Mary Veach: I had read reviews for this location and saw all the nice stuff said about Wendy so I was so happy when we walked in and were greeted by Wendy!! She was the perfect balance of helpful while still giving us space to browse and discuss what we liked. Whenever we had a question she was easy to find and came right over and had answers to all the questions we asked. We ended up purchasing a couch and the whole process was really straightforward - none of that “add this protection and this feature and this extended warranty” etc etc that you have to muddle through with some sales people. We actually had time to just chit chat while we waited for my husband to tend to our child and Wendy is a genuinely nice person!! Highly recommend a visit to this location… you may even want to call ahead and ask when Wendy is working!!

Hassan M: Got the beat deal . Delivery guys are awesome. Delivery was on exact day and time . I guess 59$ for delivery just threshold (dropoff inside through first door ) with assembly (90$). I don’t need that it was just four legs for my sofa . Customer service is amazing. For delivery person they called 2 minutes before arrival and then dropped it inside my living room. Best thing they took off the shoe before stepping on my carpet and were wearing mask .

The shipping was fast and on time, also the deliver guys will call you 20 minutes ahead before they arrived to your home. However, the coworkers following my condos rules to delivered. on studio: The WORST furniture store I have ever seen. Oh boy, where can I start? The first day I had ordered set bedroom furniture and sofa which is 1/26/22 they said I'm gonna get all the delivered by 3/23/22 I said, "OK" after a while they told me they don't know when my furniture available for delivery. (disappointment) but still, I have been waiting so patiently. March 13 they said all my orders gonna deliver on 4/2/22 I said "OK(i was happy) and I fix my work schedule to get the delivery but never lasted 😔. Yesterday they called me she told me all my orders were ready to deliver by 03/30/22 which is next week Wednesday I said ok and I fixed my work schedule again. So bad today they tell me my order not available it gonna be ready to deliver by 4/9/22 We just so disappointed because we trust them and we throw away old furniture except only meters. Now we just decide to cancel the order and buy a different furniture store if we can't able to get the order by 4/9/22 no more baby. before you buy make sure they gonna keep the promised day. for me they never. This Store Oh My GOD so unprofessional. I will never go back again.

Mark Weinress: Really like this store, and all the Room & Board locations. Large and nicely laid out for easy shopping. Well priced, well made stylish furniture with a good, but not overwhelming selection. Very helpful staff. Lots of options on upholstery and other details. I've bought quite a number of pieces at the Room & Board in Chelsea, NYC.

Brandon Gaimari: Customer service is actually good but products are over priced junk. Bought a bedroom set and the design of the bed causes it to squeak every time you roll over. Customer service had Dr. Furniture come out twice - one time screws were missing in the bed, the next time installed slat pads (why were these not installed originally?). For the price you pay, the quality is not what it should be. Beware.

Anna Harrington: First, we had a guy helping us who like was non responsive at the Logan circle room and board. Then I ordered online for July 7 and the furniture store confirmed via email and when I called they told me July 7 was unavailable. Not good service for the price and wouldn’t buy here again.

Summer Logan: I was working with Lisa (who apparently is the store manager). Her behavior does not seem like she should be. My problem was passed off to Peter and I felt underappreciated as a client. Would not recommended the people that work here. Service is below expectations for the money you spend and management should do a better job. Seems like they do not care or engage with clients. Highly disappointed and unsatisfied.

Kathryn Adamcik: I ordered a couch from here in August and it was to be delivered at the start of December. It was delayed until the end of December and I waited for it to arrive. 1 day before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse I got an email saying it would be delayed for 2 more months. I waited for 2 months and days before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse after the 2 month delay I got an email saying it was delayed again. I have called customer service and they have been of no help. They have no idea when the couch will arrive or what the progress is on it. They will not give a discount for this long delay. I am stuck in a pattern where I expect the couch to arrive any day, and then it gets pushed back. This is not okay. I paid over 3k for my couch and am just getting brushed off by customer service, the managers that I have spoken with, and the associates who we spoke to in the store we shopped at. I was planning on purchasing a side table, coffee table, and lamp after the couch arrived, but I will no longer be using room and board in the future. I ask you all to be wary of purchasing from here. I paid for the couch in full and now it looks as if it will never arrive. I expect more from this company, and am highly dissapointed.

Catie Kemp: Love love love. They were a bit too pricey for me to consider when I was living in my apartment, but since buying my place last November I have become a very loyal customer. I started working with Daren to get an idea of what I wanted in my living room- just having the sounding board was so helpful. I have since outfitted my entire living room with them- probably went to the store at least ten times before making my order and never felt harassed or pushed into buying immediately. My mom bought her first house in over a decade this summer and I’ve encouraged her to buy with them too (which she has and has had an equally good experience). The biggest thing for me when I’m spending money on furniture is knowing that a) it will last and b) having confidence in my purchase. I most recently ordered a set of four dining chairs which arrived on Friday and the color just isn’t quite right in my space. I went into the store yesterday and discussed the issue with an associate (didn’t catch her name)- they are very up front about wanting to make things right if you’re not happy. She gave me a sample swatch to take home and test in my space and this morning I called customer care who was happy to facilitate an exchange for me. They are back ordered until February so they even offered me the option of keeping the current chairs (so long, of course, as they are kept in excellent condition). Even speaking to their central customer service center is a personalized experience- I don’t have the same concern with other businesses that my order or request is going to get lost in the shuffle. You can get just about anything in any color/fabric/wood stain/finish that they have and the quality is outstanding- I really wish they were in the kitchen cabinet business because their wood quality, in my opinion, is unmatched by any other business I’ve explored at their scale. Everything is made in the US (Minnesota I believe). Of course with the pandemic things (especially custom items) can take a couple or a few months to come in, but this is far from specific to R&B and well worth the wait. I’ve had three or four delivery experiences with them and each time the employees were punctual, communicative, and, most importantly, careful with my home and furniture! In summary I can’t recommend them enough. They have found a customer for life in me and I am happy to scream my unsolicited appreciation from the rooftops any time! Edited to add- forgot to mention they are dog friendly (with treats!). If this isn’t the sign of a good business I don’t know what is.

Renee Davis: Don’t get me wrong, I love this furniture store. The customer service is great. Delivery service (workers) is great. It’s the actual product, the furniture quality that deserves 1 star (none if I could) our last purchase was the Reese sectional sofa. The buttons pick you when you sit on it and the cushions are cheap. No Cush whatsoever! It’s like sitting on the floor. The entertainment center has no wire outlets in the back for cord management and it scratches easily. And even though the only rerun policy listed is for mattresses I was told (Ginny) that if it was a couple weeks past they would be able to take it back? Do not be fooled by the pretty picture. It’s not worth the price!

Shawn Andrea: I love this store, way beyond a thrift shop. It has real furniture for a real bargain and the fact that they been in business for years in the same location with the same owner is a plus. I visited this store after literally 20 years and they still were quality people with quality furniture. Love it and I recommend it for anyone who loves to do restoration projects or just can't find what they are looking for on Amazon ,TJ Maxx etc. Only issue is when you see what you want GRAB IT! cause it will not there later for sure. I was disappointed to find out that what I saw was the "on-line" price; although it is in the store which has a higher price and a delivery fee. I could order online with a 1-2 month delivery date or purchase it from store and get it immediately.

Davetta Overall: Just moved from SC, previously looked on line for furniture stores in Alexandria, and because of the reviews it was my first stop. The showroom is small, but the manager was so nice and friendly, I knew without a doubt, this was where I wanted to shop. My first choice was a sofa and half and half chair. Due to my stairway was unable to get sofa downstairs. The manager replaced it with a loveseat that fits perfectly. He had to order the loveseat, and it was only a two week wait. This store is amazing, and they stand by their word. I was told that it would take up to three weeks, had it before. If shopping for furniture, please try this store for your needs. Also the delivery who delivered, set up the furniture, where very professional.

fabkha sabrosongo: My friend Fernando and I visited this store last Friday (10/15/21). He had ordered a dining set from Ashley Furniture in July and was still waiting for it. I had visited the same Ashley store the previous weekend and wanted to purchase some bedroom furniture, but was told I had to wait at least 12 weeks for delivery. We both found exactly the same furniture we wanted at significantly reduced prices and everything was expertly delivered and set up yesterday (10/18/21). We both will be looking at this place again. Special mention for James' expert attention and service at the store and for Jose's stellar delivery. This place rocks.

NIKKI HARRIS: I just tried calling the store on 14th Street to let them know my internet server isn't letting me access the website due to security certificate expired 25 days ago. That makes their website unsafe for personal info like credit card numbers, bank accounts, messages etc. could be hacked from people's devices. The lady whose name is, Clarissa answered the phone, I talked for maybe 20 seconds before she asked me to hold on. She proceeded to take another call. She didn't press mute or actually put me on hold because I could hear her entire conversation. She spoke in Spanish during that call and it was more than the time she even listen to what my concerns were. I hung up because I didn't want to continue to listen to her talk to another caller. Furthermore, I don't understand a lot of Spanish. A professional should have finish helping me or answer the other call and put them on hold and continue helping me. Lost a potential customer🙄

Jennifer Zydney: My best customer experiences come about when someone I do business with makes a problem go away. That was the case with Warehouse Showrooms. Knowing lead times are stretched, we ordered some outdoor furniture well ahead of when we’d need it. When we approached the date that we thought we’d take delivery, we learned there had been some miscommunication about how/when the delivery would occur. Warehouse Showrooms really bent over backwards to address the situation and make it work for us. Super helpful and responsive customer service. Furniture delivery guys were great too, very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to enjoy our Polywood rockers!

Sara Barth: Warehouse Showrooms is great! We purchased a bedroom set and couldn’t be happier. Excellent quality solid wood furniture at reasonable prices. The staff at Warehouse Showrooms are so easy to work with and gave us realistic expectations about delivery timelines. We ended up adding a piece to our order a few weeks after our initial order was placed and they did not charge us for the second delivery. We’ll definitely shop with Warehouse Showrooms again!

Barry Rosman: We bought 5 matching walnut chairs to go with our new Live Edge table. The chairs legs were too wide to fit 2 chairs side by side. After some discussion, the came up with an innovative solution to move the table legs at no charge. They saved the day and fixed it within 24 hours. That is service. They are very helpful, creative and very easy to do business with.

nick keno: I purchased a used bed for my son for his college dorm and although it was graded as C it was in excellent condition. The assistant manager Doni was extremely helpful. He understood my need and was able to sell me a sturdy bed that was most appropriate for a college kid and he even had it delivered and set up for my son. John Kemp: A few months ago, I went to a different furniture store and picked out and paid for some items. Almost two months later, I still didn’t have my items and the store wasn’t sure when they’d be able to get them to me. I canceled that order and started shopping around again when I found a sectional I liked on Bob’s website. I found a location near me in Hyattsville in the hopes that I could take a look at it in person. I’m always hesitant about furniture shopping because of the nature of it; the employees hover around you ready to pounce on any opportunity to make a sale. That was not my experience at Bob’s Furniture. The staff was attentive but laid back and respectful of my space and my need to explore before deciding. I had a great time chatting with Julissa, the salesperson who helped me. We tried out different options with what I was looking for in mind until we found something I loved and could easily afford. The best part was that delivery was schedule for less than two weeks from the date I made my purchase! Maria Napitupulu: We went to Bob's on Tuesday looking for a dining set. We had the BEST experience!! Jeff helped us that day and he went above and beyond to help us with our purchase. He was nice, funny, and very helpful. Not pushy as sometimes you go to stores that are. We were happy with the purchasing process and excited to get our first dining room set. Brownie points go to the snack station with ice cream and cookies very nice touch. :)

Romane Crispin: Love my purchase and the sale rep was super amazing. The one issue I had was with the payment process as it took way too long to pay for my item. I was trying to take advantage of the 6 months no interest plan but the credit card company's system malfunctioned for about 45min. Other than that, everything else was excellent!

Hannah Ouellette: Ben helped us find a dining room set, rug, and throw pillows for our new home. Even though he did not make commission on our custom order pillows (due to the ordering process) he went above and beyond to print out all the ordering information we would need to place a custom order through customer service. Additionally, he took a call from us when he was off work and returned to the office that same day to schedule our delivery to ensure we got the delivery date of choice. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him!

George Bo Clevenger: James was great to work with. Very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. From what I saw the furniture looks pretty decent and at competitive prices. Check out their outlet section online. You might not find a matching set but there are some good deals there.

Lily Lin: My fiance and I ordered a recliner sofa and paid $150 for installation and delivery only to find that the footrests and seats were tilted inwards, and that the whole sofa was bent into a U shape. After having a Customer Care Representative come out to look at it, we found out that the support legs in the middle were not installed. We spoke with them on the phone and they tried to sell us goof protection instead. After clarifying and speaking with the manager, he finally told us that the parts are on back-order and we now have to wait 2 weeks for a replacement couch and take another day off to wait for it and make sure that it is installed correctly. They refused to refund us any of the installation fee and it was only after talking to the store manager himself that he agreed to refund a portion of the fee. Overall our experience with the company so far has been subpar and I would not recommend them at all.

Erin Wagner: I’ve gotten so many high quality items from Miss Pixie’s over the last several years, but today I’m finally leaving the five star review they’ve always deserved! We had scheduled a delivery for them to bring a table we purchased, and Miss Pixie herself rolled up in a pickup truck this morning right on time. It turns out the delivery drivers were stuck in an elevator, but somehow that didn’t stop them at all! We gave her a hand and she didn’t charge us the usual delivery fee to make up for the trouble (what trouble?!). We look forward to continuing to shop at Miss Pixie’s as we furnish our home.

India Lindsay: Store has a variety of furniture, art, and random decorations. Everything is laid out artistically while still being easy to walk around. Majority of items are on the pricier side, though you can find a few steals. I snagged a painted medium-sized pot hand painted in Italy for $12.

Jace Warble: Miss Pixies is a lovely little shop with beautiful pieces, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and price that matches quality. Definitely worth stopping by!

Alexandra Goodman: Lovely antique store with some really nice pieces. Prices for some of the larger items were reasonable, but pricing was kind of all over the place. Obvious sets of items (chairs, side tables, glasses, etc.) were priced individually which was weird for an antique store. Other pieces were priced way too high, like $95 for an IKEA mirror or $250 for a simple basic wooden console table (which would have been $50 anywhere else but DC). Overall, I enjoyed this store and walking around inside, but I probably won’t buy here due to the pricing.

R Adebowale: I was interested in purchasing the Austin Leather Barstool from Joybird but like everyone else, I’ve read the reviews about Joybird and was nervous about purchasing furniture from them. I called the DC showroom and asked if they had the barstool on display and they did. I eventually went to the store to view the barstools in person and had such a pleasant experience with the Dela and the rest of the associates in the store. I ended up purchasing the barstools and because I purchased them in the showroom, I got a pair of free pillows! The barstools came in exactly within the timeframe they quoted and they were perfect. Will be back to purchase more furniture!

I highly recommend visiting this location in person if you’re interested in Joybird products and on the fence about your purchase, it’s well worth it.

Amy Rowland: Honestly I was scared to place an order based on the reviews. However, Tyler at the DC showroom was super kind and helpful when we went to look at fabrics. He offered a fabric sample box to take home before making the final decision. Tyler was wonderful. After visiting the showroom (twice), we ordered the Holt storage sectional and were told delivery would be mid-December. We received the couch this week, which was delivered and assembled in our living room with no hassle. So far, loving the sectional - perfect size for our living room, very comfortable, and the pet friendly fabric does not show dog hair. Will be interesting to see how the couch holds up over an extended period of time but, so far so good - a seamless ordering and delivery process.

Jessica Abbott: Our experience with Joybird has been quite disappointing. I will never buy another product from them, and wish we hadn't wasted our time and money. We bought a Hopson Grand couch, which was shipped to us 13 months ago. Within two months, a cushion seam ripped. I thought it was a fluke, and was happy when their customer service sent us a replacement cushion. Six months after that, a second cushion seam split, and again, they sent us a new cushion. Within two months of that, the first cushion they replaced split at the seam AGAIN. Now Joybird won't replace the cushion because the year warranty is over, but they told us we could replace the cushion for $200 a pop. What? On a couch we spent $1600 on 13 months ago? I see the price for that couch has actually been raised to $1760 now, which is absurd. We have a couch that is used in a formal living area that gets very little activity that is basically rendered useless. Meanwhile, our 14 year old Ikea couch that the kids and their friends use all the time, that has been through 5 military moves, and cost almost half the price, has held up beautifully. We'll never buy another Joybird product, and will happily tell anyone I know considering it what an ordeal ours has been, and how poor the craftsmanship is. Shame on you, Joybird.

Vatche Hadajian: Horrible customer service. Order will 100% be delayed if they ever receive it. We ordered a sectional, notified it had shipped and were tracking the shipment. The tracking showed it was in transit for over a month well past the deadline for when it would arrive at the warehouse. I reached out to find out the status and was told they would have to track it down. A week later they said it was lost and will need to reorder a replacement piece. Another month or so and I receive a notice that the order is ready for delivery. I scheduled the delivery and unsurprisingly I only received half the couch (the replacement order was not included). Delivery people had no clue what I was talking about. I reached out to Joybird and they said they will track the missing order and get back to me. We had just gone thru this entire process of finding the missing piece. They are in over their heads with logistic and management. We ordered our couch in Nov 2021 and its currently April 2022 and still no idea when we will get it. If you try calling the customer service number no one will pick up even if its during their stated work hours. Will never order from here again!!!

Brittany Beresford: If I could give 0 stars, I would. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND NO ACCOMMODATIONS DUE TO THEIR LACK OF EFFICIENCY. Placed an order for the Denna sectional in June of 2021, which was supposed to arrive around September 10th of 2021. I CONTACTED THEM the first week of October to check on the status because my account showed it wasn’t even in production. A WEEK LATER I received a response apologizing and that the fabric I wanted was on back-order until January 2022. The only option I was given was to pick a new fabric and they’d throw in a protection plan for free. The new fabric I chose had an estimated delivery date of end of October- beginning of November. Right before Thanksgiving I REACHED OUT TO THEM yet again, because it said it was sitting at Lazy Boy’s warehouse. I was told 1/2 of the couch was missing and that they’d start an investigation and get back to me within 3-5 business days. 8 BUSINESS DAYS LATER I REACHED OUT TO THEM, and they still had no answers. My options were to get a refund or place an entire new order (yeah right). I already informed them I wanted a refund if they could not locate the other 1/2, nothing like paying attention to detail. It’s now 12/06 and I’m still awaiting my refund. Please note we aren’t rich, and really wanted to finally invest in a good piece of furniture. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM IF YOU'RE NOT LOCAL TO THEIR STORE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ARTICLE.COM - great quality and excellent customer service.

M D: Update: 2:27 - I read through the other ratings and decided to the store directly. I spoke with Cynthia and she worked with us on the finding a solution. It wasn't a perfect solution, but it is helping us through until our couch get here. I upgrading the rating from a well deserve one star to three just because of her. If everything goes through well, then another increase in rating will come. So for the moment, go see Cynthia if you need to deal with Joybird Placed an order on July 4th. Promised delivery on the 25th, then the 30th and now December 13th. Their solution was $100 gift card, protection plan or "will provide you a full refund" A good solution would be, "We are sorry for the giant #screw up we did here is 30%+ off your couch and free delivery. Another solution would be " We are sending a temporary couch to your home and will provide you with a very generous discount." Another great solution would be "We are sorry for the giant #screw up, we are paying expediated fees for expedited materials and and will it a rush priority of your couch build, you'll have it in two and half weeks. " The online chat part is one of the worst parts of this company that I've dealt with. Not an exaggeration.

Ravi Singh: While the shopping experience was pleasant, taking delivery of the furniture was painful and a commotion. Ramadan was helpful, thanks. Saw interesting paintings in the store. VCF subcontracts delivery to another company and it was a very unpleasant and stressful experience. As the sofa did not fit into the Elevator, we paid extra cash to others to get the sofa delivered to the apartment. Calling VCF for help was absolutely meaningless. Talking to two service delivery managers of the contracting company was of no use either. One of the delivery service manager said, we signed a contract for delivery agreeing to the terms. We never signed a contract and all that we were given was a cash register receipt in the store. The delivery crew and service managers kept telling us they would take the furniture back and we have to reschedule and pay additional $200. Better to discuss all the delivery logistics before purchasing.

Ythalo Saldanha: We entered VCF to buy a sofa with the option of using it as a bed as well. The saleswoman was very attentive and helped us buy a sofa and additionally we decided to bring a table too. A few days later we received the table and the sofa. The table was working perfectly, but a few minutes after delivery the sofa literally started to fall apart. We made videos and photos, sent them to VCF Value City Furniture, who in response stated that we had to wait in a problem queue, in order to receive an employee at our house to check the problem. The next day, we decided to go to the store to return the product. After explaining the problems, we were informed that in order to return we had to pay a fine of 15% of the value of the product (which was completely problematic, poorly manufactured, low quality). After exposing videos and photos to the employee, the manager was called to evaluate. The manager was very inelegant and surprised us by commenting that if we buy a low quality product, we have to receive a low quality product. We were literally surprised by the comment, after all, we went to VCF to understand the products sold there are of high quality. Apparently they are not. The fact is that we bought it, it wasn't cheap, and at no time did the seller tell us about the quality of the product. I am attaching the video and photos of the problem and product quality that we received. Attention: Do not let the delivery people leave your house before checking the product very carefully.

Louis Michael: This is a late post, but I really enjoy the furniture I bought at a fair price from this location. The people inside are very helpful and patient. I liked the deal where there was one delivery cost for multiple items, even if they had different delivery dates. I was shopping for pieces of furniture during the pandemic and my order kept getting delayed, but I am not sure this was in Value City Furniture's control. Keep that in mind that pieces can get delayed during the pandemic.

Alberto Hamilton: My family and I came in for a Milo Sectional. As soon as we came in, Carlos Sanchez greeted us with a big smile and a friendly demeanor. Atat Riches: Got the best sale experience from Fall Church, VA 22041 Value City store. The sales rep named -Genet was amazing. She’s exceptionally nice and patient with us. Leah Gonzalez: ***UPDATE*** A year after purchasing our dining room set and bedroom set, I feel the need to share that the furniture is definitely a value buy AKA cheap! Our bed frame design broke one day after installation. We have an LED lamp on our headboard that stopped working three months after purchase. Our furniture was delivered in parts. We received our dining room chairs first, then two weeks later, our dining table. VCF is a great humble beginning. The quality is what you pay for. It looks nice, but it's not sturdy or a keepsake. The furniture at VCF is not an investment. IKEA has furniture that is more reliable than VCF. After a year of ownership, I wouldn't purchase from VCF again.

Maria Avila: DON'T DO IT!!!!... 👎 BAD quality of furniture. Not as advertised. We've had a broken bed for 5 months now and we have yet to receive p7r replacement. They keep blaming covid but they've had this problem before covid. Our furniture arrived chipped with missing part and broken. They always send it back but i constantly had to call to follow up. I've called out work expecting furniture and they never call, apologize or give a new date. Most employees have an attitude and show poor costumer service by giving wrong information on availability and delivery dates. The repair person cursed me out and said he had clocked out and I never came to even look at what was wrong with my bed. Overall I've had a negative experience with them. Avoid this store and future headache if possible

He was very helpful and asked me how I had been sleeping at night. When I told him about how I tossed and turned, he recommended a Tempurpedic mattress that he himself had purchased. Anthony Ajaegbueze: This is a very bad furniture store. They sell very cheap items that breaks in less than a month. Their financing is double what you are told at the store. They scam people of their money. I spent $1k at the store and no one told me it was a 90 day leasing. Now I’m going to pay $2300 on a $1k furniture that’s already damaged in less than a month. I hate this place.

Darlene Keeton: If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I purchased a twin size mattress, box spring and two dressers.The mattress that I purchased was infected WITH BEDBUGS!! Called the store spoke to a representative, who spoke with the manager about the problem. I was asked to send pictures of the of the mattress, which I did, and was told I would get a FULL REFUND. When I got to the store they only wanted to refund me for the mattress not the dresser. In turn I said "I was told that I would get a full refund for having to deal with this huge problem". They said "No we can only refund you for the bed." I said to him "What about the bed I had to discard and my child has no bed to sleep on? What about the furniture that I have to throw away? Not to mention having to bring in exterminator!! But still no compensation!! HORRIBLE BUSINESS take my advice DON'T EVER PURCHASE anything from JMD FURNITURE, EVER...!!

Doris Washington: The sweetest nicest people in the world!! Got an amazing deal on a really beautiful mattress and the box spring was free. They go above and beyond to work with their customers and absolutely treat you excellently!! I can't praise them enough. They also sell household items, nick nacks and other great stuff. Best buying experience in my whole life. Will definitely buy any future from them and shop in the store regularly!!! Just a great place hit one star by accident it should be 5 stars sorry!!!

Devonne Newsome: On October 9, 2019 I discovered JMD Furniture while searching for a black dresser on Google. I went to the District Heights, Md location about 11:00 am and was greeted by the manager when I walked in. I told him what I was looking for. He showed me several options and I decided on one of the black dressers, and also purchased the black platform bed and the nightstand that matched the dresser. By 2:30 the same day my furniture was delivered and set up by James and another gentleman!! Yes, delivered the same day!!! Unheard of! They were very professional, skilled and had all 3 items assembled in less than 2 hours. The furniture is beautiful and well made. While in JMD I saw other pieces of furniture that I will be buying. I highly recommend this store if you are working with a budget, but yet looking for high quality, a large selection to choose from, and most importantly when you need it the same day! I did not need mine the same day so that was a bonus and what I call exceptional customer service! Thank you JMD!

Racquel “Scrumptuosity” Hill: I had the BEST EXPERIENCE!!! This was my first furniture buying experience anyways and they made it grand. When I walked in I was unsure about what I actually wanted to purchase even after browsing online and reading the circulars that come in the mail. The Woman who assisted me was VERY nice, patient and helpful. She showed me everything I wanted to see even if it had her walking in circles. I went in yesterday, purchased a Mattress and Box-spring and was worried that it wouldn't be able to be delivered that day being as though it was my only off day for the week. The Woman assured me that I would get the bed delivered that day. She gave me a window of time, the "driver" showed up around the time and I was surprised that it was the Owner of the store and his son. He also let me know that the salesperson I was working with earlier was his Wife. I thought that it was so sweet that they were a family business. He put up my bed quickly and left. Overall, the experience was great and I will be ordering again. After reading many of these reviews I think that people don't understand that this is a discount furniture store. Don't expect Crate & Barrel furniture here, it is a place to get inexpensive furniture pieces at a lesser price. Also, from my time there I noticed that they only have one truck and a few delivery helpers it probably would help to go in there on a slow day and time I suggest early Weekdays.

Thomas Brooks: Don't spend your money here. I went in to buy a recliner. When I sat in the recliner I wanted to purchase , I was told these seats are not for sitting.... I asked how do I determine which was most comfortable to me and of coarse he had no answer.

We made our selection the staff wrote us up, delivery date was scheduled soon we cashed out and left. Employees were upbeat friendly and professional at all times. My delivery arrived as scheduled the two young guys called to keep me updated they arrived delivered my furniture they were professional,friendly and careful. I was very pleased. My experience at JMD furniture was outstanding and this will be my go to place for my furniture needs. The furniture looks great and is a great quality for the price and so easy to assemble I purchased the 11pc bedroom set with free mattress and box spring( and it’s a real mattress and box spring not a foam topper). If you’re on the fence stop in I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Heather Gray: I ordered this mattress and I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. They kept me updated on when it was being processed, shipped, and delivered. It's a good quality mattress at a great price and Very comfy. The delivery men were 5 minutes early and got it in and out within 20. I will definitely purchase from JMD Furniture again. Sassy Sauce: This is a large store with a good selection. There were plenty of Christmas gifts on sale after the holiday. The store was very clean and organized as well. Everything was clearly marked with the prices or discounted prices and there was a good selection of various items throughout the store. When we needed help, 2 different associates were able to assist us and they were pleasant too. Overall this is a very good store to shop and the savings are good.

Melakusisay: I purchased a bed (no mattress) $800 with tax and delivery. I wanted to change it in the next day because the bed is too high however the boss of the store even he did not talk us as a customer. I have receipt which states 21 day return but on the other side for clearance and final no return. The bed I bought is new but he said even no change instead we bought. I asked him nicely to help us because my wife is pregnant and she cant clip on the bed. He did not tell us and there is no clear notice NO RETURN. There is cheating sale in this store. I saw disrespect and discrimination in this store He is completely bad man. He acted on me and upset me to do this comment as a customer. I am going to court and consumer protection too. He should learn at least the law in USA. No body above the law.

Lisa Williams: Went there to purchase a couch and chair. Was within 5 feet of 4 staff members yesterday and the only person in the store. No one greeted or spoke to me. Would never consider purchasing anything from the store.
