China Town: what do users think?

DaReal Fizzie: Food is bussin man. You get the best chinese food for a very affordable price in Columbia Heights. Been eating their since 2010 and god damn they never disappointed me once. And for all of you 1 star reviews, you are not going to a restaurant with 1-3 Michelin Stars. add all the sauces in your chicken and fries to get the best experience my g.

Alyssa: So quick for take out and so good. My favorite is the General Tso’s tofu. BEST spring roll I’ve ever had. Food is always steaming hot. The people who work at the front are always very nice. It’s become my go-to take out! also very cheap and they give you so so much food!! 2-3 meals easily for only ~$12

Chiara: HIDDEN GEM! I’ve been looking for a good Chinese place for over a year and have been feeling underwhelmed in DC. This place makes such comforting yummy foods and it will become my go-to spot for sure. I got the lo mein chicken, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour pork. The latter two came with rice. They are all flavorful and the sweet and sour pork was very crispy. I recommend all of them. Also, the woman at the register is so friendly! Highly suggest it!

Chinatown Express: what do users think?

Sarah White: The fresh noodles were delicious and the dumplings were absolutely phenomenal! The dough was thicker than I’m used to but it made it that much better. My only complaint was the duck fried noodles were very bony. Not a lot of meat and not really worth the trouble. I’d go back, but I wouldn’t choose the duck.

Queenie Enriquez: This place have the best duck ever, very tender and delicious. The home made noodles is a must try. Yes, it is small and can get crowded but food is great.

John “Bams” Serev: Very delicious Chinese cuisine. What pulled us in this fine establishment is the Duck Man that was in the front window. He was just messing around with the ducks and chopping them up and what not. The duck man made eye contact with me and he then winked. Next, and without breaking eye contact with me he chopped the next duck in half with a 1 foot clever. Food was awesome duck man was cool. Waitress sucked.

Mai Ling (SrirachaLing): Delicious food, small atmosphere, right in the heart of Chinatown DC with lots of menu choices. Did i say they have duck? Its was crispy and perfectly cooked. We shared a wonton soup, duck lo mein and chicken w/mixed vegetable.

Nate B: The food was okay. We had the Lo Mein, roasted meat combo, and fried rice. Homeade noodles were kind of thick and needed more seasoning. Roasted duck, chicken and pork were pretty good. Food was served in takeout containers for dine-in. Very hot inside. Service was great. I would recommend giving it a try.

Axi Berman: Excellent duck. Really great place to eat good Chinese food away from the snooty DC crowds. Would fit in nicely in San Fran or Seattle. Reasonably priced. Food so good I crushed it before I could take proper pictures.

Shenita Oglesby: Pretty good for a carry out place. Their portions are huge. The shrimp rolls were really good, and their chicken wings and fries are not greasy at all. The location is a bit sketchy, but they get you in-and-out pretty quickly

Sam Leverenz: It’s everything you could want from a Chinese carry out restaurant. Portions are big. The egg rolls are even bigger. The perfect place for Chinese carry out classics.

Jeremy Johnson: Great carryout twin dragons the biggest egg rolls that nobody has it very known for them

Haleigh Eppler: Great neighborhood spot for take out Chinese. I love the ma la menu for that mouth numbing spice. I always mean to take a picture but find myself devouring my food first. The meifun options are also well made. I haven’t had the American Chinese food here so can’t speak to that.

MrMrs K: I love this place. If possible, Great Wall, please stop limiting your DoorDash delivery radius. Door Dash generally delivers anywhere but your page routinely is either not accepting delivery orders at all OR says my house is too far.

Mackenzie Hepker: Awesome food, great service - these guys were super slammed on a weekend night and killed it! Well worth the wait (which was still super reasonable even though it was so busy!) Will absolutely order from here again. Mapo tofu was delicious.

S. Dantzler: Came to get some mombo wings and steak and cheese egg rolls. Food was hot and fresh. Wish we got a little more sauce on our wings, but still good!

Romell: Another great food spot. Food was fresh and flavorful. They could use a little more organization when it comes to ordering and picking food. People would easily cut in front of you if they had a call in order.

Eddie's Cafe Chinese Cuisine: what do users think?

Joshua Drewes: Solid Chinese food - I had the chicken and vegetables, and it comes with hot sour soup. Not greasy, full of flavor and well worth it. Hot and sour soup is soooo good. I could have a pint of that and be happy. Food came out in under 5 min - packaged well for take out. Love this place

Cynthia C: We finished from dinning at the Lebanese place across the street, feeling unfulfilled and underwhelming, saw this place and got a Hot and Sour soup to go, and it was amazing, exactly what I wanted, actually one of the best hot&sour soup I had for a while, so would definitely recommend!

Maggie Zheng: So good, large portions and so cheap!! They also deliver for only a dollar. Really really awesome. I got the chicken fried rice and hot and sour soup.

Tom Kunsman: Simply best Chinese food I’ve had in a while. Carry out only. But very fresh. Highly recommend

Andrea Gaitan: I love how flavorful the food here is, decent portions and prices. Great location and the speed they have to prepare all is great.

Logan Schmidt: This is our neighborhood spot, sorta hole-in-the-wall looking. LOVE the food though—flavors are on point, portions are huge, and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quick, tasty Chinese food.

Megha Fernandes: Really great value and great Chinese food on the Hill!! The General Tao’s chicken was breaded well and the sauce was flavorful, the lo mein was packed and had a good flavor, and the egg roll was crisp! The only so so dish was the fried rice which was just fine. But overall will definitely order again!

Andrew Farrell: Typical Chinese restaurant. Pretty cheap food options though. Menu online was out of date so I added an updated one as of 3/5/21. Good sesame chicken combo. Rice was good, chicken decent. They use a heavy coating of bread on the fried chicken, but the meal was still good for the price. Will probably serve me for two meals worth

Charity Parks: The chicken wings are really good fried hard with a side of GenTso sauce yumm singapore noodles were also good with just the right curry flavor. Steak and cheese was okay they just need to add more meat on sandwich

Sophia Forte: We order from here all the time through Doordash. It is soooooo good. My favorite things are the sesame chicken and egg rolls. I highly recommend!

Lexie Rock: General Tso’s Shrimp is delicious! One of the best Chinese food places I’ve had in DC. Also, this place is cash only.

Elynyand Davis: Very good Chinese food. The lady was so nice. I really enjoyed my food. The prices are not bad at all.

Mark Onley: This place, and the people who run it, are fantastic. Lived next door for a couple years and regularly ate here. Very flavorful dishes (especially the fried tofu dishes) and kind staff. Best quick Chinese in the district- I highly recommend it!

Anna Lopez: Haven’t been here for almost 30 years. Place hasn’t changed a bit. Carry out food was always good and continues its legendary menu. Neighborhood has definitely upgraded as all DC has. Very somber events occurred in this carry out back in the 80’s when we encountered the crack era. Nice to see it’s till hanging on.

Reren Lamen & Bar: what do users think?

Anthony M: Everything was really good and you can tell the noodles are made in house. The Grandmas pancakes were excellent and the Dan Dan noodles were particularly enjoyable. The location is convenient from the conference center, and somewhat small. However, the service is friendly, quick, and excellent. I will have to revisit this location to try the Ramen sometime.

Sok Hwee Tay: We are in DC for a few days. We ate here the first night of our stay and it was so good we returned again. Their drinks are really good too. Must try.

Kayode Yussuf: This is my most visited restaurant in DC. I love the coconut bubble tea. Staff is friendly and Price is also reasonable. I usually will get the General Tao Chicken and rice. Stirred fried noodles is also exciting

Andrew Douglas: This place is just incredible, I had the spicy Kung Fu Ramen and some pork dumplings and they were just plain delicious. I highly recommend this place to anybody getting off the DC metro at Gallery Place or anyone stopping by DC! Great first stop in the city :)

Molly Cooper: This place was wonderful!! I got the sesame tofu and broccoli and substitute rice for steamed veggies, plus a jasmine green tea. The food was so good! This is one of the best tofu dishes I’ve ever had, it was still crispy and the sauce was delicious. The vegetables were done perfectly, and I think my friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. I will come back here AS SOON as I come back to DC. I can’t wait :)!!

imtiaz ahmad: Totally enjoyed the food and the service. I would highly recommend this place if you like Chinese food and reasonable prices. You won’t be disappointed!

Doa Al: We tried many different things in the menu. Everything came out hot and fresh. We got chicken corn soup, orange chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice, three flavor lo mein, cream cheese wontons and spring rolls. Love that it was halal since there are not much halal Chinese options in the area

Nadeem Khaliq: Something’s never change! And that’s a good thing in this case. One of the most authentic Chinese halal spots around! Always clean made to order fresh Chinese. Worth the trip or a casual drop in.

Moiz Arif: Really liked the taste of the dishes we ordered in a long time. Will definitely order again.

Eddies: Solid little Chinese eatery and longtime stand-by in the Circle. They have a good mix of standard Chinese/American as well as healthy and more traditional Chinese fare. Place is clean, food is always fresh and hot, and prices are generally competitive for the area.

Faizah Zafar: Amazing food, great service, affordable prices, and fully Halal! We drove from Florida and this was the best Chinese food we ever had. I hope to come back one day.

Joseph Zomerfeld: Just drove in from Lafayette, Indiana, have been craving some good Chinese food for days before I came back to DC and this place totally hit the spot! Ordered at the Holiday Inn and it came fast and piping hot! Delicious, and 5 stars from 3 very satisfied customers.

Rosa Trinidad Florian: First time eating here while visiting DC. The food was great, the prices were great and the service was too. Before my trip was over I had to stop there again, they have really hood lunch and dinner specials- the portions are good too.

Thomas Johnson: I’ve been there probably dozens of times now. It’s my go to takeout spot in Columbia heights/my pleasant. Love the general tso’s combo platter (great value) and their pork lo mein and crab Rangoon are consistently perfect.

M D: Literally the only carry out I will order from in DC since I was a teenager. My faves ❤️

Billy R: It is a great carryout place. I generally order on Tuesday or Wednesday nights because I find the food tastes better these nights. It is generally ready in 10/15 min top. I am a local and I thought that after a few years I should give them some credits by rating them. The only reason why it is not 5 star it is because the waiting area could be nicer and I wish the quality was more consistent on other nights. Other than that the people in the kitchen and at the checkout are nice and I like the food!

Rosa Walker: Love their food! Never disappointed. Wings always fresh and fried hard ( how I like em), fries always hot, and my usual Spicy Shrimp and Broccoli with fried rice is always delicious! Wish they delivered though. Lol

Elia Ahadi: Amazing chinese food at a good price!

Jered Brown: I stayed across the street in a hotel and this was definitely a late night spot to hit if you were looking for something quick to eat. I have never had any Chinese spots like this. Their food was on a different level. Not your regular carry out joint when it came to the food. I literally cannot find a place better in Baltimore or in DC now. The vibe is nice too if dinning in late night.

Paul VanBeuge: No doubt about it, the name grabs your attention. After you get the giggles out over the name, take a walk in the wild side and venture in for a meal. You won’t be disappointed by the warm hospitality and tasty food. There’s a lot to choose from on the menu and the staff are quick to happy to help select something. I recommend the jelly fish and short ribs.

Alexander Herbert: I saw some reviews about people getting harassed for tips, but I encountered no such thing. I usually tip 15 to 20%. The food was quite fresh, and service was of high quality. This is an authentic Chinese joint, a real slice of life. The menu was extensive, and the only thing I regret is that I did not try the frog legs as well.

华童新鲜河粉 China Boy: what do users think?

Albert Wu: Pretty good rice noodle. Unfortunately now it’s take out only. Food taste good and prices are reasonable.

Yuh Wen Ling: This little joint is terrific. I love thr fresh shrimp rice crepe (so great!), chicken sticky rice, and the beef chow fun is sooooo good. Also awesome is that you cam buy fresh rice noodles at a super reasonable price. They taste great, but nothing tops that beef chow fun. Fast and friendly service as well. Cash only...this place is a gem!

The MAYster: Stopped by during a 1 day visit to DC - no dine in so we ordered 3 dishes and ate in the car... THE BEST chicken chow fun EVER - sautéed to perfection and their pork fried dumplings and steamed beef noodle rivaled the best dim sum I have had in NYC and Philly. Cannot wait to return to DC just to have more of their dishes....

Megan Long: I LOVE this place! It reminds me of my childhood in NYC Chinatown. The service is fast and efficient, and the location is convenient to Gallery Place! The beef rice noodle crepe and the dried shrimp rice noodle crepe are the freshest I’ve ever had because they are always made to order. An order of each will cost you just under $7, which is amazing for a lunch in DC.

Mei Mandy: This by far the best beef chow fun and steam shrimp crepe in US. I’m a Cantonese growth up in Hong Kong and these taste like those I’ve in my hometown - I can tell it’s freshly made

Noodles On 11: what do users think?

Jennifer C: Had lunch here and it was amazing! We ordered shrimp spring rolls, green chicken curry, and pho tai. It all had great flavor and the portions were big! We also ordered hot tea - so good! If we were residents of DC we would be here at least once a week. Yum!!

chris mason: I rarely feel compelled to leave a review, but after having lunch at Noodles on 11 on a Saturday, I did feel the need to share my experience. The service was fantastic and the food was even better. We were so pleased with our experience that we came back the same weekend and the server even recognized us. My biggest regret is that we aren’t local to DC so we can’t become regulars for this location.

Jinji Pang: Definitely a good restaurant! Had Suki twice and all tasted good! I will come more!

Kelly Tu: Perfect. Meat size is a little bit small. pho tastes mild. But overall it’s good.

Bao Tran (Bao): The place was nice and clean. The service was great. I ordered a bowl of chicken pho and Thai tea. The soup was well seasoned but the pho flavor was not quite there yet. The Thai tea was a bit light but tasted good, not too sweet. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Amber B.: The restaurant was clean and pretty busy. The Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) was a smaller portion but pretty good. We would have liked more add-ins (bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime wedges and jalapeños) but the waitress didn’t come back until we we’re almost finished eating. I would go back next time I’m in town.

Full Yum Carry Out: what do users think?

Steven T: Been here a few times, I get chicken with mumbo, the sauce is top tier in my opinion, it’s not that sweet and sour/ Polynesian fake out a lot of carry outs use now. Rice can be hit or miss at times. The area is kind of sketchy, and you may get harassed eventually by the homeless, most of them out there will leave you alone but it’s a matter of time if you look like you don’t belong there. I feel bad for the lady because she is very nice, and puts up with a whole lot. A lady recently got shot to death outside in broad day about a month ago. So go at your own risk

HenDog Wilson: Ive been coming to this spot for over 10years And its been good to me that shrimp Egg Foo yung gets me Everytime. I had went back for those wings i grew up on with that beautiful mumbo sauce.

Angry Dwarf: Ordered here while visiting the DC area and was not disappointed. Fast and friendly service.

Christopher and Heather Cole: This is our favorite delivery food. The food is amazing and has good flavor. We always get the orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and the steamed dumplings. The portions are huge so we are able to get two meals out of it. The service is fast and the staff are always friendly.

Jae Jae: The food is good. However, I ordered extra shrimp with my dish, was charged for it. No extra shrimp.

BobbY Butler III: AWESOME!!! Neighborhood carryout that gets it right.....everything is made EXACTLY how you ask!

Alexandra Wisbiski: One of my Brookland favorites, this place is delicious, quick, and filling! Portions are nice sizes, the food is always ready in 20 minutes or less, and prices are good! We always have leftovers for the next day. I love ordering from here!

Safia Johnson: Food was good but service around 11AM 1PM is horrible and the man that answer phone is very rude!!!

Joy Luck House: what do users think?

C F: Very delicious!! We ordered the egg tart, sesame ball, and tried a moon cake. All were so fresh and good!! We will order all again and you cannot go wrong with the bakery items. Our favorite was the sesame ball with red bean. It was the best we ever had. Usually we go to Falls Church for these bakery food items but not anymore. We did not get a chance to try dinner but we will next time.

Jane L: Great for takeout which is perfect these days! I ordered dumplings and mooncakes and loved both! I used to walk by this place all the time before working from home but never stopped in. I had read reviews about unfriendly servers, so just never felt compelled to visit. Well, I would not hesitate to order for pickup or delivery. In fact when I stopped in there were a lot of drivers picking up their orders so seems like this is the way to go!

Teo Pinillo: Good place to eat, if your a tourist looking for a good, hot, affordable lunch after all day walking, this is a excellent place. Is very close to the metro station.

Vivian Westwood: I do however love a ready to order dim sum menu. I had a bbq pork bun that was ready to go. I came around 8 pm so I wasn’t expecting a fresh hot pork bun but I got what I wanted and it had the sweetness of the bun and the meat was cook properly. I also had a red bean moon cake which was delicious!

Bethsabe Alvarez: Usually when I give a good review is because the main purpose of the business is accomplished. Food: -Fried Rice great taste, fresh vegetables, it was really good. -Orange Chicken: Great flavor, little hot not too spicy, well done. -Egg Roll: Crispy outside, juicy inside. My first time trying, great experience. Place: - I think the owner should improve the way it looks. Service: -Regular. (not bad - not great)

Chenita Jasmine Amey (Nita): The best food. Building looks rough but food is excellent well seasoned and you can tell they clean their shrimp.
