Bonita Vincent: I purchased as service warranty with United Air Temp last year and again this year. So far their service personnel have been prompt to appointments, knowledgeable of what needs to be done, polite and able to answer all of my questions and concerns. The United Air Temp phone staff for maintenance appointments and services calls are easy to work with also. I am very happy with my dealing with them. They fixed my furnace within days of diagnostic of the issue, it was just a matter of waiting for the part come in. Maintenance service calls alway end with suggestions to keep my system in good order. Caren Penso: The nice man they sent, Yohanbes, was very professional and on time. He did my semi annual heat pump check and cleaned my dryer vent. I have this done every 18 months but no one was ever as thorough as he was. He took a lot of lint out and could not believe I had it done only 18 months ago. He told me that probably the guy before me did not do a good job. Very honest of him. I’ve been using this company for almost 20 years. Some of the repair people they send do not have much experience. Others are top notch. Many of them are always trying to sell me something else. He did not. Anita Adkins: I purchased a replacement for a broken high-end faucet ($599) on 3/31/22. The technician told me someone would call and it should only take a few days, so my faucet was left dismantled. No one called. I called to check on it a week later. I was told it takes 5-7 business days. We waited a few more days, then my husband called again. This time, he was told it could take up to 30 days. He asked to be transferred to our local office to speak with someone. The call was transferred, my husband was greeted by his name, then the call disconnected. No one called back. The very next day, just shy of a month, we got a call the faucet was in. But it was not the right faucet; it didn’t fit. Again, the technician said someone would call me, but no one called. After seven more business days I called again. I requested verification another faucet was ordered or to have my money returned. I was assured the Manager, Geo, would check on it and call me back. No one called. It is now almost the end of May and almost two months later; my sink is still inoperable. We had been customers of United Air Temp for over ten years. Our account has always been in good standing and we haven’t needed much outside of regular maintenance. The dismissiveness and lack of customer service we have received is shameful. I am requesting my money back.

The scheduling is very prompt in setting up appointments and the service technicians are on time every time and give a courtesy call 0.5 hr before arrival time. Zach Geller: My experience with Magnolia was abysmal. I called Magnolia on a Thursday asking them for the first available appointment because my air conditioner was dripping a lot of water every time it turned on. They said the first time available is that Sunday... fine, I get it’s the busy season. Sunday comes along and the technician’s equipment, a wet vac, isn’t working and says he will have to come back when it is working. He notes that the cause of the problem is likely the condensate line and that he will call to schedule the new appointment. Days go by and I don’t hear back from him or anyone at Magnolia so I called again. It is now Wednesday, 6 days since my first call. Miraculously, they say he can come that day! I stay home that day and wait for his call but it never comes. Late that evening I get a call from the tech saying he can’t come that day but he’ll be there Friday morning. He arrives on friday morning with his wet vac and nothing else and vacuums out the condensation pan and then asks for paper towels - I figure he’s cleaning up some of the splashed water that got on the walls and floor. Then he says something along the lines of “if the problem persists, we will need to rebuild the condensate line” and hands me his card reader to pay the bill. $189 dispatch fee and $235 for vacuuming out the pan. I was shocked. Had I known he was just going to vacuum out the pan for $235 and not actually fix the problem, I would have spent the $200 at Home Depot to buy my own wet vac. Unsurprisingly, the drip started back up within the day but was coming from a different spot now. I followed up directly with him and then with the dispatch team. I asked for them to apply the money I already paid to actually repairing it... a full week later and I still have not heard back. I’ve never felt like anyone has ever taken advantage of me so aggressively before. $424 is no small amount of money, especially considering the time I needed to put into this for negative results. Not to mention that when I hired a more competent company to clear the condensate line, they found the paper towels I handed the Magnolia tech shoved into the pan which caused the leak to move and damage even more drywall. I’m still waiting for my refund. Make this right, Magnolia. Service: Repair HVAC

Matt Toigo: I've had Magnolia do work for me twice and both times they've been outstanding. I needed advice on an old boiler and Angel clearly ran me through everything I had, checked everything over, what service options were available, and didn't try to scare me into servicing anything or buying a totally new system. Really appreciate having all the info I needed to make good decisions on maintaining or replacing what I had. I had another plumbing company no-show for a job, called Magnolia up, they got Nelson here at 9AM the next day. They gave me an estimate before starting any of the work, talked me through everything they were going to do, and capped a gas line and installed a new tub faucet in 2 hours. Life is too short to deal with contractors who don't communicate well or show up so I'll call them every time now for anything plumbing/heating related. Chris Faircloth: The customer service at this company is atrocious. I have been rescheduled and cancelled on multiple times after providing a down payment and being repeatedly assured that service would be performed during the scheduled appointment. I will update this review if they ever actually fix the air conditioning but so far we are going on week 5... Update: The AC has been fixed but at double the cost that was estimated based on the initial visit. While the technician was kind and apologetic, I will be looking elsewhere in the future.

Alonzo F: Magnolia Plumbing Service. A couple of days ago I noticed water was leaking from my hot water tank. Call around for estimates for a tankless water system but was shock at the prices. I call several companies for the estimate and decided to go with a regular tank water heater. I chose Magnolia Plumbing to replace my tank. The plumbing service technician was mainly why I chose this company. He followed up that night with a call to see if I made a decision to go with his company. He saw that my water was ready to go and to call in the morning if I had any problems. Sure enough, that night the water tank fail and water all over the place. I called the plumbing technician Pasquale Skok, he call back and told he would check his schedule and see if he could come that morning. He did come and installed my new water heater and this is the first time that I received such great service from a Plumbing company. Magnolia Plumbing your technician is a true value to your company. Bill Lawall: After having them come out and determine that we would need about 1k worth of services we were not able to do on the first appt. Paid for coming out and giving an estimate. Next made an appt for 2 weeks later on the only day the building can/would turn off the water to do the work. wanted first thing and was told they would be there between 8-10. Paul Simao: I woke up one January morning to discover I had no heat. I called B&B and they sent out Cesar promptly. He quickly diagnosed the issue - the company that had installed my new furnace and AC 18 months earlier had run an uninsulated pipe from the condensate pump to the outside, which froze when temperatures dipped, cutting off my furnace. Cesar rigged up a temporary fix that provided me heat and then came back the next day with his colleague Melvin to sort out the permanent fix. It was all done quickly, professionally and with a smile. That's why I have a contract with B&B.

George Grabow: Contacted Michael and Son for general plumbing and pipe repair in a location that had very difficult access. One of their highly experienced plumbers, Eric Blackmon, called and asked to see if he could come early. I was overjoyed as our water supply had to be turned off. Erick immediately assessed the situation and briefed me on some of the complexities and how he planned to proceed with the repairs. He kept me completely informed of his progress and asked me to inspect the project when completed. He was very knowledgeable and shared some of that with me. He then asked if I needed any other repairs work and then made some expert suggestions of other potential problems that I should keep my eye on. This was a very friendly approach with no pressure applied - information only, and I appreciate that. I will certainly ask for him for any future plumbing needs. Brittany Booker: Our service person was very nice and knowledgeable and completed the work in a timely manner. However, the work (electrical panel replaced) that was done to me is "incomplete" but according to M&S it is complete and we would have to get a "handyman crew" to fix the dry wall that the Michael & Son employee cut out and drilled back in a sloppy manner. I emailed Michael and Son's customer service and was told it's an additional cost for the dry wall to be fixed..usually costing $350 extra. Also, originally we were going to use their "leasing program" in order for this unexpected job to be completed. We asked every question we could think of to our service person and the bank they use for this program. It was not explained that if we paid it off early that there would be a "buyout" to complete the 120 month contract they wanted us to sign. ($10k total) This whole process to me was not very smooth and to honest "incomplete" due to the extra dry wall that had to be cut below the paneling. UPDATE 4/7/22 We were told the job was "complete" about a month ago, however when the Dominion person came out today to inspect the final project, there was a copper wire that wasn't grounded. M&S had to come back out and complete the job a 2nd time. Service: Electrical panel replacement or upgrading

Carol Willis: It is unfortunate that this company sends standard responses to complaints and does not reach out directly to the customer. If the person responding to my posting had taken the time to review my account they would see that I called and asked to be contacted by customer relations several times. I am stuck with this heating/hot water heating system that I paid $15,000 for and only worked for 3 months. I am very disappointed. This company installed a furnace and hot water heater system in November. Three months later I discovered water leaking from the system, there was water all over the floor. A tech came out on a Wednesday but was able to make the repair. The tech shut off the valve and had me turn off the system. He returned the next day and stopped the leak. Due to warmer than normal temps I didn’t realize the heat was not working and on Saturday morning the temperature in my house was in the 40s. A tech came out for the third time on Saturday but wasn’t able to fix it. I would have to wait until Monday. The tech returned for the forth time, was here for about an hour. He left saying that he thinks he knows what the issue is but it is 1100 on Monday and I am still without heat and hot water and waiting for the tech to return. I don’t have any confidence that even if this system is fixed that it won’t break down again. I began calling customer service on Saturday when it was clear that the system couldn’t be fixed. I asked for a replacement of my system. Unfortunately the people who could help were not available on the weekend. I waited until 8 on Monday and still had not received a called. At this point I was quite angry. I finally received a call back and I vehemently expressed that I wanted a replacement system. I was told it didn’t work that way and he wasn’t in the mood to be yelled at and hung up. I have been without heat and hot water since Friday and I am unsure when my system will be repaired.

Christine: Michael & Sons has done my furnace installation and electrical panel upgrade as well as regular maintenance on my A/C and heating. They are always professional and are mostly on time. They could be a little better about cleaning up after themselves but it’s not a huge complaint since they do a good job on the actual project at hand. There are small things I wish they would be more clear about such as they won’t be patching the square they cut out of my wall to work on the electrical panel so I have to find someone to do that as I’m not handy myself. They’re not the cheapest service but they’re not the most expensive and most of their services have a pretty good warranty that’s included. Hong Qiang: Our 15 year old water heater had to get replaced and I was able to get next day service through online scheduling with Michael & Son. The technician came right on time. It was a big job to be done by one person not to mention he has to go get the new unit and to haul away the old one. 5 hours later our hot water system is back in business. R and D: Michael & Son - Plumbing – Shower Repair - 2/23/2022 The technician respected my property by putting on foot covers at the door (each time) and not parking in my driveway without asking. I appreciated that the technician followed health protocols for wearing a face mask. The technician asked about the problem and listened to my concern (“The shower will not stop dripping”). The technician explained his assessment of the problem based on his inspection and he offered a solution. He offered assurance that Michael and Son could fix the problem and the price (up scale) for the service. The technician completed the repairs promptly and professionally. Thomas Agbonyitor: My technician Milan arrived on time both days. He was very professional. He wore a face mask and shoe covers like I asked the whole time. One of my bathroom sinks was leaking. He checked it out and it turned out I needed a new valve and a new faucet. He was very communicative and showed me pictures of under the sink throughout the process. He fixed the valve the first day then I bought the faucet the next day and he installed it a couple days later. There is no more leak and my new faucet works perfectly. Jimmie Cuevas: We used CroppMetcalfe for pest control. Our amazing Tech that serviced our house was Terry Taylor. I only want this tech to come out to my home because he treated " no pun there" our house like his own and did a very thorough job. MaShana Davis: CroppMetcalfe was great! This was our first time using them. Our hot water had been scarce the last few months. Didn’t know why, and they came in to diagnose it. We have a tankless water heater. Although the model we have appeared new to the tech (Jared), he took time to call the manufacturer and get some advice on how to assess the issue. He even called to get the price of the part that was needed to resolve it. Jared returned after the part was ordered, installed the new part, and stayed around until we were sure the issue was resolved and we were satisfied. Jared was hilarious; felt like a friend more than a tech or contractor. CroppMetcalfe made sure they informed us on when Jared would arrive even when the original appointment time was slightly pushed back.

Rob: Summary: This review is for Cool Breeze. Although the work was completed in Oct 2020, I waited until most of my basement was finished (i.e. final inspection) before posting a review. Overall, Cool Breeze did a fantastic job replacing my three HVAC systems. They also installed additional ducting in the basement. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Background: We have three HVAC systems/zones that condition the air in our house. With the older HVAC systems, the repairs began to get expensive (e.g. AC ran out of R-22 freon) and we were planning to get the basement done within the next six months. With Spring and Fall being the best times to install HVAC systems, we opted to have the HVAC systems replaced in October 2020. We also wanted to add zones and branches (supply/return vents) at the same time in preparation for completing the basement. We conducted alot of research and narrowed down our choice to Carrier and Bryant brand systems. Eventually we settled on purchasing new Bryant systems. Picking the HVAC brand is only half of the solution. We read that alot of HVAC systems break down because the HVAC contractors didn't install them correctly. Therefore, it was important for us to choose the right HVAC installer to perform the installation. To decide on the HVAC installer, we created a spreadsheet of all possible Bryant HVAC installers in our area (within 25 miles). We filtered out the ones that were not Bryant Factory Authorized Dealers and NATE certified. We also looked at reviews and ratings on BBB and Angies list. Finally, we called about 5 Bryant HVAC contractors to come in an give us a price estimate. After all of our reseach, we decided to go with Cool Breeze. The Review: We met with Ron, owner of Cool Breeze, a few times during the selection process. Ron was a middle-aged man with a good sense of humor. I mention age here because one of the contractors / owners I met with made me feel like he would retire within the next 10 years and I didn't know what would happen to the 10 year warranties if that were to occur. At times, he was a little tough to get ahold of since he was extremely busy, though I left messages with his assistant instead of calling him on his cell phone. Ron was one of the only contractors that was transparent with me by explaining everything and not being pushy. I felt like he wanted to work with me instead of forcefully trying to drive the project in a direction that I didn't want. We agreed that it was better to take the time in order to ensure a quality installation than to rush through the project. He also came in with the most reasonable price for everything I needed. The rebates and discounts were broken out on the proposal so it was obvious he worked hard in finding all of the rebates and discounts that could be applied to my project. The project took 3 weeks to complete. One of the most impressive things was the thought put into where and how the components would be installed. All of the components and wires were neatly installed and organized in a very efficient manner. During the project, all property and flooring was protected to avoid damage to my home. Although there were a few things missed such as a missing logo on the air conditioner and supply vent which was not painted black like the others, Ron and his team corrected each of these issues withouth hesitation. Almost one year after completing the HVAC project, the basement finishers noticed that there was a duct that wasn't properly connected. When I told Ron about this, he had absolutely no problem coming in and fixing the issue. Overall, we are extremely happy with our HVAC system and our choice of Cool Breeze as our HVAC vendor. We would definitely hire Cool Breeze again and we recommend them to everyone. To get a sense of how much I appreciated their work, I have prepaid 10 years of maintenance on the HVAC systems from Cool Breeze. Thank you Ron and team for a job well done! I can't stress enough how much I appreciate the attitude David and co run their business with, I always feel like I'm being given straight, fair answers and charged reasonable prices. Emily Guskin: Dave is the best mechanic. I have a 20 year old car that I hope to drive for 20 more years because of Dave. I have never been condescended to by anyone on his staff and never feel ripped off. In fact, he often charges me less than his estimate and regularly tells me not to bother to fix some stuff. Dennis Nguyen: DP Auto Service is awesome! I had a check engine light illuminated. I have a device to get the fault code. I also did hours of research trying to figure out what was wrong and what part I needed. It had something to do with an oxygen sensor. I purchased a sensor and called in to have it replaced, letting them know what sensor I had. Lo and behold, I got the wrong brand and not the original equipment manufacturer, and instead some aftermarket part. DP Auto told me to look up the part for a specific brand that Toyota's use, and I did. While Lexus (owned by Toyota) was quoting me $420 for the parts and labor plus a mandatory $150 diagnostic fee, I panicked a bit and said no. The dealership was charging $237+tax for the part alone! I went the route of doing the diagnostic work and ordering the part myself for about $65. I went to DP Auto and got the part replaced the day of in about an hour The cost was very fair for the labor. To sum it up, I took a chance, did the diagnostic, and it's on me if it didn't work out. However, I have no more check engine light and couldn't be more relieved. I hate those dash board warning lights, and I've put this off for too long.

Jay Orlando: David at DP Auto is easily the best mechanic I've ever worked with. He helped fix a problem on my car that had been and issue for 6+ months that no other mechanic seemed able to figure out. The car is running better than ever now. David was able to show me the issue on my car, and test it while I was there to see what the issue was. Ive never had a mechanic be so quick or transparent in that way. Additionally the price was very fair/good, and the car was ready quickly, exactly within the time window that David said it would be. For these reasons I highly recommend David and DP Auto and will be sending all of my friends here too.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Sassy Sauce: Who doesn’t like Costco. It’s filled with stuff we really don’t need, but when we see it we justify why we want it and figure out the rest later. The tire center crew is very helpful and I have bought car batteries from here as well. The ease of rerun for items is really good and the process is very streamlined. I like the selection of items and it’s generally well staffed. I don’t have to wait too long in line before checking out. The gas prices are the best I’ve seen in the surrounding areas. It’s usually a win whenever we visit.

Anthony Stewart: A bit crowded, but great just as every other Costco. If you haven’t been a member for a while, now is your time to go back! Things have only gotten better! Pretty easy to reach by public transport if one doesn’t plan to get much (and traveling by bus and metro forces one to be a bit more circumspect in one’s purchases). Will be returning monthly and already know where to find great holiday essentials. Hadn’t had Costco pizza in years, and it really hit the spot. It’s one of the few places in the country where a meal and a drink can still be had for under $3!

Oceanie De Silva: Love Costco and specially this DC one as it’s the only one that sells Liquor in the whole DMV area! We find some great items- coconut water from Sri Lanka, Dutch ovens for a great price! Hard Liquor and wines and beers etc amazing collection!! And great prices too! The Japanese whiskeys are a treat and also some fine wines from France and Spain! Also the service is great and efficient! Even though it’s always crowded you move fast!! Become a Member and come over to the DC one!

B. Lipkowitz: This is a great store for just about anything personal, business, and corporate. A courteous, efficient staff is ready, available to serve, offer samples, or assist along well stocked aisles of both the familiar and upscale. Libations, anyone? The A+ "adult beverage" section has an exceptional array of wines and spirits.

I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: Its always a pleasure coming into this Costco to see the workers with great customer service. They are friendly and kind. The selections are wide and many. I really like this location and it’s close to home.

Jneen Pas: The lines were long but the cashier was polite. Then my reciept didn't print at the register and I had to wait an additional 20 mins for them to bring me a printed reciept from the back. Made my rating less.

Larry Jost: The memorial is very impressive and can be seen from quite a distance. Getting there is a bit of a challenge, but worth the step out of the way to see it up close.

Arlene Aninion: Truly love this Air Force Memorial. Three stainless steel spires soar into the sky from the promontory reaching a heights of 402 feet above sea-level. The arching design was inspired by the contrails of Air Force Thunderbird aircraft as they peel back in a precision "bomb burst" maneuver. Granite walls contain inscriptions describing valor and values of aviation pioneers supporting the Air Force and its predecessor military organizations.

Mickey Limbo: This will be inside the Arlington National Cemetery soon as DC bought all the land around it and are moving a road to include this amazing memorial and expand the Cemetery.

T. Gafford: Beautiful simplistic & stylish symbolism of our US Air Force. Provides an excellent visualization of the first stanza of the Air Force song, "Off we go into the wild blue yonder…" The Air Force Core Values placards, espoused by every Airman, reminds visitors of the principles that ensured mission success. The placards of Valor, Courage & Sacrifice exemplify the service of our Airmen & their families while serving our country.

J P: I enjoyed seeing this free memorial. Bonus feature is the perfect view of the Pentagon from here.

Josiah Keilson: One of the most underrated monuments. Incredible views of DC and the Washington monument along with a truly inspiring collection of quotes from serviceman throughout history. I highly recommend coming at sunset - it’s so beautiful!

Nikokar, Shams: The most expensive MD inspection $99.9 place, spent 4hours after longtime waiting and came up it didn’t pass and failed due to steer has cover and nailed was on tire but it wasn’t flat. I can take off the steering cover it won’t be any issues and ask to fix the flat tire so they said charging for $49.99 I had to go fix it at Pros Tire for $19.9 only. The Pro tires & Auto is charging $79.9 and fixed my flat tire for $19.9 only. It was tough and disappointed from this place.

Alex Sviridovsky: Multiple positive experiences with this auto shop. The customer service is always on point, pricing is reasonable and up front, and it's very clear that they're acting in your best interest instead of trying to earn an extra buck. Very happy I found them. So far I've had tires, oil change and state inspection done here and each interaction has been great.

Ernest Davidson: I caught a flat on the highway and had to ride another mile or so until I got to a safe place to pull over, so I wasn’t sure if I damaged my tire to the extent that it wasn’t repairable. I took my tire into the shop and was greeted at the front desk by Wendy. I explained my situation, so Wendy told me if I was willing to leave it they can have a look at it and get back to me. Even though I didn’t hear back from anyone that day, I called the next day and spoke with Tamara, who was able to look into my request and explained that my tire was not repairable. I inquired about a new tire, but when she checked that tire wasn’t in stock. However, after I mentioned that the tire was less than a year old she was very helpful in recommending that I check with whoever I made the original purchase with because it may still be covered under warranty. I did that and it turns out that it is still covered, which will save me sone money. She could of easily tried to get me to wait for the tire to be ordered and purchase from them. Ashley V: My husband and I recently stayed a night to celebrate our wedding night. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and sanitized but i was extremely shocked by the lack of amenities at this hotel. There was no microwave in the room. There was no room service. No breakfast the next morning. They did not validate parking. I think I was expecting a little more from a hotel of such quality. It was nice for a quick staycation but i probably won’t stay here again.

Titi: Perfect location! Right near everything. Our room had a beautiful view of the ferris wheel. The main issue was the bathroom area in our room. It was really nice to look at, but not functional. The bowl sink splashes water all over anything near it, and the whole counter and sink are super low. I'm only 5'7 and I had to bend a lot. Then there's the issue with it not having a door or a half wall or something for the bathroom. If you're at the sink undressed or half dressed or coming out of the shower and someone opens the door, anyone in the hallway will get a show. I wanted to like the AC hotel, but we will most likely try one of the other centrally located hotels in the harbor next time.

This hotel is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you definitely won't be let down. Stay was excellent from checking in to checking out. The customer service was great as well as the location. I will surely stay here again when in town

John Roby Morsberger: Rooms are nice. Storage is tight, but adequate for a short stay. I didn't care for the face bowl. Only one coffee for a double room. Staff is excellent, friendly and helpful.

James Elliott: The room was fair and nothing to rave about. There is absolutely ZERO continental breakfast, it's a mediocre 13$ pastry quiche display that won't appeal. I've stayed at cheaper hotels for less than half the price that loaded you up with eggs bacon toast waffles juice etc for free. This placed is designed to get every dime out of you anyway they can while your here.

Crystal Tan: My husband was attending a convention nearby and we booked a 3-night stay at the hotel. The hotel doesn’t really have a big sign outside, like what you might expect. The hotel building looks like any other high rise buildings with restaurants on the ground floor. It’s a good thing that our U er driver is familiar with the area and the hotel. As we entered the glass sliding door, which just looks like a side door and not a hotel entrance, there were 2 elevators and a flight of stairs. The hotel lobby was in fact on the 2nd floor. The hotel is a good hotel to stay in overall. It is clean and bright and modern. Our room was on the 2nd floor as well which we didn’t mind because it was convenient to go the the lobby or the breakfast area in the morning. We have 2 queen beds and our room has a great view of the street and the park. I actually thought it would be a noisy room as it is news the streets, but it wasn’t. The hotel was perfect located amongst shops, restaurants, and the harbor where the huge Ferris Wheel is. The room is pricey though. At $343.28/ night with taxes, there’s no free breakfast, not even free coffee. I heard that it is the cheapest room they have. Breakfast is buffet style for about $13/person. This is not your eggs bacon kind of breakfast. It’s more of pastries, fruits, boiled egg, cereal. slices of meats for a sandwich, coffee, and bottled orange, cranberry, or apple juice. There is nothing special about the bed. My sleep quality is the same as the other good hotels that I’ve checked it (at a better price with free breakfast and/or free coffee at least). There was only 2 complimentary coffee when we arrived, and it had never been replenished after it was consumed. I’m giving this hotel 3 stars for the location. Will I check in here again? probably not. Should you check in this hotel? Yes, because the location is great.

Michelle C.: Stay away from this hotel even though it’s a great location. I was checked in by a male staff and several hours later, the MOD, Leonard called my room to verify my last name and requested me to proceed downstairs with my ID stating that my room wasn’t assigned in the system. Requesting personal info via the phone is a violation of privacy. In addition, verification of ID is supposed to be performed at check-in and not after! In addition, the MOD was very rude and sarcastic when I refused to provide the info as I wasn’t even sure if he was legit. Leonard was very sarcastic during the interaction, which is unacceptable. The encounter could have been handled in a better manner.

Arcenia Macklin: Inquired about breakfast before arriving and was told they didn't have one. Upon checking out, I smelled breakfast food; they do have a continental breakfast for $12.99/per person. Disappointed by the misinformation. Outside of that, the stay was pleasant.

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

scmi7y: Not too good experience, they did not have any of the 4 things we came for. Also they don't sell graphic cards in this store. Staff was 50/50 some was very helpful and good attitude. While others seemed annoyed by customers getting in their way and asking "stupid" questions. Somewhat hard to navigate the store. And prices has gone up lately.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

VIRGINIA Parker: Very well stocked and clean associate ready to help you. Only one problem not enough cash register open to get the people out. But that's the problem in every store.

Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights,the women's clothing layout displays of colors style,etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking.It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

caroline hoxton: An August wedding can be extremely hot and uncomfortable for guests and vendors, so we reached out to AirPac for assistance. Tina and her crew were amazing! Understanding that we did not want the units to be an eyesore, they provided the most discrete option that provided the most maximum comfort in our barn venue. No one even knew they were there. With most wanting to have circulating air and open doors during this Covid time, Tina suggested cooling the barn even with the doors wide open. AirPac has done extensive research to help their brides create a memorable and safe event. Tina expressed taking care of the air we are breathing is one of the most empowering things she could do right now. Alyssa Sciannella: The room was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. The staff was kind, friendly, and helpful when we arrived. We were given clear instructions about self parking, which was helpful. The breakfast was better than expected, and had gluten-free options to accommodate my food allergy. At check-out, the doormen were kind enough to stack our belongings on a rolling cart and bring it out to my car without us having to ask. They really went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Brent: Great hotel. We stayed in a suite which was great value! The room was clean, love the small kitchen which was useful! The location of the hotel was great - really close to the metro station and the staff were super friendly. The downsides of the the pressure of the tap sink wasn’t strong, there wasn’t a kettle or teabags and no bathroom robe was provided. Otherwise would recommend.

Kelly Adon: I'm just wrapping up my weekend in DC and had to leave a review for this Residence Inn! This operation is a well oiled machine, everyone has a job and executes that function perfectly and then goes above and beyond to make an experience for the guest. The breakfast ladies have all been spectacular, Elaine especially. She is a picture of true hospitality. Each person I run into has a smile and warm greeting and you really feel at home here. This is not easy to do in a city like this and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone for business or pleasure! Also want to add, the hotel is in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants and the National theater. It is also on major bus lines if wanting to go that route to get to the museums!

Chris Saslo: Truly appreciate the convenience of this hotel. Staff are always kind and professional. Closet space is a challenge as suits and shirts stick out beyond the doors making the closet suboptimal. They still have not reinstated full maid service yet so you have to ask for coffee, Towels etc. Otherwise the hotel is one of my preferred despite other Marriots in the city having more amenities overall.

Downie Winkler: Everything about our stay was excellent. I've been to hotels that were supposed to be the "best in the biz," and haven't had very good experience with the sound bleeding through the walls, or the quality of the bedding, or the other guests staying there. The staff was very friendly, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Joanne Haney: We had a bit of trouble locating the hotel. Upon arrival the valet assisted us with our luggage. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted quickly, but given the wrong room. After calling the service desk, a few minutes later a porter came with the right key. The room was clean and spacious. There were large windows witha street view. The kitchen had a regular sized refrigerator and microwave. It had a single serve coffee maker. The beds were comfortable. The shower was stocked with large size bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The buffet breakfast wasn't as in the past, due to Covid-19. We did have pancakes and scrambled eggs. The only fruit was bananas. The coffee bar was clean and well stocked. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful. Tables were cleared and cleaned in a timely manner. Parking was $50 + tax for valet which is pretty much the only choice. Street parking is difficult to find. The valet crew did a very good job. They were patient and helpful.

Alfonso A. Rivera Cordero: It worth every penny. The included breakfast it was a mega plus. Thanks to the associates that make the breakfast everyday. You deserve all the Credit. The locaction was perfect for our visit to all the national mall. The CVS on the same building was awesome to have. 15 minutes from all the sights and very easy to walk around. The room was phenomenal, the only thing was the touch paint in room you can notice was the wrong gloss and the thermostat was so far from the actual vents area it can get warm enough that bother. But other than that was great stay.

Maggie K: This was the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. There wasn't even dust on the baseboards. The room was very basic but it got the job done. Breakfast was great but the coffee was very weak. All the staff were very kind and helpful. It was surprisingly quiet at night.

Tsukiko: Can not say enough good things about this place. Sheriden is the nicest, most amazing person. She always has pets for my little dogs and I know they make her day. William, Kyle, and Dylan are also incredible people. Kyle is my service dog’s favorite new friend. I’ve never seen her warm up to anyone so quickly. Everyone at the front desk also loves my best friend’s dog Cap. He always gets so excited to see whoever is working when we come down. The staff here are all wonderful people and have helped make the last 9 months amazing.

Tom Burke: ~$150 for the night do we didn't have to drive 1.5 hours back home after the event. Room seemed clean, but could've had better lighting. Rate included breakfast - nothing special, but good. Walking out the door was a bit confusing due to the double hallway (the building is a narrow wedge, due to occupying two adjacent roads on a traffic circle. Parking was interesting - you've got to drive around the block to enter subterranean parking, and there's a staff member that punches a code to let you in. When checking in, there is really only 1 spot in the lobby parking, so that was a bit nerve-wracking. Overall good night, tho. Staff was very friendly.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Cliodhna MacFadden: We purchased the Element 65” TV, and after 3 days the backlight broke. We tried everything to fix it. Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Jasmine Thomas: Mobile Tech Has A Rude Raspy Voice Lady Working There. Ms.Kathy Is Extremely Unprofessional & Doesn’t Know What She Is Talking About. Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.
