Sequoia DC: what do users think?

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.

IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.

John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.

Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .

Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!

elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Farmers & Distillers: what do users think?

Courtenay O'Connell: We were staying at Hampton across the street, and decided to try their happy hour at F&D. Prices were good. Staff was excellent & really hustling. We didn’t have to wait long for food and drink. The spicy pork riblets were just okay - not much meat. He really wanted the hot dog ($6) and tater tots ($4), but they didn’t have them. Huge disappointment. I enjoyed my shrimp spring roll & Margarita (wanted it sweeter, though). The Margarita packed a punch! Or I’m a lightweight. Or both! I would have tried the other Spring Rolls, but hubby wanted something more to eat, and nothing on the menu appealed to him. Oh, well. Can’t please everyone.

Corey: A bit high end but the prices reflect the quality. We stopped here for dinner Saturday the 18th around 730. Our server Justin was great providing suggestions for cocktails (made with their own liquor) and food. We ended up doing appetizers for dinner and drinking a few rounds of delicious cocktails favorites included the bread platter, the barrel aged old fashioned and the bourbon maple smash. After it was all over we wished we had ordered from their excellent dinner options and hope to come back and try more of their excellent food.

Bobbi DeAnda: Love this place! My husband and I went here for our anniversary and then again for his birthday! It’s definitely a treat. The half pound Louie is AMAZING! Drinks are pricey but tasty. The food is SOOOO good. Will definitely be back for special occasions!

Simple Life Keekee: The restaurant overall decor is the BOMB, so clean and the workers are so informative and The drink I attempted to drink was their Strawberry and ginger Margarita (You have to love Ginger) overall the drink was good and I loved it. The crab and Artichoke dip was good wasn’t hot like in favor but was good. the burger was good as well need a little more seasoning however it was a 9/10 recommendation

Teresa Simmons: Incredible food and service. Interesting menu choices, very unique. Loved the cherry blossom dessert. The noodles in the cumin lamb dish were so good. Large variety of wonderful cocktails too!! Definitely get the dumplings appetizer, it is so good!

Arn Heggers: Service has always been stellar, no question. The food was good, but for the price point, there is a higher expectation. The bread on my Reuben was dry and the meat was slightly overcooked, giving it a very chewy texture. Fries were cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of saltiness. Overall, it was a good diner experience.

M Lopez: This restaurant was highly recommended by friends, and I made sure to make reservations in advance. Was our 1st stop in DC, unfortunately it was a huge disappointment for us. Dinner started well, we were seated fast, ordered a drink, and bread basket which arrived fairly quickly, but after that, our food took more than 30 minutes, waitress never acknowledged us again and when the food finally came, she only said that the kitchen was busy, nothing more. Menu stated the pasta was homemade, not impressed. Fried green tomatoes were awful and their signature dish, fried chicken with mac and cheese was ok, Bojangles is better and much less expensive, lol. The only good thing was the drink and the corn bread.

The Greenhouse: what do users think?

Melissa Luke: The food is great, but the experience is what wow’d me the most! Wonderful ambiance, very cozy and not pretentious, and they give you a tiny upholstered foot stool for your purse!! We had tons of fun.

Miguel Curiel: Elegant experience, tasty food. Went in for brunch and place is 1) more beautiful than expected and 2) cheaper than expected. Great pick if you want to go have a nice talk + meal in somewhere iconic, fancy and affordable. Highly recommended that you reserve beforehand.

Mark Blanchard: Delicious brunch and beautiful restaurant. Classy high end touches all around.

Caitlyn George: Extremely accommodating. We walked here with the kids from our hotel excited to try a new restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with how kind the staff were to squeeze us in. We will absolutely be sure to make reservations next time now that we know. The staff were friendly and offered special surprises for the kids upon sitting. Made them feel so special. This is a brunch that makes you feel upscale and special. The beakfast foods and drinks are highest quality, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every moment and will absolutely return! The kids loved it and enjoyed feeling fancy for the morning and insist that we go back.

G Dalmeida: A return to quiet elegance... The Greenhouse is fine dining for Brunch or Lunch. It felt so nice to enjoy a brunch that wasn’t rushed, or had me waiting 45+minutes to be seated. From the fine China to the very attentive staff and quiet ambiance The Greenhouse at the Jefferson Hotel will briefly make you feel as though you aren’t in Washington, DC but maybe a lovely summer home of a friend overlooking the river. The meal I selected was rather simple and traditional waffles with fresh fruit. They were prepared well not too crunch and definitely not to soft. Too much cream butter and a glaze over the strawberries were the only things I found lacking. But everything else was just perfect . Plenty of hot coffee served in slightly larger cups and a beautiful table sitting. I would recommend The Greenhouse to anyone who appreciates a slightly old school style dining experience. It made me glad I was up on all things Emily Post. (aka dining etiquette).

Aditya Parikh: Lunch… Food: ***, Service: ****, Ambiance: *****, Value: **. Nice environment, but I won’t be back for lunch. It just isn’t good enough to justify the price when there are better establishments in DC. Might try dinner or breakfast sometime to give them a fair shot.

Sheneze Jones: Good food and great service!

Seasons: what do users think?

Pooja Varma: This place is amazing, the hotel is beautiful and the food is just as impressive. Fresh and tasty and great service! I would highly recommend stopping by Seasons for lunch if you are able to. Shared a quick lunch with my brother but I will definitely make time to be back again soon!

Fernando Catala: I have been going to brunch to the Four Seasons in Georgetown for years now, the best buffet in DC second to none. Expensive? Yes, but worth every penny, excellent food quality, superb service, and very nice vibe. Today we celebrated Mother’s Day with my wife, kids and two other families, party of eleven. Regrettably, the experience was far from what we have been accustomed to before. For starters coming down the stairs to the lower level where the brunch is served, we found that the serving stations were set up in what had previously been the lounge area outside the dining room. Here, traffic from all directions converged in what looked like a food fair in a cheap hotel. People like us arriving, others leaving, the majority roaming around trying to decide what to get from the much more limited options presented for the occasion, and do I dare to mention the comings and goings to the restrooms located almost like an integral part of the offering right there next to the food stations. Totally distasteful. Enter the dining room and you will only see a couple of food stations and lots of crumbled tables very close to one another. Obviously a very busy scene where priority was given to headcount and bottom line over quality. The dessert room remained located where it was before, but consistent with what we saw with the food, it lacked many of the wonderful choices previously displayed. A very poor experience overall, will not repeat. One thing they continue to consistently do is to charge a very steep price per person. I am no longer able to justify paying these prices for such a lame excuse for a luxury brunch.

Bita Motesharrei: Way Overpriced. Food wasn’t impressive. $34 hamburger and they bring you sprite in a can. $28 chicken tasted burnt. Salad had a smoky dressy also $26! When I told the waiter he brought me a small Cesar. 14$ truffle fries was burnt and he told me those black pieces were truffles, they were burnt! Not happy. Will not go back there.

Brian Sharnick: The food at Seasons does not disappoint. The brunch is phenomenal and the options are amazing. The service and staff are some of the best in the industry. They are incredibly attentive and don’t let your drinks run dry and are there as soon as you need them. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Sam Y.: Amazing spot for breakfast and for spotting celebrities.

Yolanda Stevenson: Very much over priced ….won’t be back I could have door dashed for all that… I see why I never heard of it

Art Hahn: The Sunday brunch was a disappointment. I was sure this was a safe bet but was so wrong. The service was great but it was really hot and the food buffet was sad. It was 85 degrees and at first it seemed okay that the windows were all open. Unfortunately it became very hot and humid. At the least, I would have expected the air conditioning to remain on to counter the outdoor heat. The buffet only had 3 types of pastries!! It was like the choices at a cheap hotel continental breakfast. There was no fresh bread choices for toast; no bagels; and the only bread was some small slices of toasted white bread which was really crunchy. The salad bar was good but had less things to choose from than any I have seen in some time. The deserts were good but the flan was made with Ricotta cheese which is basically a short-cut. For the $100+ price per person, I expected much more. There are so many really good high-end places I considered but unfortunately made the wrong choice.

e j: Extremely overrated, especially for the price. There are many other brunch spots I’d recommend for a special occasion before this one. Took my parents there for their 50th anniversary. Selection was limited and they sat us 20 minutes late for our reservation. The buffet setup is inelegant and it’s difficult to maneuver around to the various stations because of how the dining room is set up. Many desserts were no longer available by the time we got to that point in our meal, which was disappointing because my mom lives for dessert. I contacted the Four Seasons over a month ago about our experience and have yet to receive a response. The only reason I give two is because the dessert setup was quite beautiful.

The Park at 14th: what do users think?

Gabriella WOWITSGOLDIE: Had a blast here !! Food was really good for brunch … it’s like a big plate of food and unlimited mimosas … salmon was so good ! Wings came off the bone, delicious. You pay one fee and spend like 3 hours there. The music was pretty good too, after you drink a few glasses you might even get up and dance. Bathrooms upstairs are very tiny and a little outdated other then that service was very good and food was great would definitely recommend! We will be back!

Tasha Fuller: It was all good, from the drinks, appetizers, entrees, to desserts and service. As you can see we were ready and The Park at 14th did not disappoint. We all agreed that the spinach and artichoke dip was “da bomb” the dip was creamy and full of flavor and the the fresh baked chips were the perfect compliment. We also enjoyed the shrimp and calamari. For dinner we ordered jerk wings for the table and I had the lamb, and I was not ashamed to pick up and clean the bone, it was that good. Everyone ordered the brownie for dessert and then we ordered a bread pudding for everyone to sample. I could have eaten them both and some would say I tried. You must check them out when they reopen in March.

Solana Cox: We came here all the way from Pittsburgh to celebrate our 5 year anniversary weekend. Every occasion and celebration that comes up, I will choose this place every time. The service and the DJ was on point. After a nice fine dining experience the night before, this is exactly what we were looking for the next day. Good vibes, good music, good food and drinks, and an all around fun atmosphere. When we told them it was our anniversary, they went above and beyond for us the entire night we were there. All the staff were so helpful and kept checking in on us even if it wasn’t our actual waiter. Special shout out to Dre which I’m assuming is the manager, that guy was running circles assisting staff. I’m a manager myself and now I feel like I need to step my game up watching that guy work lol. He was on top of everything and made sure we left with a memorable experience. I plan on coming back every time I visit DC. If you’re looking for a night out with good food and drinks, a live DJ playing hip hop/ r & b hits from early to mid 2000s, and all around exceptional service, this place is it. Highly recommend.

Jenn (Jenn): A small group of friends and I had dinner at The Park for my friend’s birthday and it was a good time. It was our first time eating dinner here and the food was presently good. I ordered the baby lamb chops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My meal would have been really good but the gravy was salty so that ruined my meal. The lamb chops were nicely cooked, tender and juicy. The size is accurate for the name, and they were indeed baby size.

Lani: It was okay. The food / drinks came out fast. The happy hour only had two drinks on the menu and they weren’t strong. It was busy so we didn’t see our servers as much. I feel like the entrees are over priced now. We didn’t get enough to match the $30-40 price tags per entree. The wings werent good anymore, they were soggy. The vibe is definitely different now that it’s a restaurant only, which isn’t a bad thing but it should be noted. I think the quantity of food should match what you’re paying. I liked that I could let any server know my order if I didn’t see my server and they took my requests. But I don’t see myself returning here. The servers energy was that I couldn’t just come for drinks anymore and had to order a meal and not just appetizers. He was pushy & kept asking me what I wanted to eat and I had ordered many drinks and apps at the point, didn’t like that. The party next to us was overwhelmingly loud and we couldn’t hear each other.

Kar Ruiz: Great experience. We went for my friend’s birthday and the service was excellent; food amazing. We just loved it. Planing to come back.

Behanka G.: Food was bomb! Drinks were good. I had the pan seared chicken, a tuxedo, and daily punch. First time here and I had a friend visiting. She enjoyed it as well. The place was lively and well decorated. Parking was hard to find on a friday night but luckily there’s valet for $25.

Dan Richards: Went here for brunch as part of a group conference. They gave us a sampler of different foods and everything was great. From the French Toast to the wings every bite was an experience. The mac & cheese was one of the best that I have had at a restaurant. The eggs were fluffy and the bacon was perfect.

Latasha Perry: We made a reservation on open table the day prior as a recommendation from a friend. At our arrival we were greeted and seated promptly. The staff was friendly, attentive and swift. Our food arrived hot and was so good. The jerk wings amazing and the salmon juicy and flavorful. Mac and cheese was perfect. To note: There is a bar for seating as well. The atmosphere is dark themed and the music was complimentary of a Saturday night out.

Renita S.: Brunch is always good here. Lots of food selections and bottomless mimosas. They serve Lavazza coffee and the staff is nice and friendly!! Valet parking is a bit pricy at $20 and a reservation is recommended.

Spencer Williams: always enjoy brunch at the beacon hotel.....the food is amazing and always a variety of fresh delicious foods and dessert ...🤗😁 ...

Donalia Clay: Their brunch is to die for! But their dinner menu is great also. The decor is so elegant and relaxing. Parking is impossible so Uber there.

michael gilliam: Wanted to see the views but it was raining, young lady tending the bar today was great. She gave me great food choices, I was pleased!!!!

Norman M. Wereley: Ordered crab cakes, fries and hazelnut chocolate torte. All were very good. Service was excellent.

Queen Mercy Teasley: Great veggie burger, tastes like the #BeyondBurger patty. Tender, flavorful & juicy! 😋

Teddy & The Bully Bar: what do users think?

Julleny Wain: Food was really good but pricey. They do have unlimited mimosas if you do the all you can eat which is $50 per person. The portions as small buy again its all you can eat. The chicken and waffles was amazing, they have a waffles station, omelet station.

Alita brown: I came here for the Christmas dinner. I’m giving it a 3 because the service was good. Unfortunately the food was mediocre and extremely overpriced. $70 buffet style. The meat was absolutely dry and tasteless. I tried both the salmon and chicken , but couldn’t bare to eat either. The sides were good but not worth $70. I don’t think I’ll ever have this type of dining experience over the holidays. I will cook my own.

Hyun Kwak: I had a burger with fries along with sparkling water. the quality of service was ok. the burger was great but the fries were not that fresh. I still give them 4 stars. they have a happy hour menu, but the prices were not too different from the full menu. so, please check both menus even if you go there during their HH. happy dining! :)

Amy Rosenquist: The food at this place was absolutely delicious! We ordered an omelet, avocado toast, chicken & waffles, and chocolate chip pancake. The mimosas are small but they have a “bottomless” option if you’re looking to have a goooooood time ;) We sat outside and the umbrellas didn’t do much while the sun was still rising, but once it was overhead it was much shadier!

M B: Bottomless brunch offered a variety of foods and consistent pours throughout the duration of our 2-hr table reservation. Some dishes were less impressive than others, but the pricing and overall experience were unbeatable.

Jason Wallach: Went there for lunch. Excellent food, but a little slow on the delivery if you are trying to grab a "quick" bite, so be sure to tell the staff if you need speedy food delivery. I ordered the pumpkin soup to start, and it was smooth, rich, and sweet with a dollop of olive oil ricotta that added a fantastic touch of savory saltiness. The portion size was not very large, but the soup was very good. For my lunch entree, I ordered the mushroom risotto. Although the portion size was not large, the risotto was exceptional and very filling. It had blue cheese crumbles all over it, some other cheeses that left strings hanging from my chin, and something like honey that added some sweetness to everything. I cannot wait to return for happy hour or dinner to try their cocktails.

Christopher Kenneth Young Jr: Good service. Thank you Olivia. Food could’ve tasted better for brunch. Lots of small portions during brunch, if the portions were larger, we would’ve ordered less plates. I don’t recommend going for brunch with parties more than six - can be very hectic. If you want an unlimited brunch, I would recommend this place.

C Simpson: The restaurant atmosphere was beautiful. The brunch options were great. However the food was just okay. George, the manager, was great at accommodating our group and making sure that we were all taken care of. The servers appeared to be overwhelmed .

Ben's Next Door: what do users think?

E Gilbert: My best friend came into town and we want to do something fun so we went to Ben Next Door we had a ball. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious 😋. The music selection was on point to match the unlimited mimosas that came in 3 types cranberry, pineapple, or orange juice. I will definitely be visiting again soon. The only thing I did not like were the bathrooms they were not being kept up at all I went to the two located towards the back and the back of the toilet was missing from one hopefully this will be fixed. But there was toilet paper, running water, and soap so I was good. I definitely recommend checking out the brunch here.

Makeda Fox: The food was sooo good !! I got the shrimp and grits, along with the bread pudding for dessert. Very flavorful, the vibe was amazing. Our waiter Kash was very entertaining, attentive and funny. BEST waiter EVER. 10/10 I recommend!!

JENNii: Good spot for a casual Sunday brunch with friends. It’s right next to the famous ben’s chili bowl on U street. They food and service was good as well. I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Toshia Brown: Very nice vibe, excellent food, no mambo sauce or cornbread muffins but the kale was so scrumptious and tender; seasoned to perfection

Gaelle Claude: The service may be a bit slow but their food is pretty good. I tried their burger and it was amazing! The picture may seem basic but it was bomb! I’ve been there on occasions where I ordered the chicken and waffle, which I would rate 7/10 because the chicken is a bit salty. I loved the cocktail I ordered I believe it’s called a chi-chi colada.. amazing! 10/10. The fish and grits is pretty good, I would rate it 8/10. My friend says the salmon meal was decent but she didn’t enjoy the sugar on her sweet potato fries. Due to slow service over all experience is 7/10

Josephs Boy: I really enjoyed this place & the owner was really nice. I enjoyed the history of the restaurant that was shared. I sat outside it was live but I enjoyed it. The Jerk Pasta was delicious and the mambo wings were the perfect appetizer (u can always tell when people take pride in what they serve). I will definitely be back my next trip to DC.

ajia brown: Ate brunch here and the food and atmosphere was perfect. Black owned restaurant filled with lots of people the line is always LONG

Firefly: what do users think?

Sadhana G: Went to this beautiful place for brunch on a Sunday. The food was a whole new level of excitement! Presentation and quality of the food and the good ambience set the right tone for the weekend. But the only setback was the price. We had an Egg frittata, chicken and waffles and Egg Benedict-crab ( the chef special) and it cost us 70$. A great place to grab finger food in a cute setting !

Garner Marshall: Excellent breakfast spot. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking is pretty scarce around the area. Staff is excellent. Good is delicious. Music is diverse. Location is convenient. This is going to be one of my new favorite breakfast spots.

Mariia Sarlayan: Wonderful food, amazing service, beautiful interior, pleasant vibe. A bit pricey for brunch but worth it. I wish more tables outside had umbrellas for shades but even then the experience was memorable.

Linden Yee: Solid brunch, overall recommend. The eggs on the benedict were pretty undercooked but the flavors were good, and the chicken and waffles were really well seasoned. Service was pretty slow, and the staff seemed to be up against a lot. While the waiter was great, they appeared to be the only one working the entire restaurant.

Khadija Khan: The restaurant has changed a lot since the last time I was here! Really friendly staff and nice ambiance! My favorite was the peanut butter and jelly French toast with the jalapeño honey! It’s an Interesting combo but I really liked it. Our server recommended a really yummy mocktail! The food was a little pricey so I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting again any time soon, but the dishes were innovative and delicious.

idcwhatcoloritis: This had to be an off night cause the place was interesting. The old arcade games were cool and our waitress did her best with a terrible situation. Two of our three meals were barely warm at best and cold at worst. The other was basically frozen salmon from a grocery store on what looked like Couscous but was actually rice some how. They nuked our food in the microwave and brought it back out. The vegan burger both smelled and tasted like fish. Completely inedible. All in all, the food was terrible all around. The only plus to this experience was the owner who took both meals off our bill and bought us a round of shots to make up for it after there POS system went down. We saw at least 10 plates go back to the kitchen while we were there. I don’t think this is normal cause most of the people there seemed like regulars and were super confused by there food. I think it was an off night but I don’t think any of my group will be returning.

Lisa Mayberry: Cute little place for brunch out of the way in a hotel down New Hampshire Street. Outside patio seating is nice for a cool day with the umbrella up.

Founding Farmers DC: what do users think?

Tyler Davis: Quality food and drinks! Stopped by while out and about visiting DC with the family. Short walk from several metro stations. Reserved a table during lunchtime the morning we went and was seated minutes after we showed up. Staff was attentive and my drink was never empty. Reasonable prices for the quality food you get considering the location and love the bar menu. Was recommended this place by several people and it was quickly apparent why. Will definitely visit again next time we are in DC!

Konstantinos Rizakos: We were seated promptly at our reservation time. The hosts and servers were polite and effective, albeit the food and drinks took a while to come out. Everything was very very tasty. The meat in particular. Try the prime rib, and the pork chops - but you may want to ask that they cook less than you usually like because ours were slightly over cooked.

Kimberly Giang: Omg so yummy. Visited DC for the first time and found this restaurant for breakfast. It definitely did not disappoint! It was so yummy we came back the next morning. We reserved a table online and good thing we did because it gets crowded fast. Our table was ready when we arrived and all of the staff was very friendly. Food came out fast. The French toast was so unique and tasted amazing. I loved the Eggs Benedict and how crispy the hash browns were! Definitely would come back!

WooDo Jedi: Good service! Our server was outstanding. (Front hostess and host didn’t make us feel welcome though - we felt like cattle coming through the door). Our orders came our timely and had that flavor profile that spoke of home. We would definitely return here!

Frankie Painter: This is our 3rd time here and WOW, everything we’ve ever ordered has been amazing! We always start with the honey cornbread and this time I got Scallops Meunière with butternut squash risotto and my husband got catfish with grits and green beans. My scallops were cooked to perfection - they cut like butter. The atmosphere here is warm and cozy but lively, although there were way less people this time because of social distancing restrictions. Our waiter was super! We had to show an ID and proof of vaccination. Highly, highly recommend!!

Ying Liang: Friend took me here for dinner when I visited DC. We went on a late weekday evening. Definitely call for reservations ahead of time because it was incredibly crowded. I’m not sure how long we would’ve had to wait if we didn’t plan for that. Our waitress was very nice, food took a while, probably because it was so busy! So plan some time to catch up and relax. It was sort of dark and loud but the restaurant still had nice ambiance. I got the chicken and waffles… and oh my goodness, it was the best fried chicken and the best waffles I’ve ever had. So freaking good. The green beans were crunchy/fresh and the mac and cheese was decent. Not sure what sauce it came with but I was enjoying it! I would probably try to get here for early brunch next time instead. Definitely recommend you stop by if you get the chance.

Goose Prevot: Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking over towards the Lincoln Memorial. The atmosphere was awesome. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that the craft cocktail spirits were distilled by the restaurant. We were able to purchase a bottle to take home as well. The food was very tasty. It is a definite try if you are around the area.

CIRCA at Foggy Bottom: what do users think?

Kelly Crenshaw: We were going to another spot and one of my group said "what about here" as we came out of metro. They had a large party cancel so we were able to get in. Everything was great. Food was fantastic and we all were happy leaving. The mac and cheese might be there best I have ever had. I been thinking about and I can not remember a better bowl of mac and cheese... it was that good.

Jessica R: We decided to come here on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We came for more of a late lunch/early dinner and even though we did not have reservations they still were able to seat us. They did have to seat us in their outdoor area, which was a little chilly but perfectly fine. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The food was great! I got the blackened chicken mango salad and my mom got the barbecue chicken flatbread. Both were very good

Lori Kusterer-Farley: Great dining experience for our family ! Foodie place ! Loved the outdoor tent with heaters. Burger, wings and shrimp salad were amazing! Would definitely return ! Walking distance to a DuPont circle.

Ron Milkowski: Stopped in for a quick drink. Great bartender. Seems like a college crowd. Would definitely be back for dinner. Recommended.

Jessica Morales: This lovely corner is perfect, the menu is not big, but it has a good selection of different options. We had as an appetizer tuna poke nachos, the flavor combination and the fresh tuna was so delicious, and as a entree jambalaya, the spicy was on point and the penne pasta cooked to perfection, my husband ordered a braised short rib, the meat was so tender, the mash potatoes has this smooth texture so perfect. Thank you Michael, great service.

Ted's Bulletin: what do users think?

Arash Tavakoli: I had one of my best dining experiences in this place. The breakfast is easily enough for two people. The staff are super welcoming. Try their tarts and that tastes like heaven. Been very happy with the pancakes and hey they bring you a whole container of coffee. I also really liked that when we ordered one breakfast for two, they put it in two different plates. Thoughtful! So enjoy!

Calvin Thumma: My wife and I went here after a recommendation from a co-worker of mine. The area we are from has a number very good bistro and brunch locations but this meal blew them out of the water. My French toast was by far the best I’ve ever had, the bacon was crisp, potatoes were perfect and the eggs yummy. My wife’s meal was equally delicious, she order eggs, potatoes, toast and sausage. Nicole was our server and made sure every was perfect and never left our drinks get close to empty

Paul LaVigne: Enjoyed the bakery treats we had the other day so much we came back for brunch. Be sure to call ahead for reservations as this is a very busy place with longer wait times. The food was excellent. I do recommend you come and enjoy this place when you’re in town

Jessica Zheng: Pretty good brunch location! For drinks, we just got a caramel iced coffee and a vanilla milkshake. Coffee was okay, didn’t really taste the caramel flavor at all. For our meals- I got the Big Mark Breakfast. The sausage was very tasty but the eggs and hash brown were pretty bland, I ended up using dipping them in ketchup. Boyfriend got the salmon toast, that was surprisingly tasty! I was just weirded about eating raw salmon as my first meal of the day but it caught me by surprise!

Tilak Kalaria: Absolutely spectacular dining experience at Tex’s Bulletin for brunch. Service was awesome in this spot with a great ambience and location in DC. The food was excellent too so much to choose from. Their avacado toast has such great attention to detail. The S’mores tart was special! To better enhance our awesome experience someone kind patron paid for my party of 5’s brunch!! Highly recommend Ted’s!!

Fiorella Hidalgo: Went to get the special cherry blossom dessert during the Cherry Blossom Festival! Smoked Salmon Benedict is one of the best I ever had before! (I like it better than Kramer’s!). It took a while to get seated on a Sunday morning, so try to make a reservation in advance!

Hannah: Okay. I’m excited to review this place as an avid brunch food lover. To begin: we were told that the wait time was 40mjn and given a buzzer. Great. No problem, totally understand. To be fair, we hadn’t made reservations that morning. We wait 50min. They then tell us to wait another 30 minutes. My pregnant and hungry friend got it changed to 20min. Still. Once inside, the vibes were great. Our server was fast and attentive. Huge food portions and cute decor. Definitely not worth the weird waiting times, but will definitely make reservations next time!

Jacob Grice: Breakfast was awesome!!! Staff was super nice, restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was uplifting and calming at the same time. Food was very good and filling , you must try the cheese cake!! Defiantly will be back again!!

The Lafayette: what do users think?

Laura Xu Chen: Second time back in DC for a weekend and we are in Hay Adams again after 10 years. The food never disappoints and in fact everything was superb! Rack of lamb and Crab gnocchi were excellent. You have to order the soufflé! The ambiance was fine dining yet the wait staff are so warm and pleasant! We stayed for a 3 hour dinner and it was a beautiful and elegant experience

Adam Galazka: Amazing restaurant located in the Hay Adams hotel. Reservations were done via Google and confirmed by the restaurant a couple days in advance. Table was ready 45 minutes in advance. Their customer service from initial greeting through the whole dinner was amazing. Very good wine menu and you also have a cocktail menu as well. We tried a mushroom soup and octopus for appetizers. Ordered chicken breast and bronzini for main course. For our dessert we had creme Brule. Everything was amazing and tasty. We will definitely come back.

波。真秀ᶘ oᴥoᶅ: We went to the Lafayette for breakfast. Our waiter, Emmanuel, was extremely friendly, humorous and attentive. The French Toast came with hot maple syrup and the Lafayette Eggs Royale were accompanied by hollandaise sauce, which blended well with the rich salmon and eggs.

Shawni McGraw: We decided on this restaurant to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary because of the spectacular views and ambience. When we found out that the view we were seeking was not available, the manager went above and beyond to get a private tour of just that view. He wanted our day to be special and he did just that. The food was fabulous and everyone is so customer focused. The mood was romantic with the live piano player and decor. I highly recommend this restaurant for your special day.

CRPARK LLC: Fine dining at its best. After graduation dinner with great down town DC vibe. Service was superior and the environment, on point.

Jenovie Yoka: The food was really good and tasty. The prices are also fair but I did not like the service at all. Furthermore, it was simply awful! The servers that had us that night( a man and a lady) were just not professional and welcoming at all. The were working like they were forced to take care of us. We reserved the private room for a special occasion (my sister engagement) and those two servers made us have a very bad experience. Especially the lady when it can to the moment to pay the restaurant bill. In the other hand the meals and the drinks were simply amazing!

Michael O'Reilly: **FUTURE VISITORS: THEY NO LONGER DO ROOFTOP DINING** This is a fantastic restaurant in a fantastic hotel, but they no longer do anything on the roof. The roof is now reserved for events and such, which is truly disappointing. What’s the point in going anymore? The ambience of the restaurant is nice, but not nice enough to justify going. The food is great, but there are better, cheaper options throughout DC. It is all fairly expensive as well, and for what? One of the main reasons to go was for the wonderful view, but if I no longer have access to that, then the Lafayette is no longer a #1 choice.

Stacy: Good but too expensive. The servers were all so friendly and helpful. It was unbelievably fancy. You are clearly paying for the experience.

Eduardo Rukos: Beautiful & very well executed French inspired menu with a lot of highlights. The staff was amazing and the desserts are pieces of art.

Mark Blanchard: Hands down the most beautiful venue in DC (at least when it was up on the top floor through the pandemic). Great food, great view from the top floor, and friendly staff.

Busboys and Poets: what do users think?

Tina Marbury: My group is visiting from Ohio for a conference. The restaurant is pleasingly eclectic in its decor. The atmosphere was quaint. The server was pleasant and smile with authenticity as she assisted the three of us. The food was served hot and was pleasing plated. The taste of the good was amazing. The seasoning of the catfish, greens and cheddar and jalapeño grits was perfect. I could eat here every day.

Beverlyn Salva: Boyfriend and I were looking for breakfast to eat and we choose to go here. Very unique atmosphere. Love how they incorporated the bookstore & dinning together. Although the service we got was not what we expected. We order our drinks then later ordered our entrées. We get our food and both of our food was lukewarm and my fries was COLD (didn’t eat it). In addition, our server never checked on how we are doing and gave us what we requested which was just sugar for our coffee. Manager was walking around doing table touches and we never got touched. Our server then asked “how was everything” after we put our plate aside and decided enough is enough. Maybe if we come back it’ll be different but being our FIRST time eating there, we won’t come back. So if you’re looking for good food with good service this won’t be it or maybe it’ll be different. Who knows.

Erika L Zamora: Loved this place! 1st time in DC and heard this was a great place to eat and shop for books. They were right! Staff was friendly and the energy was Perfect. I had the cheeseburger and some nachos- both were delicious. I tried the cauliflower bites and was pleasantly surprised! I asked our waitress what drink she recommended since I liked sweet drinks. She brought over a DC water and I ended up having 3. Bought some postcards, stickers, a jigsaw puzzle and a book. Would definitely visit again!

Destinee Douglas: This was a really nice place ! As you wait too can check out their book store . Had so many different wonderful and colorful books. We sat at the bar so we wouldn’t have to wait . We had ebony as our waitress. She was very sweet . As you can see in the photos there are two pics of soup. Norge the same ( wild rice vegetable soup) but one is a cup and one is a bowl! If you get the bowl you’ll likely be full before you even get your entree. But the soup was delicious and flavorful ! I definitely recommend that. Then I ordered the shrimp and grits ! Absolutely delicious. & I love how they has asparagus in it . Never had shrimp and grits with that in it. The shrimp were big & it was a nice portion . My friend got the chicken and shrimp pasta . It was kind of spicy but good as well! We both ordered their orange Juice too and you definitely want to because it’s really fresh. It gets made right in front of your eyes with a machine they have at the bar . Literally squeezes the oranges 😆 My cousin ordered a burger . Didn’t get a chance to take a pic but it was good . Last but not least we topped it off with their desert . A banana pudding I think with ice cream. It was good 😩 we were stuffed ! Lol

Peter Schwarzenbach: Good spot for a cozy breakfast. Prices are a bit steeper than expected but friendly wait staff and prompt courteous attention was always offered. My eggs where a tad overcooked but by no means bad. Would recommend for a unique and tasty experience

Aditi Rajvanshi: This place has amazing fresh food available at an affordable price. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well! Would definitely recommend if you love flavorful breakfast.

Lincoln: what do users think?

byron subero: This restaurant was great! The maitre d was very nice and informative about the restaurant and the art work. Food was delicious and the drinks was amazing. The peach moonshine was fantastic. Definitely need to go back to try their brunch.

Faith Mitchell: Enjoyed brunch at Lincoln yesterday morning. Loved the vibes as the restaurant is cute and they play good music. It is very clean and I felt comfortable enjoying a meal here. The menu had a lot of options and $50 for bottomless mimosas and food is a great deal. Definitely had some unique flavor combinations that we surprisingly enjoyed. The service was a bit slow as we waited for awhile to be served and didn’t get checked on as much as we would have liked. However, everyone was nice including the manager and, when we did get a server, we were well taken care of. Would go back.

Mikayla Ramirez: Nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Great food. Decent price.

Nonie Fields: My friend and I stopped by the Lincoln yesterday for lunch. The food was amazing and the ambiance and decor was aesthetically pleasing. Our server Brandy took great care of us she made our experience a million times better. I definitely will be back to try the dinner & brunch menu!

Bobby A: Got there for "Happy Hour". They have a wonderful appetizer selection as well as wines, beers, and cocktails. We enjoyed glasses of wine, beer. And a couple of scotches! The deli platter was good as was the fish taco. The romaine ceaser was really tops! Excellent waiter though they were busy. We sat outside but the inside is very nice. Also, clean restroom. Will come back.

Madison Garcia: I went to Lincoln last Sunday for their Pride brunch with a group of girlfriends and had such a fun time! The bartender, Nico, served us and gave us the best experience. The drinks were great and he was so fun and friendly. The food was delicious and the service made our time there even better. I will definitely be going back soon!

Patrick Baber: Delicious brunch and incredible staff. Highly recommend. Cool vibe and decor as well.

All Day by Kramers: what do users think?

Jenna DeFosse: This was my first time at Kramers to eat in many many years. The food was good! I remember not liking the food as much last time (maybe 10 years ago?). I came for brunch on a Sunday with a couple of friends at 1:00pm. I reserved online and it said only outdoor seating was available. But when we got there, they said anywhere that had available seating was open. We found three seats at the bar—lucky to sit inside since it was February and cold that day!! I found it a little weird that I reserved a spot but it ended up you were able to sit anywhere that was available. Everyone liked what they ordered. A meal that had fries had old bay on it. I’d definitely want to come back on a date or at a leas busy time. The place was packed. The bookstore was great as usual just super busy the day I was there!

Deborah Williams: Perfect brunch place in DC near metro station. Lovely place cozy and green. Lovers of plants you will love it. Very Delicious food. Great customer service ! Definitely going there again for another brunch

Alysha Muth: Delicious drinks, great food. The arugula salad was so good. Spicy bloody Mary, and nice outdoor seating

Stephanie Corte: We had a decent experience at All Day. The food was okay but not necessarily amazing or unique. The breakfast potatoes were unseasoned and stale with some pieces completely burnt. The bacon and ham were the best tasting parts. It was strange that each of the plates seemed to have been made by different cooks, since the eggs and potatoes were very different from the other plate. For example, one plate had green onions on the eggs and white onions in the potatoes while the other plate did not. The overall vibe, service, and seating outdoors is what makes this an enjoyable place to eat at.

Hanna Foreman: Personally I love the bookstore out front. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I buy most of my books in Washington there. However, do yourself a favor and avoid the brunch here. The service was slow and the servers were not friendly. I ordered a coffee and eggs Benedict. The coffee was lukewarm and served in thin mugs rather than thick diner mugs. The eggs Benedict wasn’t warm and it would’ve been nice to have a side of potatoes instead of a wet salad with an extremely sour dressing. You’re much better off gambling on the line at le diplomate or going somewhere else in the neighborhood.

Anastasia Sarmakeeva: Portions are good, but the dishes was dirty. My berries definitely wasn’t fresh in granola. Maybe if you eating meat sandwiches and burgers are better. But i didn’t have luck. Atmosphere and the place is great though.

Josh Gishi: All Day by Kramer’s has become a staple for my wife and I. Whether if you’re craving breakfast food, a burger, salad, they have it. I love the Kramer’s Breakfast plate, the burger, chicken and waffles, and most recently the Cubano sandwich. The Cubano was so yummy. I think there are better Cubanos in DC, but it was an amazing sandwich nonetheless. Ive always left satisfied and the wait staff is always so pleasant and friendly.

Kayla Cooley: Amazing! We had the Cubano sandwich and it was more than enough for two people. The bookstore was amazing and we had a blast browsing

Joel Hames: It was solidly okay. Service was great. I had the steak and fries (substitute salad because the fries have gluten), and it was all….just okay. Steak wasn’t a particularly pleasant cut, and the cook on it was off. Salad was fine. Wine was good. Likely not heading back.

Laurie Saunders: Enjoyed Sunday brunch and music. The whole experience was wonderful. Creative food pairings we would never tried on our own. Last day for the current band. Hoping they will be back soon. Such a talented bunch. 🎶

Misty L. Smith: So this is Georgia Browns in Washington DC!!!! It is a must try when visiting Washington, the food, decor, atmosphere and service professionals were excellent! Johnathon was our server and was terrific!! Now the food was incredible, we ordered 4 entrees, the lamb chops, Devil shrimp, country friend steak and Crab cakes, let me tell you the food was amazing!!! The jalapeño corn was amazing!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

St. Regis Bar: what do users think?

Aditya Karandikar: Drinks are good and they have some food as well. The ambiance is as one would expect at the St. Regis. Service is fine, no wow factor, and overall it’s a nice place for a drink and snack on the pricier side of things.

David Salcido: The ambiance is great but it was a little weird having a bunch of dogs in such a small place and the service was bad. Getting a seat is very difficult on a Friday night since it is so small. The service at the bar could have been better. We sat for a good 30 minutes in between drinks before we could get the bartender to come back. One of them was just doing dishes the whole time which was awkward.

Dennis Mema: Drinks were delicious, and charcuterie board was excellent, but was disappointed in the simplicity of our meals. Ordered sandwiches costing an average of $25 and got the same sandwich, if not worse, that I could order for a third the price at a dive bar down the street.

Robert Cardoni: Comfortable setting for drinks .. bring the checkbook - prices are high!

S Z: Great and delicious food, friendly service!

Surang Sa: The best bar ever I love to hangout with the people and lovely bartenders, she super nice and friendly with good drink I never ever had. I alway have a great time with this bar.

Susan FG: Bar and hotel are beautiful, service and drinks are fantastic as in previous visits. The bartender, Diego is awesome!

Sarah Gray: Love that they have clever non-alcoholic cocktails!

Boundary Stone: what do users think?

Mỹ Phan: The best customer service experience since Covid started! I got the Honey Hot Chicken for my entrée, which was amazing. As for my drink, I’m pretty specific as to what I like. I asked for the sweetest drink on the menu and my waitress debated with the bartender to create the best drink that fitted me perfectly. Highly recommend this spot!!

Michael Peterson: A decent restaurant bar. We arrived for brunch and their were ample seating. The mimosas came in a regular glass cup. The taste might have been better if it were served in a traditional flute. Had the deviled eggs which were good, but nothing to rave about. The hot honey chicky benny was delectable!

Austin Federau: This pub had a nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. We tried the Irish Coffee, which was not to our liking. The hot chicken sandwich was good. Overall, the bar had a welcoming vibe but the food and drinks we tried weren’t to our liking. Would come here again.

Paul Donaldson: Bounty Stone is a charming neighborhood bar that serves good food and great service. My son had a steak and I had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. Eat inside or outside on the front patio.

Scott Jordan: They have impeccable service, an equally impeccable spirits selection. Kayla our was amazing and made my trip to DC worth it. The food and the drinks were on point. If you are in NW DC check it out. It is well worth the trip.

Kenny Myers: Excellent burger and pretty good beer selection! Also had a fantastic peach cobbler for dessert last time I went. Update: Brunch here is also really really good! Had the honey hot serial Benny and the cinnamon roll was delicious.

Brittany M: Love this place! Great food, bartenders are cool. Hubby and I got free mimosas with our entree. One of the best low key brunch spots in DC
