BestWorld Supermarket: what do users think?

Nancy Cosner: Super convenient. Easy in and out. Certainly no shortage of product here. Enjoyed the varied products available. Live local and a super easy walk to this bodega.

MY WELLNESS WORLD WITH WELLNESSLADYK.: I went to this Super Market last weekend I was so happy to find guanabana there. They had a variety of Latin products that I use. The cashier was so thoughtful and pleasant. I will be back to get more items. What a blessing. Before going I called and went to another Latin Mkt not a good experience. At Best World, it was a good experience.

Victoria: Great selection of international condiments, spices, pantry staples. Big dried chile selection.

Anna Muda: Good products from all over the world. Can find kimchi and many different Mexican ingredients.

Josee Molavi: Loved the selection of Asian and Latin American pantry items, including my favorite spicy 🌶 instant noodles! The produce I got (squash, blueberries, tomatoes) did not last and didn’t seem fresh. but I’d go back for the noodles or to try some Latin American pastries

Stacy K: I would have given them 2 stars but the cashiers and other staff are very nice and helpful. They have a variety of food options from different places around the world. Recently went and their rice and pancake bags had a whole lot of bugs in them. A friend of mine accidentally bought a rotten chicken leg. I would go just check the items very carefully.

Best Buy: what do users think?

Kiffa Shirley: Excellent service, clean store, full of big screen TVs ready for Christmas shoppers. If you’ve not been to the Columbia Heights Best Buy, is so convenient to the metro, and other shopping, and it put me in the Christmas Spirit.

Ricardo Matheus: So I walk in to shop for some apple products and I’m not sure if it is because of covid or what but there’s only like 2 people working there. I’m mostly disappointed in how no one tries to help. Not even to tell me to wait a sec because they are busy and they’ll be with me shortly. Just nothing. Not even sure they noticed I was there. Waited and walked around trying to get someone to get me the products I wanted to purchase but I mean, its 2022 I should have known better that service in the US is awful and should have just bought them online. I love Best Buy but definitely never buying anything in person again there. Shout out to the guy at the door, he was very friendly

Lady Elexia: I love best buy as a rule, no matter where I find them. The columbia heights location is nice, but it is a bit on the small side. While I could find the basics, their selection of new items was a bit lack lusture. Customer service is always perfect, at least in my experiences.

Mlungisi Theodere Cade-Mnisi: Best Buy Columbia Heights was awesome!!! I had been saving up for a new laptop that I need to purchase for school and had saw an amazing special that best Buy Columbia Heights was running for Quality Laptops on a budget! Domane whom is an employee of Best Buy Columbia Heights was so so helpful, knowledgeable and kind and gentle! He rocks!!! 5 stars for Domane! I ended up purchasing the HP laptop that is 17". It runs smoothly and has been the perfect choice for Online School. I also purchased the Microsoft 365 Home Version which was a great investment too. Also I paid to be a TotalTech Member. The TotalTech Membership

Alexis Smith: horrible customer service. I wandered around looking for an employee to ask for help and they all ignored me. Finally someone answered and she said she’d send someone to the home theater section to help me but of course, no one was there. The Best Buy in Tysons is so much accommodating and friendly. If you want a good experience, just avoid this place

Dawn Develin: Mack was amazing. He sat with me patiently and help me with my phone purchase. I very confused and not very savvy with technology and he treated me with respect and help me through every step without getting frustrated. Overall everybody at Best buy has been phenomenal but he went above and beyond.

John Newman: Nobody asked if I needed help. I finally left and ordered what I needed from Amazon. Horrible location. Thugs and hoodlums everywhere. The whole place reeks of pot smoke. Frightening place. There was a "security guard" (I use that term lightly) sitting on level 2 eating potato chips staring at his phone. I was afraid I would be mugged or shot at any time. Avoid at all costs.

Best Buy: what do users think?

Hum Singhum: I needed some guidance in purchasing wireless earphones. I was provided prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable assistance by Milton S. Although the product I ultimately ended up purchasing is available through several stores in town, after the assistance provided by Milton, I can’t not imagine having purchased it anywhere else. He answered my questions thoroughly and offered to research some more esoteric technical questions I had. What an impressive gentleman! If I had a store, I would hire this guy in a second… And no I don’t know him and I’d never met him before. He really restored my confidence in the ability of resellers like Best Buy to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Congrats to Best Buy in Tysons Corner for having the good judgment to hire such smart and helpful people. I know which store I will be going to for my next product purchase of this type.

Javad Ghandi: Please Please send this sales guy (Brian ) to training to learn how to speak with customers . He is at computer department and he shows attitude to us . The funny thing is he told me “ I have been here for year and a half !!! “ . Guess what Brian , you wont last long with the terrible customer service !!!

Brad Parker: We received really excellent and knowledgeable information and guidance from Chandler when we came in on Memorial Day weekend to replace the appliances for our kitchen. He had great command of the various appliances and helped us put together a package that saved us a significant amount of money while getting the quality and features we were looking for. Three weeks now into our purchase we are very satisfied. Best Buy free delivery and installation and the additional warranty benefits through our total tech membership also added real value to our purchase. Brad & Penha Vienna VA

Jon Mojarro: Katherine was great! Very kind and respectful. Helped me with my checkout items as well as an online order. She needs a promotion with those customer service skills. 6/5 stars.

Viktor Nebrowski: What is happening best buy? Is this a grab your own merchandise? Nobody ask to help. They were just talking to each other.

Safeway: what do users think?

G C: Interesting, in city, miniature, Safeway. The employees are friendly, the self checkout is clean and quick, the store is amazingly well laid out. Even though less than half the size of the usual store I found all I needed, fast.

Sunni Ting: Stocking is okay. It’s not uncommon for a particular item that I am looking for to be out of stock, but it’s also not chronic. Hours are convenient. Unfortunately, I feel that some cashiers can be incredibly rude depending on their mood. I’m in my 30s (f/Asian), but the way they have spoken to me on several occasions is as if they were a teacher and I were a misbehaving high school student (e.g., reprimanding me for not putting items very specifically where they thought I should during self check-out even though I put them in a designated weighing area and I purposely avoid the back area because I don’t want to forget them; being nasty when I had a question about a coupon and openly complaining that I was making more work for them, arguing the coupon didn’t apply when it clearly did, and saying I was holding up the line when the store was not busy and had many other checkout lanes and self-checkout stations open(Ana)). I have also had perfectly nice cashiers, but the multiple instances of rude and boarder-line demeaning behavior make me weary during check-out, and I avoid the store if I can buy what I am looking for elsewhere.
Response: Hello Sunni, We're sorry to hear of your recent experience with our Washington DC store. We strive to provide excellent service and this is not the impression we would like to leave you with. We would like the opportunity to further address your concerns. At your earliest convenience, please chat with us using the Contact US link at the bottom of our site or through our online chat system. We hope to hear from you soon.

Alani Willis: Goodafternoon everyone it is 4/25/22 i gave this business a 5 based on one person and her name is Charmaine. Kudos for your wonderful customer service and your attention to my needs because at that time YOU were going in another direction in the store however I Apologized for interrupting you, you rushed right over and helped me OUT! (I am the 1 that needed the buttermilk) but I wanted to say you to me are a great asset to this Safeway and kudos for the people that may encounter you everyday. THANK YOU, Alani

Andy Garrett: Small but convenient which you pay a premium for some things. Did not have a bakery or other amenities. Clean and well stocked.

Kevin McDonnell: This is the worst Safeway I have ever been to. You do not want to complain about anything as your concerns will be dismissed and you will be accosted by the management and employees. After waiting for one to appear, I asked the deli worker if they had imported Swiss cheese - the worker had to bring in a co-worker to translate my question. I never got an answer to my question. When I asked for thin slices separated by paper, I was handed a mess of paper with completely inconsistently cut slices which were thick at one end shaved off into paper thin at the other end. And that was after I physically demonstrated how I would like them stacked. The worker then proceeded to have a conversation in another language with Jorge about something obviously funny to them both. When another apparent deli worker came to the counter he expressed his indignation that I should be dissatisfied and proceeded to instruct me how to express my dissatisfaction. He then summoned a so-called manager who instructed the deli workers not to service me further and then called the police on me. At no time did I raise my voice, gesticulate in inordinate fashion, swear or grimace. This so-called manager pulled the nuclear option for making a perfectly legitimate complaint. A call to their corporate office resulted in being hung up on, the 1st time and I await a call back from them based on a 2nd call, moments later. I urge anyone reading this to complain vociferously to the management at this location in order to teach them to accept complaints like customer service professionals. The so-called manager in question should NOT be allowed to interact with customers - no one else should have to deal with an experience like that. The deli worker should be able to speak fluent English and co-workers should be taught to mind their own business, not take sides and not to eyeball customers in a menacing way. After leaving the store, one employee came out to stand with an associate from the liquor store across the street and talked about how he would don sunglasses and use a machete to "take care" of the incident. Wonderful hiring practices, Safeway - you really nailed it at this location - NOT!

Nick B: This store is nicknamed the soviet Safeway for a reason. They simply don’t seem to restock the shelves during the day, often leaving the shelves empty. It is not uncommon for me to run to the store looking for a few things and end up walking out with none of them.
Response: We apologize for not having our shelves well-stocked. We would like to further address your concerns to our Proper Teams for review and improvement. Please chat with us on our site or reach us through our Contact Us page to learn more and make things right! Thanks, Nick.

pablo menz: The place is really pack with everything like others Safeway even although is smaller, my only issue in my visit it was the heat, this locatiosn is extremely cold! I was able to see the steam of my breath it was nuts! I saw the cashier shacking while goving me the receipt, I hope the do something about it.
Response: Thank you for the feedback, we have shared this with our Leadership Team!

Best Buy: what do users think?

Matthew Schumacher: Best Buy is great as everybody who has ever gone to one knows. We stopped in to Best Buy to price some washers and dryers for our new home. They have fair pricing and what is even better is that they have a 4 week turn around time for the LG washer and dryer we are interested in. From what I hear from others, delivery for a washer and dryer is extremely delayed from most other companies. Having a 4 week turn around time is all the more reason for us to purchase our LG washer and dryer from Beat Buy.

Michael Patrick: Good experience today when buying products in store while waiting for an online order to be fulfilled. The product I ordered online was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. I was greeted by staff when entering and exiting. The store was clean and organized. The staff at checkout were fast and polite.

Caitlin DePorter: Do not get a car radio from here. The $500 jvc radio I got stopped working after several months of having it. I then had to get on a waitlist that was several months long before they could “fix” it. Well finally the car is brought in and they say they don’t see anything wrong and reboot it and send me on my way and suggest it may be a phone issue. I got the managers card in case the radio wasn’t actually fixed. The issue has persisted even after getting a new phone and they now refuse to help since I am outside of the one year warranty, even though they didn’t fix it to begin with when I brought it in within the one year. Complete waste of my money and now I have a non functioning radio Edit: Best Buy told me to do a software update but there’s no software update available for this model. They are clueless and I wish I had gotten it somewhere else.

Ellen Savage: Placed an order for curbside pickup. Text telling me my order was ready did not contain instructions on where to park. I figured out pickup orders had to be picked up from parking garage, which is a paid garage. Waited 28 minutes for my order to be brought out, then when leaving garage I had to pay $3 for parking because I was in garage for more than 15 minutes. Horrible experience.

Lyn G: Mohammed was amazing in helping us set up our new phone and made sure we understood the entire process and answered all of our questions. This is refreshing to have such amazing customer service which seems so rare lately. Great job Mohammed !!!

Carla Dunlap: I recently purchased a elliptical fitness machine. Best Buy delivered it and assembled. I am so happy with my investment. The service was excellent.

Best Buy: what do users think?

Marko Mitic: Alright, I’ll be honest and straightforward. My 1* review is based on what kind of service is happening in store, not on product itself. First I was helped from tall gentleman, he was kind, helpful, good listener and respected my opinion! He will remember me :”He compliment my hairstyle also”. He redirected me to older gentlemen which lately disappeared and I was finishing with third guy who talk-so-much-and-never-stop-to-talk. He tried to sell me same lap top but brand new (I asked for brand new). After back and forward I said how they told me they have it on stock and I was waiting another 10min to find that one. Very shady, but okay, he tried. Listen, I am in store to purchase laptop, I asked simple questions, do not give me story “we are not on commission” and do not try to sell me warranty 10 times. LITERALLY 10 times. I am not kidding. Also he said I CAN NOT settle up monthly payment if I do not have Best Buy credit card and I need to apply for one. I literally was in store 1 h. At the end I got my credit card which I didn’t wanted. Not necessarily need it. He was laying to me and doing shady business. I am not purchasing nothing with that one anymore. So he did 2 things today, lost a customer because stupid cc and was lying there doing shady business and providing very poor and slow service. And make me to not use that card never in my life because interest on it🤷‍♂️ Y’all take care of your costumers and train your staff better. Because this is shame!

K M: Disgusting customer service! I wish I could give them zero stars. Today I dealt with manager Mr Fathim, very disrespectful. Walked away from me when I had an appointment for a Samsung device repair, I get to the store and I’m being told they don’t provide that service. I’m being told I’m too loud and he refuses to give me his last name. Also geek squad member Asaf, same scenario, unhelpful, rude, can’t even greet me and refuses to give me his last name. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Please take your money to a different store. Preferably where the managers have manners and don’t disregard their customers.

Noor Ayoob: Great deals they have now . BestBuy is the best place for everyone now , we all need Technology in our life and this is the right place to go . Also if you are a gamer or vlogger you can get all your deals and supplies from here . Great customer service definitely coming back soon a lot of things I need to buy . Come on best buy give me a good deal on Pixel3 please this is the phone I want to buy. Think about it and let me know. Keep up the great work .

Subrina W: Ammanique was great! Extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about products at Best Buy. Took us immediately to what we were looking to find in the huge Best Buy store and helped us with product selection.

Henok Garedew (Henny breezy): I like this Best Buy so much, they have everything I need for same day pickup.Very helpful staff. I recommend it.

Kev- keepingitreal: Great atmosphere! Staff was helpful and friendly! Best Buy offer a wide variety of electronics, accessories and appliances. If you buy any equipment from Best Buy, the Geek Squad can help you with installation in your vehicle and or in your home.

rachel braley: I have been trying to get in contact with somebody from this store for over a week to no avail. All calls are directed to the call center, which would be fine, except no one at the call center knows how to transfer me to the store line except maybe 1 out of every 12 people. Not only has the call center been unable to help me with what I need (which is why I need to get in contact with someone from the actual store) they have placed me on the call back list probably 5 times in the last week and a half and I haven’t gotten a single call back. ONE person knew how to transfer me to the store line but when I called I was sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail with my information on the ACTUAL store line and never heard anything back. I cannot go into the actual store because I now live three hours away, so getting in touch with someone over the phone is really my only option. However actually getting someone on the phone seems to be impossible so I really don’t know what to do at this point. The call center itself has been a bit of a nightmare. They keep trying to find my “Best Buy account” except I don’t have one but they think if they look up my phone number for the 1,000th time it will suddenly magically appear. Talking to the call center makes me feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone with how many times I’ve had to tell them I DONT HAVE A BEST BUY ACCOUNT. And one person hung up on me when they were only able to answer my questions with “I don’t know.” Honestly ridiculous. I’m currently looking into buying a new computer and a new TV but it won’t be at Best Buy. I will be taking my business elsewhere due to how much trouble I’ve had to go through. It shouldn’t be this hard to talk to somebody in the store.

Dottie “Dottie” Mount: My Best Buy experiences have been hit or miss, but this location has removed any hesitation that I had about Best Buy. The young man that helped me, Ezra, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and made sure I got what I needed. I was very confused about what laptop to purchase based on my needs, and Ezra cleared it all up! He stayed with me, shopped on BestBuy.com until I found what I wanted. His customer service skills are exceptional and made me feel like I was the only customer. His follow thru and patience are worth the commute to this location! Thank you!!!

Houston: Yesterday, I had a great interaction in the elcectronics (PC/Laptop) section of the Best Buy in Potomac Yard (Alexandria VA). I was informed of products, directed to the appropriate section, and escorted to the cashiers counteres by Jefferey. He was a pleasure to be around and was very informative, sharp, and gave suggestions for a proper purchase. I left the store feeling comfortable with my purchase and will go back for further business. Thank you Jefferey!

John Velasco: I bought a car radio for my Sentra and this was the only Best Buy in the area that had appointments available. Herman from the Car Audio install bay gave me all the instructions where to go and what to expect the day before, including how long it would take. They estimated 2:30 - 3 hours, which was a little long, but ultimately not a problem because he and Gregg were super thorough with the installation. I hung out with my laptop and worked in the Magnolia Theatre Room inside the Best Buy, while on the guest WiFi, with no problems. When the job was completed, Gregg gave me a walkthrough and instructions on basic usage, which I appreciated. If you’re considering any car audio work, these guys here know their stuff, I highly recommend them!

Rello Dmv: This location is convenient coming from wheaton station. They have most electronics and electronics accessories in store or available to pick up your online order. No ps5 in stock i checked. Clean store overall with nice staff and affordable prices on nice equipment. Ps. They got people watching everywhere like you in there tryna steal something or that might just be what happens when a black male enters the store

Hana Market: what do users think?

Nils Hünerfürst: A little journey to Japan. When you feel some needs to shop into the world of japanese groceries then you have to visit Hana Market. After 1pm they sell fresh Onigiri. And mostly you will find all of the traditional japanese sweets like Baumkuchen and Rice Cakes. Really love this place.

Kali Smith: Very small store but has all the Japanese cooking staples needed for your kitchen. Very excited to see that there was bottled milk tea and some desserts. They also sell onigiri, but not on Wednesdays.

Hanna Foreman: Friendly owner and well curated store. Love coming here to pick up Japanese and Korean groceries. The instant ramen selection is great with Korean and Japanese options. Great selection of Japanese sauces, noodles, and seasonings. Snack aisle is always full of delicious surprises and I always walk out with something unexpected. Highly recommend if you’re looking for Japanese and Korean products in Washington.

Jennifer Sawyer: I’ve been going since they first opened many years ago. They have always been friendly and always stocked. I love the selection and go once a month to stock up on my favorites. From Matcha to Japanese food novelty items. It’s your one stop shop when you aren’t able to travel to NJ to the nearest large Japanese Supermarket.

Stephanie G: A tiny treasure! Small but packed to the brim with all you could need to make ramen, dashi, udon, etc plus sweets and produce. Staff is sweet and helpful.

Andrea Bielli: A small store full of good original Japanese products.Great selection of noodles and rice crackers but is it possible to find a lot of different things from confectionery, frozen dishes and fresh vegetables. A must for having a slice of Japan experience in DC.

David Yip: Really small store but packed with most of the basic essentials without having to go to a bigger store. Needed my instant noodles and Onigiri fix and I found it in this store. Will try their Japanese style breads the next time. Only 8 persons allowed in the store and mask on, read the posted sign.

Vijay Sookdeo: This is the only Asian grocery store in the DC area where you can find certain Japanese products. It’s small, but well stocked, and the staff is very friendly. Do get some of the rice balls when they have them.

Best Buy: what do users think?

rodger smith: Most of the store is empty shelves. They have music playing that is really inappropriate. My wife was getting upset over the lyrics including blatant cursing. Highly bad look for a family retail store. The staff were nonexistent, but the one I did wonder by had a short line and seemed flustered and unprofessional. I even wondered by a pallet with palletjack they left out. This place is not a good look for bestbuy. Would not recommend. Edit: the store is also dusty. The powerstrips are overpriced. There did not seem to be a selection of reasonably priced ones, just the ones pictured.

James Ulrich: truly horrible service. having spent $40K on equipment through magnolia, i now find it impossible to get anyone to answer a phone when i need service with the equipment. so i went into the Best Buy store where we bought it and was kept waiting over an hour only to be told that no one could take 5 minutes to schedule a service appointment for me. they are a truly horrible chain with no service or customer regard whatsoever. go instead to a locally owned and operated store with a good service reputation for high-end AV equipment. avoid best buy. 4 years ago when we bought our setup with them, Magnolia AV was a “store within a store” manned by its own staff with its own service agreements. their business cards said “magnoliaav.com”. we were happy with the level of service. Now however it’s apparently just a booth manned by the same Best Buy staff as work the rest of the floor, and service has crumbled.

Candice Jones: Absolutely terrible service. First, it took forever to get help. No one was on the floor, and I asked around until finally someone was called from the back. Then, I placed an order and was assured that the item I wanted was in stock and would be delivered to my home TODAY. Well, later after spending a substantial amount of money and waiting all day for the item, I was told that the item was out of stock and no additional delivery time was provided. But that was my second call. During the first call, I waited on hold for nearly 20 minutes, only to unceremoniously be dumped back into the queue without explanation. Luckily, on the second call, I encountered a super helpful professional who cancelled my order. Very disappointed in Best Buy.

Abou Sif Ghnyah: Please pay attention to customer care. Yesterday I was waiting for nearly one hour, till the store came to closing time and I was not served till next day Regards Abusif Ghnyah

J T: Don’t do it! I used the Magnolia services; they over promise and under deliver. When complaining, I asked to speak with a Manager. My Sales Rep, AJ, purposely said that the Manager will not call you—that’s not what they do. Seriously? I called the Store Manager and no return call. I guess he is right. I don’t have my stuff but they have been fully paid. Go with Unparalleled Audio!

Mario Gomez: Best buy is not really the best store, may perhaps micro center in rockville md, or target store

Anthony Scott: The shopping experience was nice! The store was clean and easy to shop. They had everything that I was looking for. The prices were decent (on par with other stores in the area). The check out took a little long, but other than that, I will be back to shop again.

Matthew Fauske: Also is always great. That being said this location isn’t my favorite but it is the only in DC. I prefer the nearby VA locations with a bit cheaper prices but Aldi is always worth the trip for value. Bring your own bags and a quarter for the cart too!

Mary Lewis: Can we talk about there never being any bags at this location? Are we cutting cost? Trying to reach a budget? Is there a shortage? It’s the questions on everyone’s mind!…. Not only that, but carts are equally never available! Service has slightly improved here, CLEARLY under new management! However cashiers are still very chatty! And seemed upset when you have more than 15 items? Can we talk about this with the team? The more items? The more this impacts your labor cost in a great way! Perhaps a coaching is needed So that they can raise the bar? Remember as cashiers? You are the last person a guest sees and their final impression of the Brand! Seems like toxic culture here. Hopefully this feedback helps to improve! I’ll try the NW location to see if my experience improves

Kev- keepingitreal: This ALDI store offers a verity of Wine, Food, Produce, Dairy Products and Home Goods at Affordable Price. Awesome Atmosphere with Friendly Staff.

Mike Snyder: One of my better Aldi experiences. I needed an Aldi that is convenient between the office and home. I discovered this location and was very impressed with the selection, stocked shelves, and cleanliness.

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?

Win Anderson: This great review is solely because of the wonderful barista at the coffee shop. I was in town for a conference and went to whole foods three days in a row for coffee in the morning. Each day Tom provided wonderful coffee and friendly service. He is polite and personable and efficient. (This was in stark contrast to some of the register checkout clerks, who were downright rude.). The police officers were very friendly!

Cyndy Nguyen: I came here for the coffee bar and had a wonderful experience. The barista, Tom, was friendly and helpful. He gave me some information about the decaf coffee (doesn’t contain any chemicals). He gave me a sample of one of their green smoothies and made me a delicious brown butter cookie latte. I’ll come back for the great customer service.
Response: We truly appreciate you sharing your feedback with us, Cyndy. We are thrilled to hear of the amazing experience you received at the Foggy Bottom store, and will gladly share your feedback with the appropriate leadership so Tom can get the kudos they deserve!

Barry Bub: I am usually willing to pay more at a Whole Foods market because I generally enjoy the shopping experience there. This particular store not, for a number of reasons. Here’s one. When I asked the checkout person, politely, to tape the lid of the soup container to prevent it coming off - I had a long walk home - she yelled at me and stormed off. She was replaced by male who told me they no no longer tape or rubber band lids. I guess the few seconds it takes to do so eats into their profits. And what has happened to customer service? I agree with the previous reviewer, it’s a management or corporate problem.
Response: We're so sorry you were disappointed on your recent visit, Barry. Please visit http://wfm.com/help to send us further details and our team would be happy to review your feedback.

Melissa Colón: I love stopping by the coffee bar for my daily fix. My drink is always perfectly made and the conversation is great! I’m hoping that eventually the hot bar breakfast will work its way back up to how great it was pre-pandemic.
Response: We're pleased to hear you enjoy our coffee bar, Melissa. Thank you for shopping with us!

Caroline McGuire: Tom makes the best smoothies at the coffee & smoothie bar! The whole staff is amazing and the store is always so well organized. Cannot recommend this spot enough!
Response: We appreciate your support, Caroline. We are delighted to hear how great your experience was and we hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Natalia Delgado: Had a really had experience at this location. We were accused of stealing by the manager just because we had our own cart with groceries from trader joes. The grocery store is 15 minutes from where we live and we go walking so we have no other option than to go to both stores in one trip. He made us feel very uncomfortable the whole time and followed us throughout the store. Another person had their own cart and was putting groceries in there but it didn’t seem like he said anything to them while we had our whole foods items in a separate basket. He approached again at checkout (after making it very obvious that he was talking about us with another employee) and said we couldn’t bring our own cart because “it confuses the employees”. I explained that we had a receipt for the groceries we had in our cart but he didn’t seen to care. We don’t have the luxury of a car or leaving nearby the store and we had never had any problems with going to two stores in one trip with our cart.
Response: We're so sorry you were disappointed with your recent visit, Natalia. Please visit http://wfm.com/help to send us further details and our team would be happy to review your feedback.

Best Buy: what do users think?

Christopher S. Penn: This location is ridiculous. I make purchases from Best Buy regularly for my audio video company. I usually have very pleasant experiences with them. I’ve never been treated so rudely anywhere as I was at this location. I placed an order for pick up and got there 5 mins before they close (6:55 pm) to pick up for a job in the morning that I have to be at around 7am. They said come back tomorrow but they don’t open until 11 am. What kind of hours are 11-7 anyway. The employee rudely told me I could not enter and would not help me pick up the order which was already paid for online. There’s a store full of people and the doors are not supposed to be locked until 7. When I asked to speak to the manager one of the store cops or security or whatever he was tried to intimidate me and said they were closed and that doors lock at 7 even though it was 6:59 and I already been arguing with one of the employees for 5 mins. I’m literally canceling my company account with Best Buy. We order 6 figures in material from them quarterly. After an experience like that they will never see a dime of my money again.

Subhash Paradkar: Best Buy made several mistakes in filling request for appliances, sent wrong appliances and wrong installer. Mr. Johnston finally helped resolve the issue. Took 3 months to get right appliances and Quality installation with some people with negative and rude attitude. LG appliances are good. Best Buy needs change business model otherwise they will loose good customers. Thanks.

Junbin Xian: We went out for Black Friday shopping, but deals wasn’t really good from opinion.

Dave Kausch: Amazingly helpful associates. Whether you are doing a quick fly by to grab a new gadget. Or have questions about services that Best Buy has. Way to go blue team!

M Pecoraro: Bought appliances and got the total tech so they would take away the old ones. I have been able to bring in two laptops which were worked on for free. Not a bad deal.

Jerold Stapp: Great service I was in and out in under 20 minutes. With a brand new TV and a date for them to install everything. Great group of employees would recommend!

Debbie Klein: Purchased Apple tablet for grandaughter. The price was lowest around, ( they match prices of local merchants ) plus they gave 140$ trade in for the old tablet. Yippie...... Quick and fast for pick-up with very tech savy associate having me in and out in less then 10 minutes. Perfecto!!!

Amelia Faraci: Had an appointment for a site survey. Waited and waited and waited and they never showed up. Not even a courtesy phone call nor an apology. Terrible customer service. They don’t respect people’s time. Don’t waste your time, go somewhere else.

Giant Food: what do users think?

Tra My Nguyen Thi: Don’t go to buy vitamins at Giant. You have to pay double price compare with Bed bath beyond.I called to return the vitamins because I find down the price so high. But I lose my receipt.I bought the medicine on Sunday 02/27.Only 2 days. And I called to customers service afternoon on 02/28.She told me just need to bring the vitamins and they will refund the money back to gift card instead of money. And then today my husband have to wait for long line to return the vitamins. They didn’t let my husband return the vitamins. They said they need the receipt and they ask who said that I could bring the vitamins back without receipt????I forgot to ask her name.So don’t go and buy food or vitamins at Giant if you want to pay double price compare with Walmart or Bed Bath Beyond. This is my last time going to buy stuffs in there. If you don’t want to become stupid like me.Check price and compare before you decided to buy.
Response: We appreciate you sharing this important feedback about your experience with Giant Food, Tra. Gwendolyn Young: I go to this Giant location because there is very little walking for me to get to the store. On this visit they had Christmas items priced from thirty cents to ninety cents. Some were wrapping paper, so I got some for ninety cents. When I checked out I realized it had charged me more than ninety cents. The clerk at the end of the self check out line saw me looking at my receipt and heard me say, "They overcharged me for this paper!" She then proceeded to tell me that the paper was $1.99 a roll, only the shorter rolls were ninety cents. I told her there is no price tag back there that says that, and where I got it from it says ninety cents! I told her that I was going back to the area where I got it from to check for myself. There was no such sign confirming what she had stated. I when to customer service to return all of the paper and get my money back. The clerk in customer service went back to check for herself. She end up giving me the paper for ninety cents each!

Mesha Moxie: The elevator never works the staff is nasty and disrespectful they don’t offer help I went to the seafood department and they had cleaning products on top of the fresh fish. They did not have any wheelchairs shopping g carts available my overall experience was terrible and I don’t ever plan on returning to this store. The only reason they still open is because of the population in tge area

Best Buy: what do users think?

Kev- keepingitreal: Best Buy offers a variety of items at a reasonable price. I appreciate the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

GoldLeaf Academy: DO NOT COME HERE!! I came in looking for a printer and could not get any help. I waited for over 20 minutes and never had anyone come over. I signed in with the person at the door and he promised that someone would be with me in 5 minutes. No one ever came and I completely wasted my time. The person at the door wasn’t all that pleasant or helpful. I don’t even think he even cares that I never got help. I’m never coming back here again!!!!!

Edgar Lopez: I went in to buy a roku box and next thing I know I bought twice as much since they had more products than I expected. And the customer service was pretty good overall. This is right off the beltway which made its access pretty easy

Ryan Amparo: Terrible 0 STARS!!!! if I could. Customer service is non existent and when they do help they are rude. Do not trust the positive reviews those are fake and they are just trying to increase their rating. This place is a perfect example of why retail is dying.

Sheeba Thallury: Visit: 15 March 2022 Purchased: cell phones We were assisted by Leydi Soriano at this visit. She was very knowledgeable about the products. She was very patient, took time to explain and even helped us with phone/data transfer. The colour/make/model I was looking for was not available at this College Park location, and she went above and beyond to check the availability of the colour/make/model at all the nearby stores. Due to back orders, I ended up purchasing what was available at this store with the help of Leydi.

Metro By Tmobile: After a traumatic experience of being stranded trying to get home, caught in the storm, 2 days shelter, bit was wonderful to receive my package from the Fed Ex office in Petersburg. So grateful and happy. Thank you. My daughter, in FL was so worried because I was out of town. She thanks you also.

Sassy Sauce: I had an issue with my laptop and needed a small tool to remove the case on the bottom of the laptop. I went there and the guy an the geek squad was able to help me and show me what I should buy and where the product was in the store. He was very helpful and patient. He didn’t try to oversell any services and took his time explaining how to remove the cover once I got home. The interactions with every employee in the store was pleasant.

Each Peach Market: what do users think?

nice lady: Just moved into the neighborhood and stumbled upon this cute little market. Loved discovering fun new local products and the produce selection seems to be ever evolving! Can’t wait to frequent this place more.

Mary Sophie Yorke: Peach Market - “Whites Only” Don’t be fooled by the hipster - fake inclusive appearance or the brown faces in various roles. It’s far from friendly inclusive unless dirty stares, rudenesses, and passive aggression are characteristics of inclusive behavior. Peach Market is typical of the white hipster mentality- enter predominantly and co-op black and brown spaces only to serve everyone BUT them. I patronized the place for weeks. It was a mix bag of customer service quality. One young Latino man was always friendly while everyone else especially the older white woman was just frigid as if my Black presence offended them or as if I was going to steal something. What is there to steal from a low grade boutique market? The meat never looks fresh. The veggies look weeks old. Overpriced baked goods. I stuck with it because it was convenient. After another terrible experience with that one elder white lady, I won’t be going back. And if you’re a person of color, you should probably reconsider patronizing this place. As one reviewer pointed out, we are not welcomed… They should be put “Whites Only” and be done with it lol

Chantel Bennett: I’m never coming to this store ever again. This is just another gentrification chic store in the middle of Mt Pleasant with unpleasant workers who are indifferent at best and blatantly rude at worst to non-white customers. I’ve come into this store multiple times and I’ve had staff members push past me, reach around me, and generally ignore my presence in the store until I pull out my card to pay, but today was the last straw. I went in today to pick up some of their bread and an elderly Black woman was asking for a receipt because her employer would give her a hard time without it. The cashier serving her became increasingly aggressive with her because they didn’t understand what she was asking and kept yelling at her that the machine that prints receipts was broken. When another associate came to assist, the cashier abruptly turned away from the woman and blatantly ignored her trying to thank them for their “assistance”. There are so many other markets to choose from on this strip and I will not patronize such a blatantly anti-anyone-but-white space.

S Saeed: Not the friendliest bunch here. Good products with much much higher prices than online. I would tolerate the prices but the shopping experience itself is bad. Update: suddenly changed closing time from 8pm to 7pm without updating on google maps. Found it scribbled on a note at the door.. I’m not wasting my time again.

Holmes: Bougie little spot. And while I appreciate their fancy goodies, places like this just scream displacement - especially in a community like Mt. Pleasant. Also, I absolutely could not afford to shop here for anything more than an occasional treat. Not that there is a broad enough selection of goods to bring a grocery list. Also, I totally believe the stories from some of the POC in these reviews. This place definitely caters to gentrifiers.

Lucas Taratus: Great food and a super helpful staff. I was looking for a potato the other day and the lady working produce was super kind and patient despite all my questions; best potato I’ve ever had.

Laura Dodson: Small shop with good stuff stocked. I like shopping here to avoid the overwhelming nature of big grocery stores. It has what I like, and is conveniently located.

Kaila Gilbert: I got some of the to-go prepared food in back (tuna salad, fancy carrots) and it was 🔥🔥 also the walnut chocolate chip cookies are slept on

Safeway: what do users think?

Your Helpful Wendy: I like how they have a big variety of products and also they have their own brand which was cheaper than the regular ones. Everyone working here is amazing and this location of safeway also has a Starbucks in it. You can ask customer service for the Safeway card and this way you can get extra offers and good deals.
Response: Hello there! This feedback is wonderful to hear! We have shared your positive comments with the proper Teams for review and acknowledgment! We greatly appreciate your business as your local Washington DC Safeway and cannot wait to see you again soon!

Aida Willis: The music will make you want to dance and the staff are humble and friendly.

Naomi Rich: Update: I did as Safeway commented, which was just for show. The only feedback from contacting them via their website was the generic auto reply. Worst Safeway I’ve been to in any state. Worst customer service, poor/no attention to COVID cleanliness throughout the pandemic, and ALL staff I’ve interacted with at checkout act as if scanning your groceries are a burden. Sorry if Safeway treats your horribly, they charge enough to pay you more. If you have any issues or questions, you will never be helped and will actually be made to feel like a problem. A manager literally got upset for me commenting that my Safeway card didn’t work. I truly wish this wasn’t the closest market, when I can I walk two miles to avoid it.
Response: Hi there, Naomi. We are very sorry to hear we missed the mark at your local L St location! Your feedback and business mean a lot to us, and we have shared this all with Store Management for further review. And, we would like to get you in contact with them personally on these matters. At your earliest convenience, please chat with us using the Contact US link towards the bottom of our website. We look forward to hearing from you very soon.

Isabel Moris: Attempted to do grocery pickup at this location because of COVID; the phone for pickup was going straight to voicemail (it had not been set up properly). Attendants did not provide good service 1.they asked us to go inside to the main checkout area 2. they did not let us finish saying what we needed before instructing us to walk to another spot in the store If you can choose another location. If you are COVID conscious or need extra assistance this is not the store for you.
Response: Hi Isabel, thank you so much for your honest review. Please contact us on our Contact US page or on our website using the questions bubble on the lower right-hand side so that we may get additional details about your pick-up experience to further assist you. Thanks again, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Mary Lewis: The fact that I waited in the customer service line for 30 minutes today? With no one at the counter?? Is just the tip of the iceberg for the horrible service that’s always being shared at this location! A COMPLETE HORROR ! This is not the first time! I called the store 3 times and being disconnected and hung up on! …. The drive up and go persons were soooooooooo busy with Drive up and go that they couldn’t even answer a question for me! The person at self checkout also Walked passed me as if I was never there! Thank GOD when the manager finally came? She was polite and courteous! No one paged her! They let me stand at the counter for 30 entire minutes!….this is my second unsatisfactory experience here! The first time I complained I never got a call from A leader on store level or a District leader! City vista? At this point? Hechinger mall and Minn Ave are delivering a better experience than you al! And we allllllll know how ratchet those stores are! Hopefully this feedback helps front end service to improve because professionalism, morale, and common humanity lack big time in this HORROR of a store
Response: Hello Mary we are sad to hear about the service you experienced with our associates. That is not the level of customer service we expect from our employees. Please know that this is not the impression we'd like you to leave our store with. Every experience is important to us and your comments have been shared with the leadership team at this location. Best Buy: what do users think?

Rashad Cheeks: Great location service-wise. Always nice, friendly, and taking care of my needs. I liked the location more before they downsized it - I love walking around a techie store slowly and browsing. You can still do that, just in half the time! :) Never overcrowded, curbside pick up is available as well.

Usman Zubair: I made appointment so a tech can take a look at my mac’s broken screen and can get it fixed . I left work earlier, travelled 20 miles and when I got in the store I was told best buy does not work on Macs. Why the agent on the phone did not tell this on the phone at first place? I had specifically mentioned about Mac and the issue.

Petira Bruce: I purchased a laptop a few months past but it was not performing properly. I took it back to be evaluated and repair ed. The Geek Squad is very helpful. They are polite, patient and knowledgeable.

Mirna Osorio: I went in straight to computers. I was greeted by a young lady. I politely declined her assistance, and I continued to browse. Within a few minutes, I chose a laptop and looked around for assistance. Chung helped me and told me my laptop was out of stock, but he could ship to me free of charge. He was very nice, helpful and polite! I went in on a Saturday evening at about 620pm.

Freddy Flores: I went to buy $2.00 battery for a car key, I was having trouble finding it and asked a rep that was organizing some merchandise, he quickly stopped what he was doing and took me directly the aisle where the battery was also he took the time to find the specific battery I needed and handed it over to me. What else could you ask for in regards of customer service..I was impressed and happy that good customer service is still out there

Ssgt Allen: This Best Buy in Laurel is VERY nice. ("Much" better than the one in Bowie.) I met a staff person there by the name of "Greg". He was Fantastic ! He actually walked >with me< to find the item I was looking for. This is a good location to frequent.

Gigi Robinson: Bass the cashier/store associate was very nice and professional. She knew definitely about the product that I purchased , unfortunately the universal charger with the many pieces, did not fit my chromebook, I will return and bring my chromebook with me this time. Overall, everyone was courteous

Trader Joe's: what do users think?

Khoi Nguyen: One of my favorite locations. Really busy but clean store, friendly staff and everything’s full stocked. Wide variety of frozen items, wine, produce and flowers. Very quick and efficient check out process. Even with a +20 person check out line it moved really quickly

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Very clean excellent location, Great customer service, full of all kinds of merchandise.Good thing this location is not very busy.Fresh bread lots of variety of vegetables and other items.

River: Most pleasant grocery shopping experience. Very clean, personable, helpful and respectful staff and a great value! If you want to know professionalism, just make one visit. The only place to shop around this area! A sincere thank you to management and staff. AAA+++

Taahira Thompson: Everyone who works here is super nice. The service is great and the food selection is solid. The down side is that it’s hella crowded and the cart drop off situation sucks. If you get sensory overload maybe skip this location or go right at opening.

Shaushage G: Fast check out. Decent prices, good collection. Overall, TJ is my favorite grocery store

David Finkelstein: Aside from free parking under the store they took care of an excessively long line very quickly by opening as many registers as possible. It explains why they have such a great reputation. Will definitely be going again soon.
