I’m just so thrilled with every aspect of the process because of the excellent customer service I received.

Preeth Gowdar: Our experience with Mattress Warehouse, and specifically Brenda, was excellent. Brenda took a great deal of time to educate my wife and I, who were complete novices with regards to mattress buying. Brenda even stayed well past the closing time to continue working with us on a possible purchase. Her knowledge of mattresses seems very thorough, particularly from her own experiences, and she was fair in her opinions (not trying to overtly push any product). She was at the end looking to make a sale happen but she made sure we got a very good deal. Brenda seems to us to be an extremely sincere salesperson. My wife and I are extremely glad we stopped at this Mattress Warehouse and found Brenda.

mike tyson: Mohamed was very helpful in my search for a new mattress for my growing teen boy that would not break the bank. He showed us options at varying price ranges and offered a price on a mid-range mattress that came out to just over half of what a Mattress Warehouse competitor wanted for a mattress that seemed comparable. I have to delete one star because the delivery people broke a planter on their way out and did not seem to care enough to apologize, but that is not a reflection on this location.

Dijana Hrvacic: Nine months ago, we bought two mattresses queen and twin and two spring boxes of the same producer Beautyrest (see below attached invoice). Queen mattress was an extra firm mattress as I have serious backbone issues. Very soon one side of the extra firm mattress turned extra soft and sagged down that much that I slide down at night. Since it costed $1700 and it has been several months, we reached out to file a warranty claim. While processing they insisted on photos of both mattress and its foundation (spring box Beautyrest bought in the same shop, check invoice). The warranty claim was rejected due to the " use of inadequate foundation/support system". It does not make any sense considering that both the mattress and the springbox foundation were made by the same producer Beautyrest (check the invoice) and the Beutyrest springbox foundation was recommended by your shop as appropriate for this Beautyrest extra firm mattress. So, there is no place in warranty or warning by your shop that using the frame would eliminate warranty – again both of your items we bought together. The warranty card has forgotten to mention the springbox made by the same producer as the mattress and for its size, and talks about slots (non existent) in this case. If the foundation is really inadequate for this mattress as you suggest then that is the mistake of the producer who made both of them to be used together, and the mattress firm that sells them as adequate for each other and recommends them. It seems that the producer and the shop are finding their own product inadequate. After complaining again, no one has come to inspect the mattress and they just checked different reason on the list of reasons for rejection. I would not recommend to any one to buy anything in this shop as their warranty is fake and products overpriced. the same extra firm mattress-queen size now costs $650 due to bad reviews about sagging.

Elise Stull: The managers at Mattress firm are great. I ordered a pillow from the store, but the manufacturer of the pillow sent the wrong size and then gave me bad information about pillowcases (so I bought the wrong ones and was frustrated). Mattress Firm made everything right though. They helped me exchange the pillow for a different brand AND gave me a discount, even though none of it was their fault. Next time I need a new mattress, Mattress Firm will be my first stop.

In stock item should be delivered in two days. And she was able to answer all the questions we had. Best of all: we were in and out in record time. Would shop here again.

Mais K: I had a really hard time coordinating with them to get my order delivered, they always had the wrong information, never submitted my order number, etc and would falsely tell me each day my mattress was going to be delivered. This store is messy, and untrustworthy.

Stephanie Teagarden: I came in this week originally looking at one of the mattress in a box that they carry in the showroom in hopes of trying it out before purchasing in and was so thankful that I did because the mattress was not at all what I was looking for! Calvin did a fantastic job of helping me find exactly the right type of mattress I was looking for that was perfect for my needs. He was extremely personable, and gave me plenty time to weigh my options. I was able to get my mattress delivered the same week and they were able to take away my old mattress with no trouble! A Tatum: I ordered a queen plush end of 2/21 and received it within a few days. However after 3 weeks I determined I wanted to exchange. I called and Manny assisted me efficiently. He had me come back in, recommended other mattresses to lay on to try out. I went with a medium plush of another brand, which was more firm, it cost slightly more but he managed to do an even exchange and I got the new mattress delivered in two days! At the Same time they swapped out for the old one. They were very understanding that you need some time to adjust to a new mattress and don’t always get it right on the first try. I did have to pay for the delivery fee though. At the time I shopped they were offering a free adjustable base so all in all I got a great deal.

We ended up buying the most expensive one of the bunch but we did not feel up sold. Alex Dogum: I got help from Alberto and was in and out of the location within 45 minutes. Tried a range of mattresses and landed on one we liked. We were able to select an open delivery date so we could call when we were ready. We priced checked places and he was open to working on price post-purchase if we found it cheaper anywhere else. Very easy process and big store with lots of options to test. It’s also sanitary since they use disposable sheets before customers try any of the beds.

I was suppose to get a mattress end up getting my mom and me one that is at our comfort . He provided me with 4 different options. Explained the quality and even background Information . William Wohlgemuth: I went into the mattress warehouse in Wisconsin and was immediately greeted by Clarence. He listened to my needs and was patient as I tried multiple beds. We fell in love with a mattress that was a little out of my price range. Clarence showed me other options but could tell I really liked this certain mattress. Clarence did all he could including calling his manager to he’ll get the price down for me. He ended up being getting the price down into my range after a long phone call. There is no other place you should go to buy a mattress, and if you are lucky enough to get Clarence you will 100% leave with an amazing bed at an even better price. Vonda Bell: Almost 3 years ago I wasted way too much money on a Sleep Number bed which turned out to be a glorified air mattress. In the market for a new mattress and a good night's rest, I stopped by Mattress Firm after leaving Costco (the store is right next to Costco). Birama was my sales associate and he was awesome! I got a great deal on the perfect mattress, and it even included a free adjustable base. Stop by to see him if you're in the neighborhood. The store is fairly new and very nice. The people are wonderful and the prices are even better!

Brandon Gaimari: Customer service is actually good but products are over priced junk. Bought a bedroom set and the design of the bed causes it to squeak every time you roll over. Customer service had Dr. Furniture come out twice - one time screws were missing in the bed, the next time installed slat pads (why were these not installed originally?). For the price you pay, the quality is not what it should be. Beware.

Anna Harrington: First, we had a guy helping us who like was non responsive at the Logan circle room and board. Then I ordered online for July 7 and the furniture store confirmed via email and when I called they told me July 7 was unavailable. Not good service for the price and wouldn’t buy here again.

Summer Logan: I was working with Lisa (who apparently is the store manager). Her behavior does not seem like she should be. My problem was passed off to Peter and I felt underappreciated as a client. Would not recommended the people that work here. Service is below expectations for the money you spend and management should do a better job. Seems like they do not care or engage with clients. Highly disappointed and unsatisfied.

Kathryn Adamcik: I ordered a couch from here in August and it was to be delivered at the start of December. It was delayed until the end of December and I waited for it to arrive. 1 day before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse I got an email saying it would be delayed for 2 more months. I waited for 2 months and days before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse after the 2 month delay I got an email saying it was delayed again. I have called customer service and they have been of no help. They have no idea when the couch will arrive or what the progress is on it. They will not give a discount for this long delay. I am stuck in a pattern where I expect the couch to arrive any day, and then it gets pushed back. This is not okay. I paid over 3k for my couch and am just getting brushed off by customer service, the managers that I have spoken with, and the associates who we spoke to in the store we shopped at. I was planning on purchasing a side table, coffee table, and lamp after the couch arrived, but I will no longer be using room and board in the future. I ask you all to be wary of purchasing from here. I paid for the couch in full and now it looks as if it will never arrive. I expect more from this company, and am highly dissapointed.

Catie Kemp: Love love love. They were a bit too pricey for me to consider when I was living in my apartment, but since buying my place last November I have become a very loyal customer. I started working with Daren to get an idea of what I wanted in my living room- just having the sounding board was so helpful. I have since outfitted my entire living room with them- probably went to the store at least ten times before making my order and never felt harassed or pushed into buying immediately. My mom bought her first house in over a decade this summer and I’ve encouraged her to buy with them too (which she has and has had an equally good experience). The biggest thing for me when I’m spending money on furniture is knowing that a) it will last and b) having confidence in my purchase. I most recently ordered a set of four dining chairs which arrived on Friday and the color just isn’t quite right in my space. I went into the store yesterday and discussed the issue with an associate (didn’t catch her name)- they are very up front about wanting to make things right if you’re not happy. She gave me a sample swatch to take home and test in my space and this morning I called customer care who was happy to facilitate an exchange for me. They are back ordered until February so they even offered me the option of keeping the current chairs (so long, of course, as they are kept in excellent condition). Even speaking to their central customer service center is a personalized experience- I don’t have the same concern with other businesses that my order or request is going to get lost in the shuffle. You can get just about anything in any color/fabric/wood stain/finish that they have and the quality is outstanding- I really wish they were in the kitchen cabinet business because their wood quality, in my opinion, is unmatched by any other business I’ve explored at their scale. Everything is made in the US (Minnesota I believe). Of course with the pandemic things (especially custom items) can take a couple or a few months to come in, but this is far from specific to R&B and well worth the wait. I’ve had three or four delivery experiences with them and each time the employees were punctual, communicative, and, most importantly, careful with my home and furniture! In summary I can’t recommend them enough. They have found a customer for life in me and I am happy to scream my unsolicited appreciation from the rooftops any time! Edited to add- forgot to mention they are dog friendly (with treats!). If this isn’t the sign of a good business I don’t know what is.

Renee Davis: Don’t get me wrong, I love this furniture store. The customer service is great. Delivery service (workers) is great. It’s the actual product, the furniture quality that deserves 1 star (none if I could) our last purchase was the Reese sectional sofa. The buttons pick you when you sit on it and the cushions are cheap. No Cush whatsoever! It’s like sitting on the floor. The entertainment center has no wire outlets in the back for cord management and it scratches easily. And even though the only rerun policy listed is for mattresses I was told (Ginny) that if it was a couple weeks past they would be able to take it back? Do not be fooled by the pretty picture. It’s not worth the price!

Christie Zepeda: I’m autistic and can be easily overwhelmed by sensory overload. Antonio couldn’t have made the mattress shopping experience more stress-free! He gave me all the space and time I needed to try out the mattresses without any added pressure of selling one to me. J. Jackson: Just relocated to Maryland for work and needed to purchase a mattress for my apartment. Initially, I put Googled Mattress Firm and because of the construction on the road I missed my entrance. I was going to make a block and come back to it, but not even a block away I noticed Mattress Warehouse with convenient parking and easy entrance and exit from the street. The sales associate, Nancy I believe was her name, was amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I didn't feel pressured, and she took the time to ask me what I was looking for in a mattress. I couldn't beat the price which included setup and delivery. Awesome service, awesome value. Thank you so much for making my mattress search easy and seamless.

Jen Blondo: I have been researching mattresses for two years now and finally decided to take the plunge and place an order with Avocado. I had gotten a quote a year ago and they told me the quote would not expire, and true to their word they kept the same prices, which saved me a significant amount of money! Kayla was very patient in answering my many questions, and helped me pick out the right foundation for my mattress. She was so nice and friendly, and patient with me as I asked question after question. I have very much appreciated Avocado's "no pressure" approach, especially since it was a year ago that I did a video call to prepare for the purchase and they put together the quote, but I didn't make the purchase for 12 more months!! I'm excited for my products to be delivered in a few weeks.

Bretton Woods: We liked Avocado’s mission and vision and purchased our Avocado mattress in April of 2020. Within the first year we could both see and feel depressions in the mattress which began impacting our sleep quality. After checking the Avocado warranty, we found the 1-inch deep depressions in our mattress did not meet the 1.5 inch requirement for replacement. We have followed Avocado's instructions, our bed meets the criteria laid out by the company, and we followed the rotation schedule. Yet the problem persists. This was a well-thought out and expensive purchase, but the product itself has not met our expectations for durability. We appreciate that the mattress comes with a 25-year warranty, but given that we had issues in the first 12 months, clearly we won't have it nearly that long, which is a real shame. This occurred despite rotating the mattress according to Avocado’s designated schedule. After reaching out to Avocado in July of 2021, the company provided us with a mattress topper to assist with the problem. While it did help initially, the mattress topper eventually conformed to the shape of the mattress, with the same depressions. Although we appreciate the efforts, it doesn't solve the problem of an expensive mattress having two major divots that impact our sleep.

Jane Stallone: This is my second order purchase from Avocado. My first purchase was about two years ago. In both shopping experiences the chat support team was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. The team has help me put together the best packages that work for me. The Avocado Green mattress has gotten numerous number one ratings and I know why. It's the perfect combination of supportive and comfortable. The available frames are all beautiful - you can't go wrong here. I HIGHLY recommend the in home white glove delivery - its worth every penny! You'll sleep well on an Avocado mattress!

cecelia nowack: I was really excited for the indigo duvet cover that I purchased but when it arrived I noticed there was stitching coming out everywhere and spots where the stitching was just really bad (chunky as in the same spot was sewn over back and forth multiple times randomly, not straight, coming apart, etc.). I really appreciated the super quick customer service and sending me another duvet cover right away, however, the second duvet that came had a hole/tear in the bottom. Im really disappointed because I like what the company is doing but I just expected better quality/QA for a $350 duvet cover.

Vienna Virginia: The Hastens product, service, and sales team are exceptional. We had no intention of buying a super pricey mattress and only went into the store to browse. Two weeks later we were sleeping on a Hastens mattress and in love with it. We worked with Helio who is fantastic...he goes above and beyond and is extremely knowledgeable about the products. The delivery team was also fantastic and took great care maneuvering around our home. Overall we couldn't be happier with Hastens and highly recommend their mattresses.

The entire experience was made so much better by, Robert, the store manager. Not only is he kind, friendly and patient; but he is also very knowledgeable and professional. He really took his time to explain what makes these beds different and we were able to test each bed. It was really a pleasure to work with him. While the Hastens beds are an investment it is also an investment in your health. We have never slept better!! I highly recommend Hastens.

Alex Yeon: We purchased the Eala and it has been wonderful. The bed is very comfortable and I wouldn't want to sleep on any other mattress. The bed just hugs you and you feel part of the bed when laying down. Helio was our rep and he was great to work with. The duvet is amazing too. It feels like a cloud is covering you yet it's so warm. 6 stars if I could.

Dina Seligman: We purchased our Hastens from Helio Lopez in Tysons II Galeria about a month ago. We had been looking at Hastens for a few years and could not really pull the trigger on such an expensive mattress. Helio was very professional and most of all extremely informative about the brand, the history and the makings of these incredible mattresses. We spent about an hour in the store with him trying different levels of the mattress. As I have always believed you Get what you Pay for and the money spent on Hastens is worth every penny. The mattress is out of this world it feels like I am laying in clouds that are hugging me all night long. I am not waking up with achy shoulders or hips, I toss less by half the amount and it's only been one month sleeping on it! As it conforms to my body Hastens should be called Heaven!. Dez Robinson: After hearing of this brand for many years I was very excited to see that they have FINALLY opened a DC based location! After doing some basic research I decided to visit the store last Saturday so that I could test some mattress's and finally see what all the hype is about. The store was very clean and All the staff was so kind during my visit. The beds were so comfy that I found myself dozing off after just a few minutes, I didn't want to leave! Im not usually the type to write a review but the store manager Rob was just so patient and knowledgeable that I felt It necessary. I told Rob that the beds were probably out of my price range but he still took the time to explain the differences between each bed and gave his recommendation based off my sleep history. I only spent about 1 hour in the store but when it was time to leave I felt relaxed and ready to conquer the rest of my day. The bed that I ended up choosing is a bit out of my price range at the moment but you better believe ill be saving up for it after this experience!

Stacy Lemery: Having a West Elm accessible to bus and metro lines is great for residents of the DC area. There is always lots more online, but being able to see the quality of bedding, furniture, etc in person makes a big difference. I have purchased a bed, bedding, hallway shelving, a shoe rack, curtains, candle holders, and other decor from West Elm.

Ms.: I love the items in the store. Very stylish and very unique. 2 full floors of sofas, pillows, dishes, pot holders, baskets, wall decor and more. Easy to stay in store and "look"..sure to find an item for your home or gift for another. Can't really talk about customer service except to say no one acknowledged or ask me did I need help to find an item. I was on my own..succeed

Eric Overton: Staff at this store were basically useless and didn’t seem to know much about the products for sale. Fortunately, I was only there to test a floor model before buying online. Shipping was fast with only two weeks between purchase and delivery. Delivery dudes were both prompt and chill.

Geneva: I was wary of buying from this store based on some of the reviews here; however, after a year of searching for the right sectional, I found the perfect one for me at West Elm. I received good service from the store. The sales person was very clear that my sectional - which I bought in November for a nice discount - would not arrive until early January. As promised, I got calls and emails from the delivery department the second week of January and was able to schedule a date that worked for me. The two delivery guys were amazing - they had to maneuver their big truck down a narrow alley to get to the loading dock. They were professional and efficient and out of my apartment in less than 15 minutes. The sectional is exactly what I wanted and so comfortable.

MIchael Wright: Prices are unnecessarily high, since the doors are left open during warm weather, thus requiring more energy for A/C,, which also incrementally contributes to climate-changing emissions. So, not the shop for customers who either don't like higher prices or want to help the environment.

Angela Garcia: STAY AWAY FROM WEST ELM. It's customer service is the worst, they won't ever deliver your items on time, they won't care and won't do anything about their mistakes with your order....it is just not worth it. I have received the wrong item TWICE (which honestly I don't understand how they can mess up the size of a piece which is clearly stated in their website other than it should have never been offered there in the first place because it doesn't exist). Now I'm stuck with an item which is not the one I ordered, and west elm won't care to pick it up and complete the return. THIS BRAND IS A JOKE.

The store associate we worked with was knowledgeable, professional, and personable, and really helped us choose the best option for our apartment. Our furniture won't arrive for a while, but we'll eagerly await it! The store itself was clean and well-organized.

Annapurna Mitra: The worst delivery experience I have encountered. I ordered a dining table and four chairs, with in-home delivery. The chairs were sent via UPS, not assembled, and with no explanation despite paying $250 for in-home delivery. I live alone, and there are 7 pages of assembly instructions requiring two people. I have no way of doing this, and am left with a living room like a furniture warehouse. On the other hand, the dining table, which was ready 10 days ago, and I had asked the customer service to wait and schedule an appointment for all items together is yet to arrive. I cannot find a way to schedule anything on the website, and on the phone I can not find a way to talk to a human being. I have received no response to my email. If I could give zero stars I would.

Sarah Gunel: Customer service was super here! All of the sales associates were helpful, but not pushy. They were also pleasant (happy). After we returned home from our shopping, I realize that I left my daughter's hat there. I called and the woman who answered the phone said she would mail it to me. I was incredibly impressed with their customer service. I would definitely return to this store!

Matt Jepsen: Whatever you do, don't order online. BBB uses UPS Sure Post where UPS delivers to your local/regional post office who in turn delivers it with your mail. I'm a big proponent of the US Mail and I have no beef with UPS. But, they often don’t work well together and the handoff makes for significant delays. If you're going big box for online shopping, stick with Walmart/Target/Amazon or better yet, support a local business.

Patrick: The people working do not wear the masks appropriately - mouth covered, nose not. One employee was kind enough to put more disinfectant wipes for the carts after asked him to. Cool products and great place to get small sized items for travel.

A Layne: BUYER BEWARE!! Very disappointed. Only reason they get 1 star is to rate WITH a comment. This is not Ashley but a franchise that bought the Ashley name and is delivering Regency furniture. I bought a $ 1689 firm mattress in June 2020, by December the mattress had 2 soft spots when weight is applied with a very firm center. After trying to get the mattress replaced a so called tech came out to assess the mattress. They did not do anything. My wife and I even turned over the mattress and slept on the bottom of the mattress. That gave us relief for 2 months. The mattress is garbage. We even contacted investigative reporter Susan Hogan at channel 4. They could not do anything because Ashley did not close our case. The pictures show two levels. The yellow level shows the mattress is level with no weight. The red level shows how the mattress sags with weight applied. You will see the bubble in the center of the level is not in the middle. Pictures show weight on the middle and each side. We called corporate for Ashley and were informed that the Ashley location was not a part of their corporation. All attempts at rectifying went through Regency Furniture in Waldorf. The mattress lasted 6 months. We got 😫 tired of the pains we are feeling because of the garbage mattress that we went out and purchased a good mattress from Havertys. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ASHLEY IT IS OWNED BY REGENCY FURNITURE. THEY ALSO OWN MARLO.

Just Erika: I was SO pleased when I walked out of Ashley furniture that leaving a review only made sense! I initially purchased my furniture in February and worked with Aziz. He was absolutely phenomenal. I told him what I was in search of and my budget and worked so diligently to make sure that I found what I needed. Well, there is no secret that ALL furniture stores are a bit behind on the delivery of out-of-stock products but after 11 weeks, I decided to call yesterday. I was greeted by a young lady named Jasmine on the phone. She was extremely professional as she shared my options with me. One of them being to come into the store to find an in-stock item and compete an exchange. Once I arrived to the store, Kiara was the sales rep that assisted me and OMG… I wanted to give her the biggest hug before leaving. She was patient, helpful and even gave some of her own personal input in helping me select my items. I felt like I was shopping with a friend and not being an annoying customer as I paced the floor for over an hour lol. It was time to check out and another young lady (who’s name I didn’t get but she had curly hair and sat up front) was so sweet and helpful as we wrapped my portraits (because yes, Kiara helped me pic a few wall pieces) and she assisted with carrying them to my car. I am very big on customer service! And it’s not often that you receive superior service from every singe team member and from beginning to end, but I did yesterday! Thank you to the Ashley Furniture team :)

Cassandra Wilson: I went to the Capitol Heights store during their Labor Day sale to buy a sofa. I was assisted by a salesman named Kevin Jacobs. He was very patient with me and did not do a "hard sale" on me. He answered all my questions (there were many) and took the time to make sure I was taken care of so I could make an informed decision. Because of Kevin's professionalism and patience, when I decided to buy my bedroom set it was a no brainer that I would once again go to the Capitol Heights store. Again, Kevin was very good and made my buying experience a pleasant one. I will definitely being returning this this location for all my future decorating needs. Love Isbeautiful: BUYER BEWARE!! I’m going to share one of many issues we’ve had with this location. We purchased a mattress in 2021. We were told that they are currently out of stock but they have some coming in two weeks or so; we would get a call to schedule delivery. Two weeks went by and no phone call from Ashley Furniture so I called to follow up. I was told “oh we’re expecting those mattresses to come in tomorrow, let’s schedule a delivery date and they will call you the night before to confirm the time they will make the delivery”. We scheduled delivery and no one called to confirm the delivery time so I called back. Needless to say I kept getting the run around. Fast forward TWO MONTHS LATER and still no mattress. During which time I encountered VERY rude managers and employees it’s sickening. Three months later, we get our mattress and ITS THE WRONG MATTRESS!!!!! We called to inform them of their error only to encounter rude staff and management again! After many attempts to rectify the issue, we were stuck with this mattress that we can’t sleep on because it’s so uncomfortable. We have spread the word about the lack of customer service. Many of our friends/family have had similar issues and refuse to shop here. We should have listened. Again, this is only one of many issues we’ve had with Ashley and Regency Furniture. They seem to be the same company. The only customer service you will receive is when you are making a purchase. At the time of checkout, they ask for a five star review with the sales persons name listed in the review for incentive, then if you encounter an issue they couldn’t care less. Do not believe the five star ratings as they are based on false advertising and fake customer service up front. You should take your business to Haverty’s, at least they care and will provide TRUE customer service.

I came in to cancel one of my orders furniture which I had been waiting on for 1 month and no response one way or other so I cancel. S. Haskins: I'm still waiting on my furniture. I ordered it in April and now I was told it will be delivered in July. Had I known it would take this long, I would have ordered from some place else. Also, I don't like their payment process. They debit your credit card to hold the payment week after week. They said they don't charge it until after it is delivered but it will ping your card and hold the funds then decline and then hold the funds again. VERY ANNOYING! I will update my review once I get my furniture. Let's see how the delivery and assembling goes. 😔

Lani: This store had many nice furniture pieces on display. However there is currently a very long delay of anywhere from one to four months for furniture to be delivered. The sales rep who assisted me was helpful, but pushy and followed me around the store when I just wanted to scope out items. I literally had to ask him to just give me a minute and I will find him when I was ready to talk about the pieces I was looking for. The pushy reps made my experience poor. One thing I noticed is that many of the furniture items did not have a label or name on them. This means that for everything you were interested in, you would have to ask the rep for details on the pricing. It would save a lot of time if I was able to just literally look at the name And price of the item directly, especially since the store is so big. It seems like the associate did not want to tell me the names of items, which I found to be odd. If I am looking at multiple pieces of furniture and comparing prices, it is helpful as a shopper to know exactly what I’m looking at since there are so many items. There was also a huge push to buy items in store, although many were listed for much cheaper online. He also try to sell me a couch that had visible damage on it. I think this was just to make the sale

Zewdu: We have had a good year 2021 except this TRAUMA. We purchased a sectional sofa in Dec 2020 from Ashly Furniture Falls church, VA and we were told it would be delivered within 4-12 weeks. however, we did not receive it until may/June 2021. after we received the sofa, the quality was not good enough. So, We needed to return part of the sofa & paid additional $100 pick-up fee and then the store wanted to charge us 30% restocking fee. We spoke to customer service & due to their late delivery timeline & poor customer Service communication, they agreed to charge us 10% cancelation fee instead. After a few back and forth with them, we went to Ashly furniture falls church to get our refund. one of the customer manager we spoke to reiterate that we were to be charged 10% fee-not 30%. The store manager disagreed & insisted that he's going to charge us 30%. We repeated to him the conversations we've been having with them, but the store manager (he said his name is Ray) and he was not even wearing a name tag) escalated it...started shouting & yelling at us. This was unnecessary so we started recording our interaction."Ray" demanded that we stopped recording, or he'll call the police & said,"I PROMISE YOU, I WILL GET YOU ARRESTED" We told him that was his choice to do so. He called 911 & claimed that he was being "harassed" by a customer; we called 911 as well & told the police what was really happening.When the Police arrived, "Ray” asked the police to make us delete the recording & escort us out.The Police told him we had every right to record the conversation as the Police himself was recording this event as well.The Police told us to deal with the refund issue with the appropriate party & to keep paper trail. We submitted compliant to BBB and we received our refund a couple of weeks ago. This process has been physically, emotionally draining & it has been causing unnecessary distress to us. BBB to take the appropriate measure as there are multiple complaint online & this store manager/location to be held accountable for the emotional distress they have caused to customers. Ragai Abdelrasoul: My wife and I have been looking for furniture that was reasonably priced for the past 6 months. Everywhere that we’ve went has had very aggressive salespeople. Maria was extremely patient, helpful, and even gave me discounts and was on our side throughout the whole process. Highly recommend Maria! 10/10!

Amanda Murff: We purchased a couch at this location and had a good sales experience. The team members were knowledgeable and friendly and able to answer all of our questions. Our salesperson's name was Kanan and he was very friendly and responsive to our needs, plus he was not rigid in negotiations which I very much appreciated because we came in with a budget we wanted to respect and I communicated that to him. Connie handled all the paperwork during the actual purchase process and she was very friendly, professional, and transparent. We knowingly purchased a couch that was not in stock at the warehouse, so we haven't been through the delivery experience yet, but as far as the in-store experience, it was very positive.

Stela Berbic: Best service I could get! Mark is an amazing salesman! Finding the furniture I like was so easy with him! I got the best deal and was served in best way, so definitely once you there ask for him! Yara at the checkout made sure she gave me best delivery date and took care of everything smoothly! Couldn’t be more thankful! Quality at best value it’s hard to find, that store it’s the right place for it, with Mark guiding you of course!!

Rebekah Mann: Highly recommend NOT buying in store here. It’s way better to try out the furniture and then buy online as online prices are significantly cheaper. We found a couch in store that was $300 cheaper online as well as an ottoman that was $150 cheaper online and ships sooner than what would ship from the store. Not to mention taxes and furniture protection plans are cheaper online. The sales associate that tried to sell to us said that you have to pay the delivery/assembly fee or else you can’t get the protection plan, which isn’t true. We were able to order online and do doorstep delivery for free with a furniture protection plan. Hoping you can con people into paying more in your store is not a very successful way to compete with other stores. Especially when people have the sense to take 20 seconds to use Google to confirm pricing and availability.

Kayla Regan: If I could give zero stars I would. BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a large sectional couch from this store not even two years ago. The floor model they had was damaged and you could not sit in the middle of the couch. The salesman had told us there was an issue but to test out the other section of the couch. Maybe we were naive in believing him that the couch was damaged from it being a store model - but alas here we are and our couch has the same exact problem. The black mesh material that the cushions sit on is ripped. We cannot sit in the middle of the couch. I had purchased the 5-year protection plan and specifically asked if this was covered and was told yes. Again, my fault for not reviewing all the terms and conditions before agreeing to purchase. I tried to file a claim and of course it's not protected. I called the store directly and was told I can get the money back for the protection plan $190 as a store credit to use on a future purchase. That's it. They won't even pay to have someone fix the issue with the couch when they very well KNEW this was an issue with this model. Honestly, the cushions are all balled up on the material and have lost their sturdiness - and for a couch not even two years old where I spent over $2,000 - that's insane to me as well. Overall I WOULD NOT buy a couch from Ashley Furniture. Ever. Anywhere - but especially would not shop here.

He answered our questions, didn't pressure us, and overall made our trip to Ashley a great experience. The checkout and delivery schedule was seamless as well with the help of Nura. Great customer service and a fantastic new sofa.

Zoe Davies: Mark was a huge help. Helped us figure out what was in stock and would fit in our space when the first couch we purchased wasn’t going to fit. He made it easy to transfer the cost of the first couch toward the second couch. I haven’t always been a fan of Ashley’s but he changed my opinion.

CJ Young: BEWARE!!! We bought a leather couch less than a year ago for $2000 from Ashley. There is already stitching coming undone on part of the couch. What makes it worse is that it's in the middle seat where we rarely sit (the middle part has a fold down arm rest that we use). I called the store and was told that the stitching is not covered under their 1 year warranty. Even though is specifically says on the website that seam slippage is covered!! We had a horrible experience with the delivery and now an even worse experience with the customer service. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
