Pamela Sommers: Excellent sales and service but stay away from the extended warranty. For my gas Samsung range, the warranty does not cover the knobs two of which broke. Consumer Priority Service (CPS Customer Service) was extremely difficult to deal with in terms of responsiveness and attitude. Read the warranty carefully, it is more like a transmission warranty for your car. Knobs are specifically excluded and not deemed to be a functional part. I feel that I wasted the money ($125). By the way the knobs cost $25 each and I needed two. M and M did not push the warranty and I have nothing but praise for the store. It would thrill me if they stopped using CPS.

Lucas Horne: M&M Appliance is everything a local appliance store should be. I called and immediately got the store manager on the phone (not by complaining, that's just who picks up the phone!). My washer had broken and he knew exactly what was in stock that would fit my needs and gave me a few options along with the prices. He had the washer delivered right away, then ordered the dryer since it wasn't in stock. Given the issues with appliances in late 2021, this was a pretty incredible feat to get a washer replaced with pretty much exactly what I wanted within a week. Communication, knowledge, and inventory was top notch. While I'm at it, all I've ever heard from old-timers is how great another local appliance shop is (B&S...). Back in the day I think they used to be a small, local appliance shop like M&M, however they've grown to the point of which nobody has any idea what's in stock, how long items will take, or even what appliances exist (they literally ordered me a dishwasher model that never existed and led me along for months before I went in person to see what was going on). Over the last 5 years I've had numerous friends (including ourselves) that have gone that route, and not a single one has had a smooth process. There is a huge amount of value in a place like M&M that knows the ins and out of their operation and can make sure everything goes smoothly throughout the process. I only bring this up to point out that there's a huge difference between a local chain, and a true local shop. M&M is the latter, and you can tell that with every interaction. Thank you Eric for all the help and communication along the way!

M Smith: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I always pay attention to reviews and having a 4.4 review score was not alarming to me so we decided to use M&M Appliances. The order process went smoothly. However, after working with this company during product delivery, I totally understand why they are NOT the company to hire for your investment in new appliances and the negative reviews that appear on Google. My husband and I ordered 6 major appliances from M&M. When the first 3 appliances arrived, 1 of the 3 appliances was working. The dishwasher was installed and we were unable to use it. There was an error message on the machine when it was turned on. The washer was installed and did not work at all. When we called M&M to address the matter, we were told to call GE because they don't fix appliances. We are beyond frustrated with this company and will be canceling the remainder of our order. If you expect high quality service and products, DO NOT USE M&M Appliances!

Marlene Azer: I had an amazing experience getting our appliances here. We completely renovated a house and needed everything (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, washer/dryer) under a pretty tight budget and time frame. We needed things delivered the following week! Our sales associate took their time putting together our list of appliances with our time and budget restriction in mind. Brian very patiently looked through all their warehouse items in the area so that we got everything we needed and we are extremely pleased with each appliance we’ve purchased. He also made sure we had everything needed to install the appliances. The prices were excellent. I will definitely come back if we need anything else in the future.

When our washer broke down, I reached out and despite many attempts to reach out for the last two weeks, absolutely no response from the rep (to phone calls or emails). They seem to be focused solely on sales and not the necessary follow up.

William: Panic purchased an oven because I broke part of the outer glass trim on my unit a week before Thanksgiving. Decided the next day to repair my current unit and was able to cancel the order with no hassle. The specialist I dealt with was fast, professional, and very understanding. I appreciate dealing with people who understand that customers make mistakes and are still treated with dignity and courtesy.

Julie and Avner: We just had a really terrible experience with M&M Appliance. The washer and dryer that we purchased recently are malfunctioning badly. When I called M&M, they told me that I had to go through LG for warranty work. They gave me the name and number of the contact person in our area that does LG warranty repair. When that person finally called me back (a week after I initially called and only after I made a second call), he told me that he is NOT a warranty repair person for LG and was confused about why M&M was giving his name out to customers. I then called LG and they were on the phone with me for 45 minutes "diagnosing" the problem and then told me that they would make an appointment for a repair person to come to our house. I asked for information about the person coming to the house, and they said they could not give me any information about the person or the company -- such as where they are located. I then asked whether they could "dispatch" my service to an LG service company located near my house (that gets good reviews on the web), and they declined to make the referral and wouldn't tell me why. While I was speaking to the LG rep, the washing machine began to seriously malfunction in front of me (almost flooded the basement). After all of this, I called M&M to tell them that I had no confidence in the LG repair service or the machines and I wanted to return the machines. The sales person (Todd) told me that once a machine is installed, M&M has nothing more to do with it (unless the problem is an installation problem). They will not accept a return of the machines and will not do anything to help me negotiate with LG. We usually buy our appliances from Bray & Scarff which has always had impeccable service. I only tried M&M because I read a strong recommendation for these particular LG machines from the NYTimes and Bray & Scarff doesn't carry them. What a mistake. The worst part of all of this is that M&M seems to take no responsibility for the products they are selling. Do yourselves a favor and buy your appliances from Bray & Scarff. I will never stray again.

Bob Farrell: My experience of buying a washer and dryer from M & M Appliance was a great experience. I had visited and read the less than stellar reviews of Home Depot and looked for a better option. The reviews for M & M were excellent and I could not agree more. The website was informative and I began an on-line chat with Todd. Todd was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish and top-notch. The delivery and installation was flawless. I was so impressed I am writing my first review. You can't go wrong with M & M Appliance.

World Traveler: Knowledgeable and attentive service. Bought a Miele washing machine here and got it delivered. From start to finish, the experience as been outstanding. No pushy sales rep., very professional. Eric has been beyond patient with me, for which I’m very thankful. His team delivered and installed the washing machine with white glove service: courtesy call 20mins prior to arrival, protected my floor (no dirty shoes in the house! ;) and ensure that all my questions were answered. I would definitely use them for all my future appliance needs.

Garzhul: Great experience buying, terrible experience afterwards. One of the appliance I purchased was defective; they wanted nothing to do with it and just directed me to figure it out with the manufacturer. Pretty poor business practice.

Daniel Temme: I bought a $3600 LG refrigerator from M and M in August 2021. The refrigerator arrived and was installed but had a scratch on the left door so I called the sales department on the matter. They immediately ordered a new door which arrived about one week later. When the M and M servive technicians came out they informed me they had to transfer all the components from the old door to the new door as the new door was just a shell. However, it appeared they never replaced an LG left door before because they had difficulty pulling out some of the components like the display panel and when they did they finally did it was nicked and scratched but likedly most of the damage was on the backside but still visible. Further, they had difficulty in leveling the doors and when they finally did they placed the refrigerator in crooked. I called the sales department again and they said someone would come out to fix the issue but I never heard from them again so I decided to hire someone to fix the installation and make sure the door were level. Very disappointed because I decided to go with M and M to purchase the new refrigerator I thought we would get better service than if I bought it at a chain home improvement center..

Kim Sheridan: I recently purchased a washer and dryer from a big box store. It was a terrible enough experience that I canceled my order after two failed delivery attempts (who only brings a dryer?). I’m so glad I had found M & M during my search. Eric was able to take my order over the phone, asked the right questions, and simply put, was nice and professional. Everything was delivered yesterday. Delivery wasn’t going to be an easy feat—going to the 3rd floor of a DC townhouse. It was a tough job for two guys but there isn’t a mark on my walls or floors. They were careful in the removal and I was able to re-use the pan that was there. This is a stacked unit, in a hallway closet. I didn’t watch but it’s all there shining and new and ready to go. This is a high- end appliance store but they had what I needed at a competitive price. Plus, it’s nice to shop local.

Beverly Lemon: If anyone is looking for new appliances, I highly recommend M&M Appliances located at 817 South Washington Street, Old Town Alexandria (next to Southside 815). I purchased a new GE dishwasher on May 6 and Manager Eric Mattsson was exceptional in matching and finally beating the price of Lowes and Home Depot. Luis and Carlos were great at delivery and installation on May 12. My one suggestion is to ensure they have the high drain hose bracket with them so they don't have to return another day. I would definitely buy from them again.

Mary Kenkel: If I could give them zero stars I would. We purchased a machine from them (and other appliances as well) a year ago. We use it in a commercial setting, and asked for a commercial washer. Was told, no don't waste your money, big families do 10 loads a day, its ok if you do three loads a day. We will get you a commercial warranty. A year later our washing machine started to fail - won't complete a cycle. Error code keeps coming up. So we call and ask for our warranty repair. Some guy comes out, spends three minutes, says the drain is clogged and that's the problem and we shouldn't be using it in a commercial setting. Five minutes after he leaves, the washer does the same thing -- Error code. We called M& M and explained the issue and they said maybe their person would come out. Nope, the warranty people send out the same service guy again who again spends three minutes, cleans out the drain and says it's fixed. Five minutes after he leaves, the washing machine again stops with an error code. There is obviously something wrong with either the computer or the drum. All of this has gone on for a month. I have called M&M appliance several times, asked for the owner, they claim they are working with the warranty people. The warranty people again put in a ticket and email us immediately after putting in a new ticket saying that the washer is repaired -- NO ONE HAS EVEN SHOWN UP!!! Bottom line, we purchased the machine that we were told to purchase. Then the sales man tells me today, oh well you can purchase a commercial washer -- seriously????? I said sure take back the washer that you sold me and refund me and I will purchase the commercial washer. The run around has been unbelievable and we have purchased several appliances from these folks. Obviously they give bad advice and don't stand behind their warranty. Per your response which is over two months later. Patrick did NOT discuss the initial purchase, I did and it was YOUR salesperson that said we didn't need to purchase a commercial washer that we could get a commercial warranty. That warranty which we paid for, was as useless as the paper it was written on. Your company did NOTHING after multiple requests to fix the machine -- you could have sent someone out to fix it yourselves, but no. The fact that you think that over two months later you think we are still without a washer is as absurd as the rest of your response. We purchased another washer after trying desperately to get the one that you sold us fixed. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

He asked for a commercial washer due to the nature of your Doggie day business, but was unwilling to pay the premium price for a commercial washing machine. My manager sold Patrick an LG washer because of the capacity you required, with the caveat that he purchase a commercial warranty for the machine, which he did. Heather Wanser: I purchased a refrigerator, an over the stove hood, and a dishwasher in the Fall of 2016 and am very happy with all my purchases. M&M prices are competitive with Home Depot, Lowe's & other suppliers plus M&M has great customer service. Eric was very helpful and even directed me to a dishwasher that was less expensive than the dishwasher that I planned to buy. It is worth your time to give M&M a try.

david zand: I found Eric at M&M Appliance to be knowledgeable about the kitchen appliances we needed. He voiced pros and cons of each appliance. We went with a particular suite of appliances which were much cheaper than where our contractor recommended we purchase them from. Also, Eric pointed out a second rebate we would not have known about (which has been processed) netting us an extra ~$700. M&M kept our appliances in storage a little longer than normal with no issue and delivery was timely and excellent. Very glad I found this store and supported a local business, all the while receiving great service at a discounted price. A+!

Joe: We purchased a washer and dryer from Candy’s last year. Eric was very helpful while we picked out the model and delivery was easy. The best part, though, was the customer service that followed. The dryer stopped working while it was still under warranty, and Eric was extremely helpful to us. He helped schedule the appointment for the Samsung rep to come to our home and because we can’t access our cell phones during the day, he made sure to leave messages on both cell phones and send emails to ensure we were all on the same page. Of course we had many questions and he was quick to answer all and never made us feel like we were a burden. He also loaned us a dryer to use since the first available appointment was 2 weeks out. He had already made the sale and it was Samsung’s responsibility to cover the warranty, so he didn’t have to go out of his way at all--he had already made his sale. But he did and we appreciate so much. We would have never gotten this level of customer service at a national chain. So happy we went with Candy’s and we highly recommend the selection, price and customer service they offer.

Michelle Krisel: From the moment I walked into the Alexandria store, I knew we were in good hands with Eric. Despite several failed attempts by Bray and Scarff to get our large Viking Professional refrigerator down our stars, in 20 minutes, amazing Joe had it dismantled and out of the townhouse. Neither he nor Luiz, who delivered the new refrigerator, left a scratch and both were thoroughly professional and helpful. I can’t recommend M & M more highly and will certainly return the next time I need a new major appliance.

Jeff S: EXCEPTIONALLY POOR EXPERIENCE - DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. My builder used ABW for my appliance selections on a custom build project in NOVA. While the sales and installation were fine, I have had an on-going issue with an appliance that they have still not resolved SIX MONTHS LATER. In fact - it has taken on average a month to get a technician out to attempt a repair, which after 3-4 attempts have still failed, and I still don't have a replacement appliance. There are better, more customer focused appliances providers in Arlington/NOVA - use them instead.

Paul Miller: I was looking to purchase all new kitchen appliances for my kitchen remodel and came upon ABW. Donald Smith was assigned as my sales associate and from start to finish he was awesome! Rita Hare: I ordered a Viking oven last May and promptly got caught up in the supply backlog chain. All through the 8 months until it was installed I was kept updated. Vernon, who sold me the oven, was more than wonderful in helping me feel happy. So much so that when I needed a new washing machine in November, I texted Vernon with what I wanted and he made the magic happen without me even having to go in. My washer is great and was installed quickly and stress free. Vernon is very responsive and friendly. He’s MAGIC… and I will be a loyal ABW customer when I need another appliance.

David Fisher: My experience with ABW was a mixed bag. ABW bought out the company from which I purchased my freezer. A technician from the previous company found that the door was actually deformed so that the interior light switch would not work properly. At that point, my problems began. Having been given a 3-4 week delivery time for the door, I found that to be totally incorrect. In fact, the door took about 3 months be delivered. During that time I was given more incorrect information up until about 2 days before the door was supposed to be delivered. Additionally, NONE of my calls were returned. All follow-up was initiated by me, even after I was promised call-backs numerous times. Finally, by chance, I was connected to Vicki Fox. At that point, the whole experience dramatically changed! I told her my sad tale and how frustrated I was. She took all the information, said she would investigate, find out where the door was and get a firm delivery date for me. I had doubts, but she came through exactly as she promised. She followed up with me several times, and adjusted our delivery date when a conflict arose on my end. When the door was delivered, Brian, the technician did a superb job quickly and professionally. Kudos to Vicki and Brian for turning a very frustrated customer into a fan!

Edna Jordan: After ordering and returning 4 refrigerators. I was told the only way to get the size I wanted I had to move one cabinet up about 2 inches. Called a cabinet company, they came out and said I would have to move all of the cabinets, but recommended new ones, the cabinets are just fine. I reached out to friends on F.B. A childhood friend recommended Glebe Radio. I explained the situation and he came out and measured the appropriate size and agreed it was way to small. Hell, got tired of having to remove food, to get to something in the back and put the food back. I told him what Home Depot stated, that the one cabinet had to be moved about 2 inches. Dabney recommended a contractor that could come out and just trim around the cabinet, and he has a larger refrigerator that would fit just fine. Before you buy from Home Depot or Lowes, contact Glebe Radio. I had five different people measure and each one came up with a different measurement. Now is the challenge of fighting with Home Depot to get this one out and refund my money. Great people to work with.

Dean Wolf: I have purchased appliances from Glebe twice. The first time was for a kitchen range, the second was for a dryer. I am as pleased with my second experience with them as I was with the first. They sold me a gas dryer at a competitive price and it was easy to schedule the installation. The installers showed up on time after notifying me in advance when they were coming, installed the new dryer and hauled the old one away. Everyone involved, Dabney - the owner, Robert and Mary Kraft, and Robert's assistant were pleasant, capable and professional. If I need appliance services again, Glebe will be my first call. I wish other companies treated customers as well as they do.

David Howard: Spent 1,000 on a dishwasher plus installation. It leaks. They tried to fix it once under warranty but it still leaks. Now 60-days beyond the original 1year warranty, I'm on my own. It also started shedding plastic pieces from inside the door...it took us 2-3 months to figure out what it was...oops, too late on the warranty! We have remodeled 10 kitchens and used to go to GE for all of our appliances. It seems they are not what they used to be. As far as buying from small appliance stores rather than the big box stores...I called but they didn't call back. We get better support from Lowe's & Home Depot, stay away from the small guy.

Bev Ingles: OUTSTANDING, what more can I say than that! Owner, Dabney has guided me to get the best fit for oven, refrigerator and most recently, the dreaded dishwasher right during the holidays. Graciously kind with experience beyond beyond any other company I've used over the years. Installer, Robert Kraft, also exceptional. Oven had a very old electrical hookup that had to be reconfigured, worrisome for me but no big deal for him. Zip zip & done! Also added great tips at each install. Fast &, thorough fella. THANKS, and to folks out there looking for quality & great service, highly recommend stop your search right here.

Mark B.: My GE refrigerator died so I went to Home Depot and then to Glebe. Price was better at Glebe and Dabney was a much better source of info. The installation team was careful and installed the refrigerator in a professional manner. Good crew all the way around.

Tiffany Gilbert: My experience with this company was absolutely amazing. GP's customer service was second to none. My husband and I were having a difficult time finding the appliances we needed for our home. Even though Allstate didn't have the appliances we needed either, GP not only explained what we needed, he sent pictures, measurements, and a list of stores that would have the appliances for the best prices we were looking to purchase. I would highly recommend.

Lauren Kardos: GP and the team were THE BEST to work with. From exploring options to replace our broken oven to all the communication and scheduling delivery, to the delivery itself, everything was so seamless and personable. Our kitchen is an awkwardly shaped galley, and All-State took the time to explore all installation options for minimal invasiveness (i.e. not having to move our refrigerator). We will definitely be back when we’re in the market for new appliances.

mary anders: After Home Depot failed to deliver my appliances for the third time, without notifying me that they wouldn’t be delivered, I found All State Appliance Center online. They had everything I needed in stock and for a very fair price. They were extremely helpful and efficient and I was able to order and pay for everything within a few minutes. Within a few hours of first contacting All State Appliance Center, my appliances were installed in my kitchen!! I couldn’t be happier and they will be my new “go to” store.

Lisa Tucker: ABW supposedly stands for A Better Way. In my house we have many, many other names for this business and "better" is definitely not one that comes up. This was the worst experience I've ever had dealing with any company, for anything. Far too much to include in an online review but suffice to say it was a disaster at every turn. Not a single thing went well after the initial order. We were happy to patronize a local business and thought that would be a better experience over one of the big box or online stores. Oh how wrong we were. Complete lack of communication, no follow-up, a plethora of excuses, and generally poor customer service. So many instances of "Are you KIDDING me?" during the many months we've had to deal with them. I would never purchase another appliance from this company. I wouldn't take one if they were doling them out for free.

Joey Rafidi: Update: the CEO of the store, Ryan Simon, has made good on his reply below and helped me secure the proposal I need very quickly. I really appreciate this level of attention to the business, especially from the CEO. I have updated my review and will update it again once the delivery and installation take place. Original review: I have had a very bad experience trying to order appliances from this store. I visited this store two weeks ago on a Saturday. I spoke with a salesman who offered me useful information regarding my options for laundry machines. I gave them my email and phone number, and I was told I would receive a proposal for the cost/delivery times between the two options on the following Monday. I received no proposal and called Tuesday and left a voicemail. I called on Wednesday and was told that the salesman would receive a message from me. I waited a week, then called again. I gave them my phone number and email once again, and I was promised by a different person that I would receive a proposal by the end of the day. It has been two days since that last call, and I have received no information. If you take two weeks and multiple reminders to produce a proposal on the purchase of two appliances, how could I ever trust you to deliver, install, or service them?

John Laguna: Javier showed significant knowledge of the appliances that he showed him and he had a lot of patience showing me what ABW had in stock. JoAnn Volk: Roy was great to work with - solid recommendations, easy to communicate with, answered all my questions. One item took forever to arrive, but that's not on ABW in this current supply chain situation, and Roy kept me up-to-date on timing and even helped me shop for some alternatives when I started to get nervous about the wait. In the end, I got what I ordered and have been very happy.

Kay Dub: They were installing two appliances, and they showed up without one appliance. After they finished installing the dishwasher, it wouldn't turn on. After several hours of trying to figure it out, they weren't able to figure out the electrical issue because they didn't have the necessary equipment. We made arrangements for them to send an electrician and I was guaranteed my problem would be taking care of, however that electrician never arrived. I would not recommend this company.

Kennie Edwards: I have never seen such incompetence in my life. My refrigerator had a leak and I took a photo and sent it to the technician. A month later they were able to come out and take a look at the refrigerator and determined that the part I took a phot of was defected and they would have to order the part. They came out another month later to replace the part. The same part that they should have been able to replace from the photo I gave them two months earlier. In the meantime, I also told them the refrigerator blinks out and does not work intermittently and needs to be replaced. Because it was working properly at the time they were there, they did nothing. Not even a diagnostic test. Now the refrigerator is not working properly and there is no one with good common sense that I can contact to address the problem. I called the service number and had to leave a message because their answering service stated the service department was closed for the day and would open at 9:00am. I left the message at 9:13am. This operation is a complete disaster. A demonstration of epic incompetence. It is a shameful mess that doesn't deserve to exist.

Karen Quintiere: My experience with ABW has been incredible from start to finish. I needed to replace my stacked washer/dryer unit and contacted ABW after a referral from a friend. Betty Burciaga was SO helpful; she replied to a few of my emails well after business hours and on a Friday night! I also spoke with her a couple of times on the phone and she was professional, patient and very knowledgeable about both products and process. Next, I had a virtual appointment with several people, including account manager Jose Martinez. Everyone was so kind and patient - even when I showed them the four flights of stairs that led to the laundry closet on my top floor. After the meeting, Jose reached out to me - he was concerned that the unit I had chosen was not the best option. I had concerns as well, but had decided to move forward (I was doing laundry in my bathtub!). When Jose contacted me, I was so thankful, because he found three more options that he believed would be a better fit. He was 100% right and I am so grateful. I would have moved forward with a unit that I wasn't really thrilled about, only because I wanted to get the whole thing done and over with. Jose went out of his way to make sure that I was happy and had the best unit for my needs. The install went well too; the crew worked quickly and efficiently. I had two small concerns to discuss with Jose after the install (nothing major) and he replied immediately, cc'ed his supervisor and the issues are being resolved. I have already recommended ABW to my entire neighborhood on our Facebook page, and four people told me that they are now working with ABW! Thank you to Betty, Jose, my install crew and Joe for going above and beyond. I love my Miele washer/dryer and while I don't want any of my appliances to break...if/when they do, I'll definitely be calling ABW!

Jerome Fisher: From start to finish the ABW staff was extremely professional and courteous. My fiance and i contracted ABW to find and install a new washer and dryer and we could not have had a better experience. ABW provided us with a wide range of options and gave us great advice throughout the selection process. Once we received the quote we were very happy with the price, and the delivery process was quick and easy. Every staff member that i spoke to was very knowledgeable and on point. Moving forward I highly recommend ABW, this has by far been our best purchase in our new home!

Tom Esposito: Poor communication, sloppy, and willing to take money for no service. We made an appointment for servicing three products we purchased at ABW. First, the oven hood light was having difficulty coming on. The service man turned it on, turned it off, and said the button on these models are temperamental and there was nothing he could do for it. We were charged $80 for him to tell us this. Second, the waterline in our refrigerator was running very poorly. The service person put a cup under it and suggested we change out the water filter (although the filter light still said it was 'good'), which we did. We were charged $80 for that piece of advice. On a subsequent service call when he came back to recheck the water dispenser, after we'd replaced the filter, and it had not improved, he said that’s the way it is. He never looked at the waterlines to see if there was a problem, which the dispatcher explicitly said he would do. Finally, the main reason we had the service call was for the two interior panels of the oven to be cleaned because they had streaks going down the inside of them which we explained when making the appointment. The service man came with no cleaning products. After using our products it seemed to make some of the problems better but made some of the other glass look worse. We called ABW again to resolve this issue and we were told a different service provider would come out and bring cleaning products to try to clean the glass. The same service person showed up once again. Unable to get the glass clean he installed the new glass. When he left, we noticed that there were fingerprints on inner sealed part of the new glass. So now our brand new glass has fingerprints we cannot remove. In addition, each time he left our house there were fingerprints all on the outside of our appliances that he ‘serviced’. It would seem to me that for looking at each appliance and charging $80 to just look at them that a service person would have him come with some sort of cleaning product to wipe his own fingerprints off.

We provide all of our crews with stainless steel cleaner so that they polish the appliances after they complete their repairs. So there is no excuse for this on our end. In regards to the cleaning of the oven I will look into this as we do not have cleaning services for appliances and if someone gave that impression then again I apologize for that level of miscommunication. I will have our office contact you on Monday to send a tech out to recheck everything and make sure that we leave you satisfied. I will also be refunding you $160 for all the trouble and hassle. Ralph Miller: The ABW sales person was very good at helping us find exactly the appliances we wanted, and not purchasing anything unnecessary. They also worked with us for several months while we experienced long delays in ordering the cabinets to start our kitchen remodeling project. ABW's prices are not so low as the big discount chains, but the extra service is worth it. I cannot comment yet about delivery, because we have just put in our order and do not want to take delivery for at least two months, but ABW said they are very flexible about holding the appliances until we are ready for them.

Roger Szemraj: A great experience throughout working with Steve Scarborough. He answered all of my questions - large and small - and remembered that there was a different model of the refrigerator that I preferred, but was not available at the time of placing our order. Farris Darawsheh: Horrible service, they said they would send someone over to repair the stove that was not ever a year old, the stove which costs thousands stopped working after less than a year.... they scheduled someone and said it would take two weeks, the 28th came around and they sent the person without any phone call to coordinate or schedule an arrival time with me.... As a result, I was not home! Then they tried to blame it on me, that they showed up while I was not home, and are trying to schedule a follow-up appointment and want me to wait another 15 days! I suggest you stay away from this horrible company! Go elseware, or buy directly from the manufacturer.

Charrese Edwards: I took the time to go into the Fergusons over on Wisconsin where I met with one of the sales people named Tempe. I spent a couple of hours in there looking for several items and making selections, Tempe said she would get back to me by the next day at the latest with some quotes. I did not hear from her so I followed up a few days later with an email, she didn’t respond so I called and left a message, she didn’t respond so I called and spoke to somebody else and she said that she would get Tempe to respond and she still never did. Not exactly what I call good customer service. I drove all the way out to the Rockville store and met with the sales person there, Dixon, and had a fantastic experience. Ferguson should be happy that I just didn’t decide to go somewhere else completely based on the extremely poor service that I got from the Wisconsin Ave store.

Meredith Cross: Keni Jones has helped me on two visits, and she is remarkable. The first time a couple weeks ago I went in to look at new refrigerators because mine (purchased by my builder at another dealer about 8 months ago) was requiring too many repairs. She offered to help me find out how to get it replaced by the dealer for free. That is now happening. Saving $12,000. She didn’t need to help me. She just seems to want to help. Today I went to replace some lights. They have a beautiful selection. I bought a lot of light fixtures with help from Tayler Bordes at the same store in the Fall of 2018. She was fantastically helpful and the lights are great. Today I was there shortly before closing with no appointment. Keni Jones helped me order what I wanted and gave me great advice. I’m a huge fan of Ferguson’s and so glad they opened near DC Chevy Chase!

Jennifer Golden: EDIT/UPDATE: Upped stars to 3 from 1 but can't go higher until I actually experience their services. After the store replied to my review on here and asked that I email them, I did. The manager of the store showed great concern over my experience and seemed quite sincere. Also, many, many, many neighbors on nextdoor dot com voiced their opinions that what I experienced was absolutely not the norm for them. Given most people love to complain and less to praise...having so many take the time to voice praise - I suspect this experience was a fluke. Beautiful showroom, limited refrigerators to look at Totally ignored. I'm in the market for high end refrigerators. Spent a lot of time hovering around the subzero and Gaggenau appliances and was completely ignored. Even asked the front reception when I arrived where the refrigerators are. No even said hi, we'll be right with you. I'll spend my $30k elsewhere, they clearly don't need my business and I'm certainly not going to beg to give it to them.

Allyson Raabe: As far as I could tell, they have a limited selection, mostly priced at full retail, offer little if any valuable design advice, and do not install. I went primarily to look for a bathtub, as I'd really like to see a bathtub before buying it and assumed that a kitchen and bath "Gallery" would have many options, but I was wrong. My bathtub space is probably the most common size there is, but they had only a single option for that size. I have a clear idea of the design I want so really wasn't interested in design "advice," but what I overhead was pretty terrible. A couple was advised to choose a bathroom sink faucet first and then to pick everything else to match. Umm, so forget what kind of shower head you want and need (type, pressure, ahem, legal flow restrictions) and just pick it to match the vanity faucet? That seems crazy, backwards, and potentially code noncompliant. Plus, "matchy matchy" is not design in my opinion. They do have a number of faucet options and a trip there before buying something online would probably help you avoid some annoying online returns, but I think you could find most if not all of what they sell for less through a simple Google search. If you have no idea how to do a Google search or compare prices, then you are probably their ideal customer.

Hanna chakarji: Better prices than you would expect, I was looking for a light for my bathroom, one thatgoes on the wall. Found some beautiful chrome polished triple light. Was the same price as the junk on eBay. They did not have it in stock at Bethesda but they did have it in Richmond, I paid for it at around 3 PM and it was at my home the next day. Awesome place very high-quality items.

June Taylor: The delivery team from ABW appliances was fantastic. They arrived within the expected time frame, even after starting off with a flat tire. They took care to not damage my new Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring, set up my Miele washer and dryer, leveled and tested them for proper performance, gave me a brief demonstration, and were very courteous. I also want to say how helpful Betty Burciaga in sales was by answering questions I had about the appliances and helping me with the ordering process. She arranged for a Google meet during which the laundry site was inspected for measurements to be sure things would fit and the electrical outlets would work. During the 5 month waiting period for the Covid delayed appliances to arrive I got regular updates on their ETA. I couldn’t be happier about my experience with ABW Appliances.

David G: Not a good experience. We were told that a particular product was available at the factory outlet store so we went over to take a look at it. When we got there we discovered it was a scratch and dent item; we were interested in new only. We had no idea that scratch and dent items were offered at their outlet or we would have asked before we went. And, it behooves the people working at the outlet when they mention a product's availability to say the condition of the item BEFORE the customer arrives. It was a total waste of time. On a positive note, the people who work there are very nice. I hope they take note of this with future customers.

Randy Hollstein: We are so impressed with the entire ABW purchasing and delivery experience! This really couldn't be easier, from online ordering, coordinating delivery when ABW called to set it up, and then delivery. The delivery team, Alex and his colleague, were friendly and professional, they unpacked the appliance and took away the packing material. Tabitha Bailey: Great service and very friendly installation crew. They had to work to find our water shut off because the one under the sink was inoperable and they did so without complaint. I would highly recommend ABW. We purchased all of our appliances from them 14 years ago and will continue to replace as necessary with them.

Spencer Davis: I scheduled service with ABW to resolve an error with my washer. They charged me $155 to come out I said ok. The tech came out looked at the machine and called Samsung. Then he told me either the tub was warped or my dampers were warn out. He charged me and left. He was at my house for 15 min. He did not reproduce the error. He did not look at the dampers. He did not show me where my tub was warped. All he did was make a phone call. I called them to see how much it would cost to fix it they couldn’t give me a price yet. I complained and they said they would send a senior tech out to confirm that is what is actually wrong. The way I see it is that I paid for them to make a phone call. Which I could have done or they could have done before they even got to my house. Note I still don’t know what is wrong. Is my tub warped? Are my dampers warn out? Or is it something else? Update: Senior tech came back and was able to provide a much more thorough look at my washer.

Margaret Jylkka: The ABW crew of three arrived around early evening and absolutely crushed/exceeded any current standard of customer service there is! They had to hook up the steam dryer to a water source and that required finding some extra parts( hoses?) They rigged the dryer door to open toward the washer😍 They tested both devices. You know the entire ABW experience from COVID safe showroom appointment to electronic notices ( loved the video visit prior to install to assure that delivery / install would go smoothly)has been a mirror of tonight: professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Wendy W: About 6 months ago, I purchased a Speed queen washing machine here. The people who work here are knowledgeable and honest. When I made my purchase after the second visit, there was a different salesman , but he gave the commission to the original salesman. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to purchase the washing machine voted best by women. The two gentlemen I spoke with here also highly recommended Speed queen machines. They were very articulate in telling me the reasons why while pricey, it’s a best buy. While Consumer Reports (CR) gives higher ratings to other brands, it, too, indicates that Speed queen is preferred by women. The machine I purchased less than 5 years ago was rated best overall by CR, and it did not get our clothes clean and often malfunctioned. I recommend that no one buys a washing machine with a short agitator. Also, why do you think most laundromats only have Speed queens?

Candice: I know I will always get good advice when I go into Appliance Land. I’ve ordered appliances there before, and delivery has been smooth. They were helpful when I was looking for an appliance to fit into a small space in my old home. I mostly appreciate the personal expertise available to answer all your silly questions, and the offer to look up multiple items availability.

Denna Lambert: Update 9/22: Delivery of both appliances is set for 9/24 and I’m pleased so far by house management at the AL Annapolis location worked to make this right. Update as of 9/8: I was able to speak with Chris, the general manager, and share my experience at their Beltsville location. He was very , open, understanding, and talked me through the concerns I had for the items I wanted to purchase and install. My impression based on this conversation has changed for the better and am hopeful I'll leave as a satisfied customer. Appliance Land had come recommended by local residents for their service. However, the customer service experience there was off putting and insulting. I appreciate the gentlemen taking time to speak with me about the options, but his demeanor aired on the side of abrasive and condescending. The information about the limitations associated COVID which resulted in limited inventory options was helpful. But when I asked him to clarify something he breezed through, he responded with "you weren't listening." I am visually impaired and have difficulty with hearing when people use the mask, which is something most people find challenging. So speaking more slowly would have been helpful. I did not need him insulting my intelligence with his attitude. I was ready to spend a good amount of money there based on the recommendation for this local business. But I was happy to leave and go elsewhere.

A year and a half ago I bought a microwave, the installation was on time, fast and efficient. Last week, I bought a new washing machine, it was just delivered, and again the installation was on time fast and efficient. Such a pleasant experience to deal with knowledgeable people, and effective installers.

life well Lived: My wife went there looking for a fridge in the beginning of July. We had heard great things from a friend buying for a new house. However, when there, the sales lady did not wear a mask and kept getting closer and closer to my wife despite her attempts to keep backing up. As we are a family with 3 high risk people, we take COVID 19 seriously. It was annoying to have the sales lady not follow the masking guidelines, and it cost them a sale.

Clifton Pleasant: Called to enquire about purchasing their products. The store employee was clearly aggravated that I was asking about this, and rudely informed me to "go find a dealer." When I asked if they have any dealer locally to recommend, I was told to "go find one online." Apparently they want to make purchasing their own products as difficult as possible.

Rachel Holmes: **Store review, not a product review** This store is very large and interactive. There is a vacuum station in which you can spill oats on carpet and hardwood and try out the different vacuums to clean it up. We did have to wait ~15 minutes for a salesperson to greet us, but it was Saturday and they were all working with other customers so this is understandable. We were offered free coffee, and there is water and chocolate to help oneself to. Very clean & fancy restroom as well. Overall a cool store, even better if you’re casually browsing Miele products

Robin T: If you are thinking about investing in a Miele product, I highly recommend you come to this showroom. We purchased a Miele dishwasher and loved it so much (after having a couple of Viking dishwashers) we decided to consider a Miele washer and dryer. The showroom person. ( I would not call her a salesperson because they do not sell their appliances from the showroom) spent an hour and a half with us going completely through the product line. You can even see the products fully demonstrated. We also discovered how to use our dishwasher and new Miele vacuum. After purchasing the washer and dryer from Strosniders. (Another great experience using their dedicated Miele salesperson Tony) Smart Kitchen did the Miele authorized installation. Smart Kitchen even came out 3 times to make sure everything went smoothly. The last time they showed us how to use the appliances which is the first time ever an installer has done that for me. I will say. All Miele appliances have many features and if you don’t take the time to have someone show you how they work, you are really missing out. My Miele showroom experience was world class service. The products are the best I have ever had. They are easy to use once you understand how. Ps. I had such a wonderful experience with Strosniders that I have purchased all of my Miele appliances from them.

velida kent: The Miele consultant sent me to buy their dishwasher at ABW appliances in Arlington, VA. where I received a terrible service. The Miele company should know that their autorized dealers are unprofessional and provide bad service. Bad service, bad communication, indifference, and low working standards. Unfortunately I paid for my dishwasher at ABW appliances place beginning of August. The salesman Spencer did not warn me that it was on back order. After numerous checks and call backs from me to them Aisha from the delivery department promised the delivery on Aug 29, only calling on 28 th to tell me it was backordered and they do not have it. She promised it on Sept 17 th. I called again, she promised to call back on Wed, did not happen, after my call again she told me the delivery will happen on Sept 24 th. Stay away from this business! Will never order again from them!

Brittany Harrison: This place was difficult to find. Park I. The garage around back, go up to leave two I. The garage to get to the bridge, then walk to the other end of the building once inside. They seem to be understaffed, it they are helpful and great at demonstrating the products and such. We found our trip to be helpful and will purchase.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Tesfaye Gari: I have a 3 year old Whirlpool Refrigerator and the ice maker stopped working. I called got scheduled but the technicians who came worried about only his $60 checkup fee and said the door needs to be replaced which costs $900 or more and additional equipments which adds up over the price of the refrigerator. Doesn’t worth calling Vision Appliance. I personally don’t recommend at all and if there was a zero star I would give that. Hope some one learn from my mistake
Response: We are sorry that you feel that way, but I need to clarify the status of your fridge. When the technician came to do the diagnosis, he realized that the problem was with the harness, some wires at the bottom of the fridge door were cut and that’s why the Ice Maker stopped working, clearly this usually happen because of owners misuse, by opening the door to the maximum extend and very strongly. The damage there will not be fixed by reconnecting or extending wires because it is dangerous and not reliable, since with the opening of the door the connections will expand again and get loose, this could cause an electric surge. The only way to fix this problem is to change the door, as the wires are permanently fixed to it. We have called you and left a message to contact us and we also offered to refund you the service charge of $59.00 but you did not come back to us. At Vision Appliance Repair, we take all reviews seriously and into consideration to improve our service, but we will not accept bad reviews when it has nothing to do with our technicians or service.

Shawna Gann: Not a bad showroom, but I wished that the tags were marked with the brands/manufacturers. While there were lots of chandeliers, we were on the hunt for single sconces for our home bar and only found lights for bathroom vanities and a handful of outdoor sconces. Prices didn’t seem astronomical, so that’s good, but we didn’t find what we were looking for, unfortunately. If you use Google maps to arrive, make sure you drive around to the front, especially if you’re coming off of I-395. Google led us to the back of the building.

Melissa Mattis: Save your gas and just look online, then buy elsewhere. They are overpriced compared to competitors (sometimes $100+ dollar difference). Their website is pretty handy. In person, I’ve never had such non-existent customer service. Went on a Friday at 11am, and they weren’t busy. No one couldn’t be bothered to even say hello to me and I stayed almost an hour.

Valerie DeThomas: No customer service. Not interested in your business. Recommend you go elsewhere. Went to check out TOTO built-in toilet/bidets. Explained that I had questions about different features, etc (some of those toilets are in the thousands of dollars, so yes, I have questions). After some time, the front desk associate printed stuff from their website (at least she recognised my presence!) although I have access to internet and can read things on their website. Two other people (supposedly sales personnel - they were sitting at desks, reading stuff) were not interested in me at all. Didn’t even make eye contact when I approached them. One of them reluctantly tried answering my questions but was completely disinterested in engaging with me, and ultimately did not provide ANY helpful information. I guess I’ll be going to W.T.Weaver & Sons.

Gloria E: I have bought a lot of things from Ferguson over the past year. For the most part I did not encounter any issues with the items that I purchased. The issue that I encountered recently involved a bathtub that was delivered on April 5th and was to be moved from the garage to my bathroom on May 4th. I did not notice when the tub arrived that they was a crack in the tub. From the way that the tub was wrapped I would not have noticed it. I called and emailed Ferguson Rep to let them know that the tub was cracked and she checked to see what could be done. The final response was that I still needed to pay $1334 for a new tub. Very difficult to pay for a new tub when I did not damage the one that is in my garage. All who are buying from Ferguson, check everything on arrival because either at 30-days you will still be required to pay for whatever was damaged in shipping.

Marko Mitic: Alright, I’ll be honest and straightforward. My 1* review is based on what kind of service is happening in store, not on product itself. First I was helped from tall gentleman, he was kind, helpful, good listener and respected my opinion! He will remember me :”He compliment my hairstyle also”. He redirected me to older gentlemen which lately disappeared and I was finishing with third guy who talk-so-much-and-never-stop-to-talk. He tried to sell me same lap top but brand new (I asked for brand new). After back and forward I said how they told me they have it on stock and I was waiting another 10min to find that one. Very shady, but okay, he tried. Listen, I am in store to purchase laptop, I asked simple questions, do not give me story “we are not on commission” and do not try to sell me warranty 10 times. LITERALLY 10 times. I am not kidding. Also he said I CAN NOT settle up monthly payment if I do not have Best Buy credit card and I need to apply for one. I literally was in store 1 h. At the end I got my credit card which I didn’t wanted. Not necessarily need it. He was laying to me and doing shady business. I am not purchasing nothing with that one anymore. So he did 2 things today, lost a customer because stupid cc and was lying there doing shady business and providing very poor and slow service. And make me to not use that card never in my life because interest on it🤷‍♂️ Y’all take care of your costumers and train your staff better. Because this is shame!

Michael Patrick: This specific experience here was less than desirable. I ordered a product online, the site said two were in stock. I arrived early for in store pickup. The sales rep went to look for the item. He returned and said that they couldn't find it, that there was one in the store but still couldn't find it. He said I could go to a different store with one in stock. I asked him to call the other store and confirm it is in stock to avoid repeating this experience. He refused, stating that the process does not work like that. He was more than happy to cancel my order altogether. Amazon will have it to me by 5pm.

Bret Bellamy: 3/7/22: After contacting both the credit card company and the Better Business Bureau, Best Buy HQ in Minnesota removed the duplicate charge and credited it to my account and now my balance us correct. While glad it is resolved, this should have been a simple change to make by the store manager without having to get the credit card company, the BBB, and corporate HQ involved. Adding one star to my rating since a satisfactory resolution happened. Prior review: I recently bought a new HP laptop at Best Buy - Falls Church. There was some confusion with the pickup. When I went to pick up my online order, there was a mix up and I ended up being charged twice for a new computer. I only bought one, but they had a record as 1 online purchase and 1 store bought purchase. I tried to resolve with the pick up staff and the "manager" on 2/26 to no avail, I was told it would be "faster" to use the 1-888-Best-Buy number. After 45 minutes on the phone with "customer service" and going through four people who were not able to resolve the issue, I was cut off while "on hold". I called the Best Buy credit card number (Citi bank) and finally got a competent person who was able to resolve the issue in three minutes and will contact the useless incompetents at Best Buy-Falls Church to delete the duplicate charge. I have been a Best Buy customer for eight years and I doubt that I will continue. They try to cheat seniors and then give them the runaround BS when trying to resolve an issue. The Geek Squad staff at this store is great, they are the only competent staff at this store. Don't shop at Best Buy-Falls Church!

Jessica McNutt: It's best buy. I only go when I absolutely must. Customer service is generally not good and, despite there being as many employees as customers, we always have to wait a strange amount of time to check out. If you can order online from somewhere else, do it!

Kristin Rever: Management needs to make sure employees are aware of services actually provided before saying a repair could be done. We had an appointment to repair my daughter's Smasung phone. He called on Thursday to verify this type of repair (replacement of motherboard) could be done. When we arrived the Geek Squad staff told us that unfortunately they did not do thus type of repair yet. The staff was pleasant and friendly and referred us to another location. This us issue could have been avoided if Best Buy was actually aware of the type of services they could provide. A waste of our time and gas.

Vincent Wagner: I went to the geek squad here because I was having trouble with an SSD install. They fixed the problem and offered to transfer the data from my old drive. 100 was a little steep for a simple data transfer but I was done putting energy. They assured me they could do it in a day. Once again, this seemed like a really long time for a data transfer. I didn't care so long as they had it done by the next day. The next day, they called me two hours before close and said they needed my Microsoft password to "make sure it boots up after the transfer". I said ok, I don't know my password but I will reset it and give it to you once I come pick it up. They assured me the they had already completed the transfer. When I got there the person at the counter harassed me to describe my computer after I brought in the paperwork they make you sign. I gave them my new password and they said that the data transfer did not take place and they will need an hour and a half to do the transfer. They would need to wait till the next day since it was close to close. I needed my computer today. Why should a data transfer take 48 hours. They do not communicate effectively. They lie. They don't care. Don't go here. Give your money to a local business.

K M: Disgusting customer service! I wish I could give them zero stars. Today I dealt with manager Mr Fathim, very disrespectful. Walked away from me when I had an appointment for a Samsung device repair, I get to the store and I’m being told they don’t provide that service. I’m being told I’m too loud and he refuses to give me his last name. Also geek squad member Asaf, same scenario, unhelpful, rude, can’t even greet me and refuses to give me his last name. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Please take your money to a different store. Preferably where the managers have manners and don’t disregard their customers.

Sharon: I really need to stop coming here. It gets no better. I had a very bad experience here compared to the Springfield, VA store. Margarita at the Springfield store was very helpful in me buying a new phone, activation AND set up/data transfer! And guess what, she didn't charge me $40 as this Falls Church store insisted I pay and insisted ALL stores charge this setup/transfer fee. So I buy a $1000 phone from you, case....and you charge me $40 to download an app and watch this app transfer all my data within 20 minutes?! Then claim, "every BB store does this?" GREED over customer service, Shameful. So glad I went to the Springfield location and met Margarita to take care of me!

Bo Grimes: Had the parts I needed for a dryer in stock for a great price. I had been looking around for two parts. Some places had one, some another, most had neither. Trible had them both in a single kit for cheaper than each individual part. All that gets them 4 stars. The 5 comes from the friendly staff who seemed genuinely glad I walked into their business. Plus they had been just as helpful on the phone and had the part set aside waiting for me.

Ty Crawford: I purchased a motherboard over 1 month ago. Due to Covid a worker told me to call to see when they could return the core. That was fine. I called today and asked "John" if they were accepting returns? His answer was... We are, but we aren't... I ask what does that mean? Then he tried to send me to another store in Alexandria. Who knows for what. He told me to bring the receipt and the credit card. I get there and he yells out "YOU GOTDA RECEIPT?" I handed him the package and the receipt. Then he tells me I need to write the CC# on the invoice. No security there. He leaves me outside waiting for about 10 mins. Then another worker ask if I need help. I inform him that John is helping me but I would like to get this item returned. Mind you this is a core return.. He looks at the box and ask why is the seal broken in an investigative manner. I tell him twice it's a core return. Then it sinks in and he says oh! He goes inside for a couple minutes. He returns and yells "I NEED THE CC AND EXPERATION WRITTEN ON THE RECEIPT" So I just ask for my trash part back. He ask what am I going to do with the part?!.. I ask him to give me my trash part so I can throw it away. Then he says ok Sir we aren't really doing returns right now. So I explained the way he and John were talking to me I will just throw the core away. Were talking $55. Im not letting them treat me how they deserve to be treated over such little money. If you read this save yourself from being verbal attacked for trying to do a standard business transaction. They will Tag Team you to Death. Amazon had the item, but I chose not to wait a couple of days. Learned a valuable lesson this morning. Save yourself the human interaction. Order online to be 100% satisfied. As soon as I could I threw that $55 core in the Garbage because it's really trash anyway! STAY AWAY!! You will thank me later.
Response: We are sorry for your frustration, but please understand we do not take control boards back if the seal is broken. I'd imagine that was his first reaction, until as you said, he realized it was a core return. We are still taking returns but due to the distancing requirements, curbside service can take a little more time. We do not keep CC #s on file and in order to process your return we need your card # as well as the expiration date to issue your refund.

Umar Sadiq: Even 1 star is too much. John is the worst employee that a company could hire. He should not have a job where he has to deal with customers. I am forced to go or call them 2 or 3 times a day due to my business needs but it is an experience every time I have to deal with John. I highly encourage ownership or higher management to pretend to be a customer and experience the joy that John provides
Response: We are sorry you feel that way. Please understand that the social distance guidelines have changed the way we must conduct business, which tends to cause delays on the phone. Also, it was an extremely busy day for all of our locations as it is the day after a long holiday weekend where we were closed Saturday and Monday. I gather John and the rest of the team were doing the best they could and we've received nothing but positive feedback from other customers that have dealt with John. We hope you will take all of that in consideration.

Each time they put me on hold. first time they hanged up on me after being on phone for a while. second time I got tired of waiting on them so hanged up and called them again. 3rd time I asked them to at least take down my number and call me back when they get the chance the guy said NO.

Please tell me when you called and if you by chance got a name. The manager in our Merrified store says all of her staff provides their name when they answer the phone.

Hum Singhum: I needed some guidance in purchasing wireless earphones. I was provided prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable assistance by Milton S. Although the product I ultimately ended up purchasing is available through several stores in town, after the assistance provided by Milton, I can’t not imagine having purchased it anywhere else. He answered my questions thoroughly and offered to research some more esoteric technical questions I had. What an impressive gentleman! If I had a store, I would hire this guy in a second… And no I don’t know him and I’d never met him before. He really restored my confidence in the ability of resellers like Best Buy to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Congrats to Best Buy in Tysons Corner for having the good judgment to hire such smart and helpful people. I know which store I will be going to for my next product purchase of this type.

Kheira Benkreira: I went in yesterday to return some items I wasn't able to use and I totally overlooked the super short return policy on the receipt. I didn't realize it was only 14 DAYS until I was at customer service. The rep who assisted me informed me of the policy but offered to exchange the item. While I wasn't happy about not being able to return, I was very appreciative to at least exchange. I have a toddler so I'm never sure when I can get out to run errands. Surprisingly Best Buy has a lot to offer so I was able to find something. Customer service inside is hit or miss, prior visits I get asked if I need help, this time I waited 10 minutes before giving up to check an open box tv price. Altogether, if you're 100% sure about a purchase and don't mind the 14 day return policy (longer if you have a membership) then I'd recommend this location.

Audra R: Nice staff, but the store is very poorly stocked. I'm on vacation and I left some charger cables for our fitness watches at home. The store had one for my Fitbit, but my husband has a Garmin Vivoactive 3 and he was out of luck. Thankfully there is always Amazon to fall back on.

That would make sense, right? The customer service for Best Buy in the DMV is notoriously trash. I really thought Tyson's would be better. It's ridiculous!! It only takes a LITTLE bit of communication.

Sgt. Quackers: My review is for the installation service. I booked the service online to install a Garmin camera in my 2020 Ford Explorer. Booking online worked fine. No issues, not a lot of available dates but it may just be because they are busy. I got several reminder emails for my appointment as it was two months out from when made it. The Friday before a Monday appointment they called me to confirm. They made sure I had all the parts needed and told how long it would take. Day of the started working on it promptly at my appointment time. They asked where I wanted it installed and provided advise where it should be. Once completed they called and I picked up my car. The wiring job was great. I can't even see the wire beyond where it leaves the camera. The camera is in a great spot, out of the way but also in the middle where it will capture the best video. I would definitely recommend their service for hard wiring a camera

rachel braley: I have been trying to get in contact with somebody from this store for over a week to no avail. All calls are directed to the call center, which would be fine, except no one at the call center knows how to transfer me to the store line except maybe 1 out of every 12 people. Not only has the call center been unable to help me with what I need (which is why I need to get in contact with someone from the actual store) they have placed me on the call back list probably 5 times in the last week and a half and I haven’t gotten a single call back. ONE person knew how to transfer me to the store line but when I called I was sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail with my information on the ACTUAL store line and never heard anything back. I cannot go into the actual store because I now live three hours away, so getting in touch with someone over the phone is really my only option. However actually getting someone on the phone seems to be impossible so I really don’t know what to do at this point. The call center itself has been a bit of a nightmare. They keep trying to find my “Best Buy account” except I don’t have one but they think if they look up my phone number for the 1,000th time it will suddenly magically appear. Talking to the call center makes me feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone with how many times I’ve had to tell them I DONT HAVE A BEST BUY ACCOUNT. And one person hung up on me when they were only able to answer my questions with “I don’t know.” Honestly ridiculous. I’m currently looking into buying a new computer and a new TV but it won’t be at Best Buy. I will be taking my business elsewhere due to how much trouble I’ve had to go through. It shouldn’t be this hard to talk to somebody in the store.

Dottie “Dottie” Mount: My Best Buy experiences have been hit or miss, but this location has removed any hesitation that I had about Best Buy. The young man that helped me, Ezra, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and made sure I got what I needed. I was very confused about what laptop to purchase based on my needs, and Ezra cleared it all up! He stayed with me, shopped on BestBuy.com until I found what I wanted. His customer service skills are exceptional and made me feel like I was the only customer. His follow thru and patience are worth the commute to this location! Thank you!!!

Houston: Yesterday, I had a great interaction in the elcectronics (PC/Laptop) section of the Best Buy in Potomac Yard (Alexandria VA). I was informed of products, directed to the appropriate section, and escorted to the cashiers counteres by Jefferey. He was a pleasure to be around and was very informative, sharp, and gave suggestions for a proper purchase. I left the store feeling comfortable with my purchase and will go back for further business. Thank you Jefferey!

Alexander Lazoff: Thank you so much for a great service, price and timely convenience. My oven broke out of the blue but was anyways over 15 years old and due for replacement. I was thus forced to replace all three units: microwave oven and cooktop. I was recomended to All Shore and am so happy I was. Joe was a true pleasure to work with. He had Jimmy, a 20 year+ experienced mechanic come over to survey my equipment the next day (who was so pleasant and easy to work with). 12 hours later Joe had the survey and I picked out a great triple bundle with Kitchenaid. The price beat both Home Depot and Loews and was in inventory. Best part, the next day it was installed. I’m extremely pleased with the price and service and highly recommend anyone in need to use All Shore. Thanks again team.

We are updating our kitchen and Larry was super helpful in the whole process of picking, ordering, and delivering/installing the appliances. Roger Tron: I was going to try this store instead of Mr. Jays. I went to the store on 5/5/21 at 3pm. There were three guys inside the store by the front counter. One older gentleman was at least half way wearing a mask. Another older gentlemen along with a customer (a fellow Asian, which I was surprised with) were not wearing any mask at all. Sorry, I believe in this day and age it is NOT asking too much to wear a mask inside a store that didnt seem to have any doors or windows open for ventilation. I did wait a good 10 minutes outside to see if perhaps it was a momentary issue, but no luck. I went to Mr. Jays to purchase my wolf product. Sorry, I wanted to support local, BUT they are not supporting the community by not wearing a mask inside a store.

Harry schwartz: What a great experience! Super selection and prices but the jewel of the store is Larry Nathan. A wealth of knowledge, fantastic personality and incredible customer service. We left feeling as though we got the best appliances for the best deal and exactly what met our specific needs. More importantly we felt like we just made a new friend!

SA J: This store and the owner Larry is extremely unreliable and provides bad customer service. We bought a Bosh refrigerator from him which was delivered with a defect on one of the doors. When we walked into the store the same day, Larry (after he was done yelling at another customer on the phone, BTW) told us that he has already put in a claim for us and took care of everything and it would take 3-4 weeks to receive a replacement door. 5 or 6 weeks after waiting with no updates and replacement, we called Bosh directly and they told us that no claim had been placed by anyone. Of course we had at that point missed the timeframe to put in a claim. This stores lures you in with discounts and then provides the poorest customer service you can imagine and is rude on top of everything. We do not recommend anyone to buy anything from this store.

Sandy Johnson: Don't step into this store. Larry, one of the owners is a horrifying person. When we first went to the store he was nice and said anything he needed to say to make business. He gave us some rebates and we purchased appliances for over $ 7,000 from him. His service after the purchase was terrible. When we went in for another purchase and asked him for a reduced price because we had found the product online for a lower price, he started out of nowhere yelling at me ( a woman! ) telling me I should go buy it online and get out of the store, he came very close to me and was pointing with his finger at me in the most horrific way possible while yelling at me. He called me and my husband "bastards", "penny pinching bastards" several times. He kept coming very close, yelling louder and louder. I was terrified, I called my husband immediately so he could hear all of that yelling and swearing and then walked out. I was extremely upset about how he treated me, I was shaking and scared. Never buy anything from this store. Larry is a horrible person who seems to have some real issues.
