Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

The Home Depot: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.

jamesbowdenjr: This is the worst Home Depot is in the entire country. I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.

Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.

Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

Acme Stove Co.: what do users think?

Doug Rosen (Arrowine): Acme is "old school" retail at its best. Tony knows his stuff. My Lopi wood burning insert is fantastic and exceeds my expectations. The installation was first rate. I would highly recommend working with Tony. From start to finish a job well done.

Ajay Taneja: I had a great experience with this store. Mike at this store helped and he is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Help me find root-cause of the fireplace need to fireback after years of being off - He advised to replace the On/off switch - and it worked exactly as Mike thought...great folks ...

Greta Brendley: I ordered a Hearthstone wood stove in basil green. We love the stove. Tony was SO helpful in loading it, tying it off and covering it in a tarp! It looked like rain and I had not properly prepared for it. Tony was so kind to this damsel in distress.

tyler kutch: This place has a huge selection of fire places. We came and were greated by Mike who went over the the different types of fire places. How we are going to use our fire place. And then made recommendations based on our answers. We had very good customer service. And would definitely recommend this place.

Jason Portell: Needed a fireplace in a pinch and Mike was able to deliver. Great pricing, knowledgeable & helpful. Definitely recommend.

Indranil Sen: Rude condescending sales staff. Nobody acknowledged when we went to the store. We waited for the salesman to finish his lunch and then requested help in selecting a fireplace. The salesman seemed to be not interested in helping and we got snarky answers to our queries. We felt unwelcome and was relieved to get out of the store. Avoidable place!!

Penny Eastman: Acme Stove did a fantastic job on our new fireplace doors! Mike was super helpful and his installation was terrific!! I highly recommend him and Acme Stove!

Bromwell's The Fireplace People: what do users think?

Jo Ellen Morell: We had excellent service from Bromwell’s, The Fireplace People. Emails were promptly returned and appointments were easy to set up. Two days after our appointment we had our new fireplace installed. Thank you for your customer service and quality product.

Chevy Cleaves: We had a great experience, from end-to-end, working with Bromwell’s and their amazing team! Bromwell’s was not the first company we visited so we were searching for our path to making a good decision. Debbie was outstanding; her integrity and her willingness to answer questions and help us understand our options sold us. In addition, Eric and Samuel were amazing with all aspects of installation. From their commitment to providing great service to their willingness to answer any questions that popped up, the way they both did their jobs really stood out to us and reaffirmed that we had made a good decision to go with this company. Finally as their team lead, Prescott set up both inspections and worked with us to navigate the flow of the installation process. We’ve had our system in place for two weeks now and it is perfect. We had a great customer experience and cannot recommend Bromwell’s highly enough!

Hang Iacono: I loved working with everyone at Bromwell’s — Brian, Prescott, Hillary, Kevin and Eric. From my initial interest to the final installation, everyone was super helpful and just a delight to work with. I realize this is the busy season, right before the holidays, but everything went super smooth even though there were lots of moving parts and different people that handle the various steps. They obviously communicate well amongst themselves so that everyone seemed to know what was going on with my particular unit. And they responded quickly to any questions that I might have had. I never felt like I was out in the cold. They really are the Fireplace People and the place to go to achieve your fireplace dreams.

Wendy Yurachek: We just finished having Kevin install our new Kozy Heat Roosevelt 34 and could not be happier with the experience. From start to finish the sales people (Brian and Debbie), the gas installers, and the actual unit installers led by Kevin were very knowledgeable, friendly and prompt in returning calls and e-mails. everything went smoothly especially because at every stage the workmen were prompt and in most cases early. We are very excited with the cold weather coming up. Merry Christmas to us. Paul and Wendy Yurachek

The Home Depot: what do users think?

beyondTabu: The customer service here is horrendous! The staff would rather watch paint dry than help you. I’ve been here on several occasions and their customer service is consistently non existent.

D Prince: Home Depot in Alexandria you have the BEST employees! I’ve been back and forth to this store for the past few weeks gathering supplies for my remodel. Lillian in the paint department was very helpful in assisting me with my paint colors. She made sure I bought the CORRECT base paint to mix with the colors I picked out for my home. Lawrence (gentleman in the pictures) assisted me EVERY time (and I mean EVERY TIME) I purchased items that needed to be put in my vehicle. And EVERY TIME he serviced with a smile (just look at the pictures). Lawrence is so attentive, respectful and helpful. He made sure the items I purchased were put safely in my vehicle to be transported! THANK YOU LAWRENCE!! And thank you Home Depot Alexandria for hiring such great employees who know the meaning of customer service!

Brian Copes: This is my main Home Depot I go to the Northern Virginia area. It usually has any home improvement or household item that I need for my place. My only issue is sometimes the staff is busy handling other customers questions to answer my personal question. Definitely one of top stores in the area in my opinion. I would recommend you come experience this store yourself.

John Dayton: UPDATE: After several months I was finally able to get this issue resolved!! Thank you. Updated to 3 stars. It took way to long and too much work to finally get connected with someone in customer service who was empowered to resolve my issue, but it finally happened, thank you!! Original Post: Bought a shower door last fall, Home Depot lost it before I picked it up… now I’m out $575 dollars. Managers won’t work with me. Told me I’d have better luck disputing with my credit card company than with Home Depot…then they fought me again there. And this is all after I reordered a second new door of the exact same model. Too bad no one is empowered to help their customers. I wish I’d never taken my business here!!

David Lawrence: I paid $160 for dishwasher installation, cleared my morning to wait for them to come, then the installers refused to do the plumbing. Nothing fancy, just straightforward install. I’ve heard of this happening to others. This is a racket! Stay away from appliance purchases at Home Depot!!

Amre Kebaish: Tread carefully when asking an idle associate about in item that is supposedly in stock according to the website/app, but isn’t available in the stated location. They will angrily glare at you for daring to interrupt their phone scrolling. If you persist, they will eventually sigh and put the phone down. However, they will say whatever it takes to get you out of the store without being helpful.

Russ Colbourne: How do you have half the isles closed on a Saturday morning???? All I needed was a adjustable wrench and they refused to allow me to get it. Totally would understand if there was heavy equipment or something like that in motion. I asked when the isle would be open again and the employee just shrugged her shoulders. I absolutely hate this location but unfortunately it the most convenient. I will be going out of my way to lowes from this point on.

Katherine Matsuo: Came in about 45 minutes before closing looking to buy a power drill. They were all locked up and spent about 20 minutes trying to find someone to help me. They then made the announcement that the store was closing and to bring your items up to the register. Again, no one to help me get the drill I needed. There were about 4 other people in the aisle with me. Decided to just buy one off Amazon as I left the store.

Fernando Espana: I shop at home depot around the country (I tour 11 months a year with an Entertainment industry) and always the best customer service & friendly home depot associate ayesha, very helpful and on point in every project planning when I need purchasing materials & tools. Thank you ayesha, great job!

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Joshua Cruse: Overall; Lowe’s as a company/brand has declined in recent years. In my recent experience, though, this location in particular seems to be the least reliable of all the stores in the metro DC area. Across departments, their inventory is grossly misrepresented in the app (by dozens), and the associates are generally not helpful in determining whether or not they actually have the items in the store. They are quick to blame “the system”. However, I’m not patronizing their system. I [was formerly] patronizing them. So, if it’s an issue with just this location; avoid this location. If it’s company-wide, avoid the company. That’s how consumers should react to their blame-game logic. At this point, it just simply appears Lowe’s is artificially inflating their inventory counts online to get customers in the door. That’s misleading and dishonest. Alternatively; the big-orange-box competitor’s site/app will direct you to contact the specific store if the quantity is low or out of stock. Still not as honest as a flat “we’re out”, but better than inflated counts. YMMV. Buyer beware.

Kwadwo Tuffour: Took this painting to figure out how to get it up on my wall, and to get the right kind of nails to do it. Sales associate was able to take me right to what I needed and shower me how to hang it. Mission accomplished. Bonus: Had a nice, brief conversation with the cashier, Radha about the different women in the picture. She recognized a couple and asked about a few, which i told her.

Jonathan Larson: Convenient location, but smaller footprint so not as wide of a selection as other Lowes. Staff are proactive, but minimally staff checkout lanes.

Dawn Wunderle: After more than 7 phone calls to 3 different numbers trying to schedule appliance installation, I was lucky this morning to have been assisted by Joshua Lewis in the Floral and Garden Department. Even though it is not his department or responsibility, he patiently worked through getting the dishwasher I ordered on January 13th scheduled for installation. If there were 10 stars - I would select all 10 for Joshua! Patient, courteous and helpful and he went above and beyond to assist me!

Yumiko Cook: I had outstanding customer service from Gretchen. All the time she was polite, friendly, and tried to find what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the store didn’t carry the fluorescent light bulbs. But she gave me more information of it about me to order it easier.

The Home Depot: what do users think?

john ho: The inventory is great. The store is a bit not clean. The store is not really well organized. The most important is the staff is not very friendly at. You are on your own when you visit this store.

Rony Acevedo: Worst customer service ever!!!!!! Being honest!!! Someone call Miriam! With a piercing on her nose. He had me waiting for 15 minutes. She only came because someone else call her. I told her I was there before the other person (she saw me all the time) and she said. I don’t care!!!! Tried to speak with someone else but no one help

Mena Ebiasah: When it was time to show my ID to pick up my online order, I realized ink had leaked all in my purse and license and obstructed the photo view. The rep June patiently took her time to wipe down my ink blotched ID until it was visible and gave me some extra Clorox wipes to wipe down my purse. Extra mile. Everyone else in the store were helpful and helped me find everything I needed. Will return

mydogRoscoe88: Much improved: parking is still crazy but once inside, store was in better shape. Cashier was helpful, polite, and efficient. I did find what I wanted to purchase and was done very quickly.

Elian Hauling: TIFFANY AT THE OXON HILL, MARYLAND LOCATION SHOULD NOT SERVICE CUSTOMERS IF SHE DOES NOT LIKE TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS. I came into the HomeDepot wanting to purchase a tool but noticed that no one was around to help with removing the tool and also the orange apron associates were busy with customers. I decided to go to “CUSTOMER SERVICE” to see if anyone can help me with taking the tool out of the cage. Once I walked over to customer service I politely asked an associate if there was anyone that can help with taking a tool out? She then asked me in what aisle was the tool in? While I was going to look and see what isle, there was another associate named TIFFANY who was next to the associate who I spoke with TIFFANY SAID THAT I PASSED 5 ORANGE APRONS BEFORE COMING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHY COULDN’T I ASK ONE OF THE OTHER PEOPLE WITH APRONS. I mentioned that I came to customer service because that is the purpose of customer service, to service the customer. I left and serviced myself in trying to find someone who can actually help me. TIFFANY SHOULD NOT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IF SHE IS NOT WILLING TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Tony Johnson: The check out lines are a tad perplexing. No designated demarcation only an arbitrary queue forming on the right so potential confusion is created but relatively easily resolved. Aka. They use a lot of self checkout.

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Coco Eva: Love this Lowes, they were super helpful. The lady was wonderful in the paint department. It turned out well and no primer was needed. Yeaaaaaaaaaa thank-you all.

Karen Parker: This store is always top notch! Wit in customer pick up could be better for orders placed on line. Over all , Good shopping experience the greeter was very knowledgeable and helpful. Directed us to the proper insert for what we were looking for. Cashiers technicians very customer friendly.

Dollrnia Butler: Everything was great except getting rung up The gentleman in flooring gave me tips. And he took the ceramic tiles up front. He was so nice. Needed another cashier. Had to wait around 20. minutes to get rung up. Man loading my truck apologized and was nice. Thanks

Ti Ow: Wow from the very first person that greeted me to the lady that helped me in the Key Department her name was Caroline.. they were all kind, smiling and made my shopping experience wonderful. She deserves a raise.. the other gentleman in the key Department were very helpful as well as I had to come back to pick up the key Finders and they were very helpful as well thank you thank you thank you all of you.

Africa Konjo: I had the best customer service ever by Adom! I was really anxious going in the store cause I was clueless and stressed out. I was cheerfully greeted by Adom. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable in the products I was looking for. He even talked to my contractor on the phone to make sure I was ordering the right products. He never got frustrated or annoyed by me when I asked him 101 questions. Thank you so much for making my experience so pleasant and stress free!

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Denise Anderson: Great place to shop, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to return a lock, I waited on a line for30min, which did not move. The only movement was more people added to the line. Absolutely frustration! I still need to take back the lock, but do not want to spend my entire day waiting in a return line. The need to hire better staff and pay them. Give so e incentives fir coming to work and doing a awesome job. Easy to take money, but trying to return is a beast

Jonas Kibet: Cool home improvement store. I can rate them better than Home depot. I love their app. So cool you can scan for prices of items on the shelf before you check out. The staff and wonderful. The only thing I didnt like was that I checked out an item online and says I can pick it up from the store but is nolonger available in the shelves.

Tyra: Lowes has most of those house hold things you need. To repair or restore. My last experience at this location was very good. Young lady tried to help me but she got someone who had more experience in plumbing who also tried to help me and explain the piece I was looking for. Unfortunately I had to get a refund. The lady who helped me with refund was friendly and nice as well.

Jerome Harper: Set out to fine me a ridding mower this morning , stop by Lowe’s on 301 in bowie. Was able to purchase one in about 15 minutes. And the service was great!! Thanks! Want to say thanks to Ms.Carolyn cashier 10 for her help this morning.

Jewel Jace: Customer Excellence! Thank you Dee and Denay for providing service with a smile! Thanks for being Kind! Dee you patiently matched the screws with the correct ones. Denay before Dee came along you were with another customer but you made me feel great while waiting. Dee appear and without hesitation offer to help. You both are an example of Operational Excellence! Many THANKS! I will visit and shop again.

Howard Batiste: I went here to get some grade 8 hardware for a project I have at home. It was significantly easier to find what I needed versus shopping at Home Depot and there seem to be a lot more available in terms of volume. Would definitely recommend here if you are shopping around for screws and bolts.

Sharon Harper: Eric and Johnathan was very helpful. 1 helped with the light bulbs/light fixture and the other with dimmer switches and face cover. You all need to have more than 1 register open on a Friday evening. Same on you all plus you need more associates working. People needs job.

The Home Depot: what do users think?

beyondTabu: The customer service is hit or miss. If you find a friendly CSR, they’ll show you where the item is, on the opposite end of the spectrum, they just point and mumble which is the majority of them. It has everything you need as usual. They just need to insist all staff are consistent with their service.

Daming Yu: Terrible. Customer service really needs improvement. Bought two items online. Didn’t work. Brought them to store to return and was told all good. Didn’t check the receipt until I got home and then I saw the refund is only for one item. I returned the next weekend and was told I am too late. No apology. It seems the company’s service has been steadily declining in the past few years.

Christian Adams: Yenifer is an outstanding employee and helped me to understand the current active duty benefits Home Depot has. She was simple outstanding and helped me out so much. I’m shocked she isn’t a supervisor or manager knowing two languages and so much about the store.

Syed Haider: Customer service is possibly the worst I have ever encountered. We had the terrible experience of speaking to a CSR by the name of Fabian. We had a simple question regarding some items at the Patio section, to which Fabian replied “are you kidding me? I’m not a carpenter”. We stated we weren’t mistaking him for a carpenter, rather seeking help regarding installation of the items as we were new to this. Fabian subsequently started reading prices off the rack as if my wife and I were mentally challenged. He kept uttering nonsense as we walked away. He was highly disrespectful and unnecessarily rude. I would definitely give this location a miss based on their unforgivable attitude. Thankfully there’s Lowe’s at Jermantown road which is a far superior choice for your needs and much better customer service.

stephanie wade: This is a horrible home depot store - the customer service has been terrible across every single employee I have interacted with over many visits. I keep going because it is close but no more. In my last interaction I spent 50 min trying to buy a grill with someone who told me they knew what they were doing and then after all that time did not and lied about what they could do, then when I tried to cancel my order they hung up on me and did not cancel it.

Denise Nguyen: My daughter and I were looking for a wood stain for a piece of trim to match our LVP floor. The staff were super helpful, but unable to find a match, until Kofi came to the rescue. Kofi was very knowledgeable and patiently opened and tested several cans until we were satisfied with the match. Home Depot Seven Corners, 6/9/22

Hua Huang: We met Ahmad, and he talked to us like our friend. We discussed flooring options for basement and We purchased traffic master vinyl flooring from Home Depot because we got the best service from Ahmad.

Ernesto Roubert: Great location and selections. Love the curbside pickup service. Have the app on your phone.

The Home Depot: what do users think?

Karen Nguyen: We have visited many times but this last time has been the best by far. Joseph, the employee in the wood section, helped my sister and I to figure how to support a queen mattress. We intended to buy two pieces of wood (79 inches × 30 inches) but realized after discussing with Joseph that we only needed to reinforce a few slats on one side. He saved us a bundle of money and gave us great suggestions on the wood we would need.

Tyrae Transportation LLC: I walked into this Home Depot to the customer service desk to ask a question, there were two guys standing at the counter. Ivan picked up the phone and handed it to another employee to make an announcement and walked away from me as I began to ask a simple question. This is the second time that I have had someone at this customer service desk act as if they did not want to service me and wait for another employee to do so. It’s rude and shows a lack of respect for customer service. Please remember every customer deserves attention and not discrimination.

Karen K: I purchased some plants and had 8 various gift cards. The cashier was very patient and friendly ringing up each individual one, including 6 $5 ones. Great selection of flowers also.

Alexa Starr: This Home Depot is notorious for being sexist and mi·sog·y·nis·tic to those who identify as female. My partner and I needed assistance finding a product, and while asking some employees to help us... were yelled at by both a female and male employee and were told that they would not serve us. Both of their attitudes were appalling at best. We were made to feel dumb and inferior while shopping there and did not appreciate being yelled at by two complete strangers who adamantly refused to answer our questions. A manager was also called but never showed up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

m Ch: Be away from incompetent employees on return and customer service srea MAE and MO . Useless, clueless if they can will charge you twice or refund less. Thank you to store manager to solve my problem so quick.

Gg Tt: The Home Depot at Fairfax Circle has what I need. The cashiers are friendly and knowledgeable. They always give me the 10% discount due to my veteran status. Today I was surprised to be offered a bit of help that I usually don’t see. This is the first place I look for my home improvement needs.

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Isata K: On Saturday, June 4, 2022 I visited this Lowes. Outside there was a grill advertised for $199. When I went to the customer service counter to purchase it, the woman working could not find it in the system. I was able to look it up and provide item number. Evidently the grill was actually $249, and was priced incorrectly outside. Matt, one of the store managers was amazing. He was able to ring the grill up for the price labeled outside. He went above and beyond to dismantle the grill hood, so it could fit in my SUV. He and another man were able to load it into my SUV without scratching my vehicle. He was very helpful and kind. His attitude was refreshing. I appreciate your assistance.

Niko Trowell: I just had the worst experience at lowes, I’m an electrician and I normally go to Home Depot to pick up wire but I needed some wire cut that they didn’t have so I went to lowes. When I got there I went to the electrical aisle 12, I waited for 5 minutes until I seen a sales associate. I asked if he could help me he said give him 5 minutes. So I waited 15 minutes before I went to the checkout lane for them to call for assistance. After that in waited another 15 minutes before i decided to go to customer service to ask for the manager. So i spoke with the manager who couldn’t assist me so they supposedly called someone for assistance. I waited there 10 minutes before I decided to leave. They wasted 40 minutes of my time just to have a wire cut I will probably never visit that store again this was the worst service I’ve had trying to buy something from a hardware store ever .

Lisa McCants: I ordered a stove on line for the Memorial Day Holiday and paid for haul away and installation. There was no mention of the delivery process. When the delivery person arrived and indicated he is here just to drop off the stove. It was conveyed he does not install and that is separate. I am perplexed as to why this is a two step process, and if I knew I would have scheduled them both the same day. The delivery person noticed damage to the back of the box and saw the stove was damaged. He took the stove with him as damaged goods. Now, I’ve been calling Lowes since yesterday and the phone just rings and no one ever picks up. This is ridiculous and I’ve called several times. Now, I have to go in person for one thing I ordered on line….Terrible I can’t rate this zero stars….Frustration overload…

Omari Black: Listen when I tell you 5⭐️ Service, go to the appliance section and see Mr. Brandon! From the Initial encounter it was top notch professionalism, customer service, and in depth knowledge of the products! I went in totally dum as to what I needed to get and he took his time and explain everything to me as far as my options, the quality and on top of that what was on sale at the moment. I will recommend anyone looking for any home goods to definitely go to the New Carrollton location and see Brandon asap!

Sergio Torres: Excellent employees great help i lost my recite and they came to help great experience thanks to all who helped us. Jose the pros manager was really helpful at Lowes. Thanks again for everything.

JLAX 27: The WORST customer service. New Carrollton MD Lowes has the worst customer service. Tried for 3 hrs to talk to someone at the store about a delivery that was continuously delayed. I had to call 7 times because no one would answer the phone and when they did it was just transfer and eventually hung up on. New management needed.

Captain Izabella Sparrow: Normally, I love this location. In person. Have been on hold for almost 40 minutes. I was just put on hold. No one asked if I minded being put in hold. Someone picked up and placed me on hold immediately after picking up the receiver. Sure, busy you are. But, unacceptable this is. Doing housework so I have time, today, while I listen to this repetitive, ridiculous hold music. Asking for a manager immediately. If no on picks up, corporate will be getting a call. This is too too unprofessional. Wish I could give them a negative 10 stars. -⭐️-⭐️-⭐️-⭐️-⭐️-⭐️-⭐️-⭐️-⭐️-⭐️ -☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆ 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Logan Hardware: what do users think?

Paul Durbin: If you want service and quick check out go to True Value on 17th. Completely different experience with knowledgeable staff ready for you at the door who will help you and then check you out right away. 100% of the true value staff knows their stuff. Here it’s mainly people who will just check you out and don’t know hardware. This place has equally good inventory and later hours, but it’s not a hardware store experience. And for what it’s worth this is an Ace Hardware, which advertises on Fox News, should you want to avoid supporting Fox.

Jim Parrett: Went there to get glass cut and paint matched. l was pleasantly surprised how helpful and courteous the whole staff were. They were able to take care of what I needed so I could finish my project. Thank you!!!

Aja Navat: Friendly staff and large selection of things. It is two floors.

Jacob Goo: So this is super weird but they sell the best cream soda at the counter. I love ace for being small hardware with a little bit of everything. Thx!

John Trissel: Good hardware store! parking may be challenging. They have a good selection for most small projects and gardening needs

Robert Bolen: This store is full of caring people and fantastic tools. On two separate occasions, Jorje has gone above and beyond to help me find the perfect solution. It is wonderful to have a local place where experts provide guidance in a kind, nonjudgmental manner.

Annie's Ace Hardware - Brookland: what do users think?

hahahas lkjhgg: Well stocked. And variety of items to choose from. The staff are always friendly. Every time I go there they will assist me with smiles on their faces. Highly recommend!

Nick Ewing: I always try to do my hardware shopping in this location. Employees are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Store is always well cleaned and well stocked. Perfect location to drop off UPS packages as well!

Chris Aresu: A+ neighborhood hardware store. The staff is very knowledgeable, and has provided help on a number of home projects where I’ve been stuck. Definitely recommend.

Lou Feagans (Louie): Nice selection of products, clean helpful shopping environment. However, they do not respect the Brookland neighborhood and place signs illegally on street lights and blocking sidewalks. Can not recommend supporting a business that does not respect the neighborhood within which it operates.

Stephan Roberts: Amazing service! I accidentally ordered the wrong thing for a project and Thomas and the rest of the staff made sure I got what I needed and delivered it the same day.

Conor O'Brien: A+ customer service It’s not the biggest hardware store, but they have an impressive amount of tools and supplies in the shop. Really helpful with regard to lawn care projects in particular. Great knowledge of local soil and the best grass seed for the hot summers.

The Home Depot: what do users think?

Sarah Marie Gerrity: We love this Home Depot! Recently moved to the area so we find ourselves at THD multiple times a weekend — and every time we’ve needed help, we just happened to get Jonathan! He recognized us right away and has made our shopping trips extra warm, and even went out of his way to help us sort out our military discount. Great customer service and it keeps us coming back!

Nsoseh Quistoran: Recommended to go shopping. Lots of people visit this store and it has a wide range of stuff

Reg Templeton: Convenient, Well-stocked, Nice Helpful Employees BUT... Filthy bathroom! During early morning visits two consecutive days this week, ladies room floor was smeared with what seemed to be fecal matter... Difficult to find a parking space where your vehicle will be safe from the scores of abandoned carts rolling around, regardless of time of day. Also, have twice seen rude clientele verbally abusing staff with vile, humiliating profanity (in Pro Dept), while other staff cowered in the background. In other settings this would be criminal behavior, but no one came to help the employee. For shame!

Jessica Vazquez: Picked out balusters for a stair project. Employee approached saying the aisle was being closed to bring an item down. We needed maybe 30-60 additional seconds and informed the employee we understood and were grabbing our last items and would quickly vacate. She stood there and repeated very rudely that the aisle was being closed. Maybe wait for the customer to finish their purchase? Especially when their hands were already full with product? Not as if we were just hanging out on purpose.

Chit Sayar: Customer service is very poor. I ordered online and they just delivered some of my order and one item was missed. So I called them and they hold up my phone for several minutes. And the employee said she will refund and hang up the phone immediately and no apology and no say thank you or anything. Just hang up the phone.

Chanpen Tee: This location always has a lot of indoor plants. The price is reasonable. Staff is helpful.

Petworth Ace Hardware: what do users think?

danceswithcars w: While the renamed store still hosts TheBikeHouse on the edge of the parking lot and tools inside, not much else has changed, afaict, still kind of unpaid day laborers in relation to a for profit store. When at Qualia it was coffee/light foods and taking over the back yard. This tools, supplies and learning some basic mechanics. How to change a flat. How a ratchet works. On up through what can be done with bikes... At times I wish TBH would takeover a foreclosed property and have a home... Until then I guess buy cold sweet liquids while baking to death in the heat without bathroom nor filtered cold water access. FWIW I was at the (original) opening with council member(s), food truck, etc. District HW (w 🚲), old Capital Hill Fragers that burned, saw deceased mayor there, etc.

Mark Pry: Excellent hardware store in the Petworth area that typically has everything I need. The staff are friendly and helpful. Chris was especially helpful when I needed to grab a few bags of mulch!

Kerry Keys: Staff have been friendly and helpful to me on several occasions. Chris was a great help recently when I needed to find the right size screw for my bike rack.

Denise W: Same nice store but they got rid of my favorite guy, Steve, who had been at that location for years. No one there has the knowledge he had.

mat t: Great having a shop close to home, open on Sundays, have what I want, friendly staff and not expensive. Done and back to the game! Thanks Ace and jneely!

James Rayford: The service was horrible. After standing in the isle for 8 to ten minutes I had go get someone and his response was go get it bring it here. Then finally coming to help with one item only he disappeared. So I walked out.

Ian C: Great selection and friendly staff. Chris helped me find the weird bolt I was looking for very quickly!

James Knupp: Everyone is always friendly when I go, Chris in particular has helped me out quite a bit.

Rinaldo Pressley (Rinny): Nice Hardware store in the neighbourhood prices as low as the Big competitors.

Glover Park Ace Hardware: what do users think?

Sam C: This is a great hardware store. Staff is helpful, selection quite decent, and right in my neighborhood. Could I save a little bit of cash by driving out to the deep burbs for the Home Despot or similar? Sure, but would I? Absolutely not. Icing on this cake: they always accept my Ace coupons, even if past their expiration date. Now that is ace in my book.

MAC Cover: I am rating Glover Park Ace location a 4 because the gentleman who assisted me was very nice in spite of this mean nasty new world we live in. The only issue I have was I placed my order for curbside but the store was unable to locate the order which caused me to go inside the store which I loathe. Love my Ace Hardware!

Campbell F: I love this place! The staff is usually super knowledgeable and helpful and you start to feel so collaborative that you want to come back and show them the results!

Matthew Berning: Good use of a small space, reliable place to pick up supplies for small home projects and interesting plants -though sometimes a bit disorganized

Rozan Cater: Although I requested curbside pickup, I had to go in the store. I was the only customer, tired of waiting I got the item from the shelf, showed the cashier and left. I seem to have interrupted break time. Not worth it!

John Thompson: The store staff was very helpful in locating some small clips that I needed to create a display

Jennifer B: I was surprised to see what a huge store was hiding here! Super helpful employees, too.

Hugo Toledo: Not gonna lie: one of the best places to go when I was in DC helping loved ones move in to a new place. Look: big box stores have their place but the number of folks available to answer questions and the depth of attention and knowledgeable service we consistently received on our 3…4 trips there make it a favorite. Check them out!
