Kiffa Shirley: Excellent service, clean store, full of big screen TVs ready for Christmas shoppers. If you’ve not been to the Columbia Heights Best Buy, is so convenient to the metro, and other shopping, and it put me in the Christmas Spirit.

Ricardo Matheus: So I walk in to shop for some apple products and I’m not sure if it is because of covid or what but there’s only like 2 people working there. I’m mostly disappointed in how no one tries to help. Not even to tell me to wait a sec because they are busy and they’ll be with me shortly. Just nothing. Not even sure they noticed I was there. Waited and walked around trying to get someone to get me the products I wanted to purchase but I mean, its 2022 I should have known better that service in the US is awful and should have just bought them online. I love Best Buy but definitely never buying anything in person again there. Shout out to the guy at the door, he was very friendly

Corey Moore: One of best best stocked, clean and friendly Best Buys in town! The people are helpful. The store is well stocked. The staff is very helpful. The online check-in for online orders & pickups, is awesome! They're really busy at times but the lines tend to always move at a pretty good place. Highly recommend this Best Buy location!

Lady Elexia: I love best buy as a rule, no matter where I find them. The columbia heights location is nice, but it is a bit on the small side. While I could find the basics, their selection of new items was a bit lack lusture. Customer service is always perfect, at least in my experiences.

Domane whom is an employee of Best Buy Columbia Heights was so so helpful, knowledgeable and kind and gentle! He rocks!!! 5 stars for Domane! I ended up purchasing the HP laptop that is 17". It runs smoothly and has been the perfect choice for Online School. I also purchased the Microsoft 365 Home Version which was a great investment too. Also I paid to be a TotalTech Member. Feseha Ayele: I went to the best buy store which is located at Colombia height to get the phone that I paid online. They told me that there is activation problem and I waited more than 2 hours without any solution even the store manager couldn't solve the problem. It was a good deal that they posted online. It's really disappointing not to get any solution or reasonable answer about my order. Which is $999 online with activation and they told me to pay $1799 in the store.

Alexis Smith: horrible customer service. I wandered around looking for an employee to ask for help and they all ignored me. Finally someone answered and she said she’d send someone to the home theater section to help me but of course, no one was there. The Best Buy in Tysons is so much accommodating and friendly. If you want a good experience, just avoid this place

Dawn Develin: Mack was amazing. He sat with me patiently and help me with my phone purchase. I very confused and not very savvy with technology and he treated me with respect and help me through every step without getting frustrated. Overall everybody at Best buy has been phenomenal but he went above and beyond.

John Newman: Nobody asked if I needed help. I finally left and ordered what I needed from Amazon. Horrible location. Thugs and hoodlums everywhere. The whole place reeks of pot smoke. Frightening place. There was a "security guard" (I use that term lightly) sitting on level 2 eating potato chips staring at his phone. I was afraid I would be mugged or shot at any time. Avoid at all costs.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Pamela Sommers: Excellent sales and service but stay away from the extended warranty. For my gas Samsung range, the warranty does not cover the knobs two of which broke. Consumer Priority Service (CPS Customer Service) was extremely difficult to deal with in terms of responsiveness and attitude. Read the warranty carefully, it is more like a transmission warranty for your car. Knobs are specifically excluded and not deemed to be a functional part. I feel that I wasted the money ($125). By the way the knobs cost $25 each and I needed two. M and M did not push the warranty and I have nothing but praise for the store. It would thrill me if they stopped using CPS.

Lucas Horne: M&M Appliance is everything a local appliance store should be. I called and immediately got the store manager on the phone (not by complaining, that's just who picks up the phone!). My washer had broken and he knew exactly what was in stock that would fit my needs and gave me a few options along with the prices. He had the washer delivered right away, then ordered the dryer since it wasn't in stock. Given the issues with appliances in late 2021, this was a pretty incredible feat to get a washer replaced with pretty much exactly what I wanted within a week. Communication, knowledge, and inventory was top notch. While I'm at it, all I've ever heard from old-timers is how great another local appliance shop is (B&S...). Back in the day I think they used to be a small, local appliance shop like M&M, however they've grown to the point of which nobody has any idea what's in stock, how long items will take, or even what appliances exist (they literally ordered me a dishwasher model that never existed and led me along for months before I went in person to see what was going on). Over the last 5 years I've had numerous friends (including ourselves) that have gone that route, and not a single one has had a smooth process. There is a huge amount of value in a place like M&M that knows the ins and out of their operation and can make sure everything goes smoothly throughout the process. I only bring this up to point out that there's a huge difference between a local chain, and a true local shop. M&M is the latter, and you can tell that with every interaction. Thank you Eric for all the help and communication along the way!

M Smith: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I always pay attention to reviews and having a 4.4 review score was not alarming to me so we decided to use M&M Appliances. The order process went smoothly. However, after working with this company during product delivery, I totally understand why they are NOT the company to hire for your investment in new appliances and the negative reviews that appear on Google. My husband and I ordered 6 major appliances from M&M. When the first 3 appliances arrived, 1 of the 3 appliances was working. The dishwasher was installed and we were unable to use it. There was an error message on the machine when it was turned on. The washer was installed and did not work at all. When we called M&M to address the matter, we were told to call GE because they don't fix appliances. We are beyond frustrated with this company and will be canceling the remainder of our order. If you expect high quality service and products, DO NOT USE M&M Appliances!

Marlene Azer: I had an amazing experience getting our appliances here. We completely renovated a house and needed everything (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, washer/dryer) under a pretty tight budget and time frame. We needed things delivered the following week! Our sales associate took their time putting together our list of appliances with our time and budget restriction in mind. Brian very patiently looked through all their warehouse items in the area so that we got everything we needed and we are extremely pleased with each appliance we’ve purchased. He also made sure we had everything needed to install the appliances. The prices were excellent. I will definitely come back if we need anything else in the future.

They seem to be focused solely on sales and not the necessary follow up.

William: Panic purchased an oven because I broke part of the outer glass trim on my unit a week before Thanksgiving. Decided the next day to repair my current unit and was able to cancel the order with no hassle. The specialist I dealt with was fast, professional, and very understanding. I appreciate dealing with people who understand that customers make mistakes and are still treated with dignity and courtesy.

Julie and Avner: We just had a really terrible experience with M&M Appliance. The washer and dryer that we purchased recently are malfunctioning badly. When I called M&M, they told me that I had to go through LG for warranty work. They gave me the name and number of the contact person in our area that does LG warranty repair. When that person finally called me back (a week after I initially called and only after I made a second call), he told me that he is NOT a warranty repair person for LG and was confused about why M&M was giving his name out to customers. I then called LG and they were on the phone with me for 45 minutes "diagnosing" the problem and then told me that they would make an appointment for a repair person to come to our house. I asked for information about the person coming to the house, and they said they could not give me any information about the person or the company -- such as where they are located. I then asked whether they could "dispatch" my service to an LG service company located near my house (that gets good reviews on the web), and they declined to make the referral and wouldn't tell me why. While I was speaking to the LG rep, the washing machine began to seriously malfunction in front of me (almost flooded the basement). After all of this, I called M&M to tell them that I had no confidence in the LG repair service or the machines and I wanted to return the machines. The sales person (Todd) told me that once a machine is installed, M&M has nothing more to do with it (unless the problem is an installation problem). They will not accept a return of the machines and will not do anything to help me negotiate with LG. We usually buy our appliances from Bray & Scarff which has always had impeccable service. I only tried M&M because I read a strong recommendation for these particular LG machines from the NYTimes and Bray & Scarff doesn't carry them. What a mistake. The worst part of all of this is that M&M seems to take no responsibility for the products they are selling. Do yourselves a favor and buy your appliances from Bray & Scarff. I will never stray again.

Bob Farrell: My experience of buying a washer and dryer from M & M Appliance was a great experience. I had visited and read the less than stellar reviews of Home Depot and looked for a better option. The reviews for M & M were excellent and I could not agree more. The website was informative and I began an on-line chat with Todd. Todd was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish and top-notch. The delivery and installation was flawless. I was so impressed I am writing my first review. You can't go wrong with M & M Appliance.

I received the links within minutes; called Paul back and we set up an appointment for a field measurement...all in a timely manner. Like I said, he was quick and efficient; plus he was professional and pleasant to work with. We have purchased other appliances from Bray and Scarff. We are always satisfied and they continue to exceed expectations. Paul certainly is living up to Bray and Scarff standards....I look forward to working with him as we find a new oven.

Marc Bloom: On 1/22/22 I called Bray and Scarff and reached Paul Walterhoefer who has assisted me with appliance purchases in the past. I needed a new electric stove QUICK for a house I’m about to sell in about a week. Paul swung into action, emailed me links to 3 viable options and I quickly chose and paid for one. Paul arranged for white glove delivery for 1/28, the exact day I needed. This was customer service above and beyond and I’m incredibly thankful. Six stars for Paul and Bray and Scarff. william lewis: Greg C was the knowledgeable sales person/store mgr with whom I ordered my replacement washer/dryer - same brand and style as 11 years ago since I was so satisfied the first time through. Then I had the good fortune of having the Stan and Moe team to deliver and install into my tiny second floor wash room - they did an amazing job in squeezing in there and not damaging any of my rugs or other items. Plus they were delightful! All in all a great experience.

Ellie Rutledge: Run far away from here if you want reliability or good customer service. When my appliance did not show up on the scheduled delivery date, I was in contact with the store for months trying to get more info about what to expect - especially since I was told it had arrived when it had not. I completely understand supply chain delays are out of all of our control and I have no issues with that, but the lack of communication and to be quite honest, direct hostility toward me when I tried to find out information, was baffling. In the end, the manager told me "It's not our job to communicate until we receive the shipment" and "I don't see how bad customer service is our problem." The rot comes from the top and all the employees are encouraged to not see customer service as part of their jobs.

S L Jones: I waited for the install to leave my review - the purchase experience was fine, but the install was never completed as discussed when being advised during the purchase. I was told they used the GE standard slide in range kit to make sure I wouldn’t have a gap between the counter where food etc could fall into. The installers said they didn’t have the standard plastic piece with them and it wasn’t on my invoice. They measured for the piece to address the gaps and said they would need to come back - I called and emailed and there was no response - I will need to finish it myself. 4.5k for a range and a microwave “mostly installed” wasn’t what I was expecting.

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

Jeff Rueckgauer: Needed a red 10 cup Brita pitcher. App says there is 1 in stock. Not on the shelf. 4 associates said they couldn't help but would page someone for the aisle. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to at least arrive, even if they have to look further. This HD had been really good for many years. The pandemic is no excuse for just unhelpful people and plainly unconcerned, inept management.

Rickey Anderson: I went to the Rhode Island Avenue store it was good. What would made it excellent if their stock was current with the website. They didn't have it even though the computer said they did have it. The item was Sphagnum moss. Happy that I was able to find a few other items

Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.

jamesbowdenjr: This is the worst Home Depot is in the entire country. I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.

Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.

Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

Kim T: The sales team were great, they knew their stuff and knew how to sell. The store was well managed. But as for the product itself and the customer service after buying, I would say it's 1 store if anything Bought my washer dryer new in August 2021. Burned areas of my clothes for 2 months. Tried to adjust the settings (we thought maybe it was set too hot) since we can't believe that a new item would be defective already. within the 3rd month of owning it, it died on us. This was supposed to be brand new from AJ Madison but I think we got a used one. It's under warranty but customer service took about 3 weeks to get back to me. Then I had to schedule a third party repair, which took another 2 weeks. Found it it was a used thermal fuse and will need to be replaced. It's now January 2022 and we don't have a dryer. Horrible.

James McCarthy: Believe all and any negative reviews about AJ Madison. We determined that it’s customer service does not exist after hours wasted on hold. Having paid an installation fee for a range, it turns out Madison failed to advise the installation company that the range did not come with a power cord. $380 of costs for an electrician and parts over and above the installation fee.

Ken Ryder: I was hesitant to do business with them after reading some of the reviews. I can't speak to the experience others have had, only mine. Everything about the process has been top notch. Aaron at the Tysons location was very knowledgeable and helpful. They had a Lynx grill in stock that other companies had a 12-16 week lead time on. The delivery process was seamless with regular text updates on arrival times. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend AJ Madison of Tysons Corner.

J G: FANTASTIC!!! My Appliance Consultant (Brian M.) was absolutely TOP NOTCH!!! He knew a great deal about all of the appliances and was able to make suggestions based on sales AND personal experiences with many different types and brands. I ended up replacing MORE appliances than originally planned because the prices were great and I was able to get the appliances when I was ready for them. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND A.J. Madison for all your appliance needs. Also, I had two different deliveries and BOTH times the delivery guys were GREAT!!!

Chas Webster: Worst customer service ever. We own a lot of properties… commercial and residential in Va and California. We started dealing with this company a year ago and have orders thousands of dollars worth of appliances. Still waiting months later, but that not even the issue. We had a fridge/freezer show up on site and had paid a ridiculous amount to have it moved in and they left saying they needed a third person… tried to charge another $450 dollars for another person!!!???? I finally got ahold of a manager named Michelle and once she saw how much we were ordering and found out about the other buildings we had under construction she told me she’d take care of ever and I would be in touch with their Pro Dept and they’d send gift certificates… how sorry they were… and finally, she’d get back to me in two days. That’s over two weeks ago and I’ve spent over 3 hours in the phone and either gotten to talk to someone who puts me on hold and I get disconnected… or accidentally hung up on…. Or have left countless messages that no one gets back to. I’ve emailed and tried everything else and still NOTHING!!!! I sent a company wide email to not order anymore of the for products. This is embarrassing and this company will not last if this is how the treat people and especially large buyers. Truly pathetic for a company of this size.

S. Ryan Shin: I searched Cafe refrigerator by GE and learned about AjMadison. I was not sure for the first time due to sub-optimal reviews on Google, But it was a very satisfying experience from ordering, tracking delivery progress, and delivery. Especially, the delivery team was the best. I am very satisfied with AjMadison. I am not going back to BestBuy.

Denise Tolliver: I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this store. I purchased a dishwasher that was delivered on December 9th damaged. They're installer said he could not install it because it was damaged. I alerted AJ Madison, filled out the forms, took photos and submitted them. I have yet to receive a call about this issue from anyone. Every time I call, I am left on hold and put back in the cue with people ahead of me. I cannot even give them one star.

Adam Miramon: We ordered a washer and dryer, and we expected delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We were notified our appliances were in stock and ready for delivery. The morning of delivery we were informed that it would be a partial delivery. It took us three phone calls to determine that they were unable to find the dryer and the stacking unit in their warehouse. We were notified, they would still be delivering the washer and picking up our old units. The delivery window expired and we received no update on the status of our order. When we looked online, we were delivery stop 11 and the delivery truck was on stop 13. We attempted to reach customer service but were unable to get through until the following morning. We were told someone would contact us within 24 hours - we received no such update Two days later, it took us three more additional calls to get through to someone, and we still do not know the status of our order. Every time we have been transferred to the delivery team, we are sent to a voicemail (which is never returned) or the phone line drops. I just finished speaking with a customer service representative who is unable to update us on the status of our $3,000 purchase (Order #140026475) This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. As mentioned, we expected delays because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but they have failed to adequately communicate delays in delivery.

Joseph Paris: Spent close to 3 hours trying to get through to online chat or phone sales rep to place an order but was continually disconnected by the agent. Save your time and go to a store with better service such as the manufacturer, Home Depot or Lowes. Clearly a company that cannot manage well so I can only imagine the heartache of trying to contact them after delivery and install of goods.

Sanjay Desai: Adrian in the Tysons location was an amazing salesperson. The best and most knowledgable of all the people we have met across other stores in the region. We highly recommend him.

Tiffany Gilbert: My experience with this company was absolutely amazing. GP's customer service was second to none. My husband and I were having a difficult time finding the appliances we needed for our home. Even though Allstate didn't have the appliances we needed either, GP not only explained what we needed, he sent pictures, measurements, and a list of stores that would have the appliances for the best prices we were looking to purchase. I would highly recommend.

Lauren Kardos: GP and the team were THE BEST to work with. From exploring options to replace our broken oven to all the communication and scheduling delivery, to the delivery itself, everything was so seamless and personable. Our kitchen is an awkwardly shaped galley, and All-State took the time to explore all installation options for minimal invasiveness (i.e. not having to move our refrigerator). We will definitely be back when we’re in the market for new appliances.

His refrigerator was failing quickly and, like others have noted, he was able to get a new one in record time and for a fair price! The team went above and beyond. I recently purchased several appliances in a bundle for one of my properties, and the price is simply unbeatable. Initially, I wanted to leave a four star review because of some issues I had with the delivery, but as a business owner myself, I do understand that some factors are simply beyond our control. I was pleased that Jay gave me his cell phone number and contacted me regarding the delivery issues. He kept me updated, and we were able to resolve the problem. Overall it was a good experience, and I strongly recommend this company, I'll certainly use their services in the near future.

mary anders: After Home Depot failed to deliver my appliances for the third time, without notifying me that they wouldn’t be delivered, I found All State Appliance Center online. They had everything I needed in stock and for a very fair price. They were extremely helpful and efficient and I was able to order and pay for everything within a few minutes. Within a few hours of first contacting All State Appliance Center, my appliances were installed in my kitchen!! I couldn’t be happier and they will be my new “go to” store.

World Traveler: Knowledgeable and attentive service. Bought a Miele washing machine here and got it delivered. From start to finish, the experience as been outstanding. No pushy sales rep., very professional. Eric has been beyond patient with me, for which I’m very thankful. His team delivered and installed the washing machine with white glove service: courtesy call 20mins prior to arrival, protected my floor (no dirty shoes in the house! ;) and ensure that all my questions were answered. I would definitely use them for all my future appliance needs.

Garzhul: Great experience buying, terrible experience afterwards. One of the appliance I purchased was defective; they wanted nothing to do with it and just directed me to figure it out with the manufacturer. Pretty poor business practice.

Daniel Temme: I bought a $3600 LG refrigerator from M and M in August 2021. The refrigerator arrived and was installed but had a scratch on the left door so I called the sales department on the matter. They immediately ordered a new door which arrived about one week later. When the M and M servive technicians came out they informed me they had to transfer all the components from the old door to the new door as the new door was just a shell. However, it appeared they never replaced an LG left door before because they had difficulty pulling out some of the components like the display panel and when they did they finally did it was nicked and scratched but likedly most of the damage was on the backside but still visible. Further, they had difficulty in leveling the doors and when they finally did they placed the refrigerator in crooked. I called the sales department again and they said someone would come out to fix the issue but I never heard from them again so I decided to hire someone to fix the installation and make sure the door were level. Very disappointed because I decided to go with M and M to purchase the new refrigerator I thought we would get better service than if I bought it at a chain home improvement center..

Kim Sheridan: I recently purchased a washer and dryer from a big box store. It was a terrible enough experience that I canceled my order after two failed delivery attempts (who only brings a dryer?). I’m so glad I had found M & M during my search. Eric was able to take my order over the phone, asked the right questions, and simply put, was nice and professional. Everything was delivered yesterday. Delivery wasn’t going to be an easy feat—going to the 3rd floor of a DC townhouse. It was a tough job for two guys but there isn’t a mark on my walls or floors. They were careful in the removal and I was able to re-use the pan that was there. This is a stacked unit, in a hallway closet. I didn’t watch but it’s all there shining and new and ready to go. This is a high- end appliance store but they had what I needed at a competitive price. Plus, it’s nice to shop local.

Beverly Lemon: If anyone is looking for new appliances, I highly recommend M&M Appliances located at 817 South Washington Street, Old Town Alexandria (next to Southside 815). I purchased a new GE dishwasher on May 6 and Manager Eric Mattsson was exceptional in matching and finally beating the price of Lowes and Home Depot. Luis and Carlos were great at delivery and installation on May 12. My one suggestion is to ensure they have the high drain hose bracket with them so they don't have to return another day. I would definitely buy from them again.

Mary Kenkel: If I could give them zero stars I would. We purchased a machine from them (and other appliances as well) a year ago. We use it in a commercial setting, and asked for a commercial washer. Was told, no don't waste your money, big families do 10 loads a day, its ok if you do three loads a day. We will get you a commercial warranty. A year later our washing machine started to fail - won't complete a cycle. Error code keeps coming up. So we call and ask for our warranty repair. Some guy comes out, spends three minutes, says the drain is clogged and that's the problem and we shouldn't be using it in a commercial setting. Five minutes after he leaves, the washer does the same thing -- Error code. We called M& M and explained the issue and they said maybe their person would come out. Nope, the warranty people send out the same service guy again who again spends three minutes, cleans out the drain and says it's fixed. Five minutes after he leaves, the washing machine again stops with an error code. There is obviously something wrong with either the computer or the drum. All of this has gone on for a month. I have called M&M appliance several times, asked for the owner, they claim they are working with the warranty people. The warranty people again put in a ticket and email us immediately after putting in a new ticket saying that the washer is repaired -- NO ONE HAS EVEN SHOWN UP!!! Bottom line, we purchased the machine that we were told to purchase. Then the sales man tells me today, oh well you can purchase a commercial washer -- seriously????? I said sure take back the washer that you sold me and refund me and I will purchase the commercial washer. The run around has been unbelievable and we have purchased several appliances from these folks. Obviously they give bad advice and don't stand behind their warranty. Per your response which is over two months later. Patrick did NOT discuss the initial purchase, I did and it was YOUR salesperson that said we didn't need to purchase a commercial washer that we could get a commercial warranty. That warranty which we paid for, was as useless as the paper it was written on. Your company did NOTHING after multiple requests to fix the machine -- you could have sent someone out to fix it yourselves, but no. The fact that you think that over two months later you think we are still without a washer is as absurd as the rest of your response. We purchased another washer after trying desperately to get the one that you sold us fixed. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

He asked for a commercial washer due to the nature of your Doggie day business, but was unwilling to pay the premium price for a commercial washing machine. My manager sold Patrick an LG washer because of the capacity you required, with the caveat that he purchase a commercial warranty for the machine, which he did. Heather Wanser: I purchased a refrigerator, an over the stove hood, and a dishwasher in the Fall of 2016 and am very happy with all my purchases. M&M prices are competitive with Home Depot, Lowe's & other suppliers plus M&M has great customer service. Eric was very helpful and even directed me to a dishwasher that was less expensive than the dishwasher that I planned to buy. It is worth your time to give M&M a try.

david zand: I found Eric at M&M Appliance to be knowledgeable about the kitchen appliances we needed. He voiced pros and cons of each appliance. We went with a particular suite of appliances which were much cheaper than where our contractor recommended we purchase them from. Also, Eric pointed out a second rebate we would not have known about (which has been processed) netting us an extra ~$700. M&M kept our appliances in storage a little longer than normal with no issue and delivery was timely and excellent. Very glad I found this store and supported a local business, all the while receiving great service at a discounted price. A+!

Joe: We purchased a washer and dryer from Candy’s last year. Eric was very helpful while we picked out the model and delivery was easy. The best part, though, was the customer service that followed. The dryer stopped working while it was still under warranty, and Eric was extremely helpful to us. He helped schedule the appointment for the Samsung rep to come to our home and because we can’t access our cell phones during the day, he made sure to leave messages on both cell phones and send emails to ensure we were all on the same page. Of course we had many questions and he was quick to answer all and never made us feel like we were a burden. He also loaned us a dryer to use since the first available appointment was 2 weeks out. He had already made the sale and it was Samsung’s responsibility to cover the warranty, so he didn’t have to go out of his way at all--he had already made his sale. But he did and we appreciate so much. We would have never gotten this level of customer service at a national chain. So happy we went with Candy’s and we highly recommend the selection, price and customer service they offer.

Michelle Krisel: From the moment I walked into the Alexandria store, I knew we were in good hands with Eric. Despite several failed attempts by Bray and Scarff to get our large Viking Professional refrigerator down our stars, in 20 minutes, amazing Joe had it dismantled and out of the townhouse. Neither he nor Luiz, who delivered the new refrigerator, left a scratch and both were thoroughly professional and helpful. I can’t recommend M & M more highly and will certainly return the next time I need a new major appliance.

Paul Bean: I bought three appliances wirh Bray & Scarff: a refrigerator, range, and microwave in February 2022. Sandy absolutely was the best salesman a customer can work with. His gentle spirit doesn't even make you think he is making a sale because I think he genuinely cares for what is best for the customer. Even when I made multiple changes to my order, Sandy never hesitated to make the change with a positive attitude and did it all with a smile. I had some minor delivery hiccups but Sandy made sure to address them directly with the delivery teams while I was on the phone. Bray and Scarff doesn't subcontract the delivery and installation portion so you get slightly better delivery as they oversee the entire operation. Another positive for me was Sandy's ability to give me a price that beat the competition for every single appliance. Sandy's responsiveness before and after my order was delivered was top notch, he even helped me with rebate paperwork. I know was a slightly difficult customer and Sandy handled the entire experience with utmost class, care, and enthusiasm; thank you sir for helping me with my kitchen remodeling adventure.

Cheryl Dunn: Well we had to go through some changes. The first machine I asked for was on order. It came in. It was brought to me but it would not fit the space. No complaints at all from the service installers or my salesperson. Katie found they had a front load machine in stock. It was delivered the following week and set up. Good machine but it shook my home enough to make things fall. I asked for help and Bray & Scarff sent a couple techs out. They got it very leveled up. It does a great job now. I'm glad I contacted Bray & Scarff for my washer.

Bob Adamson: Bought $6000 worth of new GE Cafe Series appliances in 2021. The refrigerator has had to have a fan motor replaced and the motherboard for the ice/water dispenser replaced. Both repairs took over a month to accomplish. The dishwasher was installed two months ago and worked only once. We have attempted to have it repaired a few times and were told on the last attempt that we would need to replace the entire front panel/ door. We have a factory replacement scheduled for next week and hope to have a working dishwasher in place by March 2022. Overall we are very disappointed.

John Michie: The experience was great, however we were sold the extended service for our dishwasher as "no risk" and told that if we didn't use it, they would refund the cost. Nope. They also sent a team to measure our kitchen for remodeling, they didn't give us an arrival time. We were on the way home when they called and said they were at the house. We said we were on our street and would be there in minutes. They said they couldn't wait. They drove off as we pulled up.

Jeremy Stillwaggon: Not ready to start the remodel but the old fridge is going… We had a series of bad interactions trying to find a refrigerator that would fit in our Condo. The dimensions just prevent a wide range of options, and we are usually left with either Builder Basic or high end Cafe models. We tried shopping online and visiting showrooms and kept getting met with the upsell or dismissal. We had one salesman ask us why not just remove the cabinets? Already frustrated, I called Bray&Scarff and Ali answered and was immediately understanding and helpful. He cautioned about general availability but promised he would do what he can. He jumped right in and started searching. He was patient and reassuring as he kept at it and never made us feel bad for just wanting a simple model. He found one that fits for a very reasonable price AND he found us the matching Microwave AND he was able to give us discounts on the price AND it can be delivered /installed this Friday! AND he even made me laugh at the situation. It’s reassuring that customer service isn’t lost in the pursuit of sales; I will be back when we do our remodel and would give highest recommendations if you are having problems shopping for appliances to call/visit Ali at the Arlington Bray&Scarff.

Shawn Gross: We bought a GE refrigerator/freezer from B&S Arlington about 4 years ago along with an extended service plan. Shortly after they delivered, we noticed that the water dispenser pressure was really low (as in it takes around 1-2 minutes to fill a small glass of water). Additionally, we also noticed that the ice maker was dispensing cubes that stick together. This creates a small igloo in our freezer and eventually this causes the ice maker to stop working. The fix is to remove the ice tray and defrost it. We called B&S and quickly reported the issue. B&S has come out to our home over 5 times and they have replaced the motor twice along with installing two new ice makers. I kept on telling them that the unit is a lemon however they insisted it could be repaired. Well, 4 years later and just shortly after our service agreement ended, they no longer return our calls. I would absolutely NOT buy any products from them. We plan on taking them to small claims court.

The showroom had a good mix of appliances to look at and the sales person (Michael Katac) helped me determine what type to buy for my kitchen, and what the choices were in the size I needed for the refrigerator specifically. He was easy to work with and it didn't take long to select the right appliances. The installers came today right on schedule and the entire process of removing the old range and installing the new GE gas range took less than 30 minutes. I would buy from Bray & Scarff again.

Doc Dillon: The sales team did a very good job, however, I really wanted to compliment the installation team, Joe and Shene, did a particularly notable job. They had to make an unexpected modification to the cabinetry to properly support the new oven. It was extremely professional. They also cleaned up the job site and provided us basic instruction in the use of the touch screen. All of this was done with utmost efficiency and the time required was surprisingly short. We'd be pleased to recommend them, and have them for another installation in our home, if that instance ever arises.

Went into the local store, and Jordan was very knowledgeable, listened to our needs, showed us various options (top load washer), checked availability and delivery dates, and completed the transaction quickly. The delivery was on-time, and the personnel was friendly, efficient, and answered any questions. They made sure the work area was clean and the product was working. We have bought almost all of our appliances over the years from B&S, including a kitchen remodel, and the work, communication, and final product was always exceptional !!!

Ian Rodway: My wife and myself went into the store knowing what size and type of refrigerator we wanted. The salesman, Rodney, was very helpful, knowledgeable and made the transaction a successful one. It is hard to wax poetic about the purchase of a refrigerator, but this particular transaction was a good one. Angeli Tempel: The Fairfax team is top notch! Billy was so flexible with delivery and installation times, since we were timing delivery with a laundry room remodel, which was not staying on schedule. Once the washer and dryer were delivered, installation was difficult due to some issues with our contractor. Cliff and his team were so kind to come back out multiple times to reinstall and uninstall to make sure we could do laundry while our contractor corrected the space. They also provided a custom drain pan and installed for us. Great service, so accommodating and they made sure the remodel was completed smoothly, even though it was not their responsibility. They really care about their customers.

Eva Whitfield: We have finally found our go-to shop for all of our kitchen appliances at Bray & Scarff! They have the most competitive prices and most incredible customer service. We had the pleasure of working with the store manager, Jerome Peterson at the Fairfax,VA location.. Schedule an appointment with Jerome when you go. He is very knowledgeable, personable, consultative and honest. We ordered a new fridge, oven and microwave/ oven and will be returning to do more business soon. There was a defect with the delivered fridge and Jerome made sure the situation was quickly resolved and was most concerned with our satisfaction and experience throughout the process. As a result, he and Bray & Scarff earned loyal, long-term customers who won’t go anywhere else.

Judy Flynn: I recently turned to Bray and Scarff when my dishwasher in my new house broke down. I use them exclusively to recommend and install new appliances because they are reliable, expert and very customer focussed I was going to try having this fixed, but asked them to make a recommendation on a replacement for me just in case. They did that and also gave me a range of acceptable repair prices. While the repair price was within range, no repair was completed by the repair date 2 months later. I cancelled the repair, sent an email to Bray and Scarff, who gave me the lower current price and scheduled the delivery for the next week. So glad I found them years ago.

Warron French: I went to this location twice. The first time I went in a salesperson informed me that they do not sell anything other than Stainless Steel (stylized) dishwashers; and he was rude about it. He was wrong, but I quickly found a salesman that new what he was talking about. I received the information I wanted so that I could perform more research and make an informed decision for myself - seems reasonable to me. Three weeks later I went back to the store, in person, while waiting for a callback from the second salesman I met during the first visit. They said they would have him call me back, and said nothing more. They person on the phone did not inform me that they were having a 1-day-sale, which for me really does not change anything. I never heard back from the salesman. On the way to the store, 15 minutes out I call again to speak with the salesman, and spoke to someone who said they would have him give me a call. They were a little rude about the way they spoke to me too. Fifteen minutes time elapsed, and I walked into the store when I got there - still had not heard from the salesman. I waited a couple of minutes and saw the second salesman, finally walking around, that had never picked up the phone to speak with me. He was polite and professional, and was not informed that I was waiting on the phone for him while I was driving into the store. I was STILL on hold with my cellphone and I made an issue of this problem with the store manager before starting any commerce with the store. I was livid! I was not polite about my disdain for the store's lack of professionalism. I executed my commerce with the store and made my purchase, but why did it have to be so difficult to do a basic thing. Bray and Scarff Corporate needs to send a Mystery Shopper into this store and evaluate for themselves what the problem is. I did not want a discount for my purchase, nor was I offered one for my troubles, but this store really needs to get things straight. Customers do not exist for the store, the store exist for the buyers. If it was not for the fact I had a good salesperson who knew what I wanted and how to find it, and execute the purchasing process swiftly, the rating would be lower.

Charrese Edwards: I took the time to go into the Fergusons over on Wisconsin where I met with one of the sales people named Tempe. I spent a couple of hours in there looking for several items and making selections, Tempe said she would get back to me by the next day at the latest with some quotes. I did not hear from her so I followed up a few days later with an email, she didn’t respond so I called and left a message, she didn’t respond so I called and spoke to somebody else and she said that she would get Tempe to respond and she still never did. Not exactly what I call good customer service. I drove all the way out to the Rockville store and met with the sales person there, Dixon, and had a fantastic experience. Ferguson should be happy that I just didn’t decide to go somewhere else completely based on the extremely poor service that I got from the Wisconsin Ave store.

Meredith Cross: Keni Jones has helped me on two visits, and she is remarkable. The first time a couple weeks ago I went in to look at new refrigerators because mine (purchased by my builder at another dealer about 8 months ago) was requiring too many repairs. She offered to help me find out how to get it replaced by the dealer for free. That is now happening. Saving $12,000. She didn’t need to help me. She just seems to want to help. Today I went to replace some lights. They have a beautiful selection. I bought a lot of light fixtures with help from Tayler Bordes at the same store in the Fall of 2018. She was fantastically helpful and the lights are great. Today I was there shortly before closing with no appointment. Keni Jones helped me order what I wanted and gave me great advice. I’m a huge fan of Ferguson’s and so glad they opened near DC Chevy Chase!

Jennifer Golden: EDIT/UPDATE: Upped stars to 3 from 1 but can't go higher until I actually experience their services. After the store replied to my review on here and asked that I email them, I did. The manager of the store showed great concern over my experience and seemed quite sincere. Also, many, many, many neighbors on nextdoor dot com voiced their opinions that what I experienced was absolutely not the norm for them. Given most people love to complain and less to praise...having so many take the time to voice praise - I suspect this experience was a fluke. Beautiful showroom, limited refrigerators to look at Totally ignored. I'm in the market for high end refrigerators. Spent a lot of time hovering around the subzero and Gaggenau appliances and was completely ignored. Even asked the front reception when I arrived where the refrigerators are. No even said hi, we'll be right with you. I'll spend my $30k elsewhere, they clearly don't need my business and I'm certainly not going to beg to give it to them.

Allyson Raabe: As far as I could tell, they have a limited selection, mostly priced at full retail, offer little if any valuable design advice, and do not install. I went primarily to look for a bathtub, as I'd really like to see a bathtub before buying it and assumed that a kitchen and bath "Gallery" would have many options, but I was wrong. My bathtub space is probably the most common size there is, but they had only a single option for that size. I have a clear idea of the design I want so really wasn't interested in design "advice," but what I overhead was pretty terrible. A couple was advised to choose a bathroom sink faucet first and then to pick everything else to match. Umm, so forget what kind of shower head you want and need (type, pressure, ahem, legal flow restrictions) and just pick it to match the vanity faucet? That seems crazy, backwards, and potentially code noncompliant. Plus, "matchy matchy" is not design in my opinion. They do have a number of faucet options and a trip there before buying something online would probably help you avoid some annoying online returns, but I think you could find most if not all of what they sell for less through a simple Google search. If you have no idea how to do a Google search or compare prices, then you are probably their ideal customer.

Hanna chakarji: Better prices than you would expect, I was looking for a light for my bathroom, one thatgoes on the wall. Found some beautiful chrome polished triple light. Was the same price as the junk on eBay. They did not have it in stock at Bethesda but they did have it in Richmond, I paid for it at around 3 PM and it was at my home the next day. Awesome place very high-quality items.

Ttd1960X: Jeff Stanton assisted me in upgrading all my kitchen appliances over the last few months. Over the course of several emails and phone calls, I found him to honest, unbiased and extremely helpful in my product selection. He was truthful about delivery wait times which helped managed my expectations as well. The Bray and Scarff prices he quoted were also very competitive. Their was a small issue with the Monogram dishwasher delivered. When I contacted Jeff about this he immediately put me in touch with a service technician. The problem was resolved with a service visit with 2 days. Jeff then followed up to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Jeff truly understands and practices the value of customer service and represents Bray and Scarff well. I will recommend Jeff and Bray and Scarff to others in need of kitchen of appliances.

Brett Kruger: I am so glad that I bought kitchen appliances from Bray and Scarff. I was fully expecting to buy from one of the big box stores, and only stopped into the Tysons Bray and Scarff to make sure I had seen all of the possible options. Turns out I was missing a lot of great options that were not available from the home centers. Our sales associate, Jeff, was incredible in helping us find the right set for our needs, he helped us maximize savings, and he kept us up to date on delivery times throughout the process. I would have expected high prices and long delivery times, but that was not the case at all. The whole experience was seamless and I could not be happier about this purchase.

Luke Schwenke: Went in person to this store to ask about getting a new Bosch 800 series dishwasher and they told me it was an 8-10 month wait. I called some other places and this wait seemed to be the norm, so I emailed Craig Dexter to get on the waitlist. He ignored my email and I never heard from him. This ended up working out well though because 1 month later I had a brand new Bosh 800 series installed from Lowes. I recommend you not to shop at Bray & Scarf due to poor customer service and long wait times, and instead go with Lowes or Home Depot.

Despite not having an appointment, Nerissa spent hours with us, helping us understand the options that would best work with our new kitchen layout. Laurie: Sold me a Hotpoint gas range as new when it was one year old. After one more year, gas was leaking because it needed a $269 new gas controller. Also, the design is dangerous because front burner controls turn on easily when unknowingly brushed against. Should be recalled!

Matthew Schumacher: Best Buy is great as everybody who has ever gone to one knows. We stopped in to Best Buy to price some washers and dryers for our new home. They have fair pricing and what is even better is that they have a 4 week turn around time for the LG washer and dryer we are interested in. From what I hear from others, delivery for a washer and dryer is extremely delayed from most other companies. Having a 4 week turn around time is all the more reason for us to purchase our LG washer and dryer from Beat Buy.

Michael Patrick: Good experience today when buying products in store while waiting for an online order to be fulfilled. The product I ordered online was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. I was greeted by staff when entering and exiting. The store was clean and organized. The staff at checkout were fast and polite.

Caitlin DePorter: Do not get a car radio from here. The $500 jvc radio I got stopped working after several months of having it. I then had to get on a waitlist that was several months long before they could “fix” it. Well finally the car is brought in and they say they don’t see anything wrong and reboot it and send me on my way and suggest it may be a phone issue. I got the managers card in case the radio wasn’t actually fixed. The issue has persisted even after getting a new phone and they now refuse to help since I am outside of the one year warranty, even though they didn’t fix it to begin with when I brought it in within the one year. Complete waste of my money and now I have a non functioning radio Edit: Best Buy told me to do a software update but there’s no software update available for this model. They are clueless and I wish I had gotten it somewhere else.

Ellen Savage: Placed an order for curbside pickup. Text telling me my order was ready did not contain instructions on where to park. I figured out pickup orders had to be picked up from parking garage, which is a paid garage. Waited 28 minutes for my order to be brought out, then when leaving garage I had to pay $3 for parking because I was in garage for more than 15 minutes. Horrible experience.

Sarah G: Absolutely horrible location. No signage to the ACTUAL store entrance. Curbside pickup is In a parking garage, so how exactly do you notify them via internet/app that you're "Here, in Pickup Spot #2" if your signal is sketchy? I got enough signal to pull up my order & check in, but system said it was having problems & I needed to come inside anyway. Would have been easy to do if there were posted directions to the actual store. Employee that checked me in for Order Pickup at the counter was negative & gave me false information. Employee that helped bring order to car (finally) was helpful. Didn't catch his name. Have to pay for parking no matter what, even for what should be a quick curbside pickup. Shop other BB locations unless you're staying local & walking around Crystal City & just buying small items.

Carol Spalla: Be aware of "subscriptions" sales. This review is not at all related to the team who actually helped me and found everything I had to buy. This review is specifically to call out and call the attention to future customers who purchase anything at any Best Buy. I spend nearly $ 2,000 tonight and when I got home, I realized they added this "total tech yearly subscription" for $200 (!!). I never asked this and, in any moment, the details of this offer was explained to me in detail. Brandon was a nice store seller but I really felt cheated and I am disappointed with Best Buy for being so close to sales malpractices. When I reached out to support, via chat, they refund this service but still kept $7 for 1 day of this subscription use. It's been 5 hours I left the store. I did not use this service at all!! And though the Customer Support representative Vicky D. was very effectively and patient with me, she also did not explain to me that they would keep the $7. Again, I am feeling that Best Buy is training and enabling their staff to omit important details during sales and customer support interactions. Very sad and frustrating. It's not about the $7 - its not going to make me richer or poorer, but it's about transparency.

Sgt. Quackers: My review is for the installation service. I booked the service online to install a Garmin camera in my 2020 Ford Explorer. Booking online worked fine. No issues, not a lot of available dates but it may just be because they are busy. I got several reminder emails for my appointment as it was two months out from when made it. The Friday before a Monday appointment they called me to confirm. They made sure I had all the parts needed and told how long it would take. Day of the started working on it promptly at my appointment time. They asked where I wanted it installed and provided advise where it should be. Once completed they called and I picked up my car. The wiring job was great. I can't even see the wire beyond where it leaves the camera. The camera is in a great spot, out of the way but also in the middle where it will capture the best video. I would definitely recommend their service for hard wiring a camera

rachel braley: I have been trying to get in contact with somebody from this store for over a week to no avail. All calls are directed to the call center, which would be fine, except no one at the call center knows how to transfer me to the store line except maybe 1 out of every 12 people. Not only has the call center been unable to help me with what I need (which is why I need to get in contact with someone from the actual store) they have placed me on the call back list probably 5 times in the last week and a half and I haven’t gotten a single call back. ONE person knew how to transfer me to the store line but when I called I was sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail with my information on the ACTUAL store line and never heard anything back. I cannot go into the actual store because I now live three hours away, so getting in touch with someone over the phone is really my only option. However actually getting someone on the phone seems to be impossible so I really don’t know what to do at this point. The call center itself has been a bit of a nightmare. They keep trying to find my “Best Buy account” except I don’t have one but they think if they look up my phone number for the 1,000th time it will suddenly magically appear. Talking to the call center makes me feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone with how many times I’ve had to tell them I DONT HAVE A BEST BUY ACCOUNT. And one person hung up on me when they were only able to answer my questions with “I don’t know.” Honestly ridiculous. I’m currently looking into buying a new computer and a new TV but it won’t be at Best Buy. I will be taking my business elsewhere due to how much trouble I’ve had to go through. It shouldn’t be this hard to talk to somebody in the store.

Dottie “Dottie” Mount: My Best Buy experiences have been hit or miss, but this location has removed any hesitation that I had about Best Buy. The young man that helped me, Ezra, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and made sure I got what I needed. I was very confused about what laptop to purchase based on my needs, and Ezra cleared it all up! He stayed with me, shopped on BestBuy.com until I found what I wanted. His customer service skills are exceptional and made me feel like I was the only customer. His follow thru and patience are worth the commute to this location! Thank you!!!

Houston: Yesterday, I had a great interaction in the elcectronics (PC/Laptop) section of the Best Buy in Potomac Yard (Alexandria VA). I was informed of products, directed to the appropriate section, and escorted to the cashiers counteres by Jefferey. He was a pleasure to be around and was very informative, sharp, and gave suggestions for a proper purchase. Although the product I ultimately ended up purchasing is available through several stores in town, after the assistance provided by Milton, I can’t not imagine having purchased it anywhere else. He answered my questions thoroughly and offered to research some more esoteric technical questions I had. What an impressive gentleman! If I had a store, I would hire this guy in a second… And no I don’t know him and I’d never met him before. He really restored my confidence in the ability of resellers like Best Buy to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Congrats to Best Buy in Tysons Corner for having the good judgment to hire such smart and helpful people. I know which store I will be going to for my next product purchase of this type.

Kheira Benkreira: I went in yesterday to return some items I wasn't able to use and I totally overlooked the super short return policy on the receipt. I didn't realize it was only 14 DAYS until I was at customer service. The rep who assisted me informed me of the policy but offered to exchange the item. While I wasn't happy about not being able to return, I was very appreciative to at least exchange. I have a toddler so I'm never sure when I can get out to run errands. Surprisingly Best Buy has a lot to offer so I was able to find something. Customer service inside is hit or miss, prior visits I get asked if I need help, this time I waited 10 minutes before giving up to check an open box tv price. Altogether, if you're 100% sure about a purchase and don't mind the 14 day return policy (longer if you have a membership) then I'd recommend this location.

Marko Mitic: Alright, I’ll be honest and straightforward. My 1* review is based on what kind of service is happening in store, not on product itself. First I was helped from tall gentleman, he was kind, helpful, good listener and respected my opinion! He will remember me :”He compliment my hairstyle also”. He redirected me to older gentlemen which lately disappeared and I was finishing with third guy who talk-so-much-and-never-stop-to-talk. He tried to sell me same lap top but brand new (I asked for brand new). After back and forward I said how they told me they have it on stock and I was waiting another 10min to find that one. Very shady, but okay, he tried. Listen, I am in store to purchase laptop, I asked simple questions, do not give me story “we are not on commission” and do not try to sell me warranty 10 times. LITERALLY 10 times. I am not kidding. Also he said I CAN NOT settle up monthly payment if I do not have Best Buy credit card and I need to apply for one. I literally was in store 1 h. At the end I got my credit card which I didn’t wanted. Not necessarily need it. He was laying to me and doing shady business. I am not purchasing nothing with that one anymore. So he did 2 things today, lost a customer because stupid cc and was lying there doing shady business and providing very poor and slow service. And make me to not use that card never in my life because interest on it🤷‍♂️ Y’all take care of your costumers and train your staff better. Because this is shame!

Michael Patrick: This specific experience here was less than desirable. I ordered a product online, the site said two were in stock. I arrived early for in store pickup. The sales rep went to look for the item. He returned and said that they couldn't find it, that there was one in the store but still couldn't find it. He said I could go to a different store with one in stock. I asked him to call the other store and confirm it is in stock to avoid repeating this experience. He refused, stating that the process does not work like that. He was more than happy to cancel my order altogether. Amazon will have it to me by 5pm.

Bret Bellamy: 3/7/22: After contacting both the credit card company and the Better Business Bureau, Best Buy HQ in Minnesota removed the duplicate charge and credited it to my account and now my balance us correct. While glad it is resolved, this should have been a simple change to make by the store manager without having to get the credit card company, the BBB, and corporate HQ involved. Adding one star to my rating since a satisfactory resolution happened. Prior review: I recently bought a new HP laptop at Best Buy - Falls Church. There was some confusion with the pickup. When I went to pick up my online order, there was a mix up and I ended up being charged twice for a new computer. I only bought one, but they had a record as 1 online purchase and 1 store bought purchase. I tried to resolve with the pick up staff and the "manager" on 2/26 to no avail, I was told it would be "faster" to use the 1-888-Best-Buy number. After 45 minutes on the phone with "customer service" and going through four people who were not able to resolve the issue, I was cut off while "on hold". I called the Best Buy credit card number (Citi bank) and finally got a competent person who was able to resolve the issue in three minutes and will contact the useless incompetents at Best Buy-Falls Church to delete the duplicate charge. I have been a Best Buy customer for eight years and I doubt that I will continue. They try to cheat seniors and then give them the runaround BS when trying to resolve an issue. The Geek Squad staff at this store is great, they are the only competent staff at this store. Don't shop at Best Buy-Falls Church!

Jessica McNutt: It's best buy. I only go when I absolutely must. Customer service is generally not good and, despite there being as many employees as customers, we always have to wait a strange amount of time to check out. If you can order online from somewhere else, do it!

Kristin Rever: Management needs to make sure employees are aware of services actually provided before saying a repair could be done. We had an appointment to repair my daughter's Smasung phone. He called on Thursday to verify this type of repair (replacement of motherboard) could be done. When we arrived the Geek Squad staff told us that unfortunately they did not do thus type of repair yet. The staff was pleasant and friendly and referred us to another location. This us issue could have been avoided if Best Buy was actually aware of the type of services they could provide. A waste of our time and gas.

Vincent Wagner: I went to the geek squad here because I was having trouble with an SSD install. They fixed the problem and offered to transfer the data from my old drive. 100 was a little steep for a simple data transfer but I was done putting energy. They assured me they could do it in a day. Once again, this seemed like a really long time for a data transfer. I didn't care so long as they had it done by the next day. The next day, they called me two hours before close and said they needed my Microsoft password to "make sure it boots up after the transfer". I said ok, I don't know my password but I will reset it and give it to you once I come pick it up. They assured me the they had already completed the transfer. When I got there the person at the counter harassed me to describe my computer after I brought in the paperwork they make you sign. I gave them my new password and they said that the data transfer did not take place and they will need an hour and a half to do the transfer. They would need to wait till the next day since it was close to close. I needed my computer today. Why should a data transfer take 48 hours. They do not communicate effectively. They lie. They don't care. Don't go here. Give your money to a local business.

K M: Disgusting customer service! I wish I could give them zero stars. Today I dealt with manager Mr Fathim, very disrespectful. Walked away from me when I had an appointment for a Samsung device repair, I get to the store and I’m being told they don’t provide that service. I’m being told I’m too loud and he refuses to give me his last name. Also geek squad member Asaf, same scenario, unhelpful, rude, can’t even greet me and refuses to give me his last name. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Please take your money to a different store. Preferably where the managers have manners and don’t disregard their customers.

Joshua Cruse: Overall; Lowe’s as a company/brand has declined in recent years. In my recent experience, though, this location in particular seems to be the least reliable of all the stores in the metro DC area. Across departments, their inventory is grossly misrepresented in the app (by dozens), and the associates are generally not helpful in determining whether or not they actually have the items in the store. They are quick to blame “the system”. However, I’m not patronizing their system. I [was formerly] patronizing them. So, if it’s an issue with just this location; avoid this location. If it’s company-wide, avoid the company. That’s how consumers should react to their blame-game logic. At this point, it just simply appears Lowe’s is artificially inflating their inventory counts online to get customers in the door. That’s misleading and dishonest. Alternatively; the big-orange-box competitor’s site/app will direct you to contact the specific store if the quantity is low or out of stock. Still not as honest as a flat “we’re out”, but better than inflated counts. YMMV. Buyer beware.

Kwadwo Tuffour: Took this painting to figure out how to get it up on my wall, and to get the right kind of nails to do it. Sales associate was able to take me right to what I needed and shower me how to hang it. Mission accomplished. Bonus: Had a nice, brief conversation with the cashier, Radha about the different women in the picture. She recognized a couple and asked about a few, which i told her.

John Kean: A home improvement store that's worth a longer drive. It has well-organized and labeled stock that is free of the grimy dust in competitor's stores. The staff has been exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Smaller than other home stores, so I have some items delivered to the store, usually in a day, and then I am sure the item will be available. I have used the store's contractors for air conditioning installation and gutter replacement. Both were excellent and cost was the lowest or close to lowest.

Kari Podhajsky: It was a perfectly fine and clean store. It had what we were looking for. The women's bathroom needed a little bit of love, but it certainly got the job done. The employees were friendly and helpful. The signage was accurate and easy enough to find everything that we needed. Plus there was ice cream nearby!

Jessica Osorio Jimenez: Go to the Chantilly store, it is not that far away, it is bigger with a larger selection, better organized and doesn't have a Norma. I absolutely abhor having no choice but to listen to someone in "management" belittling and berating an employee from the corner front of appliance to to past the appliance desk in front of customers or other employees, there is absolutely no need for it. If that would've happened before I purchased my appliances, I would've have left and purchased them elsewhere. The other employees are helpful but they look harassed and stressed. I even went back a couple of times to see if the atmosphere had changed, but 🤷‍♀️ it may get better once the reorganization is complete but until then, just go to the Chantilly store.

Tracey Greene: Went and got spare keys for mom. I'm so happy they had a great variety of different colors to choose from so that you can use certain keys to identify certain doors for your house. And the guy who helped me do the keys he was so nice. Thank you for the great experience

Dawn Wunderle: After more than 7 phone calls to 3 different numbers trying to schedule appliance installation, I was lucky this morning to have been assisted by Joshua Lewis in the Floral and Garden Department. Even though it is not his department or responsibility, he patiently worked through getting the dishwasher I ordered on January 13th scheduled for installation. If there were 10 stars - I would select all 10 for Joshua! Patient, courteous and helpful and he went above and beyond to assist me!

Yumiko Cook: I had outstanding customer service from Gretchen. All the time she was polite, friendly, and tried to find what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the store didn’t carry the fluorescent light bulbs. But she gave me more information of it about me to order it easier.

John Velasco: I bought a car radio for my Sentra and this was the only Best Buy in the area that had appointments available. Herman from the Car Audio install bay gave me all the instructions where to go and what to expect the day before, including how long it would take. They estimated 2:30 - 3 hours, which was a little long, but ultimately not a problem because he and Gregg were super thorough with the installation. I hung out with my laptop and worked in the Magnolia Theatre Room inside the Best Buy, while on the guest WiFi, with no problems. When the job was completed, Gregg gave me a walkthrough and instructions on basic usage, which I appreciated. If you’re considering any car audio work, these guys here know their stuff, I highly recommend them!

Brittany Dorr: Typically not impressed with this location but I had to stop by this past weekend to exchange my phone and I honestly left very happy. The customer service on this particular occasion was fast and the young lady was extremely nice. My only complaint is that it literally was hot as hell in there. While I understand it's cold outside, I shouldn't break a sweat from being inside.

Rello Dmv: This location is convenient coming from wheaton station. They have most electronics and electronics accessories in store or available to pick up your online order. No ps5 in stock i checked. Clean store overall with nice staff and affordable prices on nice equipment. Ps. A young guy named Stephano helped me with few things and I was very happy with the quality of his service. Technology is changing so fast that you need help way more than you think. lauren powell: The employees need a refresher on customer service and handling merchandise. I went here to pick up and Open box dryer that was supposedly in Excellent condition.. which means no damage. In the time I when to get something out of the front of my truck, the guy loading the dryer put the dryer in on its side. There was zero protective wrapping on the dryer when he brought it out... so you can imagine my face when i saw him sliding into the back of truck on its side. If that wasn't bad enough. Once I get the dryer home for my contractor to take it up the stairs I notice there is a BIG dent in the front of the dryer. I call best buy and I keep getting transferred to phone lines all over the world instead of being able to talk to someone at the store. I'm told i can get a refund if i bring the dryer back to the store. This isn't something that weighs 10lbs. Anytime Best Buy screws something up it's on you to deal with the consequences. Terrible customer service at this store. I went back in to buy additional items for the unit and the three people standing at the front argued over who would help me... right in front of me. That same day I picked up open box items in excellent condition, fully wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap from Baileys Crossroads and the Manassas store. I don't advise buying open box from this location... they don't handle the merchandise carefully.. people are too busy acting like they don't feel being at work.

joe: CANCELLED A SURPRISE GIFT WITHOUT WARNING. I ordered a VR Headset on line to ship to my Nephew. I thought I'd go with Best Buy as at least a more traditional store instead of Amazon. I was happy to see no shipping and next day delivery--until I got an email saying my order was being canceled and my money refunded. No more information than that. This after I arranged to make sure someone would be home to ensure delivery since this costs about $300. So, I have to sit on hold for 15 minutes after going through the Best Buy phone tree, only to be told that it isn't a deliverable address because the delivery address doesn't match the billing address. This is because I don't live with my nephew. I understand concerns about security, but cancellation without warning or explanation, or with a chance to verify the details means that I will not be ordering on-line products from Best Buy in the future. I hate to abandon brick-and-mortar stores but how can you let someone order everything and then just cancel it later?

Stacy Belney: DO NOT get appliances and installation at Best Buy. The absolute worst customer service, bad information, and all around sloppiness. We ordered an oven and Best Buy has rescheduled the installation and delivery 4 times. 6 months later, we finally got the oven delivered only to be told that they could not install do to having to remove the gas oven first. We called three times to make sure the installers would be equipped and prepared to change these ovens out. We assured each time they would be. The customer services agents just lie. They don't know what to say, so they lie. Best Buy has been the absolute most stressful and frustrating experience in our kitchen renovation by far. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save yourself the trouble and DO NOT ORDER APPLICANCES WITH INSTALLATION THROUGH BEST BUY!!!

Bloved Adjust: The service was awesome 👌the experts were just that. They are a tight knit family in their business establishment, which benefits customers tremendously. I went in there with a good plan, they had me walk out their with the Best Buy Ever!Thanks Best Buy Employees for defining your company's name.

Eren Jaeger: Horrible customer service. They don't even say "hi". When I got there, not even, "how may I help you?", Not even "Do you have the code?". The guy just said, "Code?" I gave him ID but the guy still said code, I gave him my phone number, and still said "Code?". I gave it to him as well after giving the ID and phone number and he eventually found it. I wouldn't want to say more but the whole picking up experience was horrible.

Jane Greene: 2 days ago I purchased a GE Profile washer and dryer from an outstanding salesman, Patrick Gracyalny, at the Wintergreen Plaza store in Rockville, MD. Patrick explained all the details of a really good promotional price, plus the service agreement which I was interested in, and found 2 rebates applicable to my purchase. I would highly recommend him, and actually did today, to a friend who just happened to mention that she needed a new washer and dryer. She plans to call Patrick to make sure he will be there when she is going to go to that Bray & Scarf location to see what they have to offer. The delivery men and installers, Anthony and Daleyan, were great too. They were very careful in taking out my old machines and equally so bringing in the new ones to install. They were very professional , knowledgeable and friendly. Anthony had to deal with a very inconvenient set up of the location from where the old vent tube had to be removed and a new one installed, which the former owner of my house had placed under a board in a lower cabinet. He also put in a new screw to make the board easier to remove in case this ever has to be navigated in the future , much better then the way it was set up with just a nail. The appliances were the first purchases I have made at Bray & Scarf and the whole experience of purchasing them, delivery and installation was an excellent one thanks to all 3 employees. I will be sure to return when I am in need of replacing another appliance.

Anita Banks: Patrick walked toward us as we entered the store. He showed us a washer/dryer set that fit our needs immediately. We were also shown a few others for comparison. He described the additional parts that would be included in the package, new filter, etc. and the cost involved in removing the old appliances. He offered extended warranty on both machines, but suggested taking just the washer warranty rather than none because the dryer is less likely to need work. We are expecting delivery on Thursday, 2/10, by installers from B. and S. who will be extremely careful to not mark up our ceramic tile floor. If we need a repair at any time, they will send a technician from B. and S. Would reccomend Patrick at the Wintergreen Plaza location.

Even though it was close to closing time he proceeded to inform us on other appliances in great depth that we are planning to purchase in the near future. Cindy Flanders: I recently had the pleasure of working with Mahmoud Harb in your Rockville store. I went in to set up delivery for appliances I had purchased back in November. Due to the supply chain issues, several items were no longer available. I was a bit panicked as my builder needed delivery the following week. Mahmoud saved the day. He found me several replacement pieces that were more than satisfactory and stayed late to help me process the sale to take advantage of the tax free weekend. He went above and beyond to help me.

He was extremely helpful in helping us chose the right balance of features in the appliance lines vs the cost. This saved us much time and expense. The Bray prices are always competitive and he will get us an upcoming rebate offer. Would highly recommend this vendor for appliance purchases.
