Tesfaye Gari: I have a 3 year old Whirlpool Refrigerator and the ice maker stopped working. I called got scheduled but the technicians who came worried about only his $60 checkup fee and said the door needs to be replaced which costs $900 or more and additional equipments which adds up over the price of the refrigerator. Doesn’t worth calling Vision Appliance. I personally don’t recommend at all and if there was a zero star I would give that. Hope some one learn from my mistake
Response: We are sorry that you feel that way, but I need to clarify the status of your fridge. When the technician came to do the diagnosis, he realized that the problem was with the harness, some wires at the bottom of the fridge door were cut and that’s why the Ice Maker stopped working, clearly this usually happen because of owners misuse, by opening the door to the maximum extend and very strongly. The damage there will not be fixed by reconnecting or extending wires because it is dangerous and not reliable, since with the opening of the door the connections will expand again and get loose, this could cause an electric surge. The only way to fix this problem is to change the door, as the wires are permanently fixed to it. We have called you and left a message to contact us and we also offered to refund you the service charge of $59.00 but you did not come back to us. At Vision Appliance Repair, we take all reviews seriously and into consideration to improve our service, but we will not accept bad reviews when it has nothing to do with our technicians or service.

Many customers mentioned that the technician thoroughly explained the issue and the repair process. I was more than pleased with the service I received. My technician came out same day, he was very friendly, professional & efficient, the repair cost was very reasonable, and since I have absolutely no knowledge of appliance repairs, I greatly appreciated my technician thoroughly explaining everything. Riley Pagett: I’ve been waiting on a working refrigerator for nine months (a story for another day) so when our brand new refrigerator was delivered to us, we were eager to be back up and running. However, the company that delivered it to us refused to install it (we had paid for that, but that’s also another story for another day) and left it on our front porch, in the elements and all. I called several local businesses to see whether they’d be able to help with an install, and everyone told me “no” except Lee. He eagerly assisted and had my refrigerator in our house, installed, and in working order within an hour. I cannot say enough good things about Lee and his team. They were professional, kind, hard working, and helped me out during what had been one of our hardest stretches of home ownership.

Lauren Krauss: We 100% recommend Presidential Appliance Repair and do not hesitate to call them any time we need an appliance repaired. We have had Tim work on our appliances at least 3 times. When we had issues with a leak inside our refrigerator, we researched repair companies and found Presidential Appliance Repair based on very favorable reviews. We found Tim, the owner, to be fantastic. He responded to our voice message quickly and set up a time window for our repair within the next day or two. After this experience, there is no other company I will call when I need a repair. Tim is easy to work with and knows appliances very well. He researches the issue and possible parts needed before coming to the appointment, so he is ready. His pricing is easy to understand and very fair.

I have used Tim several times for appliance repairs, and I would highly recommend him.

Satesh Pawaroo: My relatively new dryer stopped working and I did not know who to call so I contacted Samsung the manufacturer. The earliest they could come out was at least 2 weeks out and the estimate was $450.00. So I did a quick google search for appliance repair near me and found Atlantic Appliance Repair. I called their number and was pleasantly surprised that they could come out the following day and check the dryer to let me know what was going on. The technician Hicham called me 15 minutes prior to arrival and was very nice and explained what was going on. He replaced the thermostat and cleaned everything out, he left everything cleaner than he found it. I was also happy to see that they applied the diagnostic fee to the total bill so they saved me over $150.00 compared to the other estimate I received. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends, and I will be using them now on for my repair needs. I also want to thank Hicham for making this process so simple and painless.

Pamela Sommers: Excellent sales and service but stay away from the extended warranty. For my gas Samsung range, the warranty does not cover the knobs two of which broke. Consumer Priority Service (CPS Customer Service) was extremely difficult to deal with in terms of responsiveness and attitude. Read the warranty carefully, it is more like a transmission warranty for your car. Knobs are specifically excluded and not deemed to be a functional part. I feel that I wasted the money ($125). By the way the knobs cost $25 each and I needed two. M and M did not push the warranty and I have nothing but praise for the store. It would thrill me if they stopped using CPS.
Marlene Azer: I had an amazing experience getting our appliances here. We completely renovated a house and needed everything (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, washer/dryer) under a pretty tight budget and time frame. We needed things delivered the following week! Our sales associate took their time putting together our list of appliances with our time and budget restriction in mind. Brian very patiently looked through all their warehouse items in the area so that we got everything we needed and we are extremely pleased with each appliance we’ve purchased. He also made sure we had everything needed to install the appliances. The prices were excellent. I will definitely come back if we need anything else in the future.

Erin Howard: Please please do not use this company for your own safety. First check the reviews on the Better Business Bureau and the “F” rating. You can’t write a review and file a complaint on the BBB website. It’s one of the other. Also, check Facebook. They were a problem from the beginning, no communication, showed up hours early for appointment with no call. We started to smell something in our house a few weeks after they left. They had pulled the oven out to “fix” it. We didn’t know there was a gas leak. Later, the oven made a terrible sound even when turned off!!!!!! We pulled it away from the wall to unplug it. Gas leak. I called the company with my complaint and he says “you smelled gas in your house since March?” In a condescending and evil way. What a frightening experience. I think the problem just got worse over time but we don’t go back behind our oven….he did. Watch out. No remorse and could’ve killed us. Service: Oven repair

Bryan Morrison: Outstanding!!! This company is awesome. My dishwasher started to leak on a Sunday. I found Jerry’s appliance on the web and called. Tim called me back later in the day and told me some things to look for. We were able to diagnose the problem over the phone. I even sent him some photos and a short video which further confirmed what the problem was. Tim knew right away what the fix would be and was also extremely knowledgeable on the dishwasher. Unfortunately the part needed was a factory only part and we were looking month to get one in. Luckily, through Tim’s knowledge and contacts he was able to locate the part within a week. He promptly called me and set up an install time. Tim and Aubrey showed up and completed the job perfectly, even taking the time to explain what the part was, how it works and tips to prolong the life of my dishwasher. I highly recommended using Jerry’s Appliance. I will be using them from now on for any appliance repairs I may need in the future. Service: Dishwasher repair

Steven Lew: Great experience. Manny is the man! Water was backing into my dishwasher forcing me to run the dishwasher every 4 hours to remove the water. It eventually flooded. I called Manny on Black Friday morning and he gave me an early PM appointment. I described the problem over the phone and he diagnosed the issue (valve problem), picked up the replacement valve, and fixed the problem within 3 hours. All the other appliance repair places were telling me Monday at the earliest. Problem solved. I am a realtor and will definitely refer Manny to my clients.

Sam L: The owner seems to have waited 5 mo to call me a liar. His statement is 100% false. The technician did not do what was claimed and the freezer was not working when he left. I believe we have the entire transaction on video. We stand by our negative review and caution everyone to beware of this company. Not sure if the other reviews are legit or not. First of all the name is very misleading. The company name is not Vienna Appliance Repairs. The tech came by looked at our Subzero 650/f unit for about 5 mins and came up with about $800 of work that needed to be done to fix the freezer. He claimed two thermistors are bad at $80 each plus installation and the control board needs to be repalced and another $600 or so including installation. After the tech left I got the service manual online and checked the thermistors, they are fine. I then ran through the control board diagnostics which passed. We then did a hard reset on the fridge. This involved turning off the fridge, then the circuit breaker, waiting a min and turning it back on in the same order. The unit came back up operating correctly. I feel this firms technicians are not qualified and you should beware before hiring them.

Pano G: Unfortunately this is a very bad review (posted with the hope it may help someone else in the process of deciding whether using this service). I called them and scheduled a service call to repair my 6 yr old Kenmore Elite refrigerator that had stopped cooling. I received numerous emails and texts confirming the service day and time. Took off from work the day of the scheduled repair and waited for the tech who never showed up!. I called them and they scheduled another service appointment. Took off again from work and waited for the tech who again never showed up despite the multiple emails and texts I received confirming the service call. Called the dispatch again inquiring about the missed appointment and I was told someone will be calling me back. Waited for a day; no one did. This is now 30 days after the initial request for service. Extremely non-responsive service! Be aware!

D Martin: Technician was timely, knowledgable, good disposition. The ice maker was repaired and is working well. However, I still have a problem with a small amount of water coming out when ice is dispensed (note this was a secondary concern and was not apparent at the time of service since the ice maker was not working) All in all good and timely service. J: These guys are great. Help you if you’re dealing with insurance and are honest if the appliance would be better off getting replaced rather than repaired. They are respectful, show up on time, and follow up. It may take a little time depending on how easy it is to get parts, their schedules, etc, but they’ll get the job done. Also, the person you talk to on the phone to make appointments and follow up is courteous and will actually get back to you if he doesn’t have your answer right away. Geoffrey Aronow: I called, told them the problem, which involved repairing the upper rack. Within two hours, they called back, said they could get the parts, told me the cost of the repair and scheduled an appointment in a few days. The repair person called when they were on the way, arrived during the scheduled time frame, did the repair quickly, was very nice, gave me a good lead on getting another missing part, and charged me exactly what they had quoted. Since the repair just occurred, I cannot speak to whether there is any issue with the work done, but it looks fine and I will leave an update if there are any issues in the future. Troy Barnes: The original problem was my freezer was not cooling and it needed a new motor. The person replaced the motor and the freezer started working again. However, shortly after fixing the motor, less than 30 days, the refrigerator starting leaking from the freezer. The leaking was coming from the same area that the technician replaced the motor. He said that we may have dropped something down the drain hole causing the water to freeze and causing the leak. I asked is it possible that he could have dropped something in the hole causing it to freeze and the answer was quickly no. I explained that the refrigerator is only seven years old and we have never had an issue prior to him fixing it, he then said he would fix it for 225.00 which was almost the cost of replacing the motor. I told him we would need to think about it and we would like to call the office to expression our concern. The person answered the phone, listened to what happend, and said they would call me back. They never called me back. I was surprised since they have a good rating and they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I can guarantee that I am 100% not satisfied and I would not recommend them because of their customer service. They will definitely fix any issue you have with your appliances, but if they cause an issue they will definitely charge you to fix that problem as well. Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

EVA CHARQUERO: I was recommended by LG to this company, best recommendation ever! I was pleased by the customer service when I called because I had entirely way too many questions and she was so informative. They were so organized and skillful. Once the technician (Greg) came by, I was very delighted that he was well mannered and knowledgeable. Service was fast and efficient. They gave us a 6 month warranty. We would definitely be using them again in the event that we need anything else fixed. My husband knows nothing about fixing appliances, but he did learn a little just by watching Greg. Such great company!!!! Don’t keep looking, Use these guys!!
