Steven Lew: Great experience. Manny is the man! Water was backing into my dishwasher forcing me to run the dishwasher every 4 hours to remove the water. It eventually flooded. I called Manny on Black Friday morning and he gave me an early PM appointment. I described the problem over the phone and he diagnosed the issue (valve problem), picked up the replacement valve, and fixed the problem within 3 hours. All the other appliance repair places were telling me Monday at the earliest. Problem solved. I am a realtor and will definitely refer Manny to my clients.

Kristen Leedom: Atlantic serviced our Maytag dryer (owner manual says to have the inside of dryer checked every two years for lint that cannot be accessed by vent cleaning or lint trap). The tech was great. Did a professional and thorough job for a very reasonable price. I had heard great reviews of Atlantic from several neighbors. Satesh Pawaroo: My relatively new dryer stopped working and I did not know who to call so I contacted Samsung the manufacturer. The earliest they could come out was at least 2 weeks out and the estimate was $450.00. So I did a quick google search for appliance repair near me and found Atlantic Appliance Repair. I called their number and was pleasantly surprised that they could come out the following day and check the dryer to let me know what was going on. The technician Hicham called me 15 minutes prior to arrival and was very nice and explained what was going on. He replaced the thermostat and cleaned everything out, he left everything cleaner than he found it. I was also happy to see that they applied the diagnostic fee to the total bill so they saved me over $150.00 compared to the other estimate I received. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends, and I will be using them now on for my repair needs. I also want to thank Hicham for making this process so simple and painless.

Pamela Atkinson: The services provided by Jawed was absolutely exceptional! I contacted this company Thursday night 11/10/2021 expecting to leave a message but Jawed answered the call. He was very polite and professional. He booked my apt for the next day at 5:15pm. He contacted me 30 minutes before his arrival and stated that due to traffic he’d be 10 minutes behind schedule and wanted to know if it would be ok. He pleasantly entered my home at the estimated new time and after assessing my fireplace, he assured me that it could be repaired; however, it would take 40 minutes to fix and if that would be too late, he could come back to do this work. Needless to say, I was ecstatic because my fireplace is pretty old and I feared that I would need a new unit. Within 40 minutes my fireplace was repaired and my basement is cozy and warm again. Wade Sisler: We had a good experience yesterday repairing an 8 year old dishwasher that seemed on the bubble - a little too young to replace, but a little too old to sink much money into. DAR arrived on time, and took it apart, cleaned out the stuff I have no idea got there including tons of old soap and for less than 200 buck made it seem like new. They also looked at a freezer problem while they were here that requires some additional parts. Might bump this to five starts if they fix that too.

Christina Shaw: Tim was on time, personable, respectful, and knowledgeable. He introduced himself and had wonderful manners. I showed him into the kitchen and he put on his shoe protectors and went straight to work. He was great to work with and very efficient. He not only fixed our dishwasher, he did preventative work as well! He replaced a part they may cause issues later without me even realizing. He also took time to tell me how to make my dishwasher work better and ways to keep it clean! He very much exceeded my expectations and any other appliance repair I have ever experienced! Angelique Surguy-Hershey: The repairman was very professional, very courteous, took Covid safety precautions, and very knowledgeable. He was prompt, worked quickly, and was clearly skilled. When there was a defect in the actual unit and it became obvious it could not be repaired but would need to be replaced, he was apologetic and empathetic. Definitely a very good employee! Positive notes: I was able to schedule online with no difficulty; an email was sent to me on an update on a more narrow time when the technician would arrive; a link sent to track the technician; the office called to tell me the technician was finished early with the previous job and asked if he could come earlier (@12:30) than the estimated time (1:00-4:00); technician was extremely polite, knowledgeable, considerate, organized, cleaned up the mess, explained things to me, and answered all my questions; and there is no doubt that I will use this company on future needs. I was given a courtesy call ten minutes prior to his arrival. He patiently answered my questions and explained what was wrong, he communicated with me to set expectations for when he would arrive and was on time. He shared tips with me on how to fix this and even checked back to make sure it works. Jessica Nomm: We reached out to Michael & Sons to have some electric run for a built-in under-cabinet wine fridge in our kitchen. Fortunately Joshua was able to come out for a same-day estimate and scheduled work for just a few days later. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and left the space tidy after he was finished. George Grabow: Contacted Michael and Son for general plumbing and pipe repair in a location that had very difficult access. One of their highly experienced plumbers, Eric Blackmon, called and asked to see if he could come early. I was overjoyed as our water supply had to be turned off. Erick immediately assessed the situation and briefed me on some of the complexities and how he planned to proceed with the repairs. He kept me completely informed of his progress and asked me to inspect the project when completed. He was very knowledgeable and shared some of that with me. He then asked if I needed any other repairs work and then made some expert suggestions of other potential problems that I should keep my eye on. This was a very friendly approach with no pressure applied - information only, and I appreciate that. I will certainly ask for him for any future plumbing needs. Christine: Michael & Sons has done my furnace installation and electrical panel upgrade as well as regular maintenance on my A/C and heating. They are always professional and are mostly on time. They could be a little better about cleaning up after themselves but it’s not a huge complaint since they do a good job on the actual project at hand. There are small things I wish they would be more clear about such as they won’t be patching the square they cut out of my wall to work on the electrical panel so I have to find someone to do that as I’m not handy myself. They’re not the cheapest service but they’re not the most expensive and most of their services have a pretty good warranty that’s included. Hong Qiang: Our 15 year old water heater had to get replaced and I was able to get next day service through online scheduling with Michael & Son. The technician came right on time. It was a big job to be done by one person not to mention he has to go get the new unit and to haul away the old one. 5 hours later our hot water system is back in business. R and D: Michael & Son - Plumbing – Shower Repair - 2/23/2022 The technician respected my property by putting on foot covers at the door (each time) and not parking in my driveway without asking. I appreciated that the technician followed health protocols for wearing a face mask. The technician asked about the problem and listened to my concern (“The shower will not stop dripping”). The technician explained his assessment of the problem based on his inspection and he offered a solution. He offered assurance that Michael and Son could fix the problem and the price (up scale) for the service. The technician completed the repairs promptly and professionally. After he completed the repair he showed and explained what he had done. While I am very satisfied with the completed repair, my confidence in Michael & Son could have been boosted higher if the specifics of the written warranty for the services and parts I received today was highlighted on the invoice. His Work is very clean and even answered all our questions. You truly have a great employee. Mr Ed Clark, the manager we worked with was extremely responsive. I know he only started working for your company but after over four months of calling, no responses or call backs from any of your managers, Mr Clark immediately called us back, has been nothing but awesome and saw to it that we got our bathroom done. He told my husband not to have the plumber leave until we were satisfied and Jose’s work was exemplary. With really fabulous employees on your team, my husband and I will remain loyal Mike and sons customers since we know those two are on the car. Lauren Kardos: GP and the team were THE BEST to work with. From exploring options to replace our broken oven to all the communication and scheduling delivery, to the delivery itself, everything was so seamless and personable. Our kitchen is an awkwardly shaped galley, and All-State took the time to explore all installation options for minimal invasiveness (i.e. not having to move our refrigerator). We will definitely be back when we’re in the market for new appliances.

Tanya Ant: My subzero refrigerator stopped cooling. I contacted smart step and got a quick response. After a brief talk I made an appointment. Technician Alex arrived exactly on time. He was in mask, gloves and shoe covers. In about 20 minutes found problem. He said something about starter relay for compressor. And he had it in stock! After about 1hr my subzero started cooling again. Also he provide me 90 days warranty.. These guys are really good. Service: Refrigerator repair
M. Nuñez: I contacted Smart Repairs after my refrigerator was having issues with the freezer forming ice, the freezer door gasket leaking, and thus the temperature of the refrigerator was above 40 F. They responded very quickly through the Yelp texting feature, and informed me of their pricing structure. We set up an appointment for Tuesday from 9am-5pm. The young repair person was in my apt around 9:20am (he called me to let me know he was on his way, which was a really nice detail). After adjusting the freezer door gasket and cleaning the freezer fan of accumulated ice, he told me that there, was no need for further repairs, and that I only owed their visit fee ($85.00) which was amazing! Loved the punctuality, speed of repair (he was out by 10:00am), transparency (he explained everything to me) and honesty (only the basic visit fee, which they had shared before I agreed to the visit)? I would use them again!
WittBox: Alex fixed my samsung dryer today. I was impressed with his knowledge of dryers. Alex came out 2 days ago to diagnose the problem, he ordered the part, and when the part came in he was back out to fix my dryer. I appreciate the honest communication and fair price. Not only did he complete a job others were unable to, he was a delightful man! I own rental properties and wish I had known Alex years ago!!!!! Passing on his info to others in the housing industry with complete confidence that he will exceed expectations. I made copies of his business cards and will leave his contact with tenants for direct connection when in need of an appliance service calls or HVAC issues. Wish I could give 10 stars!
