Brenda Conyers: Someone picked up the phone and put me on hold and never picked up the phone to answer my question about renting tools! I was on hold for 20 to 25 more mins I took another call and nobody came back! Terrible customer service not coming back to the phone. I young lady answer the phone I heard her voice.

Michael: Rented dehumidifier from tool rental department. Spoke to staff on the phone before picking up and they agreed to stay open until I arrived, because this was late and looked like I might not make it during their regular business hours. Very polite and helpful. Equipment worked well.

Yvans Cator jr: Wish they had more equipment selection but the customer service made up for it. Had some issues with a piece of equipment and one of the supervisors helped remedy the situation. Also was a pleasure to speak to!

Emry: invalid quote by Fernando( manager i believe). Unacceptable and unprofessional. Month ago i requested a quote from him, I told him i need a 10k forklift for month. he sent me tricky proposal. He prepared as a weekly quote. It was around $3600. I signed the docs. End of the month i received the call from their office . She said would you like to extend return date , i said yes. When i was looking my bank statement they charged me 6739.81 . I was shocked than i called Fernando more then 10 times, he does not answer. One of my builder friend gave me another contact , i reached out the guy, i asked him what is the amount for ? He said this is our weekly rate. I got another surprise , i told him right away make a schedule pick up your equipment ASAP. They pick it up after 2 days they charge another fee $3468.36 for another week fee. That is terrible. I am a builder average of 10k forklift most of the company rate is $3500-$4000 monthly but United rental charging only weekly this amount . Very be careful if you rent from united rental and stay away FROM LiAr FERNANDO. Un responsive. I am not sure how he become a manager at that location.

Bruke Mekuria: Initially perplexed on what mower or trimmer to buy. I contacted Rental Works and they advised on renting their gas powered lawn mower + trimmer, which they delivered to my place. Both tools worked well. I was impressed with the mower so I bought it. Overall, seamless and great experience. Manager here is really helpful and knowledgeable on a range of tools. Great pricing!

t e: DISAPPOINTING Rented a manual aerator near closing time. It did not perform as expected because the tines were too dull. I returned it early after the store opened the next day. There was no replacement, as the store only had one of these. Was about to rent a motorized aerator from the store, but the manager refused to give any credit for the nonperforming manual aerator. I asked is that fair, but got no response. I did not expect this behavior from a neighborhood shop.

Dan Corcoran: Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They recently helped me pick the right snake for a drain problem, and walked me through details of how to work it into and out of the drain (Thanks Tim!). I rent an aerator annually, and the staff and owner have always been great. The aerator I rented one year had an issue and the staff immediately took care of it for me, also giving me extra time without even asking. Needless to say, they've won my business.

Dick Nicholson: Love this place. They generally have what you need, the prices are fair, which helps you avoid buying weird equipment that you'll only use once or twice, and they're very friendly. A couple of weeks ago I needed a metal detector, and they were in the process of of replacing their only one. I needed it in a hurry, and they called the moment it came in. We figured out how to use it together, and I was able to get the job done in no time.

Dave Danze: I have rented equipment there for 20 years now, and always the important factors are above average, if not well above. They know what they're doing and understand like Selfridge that the customer drives the business therefore comes 1st! I've recommended them to many neighbors over the years.

Gale Mcfadden: On the morning of my event I contacted OHR in desperate need of 15 folding chairs. I went immediately and was loaded up right away. The gentleman stacked the chairs neatly in the rear of my SUV and I was on my way in under 15 minutes and it only cost me $20.

John Gary: Rented a 10' uhaul truck, only kept for 2 hours, put gas in truck, and returned it.. When I returned it, the attendant took the truck to the lot without giving the millage, or gas reading. The front office says we will send you a receipt . 2 days later they added on $11.00 worth of gas even though I had just bought gas minutes before. as far as I am concerned this was a complete breach of trust.. Go anywhere except this place.
Response: Hello Gary: Sorry for the misunderstanding. We try our best to expedite our services to get customers in and out to go about their day. Some of our processes with U-haul don’t require you to wait. We ask you if you would like to wait for us to close the ticket or send you a receipt on the basis that the truck was returned with the same amount of fuel. I’ve reviewed your invoice to check where the problem may have occurred. As stated in the contract, it is the customers responsibility to check the fuel before leaving and return the gas tank at what it was dispatched. I did the calculation on how many miles were driven and you went approximately 74 miles. Our 10 foot trucks get and estimate of 12 mpg as stated on the U-haul website. If you can provide a fuel receipt around 6.17 gallons I would be happy to reimburse you for the fuel. Once again, I’m sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. Please feel free to reach me directly if you would like to discuss the issue. We hope this one instance doesn’t deter you from coming back. Jose Rodriguez: Smh Rated this place 5 star before but no more the girls at the front desk are no help. I set up my $50 guaranteed reservation with them to get a 6 x 12 trailer for 1 pm on the 20th of Saturday and come to find out someone who does not have the same last name as me and someone who does not have the same LICENSE NUMBER as me was able to take my RESERVED trailer. They didn't say sorry or anything they just told me to call uhaul to see if I can pick it up at another location. I didn't have time to go to another location I was thinking that pre checking in by the uhaul website should save me time but it did not save me time at all. I really needed the 6 by 12 but they didn't not try to accommodate me I was rhenone who mentioned if they had another size trailer and it was a 5 by 9 trailer which was not big enough but I needed a trailer. I wasn't even offered the $50 for the 50 dollar guarantee offer,of the reservation I asked for. When I finally got the 5 by 9 reserved it created another reservation and the girl who helped didn't even apologize or didn't seem to care for their mistake. To add to the frustration she put in for the trailer to be turned in the same day but I put online that I wanted to turn in the trailer for the 21st of march at 1 pm. Also, there were to reservations on my online uhaul. Rodney I know you are going to read this ir was much better when jackie was there she was legit.

moni cool: They are great as far as renting anything from them. And have everything you want for party's and home equipments, with reasonable prices.

neaneah Robinson: I called them last Friday no one answered the phone called back Monday they were closed left message for them to call me I was looking for tables on Tuesday I started calling them a lady answered I told her what I was looking for she told me they had only 5 foot and 8 foot tables so I told her I would take them for this coming Saturday she explained I needed to reserve through their email with credit card and license since it was my 1st time renting from them so I emailed them all my information and number of tables. Wednesday morning a man calls back and said he was sorry the lady was mistaken only 8 foot tables were available so I said ok I will take 3 of them he also asked me to scan my license and email it so I did. Thursday afternoon I get a text sorry no tables are available for Saturday but I could try AAA. I text back I don't understand I reserved them with my credit card and they didn't respond back so basically they left me high and dry for my son's graduation party yes next time I would have called a few weeks advance instead of a week but don't tell me you have them and I reserve them to turn around and say you don't

Our phone lines are busy on Friday, Saturday, and Mondays. We answer our phone lines in the order from which they were received and wait times may vary. Customers can experience wait times up to 15 minutes or more. We apologize that the wait times can be long but each customer is different where we can speak to someone for 10 mins for a small event or up to an hour for a large function. Our staff should have stated the wait may be long and offered to take your name and number down to give you a call back when we were available to get back to you. Sorry. Graduation season has always been the beginning of the busy season for our company. Item availability becomes limited if you try and make a reservation a week in advance. We always recommend making your reservation at least two to three weeks in advance to ensure availability. For new customers, creating an account via e-mail can take up to 24 to 48 hours. I see that you sent over your information on Wednesday afternoon and I apologize that we couldn't get back to you sooner than you expected. For faster service, we recommend to new customers to come down to our store. We can create an account and reserve items all at once. Again, we sincerely apologize to hear about the problems you experienced. We really appreciate your critique and we will use your review to improve our business services. Daryl Taylor: The desk was ok but the yard workers lack proper tool/equipment and I'll say traing to do their jobs properly.

Ernesto Ferreras: I lost my whole day because of a grinder machine, the first one was damaged then I drove back to the store 30m away, they replace it but I couldn't finish the job, 2 days later, they made me pay again, the 2nd machine didn't has power so had to return it again. They returned the payment but what about my and crew time that I lost? Now I'm happy renting in HercRentals.

Carib Gem: I rented a dehumidifier. The staff was very helpful especially with it being my 1st time there. The return process was very simple and quick! I was also able to easily extend my rental time over the phone.

Take Control of Your HVAC Ramirez: They always have what you need.Friendly customer service.I will keep renting equipment from them.

milo matute: very bad, I needed to rent a core drill with 4 ”bit and they only had 2 bits in the store (3” and 7 ”bit) I do not understand as a company so big where their motto is customer service, I cannot guarantee what it proclaims

Jarred Byrnes: I had a very good experience here. I Was able to rent a lawn aerator the day of on a Saturday in peak season for much cheaper than renting at Home Depot would have been. I don’t understand the bad reviews for the owner, he was very friendly and helpful. The other worker helped me load the equipment into my truck and was very thorough in giving instructions on operating the equipment. Will definitely use ACE for all my rentals from now on.

Dave Anders: Had occasion to go in this rental place on Thursday 8/3 to rent a tool. The old guy at the counter could not have been any ruder had he tried. The tool was to be rented by more boss using his CC over the phone. Not usually an issue but it certainly was here. When I was given the price I simply asked if the counter guy needed the number to call. He then stated "how does that become my job". I said " excuse me"! By now the phone is in his hand as he then ask "Who the f#*k am I calling"? I simply got my license off the register and gave him the cussing he so richly deserved. Went to the rental place across from Dominion Electric and did my business. Pleasant counter guy and saved $40 to boot. Y'all remember ACE isn't the only place to rent in town. Apparently they seem to think they are.

Andy Johnson: well everyone complains about this woman well if you do not like her you should go else where. She is half owner of the business and the other is her Brother. lol Now for me I only rent the log splitters and every year they look worse. I just called to see if they have any new ones and the lady said they are trying to get caught up on all of there repairs. Well repairs are not what they need. They need to replace. They are in rough shape. I am sure they could have a good house sell and sell all of their old stuff and buy some new items. This is what we are wanting from a rental company. Good and new equipment. that operates efficient.

Josh Karrasch: This tool rental store is a little out of my way but worth every second! They have the best equipment, it always works, and they never beat around the bush about cost. I know up front what I am going to pay when I bring it back, no surprises and the prices are competitive. I'll keep coming back!

Don McNair: Quick friendly service. In and out in 10 minutes, as opposed to the 30-45 minute wait to rent equipment at home depot. Been using Ace for years.

She's a cancer to that establishment, they should cut her out and start the chemo. If they didn't have the better prices around town if give them zero stars if I could. If that miserable woman is reading this then this is for you; no one is forcing you to work there, if you hate your job so much then go cry in the dark somewhere. This place will not see another dime from me until you are gone.

Josh (JB): My go to for rentals. Some of the equipment is has seen a few years but usually they have been well maintained or fixed. Guys out in the yard are great to talk to

Telma Umana: Worst place to rent equipment! The old man at the front desk charged me extra because the ladder I rented was not sliding down easily. When my guys try to lower the ladder at the job site the ladder wouldn't slide down. Alex M.: Got every rental to may need. Deposit fee varies by who attends you. I rented pressure washer twice. 1st time is was a 150 deposit. The 2nd time guy said it was 300. Then lowered to 200 since i didnt have that much cash with me. Rentals are checked before and after rental.

Harley Stine: Through the mold remediation company I use, First Priority USA, we rented a 40’ articulating arm lift to use in power washing algae from cedar shake shingle steep sloped roof on Saturday, June 27, 2020. The lift was delivered on Friday, June 26. The lift was perfect for the job though it took about 1 1/2 hours, including trip to Home Depot for 2” X 4” shims to level the lift. Articulating arm does not fully articulate unless unit is level. After that, the lift fully operational, it proved to be the perfect choice for the work which took 5 hours in all to complete. Lift rent @ $1000.00/day was indeed worth the rental cost which included lift delivery day before work day and return pickup. Though Sunbelt did not pickup until today Tuesday, June 30 and it required multiple phone calls to get the pickup. Efficient return was needed because the house lift was used at is a zero-lot-line home in a small cup-de-sac development of 15 homes. The house the lift was needed at off Old Chesterbrook Road is a narrow private street and parking is tight. After completion of work the lift was parked on thee street because access to driveway was needed on the following Monday morning for POD delivery to the driveway. Sunbelt Rental location is only 3.5 miles away which is why, I believe, rental price was reasonable but it should have been picked up on Monday, not Tuesday and so many phone calls is frustrating.

My husband did not ask for the receipt as he left and had provided his credit card information prior. We had actually made doubly sure this won’t cost more with a call before we picked up the tool. When we called and asked for an explanation we were told that a tool protection plan was added. We should have paid $100. That’s still no explanation for a $124 charge. Then we asked to receive the receipt via email and they said they’d sent it right away, we never got anything. Total rip off, never again for any sort of rental. Terrible customer service.

koura Gibson: Disappointed to be rudely treated for “walking into store” before opening. The door was wide opened and I entered only to be charged aggressively by the 3 attending employees, shouting for me to exit. I had to calm them down of their excitement to reprimand me for entering the store. There was no indication that the store was not opened. No hours were posted ether. Then the older guy rudely and aggressively closed the door as I exited. He then snarkly stated “I guess!” When informing him that 8:00 was in 14 minutes. It was really disappointing to have to endure such rudeness in the morning.

Nathan Deunk: Very convenient location, and they've really improved the store since they moved locations. Unfortunately, Fragers employees and contractors consistently endanger the residents of the surrounding community by illegally parking on both 11th SE and Pennsylvania SE. I can't support a store that cares so little for their neighbors, especially when those neighbors are their customers.

CB DCDiva: Greatly disappointed. Apparently Rental trucks is thru a 3rd party service that was not shared when i called to check the day before! I was told no reservations were possible and come to the store in the morning. Well what a waste of time. Hertz-Penske is handling truck rentals at Home Depot and apparently no one told the store staff, answering the phone! My day was disrupted and i had to scramble to make alternate arrangements to rent a truck for the day. Thank you Enterprise. You have a new customer.

Leslie Nichole: We had a really great experience with A&A rental Station. We needed to make a last minute reservation for tables and chairs for an event that was three days away. When I called A&A Rental Station I was not completely sure how I wanted my setup to look. I changed my table and chair choice a couple of times but they were patient and helped me to choose the most affordable option for my number of guests. We rented 6 8' rectangular tables and 40 chairs. We also rented 3 white banquet tablecloths (floor length) and 3 white regular tablecloths (knee length). The tablecloths were high quality and worth it. Drop off and pick up was very easy. I would definitely use them again.

David Fawcett: Update: I originally did a 1-star rating because of my experience with Nick below. When I returned the equipment today, the woman behind the counter who I said was great is, in fact, the owner and we had a nice chat about her employee. I will leave the original review below, but suffice it to say I will be back because she is a great business owner. Original review: People say don't write emails when angry. Well, since it's important to remember the the guy who offered ZERO customer service, this isn't one of those times. Now, for the record, I have used them many times and the service has been great. The lady at the desk and the gentleman servicing the equipment are both very nice. And then there is Nick. The cliff note version...I called at 4:24, said I could be there in 8 minutes so my rental could be a 3 hour rental instead of a full day and Nick's reply "sorry, no one will be here" Are you kidding me?!? You can't stay TWO EXTRA MINUTES to save a loyal customer some money?!?! Certainly, Nick can't stay! His approach? "Customers? who needs 'em! I've got places to be" Well Nick, good news! You have one less customer to get in your way. Kudos!

David Caccavo: New Experience: rented a floor polisher and mastic blade to remove tough mastic off concrete. Before leaving I asked if I could renturn it ASAP for a full refund if it did not work at all, they said of course. 1 hr later I returned and received a full refund and tried a floor scraping tool. Fast forward an hour and 15 minutes and I am back again with no better results and a sore back from another heavy machine up and down the stairs. This time they said they would charge me just the 3 hr rate. I raised the point of asking before and they finally settled on a 1 hr prorated rate and the purchase of an $18 scraping blade I used. I felt this was not fair and am not impressed with how they handled it. 7 Months ago I had left them a 5 star review on here and felt I should update it to reflect my new experience. I wish it went better, because I much prefer to support the small business. 1st experience: Rented a floor sander here, nice people. Also policy is full refunds on unused paper so don't be like me and just buy a ton of different sandpaper on the first trip.

Alice Riethman: Setup, delivery, and tear down of the dance floor we rented were seemless (even with our after hours tear down request). They did exactly what we hired them to do and the dance floor was good quality and exactly what we ordered. There is room for improvement in their online booking and communications. When booking online, the process was not as clear as one would have hoped and thereafter there was some confusion as to whether a deposit had already been charged (both could be improved with a system upgrade and/or more proactive communications). However, they were polite, helpful, accommodating and got the job done!

Jonathan Stoner: I actually received really awesome service here... things must have changed. I rented a pressure washer here, which overall worked well. They let me rent a higher PSI for the same price as a lower one because they were rented out. Also, they let me keep it longer to finish my job when I asked - again did not charge me extra. I would highly recommend to my friends.

Jen Blue: These guys are AMAZING. They are friendly and easy to work with and have a good selection (I rented a long table, some chairs, and two space heaters for an outdoor holiday celebration this past weekend. the morning the stuff was supposed to be delivered it was warm enough I thought I didn't need the space heaters and cancelled them. Of course at 5:15 it was cold again and I was panicked and regretted cancelling them. I called AA Rental and they were amazingly nice about it and got them delivered within 30 minutes to my house which I didn't expect and was so grateful for. They were cordial, timely, just great to work with. Highly recommend.

Pete Nuland: Rented wheelchair for my Father who was visiting from out of town. The rate was great $31 for a week. Quote from another vendor was $75 for a week. Wheelchair was in great shape and clean. It was covered in plastic when we picked it up. Friendly staff. Pick up and Drop off was easy - no hassle. Will definitely use them again when renting equipment.

Tim Booher: Customer service is pretty poor. Overall, there seems to be little concern with an overall good experience. The equipment did work well and the maitenance staff was helpful. They also did a good job loading the equipment. However, the front desk is patronizing, not well informed and impatient while not being sensitive to customers time.

B Thornberry: I've used D&B several time for projects around the house and each time I've been extremely satisfied. They have good prices, a large selection, and the staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Giving a big shout-out to Jon O. Always very helpful.

Cory Laws: I'm not quite sure how to judge, but I've always liked D&B. The guys at the counter have always been friendly, and had personality, which I like. I like talking trash a bit, or just making people smile. Their shop is old, but has been updated inside and is a lot nicer than I remember from a few years ago. I've rented from them recently, but had grading equipment delivered. Tools are plentiful and in good shape. I've never had any problems. Pricing is also good, especially compared to the national chain across the street.

The price was best of any place in the area. All the attendees were friendly and easy going, and took extra time to explain how to use the equipment. Jeff Parnes: Needed a tiller to get my garden ready for planting. Rented a 5hp unit for a reasonable price for 4 hours. They helped me load and unload it. Easy to do, recommend them!

Matt Mella: Just finished aerating a 1 acre lawn with a ride on machine from D&B - this thing was a beast. In under an hour I had great quality plugs with minimal effort. I've got a decent sloped hill on part of my property and was able to navigate it with the ride on easily. Compared to the walk behind I used last year my plugs were at least twice as long and the walk behind took me a solid 3-4 hours compared to this one hour. Highly recommend!

Joe W.: Great customer service. The only place that would rent me a trailer wide enough. The 15 other rentals either didn't have the size and width I needed or refused to rent since I was not a construction company. From start to finish amazing customer service. When I arrived they we great help on hook up, double-checking everything and letting me borrow a pinion hitch at no extra cost. On returning they went above and beyond. I only had one day to return the trailer that week, and I would not be able to make it until 10 minutes after closing. They said no problem bring it up. A large storm hit a few miles from the shop and turning that 10 minutes into 30 minutes past closing. They still helped me out. I know what it's like trying to get off to see family after a long day, but you are held back. I can't thank them enough for working with me.

Danny Climo: Have used D&B for two separate projects and have been very happy with their service. In particular, I rented a bush hog to clear some land and through a fault of my own, D&B replaced the hog same day without no additional charge. Have also used their aerator for a yard project and the tool worked well. Great prices and customer service.

Dan A.: I have to do this place justice after seeing some of the other negative reviews. I rented an aerator from them for use. My experience when calling to check for prices, all the way through my drop off was excellent. The folks are friendly, Oscar was great and loaded it up into the truck for me. He also check the gas and topped it off moments before putting it my truck. They provided me with a brief lesson on how to use it. I will definitely be back to rent from them when I need to. Excellent experience excellent service friendly people. And on top of it the most competitive price I found while shopping around.

Jennifer Phillips: Just wanted to give a review for the help we just received via phone. Tina was her name and she was amazing and so knowledgeable. She was able to answer all the questions we had and transfer us to where we needed to be. I hope this review makes it to her desk.

Terri R: Cannot recommend this place. I went by to rent an auger for a fence project and they brought out a piece of equipment that looked like it was about 30 years old. I asked them to please start it up before I took it home and their surly mechanic took about 30 minutes and it wouldn't start up. I had to wait in line again to get the rental taken off my card. Poor customer service all the way around. Luckily, I found a great auger at a better price at La Plata Mill & Supply.

MARQUIETTE RUSSELL-JUDKINS: Just went here to see if they have certain equipment but got discouraged cause of the price. However, I ended up with a very knowledgeable person who explained the process and what I really need and what I'm trying to do with the size of the land I have. If you are a hands on person I would recommend you to walk the property and talk to someone here.

kfbrls: Awesome group of people!! I've been there 4 times so far and every time I had a great experience. All of the employees are very helpful and have such great attitudes. Its sad to say but it's hard to find people like that these days. Definitely highly recommend this place!!!

Matthew Neiman: I visited here in the spring to rent an auger. Great facility and staff was very helpful. Didn’t have the equipment I wanted on site but tried to get it from another store nearby. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the right size bit I asked for and the job was a bit more difficult. They did help me out on the backend to makeup for the extra work. I plan on going back to rent some lawn equipment in the future.

Nathan Klawa: Sometimes people are lame. Sometimes people are ignorant. Sometimes people are stupid. But rarely people are all three! Sadly, Sunbelt Rental staff are. I called them recently to ensure my truck could tow a certain trailer I needed for a job. A chirpy staff member assured me, "No problem, Sir, this trailer is made for a standard 2" ball." However, on the day of the job, I went to pick the trailer up and a Sunbelt staff member told me that I was not only attempting an illegal act by towing a trailer longer than my truck, but that they, the best, brightest Sunbeltians, would be subject to STATE FINES for aiding AND abetting crime!!! Truly, I am disappointed in the technical knowledge of their staff. At an equipment rental place, costumers rely on staff to have at least a basic degree of training and common sense. It depresses me to think what the construction world is coming to...ignorance and conceit mixed all up into pudgy desk warmers. 😟 At least don't be rude, ignorance is forgivable in extreme circumstances, but rudeness - never!

Stephen Klawa: Reservations mean nothing here! After confirming that our truck could tow an 18 ft trailer and reserving it, we went to pick it up. When we got there they refused to rent it to us!

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.
