David Norman: I would never rent from here. I was looking to rent a mini excavator and calling around to get prices from everyone in the area. The united rental person that answered the phone was Anthony was definitely the rudest person i talked to all day also they are about 100 dollars more a day then there competitors. Audrey Lester: Blind Customer: I increased shopping here during pandemic, as it’s in my community. On nearly all visits, I’m greeted at front door by a very knowledgeable staff member. I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!

koura Gibson: Disappointed to be rudely treated for “walking into store” before opening. The door was wide opened and I entered only to be charged aggressively by the 3 attending employees, shouting for me to exit. I had to calm them down of their excitement to reprimand me for entering the store. There was no indication that the store was not opened. No hours were posted ether. Then the older guy rudely and aggressively closed the door as I exited. He then snarkly stated “I guess!” When informing him that 8:00 was in 14 minutes. It was really disappointing to have to endure such rudeness in the morning.

Al Boyd: Customer service, was excellent. But I didn't appreciate being mistaken for a thief. I had the receipt was in my bag. I am a retired police officer, I don't need too steal anything from anyone.

Nathan Deunk: Very convenient location, and they've really improved the store since they moved locations. Unfortunately, Fragers employees and contractors consistently endanger the residents of the surrounding community by illegally parking on both 11th SE and Pennsylvania SE. I can't support a store that cares so little for their neighbors, especially when those neighbors are their customers.

Jacqueline Mariano: Decent customer service initially. When equipment was dropped off they were two hours early usually not a bad thing but for our specific logistics didn’t work out well. We rented on a Friday for weekend use but the equipment brought was too big and I was told to rent elsewhere because they were closed and they’d deal with it on Monday. Well it’s Monday and I still haven’t heard from anyone not even for pick up. I called 5 hours after they opened and just said they’d text me with an eta. Horrible customer service after our initial phone call. And we Beat not even be charged because we could not use the equipment at all and went elsewhere as they suggested. No one called over the weekend or even followed up.

dc delivery: Absolutely amazing service. Used their go-go scooter for a 3 day festival and only had to charge it 1 time! Excellent service! Same-day on-time delivery, great pricing and friendly and communicative! ZERO HASSLE! I wouldn’t have been able to even go to the festival without this service at all. I was so excited to learn how easy their service was! WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN!

Karla Stewart: I learned about Express Mobility after the original company I had reserved a mobility scooter from canceled my order at the last minute. The hotel concierge at the hotel recommended Express Mobility and while they were more expensive than the first company, they came through and made it possible for my grandmother to get around during our visit to Washington DC. Delivery and pickup were easy and seamless. I highly recommend this company. The price is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5, but given the circumstances the additional cost was absolutely worth it.

Joe Vaszily: Avoid this company!! Very poor customer service. Lack of communication with customers. Will never rent from them again and will not recommend them to family & friends. They wasted my time waiting for a scooter delivery that they texted and emailed me the morning of the scheduled rental that it would be delivered to us by 10am. Waited from 9:30am to 11am then called. Claimed to not have my reservation but called me back to tell me that they delivered the scooter to the hotel concierge the day before but never bothered to inform us. Claimed the texts and emails I received were automated. So how is the customer supposed to know the scooter was sitting in a remote storage area of the hotel? A courtesy email or text would have sufficed to let me know the scooter was delivered. Instead we wasted a full morning of a $175 per day rental.

Due to the cherry Blossom festival today, we had extremely busy day and the hotel was supposed to inform you that the Scooter was delivered. As you can see on other reviews, we are known for taking ownership and caring deeply about our customers. We can’t fix the past, but you have my personal commitment to improve the way we serve every customer. Until then, please accept my sincerest apologies.

Jennifer Kirby: I got to DC and shortly thereafter had a back wheel come irreparably off my four year old chair. This was a Friday evening. I called Express Mobility at 10 on Saturday and had a quality rental power chair at my hotel before noon. Was able to enjoy 3 full active days in DC. Thanks! Owner is friendly, and efficient and professional. Hopefully won't need again, but if I do, I won't worry.

Sunny Kifle: I contacted Express Mobility Services last weekend to rent scooter for my aunt who was traveling from out of state. I must say the customer service I received, such as the quick response, politeness and accommodating with short notice to have the scooter fully charged and deliver at the door. ariam gebrehiwot: I rented a scooter last weekend form Express Mobility for the weekend and it was at my hotel when I arrived. It was clean and fully Charged. It was so nice having the Scooter at the hotel! The DC Metro public transportation were accessible. I did not have to worry about getting around to the Museums and National Parks. I was able to use my Scooter in Downtown DC also. I highly recommend renting from Express Mobility Services.

Rahel Yirga: I traveled to the DC Metro area at least Three times a year for the past 4 years. I use Express mobility services for my scooter needs every time. They have been very reliable, punctual and have very competitive pricing. Once as I was getting ready for a meeting, before I left my hotel I had problem with the scooter I rented from them. When I called the company, the phone was answered immediately and their service man came within 20 minutes. He took care of the problem and I was able to get to my meeting on schedule. There service men had good sense of urgency, he was very professional knowledgeable and courteous. I couldn't say that about any other company I used before. I will recommend Express mobility services to anyone that needs their services."

Elizabeth Pura: Easy and excellent customer service. Looked for an electric wheelchair for my mom for a quick trip to DC last minute. Thank you for the delivery to our hotel (this was a plus). My family and my mother really enjoyed their short visit to DC. I’ve never seen my mother so happy and not feel like a burden by not being able to walk with the family. It was a great choice for us to rent and thank you for providing this service, which isn’t easy to find for senior citizens or people who have mobility challenges. We are truly greatful. It was a win-win for the entire family and my mom was able to enjoy the National Mall and see the White House with ease. Marissa Robinson: Booked the Bentley Pontoon boat for 10 friends to celebrate my boyfriends birthday on a perfect partly cloudy Sunday afternoon! Our captain Mark was so accommodating and Bri helped coordinate/answer any questions I had prior to our boat ride. Overall a great experience and highly recommend Shaods & Miracles if you’re in the DC Area. You won’t get better pricing, vibes, and double thumbs up to supporting a local Black owned business!!!!!!!!!!!

Legacy Genius: My son and I came in town for a day of fun, and we decided to rent jet ski's. Rather than leave it to chance we rented jet ski's about 6 to 8 weeks in advance. Of course, when you.rent that far in advance, you never know what the weather is going to be. It just so happened thaton tthe day we had it scheduled the weather forecast was heavy rain. We called Shaod's & Miracle and they quickly made the accommodations for us to come one day earlier when it was nice and sunny and warm. We had an amazing time. To top it off, our guide recognized how special this father-son moment was and asked us if we wanted him to take a quick video of the two of us on the jet skis. He did a phenomenal job wiith the pics and video. We will treasure this time together and we'll have a video to show for it for many years to come. The service was top notch! We felt very comfortable and everything was very professional from startbto finish. The training and instructions were simple and easy to follow. I highly recommend Shaods & Miracle to anyone interested in renting jet ski's within the DMV region!

Katie Flood: I’m extremely disappointed with the service of this company. I reserved three jet skis for a fun outing with coworkers and it was a huge waste of $500. An error in their system was showing my time differently and there was nothing they would do to accommodate after proving the error. Never a call back when they said they would TRY to look into it. When I called back I could never connect through. Absolutely appalled with the customer service and will never recommend this company to anyone. I should have read more recent reviews like these others before booking. It was a mistake to book here.

Sharon Edmondson: Absolutely terrible experience! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO RECENT REVIEWS! Something is very wrong here. I planned my grandsons 16th birthday party around this jet ski excursion. They called 2.5 hrs before our scheduled ride and said they were canceling our reservation due to rain forecast. They stated it was already sprinkling there. I was already at the marina at a friends boat and sun shining, not a drop of rain in sight! When I ask for full refund she said she’d have to check with owner & call me back. After waiting 1.5 hr I called her back. Again, she has to get owners permission! When she finally called me back she stated they would refund but the problem was actually faulty skis. So which one is it??? Chesapeake bay is half the price and saltwater. The whole deal was sketchy. Don’t be disappointed!

Daysen Havoc: A trip from work left me stuck in DC for the weekend, I took a chance by booking a jet ski rental, and I’m so glad I did! Very laid back atmosphere, they let you have your own fun! Friendly, hard working people, their equipment is in good shape, and it’s a beautiful place to be on the water! The scenery is beautiful, Fort Washington is right on the river. Even saw a couple bald eagles flying around, and wildlife like some deer and turtles. If I find myself out here again, I’ll definitely come back!

Karizma Dickson: I would give zero stars if I could. Had a bad experience with this business. We drove over an hour to get there. Once we arrive two underaged kids opened the gate for us and walked off without telling us where to go. We took the test to ride the jet skis but once we were done, we were then told we would have to be rescheduled because of a problem with one of the jet skis. I myself was surprised that there was only two jet skis. We expressed that would would like a refund instead of being rescheduled because of our distance and schedules. We were told that we would not be able to receive a refund for the jet skis because it was not their fault. I was told to send a text (to the same person i was speaking to) even though I already had told her the whole story. This business obviously doesn’t care about their customer service. It really sucks because the jet skis that we never rode cost over $300.00. I am planning on filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

Lauren Ching: Had an amazing first experience jet skiing! Our tour guide, Jemol, was incredible! The skis are brand new and Jemol really enhanced the experience. He took the time to take pictures and played our favorite music.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

As a potential customer, I would have appreciated an explanation or a phone call out of professional courtesy to return mine.
Response: Sorry, lack of good dependable help was our problem. These past 18 months was a challenge. One of our best men passed months earlier. Three new employees lasted 8 - 36 days this summer. Three weeks ago another one of our men went into the hospital. Sorry again

While using the machine, a belt broke but I was able to bring it back, have it fixed and then finish my project with minimal time lost. Very impressed. Lamar Taylor: I drove from Central Texas up to Alexandria, Virginia hauling my car on a transporter. Pulling a car with a 16' truck was definitely a gas thirsty trip that cost me about $350. To rent the truck it cost $1016, Tax and Military discount applied. My only true gripe is that it rained quite a bit and I noticed the rain was getting into the cab of the truck from a seal that was behind me which connected the truck cab to the back of where my house hold goods were. I also noticed that rain was able to penetrate the back of the truck where my items were and wet a mattress and wooden table. Next time I think I'll Have my household goods shipped and pay for my car to be transported. Simply speaking from a cost stand point, it would have been cheaper overall to have everything shipped.

Ay-Ay Ron G.: I normally have a good experience with Penske (too Bad Marissa isn't at Alexandria any more). This time, there was an error in estimating my rental. I was surprised by the $100 overcharge. The 'manager', Simone was combative, argumentative, and cut me off repeatedly in my attempts to simply discover where the error occurred. Understanding a customer is the first step to diffusing problems. While she is correct that I should have read my contract instead of trusting the person's estimations, the person failed to update to the final mileage we talked about. I didn't look at the contract/estimate before as I was completely sure he was tracking my needs. The business took no responsibility in this situation for the human error, or even making a good customer happy. Errors occur....Splitting the difference in human error would have gone a long way toward making a problem turn into a happy customer. I told her she could make we eat the whole thing, and what would that do to the relationship (I rent trucks for various things from time to time). That cost Penske at least more than the $50 in splitting it, just in business from me. That's not a good position and I'd rather do business with people who are reasonable and nice.

Dave Teal: I called Uhaul first and they had so many restrictions on where I could pickup a truck and how long I could use it, very frustrating. So I called Penske, and they couldn't have been nicer and much more flexible than Uhaul. Yes, they might be a bit more expensive (pay for mileage), but I was impressed with their service and their flexibility to my constantly changing moving schedule. They even gave me a military discount! I will recommend them to others and return with my business!

Michael Brown: As a company, REI should not inflict their political beliefs onto customers. That said, they carry good gear and this particular location is fantastic. Every time I have come here they have exactly what I need. The staff are friendly and helpful and generally knowledgeable. I don’t know who makes REI branded clothes and gear, but they do a good job.

Mike R: I like this store for so many reasons. First: they have excellent customer service. Today I walked in with my bike to get my flat tire fixed. A woman approached me and signed me in. Then a man walked up to me and asked if I would like to him to park my bike. I was appalled by this gesture. Second: This establishment has everything here. I mean like… leave that bike area if you want to. You will be buying anything from energy gel to underwear. Third: conveniently located right beside the metro.

Andrea Wu: I came here to pick up my shoes that I ordered online, and after trying them out in nature, they were too big so I came back to return and get new ones. The staff helping me was very helpful, bringing me different shoes for me to try on. I finally got a pair that fit properly, and checkout was pretty speedy too. Parking on the street might be a bit tough, but it's not too bad!

H Gill: Great store! love REI… but checking out here is always a 15 min wait. The checkout line moves at a snail’s pace, and the managers/supervisors don’t seem to care. I’ve seen customers put items down and leave out of frustration.

Rebecca Tolbert: Generally a good store, but the parking situation is currently very weird. You park in the parking deck and then have to walk all the way around a whole city block because they have blocked off the elevator and stairs. So, you drive into the parking deck and then have this surprise journey ahead of you, through a sketchy alley and everything. Just wanted to give other customers a heads up!

Ben Layton: Bike shop effectively closes at 6:30, not 7:00, since you have to get on a wait-list to get the bike checked in and the wait-list closes at 6:30. Called in advance and told them when I'd get there and they didn't mention that, so came all the way here for nothing. Turnaround on basic repairs also 9-10 days rn, which is honestly nuts.

R: Oddly enough they aren’t dog friendly yet I saw a pitbull walking around without a service vest. The area around is horrendous, good luck finding a parking spot. Really disappointed that REIs aren’t dog friendly yet their competitors REI and Bass Pro is.

Heavyboy501: I come here quite often due to my job as a project manager. I come here at 6:05am and I take time to find stuff no problem. The issue lies in the staff every time I go to the pro desk to check out nobody is ever there. Today I called to ask what the availability on garden Sod was and the person working at the Lawn and Gardening section did not pick up I was on a long wait and eventually a staff member picked up I waited a while and transferred my call without telling me. Someone on the other line picked up and hung up as soon as I got transferred. I called again and someone from the Lawn and Gardening section answered the phone only to hang up on me.

Demia Roman: I went to this store today and the service was horrible. I wanted to purchase 1 bag of kings Charcoal but apparently they only sell them in 2 pks. I didn't know this because the bags on display were all individually stacked. I grabbed one and some lighter fluid and proceeded to the purchase counter at self checkout. A employee stopped me to tell me I had to buy 2 bags and I said I only want one bag. They continued to argue me down insisting that I must buy 2 bags. I asked for the manager because I mentioned to the employee that the bags are literally on display as individual bags. There was no sign stating that the bags were for sale in packs of 2. I felt the store was trying to force me to buy more than what I needed because there wasn't a sign listing the price and that they were sold in 2s. The manager eventually came over and told me I had to buy 2 or pay for 2 and take one bag. So I said ok fine just get me out of here I paid for the charcoal and fluid and I asked him if he could help me get another bag as the bags are heavy and there were no carts available due to memorial day shoppers taking up the carts. He said he could call someone to help me but it would be about 15 minutes before anyone would help. Sir excuse me? You're literally standing here doing NOTHING why couldn't you help me to carry these bags seeing as though I also had my 3 yr old autistic son with me struggling and I was struggling to carry the bag and handle my toddler who is clearly special needs! Smh whoever that manager is needs additional customer service training or needs NOT to be working for this company. He clearly ignored the fact I had my special needs child and needed immediate assistance and outright refused to assist me HIMSELF with my bags.. NEVER AGAIN will I shop at this location. Very ghetto and the store is a mess on the regular (hence the bags of charcoal not being bounded together properly on display to be sold as a pack of 2). Do better please train your staff and management in customer service and helping those with special needs & keep the store clean with items placed neatly and correctly w/price signs visible.

abigale Wallace: Today I went to get some Sheetrock and when I got there I asked them if I could rent a truck to take it home they said absolutely! So I said okay let me go grab the Sheetrock real quick and they said okay see you then. So I bring the TWO hand carts I loaded of 20 things of Sheetrock to the desk to load to the truck and they say “oh sorry we stop renting the truck at 6pm” same person I had just talked to like 15 minutes before at 5:20pm… Waist of my time and energy! Most of the people here don’t know anything about the job they are working or where things are at. This was just the last straw for me.

Layla Abney: Probably the worst HD I have been to. During my basement remodel I placed many orders for pickup by me or my contractor. Half of my order would get canceled because they “said” they didn’t have the items that they were supposed to have when I placed the order. Basic things like corner bead, 5 gallon bucket of Behring paint. I would go to the store to find a replacement only to find the original items were actually there, most times in the quantities that were indicated online. Going to the “customer service” counter for returns is hit or miss but mostly miss. I need to wait for someone to finish texting, having a personal conversation with a coworker, or whatever else prevents them from acknowledging me in a timely manner. Then the attitude as though I am bothering you by having a return or the fact that someone was too lazy to actually pull my order. I try to avoid at all costs even though it is the closest one.

Spank Detail: This rating is based my personal shopping experience with an associate that seems to work in the power tools department. She is VERY knowledgeable and makes all the sense when giving recommendations on products and usage, stats, pros & cons. Sadly I did make note of her name but she has helped me with my purchases on about 5, 6 previous occasions since June of 2021. She is a brownskin queen, pleasant west indian/Caribbean accent, friendly, bubbly and attentive. What stuck out the most to me is her ability to fully focus on your issue while still working WITHOUT making you feel like like you're in the way or slowing her down from doing her job. Don't you just shake your head at those employees that give you that 'I'm busy working, what do want?" attitude. Like their work does not include customers 🤷🏾‍♂️. Needless to say it was refreshing and as a business owner myself I promise you employees like these are hard to find and come with experience, a knack for working or both. Good job HD. Next time I shop here it may be for a future employee 😂 (I'll get her name and edit this post she needs her shout out!)

Jesus Is Able !: Don’t go to this place if you expect to be treated well . I was with a group of women and our experience was very poor . Two of our riders fell off there jet ski due to the jet ski employee guide circling the women on the jet ski in a dangerous manner causing high waves to rock the water craft throwing them into the water . After coming in we expressed our concerns to Henry whom said he was the manager and he said he would speak with the employee . Then he proceeded to become combative saying that there was no more he could do . What a good manager or employee should have done was apologize that our $200-$300 dollar experience was ruined by an employee who was not following the rules and being negligent and reckless with his water craft . Throwing two passengers into the water one whom could not swim , the reckless employee did not offer to help the women riders back on the jet ski and Nor did the manager offer partial Or full refunds or any future rental credits or vouchers. As well with the manager and employee using combative words and tones only offering requested half hearted lack luster apologies . Looking for more black owned business to open in this particular field of water recreation that I may give my dollar to those who will respect and appreciate my business .

Jenie Lopez: The staff is amazing, they all greet you like you are the long lost favorite cousin. Check in was fast. The host ensured my 11yr old daughter understood the rules and checked her life jacket twice. They're located down the ramp from the restaurant so if you are not jet skiing you can relax and have a drink while waiting for your loved ones. I truly felt like I was in a Caribbean country or Miami. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. I can't forget to mention I enjoyed my military discount.

True Review: I never went Jet skintight before. It was something, I always wanted to do. This past summer I finally had a chance go and it was one of the best experiences I ever had. I went three more times in the summer and took my kids with me. They had a great time as well

Shacolbe Zhané: This place is great, we were late to our appointment and still they greeted us with a smile, prompt service, and a positive attitude. The set up for this place overall is unique very well kept. The bathrooms were clean and the staff overall was very helpful. While you are out riding there are staff that watch you so overall your still safe. I would rate this place 20/10 and I cannot wait to return :)

K Z (K Z Lax): SR Jet ski rental is down the dock walk way to the left of The Pier Restaurant. Check in was quick and easy. Just about 5 min of paperwork to fill out. The team was polite and professional. Staff was very easy going but very helpful and informative. They make sure and new riders are 100% comfortable with driving the Jetskis before they cut you loose. They give you a lot of freedom to cruise as fast as you would like. I will defiantly have another date with my wife here again!

Jamela Love: I recently went to Lowe's to purchase a washing machine. Memorial Day was over but they had the sale extended into June. Excellent! I didn't see an associate to help me and was about to be agitated, as one associate did finally appear and let me (and another customer) know we had five minutes of help that he could offer! Then Chris arrived! He was so efficient, clear and helpful!!! I was very impressed especially since I rarely shop here and mostly go to lowe's main competitor. This day i was there just because I happened to be in the area. Chris' professionalism and thoroughness really was impressive--so much so that I knew I would write a review. But it gets even better! The reason Lowe's gets 5 stars is because of the wonderful contractor they hired to install my washer! I believe the name is Augustin and the actual technician's name was Ramon. Ramon absolutely went above and beyond to assist me in getting my washer installed. The level of service, kindness and completeness that he provided is better than any I"ve ever received while living in this home. I was so blessed by them coming through and addressing unexpected issues with class, gentleness and understanding. If it were not for Ramon and his staff I still would be without a washing machine today. They took it upon themselves to repair a rusted pipe without charging me anything additional...this is unheard of in today's time. Thank you so very much Lowe's--I am now a new customer. I definitely will come back!!!!

Patrick Walsh: Lowe's in Clinton Maryland has made drastic improvements with their customer service in the past couple months. I had some negative interactions back in July and August of last year which caused me to leave some negative reviews. Since then every time I have walked in the store, every team member that I have dealt with, has been very helpful and absolutely amazing to me. I actually enjoy going to the Lowe's in Clinton instead of driving some distance to one of the other stores now.

They dropped off and picked up on time and even went the extra mile to have someone come to my house after setup to bring extra chairs and show me how to work the generator. The set up crew were the best, Stanley and his crew were super helpful and just pleasant to work with. The bathroom trailer guy was the best, he made sure everything was all set for operation. This company did an excellent job which in turn helped me to provide a beautiful setting for my daughters wedding. The tent was delivered and retrieved by a professional and courteous team. The tent itself was absolutely magical! Everyone kept asking about and admiring it! It's presence brought an undeniable elegance and cache to the event, while also providing peace-of-mind for the summer storms. I highly recommend A Grand Event without reservation!

Jill Nienhiser: A Grand Event was easy to work with, responsive via email, and gave us a discount for paying in cash for our wedding tent at the Hendry House in Arlington VA. They are one of two approved tent vendors for this site and I chose them based on their better reviews. Wes guided me on the various choices I needed to make. We had a frame tent with lights and fans and a marquee tent over the stairs between house and tent in case of rain. It did not rain, but the tent still provided welcome shade and a festive feel (we decorated it with flag bunting in rows overhead. One lesson learned (too late for me but may help you): Be sure to communicate as early as you know, and then again in the last days prior to your event, about the timeline. AGE initially gave us a window of "9-12" to set up the tent, and said they'd get back to us closer to the date. They didn't, and I forgot to confirm. I did assume the window meant that at the latest they'd be done at noon, but though they'd arrived on the early side of the window and the tent was "up" by 11:45, they were still securing it and installing weights, lights, and fans until about 1pm. Our decorator was there at 11 hoping to start putting up the bunting. And their large truck was blocking the service drive, interfering with delivery of alcohol, cake, and flowers. All is well that ended well...everyone delivered, tent got decorated, etc. But do talk through with ALL vendors the schedule of the other vendors if you can to avoid delays and anxiety on your part!

From the linens and glassware to the tables and chairs they make it possible for me to set a beautiful table for our large family dinner. And they make the process incredibly easy with the delivery and pick up service.

Laura Bee: SV Cleaning was the first business to respond to my Yelp request for carpet cleaning, and their responsiveness remained gratifying and prompt. I had a large area with pretty bad pet stains and odor and two other, smaller areas. Their estimate was pretty average compared with other companies’, but I knew the bad spot would push the estimate up some, and in the end the price was within (and not at the top!) of their estimate range. Even better - the work is beautiful!! Even the really bad patch is now creamy and clean, and completely odorless!! Rebecca Sheppard: I wanted to rent a grinder to work on my garage floor. United Rentals had to get the machine from another place. They got it back early, but the blades were missing so they ordered brand new blades while they tracked down the originals. Also, since it was a Friday rental and they are closed over the weekend, I got to keep the machine until Monday. It was in great condition and worked perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely use them again.
