City Segway Tours: what do users think?
Anup Rao
Anup Rao: The staffs were friendly and our guide Rob was amazing and took care of us.Safety first and we had a great segway tour around the beautiful monuments of DC.
Cindy Harper
Cindy Harper: The tour was a blast. We did the 6PM sunset tour and I have to say this was the highlight of our trip to DC. Anna was our guide and she was super knowledgeable and funny! Yes, she definitely made the tour a 5 star! We will go with City Segway Tours next time in DC or any city we visit that they are located.
Chris VanBelle
Chris VanBelle: What a fun and informational tour. I would have loved to dine a larger tour and learned more. Wear comfy shoes, and be ready to go if it rains. It was an awesome tour!!
Imran Khanji
Imran Khanji: Did the segwey tour a few years ago and now the bike tour. Highly recommend bike tour with Tom. Bike tour allows you to go to more places and get off in more places because segweys have more restrictions. Also, highly recommend doing the tour at night.
J. S.
J. S.: It was our first time riding on segways. Our guide was very good in teaching us how to safely ride them. She also was very fun to communicate with. Overall the tour was very informative and interesting. In three hours we were able to see a lot of historical buildings and monuments
Kyle Hayes
Kyle Hayes: So much fun will do again great guide he was very knowledgeable and funny
Emily Thompson
Emily Thompson: This was an absolutely fantastic experience! Could not recommend it enough. Not only was it a great way to see a large portion of the sites, far faster than walking it all, our guide was wonderful and his commentary gave interesting context and added backstory to the sites we saw. We did the night tour and it was perfect -- cooler temperatures in the evening, sunset and later, the nightime uplighting on the memorials, was amazing! We had plenty of time at each memorial to explore and take pictures. Overall we had blast on the Segways (it was our first time riding them, but it was so easy and so fun!) We will definitely be looking to do Segway tours in other cities we visit!

Capital Segway Tours: what do users think?
Josiah Dahlstrom
Josiah Dahlstrom: These guys were awesome. Great training in the Segways and the tour was awesome. I’ve been to DC 4 different times but haven’t done a tour. This was the way to do it. Knowledgeable tour guides. Lots to see and great spots to snap pics. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. And Erica was out tour guide. She was fabulous!
Sachin Sujir
Sachin Sujir: One of the best tours I have ever been on. Thanks to the staffs and tour guide at Capital Segway tours for making my trip memorable and fun. Kind and great staffs and tour guides. They were patient during the training and the tour which made me feel comfortable and get trained faster. Special mentions to the guides are they were really friendly and polite. 10/10 for their service. I would definitely recommend!!
Tiffany Curtiss
Tiffany Curtiss: LOVED IT! Tour guides, Alex & John, were fun and informative! They were patient in making sure All riders were comfortable on their Segway and were very attentive during the tour for any mishaps.MUST DO!
Jenica Anderson
Jenica Anderson: We had such a blast on this tour! The earpieces really kept us on the Segway riding more than stopping and talking. Great pace and our tour guide was informative and funny! 10/10 would recommend. So worth it and fun.
Rebekah Diaz
Rebekah Diaz: Really enjoyed this tour! We went on several tours while in DC, but this one was the best! Roury and Elijah were our tour guides and they were absolutely hilarious. They provided earbuds for us to be able to hear them while they were talking and moving. We saw a lot of the monuments and traveled quite the distance to see a lot in DC. We arrived after our “arrive 30 minutes early time” because we did not see that on our confirmation. Oops. They were still accommodating to us & caught us up quick. We had already been on segways so the learning curve was easier. Great way to see DC! Thanks guys.
Sam for Short
Sam for Short: So much fun!!!! Best way to see DC. Erica was great- very knowledgeable. They also gave us the tutorials and made us comfortable on the Segways before our departure. Best tour of DC I’ve ever been on
johanna santiago
johanna santiago: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueHad so much fun and instructors take their time to teach you how to ride. I thought it would be electric and I had to do nothing but steer and stand, lol. However, after a couple minutes you get the hang of it. Great experience, lots of fun and great opportunities for great photos! Will do each time I visit DC!
Rita Jensen
Rita Jensen: This was our 2nd group visit to Capital Segway Tour. Our guide Justin was AMAZING. We were treated like family. We were able to design the your to our needs. The unseasonably cold evening tour was nonetheless enjoyable. Thanks again Justin!
Dave Doering
Dave Doering: We were in town for lax tournament and needed something to do with boys one afternoon when one of the parents thought of a Segway tour of the monuments downtown... it was AWESOME! From the reservation process (better than others we had called) to our tour guide Ryan, who was very patient with the antics of teenage boys (and their parents). Highly recommend and would do it again if given the opportunity.

Unlimited Biking: what do users think?
Margaret Iannone
Margaret Iannone: We took a family trip to DC in hopes to pack in all we could over Memorial Day weekend. Unlimited Biking was highly recommended and our amazing guide, Joe, did not disappoint. He tailored the tour to what our group was looking for - learning about the monuments, but having fun while doing it. Joe was super knowledgeable and kept us moving - he was the perfect fit for our group! If you are visiting DC, I highly recommend this bike tour - seeing the monuments, especially at night, was incredible. Ask for Joe - he’s the best!
Rebecca Michaele Lynch
Rebecca Michaele Lynch: I highly highly recommend this experience! I only had a day to take in DC and this was so perfect. I kept saying to myself I couldn’t believe it was only $54 for what I was getting. I wish I packed a snack (banana or nuts) and was happy I brought a small backpack to carry extra water and my wallet (the pouch can really only fit a phone and keys). Those were my two biggest takeaways. I also recommend making sure small children can take direction quickly and can be ready to handle street intersections. I’d absolutely do this again and am so grateful I found it! All staff were so nice and accommodating.
Maggie Blackwood
Maggie Blackwood: This was the best part of our trip to DC by far!! We did the night tour as a family of 5. Our tour guide James was super friendly, accommodating and phenomenal at providing a great overview of the history with interesting tid bits for adults and kids alike. It was a great way to see the National Mall in the daylight through to everything lit up! We would highly recommend to others.
Stephanie Olebara
Stephanie Olebara: I did the 9 am cherry blossom tour and it was great! Our tour guide Judy was very knowledgeable about the city and was also very friendly. She always made sure the group was together and safe as well. Even as a DMV native, I learned and saw a lot of new things in the city thanks to Judy! It wasn’t too crowded in the city and the weather was beautiful. The tour was thorough and punctual as well. Definitely recommend this experience!
Michele Perrell
Michele Perrell: This was our first excursion when we arrived in DC. We are so happy that we chose this first. It ended up being the highlight of our trip. John was an excellent tour guide. He is really knows his city’s history. He got us up close to many memorials and monuments. We learned so much about each site! Doing this left our other days for museums and such. Highly recommend you do this if it is your first visit to DC.
Heidi Collins
Heidi Collins: Great experience. Saw a lot around the Mall in a short amount of time and enjoyed the Segway challenge! Make sure you wear good shoes for standing. Bill, our tour guide was excellent at giving fun details and pointing out interesting buildings on Pennsylvania Ave. Did not get close up of Jefferson or FDR memorial.
Alex Nee
Alex Nee: Beth did an excellent job with our tour of 12, including 5 children. She was patient and clear about stop times, informative with destinations and gave nice local recommendations. We had a great time riding around and seeing the sites.
Dena Hayes
Dena Hayes: This was a great tour! We picked the 2 hour cherry blossom tour. I wanted to make sure my 11 year old could keep up, plus I definitely wanted to see the cherry blossoms. We got checked in quickly and on our way. Alex was our guide, and she was amazing! So friendly, accommodating, and lots of knowledge. My son asked when we come back to do the tour again, and have Alex as our guide! Highly recommend
Nichole James
Nichole James: We did the Segway tour with Joe and it was a great experience. He was very knowledgeable and fun. He made sure everyone was safe on the segways! We saw many different monuments and all around the mall area. We went back and visited the suggested museums. Very glad we did this tour.

Jacquelyn Disharoon
Jacquelyn Disharoon: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueWe had an AWESOME experienceHOPE was our guide and she was WICKED SMAAAAHRT!!!!
Rita Priest
Rita Priest: Don’t use them. I booked a day in advance. Received a text to call. When I called them they said it would would be intermittently raining and perhaps we should reschedule. We were only in DC for 1 day so that was not an option so we decided we would touch base in the morning. I woke up at 6 and it was pouring so I called a new left a message to cancel. I called again at 930 and spoke with Anna who refused to honor what was discussed the prior day. Not only was she completely rude and spoke over me the entire time, more importantly she refused to honor the cancellation as discussed the prior day. There are so many bike tours in DC do yourself a favor and utilize a company that honors your conversation and doesn’t charge you $80 to bike in torrential downpour. See screenshot for current weather conditions.

CitySights DC: what do users think?
Laurel Crespo
Laurel Crespo: I was super excited to go to DC. All the history and sights. Between the awful traffic and the horrible parking. Now I wish I had just gone on an awesome cruise for the amount of money I spent in DC. I can check DV off the bucket list- but wouldn’t go back
Sherri Miller
Sherri Miller: DO NOT USE this bus tour!!! The worst every....completely ruined our day. My friend and I took this tour bus on 1 Aug. We were informed this was a guided tour with a hop on hop off option. We selected the red and blue/purple line. We picked it up at Union Station DC. Our trip to the White House was as advertised. A knowledgeable tour guide provided a fun cometary to the sites we were seeing. We got off at a stop near the White House and returned approximately 20 min later. We were told the buses ran every 15 to 20 min. We stood....in the hot sun....for a half and hour. Finally a bus arrived. However it was only for the yellow line. We waited another 15 -20 minutes and two buses finally arrived. However they were both for the yellow line. There were a number of us waiting and we spoke to one of drivers to inform him we had been waiting on a red line bus for over 45 minutes. After approximately 10 minutes the driver we had complained to showed up with a bus for the red line. I was a little confused how he had switched bus and returned so quickly....however we were relieved to be getting on a bus to continue our day. However the bus we no longer had a tour guide and the plug in headphone option was not working either. We got off at the Lincoln Memorial to catch the blue/purple line to Arlington. We waited again for well over the 15 to 20 minutes for a bus to show. When one did it to did not include a guided tour of any kind. We were taken to Arlington and told buses were running approximately every 30 minutes. After visiting Arlington we waited for approximately 30 minutes and saw no bus. We lost faith one would show we decided to walk back across the bridge to the Lincoln Memorial. No, I am not kidding. As we walked....in the heat and sun.....we never saw a CitySights bus. At the Lincoln Memorial we were able to catch a bus to return us to Union Station. Again, this bus had no guided tour. We filed a formal complaint at the number on the map and also at the stand were we brought our tickets. We wanted a refund. Instead they opened a "file" to determine if we could get a refund, which we have not yet received. We were also ordered a free ticket to ride the next day. After telling them what a horrible day we had on their bus the best they would offer was to do it again....are you kidding me. I will never take this bus tour again and it is no my mission to save others from taking it too. My friend and I were grateful for one thing. We were grateful we did not have our kids with us. We felt so sorry for those we shared our rides with that had children who were not only disappointed about no guided tour and the broken headphone jacks but were exposed to ridiculous long waits in the sun and heat. It is also important to note that during our many wait times we saw (with jealousy) other tour buses stop a number of times. In fact Old Town Trolly was everywhere and better yet they are covered transportation. PLEASE DO NOT use CitySights DC....this bus tour needs to be shut down!!
Response: Your feedback is important and helpful. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize that the tours did not meet your expectations. Once again the information you provided about our tours has been sent to our management as feedback for improvement. Feel free to contact us directly to discuss your concern.
Rick White
Rick White: Waited more than an hour at one of their "hop on" stops. No bus. Others had been waiting more than 1.5 hours. No bus in either direction as this is where two routes meet. Phoning them was a dead end. Never an answer if the call even connected which it did not several times. Even if a bus would show, it would take all day to get back to Union Station. There was a bike race Sunday which had just about all of DC blocked off so the bus could not go anywhere but circles. The bus management had no clue where to go and the race was scheduled for months. While they gave us credit for the day, we were still stuck with the parking fee at Union Station for nothing. If "no star" were a rating, they would get it. The employees were fine.
Kimberly Wilder
Kimberly Wilder: This was absolutely a horrible experience! Took my 11 Girl Scouts to DC. The bus was 55 min late every time while the other buses had several stopping at the drop off and pick up locations! When I called the office we were told 15 min which turned Into 55 min. The driver and another employee were yelling at each other in a fight! A lady tour guide was down right rude... Several bus drivers complain about the company. We missed the Archieves due to them being so late.. mind you we paid for a tour that they would not allow me to reset! Will never use them again! I gave 1 star because 0 was not a option!
