Old Town Trolley Tours Washington DC: what do users think?

Natalia Mednikov: This tour was amazing! The guide was full of knowledge. Don’t miss out. A 1,5 hour tour that goes by fast. We stopped off to see some very impressive and important monuments. I cannot say enough about the beautiful and well planned tour. It was a perfect experience. All the staff who work for this company are very friendly.

Quynh Tran: Mike G. (From Boston) was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He was very knowledgeable and knew everything. I he was like a human google of Washington DC (or history in general)! It was a little chilly but it was a great start to DC and knowing the general areas before the rest of your trip. Our guide was very accommodating and left no man behind. Highly recommend!

Laura Oliver: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueMoonlight trolley tour is fabulous! If you are short on time in DC and want to see a lot and hear a lot about the city, this is your best bet! We booked our school tour through Abe in group sales who made everything so easy! Hollywood was our tour guide and was awesome! Definitely the highlight of our visit!

Susie Anson: Hey **Mr. History" , best driver ever. So beautiful by night. And re-learning great American history while seeing gorgeous memorial at night ... Not to be missed Fall is the best to walk around and tour. 😉

Donna Hensley: I wish there were 5 more stars I could give Old Town Trolley! The personalized narration by knowledgeable, friendly drivers are always the rule.

USA Guided Tours: what do users think?

Rebekah Diaz: Did the night tour with Mr Map! It was great to stop at so many places and take photos. I do wish that the tour guide would have come off the bus to tell us about the different landmarks instead of staying on the bus. It was beautiful to see all the monuments lit up—different than the daytime sights. We chose the closed climate controlled instead of open top because it was rather cold at night (in late April!)! Would recommend.

Vanessa Losey: Thanks for making my dad bday that much more memorable! My dad a senior citizen and the pace was perfect for him, including all the bathroom breaks and patience. Thank you Terry for a tour to remember and for signing to my dad happy birthday!!! Memories to last a lifetime. His service dog loved it too!!!

Teresa Simmons: We took the DC tour on Sunday. Nick was our guide. The tour was a great way to see the sights and learn interesting facts. Nick loves his job and it shows! He was funny and informative! Highly recommend Nick and the 6 hour DC day tour. We had and amazing time!!

Suzanne: We took the dusk to dark, open top bus tour, and it was well worth it! The small group allowed for a much more personalized experience. It was obvious to us that our guide, Nick, truly enjoys his job, and that adds to the experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor, all of which added up to a very comfortable, enjoyable tour! He made it feel like we had a long time friend showing us the many sites. Definitely recommend this tour!

Bianca Moskaitis: Nick the @tourgod was one of the most amazing tour guides I’ve ever experienced! His knowledge and charisma made us feel so comfortable. He kept us laughing and on time! He was just a delightful and I’m so glad we got to experience him today! The Mercedes’ sprinter is a beautiful site to see while traveling down Constitution ave and Pennsylvania ave. Such a luxurious site to see🎉🎊 I’m so excited to take another tour with them in the spring! Here are come Loudoun VA wine country 🍷

Tricia Barr: We had a fabulous experience with Alicia as our tour guide and Thomas as our driver. We enjoyed a very informative 6-hour tour with Potomac River cruise. The best compliment was given by my ten year old daughter who is often reluctant to join historical and sight-seeing tours and would far prefer a spring break at a theme park. She said, “I learned so much about my country and I loved learning about all of the hidden meanings of the monuments.” As a parent, I was so happy that she loved the symbolism and significance of all that DC had to offer! Thank you to Alicia for your positive energy and sharing your extensive knowledge of our Nation’s capital!

Shari S: Nick and our driver were awesome. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I took borh the day and the night tour with this company. I highly recommend using this tour company. Parking can be a little difficult and further away then the tour can get you. I am so glad I signed up for these tours. I will make sure to let everyone I know going to any city they service to use them.

Joseph McIntyre: Originally scheduled the daytime tour with the riverboat cruise. Had to change due to flight delays and a mix up with rental cars. They were very accommodating and allowed us to switch the tour last minute to the night tour. Our tour guide, Nick was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Thanks so much for the memories!

Lisa Hayes: Great tour that I would highly recommend. Curtis was our driver and nick was our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and had plenty of time at all the stops. They had just taken down the fences at the capitol so we were able to go on the lawn. We did the night tour and they picked us up at our hotel which was perfect since I had just had some foot surgery and walking was difficult. Would recommend this tour to everyone and Great price.

Signature Tours Of DC: what do users think?

Lissa H: Tyrone and Hunter were great tour guides, very friendly and helpful. Tyrone was knowledgeable and interjected a lot of humor into the tour. We had plenty of time to get off the bus and take pictures of the different memorial sights. The water that was available when we got back on the bus was very welcome. I highly recommend taking this trip, it was enjoyable and we learned a lot. Very much worth the cost.

Debbie DelValle: First night in DC, decided to try a monuments tour under the stars. Signature Tours offered hotel pick up and drop off which was an added bonus. Thanks to the very knowledgeable and personable Sally and our excellent driver Chris, the 3 hour tour was time very well spent. I would highly recommend this tour.

Andrew Harmon (Werd69): This tour was on point. We met the bus at 800 Pennsylvania Ave NW no problem. We were loaded on a big tour bus. Our tour guide name was Charles. He was fantastic. He knew so much, I thought he was a retired teacher. We got to see quite a few monuments. When they say 3 hours they mean 3 hours. We got our monies worth and then some. Definitely do this tour if possible.

Emily Ferguson: We did the DC Under the Stars and it was incredible. Sally, our guide, was funny and engaging, and included such interesting info about DC and had a clear speaking voice. Chris, our driver, was also great. Would highly recommend this tour-and during the Spring, everything is simply stunning! Perfect combination of photo ops, history, humor, as well as moments to reflect and remember some of our nation’s most sobering events. The only downside to the tour was that the man loading us onto the bus was terribly rude and gruff for some reason. Also, there is no hotel pickup so plan to get transportation to the National Archives and make sure to arrive early.

Melissa Coulter: Absolutely the BEST DC tour! Fun and so knowledgeable! The kind of tour that you always hope you book! I highly recommend MR.MAP!

Melanie Williamson: My grandson and I had a wonderful tour of DC from Signature Tours. The guide, Dave, pointed out almost every downtown building, history and fun facts. Arriving at the momuments via the bus was perfect! Chris, the driver, safely took us from one location to another. Our 6-hour tour allowed us to see and experience much more than we could have if we had walked.

jen zappulla: I did the all day tour and Vernon and Chris were amazing! Vernon was so knowledgeable about the monuments and had side stories that added to the richness of what we were seeing. Chris maneuvered that bus like a boss, finding alternate routes due to closures and construction. I would highly recommend!!

City Segway Tours: what do users think?

Anup Rao: The staffs were friendly and our guide Rob was amazing and took care of us.Safety first and we had a great segway tour around the beautiful monuments of DC.

Cindy Harper: The tour was a blast. We did the 6PM sunset tour and I have to say this was the highlight of our trip to DC. Anna was our guide and she was super knowledgeable and funny! Yes, she definitely made the tour a 5 star! We will go with City Segway Tours next time in DC or any city we visit that they are located.

Chris VanBelle: What a fun and informational tour. I would have loved to dine a larger tour and learned more. Wear comfy shoes, and be ready to go if it rains. It was an awesome tour!!

Imran Khanji: Did the segwey tour a few years ago and now the bike tour. Highly recommend bike tour with Tom. Bike tour allows you to go to more places and get off in more places because segweys have more restrictions. Also, highly recommend doing the tour at night.

J. S.: It was our first time riding on segways. Our guide was very good in teaching us how to safely ride them. She also was very fun to communicate with. Overall the tour was very informative and interesting. In three hours we were able to see a lot of historical buildings and monuments

Kyle Hayes: So much fun will do again great guide he was very knowledgeable and funny

Emily Thompson: This was an absolutely fantastic experience! Could not recommend it enough. Not only was it a great way to see a large portion of the sites, far faster than walking it all, our guide was wonderful and his commentary gave interesting context and added backstory to the sites we saw. We did the night tour and it was perfect -- cooler temperatures in the evening, sunset and later, the nightime uplighting on the memorials, was amazing! We had plenty of time at each memorial to explore and take pictures. Overall we had blast on the Segways (it was our first time riding them, but it was so easy and so fun!) We will definitely be looking to do Segway tours in other cities we visit!

Sharon DeMyer Nemser: The tour was fantastic. Everything we had hoped for. Some riding, some walking. Lots of photo ops. Dillon was a 5 star guide. Friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. He made the day for us. Felt safe, felt informed but most of all had a memorable day thanks to Dillon and The Washington DC Tour. All COVID protocol followed at all times.

Charles Eugene: That’s a very very nice place to visit.

Candice Benoit-Peck: Dillon was a awesome guy. Best tour to go on very informative and sweet.

Yvonne Gilliam: Anybody that have time go visit Washington DC lovely

Capital Segway Tours: what do users think?

Josiah Dahlstrom: These guys were awesome. Great training in the Segways and the tour was awesome. I’ve been to DC 4 different times but haven’t done a tour. This was the way to do it. Knowledgeable tour guides. Lots to see and great spots to snap pics. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. And Erica was out tour guide. She was fabulous!

Sachin Sujir: One of the best tours I have ever been on. Thanks to the staffs and tour guide at Capital Segway tours for making my trip memorable and fun. Kind and great staffs and tour guides. They were patient during the training and the tour which made me feel comfortable and get trained faster. Special mentions to the guides are they were really friendly and polite. 10/10 for their service. I would definitely recommend!!

Tiffany Curtiss: LOVED IT! Tour guides, Alex & John, were fun and informative! They were patient in making sure All riders were comfortable on their Segway and were very attentive during the tour for any mishaps.MUST DO!

Jenica Anderson: We had such a blast on this tour! The earpieces really kept us on the Segway riding more than stopping and talking. Great pace and our tour guide was informative and funny! 10/10 would recommend. So worth it and fun.

Rebekah Diaz: Really enjoyed this tour! We went on several tours while in DC, but this one was the best! Roury and Elijah were our tour guides and they were absolutely hilarious. They provided earbuds for us to be able to hear them while they were talking and moving. We saw a lot of the monuments and traveled quite the distance to see a lot in DC. We arrived after our “arrive 30 minutes early time” because we did not see that on our confirmation. Oops. They were still accommodating to us & caught us up quick. We had already been on segways so the learning curve was easier. Great way to see DC! Thanks guys.

Sam for Short: So much fun!!!! Best way to see DC. Erica was great- very knowledgeable. They also gave us the tutorials and made us comfortable on the Segways before our departure. Best tour of DC I’ve ever been on

johanna santiago: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueHad so much fun and instructors take their time to teach you how to ride. I thought it would be electric and I had to do nothing but steer and stand, lol. However, after a couple minutes you get the hang of it. Great experience, lots of fun and great opportunities for great photos! Will do each time I visit DC!

Rita Jensen: This was our 2nd group visit to Capital Segway Tour. Our guide Justin was AMAZING. We were treated like family. We were able to design the your to our needs. The unseasonably cold evening tour was nonetheless enjoyable. Thanks again Justin!

Dave Doering: We were in town for lax tournament and needed something to do with boys one afternoon when one of the parents thought of a Segway tour of the monuments downtown... it was AWESOME! From the reservation process (better than others we had called) to our tour guide Ryan, who was very patient with the antics of teenage boys (and their parents). Highly recommend and would do it again if given the opportunity.

See DC Today: what do users think?

branmorris21: Best way to start our DC vacation. Kareem navigated the streets with ease. And Steve was very informative on everything we were touring. They both were easy to talk to and answered all our questions without a boring explanation. The night was clear and not too busy for the beginning of the holiday weekend. Highly recommend this small group night tour. The price is worth it. Loved it. Thanks guys.

Stephanie Matthews: Booked the night tour for the first evening we were in Washington DC. We arrived at meeting place to be greeted by our driver as well as the tour guide. What a wonderful informative experience for my party of three. We appreciated the small group individuality. The driver Kareem as well as tour guide Andrew Evans took the time to answer all questions for my nine year one grandson. They were very cautious when driving, provided water, device charging, and gave so much info at each stop. They allowed plenty of time to explore and even took photos of guest in front of the sites. The tour lasted over 3 hours. The tour guide would walk around with each small group etc., while the driver waited close by ready for pick up. Very impressed with details provided including personal stories and his love for his job and each monument. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a tour of DC.

Andyrea Mahon: Cassie and Kareem were absolutely the best guide/driver we could have asked for! So knowledgeable about all the monuments. Cassie relayed information in an exciting and engaging way. I wish she could narrate all of our time in DC! They had cold water for us throughout. Kareem even went and got more ice cold water for our group when we ran low. We learned so much and didn’t want it to end. I would 100% recommend See DC tours!

Chaz Arnold: My wife and I cannot say enough good things about this tour. First of all, the small group size provides an engaging, intimate experience that is much unlike many of the other tours we witnessed during our excursion. The driver, Kareem, was knowledgeable about the city and one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. Our guide, Kassie, was spectacular; she communicated a lot of information about the sights. On several occasions, she answered questions we had about the monuments as if she were reading our minds. Very entertaining. Seeing DC monuments lit up at night is an experience unlike any other. The travel van was comfortable and the provided water were much appreciated. Finally, we appreciated the dinner recommendation made by our guide following the tour. This experience was well worth the time and money.

Heidi McQuade: Ron and Edrick were fantastic! There is no way we would have seen as much as we did in the little time we were here, and we are very appreciative of their knowledge. I would highly recommend See DC Today to anyone sightseeing, especially for first timers. Note: there is still quite a bit of walking and being on your feet because you leave the van at every stop.

Shari N: Great tour! The small group format made for a fun, personal experience. Steve was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide and Edrick got us around town safely with a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour.

J D: The hop on hop off night tour was amazing! Dustin was knowledgeable and was funny too! No way we would have seen all these sights on our own. Would highly recommend!

John Maty: Though the longest day of year; party of 6 totally enjoyed tour. Picked this company based on STOPs at best Monuments vs others that do driveby. Prompt pickup. Our driver Dustin had a wealth of information not only of the various Monuments but other Washingtonian tidbits.

Ki Anna: The Best tour out there. Larry was an awesome driver as he navigated thru DC .. and Steve was the most knowledgeable and professional tour guide ever! Will definitely do again.

Nick Myers: Amazing tour for anyone who wants a personal and fun look at the monuments of DC. Our driver Steve was professional all around and got us across the city safely, and our guide, Kory, was really fun and obviously passionate about the area’s history. I was not looking for a deeply sanitized tour with guides who sound like they’re reading off of plaques at the monuments, and fortunately that’s not what I got. I recommend this bus tour for those who like to ask deeper questions about the Capitol’s history and get immediate answers, those who want something beyond the typical tourist experience, and those who want to be truly guided through DC and its intricacies rather than simply taken to photo-ops. Excellent experience all around!

C.B. Ballew: Loved the Night Tour! Pick a day when the weather is in the low 70’s - it was perfect! The driver was really nice and helpful. The route the bus takes is organized so that you see a Georgetown and buildings that you need to see in the light before the sun goes down. Then you travel to the Lincoln Memorial and the Reflecting Pool as night falls. Perfect!! Take this tour - no downsides at all.

Ashley Beth: Fabulous tour and a really fun and informative way to see the DC area! The signage and pickup locations were clearly marked so we knew right where to go (to get on the bus and at any of the drop-off points as well). They had headphones for our family of five and the info on the narration was interesting, relevant, and entertaining. The bus departed on time and returned on time. Ms. Gale was an outstanding tour guide and she knew all the fun, quirky tidbits of information that made our night tour of the DC area extra special. Highly recommend!

Holli Allen Magill: What a fabulous experience. These friendly and very accommodating people really go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience. Frederick was so kind and helpful.. Our bus driver even dropped us right at our hotel! Thanks for a great time, definitely recommend this tour.

Jamie Lowe: We had a 2 day pass and evening tour. All experiences were great! Highly recommend evening tour. A beautiful glimpse of the city and all its landmarks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gregory at Spy Museum stop was super friendly and entertaining. A shout out to Romero who remembered my grandson at every stop he saw us…both days! Romero made him feel like he had a friend in an unfamiliar place. Great experience for us!

Miranda: I bought the Groupon that included hop on and hop off for 48 hours and a night ride tour! Worth every penny! Easy to use. You go to one of the stops to have them print your tickets and then you can start riding. Download the app because you can see where the buses are in real time. We waited on more than 20 minutes at a stop for another bus to arrive. The bus wasn’t crowded at all. They supply headphones to listen to a recording about the monuments as the bus passes them. The night tour was awesome!! Easiest way to see the parts outside of Washington DC such as the pentagon, Georgetown, downtown Arlington. Be sure to tip your driver!! 💵

Greg Burkett: Vida was a great tour guide on our bus. She took family photos of us and gave us tips when asked of DC food and sites.

Mona: Informative tour in an air conditioned bus. We saw many places, but wish we had a little more time to explore the places we did stop at…was really touch and go type of experience but you do see a lot of buildings and the tour guy is definitely knowledgeable about DC.

YaYa Wilson: The Best Tour Ever... should you visit Washington, DC please schedule, very informative from a relaxed, people person type of tour guide... some could only wish to be as cool, calm, and collective in a world of today... just chill, schedule your tour and relax

Stephanie Brake: 5 stars for Paul making it the most fun I have ever had on a tour.

Sarah T: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueVery informative, friendly tour guide! Dr Zohery is knowledgeable when it comes to the history of DC, the monuments, and landmarks. The tour bus was easy to find at the Hyatt hotel, clean, and comfortable. We will be touring with Dr Zohery when we come to DC again. 5 stars easily.

Steven Mortensen: I was looking for a stress free way to get around the Washington DC mall area without having to do a lot of walking. Zohery Tours has a very comfortable, air conditioned van. The driver was very knowledgeable regarding the areas monuments and history. The van was stopped for enough time to get out, stretch our legs, and take a few photos. It worked out perfectly for our needs.

Delaney Gellert: Such a cool way to explore all around DC and lets you see a lot in 1-2 hours. Getting on was somewhat confusing and you might not be with your family altogether since there are not assigned spots. The audio is okay but gives you a lot of information for when you are near tourist spots. There was only one hop off spot at the Lincoln Memorial but it is not for long so its more to stretch your legs and see the bottom of the monument. I recommend going more at night time because it nice to see the sunset on DC and was a lot cooler for when you are going in the summer time :)

Kayla Kirkpatrick: Ms. Gale was a great driver and made sure we all had a safe and enjoyable trip! My parents and I loved our trip and would definitely recommend big bus if you want a scenic route around the city!

nailah morris: Love the concept of the tour! Make sure you plan accordingly so you can see all the major sights! Also listening to the headphones are a great idea they give you a lot of information! John Dickey was such a sweet fantastic driver! Overall a great experience!

Ganeshan Venkatesha: Contrary to my belief, I had best experience while making a trip between Vienna Metro and New York on 18th and 21st. I travelled in Bus for the first time in 30 years in the US. First it was very well organized. It was punctual. Inspite of many road constructional delays, the bus driver tried to maintain punctuality. I was very impressed with the driver whose name I do not know. . He is tall black very well built. He was so disciplined and professional. He never indulged in talking nor did he waste time in stops. He just stopped for 12 minutes for a single short break. Never applied breaks suddenly. The drive was so smooth at consistent speed. All in all I would prefer bus ride instead of a driving in car. The only inconvenience was that I could not reserve seats even 15 days earlier. First come first served appears good but hurts those who plan early. Hope the bus reserves at least 25% of seats for advance reservation. That would be a very good thing. Ganeshan Centreville VA

Pippela Pam: We purchased the deluxe ticket + night tour which was well worth the price. The narrators all had different levels of knowledge about DC which made for interesting rides, even if we had been by the same place. All the staff from drivers to ticket sellers were awesome! For the ticket price you can get on and off for 2 days which was a great way to get around the city. We went on the boat, Madame Tussands and the night tour which was gorgeous and loved that we all were able to use the upper deck to see the sites. We highly recommend using Big Bus tours and will definitely use again when available at other cities or when we are in DC again.

Gray Line: what do users think?

Wendy Mahon: I took several tours with Gray Line around D.C., and also to the Presidents homes. The tours were very good. The bus drivers were very good about explaining the history about what we were going to be seeing. Also they were good about giving us clear cut directions of what to do, and where to meet up after the tours. Customer service was really good about telling us where to wait for the buses after checking in.

Kelly Siler: Our family of 6 took the DC after dark tour then the following day we took the day tour. We all loved them both! Beverly and Kenny were both great helping us at the desk and Herbert B and Bob were excellent drivers. We enjoyed seeing the sights in this stress-free way.

Maggie Jean: Taking the nighttime tour of Washington dc was a wonderful experience. Our guide/driver was terrific, and staff was great.

J J: We went on the night tour with our 3 kids ages 9, 7, & 3. Advice!!!! if you go on the night tour: Pack snacks!! There are no places open to grap food and the tour was much longer than the 3 hours the website says. Also dress warm!!!!!!! Really warm, we were on a double decker bus with an open top, We had NO idea we would be on an open top bus for a night tour! & we were given no warning. It gets cold even on a 78* day come night time, on top of a bus wind blowing, it gets cold and there are not enough seats in the bottom part for people to move to if they are too cold. 2 jackets, gloves, pants, hat, face masks, and blankets would have made our tour 100% better. They picked up us from the cherry hill RV park where we were staying and brought us back at the end of the tour. That was nice. All the stops were great! enough time to take pictures and get back on, also the night tours are way less crowded, we were able to get close and see everything, the people next to us said they did the day tour and just waited in line and never got to see up close because there was too many people. So that was great. We had a good bus driver and other than being freezing cold it was fun! My husband and kid went up top and my other 2 kids and myself sat in the bottom of the bus so we could switch as the kids got too cold and we were able to keep our bottom seats saved that way.

KB Tours: what do users think?

Alana Brooks: Mr. Kenny is a great tour guide. He tells you the history of the area, and weaves in the Black history of everything he shows you. We went on the tour while there was major road closures for an event, and Mr. Kenny still got us where we needed to go. This tour is unique because you go through historically Black neighborhoods that most tours don’t take you to. I definitely recommend supporting this Black owned business.

Nitza Negron: Great tour! You get picked up in a very nice Mercedes Van with AC, Kenny takes you around, gives you history and also let’s you get out at a few places to take pics like Lincoln and MLK Memorial. We ended the tour with tickets to the African American Museum which was amazing!

Susan Marshall: Absolutely the best! Mr. Kenny was very professional and knowledgeable! I would do this tour again! I recommend anyone visiting DC to check out KB TOURS!

Nancy Nyberg: What a blast! Wanted to see the National Museum of African American History and Culture and no tickets for our time in DC. KB tours offers a wonderful tour of DC, by coach, that starts at the Naval Museum and ends at the AA History Museum. Also includes stops at the Lincoln Memorial, MLK memorial, Fredrick Douglass’ house (“...has done an amazing job...”), Civil War memorial. Kenny, the owner and guide, is very knowledgeable, funny and insightful. A life-long resident of DC, he knows and loves his city and his country. Definitely recommend seeing DC Kenny’s way.

Monica Williams: KB Tours is the best. They are passionate about the history of Washington, D.C. and know hidden facts about the monuments that you will not know visiting on your own. Jamal was our tour guide and he provided excellent service. Mr. Kenny Burns thank you!

Jandie's Channel: My family hired KBTours for our family reunion. I have lived in the Washington D.C. area for 15 years but KBTours showed us and taught us about some many historical locations that I had never even heard of and certainly had never been to. Kenny has an encyclopedia in his head when it comes to Washington D.C. and the rich history that is here. When I had to add a lot more family members to my tour with short notice, Kenny graciously and very quickly procured an addition tour bus for us at a very reasonable price. A lot of my family said that the tour was one of the best parts of our family reunion that year. I would not hesitate to hire KBTours again. All of the drivers and tour guides were excellent!!

Eve Byford-Peterson: The Carson, Lewis Rousseau Family reunion utilized KB Tours on June 22nd and were extremely pleased with our tour. Ms. Sandra, our tour guide, was the greatest and so knowledgeable. We found the whole trip to be an uplifting, educational and enjoyable experience. Recommend it highly.

Manuel Girisch: Great evening/night tour. See the Pentagon, the Iwo Jima Memorial, White House, Capitol, Georgetown and many more. There is a 20 Minutes Stop at the Lincoln Memorial. 44 Dollar per person for a 2 hours ride with headphone kommentary.

D'LiteFull Harmon: This was great for us! If you have time I recommend the two day pass, that way you can do the entire tour without getting off the bus, then use the remainder of day one and all of day two visiting individual stops.

DC by Foot: what do users think?

Sindys Tavarez: My boyfriend and I took two tours in DC, and Colin’s one (Georgetown) was our favorite. He was very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. It was a mix of architecture and history which was perfect for us, because I’m into architecture/arts and my boyfriend is into history/politics. We loved it.

Joseph Neidenbach: My wife and I took the Georgetown by Foot Tour led by Rebecca. Rebecca did a great job. She was knowledgeable, energetic, friendly and a great representative of our nations capital. I highly recommend this tour. The two hour walk was comfortable. We will take one of these tours the next time we are in DC.

David Matsu: When my wife and I visit new cities we like to take the local "Free Walking Tours." We took the National Mall/Tidal Basin tour with Rebecca and were not disappointed. She took us on a three hour walk, in the rain, and told us all about the history of the monuments. She was well informed, able to answers all questions and taught us a lot. I encourage travelers to take advantage and support the "free tours" especially with a guide like Rebecca.

Lani Slonim: This tour is well planned and well timed and was given by a guide who was personable and knew her history. Ingeborg had fun antidotes and stories that enhanced the understanding of the area in an enjoyable way. Thank you for your efforts!

Jenay Rouimi: We did two great Name Your Price Tours while in Washington - 2 adults and (1) 9 year old. We started with the Arlington Cemetery Tour with Colin and it was excellent. This tour does involve a lot of walking but I highly recommend it. While Arlington does have the trams, I think this tour provides a much more up close (and far less crowded) viewing. Colin was extremely knowledgeable, and he kept us all entertained and informed. We also did the Name Your Price Tour of the Monuments by Moonlight with Emilia. It was an unseasonably cold March night, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The monuments were far less crowded then we expected, and the night time view is spectacular and far different from day time. I highly recommend experiencing both ways. Emilia had so much interesting information on the monuments that I have never heard before and I feel much more well rounded and “in the know”.

Elaine Limanek: My friend and I went to the Ghosts of Georgetown tour and we have nothing but good things to say! Our tour guide, Melissa, was charismatic and led us on a thrilling adventure through the streets of Georgetown, where we learned about the history and haunts of the most charming corner of DC. We truly loved every minute and will certainly be back again!

White House Visitor Center: what do users think?

Ryan Barley: Very cool place and I wish it was advertised better. Once you find it it is a great museum, full of information about the beginnings of the White house. Also it tells of the evolution the building went throw over time. Cool artifacts that show the people who interacted with America, old house hold items that were used to entertain guests and old furniture the past presidents sat on. Pretty quick museum over all in comparison to all the other museums at the National Mall.

Danny Brown: I really enjoyed the tour but the only thing that disappointed me was that the tour was not long enough. It is more or less a self-guided tour but there are a Secret Service agent in each room to answer any questions you may have. Wished we could see more but we knew that was not possible because of security concerns. We would recommend this tour.

Axel Müller: Nice visitor center with much information about the White House (presentation boards, information boards, cinema show and so on).A gift shop is also on site where you can buy a lot of souvenirs and other things. At the entrance you have to pass a security check.

Chuck: Security folks friendly but professional. Tours are self guided. Facility is amazing... as one would expect of the home of our head of state. Amazing amount of history, but you have to bring your own resources, as the secret service agents, with one amazing exception, volunteered no information.

Carlos Aguiluz: Great place to learn about the history of the White House. Really enjoyed the amount of artifacts that this center had, not too overwhelming if you have small kids.
