RASA: what do users think?

sahil sardana: 1. Good tasting indian food with modern twist 2. A little expensive especially when it is a self service joint 3. Non vegetarian food is good with good options 4. 4/5 because there is only 1 veg option that too vegan. No paneer. 5. Must visit if looking for good and quick food.

Arsha Kardani: Chipotle style Indian restaurant. Food was very good and I loved the concept. I ordered the chef curated dish, tikka chance on me. You can also create your own with your own choices. Homemade juices were good too. I would really recommend this place.

Jane L: Great fast casual option with several locations in the area. Set up is like Chipotle except with Indian flavors! They also have super cute decor and indoor and outdoor seating.

Your Helpful Wendy: I love Indian food so much! That’s why I end up in this place and it was perfect because they do takeout. I order one of the bowls in the menu that it was already there but you can create your own with all the different options they have. Mine had rice chicken and all the colors and spices and flavors that I always love about Indian food. The price was great!! The service was extremely good, the lady was so nice and helpful. The only thing I would suggest this place will be to change the bags because they gave me the food in a bag and I walked my way back home, my food spilled all over the bag because it’s not a big enough for the size of the containers, so it’s squishes the food and that’s how it opened and the food was all over, the good thing is that I was able to eat it at home. I had to throw the bag and I had to put my clothes to the washing machine right away because everything was dirty but at least I had my meal later that day.

All-Purpose Shaw: what do users think?

Saritha Athmakur: Aaah! This place was a mood! We went during the happy hour. Great food, great place. Both the “Standard “ pizza and the mushroom onion pizza was so yum. The best part is the crust. And for apps we ordered the cauliflower. I don’t want to eat cauliflower in any other way now 😂

Philip Gordon: All Purpose has some of the best pizza I have ever had. Ingredients are fresh and authentic. Portions are just the right size. The personal pizzas are 12" pies but turn out closer to 14". The crusts are just right and thin on the bottom. The menu offers plenty of different options. Most guests seem to just order to go. If you are dining in there is a 20% gratuity automatically included with your order just so you are aware. Pizzas can be eaten in one sitting if you are extra hungry. You can also take pieces home. The pies reheat well.

Wade McManus: We had dinner here a month back while visiting dc and found ourselves talking about it again last night while experiencing bad service somewhere else in our hometown. I cannot recommend enough coming to A.P. and sitting at the bar to order food. Our bartender, Alex, was a clear fan favorite as everyone enjoyed his service - he had excellent suggestions, always topped off a drink before we even noticed it half full, and was the number one best thing about our dinner experience. The pizza, drinks, and tiramisu were great, don’t get me wrong, but we have since told all dc friends to visit this spot because of its superior service, and we’re still talking about it today. You just don’t get that kind of service everyday.

Mahdi Shirvin: There pizza was absolutely awesome.I will Eggplant dish made with skin off. 😕The waiters were nice and professional. The restaurant add 20% services fee to all checks.

Jimmy Matthews: Had a great experience here during restaurant week. Made reservations for Friday evening, the gentleman who took our reservation talked through seating options to maximize social distancing to ease my COVID anxiety. When we walked in, everyone’s vax cards were checked & the gentleman remembered us and we were seated early. Our waiter, Nick, was very attentive and patient as we asked questions about the food and beverage choices. He provided great dinner recommendations! Our party of 3 had Brussel sprouts, chicken parm arancini, and 3 different types of pizzas: delica-ssata, sedgewick, & tripper. All fabulous recommendations, tripper and sedgewick were our favorite. Pizzas cooked to perfection and delicious crust! Had the tiramisu for dessert and a few glasses of wine along the way. Stayed a while and enjoyed the lively atmosphere & service. Adding it to a favorite spot among so many good options in DC!

Bex Yukman: Fabulous experience from the moment I walked by at the end of a conference day. Prompt, attentive, and friendly staff asked immediately whether I wanted my water sparkling. When I ordered without any customizations, Jeb nonetheless verified I had no allergies. And no exaggeration - the pizza was the best of my life! Grateful.

Chris De Hoyos: Sunday brunch… we are not even done being here yet and this place is AAHHHMAZING! We had Baked Eggs ‘Toscana’, Buona Pizza and the Double Stuffed Fried Mozz to start.. let’s not even talk about the ‘Bottomless Mimosas’ which were never empty. Then top it all off the Roman ‘Maritozzi’ for a little piece of dessert heaven. We sat at the bar and the service was more than exceptional, great music in the background as well. If visiting like we are.. you must stop in! Hell if you live here you need to frequent!

Thais Pansani: Nice atmosphere. A little bit expensive (20 dollars a pizza), but the pizza is really good, worths the visit. The bread with garlic butter is amazing!

Food Enthusiast: Best pizza I have had in DC! The vibe inside the restaurant is also very nice and cozy! The food was ready very quickly and the waiter was very nice to us! Will definitely come back for pizza!

Shouk: what do users think?

Ryan Briggs: Super yummy. I stopped in for dinner, ordered the mushroom bowl over greens with hummus and falafel added; plus a cardamom chocolate chip cookie. The bowl was both tart and savory with the pickling and mushrooms. A good mixture. I was really glad that I added the falafel since this was for dinner, it made the dish feel filling and was nicely complimentary. The cookie was nice, moist and chocolaty, but I like a regular chewy chocolate chip cookie more. It was good for being vegan :) The service was good, the eating area was clean. I liked the Israeli music that was playing. No reason to not come back for more :)

Luke Chang: Restaurant layout was unique. Kiosks we’re simple to figure out. There were both indoor and outdoor seating options. 2 unisex bathrooms. Foods was delicious. Restaurant was clean. Bathroom was clean. Service and staffs were spot on. First time here, had a positive experience. Definitely recommend grabbing a bite here, especially if you’re looking for a non-meat option.

JT Mitchell: Too many great options but I settled on the Shouk Burger. The burger is meaty and has great flavor. Pickled veg adds a satisfying crunch. Pita is like a soft pillow. Hummus was so creamy it made me wanna cry. The cookie was the most average part of the meal and even so had a memorable cardamom flavor. Highly recommend.

Haleigh Eppler: I loved the plant based concept. It was a great place to take my vegan family. They also had numerous gluten free options available. I had a fried mushroom shawarma with a rice and lentil bowl. It was great. I loved the harissa Mayo on top.

Cortney Palm: Good food, fast service, cute location. Not great parking anywhere - street parking. The flavors can get annoying halfway through the meal. But otherwise it’s very good, creative and flavorful and feels healthy. I like the shouk sauce and the “chicken” made from mushrooms. The shouk burgers are good and the sweet potato fries are tasty. The cookies are pricey and I’d give the 🍪 a “B”. I love the eco friendly packaging.

Vanessa S.: Great place! We were looking for a lunch spot and I am so glad we stumbled over SHOUK. Pretty ambiance and very nice dining area. It was hard to choose a dish because everything on the menu sounds delicious. We decided to try the Mushroom shawarma, the dizengoff salad, spice fries and hummus. Everything was so good!! Hummus is amazing, great job. Highly recommend it

Timber Pizza Company: what do users think?

Mischa: This is a very cute little place that serves mainly Argentinian-style empanadas, pizza, coffee, beer, and more. On weekends they open from 8am to 1pm, then they reopen again at 5pm. Unfortunately (as of this writing at least), they only serve breakfast empanadas and no pizza during the first opening. So you have to come back after 5pm if you want pizza or pork empanadas. Another downside is that there are three empanadas in each order, and they all have to be the same kind, so you cannot get one squash empanada and one pork empanada. Other than that, all else was good!

Brie W.: Okay. Listen here. This place is WONDERFUL. I’ve never had a pizza this good. It’s really inexpensive for such high quality food and we have plans to bring family here when they visit from out of state. It’s interior is tiny but SOOO cute. We will be coming back to this place again. The sweet bar tender was very knowledgeable as well so don’t be afraid to ask questions. The whole staff seems to care about you and it feels really welcoming.

R N: Excellent pizza! The dough is amazing very fluffy and light. The outside seating was very rustic and the vibe as real! The staff was very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended!

Remo Molino: Awesome pizza and amazing salad. All fresh ingredients. Thin crust. Wood fired oven. Local spring mix salad with fresh radishes and peas. All healthy and amazing taste. Two picnic tables inside and two outside. Lots of take out. Order takeout online or call. Wine, beer and gelato dessert. Restaurant is super clean as is the unisex restroom. All employees are quiet and super efficient. They have a good system here.

Rice Restaurant: what do users think?

Monica R S: Their happy hour is great — both quality and price. The takoyaki and squid legs, were yummy we ordered a second plate!! Sushi was good too!!

Marjorie Dodson: Best Thai restaurant at this price point in DC. Best pad thai I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a LOT of pad thai) and the curries are incredible. Good portion sizes, very fresh and high quality ingredients, fast service. Plus the Asian market downstairs is great! I live nearby and often end up going multiple times per week.

Ryan McGorty: Rice serves up some classic Thai favorites in an urban chic space that emphasizes simplicity and warmth. Located in the 14th St corridor, Rice maintains the trendy, chic neighborhood vibe with its earth-toned interior and sleek, full-service bar. It can get pretty busy, so I’d recommend coming on the early-side to ensure you’re not sitting too close to any other loud patrons. The food is very good and they offer a nice array of options to pick from. They frequently have specials like a curry sampler. I’d recommend getting the Papaya salad with shrimp, Green curry with beef, and the Seafood basil. The presentation of food is tastefully done – simple and clean. The portion sizes are pretty good considering the prices. I strongly encourage you to look at the seasonal menu, so you can try some special foods. This is a great date night spot and wouldn’t be ideal for small children. There’s an outside patio with seating available for those nice weather days. They also have a small market at the entrance with lots of Thai cooking ware and trinkets.

Ray Wenderlich: Best Pad Thai I’ve had in 15 years! Great happy hour specials too - and tasty wine. Can’t wait to return.

Anthony Quaglieri: Excellent in every way. The food was fresh and the flavors were authentic. Top rate service. Visit the market downstairs. It’s an added treat.

Aminah Rehman: Best drunken noodles ever! And i love the vegetable soup too. I have visited a few times. It might be empty because of Covid but the food is on point!

Heleen Raes: I enjoyed my dinner here, the interior is cosy and the food very good. I had spring rolls and red curry and enjoyed both of my dishes. The one minus point was the temperature in the restaurant; I went on a hot day (about 85 degrees) and it was uncomfortably warm and stuffy in the restaurant.

Ted's Bulletin: what do users think?

Arash Tavakoli: I had one of my best dining experiences in this place. The breakfast is easily enough for two people. The staff are super welcoming. Try their tarts and that tastes like heaven. Been very happy with the pancakes and hey they bring you a whole container of coffee. I also really liked that when we ordered one breakfast for two, they put it in two different plates. Thoughtful! So enjoy!

Calvin Thumma: My wife and I went here after a recommendation from a co-worker of mine. The area we are from has a number very good bistro and brunch locations but this meal blew them out of the water. My French toast was by far the best I’ve ever had, the bacon was crisp, potatoes were perfect and the eggs yummy. My wife’s meal was equally delicious, she order eggs, potatoes, toast and sausage. Nicole was our server and made sure every was perfect and never left our drinks get close to empty

Paul LaVigne: Enjoyed the bakery treats we had the other day so much we came back for brunch. Be sure to call ahead for reservations as this is a very busy place with longer wait times. The food was excellent. I do recommend you come and enjoy this place when you’re in town

Jessica Zheng: Pretty good brunch location! For drinks, we just got a caramel iced coffee and a vanilla milkshake. Coffee was okay, didn’t really taste the caramel flavor at all. For our meals- I got the Big Mark Breakfast. The sausage was very tasty but the eggs and hash brown were pretty bland, I ended up using dipping them in ketchup. Boyfriend got the salmon toast, that was surprisingly tasty! I was just weirded about eating raw salmon as my first meal of the day but it caught me by surprise!

Tilak Kalaria: Absolutely spectacular dining experience at Tex’s Bulletin for brunch. Service was awesome in this spot with a great ambience and location in DC. The food was excellent too so much to choose from. Their avacado toast has such great attention to detail. The S’mores tart was special! To better enhance our awesome experience someone kind patron paid for my party of 5’s brunch!! Highly recommend Ted’s!!

Fiorella Hidalgo: Went to get the special cherry blossom dessert during the Cherry Blossom Festival! Smoked Salmon Benedict is one of the best I ever had before! (I like it better than Kramer’s!). It took a while to get seated on a Sunday morning, so try to make a reservation in advance!

Hannah: Okay. I’m excited to review this place as an avid brunch food lover. To begin: we were told that the wait time was 40mjn and given a buzzer. Great. No problem, totally understand. To be fair, we hadn’t made reservations that morning. We wait 50min. They then tell us to wait another 30 minutes. My pregnant and hungry friend got it changed to 20min. Still. Once inside, the vibes were great. Our server was fast and attentive. Huge food portions and cute decor. Definitely not worth the weird waiting times, but will definitely make reservations next time!

Jacob Grice: Breakfast was awesome!!! Staff was super nice, restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was uplifting and calming at the same time. Food was very good and filling , you must try the cheese cake!! Defiantly will be back again!!

Thip Khao Restaurant: what do users think?

Rebecca Peters: Thrilled to find this lovely spot. The Naem Khao stole the show - excellent textured & iconic flavors. Was disappointed in the Khao Soi, I’m sorry to say - lacked depth and flavor, though a twist of lime helped a bit. Would try a different main next time. Definitely nice to have vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The dessert (one option) was heavenly - a sweet rice base with a mango-coconut porridge, not too sugary but an excellent way to round out the meal. I’d definite go back, but try a different main course next time. Reservations are a good idea, though 2 people might be able to squeeze in depending on the night.

Toteona Gray: Really enjoyed my meal here! Since it was just me, I was easily able to get a table at the bar as soon as I came as a walk in. It is pretty busy it seems on Friday nights. However, the bartender was chill and attentive to serving me even though I didn’t buy liquor. The prices I believe were average. It was my first time having Loation (if that is how you would say it/sorry) and I would love to come back again some time. :D

Manjari Rudra: Amazing place to hang out!! Great food, great ambience, budget friendly. It’s a must try.

Jennifer Liang: Incredible food and service. The staff are quite kind and the ambience is lovely. The food is priced reasonably given their large portions. Highly recommend checking out their desserts! Would come again.

Priyanka Dangol: Definitely one of my favourite places in DC! A must go spot for vegetarians as everything was so so flavourful. We went there on a Thursday and it got busier towards the end of the night so I would suggest reserving before you go. We had the popular Naem Khao (highly deserving of all the hype it gets), the two tofu dishes on the menu (both which were amazing! I loved the dill tofu wrapped inside banana leaves) and the pumpkin for dessert! Just writing this review is making my mouth water

RPM Italian: what do users think?

Sandeep Wilkhu: Excellent experienceWe sat in the bar because we did not have reservations. But our waitress Addison was so very excellent she made it an excellent experience. I would go back to the bar seating.

Charli Knows How To Eat: A very good friend of mine treated me to this very fancy dining experience. It was so amazing. I would recommend this restaurant for special events or celebrations. It is quite expensive however the service is great and the food is even better. I convinced my date that I’d like my own steak however I did not know they give you such large portions which is a first to see in a upscale restaurant like this. Nonetheless it was so tender and evenly cooked I ate every single piece !

raymond burgos: The service and hospitality are on par with the best in the world with amiable and capable staff. The presentation and food are excellent. The decor is well-suited to a high-end establishment and will make you break into a smile as soon as you walk in. The portions are good, not more significant portions - this is a tasting restaurant. Quality over quantity!

Des KF: My boyfriend and I had reservations for this restaurant for my birthday. When we arrived we walked in and was greeted by the hostess and she sat us. The tables were super close to one another which was the only downfall. Tim was our waiter and he was so nice and attentive. We started with drinks and I got the Spritz and Giggles, it was weak but it was tasty. For my entrée I got the king crab with squid ink pasta and that was good. My boyfriend got the shrimp scampi pasta and he really enjoyed it. Tim gave us a cheesecake because we waited for a while to get drinks and that was so nice and it was so tasty. I also slid in that it was my birthday and he gave me a small, cute dessert to sing happy birthday. I really enjoyed my time, the ambiance was great and so was the food and service.

Lin Dinh: dim, upbeat ambiance with upscale cocktails— perfect spot for a bourgeois night out. plates were tapas size but the perfect portions. the mushroom pizza was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. the short ribs were also superb. love it here!

MADDART: It was my first time dining here. I ordered a New York strip which was about 16 ounces.(a lot bigger than I expected from an upscale restaurant. It was cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor. The server was a bit forgetful about a couple requests I had made for pepper and silverware. I had to ask several times. Other than that the setting was great and I enjoyed my time there.

H. Ibdah: Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. We went there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The waiter was theatrically impressive. The food was outstanding. We tried many dishes, I only took a photo of the main courses. I highly recommend the octopus for a starter. For the main we had the lobster pasta, meatballs, steak and side dishes. Great for romantic dinners and for outing with friends.

john Dickerson: Reservation required, proof of covid vaccination with ID valet available $20. Service was outstanding John was our waiter, and he did a great job everything was swift and on time. The food was delicious, for appetizers we Truffled Garlic Bread Parmigiano-reggiano, 1/2 dozen half Shell oyster, truffle and parmesan cheese pizza, Big Eye Tuna Bruschetta Basil Aioli garlic toast, the main was Lobster Fra DiavolobCalabrian chili & tomato and Short Rib Bolognese Pappardelle, Rosemary. For dessert we had Tiramisu Whipped mascarpone & coffee.

Imani: The decor was nice. We liked our dishes but were not a fan of how soft the meatballs were. The plates were also small. We started off with a spritz for our drinks but sent it back because it was very sweet. We ordered a Paloma instead which was very delicious. The reasons for the star decrease was the hostess. We asked if we could move our table and she tried to explain the seating arrangements but made a condescending remark by saying “does that make sense” with a slight attitude which was very noticeable by the both of us.

Pi Pizzeria: what do users think?

Eric Meyer Music: Last night in DC and pizza was on our RADAR screen. Pi Pizza was close walking distance to our hotel so we gave it a try. Very glad we did. Friendly waitstaff had us seated and sipping very good Margaritas while looking the menu over. Nice atmosphere and bar looked like it would be a good place to be. They were out of Garlic Knots, surprising but they do receive high praise in other’s reviews. We opt for the dry rubbed and broiled veggies. These turned out to be a great choice, a nice mix of carrot planks, cauliflower and broccoli crowns all seasoned and charred to perfection and a solid starter for us, really tasty and accompanied by a cooling tzatziki type sauce. We ultimately went with a build your own thin crust pie, with basil pesto, mixed mushrooms and roasted garlic toppings. Wow, after the great veggies, this pizza was full of wonderful flavors. Piping hot with a nice crisp crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese foundation to really let the other toppings shine. A really good pizza and we washed it down with a couple more Margaritas. Highly recommend Pi Pizza if you’re visiting DC and have a hankering for a great pie.

Christopher French: Amazing place. So beautiful inside. The staff is wonderful, friendly, professional, and helpful. The food is delicious with a number of combinations and pizzas where you can build your own. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Adam Busby: Excellent deep dish pizza. Tasted great, service was quick and friendly. Parking is pretty easy to find in a garage or on the street. I have no complaints. Inside is huge and we waited 5 minutes to be seated after they opened on a Friday. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Capital for the day.

Chomar: Excellent service excellent food an excellent happy hour where local craft beers are only $5 an a slice of thin crust pizza is $4.50. Prices are fair an the deep dish Chicago south side pizza is amazing. The environment is clean and the waiters are always friendly an serve you with a smile. I highly recommend.

Randy Cornett: This gluten free crust was fantastic! It has a nice buttery taste with a crisp bottom and soft, chewy inside. Manager and server were super friendly and helpful too! Beyond the crust, we enjoyed the sauce and great toppings on ‘the hill’ pizza.

Pat Eats: Located right next to Capital One Arena, this is a perfect place for a slice before a Caps game. If you’re looking for Chicago Deep Dish in D.C., Pi Pizzeria is top of the list! Follow pat_eats_ on Instagram for more reviews!

Unconventional Diner: what do users think?

Zeyu Hu: Went to Unconventional Diner for both brunch and dinner and let me tell you they didn’t disappoint at all. Brunch: Got three different items to share for brunch, and each was unique in its own way but complimented each other so well. The shrimp and grits were perfect. The BBQ shrimp had an amazing smokey smell which really made it stand out. The biscuits were also amazing, nice and crispy and the house made sausage was great. The blueberry pancakes were the fluffiest I’ve ever had, a great sweet treat to end the meal. Dinner: Came back for dinner a week later and it blew me out of the water again. As the name suggests, the menu has a large variety and when the waiter tells you you can’t go wrong with anything, they ain’t lying. We got such a variety of food - from French to southern, Chinese stir fry to Cuban. It just all works so well. Bottom line: A must visit if you are in DC. The best wait staff and service. But remember to book ahead!

Claire Mizutani: Went out to dinner with my family and a friend from school. Great food! I really enjoyed the mezze and the Mac n cheese. Speedy service and great labeling on the menu for those with dietary restrictions. I wish that the outdoor seating area had heaters but now that the weather is getting warmer that may be less of an issue

Christopher Guarin: Was in town to check out the Cherry Blossom Festival. We made a point to stop in for some brunch before walking all over town. We were definitely not disappointed. Everything we tried was delicious! From the drinks, to the Everything Lox, and Chicken and Waffles....every bite was amazing. We will be back for more on our next trip!

Eric Lee: Got the cheeseburger and fried chicken. Both were phenomenal. Simple dishes but everything was cooked and seasoned so well. Price for these dishes were affordable. Great vibe as well, pretty large space. Will be back to try more!

Queen Melissa: Wonderful for family outing , a date and friends brunch. Everything was outstanding. The cleanliness was good. The customer service and server was really nice. My kids loved everything and they are usually picky eaters. This was my first time eating shrimps and grits all I can say it was amazing. Overall,we were a satisfied family and will be back again.

Ben Multak: Unconventional diner dishes but delicious flavors. Everything I’ve tried here has hit and the restaurant itself is a well oiled machine. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the area. Really enjoyed the Crab Fritters and Fried Chicken

Sirius Fidelity: This was one of my favorite food places on my trip. The place was a pretty good size, clean, and bright. There also appeared to be outside dining as well. I ordered the kid size portion of the Blueberry Lavender Pancakes as pictured, and the Shrimp and Grits. Nothing short of amazing. Prices were reasonable and the portion sizes good. I highly recommend this place.

Christal Young: I love a place that has vegan as well as non-vegan options. This place was so good, I came back two days in a row. Their kale nachos were just superb and their cauliflower salad with falafel was also delicious and filling. The colors and ambiance are also nicely done. There are several dining spaces, including indoor and outside seating, each with its own vibe.

ReCreate Artworks: I found this gem about a 20 minute walk north of the mall. I cannot recommend it enough. There was plenty of seats, the staff was quick and efficient, and the restaurant itself was stunning. It makes you feel luxurious without having the price tag that usually comes with it. It’s very affordable but the quality of food is beyond the price. I got a double shot of espresso and the Brussel Sprouts with Fried Egg. 10/10.

Chunhee Hong: We had buttermilk pancake, corned beef hash, cappuccino and rise & shine. All delicious! The customer service and server were really nice. Overall,we were satisfied and will be back again to try other menu!

Tortino Restaurant: what do users think?

Adam Galazka: Amazing.....Amazing....Amazing. This place is a gem. They were very accommodating to my family of five. Service was amazing and food was delicious. For appetizers we tried mushroom soup and grilled octopus. Perfect flavor and temperature. For dinner we tried a variety of pastas and a Salmon dish. Again delicious and food temperature was perfect. Did not have to wait very long for food to come to the table. By far one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to.

Ally T: Absolutely love this place! Truly a hidden gem in the DC area. I come here EVERY time I’m in the area and am never disappointed. The kindest staff, amazing food and reasonable prices! So delicious! A must try!

Paul LaVigne: A hidden gem that deserves to be experienced by everyone. This Italian restaurant may be small in size, however the food is amazing. Some local DC friends picked this restaurant to meet us out for dinner tonight, and we are so glad they did. We started out with the Beef Carpaccio, Buffalo mozzarella, arugula, pesto, and spicy micro-greens appetizer. It is a light weight appetizer that packs a punch of flavor. For the main course my wife had the Saffron Taglierini with scallops. She says it was as delicious as it sounds. I ordered the Lamb Shank - Ossobucco style with spinach mash potatoes. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the dish as a whole was fantastic as well as more than I could eat in one setting, so I will be enjoying the leftovers for another meal. To top everything off, we had their tiramisu for dessert. It was very good. Next time though I think we’ll try the cheesecake.

Peter W.: Great Italian place! We got the lamb ravioli which was exceptionally good. The linguini and taglierini was both good in its own way. Scallop appetizer was well cooked but a bit too salty. Would recommend overall.

Lady Abbo: This is a truly authentic experience of Italian cuisine! A very relaxed and intimate environment. From pasta to dessert a joy for your taste buds!

Leopoldo Avellan: Grilled octopus very good, risotto with lobster and shrimp sublime. The Tiramisu was awesome. The canoli were average. Alex, our server was superb

Carson Peck: Solid little fast food joint. Burgers seem very legit and fries are solid. Fast food done properly.

SkizzySami 2: I really enjoyed theses burgers ! They were freshly made and there were fast . This was the first place that had amazing customer service and actually got my order right ! I will definitely be coming back soon !

Alok Sinha: Came here a few times during my visit to Washington D.C. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was really good. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. Would recommend coming here if you are in the area.

Tracey Mangham: In the heart of DC its a popular place. Busy as expected so the wait was a few minutes longer than usual. Food is good and seating was plentiful.

Curry & Pie: what do users think?

Veronica Johnson: We were on campus at Georgetown University and looking for a place to have lunch and saw this restaurant on Yelp. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is pretty small but it really delivers. Most of the tables are up on the second floor but there are a couple of tables on the first floor when you walk in. The service was prompt and the food was amazing! We did a plate of the Chicken Momos (think an Indian version of potstickers), the Paneer Makhani (the sauce was TO DIE FOR!), and a piece of naan. The naan was the only thing we felt luke warm about - not that it was bad just that everything else was so good! Although we didn’t try it, we saw a few tables order the French Fry Chaat and it looked great! I hope you decide to try this place - you won’t be disappointed!

Critical Chris: We had tandoori tamales, which were a bit dry, but the chicken momos were better. The onion kulcha and butter chicken were a nice way to finish the meal. The service was excellent. The atmosphere a solid B.

Proficient Potato: Best Indian I’ve found in DC so far. There were a bunch of vegetarian options, but I went with the Malai Kofta which was amazing! The garlic naan was delicious, but not the type of bread I usually associate with “naan”. I ordered delivery through a third party app and it arrived early, warm, and well packaged.

Bernardo Mar: Delicious and affordable. We ordered the tikka masala pizza, French fry chat and saag lamb. As a lover of Indian food this fusion restaurant excellently blended dishes to create flavorful and unique dishes. The French fry chat had delicious sauces and chutney. ( highly recommend) The staff was very friendly and the environment was very cozy and college student friendly. Only think I would improve are the tables, the old wooden tables were sticky.

Chiara: Innovative, comforting, delicious! Amazing Indian fusion in Georgetown. We got: • the French Fry Chaat (pictured) • Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice • Garlic Naan • Lamb Vindaloo Curry Pizza Pie • Milk tea I can’t even decide which one was my favorite. Very reasonable prices and great service. We got to sit at a window table upstairs that looked out onto the street which was so pleasant! We’ll definitely be back and hope you go support them too! 🧡 @chiarascrumbs on Instagram

Megan: Very delicious Indian Pizza, very unique combination. But loved it! Only one staff member there at the time but he was very nice.

Rosa Cannady: Small place with charm. The food was good. Wish they would have used the Naan bread in lieu of whatever pizza crust they are using so it was more in line with the theme. The samosa were large and the drinks great.

Alexander O'Neill: All-around solid spot of Indian food and pizza! Would recommend the chat fries and tandoori chicken pizza

Alex Navarro: Love their food. The Indian curries are my favorite. I like that you can choose the heat level. I also like that each dish comes with rice instead of having to order it separately. While each dish comes with plenty of sauce, the dishes are often a bit lacking on the proteins. Having all the sauce to dip in though is great, so I don’t mind. My only other issue is how much the prices vary depending on how you order. If you go there prices are lower. If you order for pick up they are a little more. If you order take out they can be a few dollars more per dish. I’d rather them just charge a flat delivery fee than increase the prices of each dish. It feels a bit like you’re getting ripped off. The prices are good though compared to other Indian food in the area. Pick ups also took much longer than expected.

The Palm - Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Cindee Sheeler: First time visiting for a friends birthday..Was absolutely amazing. Reggie and the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and very personable. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Upscale dining with an old world vibe, but not stuffy and pretentious. Reggie and a staff member sang to my friend for her birthday and they were wonderful..

Ryan Arnt: Great food, eclectic atmosphere a Steakhouse that sets the bar high. If you get a chance make sure you eat here.

rob santiago: It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Kylie was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations. She understood exactly how I wanted a monkey shoulder rusty nail and that nailed the night for me. I will be back.

André Hentz: The service, food, and ambiance is fantastic. We recently celebrated our anniversary at The Palm, and will dine there again for sure.

Gentle John: Good food as you would expect. Our waiter seemed a bit distracted

Kinship: what do users think?

Andrea Bindewald: My husband and I celebrated our 16th anniversary dinner here this week. We had an awesome time. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect. Great lighting, good background music, and the restaurant was cozy but not overcrowded. The food and drinks were top notch. Paced well. The plating was beautiful and the various combinations of flavor profiles was really interesting and delicious. Highly recommend making reservations as they book up sometimes a week out. Only open Wed-Sun

Guilherme Montassier: The ambiance is very modern and light. It feels like you are in an art gallery waiting for new paintings to arrive, in between exhibits. The food is definitely above your average restaurant, with well thought flavor combinations and lovely presentation. Most of the dishes did not dazzle me, but the kinship roast chicken is a delight. Roast chicken done to perfection. I was also very surprised by the black forest cake. Overall a good experience, but am not planning a return for now.

Shannen: One of the best dinners I’ve had in DC to date! My boyfriend took me here for my birthday, and there was a little handwritten birthday note at the table when we arrived. Food was amazing; we truly loved everything we ordered (the potatoes served with the ribeye were too salty, though). Drinks were good too. Service was awesome, and I wish I could remember our main server’s name, because he was incredible. In summary, I highly recommend this spot for your next special occasion!!

Manda B: Best dining experience of my life. We had an incredible amount of fun. And if Matthew is your server, consider yourself incredibly incredibly lucky Lobster French toast 👌 Duck dish. 👌 Carrot cake... Killed us ♥️👌♥️👌

Rebecca Kaufman: One of my favorite places to eat in DC. Is it expensive? Yes. Expect to spend about $100-$150 a person if eating well and drinking cocktails or glasses of wine. However this is one of the few places that you will never be disappointed with the quality of food, service, and general atmosphere. It is absolutely worth every penny spent.

The Pig: what do users think?

Sam M: One of My favorite BBQ restaurants in DC. I visited this place several times and really had a great experience. This place could get pretty busy during the weekend dinner service, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Inside of the restaurant was relatively clean and had enough seating for big groups. Pretty much all the dishes I tried here were delicious, but my favorite was pork chops and smoked ribs. They also have an extensive drink and dessert menu. I really loved their strawberry shortcake. It literally melts in your mouth. Servers were very friendly and attentive during the whole dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant for some good BBQ!

Lord Edwin Carreon: I really like The Pig. I’ve been 3 times (once pre-COVID-19 Pandemic and twice in the Pandemic) and have consistently enjoyed my experience. At its core, The Pig is a barbecue joint. It does offer some upscale and fancier items, which I like. The hi-low effect is well done at The Pig. The dining room is dimly lit and cozy with its wood booths and industrial finishes. The addition of the patio offers a more casual outdoor experience. Some of my favorite items include their St. Louis Smoked Ribs and Brisket Ragu. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and perfectly smoked and sauced. Honestly, the side dishes are nice accompaniments, but don’t necessarily augment the dish. The Brisket Ragu is a perfect hi-low dish offering tender chunks of smoked brisket in a delicate, unctuous tomato and red wine sauce that beautifully coats chewy tagliatelle pasta. My favorite item on the menu is the Heritage Shank. (“12-hour confit pork shank, Yunnan potato puree, leafy spinach, roasted garlic and ginger gastric [sic].”) It’s a special dish that offers a generous portion of tender and juicy pork whose taste is amplified by the side dishes. The ginger gastrique is exceptional and balances the fatty richness of the pork. I will say, like many restaurants after these past two years, The Pig’s menu has shrunk. I really miss some of their signature items, like their bone marrow appetizer. They were unique, exceptionally delicious dishes that should return. Moreover, the portion sizes have definitely gotten smaller. Lastly, service 2/3 of the times I’ve been have been stellar, with attentive and kind wait staff. The other time I’ve been, our server was nice enough, but forgot several things we asked for (an alteration to a dish, ordering another drink, and bringing us more napkins).

Beverlyn Salva: Okay, here me out. If you or your partner haven’t eaten anything since breakfast and HAS been walking around DC ALL day and you’re looking for some food to eat? I’d recommend the Pig! My boyfriend and I have made a list of food places to go before going on our trip and so we can just pick and go.They have some great appetizers and entrees, drinks are delish, dessert is also delish… but what really amazed me is our server Kima. She was super knowledgeable, blissful, great personality and her customer service is on point. That’s what I usually look for when eating out. We love to eat but we also like to know what the front of house can do to make our dining experience better. :) Thank you Kima and the Pig (DC).

Joel Pagett: I enjoyed a fantastic meal in The Pig, and I would have no hesitation recommending it to others. The Bao Buns to start were incredible, and the Pork Shoulder steak was sensational as well. Certainly worth a visit if you’re in Washington and looking for a delicious dinner.

Ben Multak: Good flavors but not my favorite BBQ I’ve ever had. Federalist Pig has better BBQ but the ambiance of this place is much bette. Drinks were also very good and they are able to accommodate large groups.

Columbia City Bouquet: We come here every time we are in town. The cocktails are delicious. The food is super tasty. And we always have a blast with our waiters/bartenders- this time Michael was especially fun. Don’t go in thinking it’s going to be the best barbecue you’ve ever had straight from Austin, but it will surely be delicious. Eat the Brussels sprouts.

MI VIDA: what do users think?

Ben Vance: The staff (especially the hostess) were extremely nice and accommodating. We originally sat outside but realized it was getting too cold for us. So she found us a spot we could move inside which was an excellent, warm spot. The food was very good as well as the margaritas. Recommend checking it out.

DEZAREE JOHNSON: Mi Vida is now my favorite place to dine. I honestly have been there 3 times in the past week. The staff is always amazing and very patient with me lol. I can’t remember my first waitresses name but the last two times I had Wendy And Louise with his fine self. It sits right on the water. So there’s an amazing view. I will forever be a customer at this place.

Eric Lee: Prompt Seating, waiter very attentive. Food from, appetizers to dinner, very fresh. Food was tasty, guacamole fresh, chips and salsa also no complaints. Price average+ (pp) for location. Won’t be disappointed in taste, service and wait.

Tahoma Lewis: Had an excellent time at lunch. Our waiter was prompt, courteous and knew the protocol for removing flatware and dinnerware. This place has proven itself again to be a nice place to go for a fantastic meal.

Angel Fross: Pretty good! I definitely enjoyed my experience, but it wasn’t the absolute best food I’ve had, especially for the price. This is a good place to try once, but I don’t think it’s worth a second visit. Just not super notable, but the food is alright!

Leah Underwood: Yummy Mexican food with Happy Hour if you sit at the bar. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t serve happy hour for dine in. Beautiful scenery along the wharf. Known for their margaritas and guacamole. Everything is pretty much ala carte including the chips and salsa. Large bar when you enter with many delicious food options including a children menu.

Carmine's Italian Restaurant - Washington D.C.: what do users think?

Albert Jonathan: Looking for an Italian food in the downtown area, and found this decent Italian restaurant. Overall, we had a great dining experience. The server was very friendly and professional, she started by explaining a few things about the restaurant and told us that the food is supposed to be shared by 2-3 people per portion. Foods taste great and the price is reasonable.

Mark Michael Blue: Great food, however for less than 3 or 4 people not well suited. The only regular tables are available for a menu that only serves family-sizes. So if you go there alone as I did, you either have tons of leftovers or ruin every diet you’re on - also, whatever you order apart from drinks comes multiplied by 4 basically and costs accordingly. So ordering a simple garlic bread sets you back 15 USD and you get like 9 pieces. No issue if you sit at the bar to get human-sized portions, however it tainted the experience a little. Nonetheless, the food was gorgeous and the staff great!

Shad Kearns: Excellent Italian restaurant! We had a great dining experience. The server was very friendly and professional, she started by explaining a few things about the restaurant and told us that the food is supposed to be shared by 2-3 people per portion. Foods taste great and the price is reasonable.

Luke Meyers: Restaurant had a good feel to it. Located in heart of DC. Food was very good and the size of portions family style. Family of 4 and we just did sides, glad we did, plenty for the empty stomachs after walking the Mall and plenty to bring back to the hotel. Place was packed and full of people. Meatballs and eggplant made the family happy. For post dining though not on the menu, a few glasses of limoncello, only the Italian might ask. Food was priced for area.

Mike Olson: First time dining and didn’t realize it’s family style but luckily I’m old enough to sit at the bar where smaller portions are offered. Ordered the Rigatoni with Broccoli and Sausage with a Red Sauce. It was a busy Saturday night and the food took longer to arrive than I’d have liked but once it did I was instantly impressed and very satisfied with the meal. Also worth mentioning that the service at the bar was exceptional and truly professional.

Kim Nguyen: Carmine’s offers family style dishes. By family style, I mean big portions. We ordered a shrimp scampi with linguine for 2 of us. We couldn’t finish half of the portion. It was huge as you can see in the photo (the knife for size preference). Carmine’s is perfect for a family of 4 or more because you can get the most for the value. Reservation is recommended.

Karoline Melo: The place is nice for a family gathering. The dishes are HUGE, really HUGE, it easily serves 5 people. Just a tip: they serve half portion of the cannoli, but you have to ask because it’s not written in the menu. The food is tasty, the chicken parmigiana is one of the best I had. The cannoli was good too!

Joyce Griffin: So much food. Serve many portions. The courses were a great variety, salads, muscles, shrimp, fish, pasta, lasagne, fresh fruit, dessert, beverage. All you could eat. Went as a group to celebrate graduation. Servers were awesome, attentive and made sure we had extra portions if we wanted. Would highly recommend even though price per person was $70. It was worth it.

Filomena Ristorante: what do users think?

Patrick Young: I loved their Easter decorations! They really went all out and the decorations are more classic too and remind me of better times! Their bread appetizer with olive oil is very tasty and the wait service was impeccable. The waiter misheard my original order, but they quickly corrected it and got me my correct dish. Both of our dishes were delicious and had plenty of sauce. The dessert was scrumptious too! All of these were a reasonable price as well. If you are going out for a date, I highly recommend this place! It’s so far my favorite Italian restaurant in DC!

Jessica Lopez: The restaurant goes all out with seasonal decorations, this time around Easter time. It was a bit strange seeing so many bunnies but at the same time the over decorating is what many Italian grandmas do! Service was decent, not the best. Portions are huge so definitely recommend sharing especially because of the prices. The bread service with the olive oil and spices was delicious, raviolis were great and the eclair was so delicious and creamy, it tasted like profiteroles actually. Definitely recommend coming back.

Laura Ruiz: My husband and me went to Georgetown to celebrate my birthday. We couldn’t make a reservation for dinner, however, we walked in around 3:30 and after a 5 minutes wait we had a table. The experience in this place was unforgettable. It started with three different kinds of homemade bread, follow for fresh appetizers, flavorful entrees, homemade amaretto and finally the best cannoli that we ever had.

Anthony Stewart: Spacious, friendly and really amazing fare. The host was magnanimous and his larger-than-life personality makes one feel welcome and as though the food will be authentically Italian, and the staff do not disappoint. The bread and pesto were brilliant, as were the stuffed mushroom starters. The main courses tasted amazing and arrived at our table in good time, allowing us the opportunity to experience how the meal tasted at all stages of temperature. Really great experience and one that makes one want to return again and again (and I’ll be happy to oblige). Unfortunately, a cupcake bakery not too far away got the better of our appetites before we dined at Filomena, so dessert was not on our menu for the afternoon’s meal, but next time! 5/5 well-deserved stars!

Inma Guerrero: We loved this crazy place. Uber decorated with Christmas things and on the expensive side. The pasta plates are huge, I guess you are supposed to share them and the chocolate cake super decadent. Great service too!

Bombay Street Food 2: what do users think?

143 cry: Amazing ambience and even better taste. Everything was superb, my new fav spot in DC. The manager was even friendlier too and checkin about the service and share details about the other locations and the founder. Our server was amazing too, added last minute request to our order once we forgot to alter slider remark. Had authentic taste and flavor of all spices. It made our last day in DC worth it.

Rahul Agarwal: Loved everything about this location and restaurant. Some delicious food starting with palak chat and gobhi manchurian. Highly recommend malai kofta and dal tadka. Cheery on top was fantastic service, outdoor seating, and very welcoming host. I would visit them again

Rachel Murphy: Really good food. Had the pakora and thali and that was way too much food for 2 people- but we ate it all because it was delicious. Definitely spicy and the meat was very tender. The chana and lamb curry were my favorite and the least favorite was the chicken tikka masala that was a tad too tomatoy for me. Overall would return. Note - the food comes out very fast and the main course came out before we were half done with the appetizer. Next time I’d wait to order the main course.

Taylor Lockard: Loved this place! I had excellent service from multiple servers and the manager. And our food was very tasty. One of my friends ordered a sampler for 2 and it was awesome.
