bradley Wilde: My husband and I have just come home from the Sherman Williams located on Wisconsin Avenue where we were assisted by a most competent and friendly young man named Michael. He was knowledgeable, friendly, gave advice, and was not pushy in the slightest. While we had thought we would compare Sherwin Williams with other paint stores in the area we were so impressed with Michael that decided to forego comparison shopping and will be back in a week to order the paint we need to redo the interior of our apartment. Many thanks Michael for all of your help this morning. Most appreciated!
Gontran Archer: The staff was extremely courteous and professional. I picked up a gallon at a store 1 hour away which was mixed wrong. I found them just a mile from my job site so they allowed me to bring the paint to their store and provided me with a freshly mixed gallon in the right color! They were great and I highly recommend them.....they are my new store from now on!

HearthCabinet: The Hines & Co showroom in The Washington Design Center is the perfect mix of elegance and warmth. We have worked with them for a couple years now and it is always a pleasure to collaborate. Their team is very professional and a great resource for the latest and greatest in design trends and how to best utilize materials to suite your particular project. Would definitely recommend visiting their showroom in DC.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.
Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. Gwen George: Customer service is important to me as I only choose to spend money where I feel valued as a customer. The team at this store gets it! Everyone was personable, friendly & polite. Tre assisted me in ordering about 20 gallons of paint for my home. This was sourced from multiple locations and still available for pick up on time the next day. Tre patiently went above and beyond to work with me to ensure I got the most accurate colors which compliment the lighting in my home. The 8th St. SE location is definitely highly recommended and my preferred location for purchasing Sherwin Williams paint & products.

Pauly Kerins: I’ll tell you what, the customer service in this store is TOP NOTCH!! My 1st visit I was a bit lost but Jay the manager walked me through what I needed for the size of the room I was painting. All I had to do was pick out the color, my man even gave me some pointers on how to prep properly. Legit!! My 2nd visit was even smoother. Jack one of the other managers recognized me and was able to look up my color that chose last time and got me out the door in less than 5 min. TOP NOTCH!! Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..
Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

Stacy Lemery: Having a West Elm accessible to bus and metro lines is great for residents of the DC area. There is always lots more online, but being able to see the quality of bedding, furniture, etc in person makes a big difference. I have purchased a bed, bedding, hallway shelving, a shoe rack, curtains, candle holders, and other decor from West Elm.
Eric Overton: Staff at this store were basically useless and didn’t seem to know much about the products for sale. Fortunately, I was only there to test a floor model before buying online. Shipping was fast with only two weeks between purchase and delivery. Delivery dudes were both prompt and chill.
Geneva: I was wary of buying from this store based on some of the reviews here; however, after a year of searching for the right sectional, I found the perfect one for me at West Elm. I received good service from the store. The sales person was very clear that my sectional - which I bought in November for a nice discount - would not arrive until early January. As promised, I got calls and emails from the delivery department the second week of January and was able to schedule a date that worked for me. The two delivery guys were amazing - they had to maneuver their big truck down a narrow alley to get to the loading dock. They were professional and efficient and out of my apartment in less than 15 minutes. The sectional is exactly what I wanted and so comfortable.

I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!
Michael uthe: The store with more. Walked in and thought was small. But as I got farther in it opened up to huge room with a downstairs and outdoor garden section. Truly awesome and amazing staff.
