bradley Wilde: My husband and I have just come home from the Sherman Williams located on Wisconsin Avenue where we were assisted by a most competent and friendly young man named Michael. He was knowledgeable, friendly, gave advice, and was not pushy in the slightest. While we had thought we would compare Sherwin Williams with other paint stores in the area we were so impressed with Michael that decided to forego comparison shopping and will be back in a week to order the paint we need to redo the interior of our apartment. José Enrique Samayoa: Gave one star because 0 is not possible.Terrible customer service. Today in the afternoon, we went with my fiancé to this store to purchase the paint and tools for our new house. We were excited as this is our first home and first time painting. There was only one very rude lady in the store who was annoyed with our questions and kept pressuring us as she kept saying that she needed to close the store (half an hour before closing). We didn’t end up buying anything and decided to make our purchase somewhere else. If you’re planning on buying from this store don’t expect to get help or guidance.

Gontran Archer: The staff was extremely courteous and professional. I picked up a gallon at a store 1 hour away which was mixed wrong. I found them just a mile from my job site so they allowed me to bring the paint to their store and provided me with a freshly mixed gallon in the right color! They were great and I highly recommend them.....they are my new store from now on!

Kris Juncker: Sherwin Williams recycles paint cans. This is a great service. We use SW paints for my workplace, and I switched to SW for home because of the quality. However, contractors get a price discount so definitely work with your builder if you are getting the walls painted.

Christopher Burger: I ordered Hunter Douglas shades from Monarch. They were installed incorrectly - they are not level, don't close all the way - tons of problems. I have been chasing Monarch paint since August 2021 to come repair them. No response - If you call the design center, no one answers and there is no answering service. They don't respond to emails. These shades look horrible and were a complete waste of money. I can deal with things not being installed correctly - if the vendor fixes the issue. The fact they were installed incorrectly and the vendor is AVOIDING the issue is what makes this so troubling. If you want any level of service whatsoever, stay away from Monarch paint!

C H: I was very pleased with the assistance of the designers; one came to our house to help with selections. I purchased a variety of paints for different rooms. They also helped with wallpaper selection which I also purchased there and just love.

William B: Waited for 10 minutes or so before someone in the store asked if I needed some help. One person at the counter helping someone for some time. Another employee was throwing/slamming boxes of paint on the counter, visibly upset that he had to work. Cursing and using other derogatory terms about another employee(?). Clearly didn't care about customers in the store and perhaps thought everyone was a contractor? Realize it's tough to get good help these days but I will likely take my business elsewhere after this experience, very disappointed. Historically have had better service and more knowledgeable employees. 9/22/21, ~2:30pm.

Gail Smith: Whatever type of paint or color of paint you need, they have it. Also they have most of other painting supplies. The employees are very professional and courteous. They even loaded my car for me.

Paul Albers: Third bad experience in this store today.... I think they must cater to contractors because they don't seem to like consumers... today I came in to look for paint colors for a kitchen remodel, I was asked by the staff if I needed some help I said yes but I was met with impatience - I had backsplash samples and sample of the cabinet, when I presented them I got an eye roll and a curt paint color suggestion - then she turned on her heel and walked away. Last year, when doing a bathroom remodel I received similar treatment. I live in the neighborhood and want to support the local businesses, but in the future I think I will go to Strosniders if I want to purchase Benjamin Moore.

Christopher Parker: Stay away from this store and Hunter Douglas PowerView at all costs! One year ago (around July 9, 2016) we started the process to buy shades here. We have an area where we can't reach the shades so we needed the motorized version. There was mistake after mistake by the people measuring and installing the shades meaning my wife or I had to take off work a number of times. After install, the shades didn't work and were getting stuck to the paint. Some of them would start to raise and then stop after an inch. We were told this was our fault because of the paint we had on the ledges and we given (free of charge I must say) a gallon of special paint that was supposed solve all of our problems. The process seemed to be resolved in December 2016 but now, one year after I first stepped into this store, I am dealing with a shade that goes up an inch and then stops. Spend your money anywhere else. UPDATE: we got a full refund but only after threatening to take them to court over it.

We are a family owned business and care very much about the service we provide to our local community. It is very rare to have an issue like this with PowerView, but that being said, we completely understand why you feel this way. Thank you for your feedback.

know-it-alls knownothingatall: Beautiful antique building. Sort of a 30's feel to. Mostly businesses and Office. It has an interior design area mainly fabric showroom. It has a garage (It cost) maybe 14 bucks or so. It has a restaurant (Brown Bag) and security. It has a bus stop in front of the building and you can grab a cab.

HearthCabinet: The Hines & Co showroom in The Washington Design Center is the perfect mix of elegance and warmth. We have worked with them for a couple years now and it is always a pleasure to collaborate. Their team is very professional and a great resource for the latest and greatest in design trends and how to best utilize materials to suite your particular project. Would definitely recommend visiting their showroom in DC.

Ali Azad: Beautiful selection of furniture, designer furniture and custom draperies. Only if they would let people in all the stores without company of designer.

Sarah Wilson: Went to the Duralee showroom where I was provided with excellent customer service.

Terry Seery: I've spent a third the price on paint that worked better than the Farrow & Ball paint did. It's a very thin paint - two coats are required, and in some places (corners where I had to use a brush) three coats were necessary. I do like the color (Mizzle) but it's not worth the work or the money. And then the retail store on Wisconsin is just that - a retail storefront. It's not where the paint is mixed so they may be out of paint at any one point. From my own experience, I'd highly recommend calling first to make sure the paint you want is in stock.

K Barnett: Unused and unopened paint had coagulated to the point of being unusable. I went to the store to find a solution to the issue. I explained the situation, but was treated poorly by the location manager. He told me that “there was nothing he could do.” He couldn’t even look up my sale, and just dug in his heels! He would not even offer to dispose of the paint. For the cost of the product I would surely expect better customer service. I later contacted the F&B customer service offices for assistance and they provided guidance, solutions, and also apologized for the location manager’s behavior. They informed me the paint should not have coagulated within the timeframe of purchase. They encouraged me to return to F&B for disposal of the paint. I also needed to purchase primer. I was greeted by a wonderful staff person, and informed him of the customer service guidance, but the location manager insisted on continuing his inappropriate behavior, so he would not allow the other staff to process my purchase and disposal. I protested him overtaking the transaction, but the manager sent the staff person off the floor! The team is new, but better training is needed for management. My previous experiences with the F&B team has been positive, but this was abysmal to say the least.

Zlatica Hoke: The colors are fabulous and the stuff knowledgeable, but a little snotty. They exude an air of impatience as if awaiting to see you go away ASAP. The other problem is their M-F work hours. Why not Saturdays at least half a day? Is this place catering only to wealthy housewives who don't have to work?

Hunter McGuire: I’ve never had a paint project go so badly. I prepped, followed their instructions along with the instructions on the can and I ended up wasting hours of my time and I still don’t have a proper paint finish. I wish I would have never set foot in their store. I’m going to have to strip three coats of paint and one coat of primer and start all over. With a different brand obviously.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Brad Sargent: First and foremost SW super paint is probably the best product on the market. The boys in the store are awesome they will help you to the car and they double check everything. Plus they constantly send you discounts in the mail and online.

peter pinkham: This is a nice store - location is excellent, but the size of it precludes they're keeping a large supply of various bases etc on hand. Luckily for me, when I went there I was able to get exactly what I needed. Never hurts to call ahead too! The gentleman in there knew his stuff and got me in and out in a jiffy. I was very grateful for that. They get two thumbs up.

Unparalleled Eye Designs: Always an cool and efficient experience here! This location has been my go to lately.... the two gentlemen that seemingly run the store, William & Damien, are such helpful and pleasant associates. Eric Xavier Leo Noro: This is the place to get your paint! Great quality, they meet the customers needs, and the have pretty much anything you need fro a small touch up job to painting an entire house. Some paints are expensive, but if you go with quality you'll probably never have to paint in a very long time and colors won't fade with these high end brands. They also have other brands that will not hurt your wallet. They also carry blinds. This is my go to place now.

Andrew Eifert: I'm a professional painter so I go to all the painting stores. And I have certainly no problem with any of monarchs employees they do a great job. But if you're looking for the most expensive paint in town go to Monarch. You have to also understand that Benjamin Moore paint stores are a independently operated franchise. So not every Benjamin Moore store is owned by monarch .

Paula F: Don't try to order anything online and expect it to be ready when they promise. I ordered some paint samples online and received an email a couple of hours later saying that they were ready to pick up. When I got there the store had closed early. When I went the next day, I was informed that the paints hadn't been mixed but if I waited for 10-15 min they could make them for me. So not much point in using the online service, you might as well just show up.

Zlatica Hoke: Zero stars. Of all the area paint stores, this one is the worst and the most expensive, the service the slowest, the selection of merchandise poorest. I get a faster service at ACE or Monarch with 10 people in the store than in this SW store with one or two shoppers in the store. The staff does not show interest in your needs. I asked about the quality of the masking tape (they are not all the same) and the seller said he did not understand the question. When I tried to be more specific and wanted to know if the tape was smooth like vinyl or more like crepe paper, he said he still did not understand. The shop caters only goods wanted by contractors albeit its location in a residential street where many people have small projects and do not need huge quantities. The only reason I ever go there is because it is a block from where I live, but every time I go I get distressed. It is worth driving further to get decent service and decent and reasonably priced merchandise.

Pauly Kerins: I’ll tell you what, the customer service in this store is TOP NOTCH!! My 1st visit I was a bit lost but Jay the manager walked me through what I needed for the size of the room I was painting. All I had to do was pick out the color, my man even gave me some pointers on how to prep properly. Legit!! My 2nd visit was even smoother. Jack one of the other managers recognized me and was able to look up my color that chose last time and got me out the door in less than 5 min. TOP NOTCH!! Here’s the kicker last visit they gave me a voucher for the food truck that they had parked outback!! Whaaaat!! Taco Taco Thanks Guys, That’s What Customer Service Is All About.

Gregory Pitman: Choose another Sherwin-Williams location. I tried ordering samples online (covd-19) but one of the colors I wanted says it can't be made even though it's a Sherwin-Williams color. At that point I called the store to ask if it could be done as a "Custom Color" order since that is an option on the website. The answer I kept getting was "If it's a designer color I can't make it" which I understand but he kept repeating this instead of answering my question and I'm still not sure if the color is a "designer color" or not as he kept repeating the same answer with no further discussion. At no time did the person ask "What is the color so we can double check if that's the issue" or "what is the color?" he just kept repeating the same thing "Designer colors can't be made into a sample". I still don't know if the color I wanted was a designer color or not. I went to another Sherwin-Williams where they were told me "it's an online glitch and we can certainly help you."

Cassandra Hall: Went in today to begin a major repaint indoor and out. Two employees behind counter both looking down at their cell phones. Several customers in the store when we came in. Went to counter to ask for assistance. The female rep looked up and asked if we were ready to check out. We had just entered but again, both reps were staring at their phones and didn't realize we were just entering. I told the female rep we needed assistance and she looked at the male employee, he shook his head, she sat back down and they both continued to look at their phones. They said nothing, refused to assist. We took a few paint chips went to Home Depot and received excellent service. Entire time in Sherwin Williams, 20 minutes, not one time was any assistance given. Home Depot, 200.00 paint purchase from very helpful. I thought we would getting better assistance from our small neighborhood specialty store. I was very wrong. If you want to be completely ignored after requesting assistance this store will not disappoint.

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

Jeff Rueckgauer: Needed a red 10 cup Brita pitcher. App says there is 1 in stock. Not on the shelf. 4 associates said they couldn't help but would page someone for the aisle. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to at least arrive, even if they have to look further. This HD had been really good for many years. The pandemic is no excuse for just unhelpful people and plainly unconcerned, inept management.

Rickey Anderson: I went to the Rhode Island Avenue store it was good. What would made it excellent if their stock was current with the website. They didn't have it even though the computer said they did have it. The item was Sphagnum moss. Happy that I was able to find a few other items

Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.

I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.

Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.

Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

Chris P: I totally wasted my time and money by buying Sherwin-Williams paint. Go to Home Depot or Lowe's to get the same quality at half the price. Contractors should use McCormick's instead.

Stacy Lemery: Having a West Elm accessible to bus and metro lines is great for residents of the DC area. There is always lots more online, but being able to see the quality of bedding, furniture, etc in person makes a big difference. I have purchased a bed, bedding, hallway shelving, a shoe rack, curtains, candle holders, and other decor from West Elm.

Ms.: I love the items in the store. Very stylish and very unique. 2 full floors of sofas, pillows, dishes, pot holders, baskets, wall decor and more. Easy to stay in store and "look"..sure to find an item for your home or gift for another. Can't really talk about customer service except to say no one acknowledged or ask me did I need help to find an item. I was on my own..succeed

Eric Overton: Staff at this store were basically useless and didn’t seem to know much about the products for sale. Fortunately, I was only there to test a floor model before buying online. Shipping was fast with only two weeks between purchase and delivery. Delivery dudes were both prompt and chill.

Geneva: I was wary of buying from this store based on some of the reviews here; however, after a year of searching for the right sectional, I found the perfect one for me at West Elm. I received good service from the store. The sales person was very clear that my sectional - which I bought in November for a nice discount - would not arrive until early January. As promised, I got calls and emails from the delivery department the second week of January and was able to schedule a date that worked for me. The two delivery guys were amazing - they had to maneuver their big truck down a narrow alley to get to the loading dock. They were professional and efficient and out of my apartment in less than 15 minutes. The sectional is exactly what I wanted and so comfortable.

MIchael Wright: Prices are unnecessarily high, since the doors are left open during warm weather, thus requiring more energy for A/C,, which also incrementally contributes to climate-changing emissions. So, not the shop for customers who either don't like higher prices or want to help the environment.

Angela Garcia: STAY AWAY FROM WEST ELM. It's customer service is the worst, they won't ever deliver your items on time, they won't care and won't do anything about their mistakes with your order....it is just not worth it. I have received the wrong item TWICE (which honestly I don't understand how they can mess up the size of a piece which is clearly stated in their website other than it should have never been offered there in the first place because it doesn't exist). Now I'm stuck with an item which is not the one I ordered, and west elm won't care to pick it up and complete the return. THIS BRAND IS A JOKE.

Joe C.: Thus far, we've had nothing but a good experience working with west elm. The store associate we worked with was knowledgeable, professional, and personable, and really helped us choose the best option for our apartment. Our furniture won't arrive for a while, but we'll eagerly await it! The store itself was clean and well-organized.

Annapurna Mitra: The worst delivery experience I have encountered. I ordered a dining table and four chairs, with in-home delivery. The chairs were sent via UPS, not assembled, and with no explanation despite paying $250 for in-home delivery. I live alone, and there are 7 pages of assembly instructions requiring two people. I have no way of doing this, and am left with a living room like a furniture warehouse. On the other hand, the dining table, which was ready 10 days ago, and I had asked the customer service to wait and schedule an appointment for all items together is yet to arrive. I cannot find a way to schedule anything on the website, and on the phone I can not find a way to talk to a human being. I have received no response to my email. If I could give zero stars I would.

Sarah Gunel: Customer service was super here! All of the sales associates were helpful, but not pushy. They were also pleasant (happy). After we returned home from our shopping, I realize that I left my daughter's hat there. I called and the woman who answered the phone said she would mail it to me. I was incredibly impressed with their customer service. I would definitely return to this store!

The young lady could not get the machine to properly read the keys, so all four keys were cut incorrectly! We then asked about desk locks and she sent us to the pad lock area. Finally two gentlemen took us to the correct area (which was low on stock, of course!). This was not what I would expect from Home Depot! Very disappointed! Of course this store is on my banned list. I can't recommend a place with poor customer service to anyone who reads my reviews. If you do decide to venture here, don't expect the best of help! Look elsewhere!!!

The rep June patiently took her time to wipe down my ink blotched ID until it was visible and gave me some extra Clorox wipes to wipe down my purse. Extra mile. Everyone else in the store were helpful and helped me find everything I needed. Will return

Rich B: Well stocked. Great attendants. Order pickup was confusing and didn't work from the car but easy to get from the desk directly at the entrance. Ignore the signs and exit the same way you entered since pickup parking is at the entrance.

Elian Hauling: TIFFANY AT THE OXON HILL, MARYLAND LOCATION SHOULD NOT SERVICE CUSTOMERS IF SHE DOES NOT LIKE TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS. I came into the HomeDepot wanting to purchase a tool but noticed that no one was around to help with removing the tool and also the orange apron associates were busy with customers. I decided to go to “CUSTOMER SERVICE” to see if anyone can help me with taking the tool out of the cage. Once I walked over to customer service I politely asked an associate if there was anyone that can help with taking a tool out? She then asked me in what aisle was the tool in? While I was going to look and see what isle, there was another associate named TIFFANY who was next to the associate who I spoke with TIFFANY SAID THAT I PASSED 5 ORANGE APRONS BEFORE COMING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHY COULDN’T I ASK ONE OF THE OTHER PEOPLE WITH APRONS. I mentioned that I came to customer service because that is the purpose of customer service, to service the customer. I left and serviced myself in trying to find someone who can actually help me. TIFFANY SHOULD NOT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IF SHE IS NOT WILLING TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Tony Johnson: The check out lines are a tad perplexing. No designated demarcation only an arbitrary queue forming on the right so potential confusion is created but relatively easily resolved. Aka. They use a lot of self checkout.

Jamela Love: I recently went to Lowe's to purchase a washing machine. Memorial Day was over but they had the sale extended into June. Excellent! I didn't see an associate to help me and was about to be agitated, as one associate did finally appear and let me (and another customer) know we had five minutes of help that he could offer! Then Chris arrived! He was so efficient, clear and helpful!!! I was very impressed especially since I rarely shop here and mostly go to lowe's main competitor. This day i was there just because I happened to be in the area. Chris' professionalism and thoroughness really was impressive--so much so that I knew I would write a review. But it gets even better! The reason Lowe's gets 5 stars is because of the wonderful contractor they hired to install my washer! I believe the name is Augustin and the actual technician's name was Ramon. Ramon absolutely went above and beyond to assist me in getting my washer installed. The level of service, kindness and completeness that he provided is better than any I"ve ever received while living in this home. I was so blessed by them coming through and addressing unexpected issues with class, gentleness and understanding. If it were not for Ramon and his staff I still would be without a washing machine today. They took it upon themselves to repair a rusted pipe without charging me anything additional...this is unheard of in today's time. Thank you so very much Lowe's--I am now a new customer. I definitely will come back!!!!

Patrick Walsh: Lowe's in Clinton Maryland has made drastic improvements with their customer service in the past couple months. I had some negative interactions back in July and August of last year which caused me to leave some negative reviews. Since then every time I have walked in the store, every team member that I have dealt with, has been very helpful and absolutely amazing to me. I actually enjoy going to the Lowe's in Clinton instead of driving some distance to one of the other stores now.

Cheryl Davis2: I dread going into this location. A bunch of employees standing around talking until they see a customer walking their way. Then they scatter like roaches when the light comes on. They are rude and pretty much force you to have to use self service as no other registers are staffed. Then your items set off the alarm because there is no way to deactivate anti-theft devices at self service registers. It's embarassing. This location remains the worst one I've ever been to. Tip: please don't need a key made

Jeff Howard: Great customer service. I was looking to match paint in a townhouse that is over 5 years old. I had an old paint can and painted a small patch on a piece of packing paper. The salesperson immediately knew the type of paint and the finish. He asked a few questions and fixed me right up.

kumar c: Good quality paint with unprofessional or undertrained staff. Two bad experiences in a month. 1. Wanted paint for ceiling, the associate responded pointing to a can without mentioning what it is 'We have only that base. Ask whoever sent you if that base is ok'. I responded 'You tell me if this will work'. Then the associate goes 'It does not work'. 2. Wanted a matching color in Emerald satin. The associate brings the paint mixed up in PROMAR 200 which is a lower quality paint and insists he can only match it up using PROMAR. He never asked me if it is ok to use PROMAR. Wish the staff is as good as the paint.

Monique Muronda: Excellent service and expert advice! We stopped in to grab some paint and noticed the young man Mario was working all alone on a Saturday. Nonetheless, he was efficient, pleasant and really helped us choose the right type of paint for our project. Jonathan Berman: One year later, perfect contrast with Home Depot. Needed to match a color for external wooden wood carving. HD had little support and a wall of a few colors. Sherwin Williams (SW) had a extensive wheel and I still bought two colors around the desired color so I can experiment and mix to perfection. Thanks Darren and staff. Also picked up all the related items (including respirator and safety goggles) and all at a good price. If you are serious about painting go to SW. The ingredients are aa small part of the investment but professionalism is priceless. Management please commend this Ashburn store staff. Despite covid and cleanliness provisions still hopping but served efficiently. Keep up the good work. Stopped by today as a walk in (was impressed that most of the other people I saw there were professional painters). My partner had a request that I match a color which was a 50/50 combination of two colors that she had painted some pine cones with (I had both with me). Unfortunately, one can not read a color from a pine cone so I called my partner and she mixed it and put it on a sheet of paper. By that time, I was dealing with both the assistant manager and the manager (both great by the way) and when I returned they matched the color and sent me on my way. As I had time during all of this, I caught up on how SW managers their retail locations and was impressed by the story, and even more by the enthusiasm of the staff (both moving up soon I expect). If you want professional advice at a fair price with a smile, go to the Ashburn Sherwin Williams. Don't be afraid to ask a question, the staff bent over backwards to help an amateur succeed with his quest. Keep up the great work - his location is a tremendous asset to the company..

Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

Matt Jepsen: Whatever you do, don't order online. BBB uses UPS Sure Post where UPS delivers to your local/regional post office who in turn delivers it with your mail. I'm a big proponent of the US Mail and I have no beef with UPS. But, they often don’t work well together and the handoff makes for significant delays. If you're going big box for online shopping, stick with Walmart/Target/Amazon or better yet, support a local business.

Patrick: The people working do not wear the masks appropriately - mouth covered, nose not. One employee was kind enough to put more disinfectant wipes for the carts after asked him to. Cool products and great place to get small sized items for travel.

I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!

The door was wide opened and I entered only to be charged aggressively by the 3 attending employees, shouting for me to exit. I had to calm them down of their excitement to reprimand me for entering the store. There was no indication that the store was not opened. No hours were posted ether. Then the older guy rudely and aggressively closed the door as I exited. He then snarkly stated “I guess!” When informing him that 8:00 was in 14 minutes. It was really disappointing to have to endure such rudeness in the morning.

Nathan Deunk: Very convenient location, and they've really improved the store since they moved locations. Unfortunately, Fragers employees and contractors consistently endanger the residents of the surrounding community by illegally parking on both 11th SE and Pennsylvania SE. I can't support a store that cares so little for their neighbors, especially when those neighbors are their customers.

John Seybold: Wasted a trip. They guy in the store told me that they don't sell samples of their own paint and that I'd have to get it from Lowes or Home Depot.

They are honest and do not try to upsell me like big box paint departments. Their quality of paint and the colors are amazing. Arun Aharam: Color Consultant service is great - $95 for a 90 minute in-home consult. The consultant was great to work with and we were able to cover a large chunk of the house... The only downside is now I have a TON of painting projects ahead of me! With it you get 50 bucks in a gift card, so it's really $45 for the service. Really helps to create a better vision of what you want to accomplish, instead of trying to figure it out while standing in Home Depot under different lighting. Must schedule and pay in store. In store facility is adequate. Large selection of color swatches, adequate amount of supplies options, fairly knowledgeable staff at the counter.
