Raymond Powell: Got charged $8 for 30 minutes of parking on a weekend day. There are other locations with free parking. The store itself is fine and somewhat busy. Staff are helpful and informative to help you find what you want. There are always sales coming and going.

Krista: This is an interesting shopping set up. If you park in the adjoining parking garage, you will be charged $8 for parking 7 days a week. I went on a Saturday evening for only a few minutes and had to pay $8 for parking. They should validate for more business because I won't be back.

HAPPY CRAFTY CAT: I was trying to find this paper pad at various locations in my area. However, online it says the stores in my area have them i go there and nothing. It has been two weeks and yet nothing. I was told to give it some days and i did. OFCOURSE nothing. I do appreciate the staff who went out of their way to look for it at the Wisconsin ave location. It seems there is a system mix up online as i found other crafty people have been looking for it too. The IT TEAM SHOULD FIX THIS. VERY MISS LEADING ONLINE WHEN IT SAYS WHAT LOCAL STORES HAVE WHAT IT IS THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND THE QUANTITY AND THERE IS NOTHING WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO PURCHASE IT. A'Jahan Love: Huge store and inventory. Their website is accurate for what's in stock and has the option to ship to this location. They don't have canvas stretchers or canvas rolls in store, but they do online. You can find varying sizes at Blicks store which will be cheaper by a lot.

Gwendolyn Young: Went here on 4/18/2021and found Easter supplies were 70% off! Lots and lots of it just taking up space. I did buy some Easter flowers and some other craft supplies. The don't have a huge selection of various wired ribbons. The did have some peach polka dots ribbon for $3.00 (Clearance), but I chose to wait on that one. They did have several $5.00 mystery boxes for sale, but some had been opened up. Their Clearance section in the back has been cleaned up tremendously! But I must say that they have much more beautiful flowers than the small Joanne's Fabrics that is located in Greenbelt Shopping Center. They do have some type of discount program but I truly don't know how it works. So, if you are looking for beautiful flowers, Michaels is the place. They also have a large variety of greenery! The store was almost empty when I was there.

Jessica Boada: Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

scmi7y: Not too good experience, they did not have any of the 4 things we came for. Also they don't sell graphic cards in this store. Staff was 50/50 some was very helpful and good attitude. While others seemed annoyed by customers getting in their way and asking "stupid" questions. Somewhat hard to navigate the store. And prices has gone up lately.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Cliodhna MacFadden: We purchased the Element 65” TV, and after 3 days the backlight broke. We tried everything to fix it. Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Jasmine Thomas: Mobile Tech Has A Rude Raspy Voice Lady Working There. Ms.Kathy Is Extremely Unprofessional & Doesn’t Know What She Is Talking About. She Lied & Told Me That An AT&T Phone Was Unlocked. The Phone Wasn’t Unlocked & I Was Trapped In A Contract. I Explained To Her That I Wanted A Unlocked Phone & She Insisted On Telling Me The Phone I Bought Full Price Was Unlocked, Yet I’m Getting Stuff In My Email Saying I Have A Contract That I Have To Pay Off My Phone. Her Attitude Is Stank & She Never Has Her Mask Up On Her Face. Columbia Heights Target Do Better, Her and Her Unprofessional Ways Are Bringing Your Company Down Tremendously. Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Kaila Gilbert: Good store, could benefit from more helpful signage 😂 idk throw a digital map on the wall or something. but even though I got vertigo/whiplash/confused trying to find a suitcase (they're on the 2nd floor in the wayback) no complaints and the people are good. Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

kara taylor: I normally don't go to this dollar tree because of the parking, but I stopped by for a few things and it was a really good visit. I found everything I was looking for, the line wasn't too long and the staff was friendly. This was my first time being given their stronger bags at check out. I am so glad they switched to the stronger bags. There have been times my bag would break or get holes before getting to my car.

Ruben Stemple: Shelves were very messy with many boxes stacked in the aisles. They may have just received a shipment or something. Also shopping carts loaded with things to put back on shelves. Lines were long and several customers were unfriendly. Parking lot is terrible. The one good thing is that the staff seems very friendly and helpful. Good place to get helium balloons for kids parties.

SARO in D.C: A colleague and I wanted to grab congratulations balloons for a company launch. There were two lines, one was waiting on the manager, and the other was long. As a manager came out from the back we asked about the balloons. Her reply was very rude, instructing us to wait till we got our turn at the register. As she walked off without resolving I need, Tiffany came out the back onto the sales floor and immediately seeing the frustration on our faces. She inquired about what our needs were that day, answer the questions and proceeded to complete our order. thanks to Tiffany, by the time we reached the register, the balloons were helium filled and we were able to get to the event in a timely manner!! It’s amazing how the store manager brushed us off and was unwilling to assist, but this amazing associate went above and beyond. Thank you Tiffany!

Miss B.: This store is randomly closed at any time. I went this morning @10A and make shift sign on the door said CLOSE. People were going up to and walking away when they saw the sign. Not sure what's going on. I took my myself to the Dollar General down the street. Paying a bit more there but it's for the convenience.

Al Edmondson: I like the store. Itz a lot of stuff there. The staff are usually pretty helpful in the navigation. . I think you should Fire Ann immediately. I haven't visited in a long time so she'll know who wrote this. I know she misses me. I'm just kidding 🤣. LOL No real complaints , the price is right...LOL...Whatever you go through there remember everything's a dollar.. Who gives a damn, as long as you can get it and leave. Jason Detwiler: The staff are always very helpful and pleasant. The problem there is its Very, Very Dirty. The floors are always dirty. The shelves are always a mess. The Windows and glass doors are as dirty as the rest of the store. Every Dollar Tree that I've ever been in, is the same way, DIRTY. Must be company policy. There are times that it not just dirty, there is a a foul smell to go with it.

Darrick Gilmore: Had item shipped to the store. The managers were helpful. Next time I will have items shipped to my home. I received an email to pickup the items at the store. The store had not received the items. I went to the store three times and finally the shipment arrived.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Hilda Kroll: It's a good time to shop with clearance signs all over the store. I ended up buying a bunch of beautiful artificial flowers for 70 per cent off. Very helpful and friendly service.

Sam Odle: Came here to get several items framed for my mom’s birthday, the employees were extremely helpful and the end product was perfect! My initial reaction was that it was a bit pricey but she absolutely loved it so I can’t complain.

Dark Rider: It smelt like toes and pickles that were saturated for 3 years and then put into a cheese box. I thought I head Ariana grandee but it was just my mother singing. L Z: BEWARE OF FRAMING DEPT! Do not have fine art pieces mounted here. They will ruin original pieces by using glue in the process which creates long term and permanent damage. If you ever wish to reframe a piece you will find that your artwork is glued to to the matting and frame rendering the piece unusable.

C Hamilton: Affordable items can be found in the clearance boxes. Clean store and friendly staff. Not like the Michaels I'm used to need more variety.

M. Torres: Very clean establishment with a two-floor setup. They have many things, but this isn't a very large Michael's, so finding what you need can be limiting. For instance, there isn't a fabric section, although they have a very small area with .5yd fabrics and smaller fabric sizes. The stars means okay, and not bad. It's just such a limited selection of things compared to it's competitor that I wouldn't come here for anything.

Nicholas Crawford: Great store. Lots of great deals. Love the two floors. Sophia at the register was so kind and patient. She was all by herself with a line and a phone that she was responsible for answering. She juggled all of her responsibilities very well and we greatly appreciate her attitude. I do not appreciate that she was all by herself and responsible for answering the phone on a busy day. You should staff more employees at the registers. Sophia handled it well but she shouldn't have to do it all alone. It's not fair to your employees.

Sassy Sauce: This store opened a couple years ago and it’s always nice and clean. The day I went after work the store must have just received a truck because there were boxes of product on most of the aisles. But this store is generally very clean and organized. This isn’t a normal sized target though, it’s definitely smaller and has more of a convenient store type feel. But all of the normal Target staples are still there. There is parking under the store and it’s accessible using the escalators or elevator. There is a Starbucks as well. It’s a great store to visit!

Amreen Shafiuddin: poorly managed target.. no one knew answers for anything. customer service was poor. stocking issues in all the aisles. boxes everywhere.. the food items especially bread section don’t have best before stickers on them. when questioned, they just saw each other faces. poorly managed.

Tracie: Pros: Near my home. New store. Available parking structure. Decent customer service. By decent i mean - I haven't had a negative experience with the customer but no one has gone above and beyond helping me. Cons: Generally feels empty. Yet every time I enter the store i notice staff are in the middle of restocking and have crates of things in the middle of the hallways blocking the pass way. This was even before covid so not sure whats going on (pictures shown from Dec 2021). Also, doesn't appear to be a parking attendant so anytime anyone lost their ticket, their is chaos trying to get out. Finally, prices seem a little higher than other targets, i get the sense that because its smaller things are limited and maybe marked up? Or maybe its just inflation and the whole food chain/ports being a hot mess.

Mysiki X Valentine: Whoa! Let me begin on a positive. There is a cashier (older Black woman) Joan, who is the most pleasant staff worker. However, the younger staff can often be found tucked away on phones, having side conversation and etc..so finding help is always difficult. In addition, the customer service could never be described as friendly. But it does not end there, this is one of the worst Target’s I’ve ever went shopping. The store shelves stay empty. I recently order Beats headphones online for pick-up, I was emailed saying my order was ready—but when I got to the store the manager cancelled my order, stating the item was not in the store. Long behold, I walked to the back and there sat 3) pairs of the same item I came to pick-up. Her attitude was out of this world, I couldn’t believe she worked in customer service. No matter what time of the day, the aisles have carts full of products yet to be put away. Makes the store seem chaotic and disorganized. If it’s a quick stop, I’d advise going elsewhere. Looking to do serious shopping, never stop here. To end on a positive the food section is normally well stocked and presented nicely.

Kareem Carter: Lets start by saying I am appreciative of having a Target in this area of DC. The parking facility is safe and well lit, the store was reasonably stocked and clean. My gripe is with the professionalism of the management and the completely ineffective way they run the checkout line. they funneled everyone through one line and when several customers skipped the single line and went straight to the register, they were allowed to do so.....causing frustration to the other customers in the line. This was brought to the lead employees attention and she sarcastically dismissed my frustration. They should really signage up on how the checkout line works!

Erin Truax: I have been to this Target a few times because it is the most convenient for me (and parking is easy) but I always leave feeling very frustrated. There are constantly boxes of inventory waiting to be unpacked that are blocking the aisles and many shelves are often missing product. I have shopped at different times and on different days, but this seems to be on ongoing issue for this location. If you’re able, I recommend a different location.

J Por: Went in for some quick toys for my nieces and nephew. Turned in to their Loss Prevention racially profiling my partner, and followed us around the store the entire time for 60 dollars worth of merchandise, part of which, we had to find an employee to get. We initially went in to make a return, and unfortunately had the idea to shop the last bit of our list. Workers letting people (guy in a blue hoodie was wearing a red shirt so possible employee?) walk around without a mask even though DC has a mandate, and the stores inventory is always in the way. Should have been more concerned following him to give him a mask instead of two people who were in your store less than 25 minutes. Overheard an employee talking about managers asking the team to get tested because of a potential positive employee. Overall, the worst experience I’ve had by far. I’ve been a consistent customer for three years, but no more. This location is best avoided. Trust me.

livingmytruth 2: Joan has the best customer service ever. I came in this location with my 98 year old grandma and she made my grandma feel sooo good and proud and she really has a positive attitude. Thank you for making my grandmother’s shopping experience so pleasant . I will actually make this my home store now because of her pleasant demeanor

Aaron Blackmon: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to a Walmart that is all red and has Target signs? Well wait no longer! This will fit the bill. The validated parking is a mess. The store is never stocked but simultaneously stocking everything at once and the lines are NEVER open. I only went there after learning my initial lesson months ago because it’s so close and I wanted to get a few things but even still it wasn’t worth it.

Chris Todd: The staff inside the store were friendly and helpful. However, the parking attendant was about as useless as a square wheel. I wanted to recharge my car. The sign in front of the chargers read "See attendant to activate". This dude was just sitting in his car. He refused to get up and wave whatever card he needed to wave to unlock the charging station. He didn't even acknowledge me other than saying "Uh". I tried activating the station with my SemaConnect app, but the station was locked out. I'm sure this Target is great, but I wouldn't come here in an EV because the dude who runs the chargers can't be bothered to get out of his car to do his job.

Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

The staff was very friendly and helpful because I am in a wheelchair they offered to help me with items I couldn't reach.They had a variety of all kinds of foods and beverages. Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

Connor Black: My friend is a former employee at this establishment and I decided to post this on their behalf to protect their anonymity. First off, HR is prone to scheduling shifts at horrible times with little regard for the time you will have between shifts. Now this could be fixed if HR was more present and was available to talk about shift scheduling and issues that arise from how they do it. Secondly, the General Manager is very aggressive with their style of management. They often are talking down to people and attempting to single them out for ridicule or to give attitude to. They also have zero regard for a worker's wellbeing or health, instead putting the business before the people who have to make sacrifices for it. If you ever do call out and the GM answers, be prepared because she will try to gaslight you and talk you out of whatever your legitimate reason for not being able to come in is.

Portia Massado: I was a former employee there and the reason why I left was for a career choice and also because of the GM Jemima Canage. Jemima Canage is THE WORST GM to work for the company. Target is her LIFE and if your in school or have a second job PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. Control freak YES she is. Jemima will over work you and will not give gradititude in return unless your a male that work in her store. She talks very mean and nasty to associates like they are nothing to her. I even had an incident where she yelled and charged herself at me like I was a child. It made me very very upset and if another manager wasn’t present I would of lost my job for walking out due to Jemima poor management skills. I even had customers come in and complain about how rude and mean she is. She also like to try to undermind people like they lack common sense. She recently fired someone for no apparent reason at all. She forced that man to come to work sick after expressing that he wasn’t feeling well. And he called the ambulance for himself just to prove to Jemima that he was sick. And in the process of her firing one person she lost 8people from that store. Even her ASM left because of her, 3LPs, and 4 associates. And right before I started 6months ago the original associates that were there had already gave the new people the rundown of Jemima Canage and how much they hated her and how she acts towards her employees. She doesn’t onow how to humble herself or treat people with REPSECT. She demands it then earning it or giving it back in return. And the nexr person she raises her voice at WILL NOT be as nice cause trust me I was VERY VERY ANGRY about it. Please get rid of that bad engery in that store. I feel sorry for all the people that are still there.

Kerry Delf: Small but fairly well provisioned food section, with both snack foods and some home groceries, heavy on the convenience foods. Prices are high but better than other stores in the area. Conveniently open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays, in an area where other stores close at 9 or 10, but it closes earlier on other days of the week. Free parking with store validation. Downside: Service was sparse and heavily dependent on self-service—there were no employees on the floor helping customers, and of three employees around the checkout counter, only one was operating a register, quite lackadaisically.

Peyton Doyle: Great small format Target in a really accessible part of Cleveland Park (and just steps from the Metro stop). Impressed with their selection of fresh foods. Nice home goods section too. Unique underground store. Really friendly employees! I will certainly be back.

Daniel: Right off the metro so it's convenient, not to mention, definitely bigger than you'd think. They took the investment of digging underground for the store (kind of like their NYC Tribeca location) and it definitely paid off. Validate parking when you leave since there's a lot attendant and a gate... no joke. Prices upscale for the location, but they had what I needed and would probably visit again.

Lindsay Cooper: Purchased baby food online that was listed as in-stock. Received notifications that it was ready to pick-up. My husband went to pick it up and not only did they not have our order, they didn't have the product in stock. My husband then decided to purchase other items while he was there and was followed closely around the store by security so much that he had to ask the person to back off. I called Target HQ and they confirmed that the order was ready for pick up. I'll be going back to Amazon after this experience.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: It is Very nice and very clean. It is small in size, but they've got everything from groceries to clothes and electronics. It is conveniently located near the red line Cleveland park metro station, and bus ( L1, L2) stop. when you walk in this location, it looks like you're at a duty-free shop at an airport. It is also a quick 5 minute walk from the zoo.

M P: Free parking but you MUST get your ticket validated in store. Great for quick Target run. You can always find helpful employees and if you don’t see what you are looking for ask and they’ll get it in stock. Great manager. Super clean store. Perfect location.

Melanie Rocha: Store manager is racist. Some lady came and said the most racist remarks to 2 women of color and the owner heard, stood back and did absolutely nothing. Police were called and owner got very defensive and did not cooperate to allow them to make a complaint.

Joshua Perry: It's on the smaller side for a Michaels and can feel cramped around the holidays when there are extra displays. The size of the store also leads to a lack of options in some of their supplies. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful. The stock seems to vary very frequently and they often have disorganized or nearly empty shelves.

I went to make a return without a receipt and gladly accepted the fact that I could get a store credit and that my ID would have to put into the database. My intention was to get items with the store credit that I could use. Instead I was lied to by the manager on duty Katy that Micheals “could no longer process returns without receipts”. So I checked online for the in store policy and I called the corporate office to confirm the info I was told and neither source could confirm this information. It turns out Katy told a bold face lie. I shop with Michaels very often and I chose this location specifically because of the customer service. This experience has done more than sour my thoughts of this business and location. I have filed a formal complaint with the corporate offices.

Mark Sandel: A nice and clean michaels, but every time I have been here, it seems to be understaffed. There was one cashier for a line that weaved - I got what I needed in 5 minutes, then spent 10 in line to check out. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and helpful - make sure you check online for coupons!

Browner Gwendolyn: My first time here was during the holidays. I was not as enthused about my visit as others. I did not find what I was looking for. The rest room was awful. My daughter paints and she did find a few things, she needed for her next painting event, she was pleased. Items were to pricey, if you ask me. Check out was great, the cashier was courteous and knowledgeable. I will visit again soon, during the off season, to see if I feel better about shopping here for crafting items.

Imani Armstrong: I got there at 7:40 in hopes to pick up a few quick things. I was locked out by the security guard along with at least 12 other people because they said they were closed. When we replied it's only 7:40 and people are still in there she said sorry the manger said we are closed because there are a lot of people in there. There were no more than usual. I did look into the window. This is really bad business.

Janice T: There was a big crowd at Dollar Tree today. It had plenty of Valentine's and St Patrick supplies. They were all so ready for spring gardening.

c hanson: They have a good selection of products MOST of the time. If they don't have what you want (& if it's not out of season...) just wait/ask abt the next truck delivery date. The staff are pretty friendly except maybe the "transients" who only stay for less than a month. They are not ratchet, unless customers are rude. Quality is hit or miss, but pretty darn good overall for a dollar 🤑

Edward Holman: I’ve been coming here since August and they are rarely ever stocked, even when the website says items are in stock. Target needs to find a better way for the in-store inventory to better communicate with the website inventory and keep the shelves stocked. I don’t think it’s a individual store problem, rather a problem with Corporate. I will rate this Target 3 stars because of the floor associates. They are always nice and go above and beyond to help out. Kudos to them!

Yessenia C: This location is conveniently closer to my home than other targets however their product availability is limited. I believe this is an express version of Target. They have small electronics, clothing, market, and home sections. The health, beauty, personal hygiene section is pretty large. Once you know what they do and don't carry it's easier to know what you can purchase there. But it's always clean, good customer service.

MAC Cover: This review deals only with drive up services at Georgia Ave. and Eastern Ave. store in Washington, D.C. Due to a physical impairment another collects my pick up orders. I would not be writing this review if the incident happened once but several times is too much to handle. This location isn't set up for drive up because they constantly leave items out of your order but charge your card. Either Target has someone working drive up who can't read, see, or both. Recently, placed drive up order for paper towels and other items. Got notice from app order was ready which included the paper towels. When order arrived had all items except paper towels which was a huge disappointment. Okay called customer service to make them aware of the hiccup, paper towels were included in total order, charged to my card, but not with my other items. As usual, phone rang and rang but no answer. Finally, customer service answered next day. I explained about missing paper towels, gave order number and got no help. It was like talking to someone from outer space. Young lady said I had to prove I ordered the paper towels. I told her it was a drive up order, gave her my order number, and advised her that store could pull up my order as well. Got no where with customer service, asked to speak to manager, didn't happen, so stressed, had to hand phone to another to talk on my behalf. Still don't have paper towels I already paid for. Not only do they leave items off orders, they stuff a bunch of heavy items in one bag making it awkward to carry. Please check your bags before leaving this location and if you want to avoid a stressful drive up experience, shop Wheaton/Westfield mall location, much better. Target is still my go to store but not this particular location for drive up service.

Dimitri Ivanoff: It's about 1/3 in size of regular Target. Has a fresh produce & meats section, basic grocery items, cleaning supplies plus some clothing, beauty, electronics. Right now (April 2021) mostly serves on-line orders & curbside pickup. Parking is at the back of the store, but there's entrance from Georgia Avenue. Self service at this entrance almost empty while one at the back has waiting line. Pricewise it's inline with Giant, even some groceries could be cheaper.

Dorie Kane: This is a "mini Target" so keep in mind you can't expect it to have the inventory of the large stores. That said, I go there for essentials and typically find what I need (including hair care products which many have complained about). Staff - including security - are overall nice and helpful. Like another reviewer I did find they were unable to place an order for me - I needed a different size and wanted to apply the credit to an order. They have me a refund and I placed the order myself online. I guess there are some things smaller stores can't do but I do like this one for its convenience when it comes to basics.

Janice Temple: This Target Store is well-lit with wide aisles. I went there on a Sunday evening. Some of the shelves were empty from Saturday shoppers. I wanted to buy Figi Water but they were sold out. I am impressive by the organic selection of groceries. The parking was plentiful the day and time that I went.

SW: Neat small Target. However the security there is awful!!!! Everytime I’ve visited there is a security guard (man with National jersey) following me and whoever I visit the store with. I live in the area, so I frequent this store a lot. Mind you he is not clever with the following. He straight goes to whatever aisle I am in. This makes me not what to use this Target

Bryan Cortez: Don't understand the negative reviews? This is a smaller Target, of course you won't have everything you have at a regular Target - but it has all the essentials. Need milk? eggs? chicken? They have it. Need a spare shirt, or pair of pants? They have it. Need some airpods? Need a spare controller? Maybe you need shampoo, or medication? Target has it. They have all the essentials you need all in this store. Seriously, if you want to know if they have something before you come - use the Target app, it'll be your best friend on each Target Run. This store was definitely needed in the area! Prices are very fair, compared to other retailers nearby. Very clean, organized ---- and the best part are the employees - Very helpful!

dontec H.: I was just in my neighborhood store to purchase Goodfellow t-shirts. My preferred size wasn't available. I went to guest relations for assistance. She called over a Manager for assistance. I asked if he knew when the t-shirts would be back in stock. He said the store didn't do the ordering. The company sends over inventory based on their sales, etc. . He said one pack would be sent over in L in a few days. I needed medium. I asked if the Store Manager was in store. He let me know the Clothing Manager was on duty. The clothing manager came over and I explained my need for a medium size. He went to check the shelf. He returned to let me know that the item wasn't on the shelf and is a high theft item. He then said he doesn't know when they'd be coming. He was talking to me very loudly to the point that other customers could hear our conversation. I asked him when the Store Manager would be returning. I let him know that he was speaking to me in an elevated tone and I was standing in front of him. He then said that he was the store manager. Target has employees that lie and render poor customer service to paying shoppers.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

tommy chance: Returned a pair of sneakers i just received from my order online. Never wore them they were too big. The guy examined the shoe for about 5mins then passed them off to a woman who did the same. The shoes were never worn whatsoever. Then she tried to tell me she couldn't give me cash back for whatever reason which i knew for a fact was not true because the only option wind up being cash back anyways. It was like they were trying to find any reason not to accept my return. I won't be shopping here again.

Amanda Jorge: Be careful with what you consume from this store. I bought a m&m chocolate candy there yesterday and it was expired. The expiration date is 01/2020 🤯 I love dollar trees that’s why I’m extremely disappointed :( Make sure you check the expiration date before buying any food from there.

m rivera: This dollar tree has recently opened and I think it is a great location. There’s free parking and the store is big to hold a variety of merchandise. The employees are very attentive and do their best to keep the store organized and fully stocked. My only concern is that there are some customers who grabs items and make a mess by pulling items disorderly or leaving items behind in random spots. If we want to keep this dollar tree looking nice, everyone has to do their part in keeping the store organized. I am grateful to have this dollar tree in my neighborhood and want to keep it for the long run. I gave it a 5 star because this the third dollar tree in DC that has free parking, fully stocked items (food,seasonal items, party stuff, etc), and the employees are friendly.

Vacations Come True: Glad for the closer location. Staff super nice especially ten minutes to closing. Google had close at 10 but marked out to 9 for close on the door. Mist have been a change in the past 6 weeks since store confirmed hours.

S.M. Barnes: This was my first time visiting this location (King St/Rt 7). I can say there was a wide array of balloon choices🎈and the prices 💰 are comparable to what I'm used to paying. When it came time to place my order, it was nothing short of disorganized chaos😳. There was no clear cut line, people just inserted themselves wherever🤬, thereby cutting in front of others who were patiently waiting⌚ their turn. Each of the sales associates looked to be around high school aged and every last one was wearing their mask 😷 improperly... mouth👄 covered but pulled below their noses👃. There was one cashier working and the line of customers wrapped around the store. There were a couple of associates ‍♀️ standing around and finally another cashier opened their register. By this time, I was just ready to pay for my order💲, grab my balloon and leave👋. Hopefully, I can find another store in the area and it be a bit more organized.

Eliza Jay: Yea, it’s a no for me and why does the store smell so bad. They don’t honor policy. Stop selling stale candy to customers. You sit around on your phones all day the LEAST you could do is making sure your stuff is up to date.

David McGowan: This place is so poorly organized with kids running the balloon shop. If you ever have the misery of having to deal with this place give yourself 5x whatever time you think you should be able to just get balloons. Expect to walk out defeated, questioning what you're doing with your life and miserable staff attitude for an added bonus. Management doesn't care bc people keep coming back, like ourselves, because of location and a cornering of the balloon market? Really miserable place to ever have to step foot in.

Debra Bou: I came here on a Friday afternoon and it was a very busy day for them. The girl assisting me was very patient with me. I came to pick up balloons for my friends sons birthday and tried making decisions on which balloons to get. Went back and forth to inflate or not and ended up inflating all of them. Walked out spending $78 on about 10-12 balloons and luckily fit in my truck! Lol. Before I drive off, I had to double check I got all the balloons I paid for and luckily I did because I forgot one! When I went back in, I brought the receipt with me just in case, and the line was so long down the aisle way... I had to sort of shout to the girl who was busy and told her She forgot to give me one of the balloons and she was very apologetic about it. When I got home, one of the foil balloons lost a lot of air and deflated, which I was upset about because it wasn’t cheap! But in the end, the girl assisting me was very patient even tho it took me 2 hours to figure out which ones to get! So it was fine! :)

However, staff was not wearing masks and in this pandemic with so many patrons that descend on this store, I would have felt much more comfortable with my shopping experience had.they been wearing masks...and I don't mean Halloween masks! Otherwise, this shop has most everything you need for a party and,.as usual, was fun to visit!

Carla Ferguson (Your Bon Viveur): Party City usually carries the items that I need and many other creative decorating items. The prices are reasonable and I love the new ability to use curbside pick-up for your fast on the move orders.

Patrick Gregerson: This is my neighborhood Party City store. The most popular items in the store were the helium balloons. I was able to find the items I needed, but the selection was limited for adult birthdays. I was trying to find birthday items for a friend celebrating his 70th birthday, and could only see a handful of products worthwhile. If you’re celebrating a child’s birthday, you’re in luck, there’s a plethora of fun products to choose from.

Lauren F: I ordered something for same day in store pick up. Plus side it was ready in less than the estimated 2 hours. However when I arrived to pick up at the designated pick up area as directed in the email I received none of the employees acknowledged or helped me. I had been waiting over 10 minutes and about 3 employees has passed by me without saying anything. I understand coming back from a break or being busy but a simple "we'll be right with you" or "have you been helped?" would have been nice. I work in customer service so the service I received today by this store was frustrating. I know alot of places are short staffed or busier than usual but that doesn't mean good or even decent customer service should be thrown out the window. I ended up going through the aisle and purchasing another product similar to the product I ordered. I understand I could have done that to begin with but I wanted to try the in store pick up for the first time and to make sure I got my product.

Aimee Lagrave: I was looking for a few simple number balloons and they were easy to find. Unforchanatily the wait time was absurd. The line was not very long but it took an incredibly long time to get the balloons and then check out. It seems that they have the staffing and the opportunity assist customers. However of the five employees I had in my sightline only two, we're offering assistance in any capacity.

Karen Smith: Found everything I needed in one trip. The sales associates were not only very helpful, but very available and plentiful; which, doesn't happen much these days. I didn't realize how much I missed a well organized craft store until I came into joann fabric's.

Life with Kia: Following clients around the store. Manager was really rude. Denied our purchase for 20 minutes. Treated people of different races differently. Locked us in the store. I will never come back to this store., there are plenty of other Joann fabrics to shop.

They even locked us in the store! Who does that?! They said that it was so no body else walks in… how are we supposed to walk out then? Make it make sense. No sense = nonsense. They were even talking about my friends and comrades in a different language so we wouldn’t know what they were saying. Very disrespectful and I’m very disappointed in this store.

My-Self S: Miss Keneisha 10+ she was amazing , I drove all the way from Virginia to the store, sense that was the only store that was showing that has Cricut mugs available. When I got there I could not find any on the floor. I passed by Miss Keneisha and ask her about it she told me everything was at the front. I when to the front and the cashier said there did not have any. I when back to the website and it still was showing that there had 16 left. Miss Keneisha saw me looking around and said that she will help me after she is done with a customer. Few sec later she came and ask me to show her what I was looking for, after that she checked again and said she will look in the back sense she could not find any on the floor either. She left and few min later ,came back with a big box of all 16 mugs. I was so happy I was jumping out of the joy from inside. What I want to say thank you Miss Keneisha for going out of your way to help me find the mugs. I appreciate it so much.

Bri “The Mezzo Maven” Cooper: I started going here holiday season 2020. I ended up buying my entire holiday decor from here! The prices are great! There is always a sale! I love that the collections are very unique. I should mention the sales associates. One time I wanted to make a hat for a high tea. The sales associate asked me a few important questions "have I done this craft before?" She had the best shortcut idea and it looked AMAZING! The other day I was in therr for fall crafts and guess what? IT WAS STILL FALL!! Great selection and again the sales rep was very helpful and friendly to all of his customers.

Shelbi LUCAS: This one is a bit messier than the other Joann's I've visited. It is one of the smaller ones. Though, I've been to a small one in Ohio and they always seem to have it together. Also, it seems the person at the register (may be the manager) kept my coupons that print out with the receipt.😕 Just so you know this one is inside the mall and down stairs. So there's two mall entrances you can use to get to it.

Don Couts: Out of stock on tons of items especially balloons for some reason. When I asked associate when they might have more stock available he said that wasn't his job so he didn't know.

S A: Please beware that a portion of your online order may not be available at this store. When the portion is unavailable they may provide you with what they think is an appropriate substitute without informing you ahead of time. This happened with my order that was delivered with the wrong colors. From other reviews, this is a recurring issue under the current management with Lauren. The solution by party city was for me to return the order to obtain a 15% discount if the delivery person returned it or 20% discount if I returned it in person. This wasn't initially made clear as I had to call the store again to find out why I had not received any refund. The "policies" for what party city offers when THEIR employees make a mistake are absurd. Why would a customer want to drive to the store to return balloons when they were initially ordered for delivery? There is also no guarantee I would get my order when needed if I sent it back by the delivery service. Had someone called me before sending my order out, this would not be an issue. Supposedly, I will receive a refund per Lauren in 3-5 days. In addition, someone else mentioned in a review Lauren hung up on them. While she did say bye, it was an abrupt hanging up as I was mid sentence.

Aurelie Boissy: Place has great stuff for party at affordable price but customer service is not as good! I was looking for an item and two workers kept sending on the back alley instead of helping!

Miss Williams: Management are terrible don’t care about complaints. The staff are even worse. Orders are NEVER ready so I’m not sure why I’m given a pick up time slot when items are ready or they can’t locate. Absolutely worse so I take my business to the Rockville location that’s out my way and never have issues there.

Caroline Godwin: Terrible experience. I put in an order 4 days ago for curbside pickup today. Ordered NYE decorations, confetti poppers and balloons. My husband went to pick up today, balloons out of stock (got several messages they were ready) had to settle for some balloons they picked for us, confetti out of stock, no replacement offered, no email notification. I called the store, she told me they were out of stock since I put my order in and I had likely not been charged! No notification, the confetti were on my invoice when I ordered. So instead of curbside pickup, my husband had to go in to purchase confetti, and was offered the box that is 3 times the price of the ones I ordered. He was told he was getting a discount, but he still paid $12.71 instead of the full $12.99 + tax price. I am beyond angry. Very poor customer service especially for a store in the "party" business!!!!

Angela Jackson: You have a bunch of kids working at your locations who waste customer time. If you can not fulfill an order then tell your customer you are canceling when you call, do not say you are going to partially fulfill an order then turn around and cancel it. Do not say you are coming right out with product if you canceled the order. Completely unacceptable and THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Learn how to communicate or shut the store down. YOU DESERVE ZERO STARS.

noga ibrahim: I’d didn’t have a great experience like the one I had at this store in a along time. The manager, Lauren, and the lady on the cashier were super amazing. Here is what happened. Me and my kid went to the store at 930 pm and it was closed. My son gets all upset because he wanted to get his Halloween costume. He is crying and I am trying to calm him down and promising him that we will come back in the morning, but no luck. Lauren came and was locking the door asked me what is going on and I told that the closing time on the website is different from what they had on the store front. She apologize and ask me to come in the morning and told me that she will give me a discount. She was sweet to my son as well.
