Cafe Citron: what do users think?

Ed: Good vibe and good food. Definitely a place I will visit again, staff is friendly and music is great. After 9:30 pm the vibes gets better. Recommended

Gerald Mansfield: Had a wonderful time here last night celebrating a bachelorette party with a couple of our girlfriends, we had no idea that he shows existed at this location. Now that we have attended the show at this location for the bachelorette party last night and had their food, we will definitely be back. What a hidden gem

sol sol: the food is good and the place very fun.

Marilyn Sanin: Amazing night scene, owner is spectacular! Great drinks, music, and lively crowd! They even have a smoking room upstairs! Love this place, fave club in DC

Michael John: This establishment is extremely racist and did not let my friend in because he is asian. DO NOT go here and support this racist bar. Find somewhere else.

Bossa Bistro & Lounge: what do users think?

Comely Weirdo: very dark and dirty place, waited for my food for very long, but they made a cocktail for me as a compensation. glasses and plates not clen. food is very good. improve smell and cleanliness

S S: A small space with limited seating. But this club is known for the featured bands, so dancing Salsa and Bachata is what you’re going to get! There is an upstairs which opens around 12 midnight and had a pretty good female DJ which I thought was excellent! She played reggeton and a mix of other music. There is an extension to the back where there is a decent sitting area for a less than noisy experience. Let’s talk about the crowd: a mix of young and mature, mostly young hipsters. I came across several rude patrons, who apparently the phrase excuse me is unknown. The bouncer in front is nice and the bartenders were ok. There was only one who seemed to know what she was doing. $10 cover charge for a subpar experience. The crowd is the reason for -2 stars. I’ve been to better Latin clubs.

Anita Hinnerichs: A great place for authentic Brasilian cuisine, excellent live music and dancing to Latin music salsa, bachatta, merengue, samba and more. Saturday nights are my favorite, but every night has something different and full experience to tantalize all your senses.

Disha Vyas: Great ambiance; excellent music. Must visit if you are looking for a fun night weekday or weekend while in DC. We plan to go again.

Alice Ramos: The most fun in town! Connect with your latin roots through the best music and joyful people.

amir naimi: This place has awesome live music on Saturday by the amazingly talented Jorge and his band . Small not crazy busy environment and very enjoyable .If you’re in dc it’s a must see

Rahma Hejja: Cozy place, arts all around you, great atmosphere, had delicious food (shrimp + Salad) for $24 , it was Saturday, they had live music, two bands, once finished around 8:30pm the other started around 10:40pm, Ok I am not bachata or salsa dancer, went there with no partner, but I found a space to dance and have fun with my self, as usual 😍 Ok I don’t drink so I can’t tell you about drinks there, also don’t expect a huge menu of food, what you saw in pictures here you will see around you with people if you go there.

THE SALSA ROOM: what do users think?

Yahanna B: F••k this place. I’ve NEVER been treated so BADLY in my life. Security took my jacket, car/house keys & phone from our reserved table; I begged them to return my things but the security men all treated me very aggressively! They ran away from me & kicked me out club, in the BLISTERING cold!! I couldn’t go home or call the police! I was mortified and crying for help, no one cared to help! After about an hour of walking aimlessly, to find help, and eventually get home (since all of my items were taken by security) a tall heavyset, dark skinned African American security guard drove up to me and dangled my items in front of me, as if I were some sort of criminal. All he had to do was look at my ID but they were treating me like I stole something. I can’t believe this happened to me!! I’ve never been treated so bad in my life.

MO. B: I went to the Salsa Club on a Friday and it was a great experience. I got tickets off Eventbrite it was free entry before 11pm. It was a group of 4. When we got in the door and checked in we were offered a table for $40 which was a great price. Once we got in the set up was very airy and they had a very good set up of tables and couches. One thing I liked was at the tables they had electronic menus as well. Once we got our drinks the general manager Damien actually came by and offered us a bigger seating arrangement with no extra charge. Which we greatly appreciated and it was just great customer service after the night we had prior to coming there. The staff was friendly and the people there were great. Everyone just wanted to have a good time everyone was smiling it was just great to be out. The music was great as well. I went to the salsa club when you were located in arlington and I like this set up better. I will definitely be back! Thank you for a great experience.

Niesha Anderson: Came here for the first time for the salsa class. My group and I got a table and I requested a cup of water from the sever. The server returned and said they don’t give cups a water. I was so confused because a place that serves alcohol should never deny a person water. I asked to speak with the manager John and he said if I don’t like it I can leave. I have never in my life experienced that type of treatment. I do not recommend this place. They need management that has more customer service skills.

Cheli: Watch your tabs! I’ve been charged for drinks and tips that I did not authorize. My friends and I are often ignored by the women bartenders who would rather serve men first. Annoying. Getting a table here is a joke too. My party and I never got through even half our bottle because our server was never there! It got to a point that we had to split up and look for her, and then also call the manager. Arrogant people, terrible customer service, and ridiculously overpriced. Go somewhere else.

Baby Moretta Jackson: The place used to be a classy place grown and sexy folks could go have a nice dance. Last night I was disgusted when my waitress walked up to us in a thong body suit and no pants. PUT SOME PANTS ON! I’m never going back to this sleazy trashy whole again.

Jorge Del Carpio Arispe: This place is wack. Won’t give water without paying $6. My friend said a woman in the bathroom wouldn’t give her soap unless she paid her a tip. Are you kidding me? Soap? In a pandemic? What a stain on northern VA this place is. Also, if we came with a partner, let us learn the class with our partner.

Yari: I loved it. Went with my husband (date night) was so much fun. Ladys free till 11. Good security. Learning classes (for fun) on the dance floor with instructor around 9ish was bachata night last night. Everyone was nice. Drinks were a little high (2 drinks for 25$) ....but overall just loved it.... 👍😊

The Salsa With Silvia Dance Studio: what do users think?

Summer Brouwer: There’s a reason why they have 5 stars! I never had the luxury of attending dance classes. I just moved here cross country and wanted to try a new experience. I was very hesitant, and very nervous, but I bought the new student pass for $100. The pass allows you to attend unlimited group classes for the month. It’s about a week into the session and I am in love with dance! They have many different instructors and many different styles of dance. I felt at ease learning with other students of my skill level and the energy of my instructors helped me feel so comfortable as well. If you’re on the fence about whether you want to try it or not, GET OVER IT! I love it here and you will too!

Reema Bhardwaj: Salsa with Silvia is THE PLACE TO BE. Whether you’re looking to improve your dancing, rent their beautiful studio for your private event, or bring your kids for an experience. You will leave feeling satisfied and happy that you took the step to come in. There is a reason this studio is the #1 Latin Dance studio in the DMV. You can feel the love that was put into the studio from starting out in just a basement to two studios! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The teachers are patient, understanding, and energetic. The adult dance classes are always so much fun and filled with great material you can take with you. They even allow videos to be taken so you can look back to review. And the owner Silvia, she is a boss lady. Very friendly, helpful, and fun. If you’re looking to have a great time with your friends, learn, teach your children dance, or have a private event, come here & don’t waste your time calling other studios!

Zey: Salsa with Silvia is more than a dance studio. Lots of magic happens there. You’ve got all the basics- amazing instructors, good variety of classes in style and level, a professional business, and a safe and reliable environment. In addition, you learn how dancing is about much more than just moving your body. By joining the studio you enter a community, so you meet amazing people and make new friends. The owner Silvia is always engaged and she is always willing to help. I have been going to the studio for about 2 years now, and the instructor I have taken the most number of classes with is Joffre. I always had a thing for salsa, but he is the one who really made me love it. Joffre is technically very competent, and he is also a great teacher (which is not always a given). He is also a warm and genuine person, who is very open to feedback. And as a bonus, he has the best taste in music, I learned the best songs/ artists I know from him. In short, if you are interested in entering the world of latin dancing, SWS is the place for you!

Marcia de Jesus: I joined Salsa with Silvia in its Georgia Avenue location in January of 2018. During the first 5-6 months of 2018, I was at the studio pretty much every weeknight and all day on Saturday. The studio offers an unlimited-class plan, and you bet I signed up for that and took full advantage of it. My plan of taking as many classes as possible in a short amount of time to improve my dancing skills fast was one of the reasons why I was at the studio all the time when I first joined. The other reason was the people I found there – and they are the reason I keep going to this day. Incredible human beings have worked at SWS over the years, who have helped me feel comfortable as I engaged in a new and at times challenging activity. Among the front-office people, I must give a shout out to Gary. For a long time, he was the face of SWS for me, the person I reached out to if I needed anything. I miss you at the Georgia Avenue location! Among the instructors, I’m sorry for picking favorites (all instructors are great in their own way), but Joffre has always been my guy. Not only is Joffre a very good dancer, but he is also an excellent instructor. He knows how to break down and explain the moves (including teaching how to respect personal space and make sure nobody gets hurt while executing moves); he meets the students where they are (skill-wise) so nobody feels discouraged nor bored; and he tries to make sure everyone is having fun as they work on their dance skills. I felt challenged in Joffre’s classes, but also reassured whenever things got difficult and potentially frustrating. He has certainly helped me become a better dancer and I am grateful for that! Finally, SWS is the place where I found a safe, fun, open community and made very good friends. SWS has become a part of my life, a place I associate with happy things!

Darniesha Beach: Took my 2 year old to the babies dance class and the teacher was great. Very good with little ones and my daughter took to her immediately. The class was empty just 2 little ones including mine... but she still managed to fill the time and make it fun. Everything was very clean and location is nice if you want to make a day of it. My only complaint is the time; my daughter has to skip a nap to attend. She was super cranky so I don’t think we’ll be back until a different time slot is available or she no longer needs her afternoon nap. A class between 9&12 or at 5 would be cool.

Habana Village: what do users think?

Adam Farrell: We were just walking by, and were immediately enticed by the fun salsa/latin beat, savory aroma and fantastic vibes pouring out of this establishment. When we saw their happy hour selections, we were sold (5-7pm!). Outstanding Piña-Coladas, Mohitos, and Margaritas confirmed our anticipation, delicious and only six bucks. $3 draught beers, more fantastic music and THE BEST fried yucca were also enjoyed. This place is so fun, affordable and the kitchen is one of the most professional in the area. Mario was the most welcoming of bar tenders, as he happily explained the menu, their story and some of the dance classes that are offered (prior to covid). We felt safe being served outside and will be back FOR SURE. Especially for some dance lessons! P.S. for the authentic cuban experience, finish your meal with a shot of aguardiente! Delicious!

Madison Dull: This was a wonderful experience. the food, service, and music was incredible. The food was authentic. The service was perfect they were around the perfect amount. Mario, the server, was very attentive and made wonderful drink and food recemendations. It would be a shame not to dine at this restaurant.

Kezia M: Went here for my friends birthday! They were timely in getting us seated after being a bit late for our reservation. The staff were very nice and sincere. Absolutely loved the food! Took a little bit to come out but it was well worth the wait. Some of the best plantains I’ve ever had! Their rice and beans... chefs kiss. Will definitely return whenever I make my way to DC again!

Bryanna Dankers: My boyfriend and i went here a few times and have always had the best service - the food was very good (especially the ceviche) and the mojito’s! The server was very welcoming and a pleasure to speak to! Will always come here if we want Cuban cuisine! :)

Jocelyn Ponce-Lopez: It was our first time. We loved it. It was a late dinner yesterday Saturday at 10:30 pm. They welcomed us and the manager served us during dinner. We had the guacamole, empanadas and the Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was a real Cuban, like my mother’s. The music was perfect and we had a great time. The place was spotless, everybody wearing masks. I highly recommend this place.

Elizabeth T: This place was a great choice to go to! We ordered the nachos and they were fantastic!! It’s such a nice place to go and enjoy dinner and a drink. I felt right at home and they were very attentive. They sanitize their glasses and I was very happy to see that during this time! Everything was delicious. Make this a place to go and visit soon!

Bravo Bravo: what do users think?

Joaquin Perez: The bouncers are rude, especially the woman in the front who can’t take confrontation. They had us waiting for an hour in the rain- just to charge us even though we were in the guest list. Don’t recommend and they are racist as well. They use a lot of racial micro aggressions towards Latinos.

Saul: Literally this place is filled with a bunch of high school kids who dresses in Adidas or Nike track suit and yet they advertise with half naked women.. They’ll overpack this club (good luck during a fire). Bartender charged me for 5 shots when I only ordered 1 lol Big L on this place. Save yourself the headache and go to cafe.

ana montiel: if you are planning to go to this spot WE don"t recommend this spot. its whack like crack, like whitney houston, old and ugly. security think they fbi or cia with low caps jajajajaja. sooo if any one looking to hang out, drink and have fun. This spot is the worst, go up the street.

Alejandro Andrade: Music was great and the crowd as well. A couple of security people are rude and on power trips, same with the bartenders. I dealt with two male bartenders, once at the entrance was nice, the other one on the way to the bathroom was an a$$hole.

Nancy Montiel: I was in the restroom and security was trynna kick me out for being in the bathroom….. and when we stuck up for ourselves they kicked us out. RUDE ASSSSS SECURITY DONT RECOMMEND

J F: Seems like a fun place, but experience soured by power trip bouncers out front and near the restroom that treat guests rudely. Cafe Citron down the street has friendlier bouncers if you care about that kind of thing.

Brianna Fremont: This place is not it. Waited in a long line for nothing. Their cover charges do not make sense. If you are a guy and you have dress shorts on you will get charged double on top of whatever cover charge they choose. Also, if you are someone who has a vape pen of any sort they will throw it in a covid infested bucket that is sitting on the ground, over flowing of 1,000 other pens but don’t worry you can pick it up when you leave.

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar - Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Da-Wang Wu: One of my favorite restaurants in DC. The interior design is pretty cool, and the ambience is great. My favorite is the seafood soup, very flavorful with lots of seafood inside. During dinner time (after 4pm), they serve toasted bread with mango butter, super refreshing flavor! Chicken croquette, fried yuca and empanadas are all very good. Guacamole is beautiful decorated but not the best one I’ve ever had. Paella doesn’t feel right, pretty wet. Churro as an ending dessert to be meal is a great option. Reservation might be needed during peak hours.

Vikram Seshadri: Loved the music and the ambiance was very lively. Amazing vegetarian and Vegan options. Must try the Mojitos, Yuca fries and the Plantain chips.Had to call ahead and reserve a table and the restaurant was super busy on a weekday but was definitely worth it.

Abby Fasehun: Loved the ambiance, felt like I was on the street of Havana. The Empanadas Was really good, forgot to take a photo of it, but overall, food was great. Customer service was top notch. Oh and the music!!! Got me moving the whole time. I’ll be back.

Michelle Edgar: We spent years in “little Cuba” in Hialeah FL, so we are pretty well versed in cuban food. This was stellar! Drinks were strong but flavorful. My husband and I got the mixed grill to share and it did not disappoint! If we come back to the dc area this will be our first stop!

CLUB ELEVATE: what do users think?

Kristal “Kick it With Kristal” Bartley: This was a very nice vibe for Poetry on a Wednesday night in DC.I love the lights and hookahs! Limited parking.Street Parking.Security.Clean.Limited Seating. Multilevel. Art. Outside seating. I’d come back.

erik rodriguez: I was traveling to see a old friend of mine from high school I had big expectations for the capital of the United States, being that I was only gonna be in town for only 2 nights I was hoping the one night we could go out would be a blast, unfortunately the could be further from the truth. First the bouncers were VERY rude to us and for most of the people in line to the point were there could’ve been an altercation between us, but we tried to not let that ruin our night, thinks only got worse from there. We requested a table before hand and pay a good bit to get it, turns out they couldn’t give us the table because they apparently already gave it to another group, things could’ve be fine if we simply got our refund but unfortunately that wasn’t the case, after pleading our case over and over with to the management we decided to leave CLUB ELEVATE to go to some bar down the road before heading back home with this bad taste in our mouths. Would not recommend this place even to my enemies. Thumbs down

terry: When I was 10 years old I had a dream. A dream so vivid that I woke up frantically from my bed, and ran to my mothers bedside crying. When asked what’s wrong all I could muster was “they robbed me”. To my surprise, it almost seemed like dejavu when I realized Club Elevate refused to refund me for a section I never used. $600 is what I paid. $600 is what I will never get back. All I can ask is that as someone reading this review, as someone who is considering attending such a terrible establishment, please “elevate” your standards and go elsewhere. I leave you with a quote by Winston Churchill and he said “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Even without the $600 in my bank account, I will continue to live, I will continue to prosper. But I will never, and I mean never, stop hating on Club Elevate. In other words, DONT COME HERE.

Shukriyyah Greaves: This place desperately wants to be an upscale club but for the amount of money I rather go to echo stage or 9:30 club . They want you to pay 5 star prices just so they can serve you drinks out of red solo cups. The booths are falling apart dingy like an old dennys. The door person or whomever they are was in sweat pants collecting payment like she rolled out of bed. Can’t enforce a dress code if your staff looks homey. The bottle service girls are cute , bartenders are great and can make a decent cocktail. The owner is oblivious cheap so this club reads cheap which is unfortunate. Don’t plan on going back here, this felt like a last stop for minors or a place for kids because they didn’t really card and the standards are appropriate for such . We had fun dancing. It was a good crowd, felt safe, the woman to man ratio was about 4-1 which is a bonus anywhere ! Just had the plastic cup situation and the cheap furniture…like come on, and of course the bathroom was disgusting and probably only gets cleaned in the morning.

Malick Dakama: A bit disappointing 😞. The place is a bit expensive for the overall quality of the place. The DJ was all over the place and letting people down in the middle of good songs; not if he was noticing the empty dance right after each time he does that. But the staff was very nice. Elevate can do better!

Byron Medina: Absolutely worst establishment in the DC area, stole $600 from me and after being promised a refund has been terrible to communicate with as he hasn’t responded to me. Wish I could leave zero stars and never come back ever again.

Flash: what do users think?

Michael Jaffee: Unlike any venue in DC and unlike majority of lounge style intimate clubs you’ve been to in the US. The music is incredibly unique for DC as they play deep house, tech, tech house, and other amazing sub-genres and the initiate dark setting with the [flash]ing lights is like nowhere you’ve ever been. It’s an absolute must if you’ve never been or are visiting DC and are trying to go vibe/dance the night away.

Aránzazu Ascunce: State of the art with a massive function one sound system. Multiple levels. Amazing lights, service, hospitality, staff. Global deejays regularly. Shout out to the booking agent. Come as you are. Not pretentious. The only rule is no flash at Flash. Highly recommend it to get your dance on and a pulse on the global underground. See you soon!

Ayesha SH: This is a hardcore EDM club. They have the rooftop, second floor and ground floor. The night I was there, all three areas had different DJ’s. You have to buy tickets on the website to get it - reasonably priced. Very decent crowd. The manager is Boris and he is awesome! Please visit and you will love it.

Denonte McKinney: I hope management reads this because coming to Flash was absolutely the worst experience ever. First of all, they made us stand outside in the drizzling rain until nearly 1:30am because we didn’t purchase a ticket online. The security guards rationale was, “Because of Covid we have to monitor the number of people coming in.” This does not make sense because masks are NOT required for admission, people with tickets are able to walk in without proof of vaccination, and they let everyone in anyways. Making a crowd of paying customers wait 1-2 hours for admission into a BAR is ridiculous. Also, they only have a CASH admission. In 2022, I need for this venue to upgrade and get a card reader, outside ATM, or cash app because the ATMs in the area are closed after 5pm. Yes, the bank ATMs (BOA & WF) close their doors at 5pm. You have to walk BLOCKS to grab cash and to come back. Lastly, the security guards are rude. They were shouting out, “If you have a tickets you can come right to the front, and if you don’t then IDK what to tell you” to the 50+ people waiting in line in the drizzling rain, this was inconsiderate & inappropriate. Mind you the security guards at the entrance are eating pizza, smoking cigarettes, and completely disregarding the crowd. My suggestions for management are: 1. Allow ALL paying customers admission into the venue. Do NOT make them wait in the drizzling rain for 1-2 hours when there are BARELY people going inside with a ticket. 2. Let customers pay via CashApp OR allow paying customers to use their cards/Apple Pay to purchase tickets at the door. It’s 2021. 3. Do not use Covid as an excuse to not allow people in when you’re going to let them in regardless. 4. Hire new security guards. I am very disappointed in this venue. Hopefully by next week they’ll at least have CashApp.

Charles P.: I love this place but the girl working the ticket booth at about 10:45 on 3/25 couldn’t believe that I didn’t realize it was an offsite ticket for Pot-Pan. She was pretty rude. I get being worn down by the end of the night, but to be in such a way 45 minutes into her shift was impressive. Or depressive? Muuuuust be rough. Not for her. But for the people who have to work with her.

Louis V: Great place to go out and dance. I met a lot of nice people and had a lot of fun. Music was awesome, drink was excellent and not so expansive.

Fern M: During this pandemic time, Flash has turn its rooftop space to a sit down place for Electronic music lover. Reservation is required for seats with 90 mins time limited. Same regulation of wearing mask, remain seated etc. are applied. Sandwiches menu are added along with drink menu. It seems like drinks were customized for fall season, we tried all the cocktails on the menu but only 2 we like( don’t remember the name.) It was ok, we were happy to help support the place and at the end of the night, we ordered our favorite drinks out of menu instead. The staff are super nice and attentive, ask them question regarding to the venue if you want to know more. The merchandise downstairs is for purchase helping support the place. Ask staff for the website or if you have problem access it like I did, they accept cash. They said they might open for brunch with live DJ on set. If we all keep supporting this business, I’m sure we will get to have one of the coolest brunch place in DC soon. Review as of 09/2020

Nicholas Caudill: Maybe it’s my fault for showing up too late, but if the doors open at 10PM and the headliner is already gone by midnight that isn’t a real party. Cool building though

Salsa With Silvia: what do users think?

Tara Jeanne: Went for a Saturday night Salsa Social. Great floors, nice open studio space. A little small. It was Salsa only on 1. A little bachata mixed in. A lot of beginners.

Jorge Guzmán: The place offer a variety of dance classes bachata, salsa and others. They offer a good price if you a get the unlimited package. They offer diferent levels of classes which is very helpful if you need to review steps or improve your skills. I am very satisfied with the classes.

Myriam K: Amazing beginner to intermediate dance studio. Great prices and even greater community. I made life long friends here.

Sarah Nakib: My family and I love this place. We love that my daughters 5 and 8 can be together for camps and we have done great birthday parties here. Silvia has been great to work with. Keep up the great work!!!

Madison Richter: Love the classes that they offer! Mario was a great instructor, he was amazing with helping create our first dance for our wedding. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and welcoming place to dance.

Jazmyn Snelson: I’ve been a part of the SWS 4 Kids program since the very beginning & have had the amazing opportunity to see it grow. It’s been such a rewarding & magical experience. Instructors are so invested in their classes & students, students not only learn but are challenged & make friends in class & at camp, and parents LOVE the end of semester recitals. Couldn’t imagine a better place for the whole family to visit, make friends, learn some dance moves, & genuinely have a great time! 10/10 would always recommend!!

Jean Poitevien: Excellent instructors and 2 locations makes it convenient

Karina Perez: I took a plan with 4-week lessons. It was fun. I enjoyed it. During COVID times it’s kind of annoying to have the mask on but the class is not cardio heavy so it does not feel unbearable. It’s possible to do it with the mask on. Also, they check your temperature as you enter, there is hand sanitizer, you don’t have to touch anybody if you don’t feel confortable in dancing moves. There was barely any other classmates if that even, so it was really private lessons for me. I’ll plan for more classes in the fall.

Greg A: Great date night with an awesome instructor,

Ultrabar: what do users think?

Angela Mendoza: I went to ultra bar recently and had a much better experience than before COVID. This club has really stepped it up, it’s not over crowded by 18+ and the music has an actually updated set. I love that I can choose the music I want to hear based on the floor. Be sure to visit them all to get the full experience and if you want a really good time you might as well get a table, they have decent bottle pricing for the area. Bottle girls there are really nice, we had Katie and she made sure we had fun.

Fernando Bernardus ABT: Love Ultrabar! Great music and atmosphere throughout the multiple levels of the club. The mixed drinks and their first-rate line of imported beers are top notch and fairly priced, considering the fact that this establishment is located in the heart of the nation’s capital. Getting a table is extremely affordable and I would recommend it if you come with a big group of friends. Security is on point inside and outside the club. It’s simply the best 18+ club in DC. Special thanks to Jimmy, Giuseppe, Galen, for always providing my friends and me with courteous customer service.

Alexander Zacapa Centenario: Ultrabar happens to be among the best clubs to party in DC. The establishment has four floors with different music genres played by talented DJs, and the overall atmosphere is always entertaining. My friends and I have enjoyed table service on multiple occasions and we’ve always had a fun time. The customer service from Jimmy Mar is absolutely exceptional, I consider him a tremendous asset to Ultrabar for many reasons, as well as the entire staff who are always very welcoming, friendly, and professional. This place also has outstanding security inside and outside the club in order to ensure the safety of its patrons. It is well situated near the Verizon Center and Constitution Avenue. Check out their pictures online showing how crowded and lit this place is. It is truly amazing on so many levels. Just make sure to look your best by following their dress code. Be ready to have a good time! In conclusion, I strongly recommend Ultrabar to anyone looking to have an enjoyable night out.

Alex Gonzalez: Perfect place for those who want a bit of everything. Sometimes I get tired of hearing the same type of music so it’s nice to be able to just switch floors to get a different atmosphere instead of having to go to completely different clubs and wait in line again. It gets packed but the bartenders are really friendly so they make the wait for a drink enjoyable

Angel Long: Went there Saturday for one of my buddies birthday. The stairs are a killer but the top floor is jumping. VIP service the way to go the floor was a bit crowded for me. Our waitress took care of us she was cool and brought girls to our table.

Brittney Vo: Always a good time when you come here! I’ve always had a good night coming to ultra. The music is up to date and I love the variety they have. Each floor is such a different vibe and my favorite are the latin and hip hop floors.

Tianna Chantel: This club is super cool! It has multiple floors and they each play different music so there’s a vibe for everyone! The service is fast and all of the bartenders are hot! Highly recommend!

Stephanie Trelles: I came to visit Washington DC for the weekend for Easter. My husband and I went to Ultrabar waiting in line for a little over 30 minutes just to get to the door and staff checking ID told my husband he was not allowed in because he had sneakers on. When I asked how come if every other male there had sneakers on and it was never mentioned in the dress code online. He responded very rudely and very unprofessional. The experience would have been a lot better if staff would have treated us fairly. I would think twice about attending this nightclub.

Xinyi Yin: The atmosphere, drinks, and music are great! They have a variety of different music on each floor, so you will not get bored of the place. Love the bartenders, they are super friendly and fun to talk to.

La Cosecha: what do users think?

Millie Kwan: This is a great space for Latinx businesses such as home goods boutiques, wine/wine bar and gourmet grocery, food stands and restaurants. There is an upstairs lounge as well as outdoor seating. Even the indoor space is a large open space and it is not crowded like Union Market making it easier to navigate during the pandemic. Would have liked to try more than one of the food stands, but well go back again. Beautiful space and do highly recommend.

Tania Abraham: What an amazing experience, space and open market/food court. La Cosecha is the perfect space for doing some window shopping, actual shopping, grab a drink, and/or grab a meal. I was genuinely spoiled for choice with all the great options… So I sampled a bit of everything from the various restaurants! Nothing was a disappointment & I ended it with a Cafe Con Leche Paleta from Jarabe Gourmet Pops!!!

Nate B: This is a nice place. There are several good places to get food or drinks. It is very clean and people are friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

John Huegel: La Cosecha is an urban destination and attracts a lot of young adults as well as some older folks like me. A dozen or so proprietors sell trendy food and drink and a few other things. My wife and I were attracted by the Argentine Tango group that holds an introduction to Tango lesson and a Practica on the loft level for experienced dancers on the fourth Sunday of each month. A great place to dance on a Sunday afternoon. We travelled there from Delaware just for that.

Daisy Gutierrez: The new drinks inspired by Selena songs are amazing!

KIMBERLY THOMAS: Always a great time and great food! Definitely recommend. The food and drinks are perfect. The service is even better. Ask for Maria! She’ll take good care of you!

Laura Garnett: This is my favorite market in the whole of DC. You can find the best Latin American food, wine, and artisan shops. I purchased this new ear cuff here, made by indigenous women in Colombia. We need more of these personal, diverse, and authentic cultural venues, especially in the "click-and-buy" world we live in.

K A: I found this hidden gem in D.C and I couldn’t help but check it out and I didn’t regret it. It’s filled with so much culture and art along side nice restaurants, a wine shop, a coffee shop(Unido) to mention a few. I particularly loved checking Nova Bossa out. Such a beautiful shop with quality items. First time here and I would definitely revisit to try out some great delicacies. I highly recommend this contemporary market to all art and food lovers and also it’s a must visit to all locals and tourists. Opera Ultra Lounge: what do users think?

Denise Morris: Fun place the music selection is a nice mix of hip hop r&b Afro beats and a bit Latin but def they feel the audience .. bathroom ls are typical for the club… we had a section and it was cool

Eboni: Definitely enjoyed myself for my sisters bday party!! The place was JUMPING🙂

Jayla Green: I got a table here about 3years ago & paid over $800. The bouncer came to kick us out of the section because we wasn’t keeping bottles coming. I would never support this club again.

Nicole Johnson: Went here on Saturday and it was sooo packed you couldn’t even see the lay out of the venue! And it was $40 per person for a cover charge!!! I have been to WAY better clubs in Vegas & Miami and never paid that for a cover in my life! Not worth it!

April: First time partying in DC this place is amazing I definitely recommend for a great night out

K B: Service is terrible. Bouncers are rude. Hookah is electronic. I will never come here by choice, just when invited. I only gave it two stars because the inside looks nice.

The Palladium: what do users think?

George M Cruz, Sr: I’ve only been here once, last month right before Valentine’s Day, and I had a blast! Great music! Great environment! Great dance lessons! It was moderately busy, but I found this to be a plus. Call me boring, but I’m not a huge fan of waiting in long lines for a drink, not having anywhere to sit, or not having any room on the dance floor to show your stuff! 😃 As a local, small business owner, I support any business who tries to grow and improve! I’m definitely going back! Hope to see you there!

Michael Morris: this facility a first nice impression ,but as night went on i felt the people dancing did not comply with covid-19 regulations. did not wear mask and no ventilation . for they allow hookah. the smell made me ill. was not aware they allowed this. although the food was not to bad and the bartender was very nice

StarSurfer Night Sky: I have nothing good to say about this place. They made us wait outside in the cold. My guess is that they were pretending it was crowded as there weren’t that many people inside. They took away tables and barstools. Terrible sound system. Drinks were served in plastic cups. My margarita was a 6 Oz glass full of ice and I paid 9 dollars. No toilet paper in the girls bathroom. A friend was charged different prices for a Corona unless the difference in price was because he asked for a glass of water with his first order. I think the setup is more suitable for a yoga , Pilates , gym or CrossFit. Looks more like a warehouse with a bar. I did not eat there. Some of my friends liked the food. They claimed to be sold out but I did not see a big crowd. Needing a ticket to get in and then pretending to be sold out to later advertise tickets available for $20 sounds pretentious.

Charles Wilkinson: The Palladium is a fun, happening dance club that’s for everyone. I’ve been there a couple times and had a BLAST. The waiters are very good and it has a great vibe. It’s above place but still has an intimate feel. They have a nice Sunday brunch with free salsa and bachata lessons. Pretty cool idea!

Chris Cooper: They said the doors opened at 7:00. Some people paid $20 for tickets. At 8:30 they kept making people wait. They would mutter something about the fire marshal. When they finally let you in (a coupe at a time,) you expect to see a huge crowd. But, there are only coupe dozen people in a huge place that holds hundreds. And, there no sign of the band that was to stast almost an hour ago. And, they continue to make people stand in the cold. I think they think is good for their image. Everyone is ticked.😳🔥

Public Bar Live: what do users think?

Alexandra Spataro: This place is so fun and lots of different beverages to pick from! Going during the day Saturday was a good choice! It seemed like a couple events were going on where people were celebrating something and getting bottle service so that made the place have even more energy (bubbles, signs every couple of minutes, DJ, beach ball thrown, etc). Only con is that the rooftop deck is not stiletto friendly, ladies you WILL get your heel stuck between the planks; you have been warned. Cheers!

Aziza Nabila: Love this bar! We had so much fun on the rooftop on Saturday. It’s definitely a vibe and one of the BEST HOT SPOTS in the city. The staff was so friendly and service was great! Get a VIP table so you don’t have to wait in line. The bottle girls are the best and know how to party. Tables sell out super quick so reserve them early or they’ll put you on their waiting list.

JW: Empty dance floor inside and bouncer at the door was rude - required individual masks for each party despite NO ONE having masks on inside. Place had an empty dance floor on Saturday night (10-11 pm). We went to Mayflower instead and had a much better time. Get some new bouncers if you want to have any business.

Diana Bermudez: Good place for games but gets super, super packed. Try to reserve a table if you can.

nohemi garcia: Been there on Sunday , mix music.🎶 not a big place. But you can Dance and have fun. Prices on drinks are fair enough. 🍸 bartenders working hard there and provide great service.

Lisa M: Got completely scammed by this place and our whole friend group got robbed while inside the club. We got a VIP table and it was not worth it at all. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Music was mediocre and there were way too many people to do anything but stand still. There are much better places to go in dc. This was our first time going and it will definitely be the last. We ordered some bottles then immediately got kicked out and they let tons of random people in our sections. This place SUCKSSSSSSS.

Omar Hamad: This is a fraudulent establishment. To say they have a lack of internal coordination and customer service would be generous. They need an organizational facelift with new and somewhat competent management who can at least give the appearance of relatively caring about their customers. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Juan Varela: Music and vibes are incredible. One of the best spots to party in DC. Lee and Mariah are two of the best I’ve met in the hospitality industry in any city! Wish there were more places like this in DC and more people at bars and clubs like Lee and Mariah!!
