Quincy House: what do users think?

Timothy Nerozzi: Would give 5 stars but someone on staff goosed me in the hallways to the bathroom and yelled something about the Traditional Latin Mass.

Noah Sell: Epic night club with good smokes. The dog Gus Garvey is very fun, he likes to dance. They burn incense to shrines of Saints.

Charles Dorfeuille: Great Noodles! atmosphere might be a bit religious sometimes, but if you can great past that its got a lot of charm! indoor and outdoor seating available!

Cameron Veilleux: A vibrant Latinx community

Soundcheck: what do users think?

Giles Peng: I visited this club recently to hear some DJs I hadn’t heard live yet. Overall, it was a fun experience with a friendly crowd and very danceable music. I got there early, but the line to get in starts getting long between an hour or two after the club opens. The crowd was trendy and more than a few club-goers were quite good dancers. I’m sure to visit this club again for the intimate dance floor, nice selection of drinks, and the DJs spinning music that kept the crowd going on a fairly high fidelity sound system.

Katrina Marie: Overall experience was 8/10. DJ was pretty good. Staff was RUDE all over. (Edit): and apparently this is common after reading other’s experiences - especially women. Staff -10 👎🏽 I have worked for other Live Nation venues and have been to other Live Nation venues in other major cities and this one was the worst. It’s sucks how rude employees can be the only negative thing - it takes away from an overall great experience. But cheap tickets and decent show

Rob Garcia: 10/10 hands down. This place rocks and is a venue staple in DC. Headliners come through weekly. Staff are super professional. Lighting and sound are off the charts good.

Alice Yoon: One of the security guys outside was so rude and got me confused w another asian girl (ignorant). I asked to stand next to the heaters outside last night for a minute before my uber arrived and he said “no you put yourself in this position so you can freeze.” I was really confused as to what I did but he kept saying I was “banned from echostage(?)” and that i had “snuck into the venue” somehow. Definitely got me mixed up with some other asian girl, and didn’t take my word for it when I told him I had never seen him before in my life. Extremely rude and ruined my night
Response: Hey Alice- If you could please email matt@clubglow.com, we can further discuss this situation.

Anjie: Meh, not worth a $30 cover. Outside staff and bathroom attendant were nice, professional. Bartenders slow and rude. They definitely pick who they want to serve and when. They look right past you as you are standing there and help someone who just walks up. Not sure if they are friends or regulars, but if you want tips or to stay open, you should treat newcomers just as good. Not to mention, with the exception of the staff, and MAYBE 10 guests, nobody was wearing a mask. A socially responsible club would enforce this mandate.

Abby Johnston: Terrible experience, specifically with the outside security- one of the bouncers was incredibly rude to me. The music they were playing inside was just not good. The place was also half empty and overall boring. Not at all worth the 30 minute line and overpriced ticket to get in.

Greg Czechowicz: I am giving 2 stars, but if it wasnt for the vaccine cards fiasco I would give it 5 stars. This was an vaccine card mandated show, but NO ONE asked for our vaccine cards. I even wanted to show but they said its ok, no need. If the goal is to keep people safe, why let everyone in if you say there is a vaccine mandate? Now on to the positives, great sound, but a bit too loud. Definitely need ear plugs. Drinks well priced, security kept an eye out for drunks and fights and did a great job.

DC9 Nightclub: what do users think?

John T: This dive bar is awesome! In the summer you can relax on the 3rd fl rooftop and laugh at everyone waiting in line for the "popular" bar across the street. In the winter they have small indi bands on the second floor. Great concert space. Staff has seen it all so be respectful!

Katelyn Stenger: Intimate venue and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend if you can! The tickets were shockingly affordable and the folks at the front actually checked vaccination and ID. Much appreciated.

Jessica Strahin: Went there for a small intimate concert. Loved the venue and the staff!!

Robert Cardoni: Great intimate show space to see smaller up and coming bands ... only hold about 150 people - so sold out shows are tight. Staff is super friendly. Beer is cold. Sound is good. What more could a music fan ask for Check set times though. Sometime shows are early with dance parties afterwards ...

Omny Miranda Martone: I love DC9. We go here regularly. The bottom floor is a typical indoor bar, the second floor is for dancing, and the top floor is a rooftop bar. Definitely recommend.

Stacey Brooks: Little but intimate. TTNG played twice here and it was a laid back experience. Bar on every level, food always smells great, bands perform on the second level without it being over crowded! Great place to rock!

Joe Nicol: always a good time, the best unofficial gay bar in DC — great acts, cool space

Chris B: 150 person capacity venue means you can get up close to the bands but shows usually end pretty early and the beer list is not impressive by any means. The food is pretty good tho, and be sure to get their garlic fries as a side to whatever you order.

Daniel Cox: Great place for live music. It is a really small and intimate venue which makes for a much better experience. Bouncer was really nice, drinks are averagely priced, and overall a good experience. Would come to a show here again.

Èl Check: The AC was not blowing on the upstairs. $450 for bottle of Hennessy and a table! No vibe but played current music! Girls work hard. Nothing or no one stood out! Only name I remember is Miami....b/c she started with a private Dance wearing sparkle pasties and g-string and finished in her birthday suite... She made one of our ppl fall in love! (IN MY T-PAIN VOICE). Customer service was good. Definitely a mix of ppl and ages!

Lily Rose: This is my last time at this club. We were told the cover was $40 ($20 each) and then we got there and the door person said $20 each, but some guy came out and said it was, actually, $40 each. We asked for a lap dance. The dancer said it was $20 and to get a stamp at the bar. The bar said it was $50. The dancer said, "No, $20 but you have to get a stamp." We left. We only spent 1/3 of the money we planned to. Had they not been hella shady they would have got their $50 and thensome.

Toya Bates: The girls were Gorgeous!! There bodies were amazing…. It was a little pricey But you get what you pay for!! We will be coming back Again..If your in the city looking for the baddies THEY ARE HERE😍

Brian Baker: Came here years ago and was cool with paying the drink minimum. Now they want a $25 cover and a THREE DRINK minimum and it’s 8:00pm on a Thursday. You talking spending $55 without even tipping a lady for a dance. Don’t even want to think about what they charge on Friday/Saturday. I had to bail. Im sure the ladies are still top notch but I couldn’t pay it.

Emmit Walker: I have been here 100 times and each time feels like the first time. There’s always new girls there, and they all have the same agenda...MAKE SURE THEY SHOW YOU A GOOD TIME. All the girls are gorgeous, dresses well, and they put on a show. My favorite girl is Juicy and if you’ve seen her perform before then you know it’s for obvious reasons, but if you haven’t get there ASAP any Friday or Saturday, and enjoy the show. There’s always about 30 girls there working the weekend days so you have a lot to choose from. The drinks were a little high, but the hands that pour are heavy. I am here tonight, on a Thursday, just passing by, and wasn’t aware that it’s $3 Thursday’s, so all drinks are $3 tonight. Bottom line this place is all purpose when hanging out with your boys, or date night with your lady (my ole lady comes sometimes with her girlfriends).

Tierra Smalls: Called prior to coming and confirmed that they closed at 4am for Memorial Day weekend. Showed up at 1am, paid $40 per person and they closed early at 2am. The music also sucked.

Flash: what do users think?

Michael Jaffee: Unlike any venue in DC and unlike majority of lounge style intimate clubs you’ve been to in the US. The music is incredibly unique for DC as they play deep house, tech, tech house, and other amazing sub-genres and the initiate dark setting with the [flash]ing lights is like nowhere you’ve ever been. It’s an absolute must if you’ve never been or are visiting DC and are trying to go vibe/dance the night away.

Aránzazu Ascunce: State of the art with a massive function one sound system. Multiple levels. Amazing lights, service, hospitality, staff. Global deejays regularly. Shout out to the booking agent. Come as you are. Not pretentious. The only rule is no flash at Flash. Highly recommend it to get your dance on and a pulse on the global underground. See you soon!

Ayesha SH: This is a hardcore EDM club. They have the rooftop, second floor and ground floor. The night I was there, all three areas had different DJ’s. You have to buy tickets on the website to get it - reasonably priced. Very decent crowd. The manager is Boris and he is awesome! Please visit and you will love it.

Denonte McKinney: I hope management reads this because coming to Flash was absolutely the worst experience ever. First of all, they made us stand outside in the drizzling rain until nearly 1:30am because we didn’t purchase a ticket online. The security guards rationale was, “Because of Covid we have to monitor the number of people coming in.” This does not make sense because masks are NOT required for admission, people with tickets are able to walk in without proof of vaccination, and they let everyone in anyways. Making a crowd of paying customers wait 1-2 hours for admission into a BAR is ridiculous. Also, they only have a CASH admission. In 2022, I need for this venue to upgrade and get a card reader, outside ATM, or cash app because the ATMs in the area are closed after 5pm. Yes, the bank ATMs (BOA & WF) close their doors at 5pm. You have to walk BLOCKS to grab cash and to come back. Lastly, the security guards are rude. They were shouting out, “If you have a tickets you can come right to the front, and if you don’t then IDK what to tell you” to the 50+ people waiting in line in the drizzling rain, this was inconsiderate & inappropriate. Mind you the security guards at the entrance are eating pizza, smoking cigarettes, and completely disregarding the crowd. My suggestions for management are: 1. Allow ALL paying customers admission into the venue. Do NOT make them wait in the drizzling rain for 1-2 hours when there are BARELY people going inside with a ticket. 2. Let customers pay via CashApp OR allow paying customers to use their cards/Apple Pay to purchase tickets at the door. It’s 2021. 3. Do not use Covid as an excuse to not allow people in when you’re going to let them in regardless. 4. Hire new security guards. I am very disappointed in this venue. Hopefully by next week they’ll at least have CashApp.

Charles P.: I love this place but the girl working the ticket booth at about 10:45 on 3/25 couldn’t believe that I didn’t realize it was an offsite ticket for Pot-Pan. She was pretty rude. I get being worn down by the end of the night, but to be in such a way 45 minutes into her shift was impressive. Or depressive? Muuuuust be rough. Not for her. But for the people who have to work with her.

Louis V: Great place to go out and dance. I met a lot of nice people and had a lot of fun. Music was awesome, drink was excellent and not so expansive.

Fern M: During this pandemic time, Flash has turn its rooftop space to a sit down place for Electronic music lover. Reservation is required for seats with 90 mins time limited. Same regulation of wearing mask, remain seated etc. are applied. Sandwiches menu are added along with drink menu. It seems like drinks were customized for fall season, we tried all the cocktails on the menu but only 2 we like( don’t remember the name.) It was ok, we were happy to help support the place and at the end of the night, we ordered our favorite drinks out of menu instead. The staff are super nice and attentive, ask them question regarding to the venue if you want to know more. The merchandise downstairs is for purchase helping support the place. Ask staff for the website or if you have problem access it like I did, they accept cash. They said they might open for brunch with live DJ on set. If we all keep supporting this business, I’m sure we will get to have one of the coolest brunch place in DC soon. Review as of 09/2020

Nicholas Caudill: Maybe it’s my fault for showing up too late, but if the doors open at 10PM and the headliner is already gone by midnight that isn’t a real party. Cool building though

Denise Morris: Fun place the music selection is a nice mix of hip hop r&b Afro beats and a bit Latin but def they feel the audience .. bathroom ls are typical for the club… we had a section and it was cool
Response: Nice partying with you Denise! Don't be shy and feel free to put us on to any music that gets you feeling yourself, we got you! 😉 We hope to have you and your friends back next weekend!

Eboni: Definitely enjoyed myself for my sisters bday party!! The place was JUMPING🙂
Response: It's cause it was your sister's bday! 😉 Lol it's always JUMPING, but you made our night that much extra, thank you Eboni!

Jayla Green: I got a table here about 3years ago & paid over $800. The bouncer came to kick us out of the section because we wasn’t keeping bottles coming. I would never support this club again.

Nicole Johnson: Went here on Saturday and it was sooo packed you couldn’t even see the lay out of the venue! And it was $40 per person for a cover charge!!! I have been to WAY better clubs in Vegas & Miami and never paid that for a cover in my life! Not worth it!

April: First time partying in DC this place is amazing I definitely recommend for a great night out
Response: Thanks April, come party with us again!

K B: Service is terrible. Bouncers are rude. Hookah is electronic. I will never come here by choice, just when invited. I only gave it two stars because the inside looks nice.

Black Cat: what do users think?

Nick Pascale: performed there with my band, The Missing Peace (check us out) and the staff was extremely nice to us and treated us with utmost respect despite opening for a huge artist. Also music venues normally carry a stigma of being stingy with their alcohol in their drinks but Black Cat served great tasting, well mixed drinks - best venue i’ve experienced in the DMV area!

Ramiro Pena: My past two experiences have been dreadful. They pack the place so full of people it is really concerning. I straight up got panic attacks from just how many people are packed in post pandemic. God bless them but I guess it’s just not for me anymore. It’s so hard to ascertain when the events held here arent packed with a huge huge group of people because besides that I’m sure there are worthwhile acts to watch. I remember one group that did a really cool interpretive dance I’m sorry for the low score but thats me and I think I’m going to add some keywords so that a certain audience can understand. If you have autism or anxiety this might not be the most accesible place for you. The last two times I have been here getting a drink or even approaching the bar has been impossible. The place was so packed inevitability people were rubbing up against me CONSTANTLY. Personally I can’t stand that. This place has pinball which is nice but last time the one machine had a flipper broken. I wish I could enjoy being inside this place but theres no where to sit most of the time I feel awkward walking in and just standing around, I can’t feel comfortable dancing because theres no room to move without brushing up against someone. I just can’t stand that. This is a personal problem but if you have sensory issues like that consider this an advisement

kevin jenkins: Had a great time seeing Flobots. Bartenders are great. Tip them. Well.

JW Francis: I played here on 4/19 and had a wonderful experience! Very cool room with checkered floor. Very kind people behind the bar and working production. Two thumbs wayyyy up!

Robert Cardoni: Mid size music venue hosting indie and punk acts. Space is long and narrow - so sight lines and sound can be off near the back but it’s still a great space. They recently downsized from 2 levels to one. Kind of sad but at least they weren’t forced out of the neighborhood due to gentrification. Bring cash. No credit cards accepted They no longer have food :(

Phantom Lounge: what do users think?

Patrick Murphy: DON’T COME HERE! Worst Club in entire D.C. metro area. Have both been too and held private events at many clubs in the D.C. area and this was by far the worst experience. Drinks were incredibly over priced, then hardly any liquor was poured in them, while they basically used sippy cups. Not to mention the automatic 23% gratuity, then having the bartenders ignore you if you don’t tip on top of that. Our group rented out the venue for a 2 hour event, and you would think if you pay to rent out the venue you would be treated with a little bit of respect and hospitality. Not at Phantom. The bouncers could not have been more arrogant and rude. I felt like I was at daycare or prison, I couldn’t tell which one. Save your money & time by not coming here. Go elsewhere in D.C. Worst place I’ve ever been too.
Response: We're sorry you had a negative experience we strive for a first class environment, please email me so we can rectify the situation. Jason.mccarther@gmail.com

Gisela R: I love the vibes here, but the prices they add to your bill are high. One of my bills was 60 in total and somehow got charged 30 dollars more on my card....

Junaid Siddiqui: Nothing special about the place. Similar to other venues/clubs in the Dupont Circle area., but they do have a small balcony area inside with tables overlooking the club. The $40 cover charge is somewhat outrageous. Most places with a cover around here is usually $20. That doesn’t add to the exclusivity of a place. There are amazing lounges all over DC that don’t charge. On a positive note, the drinks were nice.
Response: Mr. Siddiqui we're sorry you feel that way. Most nights we are open without cover. When we have big djs from around the world play we have a variable cover charge. Please visit our IG page for pre event pricing and details.

Kara Sorrell: One of the BEST night clubs I have been to in DC! My friends & I got a table and the cocktails were amazing! Never had to ask for anything very attentive and a great atmosphere! Definitely will be coming back and recommending to others!

Dhruv Garg: Julio and George are very supporting and very great customer service, they have a great care towards the customers.

David Carvajal: Only thing wrong with the place was the sheer number of people present. Took a while to get drinks because the bar staff were overwhelmed. Very nice nightclub overall

Anusha Balani: phantom is definitely my favorite lounge in DC. the staff is so nice & the bouncer Ty is so dope. we literally came here four days in a row. 💯💯💯

Echostage: what do users think?

Brian Copes: First time checking out this music venue space in DC. I loved the big space for DC standards. Multiple levels with plenty of bathrooms and attendants working the bathrooms too. Went to DC capital pride event and it was nice. Overall, plenty of staff to ensure your safety and good lighting along with DJs. It’s a great place to have a club night in the area.

Gavin Chen: Spectacular venue for electronic music. Strict security (goes through wallets). Free water if you walk up to the security near the stages. A lot of bathroom space available. Great audio quality and open space for dancing.

Charlie Butchko: It was awesome! I got to see DJ Diesel (Shaq) perform life. The bathrooms are very clean, with attendants there to soap your hands and hand you paper towels. As well as that, was close to the front during the performance and there was staff handing water bottles out to the crowd. I got a few drinks at the bar (tequila sunrise and 2 shots of vodka,) each were $10. By the end of the show it got pretty crowded, so if you’re claustrophobic make sure to mentally prepare yourself, or stay further away from the stage. All else aside, for sure gather a group of buddies and find a show you like to check out echostage!

Brian Keith: Great time. The staff were really professional and caring. I liked seeing how they were treating everyone. Make me feel welcome. I would definitely go back.

So Maryn: The dress code here for DJ events seem to gravitate toward “less is more” or think “beach attire”. Pants optional in the sense that bikini bottoms are acceptable as minimum bottom half. Shirt optional for some men. Beware of “bikini trains” moving quickly through a crowd. Noticed an innocent couple who got divided instantly by a train of arrogant bikini wearing club goers. If you don’t pay attention such bikini trains can step on your foot as they stampede you by. Forgot to bring my glow sticks but it was nice to see some colorful glow shoes and even glow fingertips. First level has an open wide space and second level has table service. Restrooms are easy to find and each stall has a note to remind those that only one person per stall is allowed. Once you get in past thorough security it’s not easy to get out as although exit signs are marked, where to actually exit from a lane perspective is hard to find. Parking is challenging near the venue and expect to pay $40-60 right next door. Echostage I thought you were a top notch global venue but you fell short when it comes to servicing your global clientele. An Asian bartender refused to serve us drinks at the bar even when we were standing right in front of her with no one else around. She did however serve others who approached after us asking them what they want. She seemed to be racially profiling my friend who was wearing a religious head covering. We found another bartender who was much more friendlier and we still had fun.

Aaron Shenk: This was my first time at this venue, and I was so so impressed. We saw Chelsea Cutler, and the venue and staff were so great. For starters, there were so many staff on hand to answer any questions and there was plenty of security to keep everyone feeling safe. For the actual experience, the sound system was phenomenal, the security guards passed out water bottles to the crowed between performances (!!!) and just went above and beyond the entire time. I will definitely plan on returning to this venue!

Rosebar Lounge: what do users think?

Lane McCall: Pros - Clean environment - Beautiful aesthetics - Great lighting effects - I got compliments lol Cons - Most bartenders are rude - $20 cover (cash only) - Venu is small and cramped - Music was severely lacking

Carson Goff: Come to this bar if you want to fear for your life. Worst crowd of any bar in DuPont. Avoid at all costs.

Tracey Hart: i fly down to dc once in a while to visit friends and family and was very disappointed to learn this place was boring and colorist. They apparently dont hire women of deeper complexions and their waitresses are online arguing, being fatphobic, and unprofessional. I could never do that and expect to keep my job but of course this place has no standards so im not too surprised. Spend your money somewhere else.

Google User: Guess you gotta be a somebody to get a table or section here, I reached out way in advance before my birthday letting them know I was interested in getting a table for when I come celebrate my birthday. Someone responded asked for my contact info, left me on read and never heard from them again. It would’ve been my first time in DC and my first time going here.

Shaneaka R.: The music was great in the room all the way to the back. Loved the decor on the ceiling. You must have to reserve the hookah because it was sold out.

soccerqueen181: Not professional! From the hiring process to the social media presence they do not know how to conduct business. They also refuse to hire women of color which is confusing because DC is referred to as chocolate city. Definitely take your business elsewhere because they need to actually learn how to run an establishment properly.

Ed E: This place is a waste of time and money. Bad music, overpriced drinks, they want to charge a lot of money to get in, bully bouncers pushing people because they feel less in their small brains, small space. There are many other options in DC than this awful place.

Brandon Jones: It might very well be awesome, but when I went, it was deadlocked in the back bar.

Blues Alley Club: what do users think?

Laetitia Monnier: Awesome club ! We went there for a date night and it was a great experience. There is little table around the stage where you can get close and cozy. The atmosphere is dark and felted which is perfect for a romantic date. The music was awesome too. It was a mix of jazz, blues, hip-hop and it was definitely perfect. The food was good too with choice from southern cuisine which we love. I think it’s a must do in DC and we’ll definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family !

Tom Williams: This spot is dope and laid back, I like the location also. The drinks and food were good, this is a must go I will return for sure. They do ask for your vaccination card so don’t be surprised about that. Give it shot and enjoy yourself.

Michael Goodman: Good little historic jazz club in DC. Good space, nice acts coming through. A bit stuffy for my taste, as I usually prefer walk-in casual spots, and this requires tickets in advance. But forcing ticket sales does at least encourage active listeners rather than a raucous, drunken bar crowd. Pretty good layout, good view of the band from most seats in the house. The food is something awful. Get dinner elsewhere.

Anne Schumann: Blues Alley is open and putting on great shows. Vaccinations are required to enter but masks are optional (as of this review). Expect to pay a cover plus a food and beverage minimum. Tickets can be purchased online in advance and there are shows most nights of the week ranging from school bands, local up and commers and national talent. There is a parking garage right across the street or on weeknights you can usually find street parking.

Shantell Hartley: The music was great. However, the service was terrible!!! The show started a little after 10pm. I didn’t get my drink until 11:30pm. Right after I got my drink, the show ended!!! They continually got our drink orders wrong and didn’t have any of the mixers we ordered. They even sent a mixed drink to our table in two different glasses, unmixed. It was a MESS! I finally had to ask for my drink to be mixed with a coke since they didn’t have anything else. It was not delicious. I couldn’t even drink it. I had to ask for extra soda because it was so strong. I am really disappointed by this experience. I should have gotten a refund! The two stars are only because the music was good.

Terri Miller: Blues Alley never disappoints! The pefect venue for enjoying live music. The staff is friendly and professional. I saw one of my favorite artist Kim Waters. It was an amazing performance and outstanding band. I looking forward to going back soon.

J D: Wonderful jazz music in a historic carriage house. The quality of the music and musicians was equal to what we hear at our local concert venue. Owners are hospitable and service is quick and efficient. We enjoyed beverages but want to try the food on our next visit. Check this place out and do your part to support live jazz music and a lively venue.

9:30 Club: what do users think?

Brian Copes: I believe it was my second time at this club and it was a great time! Context - I went to a pride/DJ/ drag show event, but I believe it’s a concert venue in the DC area. Security - I believe they have a metal detector and they check your bags so be prepared and consider that from a time management standpoint. Venue- it’s huge with multiple levels including bars, bathrooms and places to stand/dance/watch. I heard there’s a lower level, but last night I was just on the balcony and main floor near the stage. Vibe - loved the mood and energy. It was packed around 11PM EST even though it started at 10PM. There’s was free water, disco ball, alcohol, lights, go-go dancers and people in the mood to have a fun night. Overall, I would recommend this place for a night out.

Ian Pitts: Cozy venue with multiple bars and some food options. Parking is only a block or two away and there are options for food right nearby within walking distance. The ticket checking process was smooth and they even checked a camera that was deemed "professional" for free during the show.

Anna S: I just took my daughter and her friends to this venue for the first time for an all ages show last night. I am so glad that I did! She and her high school friends had a great time! My friend and I had a nice view from the balcony bar and were able to enjoy ourselves and have our eyes on the girls at all times. We called the club earlier in the evening and the woman who answered the phone gave us great instructions on where to park as well! They take the mask and vaccinations proof seriously as well, which made me feel more comfortable about safety. Bathrooms were clean at the beginning and f the night. Overall, for a place to get 4 decades of people all enjoying the same music and scene, the 9:30 Club did a great job.

Michelle: What an awesome venue! I recently saw one of my favorite bands here and was blown away! The sound in this club is amazing! You can feel every beat and note. Also, great staff! Keeping it safe, but fun. 👍🏻👍🏻

Tori Barker: We barely waited in line and we showed up 15 minutes before the show began which in my opinion was fantastic. When I say barely waited I mean the staff greeted us immediately, looked at our vax cards and IDs and because my boyfriend had lost his mask we had to wait 1 minute so the staff could grab us one. The staff were so kind and even though it was super cold they had such a great attitude and welcoming vibe. So thankful for everything at the venue. The people inside were also great and of course the Bartender, fantastic. I could not ask for more from this venue. The set up inside is stunning and our show was amazing! I am from NC but came up to D.C. to see Misterwives and I am so glad it did. A night to remember from start to finish, thank you 9:30 for all you do to keep entertainment alive during these times.

Nathan Faneuf: Amazing venue, been here twice so far. Would definitely see a show here. Bring ear plugs, very loud, but good sound. Drinks are expensive, 9 dollars for a shot of Jack Daniels. Friendly staff.

Osaurus G: This is a pretty good venue. Love all the bars and the openness of the floor. The balcony area offers some great views of bands (Bob Mould for me)

Aida mary: Absolutely fantastic venue for a live show! I watched Saint Paul and the Broken Bones plus Thee Sacred Souls play here. The energy was lit! Great location. Great customer service! Would definitely go again. Highly recommend

Arts Club of Washington: what do users think?

Perks Advisor: This Club is sandwiched between the White House and George Washington University. It is a private club but open to the public during certain hours. The historic building is worth the visit and you can visit certain rooms that have art hanging on the walls. You can also use the facilities for events. If you enjoy art and a quiet atmosphere this is a very nice venue.

Bob Craycraft: Great membership organization and four art galleries open to the public at no charge.

BRASH BRASH: This was an unexpected treat for me. I received an email about a dinner theatre production about the pending election and decided to go. The location is quite historic and beautifully furnished. There are documents signed by early presidents on the walls. The courtyard in back was charming and features a relief of a bygone scene. Though it is a private club for artists and collectors, the location has regular openings and lectures revolving around the arts. The event I went to was affordable: $40 for a buffet dinner, a 90 minute musical, and a dessert spread afterwards. The members were all very friendly and informative, lively and welcoming.

Paul A: Nice historical place with a conference room for meetings.

Margaret Jones: You have to check website on when can see art or events open to non-members. Can also sign up on email list.

Marie-B CDA: This "temporary" White House is a very elegant home where exhibits, concerts, lectures, poetry readings, ballets are hosted and fine lunches and dinners are served. Every room is elegantly decorated and in the spirit of Monroe. The garden is a nice additio.. The Club offers membership to Artists and drawing/painting classes are taught. A very pleasant place to visit or become a member.

Dr. Laura Reid: It is a beautiful facility with a beautiful grand piano on the second floor. And houses a lovely space for meetings

Michelle Peete: Small art museum nestled close to GW University. A great venue for intimate events. Large patio area for outdoor activities. The food was adequate. Great service.

Jeffrey Kipers: Great place for event such as a wedding reception

Tricia Alletzhauser: We had a great time here. We saw Niko Moon. It was an excellent show and the bar is a decent venue to watch a show. The bar staff was very nice. Overall, we had a great time.
Response: Thank you!

Dave Nemetz: Great little joint to hear some live music. Easy to get to, just a short walk from the L’Enfant Plaza Metro stop. Saw Will Hoge, and was right up next to the stage. Looking forward to seeing more shows here soon.

Oooma L.: A most excellent venue if standing (as in NO seating for regular ticket holders) amid a sea of mostly unmasked bipeds on a concrete floor in dark, windowless dungeons excites you. Featured music acts are one or two steps above what is offered at local suburban coffee houses. Meh. Most of the staff were polite.
Response: hi oooma. the floor is wood and the acts are all nationally or internationally touring performers. but yes, most of our concert-goers are bipeds!

Ann Brennan: Great venue for music. Very intimate without being too crowded. Clean. Easy to park. Good beer selection and attentive staff.
Response: Thank you! Glad you enjoyed your time!

Its Me Jessica: This place was so fun. Definitely old school pinball machines, pool tables, board games you name it they had it! Great time I will be back!

Ellie Somers: Don’t recommend. Staff is rude and condescending. Drinks are eh at best. The only thing they have going for them is the rooftop and that’s only worth it if the weather is nice. Wouldn’t go out of my way for this place when there are MUCH better bars in the area. And if you’re going for the games, there are better places for that too. Definitely would skip this one.

Tim Jenks: Come for a bar or billiards, not for the arcade. Bar service was typical, no complaints there, and they have 3 billiards tables with ample room around them. The arcade portion was very underwhelming though. Very few machines, the pinball one I chose needed maintenance because the ball got stuck multiple times, and the machines are a confusing mix of accepting bills or quarters.

Tom: Charging full dollar for pinball that doesn’t work. Lock bar on black knight is off, shield doesn’t work, GNR has zero ball save, and Iron Maiden doesn’t even have working coin slots. Dollar pinball is fine if it’s in working condition. Until then, Stay away. Stay far away.

ciara d: Fun place to drink and play games with your friends. Cool date on calmer nights . They used to have a window to order shake shack through but I’m not sure if that is still available.

Official Godiva: I really love the nice 70s vibe here. The drinks are nice but it would be great if they had a wider selection of cocktails. I would definitely visit again.

Addy Adds: Racially targeted. I was the target of racial discrimination by several black males who worked when I visited on March 4, 2022. I was followed by one INTO the restroom as he watched me urinate. They claimed I was "too drunk" to be there before FOUR of them escorted me out. A bar with 200 people drinking and after two drinks I was "too drunk". Terrible, racist establishment.

Kelton Higgins: The new location sounds amazing. The old location was fighting some unavoidable / unwinnable small room issues. No longer. Big open space with an unobstructed view of the stage from everywhere. Sound is a perfect balance of clear and punchy without any harshness.

Kristin Dunbar: Love this place. Cozy but never cramped. Sound quality beats most of the bigger venues. Everyone is super friendly (a rarity in DC). Easy to get to via Metro & plenty of on-street free parking.

addie Cookie: saw Ritt Momney here and had an amazing time!! fast line and good drink selection! this venue is just the right size to see your favorite small artists!

Timothy J. Stevenson: The City Tavern Rare Book Show was held there and it was a great success. They rolled the red carpet out for the dealers presenting their material.

Keith Carr: We held a birthday party for my mother-in-law at the club. The staff, food, and accommodations were perfect for the occasion. What an amazing opportunity to experience American history with great food. I plan to host more parties at this venue.

Antonio Lima: DO NOT GO! If you value your time and money simple pick any other place. Food is poor, ambient is poor and service is bad. Put the price on top of these and you have one of the worse dining experiences you can have. Besides, there was kind of a fight/ very loud argument in the kitchen everyone in the restaurant could hear... it was just a bad experience in our Philly trip.

Christopher M: The post by Antonio L. is obviously incorrectly reviewing the place in *Philadelphia* by same name. This is City Tavern in Georgetown (DC) and is a great place steeped in history. Our family loves going there for holidays.

Rick Hogan: Nice place to have a wedding reception. Lots of different rooms for people to hang out in. Good food. Excellent service.

Lakiah Robinson: A wonderful members only club, in Georgetown. Thanks for the invite.

Liz T: Beautiful space for a party. Great staff

Adam Christopher: Wonderful club!

Archibald's Gentlemen's Club: what do users think?

Katze Love: It’s highly mediocre. The main floor is very plain with not much going on. Staff aren’t too friendly but that’s to be expected. Expect to pay a high cover and for overpriced drinks. Maybe if you’re next door, check it out, but definitely not worth making a trip to this place.

Dianne Carter: I never expected to have such a great time here! We went in because it was close to our hotel and we wanted an after dinner drink. The girls were so beautiful, strong, and talented! I highly recommend this club!
Response: THANK YOU DIANNE. We all work hard in hopes of getting reviews such as yours.

Darby Mcdermott: went here once and the dancers seemed so strung out that it made me feel genuinely sad for them. I ended up tipping only out of pity. The bartenders seemed sober but were really rude. The owners and bouncers give off shady vibes. Everything is way overpriced. I walked in ready to have fun, walked out depressed.

Logan Koprovic: Decent drinks but terrible service. Sat at a table and was served twice: once when I sat and once when I hunted down our server for our check. Tried to order at the bar but ran off. Apparently you’re supposed to just sit at your table for hours sipping your empty drink.

N Vaaj: Mehh.. drinks were a bit overpriced... $11 for a bottle of Corona; to be expected regarding the location in the City. The girls were, without a doubt, beautiful! Would say about 80% of entertainers were above average. Kinda small for the venue. Repeatable: Maybe?? Have to go during weekend to give full answer. I went on a Wednesday. Verdict: Would say the business establishment is respectable. Worth a try! I only went to visit an old friend!

Dee Dee: I’m a woman and I attended this establishment as a patron. I paid an entrance fee AND for refreshments inside. Security was nice at the door. Within 10 minutes of my arrival I was asked to pay (I even tipped the bar) which I thought was strange because all I had was a water bottle. security approached me asking me to speak outside. I agreed. The guard told me that a dancer was uncomfortable because another patron spoke to me when she’d walked away. I am A LESBIAN so there’s the real joke in the situation. I was wearing full stockings and a fully professional Elie Tahari dress. There is no way a basically naked woman was threatened by my presence when he wasn’t even sober enough to complete a sentence from what I saw. Nevermind that I was spending money in this establishment. I immediately demanded a refund for being basically dismissed after paying to enter . I was faced with a audacious rebuttal before management agreed so I was able to receive my entrance fee and tip back. Long story short if the dancers are going to be insecure they need to do that on their own time off the clock. I was referred to it and after my experience I would NOT recommend this to anyone. Camelot offers the same services where I have spent time and TIPPED the bar AND girls without a single problem. Visit them instead.

Jason Tipp: Once I walked in there was a hot girl working the door I think she’s asian and black (she was the hottest in the club I’d say) there’s a few good looking girls at the bar. The dancers are ok. There’s no pole, it’s more of a relaxing environment. If you’re looking to relax and have a conversation this is a place for it. Also the dancers ask for tip after their sessions which is acceptable.
