Mikayla Rose: This was our first time at a Michelin star restaurant and it was the most delicious and romantic dinner I鈥檝e ever had. My husband and I went for my birthday dinner and it was so special. Our waiter, Ramsey, made the experience so personal and he was amazing! This was hands down the best service I鈥檝e ever received at a restaurant from the moment we walked in until we left. Since it was my birthday, we were given a gift of a recipe and the ingredients we can make at home, as well as a raspberry tart with a candle! I鈥檓 incredibly impressed and will be returning. 10/10 recommend. Also, for the meal and service we received it was so worth the money and very reasonably price.

HK: Enjoyed all of the menus we ordered. Rose鈥檚 Luxury is a smart creative restaurant- not using any unheard or arcane ingredients or recipe, it effortlessly creates a new combination of tastes. The way it鈥檚 priced is hard to understand ($85 per person prefix for dinner regardless of what you order) and may make it relatively more expensive for some combination of dishes. Other than that, food and service was fantastic.

Andrea Bronstein: This was my first time at a Michelin star restaurant and it was an amazing experience. I booked the garden bar area mistakenly thinking it was just for the garden area in general and I鈥檇 have a table so I was disappointed when I was seated but it ended up being a great experience. Josh, the bartender, was really personable and knowledgeable and my fianc茅 and I really enjoyed chatting with him. The food was really good, especially the steak and eggs dish.

Megan Martinez: We loved Rose鈥檚 Luxury! Our waiter was extremely nice. The whole staff was super friendly. We got to try 6 dishes since we were a party of three. The lychee salad is a must. The cabbage and chicken were also extremely delicious. We got two deserts and a single coffee French press. They brought us a special tart for my sister since it was her birthday! At the end I was so touched to get a gift at the end of the meal which was a pasta and spice set to make at home!

Carolyn Zacharias: I came in nervously as a solo dinner and ate at the bar - I was immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming staff - from the host to each server explaining the dishes. John and Harley at the bar took excellent care of me through the creation of delicious drinks and perfect recommendations for food. I had the lychee and pork salad which at first glance seemed like a creation of mismatched ingredients, it was both refreshing and hearty. In addition I tried the leek pasta and the soy glazed chicken, both dishes I highly recommend as they are both comforting and creative!

Richard Holst: Elegant and delicious. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant has many quiet and corners with the perfect atmosphere. It is well organized and very clean, every inch has amazing details. The food and drink selection is extensive and everything we had was prepared to perfection. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area. We will be back here often.

Dario Camilo Barros Vi帽as: 5 stars for real in every aspect. It has both a very fancy area indoor and a fancy yet relaxed area in the patio. The service was amazing, the food was superb, the cocktails were delicious and generous. Canver the manager was very kind and served us the calamari complementary make us feel even better served! I didn鈥檛 know the Branzino taste this good until I tried it here. We were only two so we couldn鈥檛 try more plates but do yourself a favor and try Fiola Mare!

Christopher Gillespie: All about the dining experience here, they go above and beyond. Did the bottomless brunch with amazing views. Brunch at this level of execution will be very tough to match. The blue fin ahi could be best bites of 2022 to date. The scallop crudo was melt in the mouth. Worth the price of admission.

Pe Lin (Cilibluebird): A five star seafood restaurant that deserves the five star. Great for special events minimum 50 USD per per person, but well deserved. Hakan was our server and he made this experience exceptional. Pasta鈥檚 are excellent. Georgetown next to water. Outside seating is great in the evenings of hot summers.

Roz Manning: Fabulous venue for our intimate wedding dinner with family. The Mermaid Room and adjoining patio were perfect. The appetizers were delicious, dinner was delectable and service superb.

Cindee Sheeler: First time visiting for a friends birthday..Was absolutely amazing. Reggie and the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and very personable. Jiaren Li: Well deserving of the accolades! The meal was extraordinarily enjoyable and our waitress was both insightful of the food and friendly. I was surprisingly mind blown by the roasted vegetables - superb ingredients and good techniques make something appear so simple but feels like beyond my ability to replicate at home.

Jessica C: The Dabney is my go-to for special occasions. It鈥檚 pricey but whenever my friend from the west coast comes for a visit, it鈥檚 our fancy/celebratory reunion dinner. The wait staff is always friendly and they pay you great attention. There are lots of little touches that make this place great (i.e., my friend and I remembered how much we loved the bread and butter last time we came, and the staff gave us tiny jars of the butter to take home with us. The butter is so good you could eat it with a spoon). The snacks/first course were delicious. Even something as boring as a radish turned into a highlight of the meal (I avoid seafood but they made great substations with the pre-fixe menu to accommodate me). The meat is cooked beautifully (though I admit the lamb was fattier than I typically enjoy 鈥 see photo) and the egg tart was my favorite dish. The drink was aromatic and lovely. If you can save up for a fancy dinner, go.

Julia Gooding: We walked in and we鈥檙e thankful to be able to have the choice of the fixed or a la carte. We opted to order from the menu. Warning: portions are really small, so be prepared to order a lot or don鈥檛 come super hungry. We joked you get but a dab of food (a La carte at least) at The Dabney, but it鈥檚 a tasty dab! Some highlights were hen of the woods, scallops, and the wild meringue desert. But I think the dark chocolate gelato could be darker and richer. Cocktails were interesting but I didn鈥檛 find them that interesting in terms of depth/layers of flavor. Really nice staff and positive experience, but a star off because my expectations (with the star) were quite high!

Matt Monarch: Great tasting menu, but probably not worth splurging on given the other options you have in DC. The catfish sliders are worth adding. All the other food pictured was very good but unspectacular.

Alvaro H. Torres: Exceptional customer service. One of the best French toast I had. Luckily for me, I had two days to try as much breakfast meal. I highly recommend it and it exceeded my expectations. The price is high but you are paying for great quality. After your breakfast you can take a stroll at the water front. I think this is a great selection and you will not be disappointed.

Adam Galazka: Tried the restaurant for a dinner one night and couple of breakfasts while staying at the watergate. Not quite a 5 star experience. For dinner the food was well seasoned but the temperature was luke warm. Not quite what we expected. Service was great. For breakfast, service was great and very fast but again latte was very luke warm. They made it up the 2nd time around. We will definitely come back at some point to give them another try.

Thang Phu: Highly recommended! We stopped by for a late afternoon food one day and was amazed at how fantastic the food is. It was all so good, especially their desserts. I have travelled to multiple regions in France and I can attest the food here tastes the closest to food in France. They even have a wine carafe on the menu, just like France. I wished I lived near here so I could go treat myself now and then.

mike wittenburg: Five Stars for the food and the atmosphere. Visited on a busy Saturday evening and got a table without a reservation, amazing. So much seating available. Indoor and outdoor seating. Went with a couple of friends and the drinks and food were fabulous. Tuna dish is a small serving. Trout was great and the muscles were awesome. Apple dessert and vanilla creme brulee delicious. Definitely a popular spot. And the bread... So much bread... Good variety of bread to choose from. Enjoy!

brian perkins: Loved this place for a few reasons. Let鈥檚 start with the bread. Why can鈥檛 all restaurants serve great, fresh, delicious bread? Because it鈥檚 not easy. I pictured the empty escargot plate because after dipping the bread in the garlic sauce it was game over. Add onion soup, superb steak frites, profiteroles to die for and you have a neighborhood gem. Not to mention the wait staff gives treats to dogs being walked by the restaurants. How great is that?!

Rob: The food and ambiance are always great. However, on multiple occasions, I鈥檝e felt that the service is not what you鈥檇 expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Last time I felt a bit rushed and the service, while attentive, was curt. When our entrees arrived, a waiter couldn鈥檛 fully reach to place my friend鈥檚 plate in front of him. Rather then walk around the table (there was space), the waiter placed it on the table and gave the plate a quick flick of the wrist to push it over. It鈥檚 a small example but I think captures a similar sentiment seen in other reviews about the service.

Michelle Wiciak: Absolutely phenomenal. This place has the best duck ever. Honestly, everything we had was amazing--from the charcuterie board to the horseradish potatoes to the chocolate peanut butter cake. A well-rounded meal. Not to mention, our waiter did an excellent job at recommending our wine selection and paired beautifully with our dishes. Just an amazing experience and will come back when we are in the city again.

Tilak Kalaria: Blue Duck Tavern in the Park Hyatt is an amazing dining experience. The ambience and the service match the excellent cocktails, wine, and cuisine. You truly get what you pay for and you do pay don鈥檛 get me wrong but WoW everything tastes excellent and the service team鈥檚 attention to detail elevates the experience. Jerry鈥檚 Adventure: Service, value, flavor it hits all the marks The short ribs were tender and melts in your mouth. And with a smoky flavor 馃憣 the egg 馃 is cooked perfectly as it gives a creamy texture to the dish. The biscuit holds up with good structure, but it鈥檚 flavor may not be as accentuated as it can be (mostly herbs) and can use a gravy. Pancakes were fluffy as expected and presentation is beautiful 馃槍 Overall a must go in DC area

Vivian Cheng: Went for lunch. Food is solid, well-executed. We had the cured ocean trout (delicious!) and the kale salad (perfect) with two entrees. Crab cakes are large and delicious. Well seasoned, paired with a salad. I had the confit duck leg. Flavorful, succulent, with a beautiful crispy skin. Sadly, we were too full for dessert. Well-worth a visit.

QDior: I had a great experience here. My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary. The around the world food package was great. It was a new and fun experience. I recommend sitting outside during good weather. Our server was knowledgeable and very nice. At the end of the date my boyfriend and I were full and satisfied. I would come back here again.

Went a Wednesday around 7PM to celebrate my birthday with my mom and grandma. Our server was amazingly friendly and attentive and so the front desk people. I鈥檓 taking a star because of security reasons, that day we sat in the outdoor tables. When we were about to get the last part of our Vegetarian Tour of the World course (couldn鈥檛 taste the dessert hahah) a guy came to our table and stole my grandmas purse like it was nothing, I ran with high heels in order to catch him screaming for help but nothing really (besides another guy that was eating with his girlfriend next to our table). The server told us the check was going to be for free, which we were thankful because it wasn鈥檛 really the server or the chefs fault for security reasons. Everything was delicious! No complaints on their food. Their butternut squash was so creamy and flavorful! Their hot cocktail was out of the world!! Please add some security cameras around, at least for the people that dine outdoors during night! Or close the space so it鈥檚 harder for robbers to step in your cart area please m!! Personal recommendation, please dine indoors!!!!

We were excited to try out the brunch menu named 鈥楩lavours of the world鈥 which had a unique mix of food. We were very tempted to try out the Georgian famous dish 鈥楰hachapuri鈥 and the waitress mixed the eggs in the dish in front of us on the flatbread. It was a different art form to experience. I also enjoyed the Shakshuka as part of the four course meal. The chicken kabob was juicy and delicious and the cutlery had beautiful patterns. We finished it off with a chocolate cake dessert. The food was flavorful but we were slightly disappointed with the available options on the menu for brunch as it was not customizable. The seating & ambience was average as it was just a tiny building converted into a restaurant. Vibe was good though. A place for a different feeling for food!

You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese鈥ust order if, no when you come. If you鈥檙e looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. Genesis Marrero: I was truly impressed with this dining experience. We flew to DC for my birthday week and had my birthday dinner here. Luis served us and he was definitely one of the best servers we have ever had wait on us (and we are huge foodies so that is saying something). He was so attentive and just knew exactly how to guide the dining experience based on what the guests is wanting out of their night whether they know specifically or not. We let him take the wheel with all of the knowledgeable recommendations and we were so happy from start to finish. We came back for our last meal in DC and again, Amber served us, and again we were not disappointed. She was so sweet and also had wonderful recommendations and made sure all of our needs were met before we said goodbye and hopped on a flight. Luckily Luis was also there and he remembered us which made us happy because he was also so memorable for us. He was so nice and sent us our new favorite drink that he enlightened us to - the carajillo. I don鈥檛 think you could go wrong with a single thing on this menu. The rest of the staff was also very efficient and everything just seemed to flow so smoothly with the teamwork here. I can鈥檛 wait to go back someday!

R: This was my first time going to Del Mar and the food was phenomenal! We went as a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. It was my first time trying octopus and it was really good. The parking in the garage was $45 since I stay for 4+ hours which was a downside for the night so it might be better to find street parking.

Black Star Dust: Absolutely stunning place. Great service. Top tier experience. Everything was a ten. The Seafood Paella is delicious. Highly recommend that dish. It comes in different sizes for sharing. It was my bday so they brought out gratis champagne and this cheesecake that was literally the one of the most delicious desserts to grace the planet. Don鈥檛 even get me started on the churros! Amazing! I also did come in with a VIP who goes there regularly so that surely may have enhanced the experience to 10 stars!!

Alya's Aura: The food was SO delicious and of course the service was top notch. Our waiter (I believe his name is Michael) was so nice and helpful and made some great recommendations. I definitely suggest leaving space for dessert because their little dulce de leche dark chocolate cakes with the horchata ice cream was beyond amazing! The perfect end to a great meal 馃憣馃従

Daisy Gutierrez: Food was good. Not great but good. The service was great! This wine was my fave. A little overpriced only because I feel at those prices the food should taste better. They have a great selection though! I had the seafood paella it lacked flavor. My friend had some green rice thing, neither of us raved about our main courses. The patatas bravas are good but could use more of the brava sauce.

Deborah Altman: A wonderful place for a special occasion. Outdoor patio dining added to the ambiance. Food, wine and service were all wonderful. Did an excellent job with gluten and dairy free. Server asked if cross contamination was an issue. I greatly appreciated that. We will be back!

andrew: Super cute place, spacious and fun! Had dinner here with some friends on a Friday night. We made reservations for 630pm and was seated inside at one of their booths. We started off with biscuits, cooked Oysters, deviled eggs, and giant prawn as our appetizers. The biscuits are a must order item. They鈥檙e fresh and warm, and comes with a side of polenta spread. Every bite melts in your mouth. The Oysters were good and had a nice flavor. You couldn鈥檛 鈥渢aste鈥 the sea. Both the prawn and deviled eggs were pretty standard. A bit boring and standard in taste. I had the steak as my main course, along with a side of broccoli and baked potatoes. Steak was medium and full of flavor in every bite. The broccoli was just okay, and worked as a side going along with something that had more flavor. The baked potatoes are much like fries, seasoned with herbs. There鈥檚 plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but i still recommend making a reservation. They have some great large, private booth areas outside to accommodate guests during the pandemic. I sure hope they get to keep it all up for a while. Parking can be tough in the area on busy nights and weekends, but the Union Market parking lot should work. Service was fast and friendly.

ESB NYC: Cool place in Union Market. Kind of an old school steak house with a modern vibe. Excellent service. I had the draft Vieux Carr茅 cocktail, $14, pretty tasty. We shared the blue crab deviled eggs ($14) and the oyster appetizer at $19 for 6 cooked oysters. My husband had the butcher steak which was $34 and flavorful but pretty tough. I had the rockfish entree (also $34), nice piece of fish in a mussel cream sauce. A little fishy for my taste (freshwater fish) from the Potomac, lol?! We shared the fried mashed potatoes and creamed spinach sides. We shared the ice cream cake dessert, I think it was $11. Tasty but just a little rich after a fairly heavy meal. All in all, expensive but pretty good.

Brittany H: Dinner here was exceptional. Service staff was amazing. We did the harvest menu where you get to pick 4 items yourself and the chef picks the others for you. We had not one complaint. Every dish was delicious. Some of our favorites were the Eggplant Mousse, Langoustine, Childhood(Pasta), Farmers Steak(Wagyu)& the Sweet Beginnings(Pumpkin Spice "Latte," Honeynut Squash Gelato). It felt like by the end of the night we must of had 15+ dishes. Oh and the cocktails! Such an experience. Highly recommend ordering their specialty cocktails. It is like nothing you鈥檝e experience before! Super creative & fun. Needless to say, you definitely get your moneys worth and will not leave hungry or unhappy. It was an amazing experience and we can鈥檛 wait to go back next time we鈥檙e in D.C.!

Winners: the amouse bouche, seafood broth spaghetti antipasto, calabrian chili gremolata, au jus served in a burnt onion Less satisfied: dry/firm entree meats, a tiramisu whose chocolateyness was much too overpowering (despite its otherwise fun and novel style choices)

Alexander O'Neill: Whether for an anniversary, birthday, or date night, Chez Billy Sud is the perfect place to celebrate. A small French bistro in Georgetown, this restaurant has an intimate atmosphere well reflected in its dishes. Every dish on their menu is a winner and you simply cannot go wrong. The poultry dishes are excellent, and I鈥檇 recommend pairing with a bottle of wine. The sommelier is hilarious and went above and beyond to help us decide on a pairing.

Diana Milena Lopez Avila: Amazing good & service. We ordered the leeks vinaigrette for appetizer and the poulet r么ti for main course. For dessert we ordered the tarte au fromage. Everything was absolutely amazing.

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Torrence (hope I got the name right!) was an excellent server and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Hope Greenleaf: Really cool place! You鈥檒l find a great happy hour, yummy food and drinks, and a fun and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant itself is really cute. There is a little courtyard between two buildings. I prefer to sit at the beautiful wooden bar in the right hand side building. I don鈥檛 remember the bartender鈥檚 name but he was witty and kind. I definitely recommend Chez Billy Sud!

Ron Milkowski: I have never been to the Kennedy Center and had no idea that there even was a restaurant. What a very nice dining experience. Santo our waiter was very knowledgeable with the food and drinks. It is a bit pricey but worth it. Even if you are not going to an event I highly recommend checking it out.

Anusha Chatterjee: Wonderful bar service! The food was so good. Had the tuna carpaccio and the salmon. Both were absolutely perfect! Lovely seasonal Cocktails. Perfect stop before or after the show. The bar has the full menu, so no reservations were needed. Lovely intimate vibe.

My lamb chops and wife鈥檚 fillet would go over well in any finer local venue. The service was prompt and professional and based around our show time. John Darden: The steaks were cooked just right. Our waiter was polite and make our evening more enjoyable. The lobster mash potatoes had plenty of lobster meat; however, it was oily. If you like lemon drops then you should definitely try theirs because of the taste and presentation. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were huge. We had added crab meat to one of the steaks; however, we felt as though the restaurant could have included more meat relative to the cost of the dish but it was good. You can pay your bill using your phone. That was a nice touch (no need to wait for someone to come back to you) We plan on coming back.

David Anderson: Excellent service and a wonderfully prepared meal. From the cheese board and salad with roasted pumpkin and cranberry to our main dishes - Bouillabaisse and Steak Frittes...all of it was extremely tasty. The steak was a perfect medium rare and tender. Great wine list and our pre-dinner cocktails were also very tasty. All around a great experience.

Anna S: Lillies was not only yummy, but the service was fantastic, even with it being NYE and only having 2 wait staff(that I saw). Everyone really enjoyed their meals: lobster raviolis, chicken Marsala, Tour of Italy, and the lamb! The lamb was some of the best that I have had in a really long time. Overall great food and good pricing. The tiramisu was also made fresh so I loved it!

There is, of course, an indoor area you can eat. Very nice inside for those who don鈥檛 want to be outside. Certainly recommend this spot!

Patrick Campbell: What a wonderful family owned restaurant. They are located away from most of the NW restaurants but I believe it was worth the trip. The service was really friendly and the drinks were really good. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The atmosphere was also great.

Ahmadski HaHa: Beautifully decorated indoor dinning area. Given the circumstances, service was fast n professional. The waitress opened up once we started talking to her. London fish n chips were tasty, the date salad was on point (hint: the dressing is very tangy) and the kids chicken tender was yummy. The fried calamari was a bit tender and chewy for my tasting. Overall the restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. Well run restaurant!

Ranna Gay: My husband and I had a date night here and really enjoyed it. Started with the lemoncello and Manhattan, great drinks. Loved the perfect antipasto since it gave us a selection of Mussels, Calamari, Bruschetta, Shrimp, Mozzarella And Capris Salad. The carbonara with shrimp was also amazing. Loved the garlic bread too. Enjoyed their Eggplant Milanese with all the cheese on top. Cozy ambiance and very nice owners!
