Jojo Restaurant and Bar: what do users think?

Fernanda Lanzagorta: The live music is definitely the best asset of this restaurant. Its 10 dollars for the the music. We were expecting more on the food, the fries and apple tart were the best of all. The ambiance is so cozy and inviting. I’ll come back for the music and the desserts.

mletts423: This is a great spot! The Jazz was incredible. It is a small bar with great sound. The bartenders work really hard and make great drinks! I highly recommend this place!

Dani Pass: Never go here. The staff is so aggressive. As a woman I felt so unsafe. I saw their bouncer grab people by the neck and aggressively take people out in an unacceptable way. This person cannot be working there. Brendon, the one working at the door was completely unhelpful and ignorant about this serious situation.

Diana Feldmaier: SIR Sundays are BACK!! It is the best brunch I’ve been to. The buffet style food was delicious, lots of fun, great show, and unlimited mimosas! Bring all your girlfriends, you’ll have a blast!

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar - Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Da-Wang Wu: One of my favorite restaurants in DC. The interior design is pretty cool, and the ambience is great. My favorite is the seafood soup, very flavorful with lots of seafood inside. During dinner time (after 4pm), they serve toasted bread with mango butter, super refreshing flavor! Chicken croquette, fried yuca and empanadas are all very good. Guacamole is beautiful decorated but not the best one I’ve ever had. Paella doesn’t feel right, pretty wet. Churro as an ending dessert to be meal is a great option. Reservation might be needed during peak hours.

Vikram Seshadri: Loved the music and the ambiance was very lively. Amazing vegetarian and Vegan options. Must try the Mojitos, Yuca fries and the Plantain chips.Had to call ahead and reserve a table and the restaurant was super busy on a weekday but was definitely worth it.

Hard Rock Cafe: what do users think?

Rachel Cook: We had a very large group with reservations. They were not prepared. Some of the staff was great, but others were not. The food, for those who actually got food, was mediocre. If this continues, the DC Hard Rock will suffer the same fate as others around the country...permanently closed. It is disappointing 😞

David Arrimadas: Very good Hard Rock restaurant. I have been in lot of them all over the world and this is a very good one. I love the open kitchen concept and the kindness of all the staff. The brownie is delicious and soooo big. Difficult to finish it even when sharing!

The Hamilton: what do users think?

Anny Khaysavang: We made reservations at 6pm and were sat down right away upon arrival. Food was delicious and all came out quick! The Mac and cheese was a little cold but other than that, all of the dishes were 5/5. On top of the fast service, our server Courtney was super nice and knowledgeable of everything on the menu. Loved our server and the food! Highly recommend as a dinner spot for friends and family!

Natalie Caldwell: Massive restaurant. Very attentive and kind management and wait staff. We had the single banana bread loaf with the whipped honey butter - don’t skip this. It’s awesome. The fried chicken sandwich was fantastic especially with the extra mumbo sauce (the two pieces of chicken weren’t overly crispy but I imagine because of the extra sauce). The truffle rosemary fries were great, but nothing there wasn’t enough “stick” for the rosemary and pecorino cheese to stick to them which was frustrating. Otherwise, great meal. Excited to go back.

Tikesha Ross: Belly was the best server ever she made our experience so great! The food was good the music was good. Me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves….. Thank you Bellly ❤️❤️

TeQuila Carroll: This place is cute. Like IG worthy but that’s it lol Went here for brunch on Sunday, of course, and it was just OK. No valet parking. They take reservations but I think b/c EVERYBODY has been here it was not packed at all. Suitable for all ages (21-50). The food was subpar. Bottle service was a joke to me. They have hookah, electric, which was very different than your standard coal option. It’s a set menu for brunch. $35 for a appetizer, entree, and dessert. You can order Mimosas by the glass or opt for the “bottle service”(6 mini bottles of champagne) with a complimentary juice. If you want extra juice it’s $10. Don’t let the camera guy fool you. It’s $20 a photo. They do have a DJ but they seemed inexperienced. I’m glad I went b/c it was so hyped. But I’m wouldn’t return.

Steve Meier: Great place, and of course what do you order at an Irish Resturant? Fish & Chips and it was probably the best I have ever had. Some of my coworkers were Shepherd Pie fans and a couple others were more traditional and had a Chicken Sandwich. The common theme was everyone was happy with their meal. Service was great and atmosphere was pleasant.

Brett Daviau: Breakfast was great. Salmon bagel with all the fixings. Poor server was trying her best to handle the whole shop by herself. Hope she can get some help. Delicious.

Union District Oyster Bar & Lounge: what do users think?

Keshia Wideman: We celebrated here on Karaoke Wednesday. What a fun, entertaining, and sociable setting. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the band was lit 🔥. Kareem, and his wife where very nice to us with our 101 year old uncle. Yes, he was so excited about the women , and the music. We felt so good to be among our dmv people. Will definitely be returning.

Rachel Haywood: I think this might be the worst meal I’ve had in my 8 years living in DC. There’s a reason this place was almost empty at 7:30 on a Saturday night in the busy union market neighborhood. The shrimp and grits were comparable to Waffle House, the wine was room temperature (and it was about 80 degrees inside), and the cocktails were watered down and overly sweet. Oysters were fine but some of them were really small. Everyone working there was super nice, except for one guy who, when asked if there was soup available, laughed….it’s listed on your menu - this is not an absurd question to ask. The menu was also pretty pathetic. Several people came in and left after looking at it. This place would be a fantastic candidate for Bar Rescue. It’s got potential but there’s no way in hell I’m coming back given the million other options in DC.

Kristin Dunbar: Love this place. Cozy but never cramped. Sound quality beats most of the bigger venues. Everyone is super friendly (a rarity in DC). Easy to get to via Metro & plenty of on-street free parking.

Kelton Higgins: The new location sounds amazing. The old location was fighting some unavoidable / unwinnable small room issues. No longer. Big open space with an unobstructed view of the stage from everywhere. Sound is a perfect balance of clear and punchy without any harshness.

Madam's Organ: what do users think?

James Bladen: I really wanted to try this place and menu sounded good, but waited over 15 minutes or more for someone to take my order and never did! I asked the bartender if someone was going to wait on my table and I could not hear what his response was, he just mumbled something. I was being as patient as possible and understand places are short staffed. There was a big table of around 10 people upstairs and I was by myself downstairs, I guess that explains it. The bartender was more interested staring at his phone than making sure his customers were taken care of. I was going to order a large order and I do tip good, but sorry, you just lost a customer and me recommending a place if you ignore solo diners like that.

Amanda: Great dark chilled atmosphere. Multiple floors with a partially covered roof top bar. Live bands. Friendly speedy service. Reasonable food and drink prices. Pool table available.

Union Stage: what do users think?

Ann Brennan: Great venue for music. Very intimate without being too crowded. Clean. Easy to park. Good beer selection and attentive staff.

Oooma L.: A most excellent venue if standing (as in NO seating for regular ticket holders) amid a sea of mostly unmasked bipeds on a concrete floor in dark, windowless dungeons excites you. Featured music acts are one or two steps above what is offered at local suburban coffee houses. Meh. Most of the staff were polite.

Jack Rose Dining Saloon: what do users think?

Anindita Barman: This is a very popular place I could tell from the crowd that was in the restaurant even after the kitchen had closed. We had the "Jack Rose Barrel Picks" flight, the "Time in a Bottle" cocktail, whiskey Wings and fries. The whiskey selection in the flight was great, the cocktail and the wings were good as well, however, the fries were not seasoned or salted at all. Service was good but the host could have done better. He just stood there without greeting or anything so we were not sure if he was part of the staff. Upon asking if he worked there, he said he did after which we asked for a table and he led us to one. :/ Parking can be a hassle as the restaurant is in the heart of DC. There is street parking but finding a spot is up to luck.

Larry Miller: Over 2600 different Whiskies in their inventory. Great selection of rare whiskey. Great cocktails, service and food. This was a busket list bar for me. Itcwas the worth the trip.

Mastro's Steakhouse: what do users think?

John Darden: The steaks were cooked just right. Our waiter was polite and make our evening more enjoyable. The lobster mash potatoes had plenty of lobster meat; however, it was oily. If you like lemon drops then you should definitely try theirs because of the taste and presentation. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were huge. We had added crab meat to one of the steaks; however, we felt as though the restaurant could have included more meat relative to the cost of the dish but it was good. You can pay your bill using your phone. That was a nice touch (no need to wait for someone to come back to you) We plan on coming back.

Rosalind Manning: Wonderful evening celebrating a special mom and daughter event. Not one thing could have been improved upon. Thank you for a great experience.

Cole Breuer: Owner is very aggressive and mean. Only cares that he is the owner and is awful. Had a friend who had a terrible experience directly related to him. 3 girls walked out and he screamed at them to leave who one I am friends with. Very disrespectful and was angry that he couldn’t get in because his place was so packed. Fun for college students however the guy who owns it is very odd and mean. Don’t recommend unless you want to wait a lifetime and get yelled at by some soulless man

Whole Again: What a FANTASTIC venue! Eugene runs a tight ship with amazing talent! From the honesty with the staff, to the execution of the music. Just fantastic. Highly recommended!

Blue Duck Tavern: what do users think?

Tilak Kalaria: Blue Duck Tavern in the Park Hyatt is an amazing dining experience. The ambience and the service match the excellent cocktails, wine, and cuisine. You truly get what you pay for and you do pay don’t get me wrong but WoW everything tastes excellent and the service team’s attention to detail elevates the experience. The bone marrow and the duck were my favourite dishes to name a couple. Intriguingly delicious was their house bread with olives! Excellent dining experience that is worth the price. Cheers.

Jerry’s Adventure: Service, value, flavor it hits all the marks The short ribs were tender and melts in your mouth. And with a smoky flavor 👌 the egg 🥚 is cooked perfectly as it gives a creamy texture to the dish. The biscuit holds up with good structure, but it’s flavor may not be as accentuated as it can be (mostly herbs) and can use a gravy. Pancakes were fluffy as expected and presentation is beautiful 😌 Overall a must go in DC area

Adriana Cortés-Buelvas: I absolutely love the Crown and Crow. Great cocktails and a huge offer on drinks. Great indie rock music, feels like an Irish experience.Graham is the nicest!

Bobby McKey's Dueling Piano Bar: what do users think?

Josef Gasimov: Excellent place to spend Saturday night with talented musicians, good drink menu and OK food. Bring lots of cash so you can order your favorite songs or mention birthday or anniversary etc. On Saturdays place stays up past midnight and opens door at 7pm with piano folks starting around 8pm. $35 admission fee is best money spent. Except food which was ok everything else was perfect. Definitely a place to come back to!

Jennifer Osborne: We had such a great date night at Bobby McKey’s! Wow, the musicians are EXCELLENT, and their energy and enthusiasm is infectious. Hilarious too! Food was pretty tasty, but it’s definitely bar food. I recommend the egg rolls! (However, I don’t recommend the McKEY’S Breeze cocktail unless you like your drinks VERY sweet!) Definitely recommend checking this place out if you want a fun night at the harbor!

Kirwan’s on the Wharf: what do users think?

Elizabeth T.: We stopped in here for a few drinks after a free concert and we’re happy with the prices considering the area. We stayed for a few appetizers and I honestly wasn’t that impressed. It did it’s job with curbing my hunger but it was enough for us to choose to go somewhere else for dinner. They sat us quickly and the waitress was very attentive to our needs and brought out the food quickly.

catch_hug: Great for beers and a quick bite. Waiters seem all very good trained and attentive. Food was spiced dezent and authentically, even though the tuna poke (wich btw is not what you are serving) was way too much sesame. Local craft beers on tap, try the sour.

Teddy & The Bully Bar: what do users think?

Christopher Kenneth Young Jr: Good service. Thank you Olivia. Food could’ve tasted better for brunch. Lots of small portions during brunch, if the portions were larger, we would’ve ordered less plates. I don’t recommend going for brunch with parties more than six - can be very hectic. If you want an unlimited brunch, I would recommend this place.

Julleny Wain: Food was really good but pricey. They do have unlimited mimosas if you do the all you can eat which is $50 per person. The portions as small buy again its all you can eat. The chicken and waffles was amazing, they have a waffles station, omelet station.
