Dupont Nails and Spa: what do users think?
Savanna Nikole
Savanna Nikole: Best nails ive ever had! We made appointments arrived earlier than expected (traveling) by about 30min they took us and the lady i had was magnificent! She took her time, explained everything, and NOT one nail was Crooked!!!! She never tried to pressure me into "better products" she offered, i said no thank you and she kept on with her work. If i lived in the area i would never go elsewhere. Fyi: its a very small tight space but they honestly do make the best of it, when i first walked down there my anxiety went crazy but they offered wine and everyone was very organized and polite.
Aida Abedini
Aida Abedini: Great experience with Jenny! I’ll definitely come back!Service: Dip powder
Rikki Miller
Rikki Miller: Had the great luck of getting Sam on my first trip to Dupont Nails. Have now seen her twice and am absolutely in love with her attention to detail and sunshiney personality. I loved the color on her nail when I visited this weekend, and she was kind enough to go find the bottle to paint my nails the same color instead of what I had picked out. I also had the misfortune of two broken nails- one broken down the center, and she knew exactly how to fix them and make them look beautiful despite the short length. I have my next appointment scheduled and cannot wait to see her again. She is truly the best!
Maddiw215
Maddiw215: The SNS selection was only maybe 50 colors, and the manicure was the worst I’ve had in DC. Multiple nails are different lengths and the polish is uneven at the base on multiple nails. The reason I give them two stars is because the nail technician was willing to try and make it right but really it was unsalvageable.
Sydney Wilson
Sydney Wilson: I visited this salon for the first time and got Sam as my technician. She was fantastic, super sweet, and had the most amazing attention to detail! I will definitely be back!
Madison Bowers
Madison Bowers: Jenny did an amazing job!
Pamela Agava
Pamela Agava: The technician was nice and courteous and did a great pedicure but was horrible at shaping and doing overlay for my hands. When I asked for a new person she begged me to let her finish and assured she was going to make it right. End of story, I left with her drawing blood through careless use of the tools on three different fingers and a nail overlay that looks like a five year old did it. All I can say is beware here—there are qualified techs and obvious novices. This place takes the relaxation out of services because you have to watch everything until you’re certain what kind of tech you have.
Diana Moreno
Diana Moreno: The only place where gel nails have lasted up to 4 weeks! Have visited other places and getting my nails done have not been the same. All the girls and the gents are great but my very most favorite has been Jessica. She can give the best manicure Ever! All are very friendly and you can get wine to drink while getting your nails done. No better place in DC.
Response: We love this review, Diana! It's just great that the team has done such a great job with your nails -- we can't wait to let Jessica know what a wonderful impression she has left. Looking forward to next time! -Kathy and Zhen L., Managers

Amy's Nails & Spa: what do users think?
Amy Rosenquist
Amy Rosenquist: We were so impressed with this salon! They were precise, they were very flexible with the timing of our appointment, and they even stayed open later than usual so that we could make it! We all got both pedicures and manicures. Their color selection was massive and they did great French gel for 2 of us! They offered drinks (water and soda) which was very refreshing. The pricing was a bit higher than I was used to, but I’m not from DC so I expected it to be a little pricier up here anyway.
Tyneika Winston
Tyneika Winston: Pretty Good Results but pricey!? My best friend and I came to her salon for gel pedicures and and they turned out pretty good to say the least .First of all, We wasn’t offered any drinks or refreshments and I kinda started to get the feeling she didn’t want us there, We had a bit of a scuffle with Ms.Amy about her prices and ask her why her prices on her menu outside are different from the prices she wanted to charge us, she responded with “ It was because of COVID”; but we came to an agreement of 45$ per person; which I thought was pretty pricey for a gel pedicure but it turned out good and lasted 3 weeks it. Might return to this establishment Services: Pedicures , Foot massage
Jordan Mathews
Jordan Mathews: I had the best experience at Amy’s. I got the basic mani spa pedi combo for $60. The massage you get as a part of the spa pedicure made the price worth it alone! Everyone was kind, the quality of the services were stellar and the environment was clean and peaceful. They had great music playing in the background, too. I’m sold! Amy’s is going to be my go-to nail salon. Looking forward to going back! Services: Pedicures , Manicures
Jonnai Howard
Jonnai Howard: Positive: QualityThe staff were super friendly, quick, and definitely left me satisfied with what I got. I also received the milk and honey spa pedicure which was amazing, and I would suggest anyone to try it out sometime :) If you’re reading this go check them out!!
Myrna Daher
Myrna Daher: If you are concerned about hygiene, sanitization, genuine communication and professionalism then I would chose another salon. The barbicide used may not be clean and changed as often as it should - being that tools are shared far too quickly once put into the barbicide. The overall upkeep is messy and unprofessional. I truly enjoy supporting small businesses. After being a customer with Amy’s for many years, I ignored her tendencies of being friendly with selective customers and her disingenuous attitude. As I enjoy supporting small businesses, I tried to ignore my experience and discomforts but I will not be silent. Amy appears to be kind but truly shes a bitter rude woman. I had an appointment for 10:30 AM today and I showed up 6 minutes late (15 minute grace period) she spoke rudely to me trying to convince me that my appointment was for 10AM. I tried to effective communicate with her and clarify the misunderstanding but Amy continued to lie, yell and be rude. Amy and her niece her, employee but were sitting on their phones - could have serviced me. Could have compromise with accepting may be there was a misunderstanding. But if you don’t need the money that bad to lose a customer then maybe invest in - proper plexiglass, barbicide, tools, clean up your salon and certainly hire another employee. Such a joke - I definitely saw mice droppings near the restroom - next to your mini kitchen- foul. Get it together Amy. Services: Pedicures , Manicures
Fredrick Bernard III
Fredrick Bernard III: My wife got a lovely gel manicure today at Amy’s. She loves this place and says the owners are just fabulous and the store is very clean highly recommend for anyone looking for an excellent nail job in DC
NatFan
NatFan: 10 stars for the pedicures and massages. The man who manages the pedicures really takes his time and gives you a 5 star experience. He’s also professional and kind.
Andrea Zulaica
Andrea Zulaica: Positive: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueThe whole experience was great! Quality of nails & service exceeded expectations. Plus very well priced! Thanks again!Services: Manicures, Nail art
Mia Huang
Mia Huang: Amy was absolutely amazing and so sweet. I did French tip there and it was super cute! Will go again next time I need my nails done.

nailsaloon (Logan Circle): what do users think?
Lindsey Reyes
Lindsey Reyes: I just moved to DC and was worried about finding the right salon, but my first visit to nailsaloon impressed me so much I’ll be back! My nail tech’s name was Altan. I got a gel mani with gel removal with nail art/French and paid $68 before tip Pros: - My nail art came out exactly how I wanted - They put sunscreen on your hands before the gel mani to protect from the light in the lamp - Clean atmosphere, I saw surfaces sanitized regularly during my appointment Cons - gel color selection is limited
Response: Hi Lindsey! First, WELCOME to DC! I am so glad you found us and that you enjoyed Altan's mani! And, re: our gel selection, we're constantly adding new colors so hopefully next time you come in, you'll spot some fresh additions to our gel section. XO, Andrea
Yvette Nunez
Yvette Nunez: Great front desk staff, great aesthetic, and techs were rhythmic in how they worked the room. My nails and feet look and feel pampered. Definitely make an appointment on weekends. So many came in without and had to be turned away.Services: Manicures, Pedicures
Response: Hi Yvette! This review... makes me feel like I'm watching a ballet. Thank you! (Although managing the nailsaloon floor, some would argue, is a bit of a dance). So glad you enjoyed your visit and that your nails and feet look and feel pampered. XO, Andrea
Genesis Cisneros
Genesis Cisneros: Wanted to love this location, I usually go to the one in Capitol Hill. I got a gel manicure and it’s already begun chipping, not even a week in. Also, it’s clumped by the cuticles and to be honest the space between the polish and the nails looks as if I’ve already had them done for a week. I didn’t notice until after and didn’t have time for her to remove it all and do it over. Pretty disappointed and will not be back to this location.
Response: Hi Genesis, thanks for taking the time to let us know how we did... we are sorry about this extra space between your cuticles and nails and about this clumping (?). Would love to ask you some questions and troubleshoot so if you are willing, please send me a note (andrea@thenailsaloon.com) so we can try to understand what happened here. XO, Andrea
Nathalie Denham
Nathalie Denham: The whole staff is so friendly, the salon is so clean, i can’t say enough good things! Ask for Yvonne and tip her well!! They do not skimp on any part of the treatment. I get gel nail polish here now but i used to only do regular organic polish and i swear it lasted almost as long as gel! Totally worth every penny. Space is also beautiful and you’ll never have a more luxurious pedicure chair (it’s literally personal leather couches!)
Response: Nathalie! What a lovely review... and are thrilled you had such a good experience. We appreciate the love, so thank you for sending it our (and Ivonne's) way! XO, Andrea
Jeffrey Bird
Jeffrey Bird: I had an excellent manicure and pedicure here. Extremely clean and professional. I enjoyed my massage and left very relaxed. I will be back. Thanks!
Response: Ahhh Jeff, thanks for this lovely review. I am so happy to know you enjoyed your massage and got some relaxation in before the long weekend. Thanks again! XO, Andrea
Smita Jacob
Smita Jacob: This is a “toxic free” type nail salon, so they don’t offer gel manicures. The nail polishes are displayed in 3 baskets on the front counter. The receptionist was friendly and the reason I stayed. They were able to remove my old gel manicure ($10) and I chose the speedy manicure $22. The receptionist offered me something to drink. My manicurist on the other hand, wasn’t friendly at all, and she didn’t like my feedback during the session (when a bubble appeared on one of the nails) but in the end it turned out okay. It’s hard to wait for a regular nail session to dry once you’ve done gel polish, but that’s personal preference. My manicurist tended to a gentleman after me, and didn’t come back to check if mine were dry after about 20 minutes, so I asked the receptionist if I could leave. Again, very nice service from the receptionist. The ambiance is pretty, although the chairs are not comfortable. They do sterilize the nail equipment and package the utensils individually before attending to each customer. I like that they wear scrubs as a uniform, makes the place look nicer. They took me in without an appointment, which I appreciated.
Response: Hi Smita, thanks for leaving us your detailed review. We really appreciate the kind compliments for our front-of-house team, but would love to get a little more info. about the poor service you say you experienced otherwise. :( Would you be willing to connect with us via email (andrea@thenailsaloon.com)? Feeling like someone didn't treat you well is not - at all - the way we like to do things... so we're pretty bummed to read your words. Sincerely, Andrea and Claudia
Jessica Corley
Jessica Corley: Manicures and pedicures from this location seem to last longer than others. Each time I’ve had an appointment, I’ve been helped promptly. It is $30-40 more than the average salon price.
Response: Thanks for the 5-star review, Jessica! We're so glad you have found durability in our services... and are thrilled to know each time you've come you've been seen promptly. Now... about these prices: our manis are $32 so let me know where you're getting a mani for $2. ;) XO, Andrea
Maggie Kash
Maggie Kash: I have been coming to nailsaloon for years and it is hands down 😂 the best salon I have ever used. The ambience is lovely and the staff always does a great job.Services: Manicures, Pedicures
Response: Maggieeee! 😂😂😂Who does not love a pun? Thanks for the love... and the giggle. We are so glad you enjoy your visits! XO, Andrea

Deep Blue Nails & Spa: what do users think?
Caroline Frentz
Caroline Frentz: I’ve been going to Deep Blue for a while and they always do an amazing job! I just got a gel manicure with nail art and my nail tech did such an incredible job. I love itServices: Gel manicure, Nail art
Response: I appreciate your time leaving a very kind feedback for our store. We are happy to make our customers happy. See you soon.
윤아 YOONA
윤아 YOONA: The stoe is clean and people are nice. But Loni was rough. I told her it hurts but she continued with hard pressure... Eventually I had 3 bleeding events. Also she poured the powder on the table and reused it. She needs to focus on. The result was not bad.
Response: I am so sorry about the bad experience you had with us. I wish you could tell me right there so that I would help you fix it. It is never late to fix a mistake. Please call our store and mention about this message and we can make you happy again.
Amanda Garley
Amanda Garley: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThey use separate cups for the dip powder and sanitize those as well. My manicurist Trim did an excellent job, nails were not thick. Even convinced my friend who didn’t like powder to give it a try!Services: Dip powder, Manicures, Pedicures
Response: Thank you very much for your reviews. We always try our best to make you happy. Please come back soon.
Taylor Lohman
Taylor Lohman: Made me wait forever without giving me actual wait time (also did that to someone sitting next to me) and my nails didn’t come out that great for a regular French tip. I had things to do couldn’t even get my toes done took so long. The staff was kind of rude. Wouldn’t recommend spend your money elsewhere.
Response: Dear Ms. Base on the service record and camera footage. We didn't service you here. I don't know where you have gotten your nails done at. But please down this review. This is blasphemy. That's not right at all. Thank you.
Ariyana Monee
Ariyana Monee: Pretty nice pedicure. Only negative is that I have cuts on my toes from her pushing my cuticle back so hard and filing my skin :/ .Service: Pedicures
Response: You are very nice. I appreciate your time leaving feedback for our store. See you soon.
Ivy Fortner
Ivy Fortner: Positive: Professionalism, QualityDeep Blue did an amazing job! I got a classic pedicure and SNS. This was my first time doing SNS but now I’m hooked. They were clean and attentive to detail. I will definitely be going back.Service: Pedicures
Response: Thank you very much for your reviews. We always try our best to make you happy. Please come back soon.
Gabrielle Doria Rhoads
Gabrielle Doria Rhoads: The employees and the space is nice, but I got a pedicure and gel manicure a week ago and the gel started chipping off almost immediately and then a large portion of it just peeled off out of nowhere. It felt like they were rushing us through and it didn’t cure long enough. The nail tech also made both my feet and hands bleed when cutting the cuticles and my toe was very swollen and painful for about 2 days afterwards. I don’t find the quality to match the price.
Response: Hi, I would like to apologize for your bad experience with us. I wish I were there to fix your issue right there when it happened. It is not too late to make things right. Please give us a callback and we can discuss how can we fix it. I appreciate your sympathy. Thank you.
Dena Bagby
Dena Bagby: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueGreat place and easy to make an appointment!! My nails look great and were done in no time. All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The price is very reasonable as well. I will definitely be back when in town again.Service: Manicures
Response: I appreciate your time leaving a very kind feedback for our store. We are happy to make our customers happy. See you soon.
Natalie Mack
Natalie Mack: I went there to just get 1 broken nail fixed since I was only not even a week ago and I waited almost an hour. I eventually just walked out. Meanwhile there are people in the back who could have easily assisted in helping since they said they could take me Roberto- My nail was completely all soaked and taken off within the first 20 minutes. Your workers are very nice, but have no regards to people’s time. It does not take nearly an hour to remove one nail, as it was already taken off with just one wipe of a towel that I did. Your responses to constructive criticism is very unprofessional
Response: We’d like to apologize for the not so good experience you had on your last visit. I can ensure you and our customers that this is not usually happened here at our salon. So please consider coming back and let us have a chance to make it up for you. Thank you and hope to see you soon.

Allure Nail Bar: what do users think?
Sam Wynn
Sam Wynn: This is seriously one of the best nail salon I’ve been too. Lynn and the staff were friendly and very professional. They care and did an amazing job on my manicure and pedicures this week. I came in and got a power dip manicure plus a deluxe pedicure. My nails came out with perfect thickness and color and my pedicure was a very relaxing one. All cuticles were cut clean and they did an excellent job with my toe polish. Very expert and efficient. I have to admit every single dollar spent here was worth every cent. Several of my friends were referred by me and they’re now regulars here. The best nail salon in Washington DC, hands down. Can’t wait for the next visit.
Response: Hi Sam! It was a pleasure taking care of you. Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback. We appreciate the time you took to let our team know that you noticed our efforts towards superior care and service. We hope to see you again, real soon.
J3rric3 _
J3rric3 _: To start off, the lady who did my nails kept cutting my cuticles which caused me to bleed. They do not have prices for dip powder nails unless you specifically ask. I ended up getting gel polish with tips, and my nails came out bulky and uneven. This place is good for a quick pedicure, but not full sets. My roommate also had a horrible experience.
Caitlin Earle
Caitlin Earle: I live right around the corner so convenience-wise this nail salon is the best option. There are multiple other salons within a 5 minute walk and I never go to those places because this is a great salon! I get gel manicures and pedicures and have been happy with every nail technician who has worked with me. I want to particularly shout out Julie who did a flawless job for me the first time she helped me and since then I have asked for her every time. Her gel manicures have lasted 3+ weeks every time and she also never hurts me when she trims my cuticles, which is a big concern for me! All of the ladies who work here are meticulous and the atmosphere and customer service is great.
Response: Hi Caitlyn! Thank you for the wonderful review and for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Our priority is quality and customer service and we are ecstatic that we met that mark! Customers like you make our job a pleasure. Come back and see us soon.
Ericka Morales
Ericka Morales: Went with my friend for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. We were looking for places that still had slots & when I called the lady was able to make an appt for both of us. We were attended pretty fast, showed them what we wanted and the results were great. The price was reasonable as well. Only reason it’s 4 and not a 5 was because I had to wait a bit for another lady to attend me to finish my nail design that I wanted. But they came out beautiful!
Response: Hello Ericka! Than kyou for your feedback and we're happy you were satisfied with the results. We appreciate you letting us know where we can improve as we're thriving to ensure quality for our customers. We will share this with all our technicians to make sure that our clients have our full attention. Look forward to serving you better in the future.
Sebli Deju
Sebli Deju: I got my eyelashes done on Friday may 13. I explained to the lady that I wanted my eyelashes to the certain way. The answer she gave me was ‘ Don’t worry’ which I thought was real and I thought she really understood what I meant. The place is all about money. They don’t care about the customer’s needs. All they tell you is not to worry which means you should worry more than ever because they are going to make you look something you don’t like or something they think would cost you more, but not your choice. After taking more than 2 hours on my eyelashes I told the lady that I didn’t like the look. It wasn’t the way I wanted it or the way I explained it to her in the beginning. Her answer was still ‘don’t worry don’t worry I’ll fix it and I’ll charge you less’. This isn’t about the money woman. I could have payed better if the service was the way I wanted it. You guys should start Caring about satisfying your customer’s needs not your benefit from doing wrong. I hate the experience and I’ll never try to get it back again at this place. I’ll never recommend people to go there and get upset either. Service: Eyelash extensions
Monica Reyes
Monica Reyes: At my job, it’s critical that I don’t wear vibrant colors; including pink. I showed them this reference picture multiple times, and emphasized multiple times that I want a clear or tan-like base. They completely ignored my wishes and use the language barrier as an excuse as to why they didn’t go with what I asked for. On top of ignoring my wishes, and proceeding to paint my nails pink, due to them not being organized and trying to take as many customers as possible they messed up this very simple design and tried covering it up instead of fixing it. This mess was a total of nearly $70. Save your money and go to someone who truly appreciates nail art, and offer better prices. Services: Acrylic nails , Nail art , Gel manicure
Response: Thank you for for review and feedback. Sorry that our works did not meet your expectation. Our staff select the closest possible color for your nails. If you're not satisfied with our works, please let our manager know before leaving and we'll do our best to correct it for you.
Que “Cookie” Irving
Que “Cookie” Irving: the staff is nice & attentive but the only thing i don’t like is they are a little overpriced but the quality is leveled to the price so i understand. my nails been on since march 8th & i still have my full set on. i do have different ladies to do my toes & nails separately.Services: Pedicures, Gel manicure
Response: Hi Que, Thank you for taking your time to provide valuable feedback related to our salon. We are sincerely concerned and apologize that we fell short of your expectations. We’ll learn from the experience to ensure better service for our customers.
Naomi Kumar
Naomi Kumar: This is the first time in my life that I’ve gotten a mani/pedi that didn’t chip within 24 hours. I have long nails and work with my hands so they tend to chip easily but it’s been a few days and they are still perfect! I’m so amazed. The artist was very sweet, made sure I was happy with the finished looks and really helped the pain in my feet from the callous remover sugar scrub. She also did a really nice massage on my legs and arms. Will definitely go back! Services: Manicures , Pedicures
Response: Hi Naomi! Thank you for giving us a try and glad that you are satisfied with our services and enjoyed the atmosphere. Your kind words mean a lot to our staff and it was our pleasure having you. Hope to see you again soon.

Persimmon Nail Spa Washington: what do users think?
Tiffany Phu
Tiffany Phu: We loved everything about this nail salon. Right when we walked in, we were welcomed with drinks and sat immediately. The massage chairs were comfortable, friendly service, and I loved how my nails turned out. Highly recommend! Good for bigger groups too since they have the space. We felt like we were in a spa!
Krystyna Graham
Krystyna Graham: I have been coming to persimmon nail salon for years. I typically get gel pedicures; a select few times in the past I’ve gotten gel manicures. I am always pleased with my results, it doesn’t seem to matter who I see. I like that they offered different levels of service beyond just the standard pedicure. I typically go for the deluxe or spa pedicure for the extra exfoliating scrub, foot and leg massage with oil, and hot stones. I also love that they serve mimosas/champagne! The nail techs are always friendly and accommodating. And I’ve been pleased with how long the polish lasts. And other salons, due to their rushed techniques, I’ve had gel polish actually come off within 36 hours which is totally unacceptable! That’s never happened here. So if you’re looking for a solid gel Mani and Pedi, this is a great option. My only gripe is that street parking can be difficult to find in this location! Services: Pedicures , Gel manicure
Jenna Alves
Jenna Alves: I was hesitant to write this and I’m not even a review person, but I want to save someone some money. I will say they were very nice but the manicure was bad. I came here after looking for a while and read a decent amount of very good reviews, but I will not be back. I got a gel manicure that started to crack and lift after 1 week! Not to mention I paid $57 for it!! Not including tip. The design I asked for was simple lines with a French tip and it was messy and not symmetrical. There wasn’t even enough polish on one nail and you could see straight through it… and it was black polish. Save your money. Service: Gel manicure
Brynn Smith
Brynn Smith: Shortly after landing in DC for vacation from Tx I broke one of my dip nails pretty bad. I went into panic mode researching to find a good place to get my nails redone. 4pm on a Friday and they didn’t hesitate getting me in. All were friendly and I’ve never had such a great set of dipped nails, seriously. None of them seemed to be rushing their clients and they all seemed to be talking to their regulars like old friends. Seems like a great place to go if I lived here.
Kalli Chamberlain
Kalli Chamberlain: Critical: QualityAbsolutely awful gel manicure. I got my nails done on Thursday late afternoon and these are what they look like today. You can see brush strokes and they look dirty (and they are not). Definitely not worth $37!!!Service: Gel manicure
Andrea Lennon
Andrea Lennon: Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueA family member recommended this place and I was excited because her nails always look good and she’s picky like me. I got the dip with tips. My nails are uneven, lumpy and look like they have dips in them. The nail tech Holly was very rude and basically put me out because I questioned my nails.Service: Dip powder
Oulimata Khoule
Oulimata Khoule: I was charged $70 for nails that look nothing like I wanted. I was told that the french tip design was too complicated (the second picture). My nails are uneven and very thick he did not take the time to file them correctly. They initially asked more $99 which did not make any sense for short nails. I have gotten longer nails at that place for less. They have offered drinks for all the to guests in the salon but me. I felt racially profiled they even refused to give me a hand massage after the service. As a fourth year student in DC, I have been there many times and recommended friends. I will never return and I will go to another nail place to take these things off. I would not recommend especially to people of color. Service: Acrylic nails
a
a: I made a last minute appointment, and I was taken care of right away. The man who did my acrylic nails was amazing, from the conversation to his work. He knew that I don’t get my nails done often, so he took time to help me pick out colors and didn’t rush even when the store had closed. He gave me extra at home care for my terrible cuticles, and decided last minute to add the gem on my finger. I didn’t pick it out, but he told me that he wanted me to feel like a princess for my birthday coming up. Wow, I’ve never had such a great interaction with a nail tech! Thank you for making me feel so special! I’m still smiling about how much he uplifted me.
Meghan Chaney
Meghan Chaney: This was my second time here. The first time was amazing and my gel manicure lasted 3 weeks. Second time not so much. Got my gel manicure on a Wednesday afternoon as of Friday morning all but two nails are completely gone. Gel is supposed to last minimum 2 weeks without chipping and this has never happened to me anywhere else. Worst part is this happened right as I’m leaving town for a wedding. Don’t trust this place!

Enchanted Nails & Spa: what do users think?
Sallie Dehler
Sallie Dehler: Great experience getting my nails done here before my wedding. The technician was meticulous and so nice. Will definitely return!Service: Pedicures
Response: Congratulations!! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day! We're so happy to hear that you had a great experience with us. We hope to see you after the honeymoon!
Ranya Belkhir
Ranya Belkhir: I went to this place cuz it had good reviews but I’m really disappointed. I got dip powder on my nails and just a regular pedicure and paid $95 total. The very next day my pedicure was chipped on my big toe and then within 1 week almost all my toes a chipped. I’ve never had a pedicure so this. And also with the dip mani the lady who did them made them go past my cuticles s which made 5 of my start lifting within a week. Services: Pedicures , Dip powder
Stephanie Enaje
Stephanie Enaje: Cheap, Sub-Par Service. Based on my experience and the reviews here, you GET what your PAY for! This is a review of the “esthetician” who did my leg wax. She left behind PATCHES of stray hair and had the nerve to say “All Gone” like I didn’t have two eyes to see it myself. She attempted to tweeze the strays with CHEAP tweezers to no avail. I asked for th tweezers and finished the job MYSELF! Ha! Thinking back, I shouldn’t have paid for this “service”. Are they even licensed? Go anywhere but here ladies.
Myra Betron
Myra Betron: If you have time to waste or don’t go by a schedule this is the place to go. Even when you make an appointment you have no guarantees a lot and may wait almost an hour as I just did. The business takes walk ins without consideration for the people that booked in advance. As someone with a busy schedule, I just can’t patronize this business anymore. Services: Pedicures , Manicures
Madeline Black
Madeline Black: The nail artists here are so friendly and talented. They guarantee gel manicures for 2 weeks.
Laura Carter
Laura Carter: I love coming here! They follow all CDC guidelines, so it is super clean and safe with cleaning, social distancing, and required masks. They have a very relaxing spa-type feeling with complimentary drinks, so sit back and relax and enjoy! Their prices are reasonable & they offer cash discount plus guarantee their gel manicures. Go!
Lourdes Rnc
Lourdes Rnc: Terrible work. I ordered french. The white lines are not straight nor at the same level. The nails are not well covered with polish, but my fingers are. If you see them close, you can see every layer of coat wrongly placed. I kindly asked the girl to fix them, but she end up doing them worst. 12 hours later, the polish is already falling. My friend ordered regular manicure. Hers was awful too and started falling an hour later. We are not coming back.
Miah D
Miah D: I’ve been coming here for years for pedicures and they do a good to play job. So, I thought I’d try a manicure. I got a manicure on Monday. Today is Thursday. The job was sloppy. My nails aren’t even, and are shaped on an odd slope. Topcoat is caking and cracking on my cuticle beds. Yesterday—Wednesday the gel started to get hairline cracks and fractures at the top. Today, one started completely cracking. While the pedicures are decent, sadly I cannot recommend a manicure. I have pics, but I’m not sure how to post them. Pedicure—recommend. Manicure—do not recommend Services: Pedicures , Manicures , Gel manicure

Wisconsin Nail & Waxing: what do users think?
Monica Sharp
Monica Sharp: I’m someone who usually only trusts myself with my nails, but I’m glad that, after 5-6 years of not having professional service done, I trusted my hands and feet to the folks at Wisconsin Nail and Waxing! Online scheduling was a breeze and done 2 hours prior to. Upon arrival, I was greeted right away and the gentleman (sorry, I didn’t catch your name) got right to work. He was patient with me as I decided which color and nail art I wanted to try, and very friendly. Another young lady did my pedicure and she was just as friendly and helpful as the guy was. Honestly, I got that vibe from everyone who worked there. The salon itself is small and intimate—I even struck up conversation with a couple other clients, and that has never happened to me before. It’s also Very clean—the tools were either brand new or completely sanitized. I was a bit surprised that a manicure didn’t come with my dip powder full set, but that’s on me for misunderstanding. Parking is tough, but it’s Georgetown so…that happens and that’s not the salon’s fault. All in all, Wisconsin Nail has a new client! Update (12/18): They did it again! This time, Jenny worked on my nails and executed my gingerbread vision perfectly! I was in a “blah” mood when I came in this morning, and the massages I received, the conversation, and overall service boosted my mood! Update (2/17): “🎵Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name…🎵” This is my second visit since December, and while the work was still incredible (check the pic with the green and yellow nails), this is about the service. I walked in and was greeted by name, and genuinely asked about my recent issues with family loss and illness. This is a salon that truly cares. They don’t only care about you, but they care about your nails too. They saved my nails from the botched job I had done when I had to go home for a few weeks as well. Services: Foot massage , Manicures , Dip powder , Pedicures
Response: You are so sweet. It was great to have you as our customer. Hope to see you soon.
Michelle Heffner
Michelle Heffner: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueHad a great first experience at Wisconsin Nails and Waxing. They saw me right away on a week night. Marla Meyer
Marla Meyer: Expertly executed manicure and pedicure. I have been searching for good nail services for a while and finally found a salon that meets my high expectations. They pay attention to detail including trimming cuticle, filing shapely nails, and polish application. They are sensitive to customer preferences - cut versus file nails, etc. The team works quickly but does not skip steps or make one feel rushed. They encourage comfort and have terrific massage chairs. The salon is very clean and they observe Covid precautions. I highly recommend Wisconsin Nail and Waxing. Services: Manicures , Pedicures
Response: You are very nice. I appreciate your time leaving feedback for our store. See you soon.
Sophie Bright
Sophie Bright: My first time getting my nails done since moving to DC, and I needed something neutral for being in a wedding party. I was very impressed with this spot. They did a great job, very nice, clean and professional. Will definitely be back. Nathan specifically was so great (he deserves a boba!)
Response: WOW. So kind of you. Thank you for your feedback. Have a wonderful day. See you soon.
Jessica Kirschner
Jessica Kirschner: Friendly and welcoming staff. Love my pedicure! Interior is very clean, does not have harsh chemical smell which was very refreshing. I also appreciated the TV volume not being on which made the experience much more relaxing, loved the big windows. Will definitely be returning, thank you!
Response: Thank you very much for your feedback. We were glad to serve you.

JADORE BEAUTY SPA: what do users think?
Sarah Norton
Sarah Norton: I come here frequently and have held off on leaving a review until now. There have been some issues in the past, but I have tried to be understanding and forgiving. I made an appointment weeks ago for a fill today with Pink. I come in today on time for my appointment and am told Pink is not here, and can I wait for Tony to do my nails? I agree thinking it will be a cpl of minutes, and I go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom I’m called by Jenny, the business owner, and told it will be 30+ minutes until Tony arrives. Honestly, I should have left then. When I came out of the bathroom, Tiffany offered to take off my acrylic in order to get things started until Tony arrives. While doing this, another customer arrived for her noon appointment with Jenny who is also not here. So now Pink, Tony, and Jenny are not here. Tiffany asked the customer to wait 40 minutes, then Jenny called and spoke to this customer as well. At this point, the polish has been filed off of 4 of my nails. A walk in comes in to have her nails done and Tiffany leaves me to do this woman’s nails. I don’t begrudge this other customer having her nails done, but really?? The person I’m booked with isn’t here. The business owner isn’t here. Tiffany gets me started, then leaves me minutes into the process to take care of someone else. Since I am waiting 30+ minutes for my appointment to start (even though I booked ahead and was on time) then why couldn’t this walk in customer have waited for a few minutes until at the very least, all 10 of my nails had been filed, instead of just 4?? I can’t very well leave now with 4 nails filed, even though I am thoroughly frustrated. When I expressed this frustration, Tiffany was very defensive saying that I had agreed to wait. And she’s right, I did agree to wait because she was at least getting me started. But now she’s not even helping me. I am one of two customers who made an appointment at noon that is not being seen on time, and not because the salon is running late, but because the employees aren’t even present. What is the point of making an appointment at all if this is the result? Apparently, Pink no longer works here. Jenny should have gone through Pink’s appointment calendar and made arrangements for her customers instead of waiting until I was at the salon to call me. It’s just so disrespectful of her customers time and shows a lack of planning and leadership. Very disheartening. I’m sad to even be writing this because I like this salon a lot, it’s very clean and relaxing and I’m always happy with my service (except the one time I had Tiffany do my nails; big mistake), but this is just no way to do business. I don’t want to leave this place because as I said, there’s a lot to like here and Jenny and Tony are very sweet people. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens when they get here. Update! It’s several hours later. Jenny and Tony arrived roughly 25 minutes after my appointment time. They were very kind and gracious, I said they’re sweet people! Tony took a lot of time on my service and made sure I was happy. He then took a percentage off of the price. Jenny also reached out this afternoon after I got home and apologized again. I’ll stay with this salon for now, as I said it’s very clean and relaxing. Just know that when going to this salon, you’ll be happy with your nails, but appointment times may or may not be adhered to. Service: Acrylic nails
Alia Mull
Alia Mull: Anna was sooooo nice and fast! Very professional. She did a real cute design and wanted to perfect it to make sure i was pleased. The place was spotless and modern/fancy. Everyone was friendly and spoke, it was welcoming. And the price wasn’t too expensive it was reasonable. I’m definitely going back! And I’m so picky it’s rare i say that. Ask for Anna! Service: Acrylic nails
Poojita Sharan
Poojita Sharan: I came in pretty late in the day but Jade was very patient and did not rush me at all. She was thorough and even did some areas for free since I had never removed hair in those places. She was such a treat to talk to and the whole experience was very pleasant! Not to mention, the waxing didn’t hurt as much as it does because she uses a different type of wax based on the part of the body!
Teisha Camp
Teisha Camp: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueJenny is my waxer. I love her she has soft hands and she is very fast. She communicated with me the whole time to make sure of my comfort. This is a very relaxing place to get pampered. I will be back. I have found a new spa home.Services: Pedicures, Body Waxing, Waxing
nikola vulic
nikola vulic: My first experience with waxing and Jade did outstanding job, professional and detailed oriented, skilled and exceptional personality made me feel so comfortable that I took a nap during process (even I heard waxing is painful) :))Definitely going back.
Dayton Slye
Dayton Slye: I have been going to Jenny for multiple years and I recommend her to anyone and everyone! She is absolutely amazing! The services are painless, comfortable, clean, and she is meticulous about everything. If I could give 100 stars, I would! Since Jenny has updated her space, I wanted to update my review! I went for a wax and it was still perfect but now she is offering nail services! I got a basic pedicure and a dip manicure and both turned out perfectly. Cindy was the nail tech I worked with and she was so friendly, made sure everything was perfect, and helped me pick colors based off of a design I showed her! Have had the pleasure of working with more of the nail techs and have not had one bad experience. 10 out of 10!
Carly Nicholas
Carly Nicholas: I am so happy I came to Jadore for my first ever brazilian wax. I felt comfortable the whole time and there was nearly no pain! I will definitely be back
Hannah Booth
Hannah Booth: I’m traveling for a work trip and needed to get SNS for my nails and a pedicure. The customer service was amazing and they were very thorough on my nails and toes! I never do reviews like this but needed to shout them out!
Brian J
Brian J: Made me wait an additional 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. No time management or people skills. I left before they could finish. Awful establishment.Service: Manicures

Tenley Nails Washington: what do users think?
Angelina Gonzalez
Angelina Gonzalez: I had Amy do my nails and she did an amazing job. I loved how she did the design, she mirrored the design, which is exactly how I usually want it. They provide amazing service
Emilia Iannini
Emilia Iannini: I got a dip powder manicure with tips. I wanted to get brown french tips. They didn’t have any matte brown colors so I had to pick a sparkly one. The french tip itself is pretty uneven and my nails are extremely thick and bumpy. I also asked for almond and got round. In addition, while my nail tech was drilling and trimming my nails, my cuticles started to bleed. She felt really bad and was really nice about it and got Neosporin. She also told me if I had any issues in the next two weeks that I could come in and she’d fix it for free which is really nice. Their prices are pretty standard, you could go somewhere else and pay the same price for much better service. As nice as my nail tech was, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Service: Dip powder
Fabiola “fab” L.C.
Fabiola “fab” L.C.: Tenley Nails always kills it with me! Love going there; good prices, super sweet technicians, and work that I love for months. Highly recommend 💞
Aliyah Moñet
Aliyah Moñet: I came here yesterday and yesterday will be my last day EVER coming to this establishment. I found this nail salon because I used to go to Wilson and let them do my wax service. So yesterday I went to get a wax the wax was fine no problems with that. The problem is my nails! I had Nom and she was kind of rough and doing my nails fast it was 7 and the store closes in a hour so I guess she wanted to rush doing my nails. Prior to her starting she asked me what length I wanted I told her long but she cut them short. On top of that I told her I wanted coffin shaped nails but she just gave me almond shaped and crooked nails. When she put on the black polish that was also rushed because they are not fully polished. When I told her I didn’t like the length she kept complaining she’ll have to take the whole set off. Like I know ! But I really was annoyed because she went around the shop telling everyone instead of doing what I requested. I already spent $72 and on top a extra $30 for nails you’ll think she’ll be more understanding. However she did take $5 off the set but I’m still not returning and I’m taking these nails off ASAP!!
Adam Billen
Adam Billen: Really nice nail techs, good prices, and I was very happy with my result.
Jane Vander Poel
Jane Vander Poel: I go to Tenley Nails every 2 weeks and have Silk wraps, pedicure and waxing of my eyebrows. I have been going for at least 8 years. They have a clean ambience, they are welcoming and proficient. I have never had any problem with their waxing, in fact it is MUCH better than Elizabeth Arden, where my mother went! I cannot imagine who could have written those scathing reviews that I read! Not to mention that Amy gives the best shoulder rub in town! She also does massages for a very reasonable sum.
Haylie Taylor
Haylie Taylor: Awesome!! The best nail salon in Tenleytown in my opinion. I got a gel full set with Ann, it was her first day today and she did amazing - it comes with a two-week warrantee and a punch card to get rewards. The whole salon is full of happy and friendly workers who give you the service you want and take the time to do a quality job.

Cosmo Nail Bar: what do users think?
Soraya H
Soraya H: Went a week ago because I was in the neighborhood & got a regular dip nail manicure, no acrylic tips. Two nails have chipped and one dip powder base has fallen off. I don’t know what happened to this place in the last couple of years. It used to be so nice & I would always walk out happy. The manicurist who did my nails was kind, shaped them well, I don’t know why they chipped and fell off.
Stephanie Enaje
Stephanie Enaje: This place is going downhill. Maybe it’s the lack of staff. But, they attempt to take walk-ins while knowingly having appointments set. Just say you can’t. There are dozens of nail salons in the area. The owner says “come back in 30 mins” for an eyebrow wax. I come back in 30 mins only to be IGNORED. Then, once I spoke up I was told to wait. GET IT TOGETHER!
kikiblue90
kikiblue90: Came here to fix 2 broken nails with gel, nail tech was considerate to make sure all nails were even and took his time. Asked me to make sure the color was the one I wanted too. Will come again in the future
Anna Sullivan
Anna Sullivan: My nails were ROUGH when I came in. Super short, cracked, cuticles a mess. They were so nice and understanding and truly transformed my nails. Their attention to detail is amazing. I will definitely be a regular customer.
McCauley Mateja
McCauley Mateja: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueYoyo and the team at Cosmo Nail Bar are the BEST! I have been coming here since it opened and have worked with Yoyo for 6 years. The services are always well done and the salon itself is so cute and clean. I don’t trust anyone else with my nails!Services: Manicures, Pedicures
Yaravina Panoso
Yaravina Panoso: Positive: QualityDid a great job on my nails , great service. Definitely coming back
Ashley Newby Lacy
Ashley Newby Lacy: I have been going to Cosmo for 5 years, but the quality has really gone down within the past year. The picture I shared speaks for itself. I asked for a simple nail gradient and instead got a mess and mismatch of colors. Right when he started I told him it was not what I wanted, but he ignored me, continued and was rough on my hands. They then charged me extra for a “design.” I used to love this place and am sad that I will not be returning. Services: Manicures , Waxing , Dip powder , Pedicures

Mimosa Salon: what do users think?
Fricka L.
Fricka L.: Got a great manicure here. $20, regular nail polish, and it looked flawless for 10 days. My staff member paid great attention to detail and started the polish right behind the cuticles. Also the included sparkling wine really adds to the experience
Jessie Caola
Jessie Caola: I used to love this place. My go to place. They gave great service, and felt like a positive experience. The last two times I went we’re unfortunately neither. Had to come back form my gel 5 days after and then they told showed me two ladies who worked there as the only two ladies who could of done my nails, neither were her. Then they said my colors don’t look like the nail color I had, maybe I went somewhere else. Sir??? Did I tell you I was here five days ago and paid with credit card, we could solve this mystery nail tech you allowed to paint my nails and charge me if you just look in the machine behind me. As if I want to come back down twice to get my nail fixed. So rude. Ok never again. Services: Manicures , Pedicures
Janna H.
Janna H.: Extremely rude, and rushed. I’m surprised this place has 4 stars. The nail tech acted as if my filling was a race and he was doing it as fast as he possibly could. The results look like it too. Sadly a lot of salons are like this but I wouldn’t give this one my business a second time. 0/10 Service: Acrylic nails
Janna Hagey
Janna Hagey: Extremely Rushed, rude, didn’t take me at appointment time, couldn’t do basic French. had an appt at 10, didn’t take me until 10:40. When he was finishing the paint job (regular French) it was totally crooked and I asked him to fix it in which he painted OVER the mistake and then was upset when I asked him to correct it the right way (by removing the polish on that nail and re painting) rushed work, rushed results. Wouldn’t go back or recommend to anyone. Service: Acrylic nails
Dr. Joy Dangerfield
Dr. Joy Dangerfield: Solid place to get your nails done and a mimosa... or two 🤭. They have a ridiculous amount of nail colors lol! At least three walls dedicated to gel. My nail tech did a great job on my nails and I have no complaints. They did take a decent amount of time (~ 2 hours for me and 2.5 for my sister... we were the first ones in the store) so don’t make any plans after. Check them out!
Gabrielle Rice
Gabrielle Rice: Mimosa Nails is THE place to get your nails done in Northwest DC! I got a full set with a combination of gel polish and encapsulation. It took my nail technician about 2 hours, but the results were great! She did a great job shaping and was gentle on my nails. There was a chill, nice vibe about the salon, but it was very busy--definitely call and make an appointment before you come in. I did this the day of and was fine.
Shane S.
Shane S.: My new favorite nail salon! Have a refreshing mimosa while you get your nails done in the most artistic way. They offer SNS in ombré! Not many salons offer that technique yet so I was happy to find one that executed it well. Little pricey, but most decent salons around here are and you get what you pay for. I’ve tried going to cheaper salons and they have either cut my skin or the nails looked awful. I’d much rather pay more to be satisfied. Also the SNS job here is done so well it last for about a month.
Judith Lisansky
Judith Lisansky: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityKudos to Mimosa. I went recently for a mani pedi. I had fractured my arm so I wanted to cheer myself up. The fellow who did my nails (sorry I did not get his name) was great. He did a lovely job on my nails and was super considerate of my broken arm. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.Services: Manicures, Pedicures
Crosby
Crosby: I have been going to this particular mimosa location for <1 year and i unfortunately had the worst experience last week. I got my nails beautifully done but unfortunately they popped off and were lifting less than a week later. The lady who was at the front desk was incredibly rude over the phone and scoffed when I insisted i did nothing since i have been getting acrylics for more than 5 years so i know how long they last, esp. @ this salon. After a lengthy convo when I walked in she finally said they could redo my nails and said i NEEDED i full set since they were lifting at the top. I assumed they would be comped because i explained to here i payed 100$ for my acrylics the week prior. i said if they wouldn’t comp them i wanted to take them off. It wasn’t until after my nail person finished my nails that I found out i would still have to pay 45$ for my nails (i was going to tip regardless but then another 10 for tip) so not only did I have to spend three hours of my time but I had to repay for my nails because they charged me for removal + a full set + shape and 20 $ in design for french nails. This experience was highly unfortunate and i would never go here again. Definitely only going to be using the one in navy yard from now on.

Oriental Oasis Nails and Spa: what do users think?
Katherine Koehler
Katherine Koehler: Love this place. Excellent service, everyone is so nice. Clean and excellent location. This plus lunch at the food hall makes for a really nice morning out.
A
A: Amazing salon!! Nice and patient staff. Great service and love the results! Long lasting too.
Simply Satisfied
Simply Satisfied: I was referred there by a neighbor. Nice location. I brought my mother as well. She got a pedicure and I wanted my nails done. After we left? I looked at her feet, they didn’t have that fresh salon look to them to me. Weren’t polished with precision either. She explained that the woman used water that was barely warm and used zero soap in the water. Then took her feet out so quick and moved forward with the pedi. She didn’t use a base coat so her nail bed is dark right now since she removed the polish. As for myself, I wasn’t satisfied, I was asking questions because I only had acrylic nails once and I know they changed the process. This woman acted as if she was patient initially but she began talking about me and my Mom in a derogatory fashion in her language with other techs, so much so till the other ladies beside me that were getting their nails done became uncomfortable. You could see it. I said nothing, I just let them talk but they must remember that just because a person doesn’t look like them, does not mean they can’t speak even a portion of their native tongue. They should stop this practice before the offend the wrong person one day. And no, I didn’t like my nails. Had to file down more because they were too wide. Services: Acrylic nails , Pedicures
Lisa Sullivan
Lisa Sullivan: They were amazing to work with on such short notice. I flew in from out of state and they had the ability to fit me in for a massage, Mani and Pedi. The massage was so relaxing and the hot stones were unreal!
Jenn Richman
Jenn Richman: No appointment needed on Friday afternoon. $43 for gel set with French tips. Nails were not as long as I would have liked when I arrived but they managed to preserve the length. French tips are a bit wider than I’d like but overall nice manicure.
Jon Markman
Jon Markman: Quick and competent; a pain that you have to call to make reservations rather than being able to do it online, but they are great about squeezing people in.
Sarah Hughes
Sarah Hughes: This is maybe one of the best nail salons I have ever been to. I was visiting DC for the week and decided to stop by for a mani/pedi as it was near my hotel - it seriously exceeded all my expectations. Staff were very friendly and professional, space was beautifully decorated and clean, and the quality of service was top notch. Kayla, thank you SO much - you have a gift for beautiful nails <3 See you next time xx

Pure in Heart Nail Boutique - Shaw: what do users think?
Ali Rosen
Ali Rosen: I have been going to Pure in Heart Nail Boutique for 6 years!! They are the best. The staff is super friendly. And, the space is very clean. Plus they have taken extra precautions during COVID. Every time I come my gel manicure lasts for at least 3 weeks. Jenna is awesome! She is great at , and excellent at picking out just the right colors. Strongly recommend!!
Genevieve Kettleson
Genevieve Kettleson: I visited Pure In Heart nails while traveling in the area on a business trip, I got a dip manicure and a pedicure. Both were excellent! The salon is clean, the technicians were professional. The pedicure was very relaxing, with many additional perks like hot towels, hot stone massage, etc. The dip manicure turned out beautifully and Jean put a lot of time into making sure it was perfect! I would highly recommend this salon.
Judy -
Judy -: Have to say that I was left very disappointed after paying $50 for a gel manicure. A strong start with positive, friendly customer service, but one nail had a bubble, and when I pointed it out and suggested it be redone, my nail technician insisted it was fine and just applied an extra coat. Not even 12hrs later, it peeled. When I came back the next day (today), having called ahead that I would come at 1740 (which they said was fine), they were locked with no one in sight. Poor (and expensive) experience, will not come back.
Katherine Ahn
Katherine Ahn: Amazing place! I’ve been looking for a new nail salon ever since I moved to a different neighborhood & I am so happy to have found this place after almost giving up and trying to do my own nails after numerous times of disappointing experiences. The owner of the salon did my nails & told me that she personally trains all the nail techs so the quality of service is standardized. Definitely recommend & will be returning with friends next time!
Erin Goncer
Erin Goncer: Awesome experience! I got exactly what I wanted! The dip manicure is the best I’ve experienced honestly. Will be going back as soon as I need to return! I really like that they have organic and non toxic polish options too.Service: Dip powder
Erin R
Erin R: Amazing! Went to the O street location and got the spa pedicure and nearly fell asleep :) they helped me pick the perfect color for my skin tone too. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Very relaxing atmosphere. A nice escape from the hustle and bustle of DC! Reasonably priced too - def worth the money! I will def be going back.
Pink Ghost
Pink Ghost: This was the absolute best nail salon I have ever went to. They did the same EXACT nails I showed in the reference photo. 100% would recommend and it’s a good price for DCServices: Nail art, Dip powder
Flora L
Flora L: LOVED my visit to Pure in Heart! My nail technician, Nara (?) did an amazing job on my mani and pedi! She was very attentive and friendly! My feet looks amazing now hehe all ready for summer💕
Catalina G.
Catalina G.: They are absolutely amazing!!! Their work is unlike any other nail salon I’ve ever been to. They really dedicate their time to each client. Would highly recommend!

Ella Müller
Ella Müller: They Perfectly Done my Nail Design. i want to change my nail look. Mina suggested me a nail design, after done surprise, Really I am happy to take Their services. I would highly recommended Casabella Salon.
maryn potter
maryn potter: I Had a lovely manicure yesterday with the technician named Tee! He was very Through with my nails and kept going back to make sure that Everything was perfect. I would highly recommended Casabella Salon
Britnee’ Morgan
Britnee’ Morgan: First time trying out this nail salon and they exceeded my expectations! Great customer service and beautiful nail art. Thank you!Services: Manicures, Pedicures
Valerie Miller
Valerie Miller: Large colour selection and the nail technician put a lot of effort into my nails - very happy with them.Great service and friendly staff!
S K
S K: Huy did a wonderful job on my tattered nails. Very clean salon. I will definitely become a regular here.
Lila Vogel
Lila Vogel: I had Dennis this past weekend do tips with a gel manicure. Overall the experience was so pleasant and my nails are gorgeous!! I think it might have to be my favorite manicure I have ever gotten (I’m not even that picky, he just did such an amazing job). First of all, I called Sunday Morning and he was willing to fit me in right then which was very flexible of him. At each step of the manicure process he would make sure I was happy with the shape, color, etc. He also even added jewels to my nails when I asked halfway through the appointment! So accommodating and such a reasonable price point (especially for being in Georgetown)!! Even a week later my nails still look flawless, I am getting compliments, and all the baby jewels are intact! I could not be happier with my nails and experience at this salon. I find no need to go anywhere else in DC! Service: Acrylic nails
Shelby H
Shelby H: My first time being here, came for a date night with my husband. Very nice and clean, updated spot. Great service provided. The owner checked in with us to ensure we were happy and gave us drinks on the house. I really liked that she checked in multiple times throughout the service to ensure temperature of water/towels/hot stones weren’t too hot, and whether I liked the color being applied. Would definitely come again! Services: Foot massage , Dip powder
Neil Kent
Neil Kent: This was by far the worse pedicure I’ve ever received in my entire life. The tech did not offer any options for pedicures like usually, they only performed I’m guessing the basic pedicure, it was was very poor service. I get pedicures pretty often so I’m familiar with what a quality pedicure consist of. This was definitely not quality at all. I was very disappointed. I had a pedicure here before and it was good, but this time it was the complete opposite. Would not recommend. Service: Pedicures
Response: Hi Neil, we are so sorry about your visit that disappointed. To help us improve on our service, can you please give us more information about what was not right from your experience this time? Would you like to come back to have it redone? Please give us a call if you would to make appointment to come back. We will like to make it right for you!

Eastern Market Nails: what do users think?
ameshia hardy
ameshia hardy: I wanted to like this place, it has a nice chill ambiance and they provide wine so it was perfect at first. Then when it was time for my fill in the nail tech popped out her paper towel and pen and started to add additional fees for everything. $70 for a basic spa pedi with gel and $70 for a fill in with a basic dot design on each nail. That’s a rip off. I’ve never paid over $55 for a gel pedi or over $60 for a fill in with a design. These nail techs in here price gouge just to get more money when I was planning to tip well. All those extra charges are your tip. I won’t be returning. I’m not broke but I’m not paying more for services when I know it’s cheaper everywhere else. Services: Manicures , Gel manicure , Pedicures , Waxing , Acrylic nails
Leshia Cushing
Leshia Cushing: My appointment elsewhere fell through, so popped to the nearest place. This place is in a cute location with lots of people-watching but is not one to visit by choice. While I was appreciative of the closely-monitored glass of white wine (served in a champagne flute), the tech was quick to advise owner allows only one. She walks around constantly overseeing the techs and is quick to reinforce mask usage. I’m vaccinated and also want to feel comfortable and pampered at a salon. I was charged more than what is advertised via the website but still tipped 40%. It’s flighty and not as indulgent an experience as should be a nail salon. Won’t be returning but “Kay” did a good job with my nails. Did I file when I got home? Yes. Eh. The search continues. Service: Acrylic nails
Christie Nightingale
Christie Nightingale: I have booked numerous appointments for acrylic nails and basic manicures. I always have found this place to be great - the service and the work performed exceptional. I would highly recommend this salon.Services: Manicures, Acrylic nails
Mattie Curry
Mattie Curry: Good for pedicures, not for acrylics/manicures/nail art. Went in with a picture of exactly what I wanted (a basic, thin, black French tip), and got uneven, thick lines that went halfway down from the nail tip. My nails aren’t even properly glued to the acrylics! I can see the space between my real nail and the acrylic. Had to get them repainted at another salon, and I can’t wait to get the set replaced. It makes me sad, because i had great pedicure experiences here. Service: Acrylic nails
NIKKI HARRIS
NIKKI HARRIS: Need to listen to customer requests and do exactly what that is. When you charge extra for callous remover there should be no callous when the pedicure is complete. Eye lash service should be done without getting glue into the customer eyes. Lashes had glue all over them making it unable to brush and clean the lashes properly during face washing routine. The lashes were stiff from the glue. Overall spent money on services that I was not completely satisfied with. Services: Eyelash extensions , Pedicures , Dip powder
Megha Fernandes
Megha Fernandes: I love this place!! Everyone is great but Nhi is my go to! VERY clean, great atmosphere, and thorough. I recommend this place to everyone!
Laurin Thompson
Laurin Thompson: Let me start off by saying I get my nails done almost religiously every two to three weeks. I know a good job when I see one. This place is rated an overall 4.5 stars and I don’t believe it deserves that high of a rating. I went in with a picture of what I was wanting and everything and nobody who helped me was able to give me what I wanted. Fair enough everyone was very polite, but being nice and friendly doesn’t equal a good job. I don’t think the nail techs are used to people being as watchful and maybe that’s why the stars are so high, but if you want really good quality nails done I’m sorry to say this is not the place for you and I just don’t recommend it.
Dana Peterson
Dana Peterson: Relaxing spa like salon with a peaceful waterfall and great selection of pedi options. The wonderful atmosphere and my world famous hair person in the back makes it one of my favorite places in DC!!

Allure Spa Nails & Hair Salon Washington: what do users think?
Teya Schneider
Teya Schneider: Scam. Way overcharged. Got what was supposed to be a $25 basic manicure, but was instead charged $45 and I didn’t even get polish, which comes with the basic manicure because I was told it would be extra money. He charged me $45 just to remove my 3 acrylic nails. Literally so rude and so terrible.Service: Manicures
Response: Hi Teya S. Sorry for your experiences, you came in with acrylic nails and asked for remove , we did remove and you asked for manicure done and the technician told you what it will be cost. Please understand regular manicure not included with taking off acrylic. Allure team
Carolina Aclan
Carolina Aclan: Had an appointment for nail dipping and fifteen minutes later the technician had not shown up. Very disappointing!
Jessica
Jessica: I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure done in the evening the night before a flight for my friends wedding across the country. Nick who did them seemed to struggle and then he knocked a fan on to my toe nails while doing my manicure. I asked him to check my nails he said stated they were fine. When I arrived home at 8:01 pm and noticed that both my feet were very smudged and air bubbles in my gel manicure I called to see if I could get them fixed the answering machine picked up. In between flights the next day I called to explain what happened and they said come in to get it fixed I explained I’d be away for a week the women who claimed to be the manager stated no problem come back when you return we will fix it. To late for the wedding but fine. Reasonable. Flash forward to the day after I returned when I arrived at the salon the man who also claimed to be the manager stated it was grow out and wouldn’t fix it. I was not asking for the grow out to be fixed just the smudges poor business. Disrespectful and people on different pages. I strongly do not recommend this place as they are very untrustworthy and simply did not want to fix their own mistakes.
sarah emadeldein
sarah emadeldein: The lady who did my nails did a very bad job. She seems new and clueless. I asked her to cut my toenails, she cut them in different shapes and left them uneven and no shaping and she couldn’t understand what am saying. I am very unsatisfied
Response: Hello Sarah E. Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your negative experience with us. Please know that any guest concerns are taken seriously as our guests satisfactory is our main priority and we will take this opportunity to ensure that this will not happen again. Thank you, Allure Team
Elizabeth Osborn
Elizabeth Osborn: Positive: Cleanliness, QualityLove this place! I have four nail salons within a 5 minute walk from my home, but choose to go a little farther to Allure because of how great their manicurists are. I also appreciate that the salon is spacious, so it never feels like you’re on top of people, even when it’s crowded.
Response: Hi Elizabeth O. , thank you for your feedback its means a lot to us. We can’t wait to see you again, Allure team and I appreciated for your supporting. Kenny & Allure team
Sarah Seagrave
Sarah Seagrave: Changing polish to gel is $20 up charge and not listed on menu. Terrible pedicure. Gel is over the cutical so in a week it will be jagged and fall off. I called them and told them about it, and they are going to re do the nails for free. All good in my book
Mary Jane Maxwell
Mary Jane Maxwell: Excellent services! The owners are very professional and have cultivated a loyal and satisfied clientele — especially from the neighborhood! My nails are in the best condition they’ve ever been in thanks to Trish.
Response: Hello Ms. Mary Jane Maxwell We cannot thank you enough for your support! The Allure team and I are looking forward to seeing you again. Sincerely, Kenny & Allure team

Varnish Lane Mt. Vernon Triangle: what do users think?
Jazmynn Croskey
Jazmynn Croskey: Update to my previous review: The salon manager contacted me the next day to hear about my experience and courteously invited me back to have another tech redo my nails with any design of my choosing. They turned out amazing and I sincerely appreciate Varnish Lane making this right. Thank you for making a loyal customer feel valued! I will most definitely be back.
Darrah Joy Clay
Darrah Joy Clay: I live in the Navy Yard and was hopeful this new salon would be a great experience offering a calm and luxurious experience with a quality gel mani and pedi. Unfortunately the quality of their products is terrible. The average gel mani lasts one week at best. The services are upwards of $100 and do not last at all. I’ve been to the salon twice. My first experience someone came in with a similar complaint. My second experience I unfortunately was the person who returned with chipped nails - not just one but 5/10. I encourage anyone who is going for gel to look elsewhere and save your money. Other salons like NailSalon and Cosmopolitan have better longer lasting gel or SNS. It may be that the waterless feature doesn’t fully remove the oils from the body which reduces the effect of the gel. I’ve actually had regular polish last longer. Lastly the customer service is a 6/10 the team is cordial and responsive but not incredibly accommodating given the price and poor quality of their gel materials. They canceled my rescheduled appointment last minute and only offered to fix the damaged nails and not redo the manicure. That would have made it look worse. They weren’t concerned about the quality of the work but rather slapping more peeling gel on my nails. Save your time, your money and find another option. It should be called “Vanishing Lane” because the polish vanishes in days.
Stephanie Ferguson
Stephanie Ferguson: I really want to like Varnish Lane, but in my experience the salon is over priced and quality is lacking. When I received a gel manicure, it only lasted one week before it started chipping and peeling. Also, I came in for a gel mani/gel pedi. I asked if I could make it out at a certain time and was told no because there weren’t enough technicians, but that I could receive a simple manicure with no polish. I had two technicians servicing me but one technician left after my ‘fast lane’ manicure to join a second technician to service a client who came in after me. It seems that I could’ve received my polish and the tech could still service the other, later client once finished with my polish. In all, the ambiance is nice and the salon is clean, but the quality is subpar. Services: Pedicures , Gel manicure
Natia Zakradze
Natia Zakradze: My nails were done terribly. I did gel manicure and one pealed instantly at the same day. I asked to remove the cuticles- it was cut half way. They did repair three fingers but the other nail specialist was too rude… ok, good things - music is good, chairs are comfortable but which is the main thing for nail bar- PROFESSIONALISM, in my case below zero… first and last time there…
Hayley Andrews
Hayley Andrews: Terrible customer service. We called in advance to say we were arriving 10 minutes late and they said it wasn’t a problem. When we arrived, we were told we were only getting a 5 minute manicure due to another appointment and that we had to pay full price and we had no option to cancel. I cannot believe I just paid $28 for a regular 5 min manicure because I arrived 10 minutes late. Super inflexible policy - the worst nail salon I’ve ever visited and the manicure will definitely not last more than a day. We will never be coming back. Service: Manicures
Stacey Maresco
Stacey Maresco: I’ve been here twice in the last 12 months and had a reasonably good experience both times. The nail techs did fine, but they don’t use water which makes the pedicure experience less enjoyable.
Evan Phinney
Evan Phinney: I visited the Varnish Lane Mt. Vernon location the day it opened! Two weeks later and my gel manicure is still going strong! I walked into an amazingly clean and calming atmosphere with the most beautiful wall of nail polish options I’ve ever seen! I was offered a complementary drink and could wait in one of their comfy chairs due to there being space. I had seen a nail design on their Instagram page that I showed my stylist, and she was more than willing to recreate It with the colours I chose! She even improvised for one nail that wasn’t shown in the picture and It looked amazing. My only hesitation is when I go for my next manicure I will be charged to remove gel the polish. Though their base prices are on the higher side, It is worth It for the cleanliness, care and quality of their services! Already booked my next appointment to try their pedicures out!

Glamour Nails: what do users think?
Hannah Trinh
Hannah Trinh: I am seriously in love with these nails and could not have gone to anywhere better. The variety of colors and how hard the workers are is amazing. Jessica did an incredible job with my friend and at the same time helping me with my nails. After that, Andy did my paint coat and he was so incredibly fast and efficient. Three of my nails were really short because of ripping and his precision in adding a fake nail to makeup for the height was so amazing. The conversations with them is super friendly and they know how to choose colors to suit your skin tone. Will probably go again to have flowers added onto these nails.
Response: Thank you very much for your feedback. We were glad to serve you.
Niesha Cyr
Niesha Cyr: Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismMy friend recommended this salon to me. I have only been twice but I have had no issues! They have done great work on my nails! And I always leave loving the product. Very attentive and I love the complimentary drinks! Such a nice Saturday morning activity to enjoy for yourself or friends! Highly recommend and I will be coming again!Service: Acrylic nails
Response: WOW. So kind of you. Thank you for your feedback. Have a wonderful day. See you soon.
Hadassah Yisrael
Hadassah Yisrael: I had a horrible experience at a nearby nail salon and a quick Google searched landed me here. This nearby salon “Glamour Nails” gave me exactly what I asked for. I wanted funny bunny gel color with a French white line for pedicure and a gel manicure. They were efficient at accommodating me, professional, and respectful which I appreciated especially because I was in a rush for a flight. If you are ever in the DC area and frequenting Connecticut Ave for your stay please choose this nail salon. Debby serviced me she did a phenomenal job. Services: Gel manicure , Pedicures
Response: Wonderful. I am smiling reading your feedback. Customers’ satisfaction is the energy for us to work better. Love to have you back soon.
Karla Gonzalez
Karla Gonzalez: First time coming to this salon. I can only say good things! Andy attended me and did not fail. I came in unsure of what I wanted but luckily he suggested an elegant design. Also the staff is super welcoming :) Will definitely be coming here again on my next visit in town!
Response: I appreciate your time leaving a very kind feedback for our store. We are happy to make our customers happy. See you soon.
Chloe Oxley
Chloe Oxley: I had a pleasant experience during my recent visit- I was able to walk right in. Everyone was warm and welcoming! I loved the complimentary beverage options they offered and the salon itself was bright and stylish. I was excited to try this salon out, especially when I realized they just opened. I really loved the herbal spa pedicure! Some minor logistics and timing can be improved. For example, my services did take almost 4 hours. On a positive note, I did feel so relaxed and comfortable that I didn’t notice how quickly time had gone by. One of the main reasons I give 4 stars is because my actual nails were filed down underneath the acrylic overlay, which is very upsetting/doesn’t look great— (before and after photos included). All in all, the final product looks nice and natural, which is key for me. Given they are a new shop, many of these logistics should quickly improve. I’d definitely check them out!
Response: WOW. So kind of you. Thank you for your feedback. Have a wonderful day. See you soon.
Nav Sandhu
Nav Sandhu: The staff is super friendly but not everyone is trained. Andy is the person to see cause he seems to know his stuff. I got a liquid gel refill with gel polish and wanted a snowflake design, opted for the sticker but it never got put on properly. Literally got this done at 5:30 and two hours later it’s coming off. I would come back for a basic service but anything beyond that seems difficult for the staff (however Andy appeared experienced) but they are really nice.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. I am the manager of the store. If you’d like to discuss this further, please contact me at the store’s phone number. Thank you.
Brittany
Brittany: Andy did an amazing job on my ombré dip nails. I would highly recommend him. He is very detailed and made sure that everything was done to my liking. Also, all of the tools were very clean and there was no wait time for me to be seen. I was lucky to find this place.
Response: Thank you very much for your feedback. We were glad to serve you.

Four Seasons Nails and Spa: what do users think?
Roshni Shah
Roshni Shah: Rushed job! I came here to get a full set acrylic with gel nail polish. The work was done as I asked however the finishing touches were done so poorly. Definitely not worth the $70! The nail technician seems in such a rush to finish, she did not bother to check if the nail color was going through to the edges of the nail. The color was applied so lightly, despite the fact that the color was a darker shade and I told her to apply a proper coat. In addition to that, my nails are naturally squoval shaped and I asked her to do a rounded shape, which I understand can be difficult, but she did not take the time to round out the sides. The service was way too rush and keep in mind that I came in at 6:30, with maybe 1 more person after me, and they close at 8. If only they spent a bit more time cleaning up the nails then rushing through. Save your money and go somewhere that isn’t going to just rush through.
Anna Kovalenko
Anna Kovalenko: In terms of moderately priced nail salons, this is the best one I’ve found in DC. I have been going here on and off for about three years now. I haven’t had anyone hurt me, or make my nails look bad. Although, I have had some Techs apply gel polish way too thick, causing it to peel off within a week. I’ve also noticed Techs are better at dip powder and regular polish than they are with gel. Sure, I’d love for the ambience to be a bit more posh, and less hectic (it’s a small space). However, if you are looking for a clean nail salon where you can walk in, and have decent work done without breaking the bank, this is your place. Services: Dip powder , Acrylic nails , Pedicures
Celia Solloway
Celia Solloway: I have been going to this salon for almost 10 years and live in Arlington, VA. The sisters who own this salon could not be any kinder and professional...they go out of their way to provide the best service possible in a lovely and clean setting. They are accommodating and very skilled at what they do...the bottom line is they want you to be happy. I would never go anywhere else...Lina, Cathy, and Cindy are simply the best! Services: Gel manicure , Dip powder , Foot massage , Manicures , Waxing , Pedicures
ibtissam Lhadi
ibtissam Lhadi: I usually go and ask for kami only because I like the fact he’s a detail person and he does a good work. Today I went and I was rushed from my gel pedicure to my dip powder manicure. The services I’m getting are expensive and I never minded tipping l’ami 20% for the service. Before I left I told him that I was disappointed of the work he did ( very thick nails and not even filed properly) and he just ignored it because he’s got a client waiting for him. I live in the neighborhood and it was convenient for me to have a nail place cross the street , but guess what you guys lost a client today. This was my last time coming to your nail salon. Services: Dip powder , Pedicures
Kristen Shipley
Kristen Shipley: I have been here a few times now and never really been totally satisfied with the job that they did on my nails. The polish is lumpy and the shape is off. I asked for almond shaped nails and got oval Not to mention for 1.5 hours, I am not happy. Make sure you speak up if you go here!
Crystal Zipperer
Crystal Zipperer: I just moved to the area and am lucky to have this salon right next door. I’ve been twice and have been helped by 3 different people, and have been 100% happy with each service! It is very busy and a small salon so be patient - but everyone is nice and does a great job. Bc the dip polish works so well I’ve been able to grow my nails out and try different shapes - love it! My pedicures have been very neat and clean as well.
keyonna atkinson
keyonna atkinson: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueOne of the best nail experiences I’ve ever received! The salon was modern yet clean and stylish. And my nail tech Kathy was absolutely amazing my nails have never looked better! I’ll be back forsure!😊😊Service: Acrylic nails
Mara Franklin
Mara Franklin: Came as a walk-in and couldn’t be happier! After taking the very stressful DC Board of Nursing Exam, my appointment at another salon was pushed back by 45 mins, and I decided to try my luck elsewhere. Not only did I get a full set of acrylics and pedicure last minute, but they were super sweet, friendly, and went the extra mile. TMI: I have chronic feet problems after years of ballet, and my tech took the extra time, without being asked, to shape my nails nicely, fix ingrown nails, and pumice callouses. Most places charge a higher fee! Only wish my acrylics were a little closer to my cuticle.
