Dupont Nails and Spa: what do users think?

Maya Patel: LOVE this spot! They do such a great job - salon specialists are professional, great at their jobs and the perfect balance of being friendly yet not overbearing/overly chatty - this allows you to truly relax and do your own thing! People are generally respectful here about not taking phone calls, making it the perfect place to listen to music (headphones always), read or unwind 📚 It also helps that they offer a complimentary drink including water, tea or wine 💆🏻‍♀️

Savanna Nikole: Best nails ive ever had! We made appointments arrived earlier than expected (traveling) by about 30min they took us and the lady i had was magnificent! She took her time, explained everything, and NOT one nail was Crooked!!!! She never tried to pressure me into "better products" she offered, i said no thank you and she kept on with her work. If i lived in the area i would never go elsewhere. Fyi: its a very small tight space but they honestly do make the best of it, when i first walked down there my anxiety went crazy but they offered wine and everyone was very organized and polite.

Aida Abedini: Great experience with Jenny! I’ll definitely come back!Service: Dip powder

Rikki Miller: Had the great luck of getting Sam on my first trip to Dupont Nails. Have now seen her twice and am absolutely in love with her attention to detail and sunshiney personality. I loved the color on her nail when I visited this weekend, and she was kind enough to go find the bottle to paint my nails the same color instead of what I had picked out. I also had the misfortune of two broken nails- one broken down the center, and she knew exactly how to fix them and make them look beautiful despite the short length. I have my next appointment scheduled and cannot wait to see her again. She is truly the best!

Maddiw215: The SNS selection was only maybe 50 colors, and the manicure was the worst I’ve had in DC. Multiple nails are different lengths and the polish is uneven at the base on multiple nails. The reason I give them two stars is because the nail technician was willing to try and make it right but really it was unsalvageable.

Sydney Wilson: I visited this salon for the first time and got Sam as my technician. She was fantastic, super sweet, and had the most amazing attention to detail! I will definitely be back!

Madison Bowers: Jenny did an amazing job!

Pamela Agava: The technician was nice and courteous and did a great pedicure but was horrible at shaping and doing overlay for my hands. When I asked for a new person she begged me to let her finish and assured she was going to make it right. End of story, I left with her drawing blood through careless use of the tools on three different fingers and a nail overlay that looks like a five year old did it. All I can say is beware here—there are qualified techs and obvious novices. This place takes the relaxation out of services because you have to watch everything until you’re certain what kind of tech you have.

Deep Blue Nails & Spa: what do users think?

Caroline Frentz: I’ve been going to Deep Blue for a while and they always do an amazing job! I just got a gel manicure with nail art and my nail tech did such an incredible job. I love itServices: Nail art, Gel manicure

윤아 YOONA: The stoe is clean and people are nice. But Loni was rough. I told her it hurts but she continued with hard pressure... Eventually I had 3 bleeding events. Also she poured the powder on the table and reused it. She needs to focus on. The result was not bad.

Amanda Garley: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThey use separate cups for the dip powder and sanitize those as well. My manicurist Trim did an excellent job, nails were not thick. Even convinced my friend who didn’t like powder to give it a try!Services: Pedicures, Dip powder, Manicures

Taylor Lohman: Made me wait forever without giving me actual wait time (also did that to someone sitting next to me) and my nails didn’t come out that great for a regular French tip. I had things to do couldn’t even get my toes done took so long. The staff was kind of rude. Wouldn’t recommend spend your money elsewhere.

Ariyana Monee: Pretty nice pedicure. Only negative is that I have cuts on my toes from her pushing my cuticle back so hard and filing my skin :/ .Service: Pedicures

Ivy Fortner: Positive: Professionalism, QualityDeep Blue did an amazing job! I got a classic pedicure and SNS. This was my first time doing SNS but now I’m hooked. They were clean and attentive to detail. I will definitely be going back.Service: Pedicures

Gabrielle Doria Rhoads: The employees and the space is nice, but I got a pedicure and gel manicure a week ago and the gel started chipping off almost immediately and then a large portion of it just peeled off out of nowhere. It felt like they were rushing us through and it didn’t cure long enough. The nail tech also made both my feet and hands bleed when cutting the cuticles and my toe was very swollen and painful for about 2 days afterwards. I don’t find the quality to match the price.

Dena Bagby: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueGreat place and easy to make an appointment!! My nails look great and were done in no time. All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The price is very reasonable as well. I will definitely be back when in town again.Service: Manicures

Natalie Mack: I went there to just get 1 broken nail fixed since I was only not even a week ago and I waited almost an hour. I eventually just walked out. Meanwhile there are people in the back who could have easily assisted in helping since they said they could take me Roberto- My nail was completely all soaked and taken off within the first 20 minutes. Your workers are very nice, but have no regards to people’s time. It does not take nearly an hour to remove one nail, as it was already taken off with just one wipe of a towel that I did. Your responses to constructive criticism is very unprofessional

Wisconsin Nail & Waxing: what do users think?

Monica Sharp: I’m someone who usually only trusts myself with my nails, but I’m glad that, after 5-6 years of not having professional service done, I trusted my hands and feet to the folks at Wisconsin Nail and Waxing! Online scheduling was a breeze and done 2 hours prior to. Upon arrival, I was greeted right away and the gentleman (sorry, I didn’t catch your name) got right to work. He was patient with me as I decided which color and nail art I wanted to try, and very friendly. Another young lady did my pedicure and she was just as friendly and helpful as the guy was. Honestly, I got that vibe from everyone who worked there. The salon itself is small and intimate—I even struck up conversation with a couple other clients, and that has never happened to me before. It’s also Very clean—the tools were either brand new or completely sanitized. I was a bit surprised that a manicure didn’t come with my dip powder full set, but that’s on me for misunderstanding. Parking is tough, but it’s Georgetown so…that happens and that’s not the salon’s fault. All in all, Wisconsin Nail has a new client! Update (12/18): They did it again! This time, Jenny worked on my nails and executed my gingerbread vision perfectly! I was in a “blah” mood when I came in this morning, and the massages I received, the conversation, and overall service boosted my mood! Update (2/17): “🎵Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name…🎵” This is my second visit since December, and while the work was still incredible (check the pic with the green and yellow nails), this is about the service. I walked in and was greeted by name, and genuinely asked about my recent issues with family loss and illness. This is a salon that truly cares. They don’t only care about you, but they care about your nails too. They saved my nails from the botched job I had done when I had to go home for a few weeks as well. Services: Manicures , Foot massage , Dip powder , Pedicures

Michelle Heffner: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueHad a great first experience at Wisconsin Nails and Waxing. They saw me right away on a week night. I came in with an exact idea of shape and style for my nails and Jenny executed it perfectly. She was patient and ensured it was what I wanted. I LOVE my nails and will definitely go back again.Services: Manicures, Nail art, Dip powder, Pedicures, Acrylic nails

Anna Normand: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityWisconsin Nails is amazing!! The salon is very clean, well managed and comfortable and they play great music and TV. Minh is an incredible nail artist and is always able to recreate exactly what I want! Can’t recommend the salon enough.Services: Gel manicure, Nail art, Acrylic nails

Marla Meyer: Expertly executed manicure and pedicure. I have been searching for good nail services for a while and finally found a salon that meets my high expectations. They pay attention to detail including trimming cuticle, filing shapely nails, and polish application. They are sensitive to customer preferences - cut versus file nails, etc. The team works quickly but does not skip steps or make one feel rushed. They encourage comfort and have terrific massage chairs. The salon is very clean and they observe Covid precautions. I highly recommend Wisconsin Nail and Waxing. Services: Manicures , Pedicures

Sophie Bright: My first time getting my nails done since moving to DC, and I needed something neutral for being in a wedding party. I was very impressed with this spot. They did a great job, very nice, clean and professional. Will definitely be back. Nathan specifically was so great (he deserves a boba!)

Jessica Kirschner: Friendly and welcoming staff. Love my pedicure! Interior is very clean, does not have harsh chemical smell which was very refreshing. I also appreciated the TV volume not being on which made the experience much more relaxing, loved the big windows. Will definitely be returning, thank you!

Cecilia Myers: Minh did my an acrylic nail design for me a couple of weeks ago and they’re still fully intact! I really love the way they came out and he was super kind and did an amazing job!Service: Acrylic nails

Claudia Pagnozzi-Schwam: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis is my FAVORITE nail place in DC!! I always get manicures and pedicures here. They’re so kind and do a phenomenal job!!! I wish I could give them SIX STARS. I would recommend to all of my friends, and I always do!Service: Dip powder

Abby Sauvigne: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI absolutely love coming to Wisconsin nails. The artists are incredible - good conversation and always do a great job on my nails. I recommend to all my friends! Super easy to make appointments onlineServices: Manicures, Nail art, Dip powder

Tenley Nails Washington: what do users think?

Angelina Gonzalez: I had Amy do my nails and she did an amazing job. I loved how she did the design, she mirrored the design, which is exactly how I usually want it. They provide amazing service

Emilia Iannini: I got a dip powder manicure with tips. I wanted to get brown french tips. They didn’t have any matte brown colors so I had to pick a sparkly one. The french tip itself is pretty uneven and my nails are extremely thick and bumpy. I also asked for almond and got round. In addition, while my nail tech was drilling and trimming my nails, my cuticles started to bleed. She felt really bad and was really nice about it and got Neosporin. She also told me if I had any issues in the next two weeks that I could come in and she’d fix it for free which is really nice. Their prices are pretty standard, you could go somewhere else and pay the same price for much better service. As nice as my nail tech was, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Service: Dip powder

Fabiola “fab” L.C.: Tenley Nails always kills it with me! Love going there; good prices, super sweet technicians, and work that I love for months. Highly recommend 💞

Aliyah Moñet: I came here yesterday and yesterday will be my last day EVER coming to this establishment. I found this nail salon because I used to go to Wilson and let them do my wax service. So yesterday I went to get a wax the wax was fine no problems with that. The problem is my nails! I had Nom and she was kind of rough and doing my nails fast it was 7 and the store closes in a hour so I guess she wanted to rush doing my nails. Prior to her starting she asked me what length I wanted I told her long but she cut them short. On top of that I told her I wanted coffin shaped nails but she just gave me almond shaped and crooked nails. When she put on the black polish that was also rushed because they are not fully polished. When I told her I didn’t like the length she kept complaining she’ll have to take the whole set off. Like I know ! But I really was annoyed because she went around the shop telling everyone instead of doing what I requested. I already spent $72 and on top a extra $30 for nails you’ll think she’ll be more understanding. However she did take $5 off the set but I’m still not returning and I’m taking these nails off ASAP!!

Adam Billen: Really nice nail techs, good prices, and I was very happy with my result.

Jane Vander Poel: I go to Tenley Nails every 2 weeks and have Silk wraps, pedicure and waxing of my eyebrows. I have been going for at least 8 years. They have a clean ambience, they are welcoming and proficient. I have never had any problem with their waxing, in fact it is MUCH better than Elizabeth Arden, where my mother went! I cannot imagine who could have written those scathing reviews that I read! Not to mention that Amy gives the best shoulder rub in town! She also does massages for a very reasonable sum.

Haylie Taylor: Awesome!! The best nail salon in Tenleytown in my opinion. I got a gel full set with Ann, it was her first day today and she did amazing - it comes with a two-week warrantee and a punch card to get rewards. The whole salon is full of happy and friendly workers who give you the service you want and take the time to do a quality job.

nailsaloon (Logan Circle): what do users think?

Lindsey Reyes: I just moved to DC and was worried about finding the right salon, but my first visit to nailsaloon impressed me so much I’ll be back! My nail tech’s name was Altan. I got a gel mani with gel removal with nail art/French and paid $68 before tip Pros: - My nail art came out exactly how I wanted - They put sunscreen on your hands before the gel mani to protect from the light in the lamp - Clean atmosphere, I saw surfaces sanitized regularly during my appointment Cons - gel color selection is limited

Yvette Nunez: Great front desk staff, great aesthetic, and techs were rhythmic in how they worked the room. My nails and feet look and feel pampered. Definitely make an appointment on weekends. So many came in without and had to be turned away.Services: Pedicures, Manicures

Genesis Cisneros: Wanted to love this location, I usually go to the one in Capitol Hill. I got a gel manicure and it’s already begun chipping, not even a week in. Also, it’s clumped by the cuticles and to be honest the space between the polish and the nails looks as if I’ve already had them done for a week. I didn’t notice until after and didn’t have time for her to remove it all and do it over. Pretty disappointed and will not be back to this location.

Nathalie Denham: The whole staff is so friendly, the salon is so clean, i can’t say enough good things! Ask for Yvonne and tip her well!! They do not skimp on any part of the treatment. I get gel nail polish here now but i used to only do regular organic polish and i swear it lasted almost as long as gel! Totally worth every penny. Space is also beautiful and you’ll never have a more luxurious pedicure chair (it’s literally personal leather couches!)

Jeffrey Bird: I had an excellent manicure and pedicure here. Extremely clean and professional. I enjoyed my massage and left very relaxed. I will be back. Thanks!

Smita Jacob: This is a “toxic free” type nail salon, so they don’t offer gel manicures. The nail polishes are displayed in 3 baskets on the front counter. The receptionist was friendly and the reason I stayed. They were able to remove my old gel manicure ($10) and I chose the speedy manicure $22. The receptionist offered me something to drink. My manicurist on the other hand, wasn’t friendly at all, and she didn’t like my feedback during the session (when a bubble appeared on one of the nails) but in the end it turned out okay. It’s hard to wait for a regular nail session to dry once you’ve done gel polish, but that’s personal preference. My manicurist tended to a gentleman after me, and didn’t come back to check if mine were dry after about 20 minutes, so I asked the receptionist if I could leave. Again, very nice service from the receptionist. The ambiance is pretty, although the chairs are not comfortable. They do sterilize the nail equipment and package the utensils individually before attending to each customer. I like that they wear scrubs as a uniform, makes the place look nicer. They took me in without an appointment, which I appreciated.

Jessica Corley: Manicures and pedicures from this location seem to last longer than others. Each time I’ve had an appointment, I’ve been helped promptly. It is $30-40 more than the average salon price.

Maggie Kash: I have been coming to nailsaloon for years and it is hands down 😂 the best salon I have ever used. The ambience is lovely and the staff always does a great job.Services: Pedicures, Manicures

Enchanted Nails & Spa: what do users think?

Sallie Dehler: Great experience getting my nails done here before my wedding. The technician was meticulous and so nice. Will definitely return!Service: Pedicures

Ranya Belkhir: I went to this place cuz it had good reviews but I’m really disappointed. I got dip powder on my nails and just a regular pedicure and paid $95 total. The very next day my pedicure was chipped on my big toe and then within 1 week almost all my toes a chipped. I’ve never had a pedicure so this. And also with the dip mani the lady who did them made them go past my cuticles s which made 5 of my start lifting within a week. Services: Dip powder , Pedicures

Stephanie Enaje: Cheap, Sub-Par Service. Based on my experience and the reviews here, you GET what your PAY for! This is a review of the “esthetician” who did my leg wax. She left behind PATCHES of stray hair and had the nerve to say “All Gone” like I didn’t have two eyes to see it myself. She attempted to tweeze the strays with CHEAP tweezers to no avail. I asked for th tweezers and finished the job MYSELF! Ha! Thinking back, I shouldn’t have paid for this “service”. Are they even licensed? Go anywhere but here ladies.

Myra Betron: If you have time to waste or don’t go by a schedule this is the place to go. Even when you make an appointment you have no guarantees a lot and may wait almost an hour as I just did. The business takes walk ins without consideration for the people that booked in advance. As someone with a busy schedule, I just can’t patronize this business anymore. Services: Pedicures , Manicures

Madeline Black: The nail artists here are so friendly and talented. They guarantee gel manicures for 2 weeks.

Laura Carter: I love coming here! They follow all CDC guidelines, so it is super clean and safe with cleaning, social distancing, and required masks. They have a very relaxing spa-type feeling with complimentary drinks, so sit back and relax and enjoy! Their prices are reasonable & they offer cash discount plus guarantee their gel manicures. Go!

Lourdes Rnc: Terrible work. I ordered french. The white lines are not straight nor at the same level. The nails are not well covered with polish, but my fingers are. If you see them close, you can see every layer of coat wrongly placed. I kindly asked the girl to fix them, but she end up doing them worst. 12 hours later, the polish is already falling. My friend ordered regular manicure. Hers was awful too and started falling an hour later. We are not coming back.

Miah D: I’ve been coming here for years for pedicures and they do a good to play job. So, I thought I’d try a manicure. I got a manicure on Monday. Today is Thursday. The job was sloppy. My nails aren’t even, and are shaped on an odd slope. Topcoat is caking and cracking on my cuticle beds. Yesterday—Wednesday the gel started to get hairline cracks and fractures at the top. Today, one started completely cracking. While the pedicures are decent, sadly I cannot recommend a manicure. I have pics, but I’m not sure how to post them. Pedicure—recommend. Manicure—do not recommend Services: Pedicures , Manicures , Gel manicure

Charming Nails DC: what do users think?

mari fofa: Wow. I love this place. Not only is the customer service amazing. There is plenty of dip powder, and gel options. May I also add the quality is perfection. Helen is amazing and so is everyone there. Very skillful and talented team. I will say this is more of a boutique style salon. Which I appreciate. There is also a point system that I love. Refreshments as well. Services: Gel manicure , Pedicures , Acrylic nails , Manicures , Dip powder

Chiara Nease: I was able to book a same day appointment very easily online. The space is on the second floor and is new, fresh, and clean. The environment is relaxing and the staff is really friendly! Sophia did my nails and she did an amazing job :-) it’s just a pretty, natural color and I feel great about the service. I will be returning ! Edit: went back, got Sophia again and she did this incredible pink ombré look. I love it!! Received compliments too :-)

Hannah F: Had a wonderful experience here! It’s been years since I’ve been, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I saw the recent reviews and thought it was worth revisiting. The salon is super clean and organized. The space is very relaxing. My nail tech, Sophia, did a great job. Her attention to detail was appreciated, she took her time. I felt inclined to leave a review, it was a great experience. I’m always anxious about trying out a new salon.

Nahal: My nails have never looked so good. I pick on my cuticles but Helen was gentle and thorough with cleaning them up. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure - both look great. Thanks Helen! :)

Marlene Mora: Sofia was super polite and gentle!! Her precision with my cuticles and gel polish easily made this the beat manicure ever!! Also super affordable especially right now because of their grand opening special!

Michelle Fenton: Cindy is outstanding! She is professional, knowledgeable, caring and respectful! I had the caveman pedicure and it was money well spent! I have been taking care of my own feet since COVID-19 began and it showed. I feel like I have new feet! They are gorgeous and feel so good! Thank you Cindy and thank you to the Charming Nails Team (Sophia and Helen)for being so welcoming and warm to my daughter and I . She got acrylic nails and they look beautiful! We are both coming back again! Services: Pedicures , Waxing , Acrylic nails

Beth Buckley: Three of us got pedicures and dip powder manicures from Helen, Cindy, and Sophia. The service was fantastic, and I was appreciative of the attention to detail. Thank you so much for such a great experience!!Services: Pedicures, Manicures, Dip powder

LUSH NAIL BAR DC: what do users think?

Thirty Glick: I was so excited to come back because they did such a great job on my Valentine day nails and they actually took care of me with care. Today was the exact opposite, it was a disaster. I asked for a soak off and was in the soak bowl for about an hour straight without even being asked am I okay, didn’t care to ask if I wanted anything to drink but everyone else did. Then the lady doing my soak off “manicure” goes off to take care of someone else the whole entire time. I’m literally watching everyone being attended too and taken care of with appreciation except for me I felt very neglected, I don’t know if it’s bc I asked for a dip at the last minute added to my manicure. Honestly i’m more of the fact upset that they me walk out with my “manicure” that looks like this. I’m sad that I even had to take the time of day to even write this.

Taylor Eaton: I was a first time customer after seeing an Instagram ad of the salon and wanted to give it a try after reading the positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. The staff are incredibly kind and the atmosphere is clean and relaxing. I was seen right on time and the design I requested was executed perfectly. Jenny did a fantastic job and had such an attention to detail. I will absolutely be back ! Services: Acrylic nails , Nail art

anyah le: Great nail salon, they KILLED my nail designs I wanted. Very professional and kind. They also fixed my big toenail that broke and made it look natural as possible 💅🏽

Madison Summers: I wanted to love this place. They have talented nail techs who were able to achieve the looks I asked for however, I experienced some serious attitude after making an appointment online and the staff saying that the manager did not communicate with them about existing online appointments vs calling and making one on the phone. As a result, my tech was rude and distracted and did not give me the full manicure experience of hand massage/lotion/making sure my natural nails were even. It’s still a nice spot in the neighborhood but make sure you call to make an appointment and be prepared to wait even if you do Services: Acrylic nails , Manicures , Nail art

Kyvonne Elliott: I love Lush Nail Bar! A beautiful place to pamper yourself and leave smiling. I always make an appointment and they are always ready for me. I never have to worry if I am going to like my nails. Tori NEVER misses. Everyone is super professional and friendly. This is my place forever. Services: Acrylic nails , Manicures , Foot massage , Pedicures , Nail art

Stephanie C.: Positive: Cleanliness, QualityThis nail salon was recommended by a friend and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! They always do an amazing job on my acrylic nails and pedicures. I love the interior designs, music and the vibes overall. I’ve come here continuously since my first time and my last experience was so great I feel I should only brag! Definitely recommend!Services: Acrylic nails, Pedicures, Nail art

Melanie M: The first time I came here when they first opened, I really enjoyed my experience and recommended several of my friends here. The place is in a very convenient location, it’s clean, I was offered champagne, etc. Overall, it was a very positive visit and I left happy. However recently when I went, I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to finally start on my manicure (after booking my appointment 3 weeks in advance) and both my manicure/pedicure were so rushed. Within 45 minutes, I had finished both and the nail tech was already onto someone else. I left very disappointed and was not happy that I was being rushed on. It felt like the nail tech wanted to just finish with my service quickly so they could squeeze in more clients. I would have hoped that if I made an appointment (especially so far in advance), that they would dedicate extra time on my nails and not treat me like a second priority. For the price I paid, I’m not sure if the service I received is worth it. Services: Gel manicure , Pedicures

Mary Gordon: Great salon, I got a gel manicure and they took me earlier than my appointment time. They have reasonable prices and a nice color selection. I’m really happy with my manicure!

nina washington: I’ve been coming to this place to get my nails done by Tori. It’s super cute inside and everyone is always very friendly.

Alexandra Rose Vigil: Positive: Professionalism, QualityGot my first set of acrylic nails done here, absolutely loved how they turned out!Service: Acrylic nails

Persimmon Nail Spa Washington: what do users think?

Tiffany Phu: We loved everything about this nail salon. Right when we walked in, we were welcomed with drinks and sat immediately. The massage chairs were comfortable, friendly service, and I loved how my nails turned out. Highly recommend! Good for bigger groups too since they have the space. We felt like we were in a spa!

Krystyna Graham: I have been coming to persimmon nail salon for years. I typically get gel pedicures; a select few times in the past I’ve gotten gel manicures. I am always pleased with my results, it doesn’t seem to matter who I see. I like that they offered different levels of service beyond just the standard pedicure. I typically go for the deluxe or spa pedicure for the extra exfoliating scrub, foot and leg massage with oil, and hot stones. I also love that they serve mimosas/champagne! The nail techs are always friendly and accommodating. And I’ve been pleased with how long the polish lasts. And other salons, due to their rushed techniques, I’ve had gel polish actually come off within 36 hours which is totally unacceptable! That’s never happened here. So if you’re looking for a solid gel Mani and Pedi, this is a great option. My only gripe is that street parking can be difficult to find in this location! Services: Gel manicure , Pedicures

Jenna Alves: I was hesitant to write this and I’m not even a review person, but I want to save someone some money. I will say they were very nice but the manicure was bad. I came here after looking for a while and read a decent amount of very good reviews, but I will not be back. I got a gel manicure that started to crack and lift after 1 week! Not to mention I paid $57 for it!! Not including tip. The design I asked for was simple lines with a French tip and it was messy and not symmetrical. There wasn’t even enough polish on one nail and you could see straight through it… and it was black polish. Save your money. Service: Gel manicure

Brynn Smith: Shortly after landing in DC for vacation from Tx I broke one of my dip nails pretty bad. I went into panic mode researching to find a good place to get my nails redone. 4pm on a Friday and they didn’t hesitate getting me in. All were friendly and I’ve never had such a great set of dipped nails, seriously. None of them seemed to be rushing their clients and they all seemed to be talking to their regulars like old friends. Seems like a great place to go if I lived here.

Kalli Chamberlain: Critical: QualityAbsolutely awful gel manicure. I got my nails done on Thursday late afternoon and these are what they look like today. You can see brush strokes and they look dirty (and they are not). Definitely not worth $37!!!Service: Gel manicure

Andrea Lennon: Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueA family member recommended this place and I was excited because her nails always look good and she’s picky like me. I got the dip with tips. My nails are uneven, lumpy and look like they have dips in them. The nail tech Holly was very rude and basically put me out because I questioned my nails.Service: Dip powder

Oulimata Khoule: I was charged $70 for nails that look nothing like I wanted. I was told that the french tip design was too complicated (the second picture). My nails are uneven and very thick he did not take the time to file them correctly. They initially asked more $99 which did not make any sense for short nails. I have gotten longer nails at that place for less. They have offered drinks for all the to guests in the salon but me. I felt racially profiled they even refused to give me a hand massage after the service. As a fourth year student in DC, I have been there many times and recommended friends. I will never return and I will go to another nail place to take these things off. I would not recommend especially to people of color. Service: Acrylic nails

a: I made a last minute appointment, and I was taken care of right away. The man who did my acrylic nails was amazing, from the conversation to his work. He knew that I don’t get my nails done often, so he took time to help me pick out colors and didn’t rush even when the store had closed. He gave me extra at home care for my terrible cuticles, and decided last minute to add the gem on my finger. I didn’t pick it out, but he told me that he wanted me to feel like a princess for my birthday coming up. Wow, I’ve never had such a great interaction with a nail tech! Thank you for making me feel so special! I’m still smiling about how much he uplifted me.

Meghan Chaney: This was my second time here. The first time was amazing and my gel manicure lasted 3 weeks. Second time not so much. Got my gel manicure on a Wednesday afternoon as of Friday morning all but two nails are completely gone. Gel is supposed to last minimum 2 weeks without chipping and this has never happened to me anywhere else. Worst part is this happened right as I’m leaving town for a wedding. Don’t trust this place!

Allure Nail Bar: what do users think?

Sam Wynn: This is seriously one of the best nail salon I’ve been too. Lynn and the staff were friendly and very professional. They care and did an amazing job on my manicure and pedicures this week. I came in and got a power dip manicure plus a deluxe pedicure. My nails came out with perfect thickness and color and my pedicure was a very relaxing one. All cuticles were cut clean and they did an excellent job with my toe polish. Very expert and efficient. I have to admit every single dollar spent here was worth every cent. Several of my friends were referred by me and they’re now regulars here. The best nail salon in Washington DC, hands down. Can’t wait for the next visit.

J3rric3 _: To start off, the lady who did my nails kept cutting my cuticles which caused me to bleed. They do not have prices for dip powder nails unless you specifically ask. I ended up getting gel polish with tips, and my nails came out bulky and uneven. This place is good for a quick pedicure, but not full sets. My roommate also had a horrible experience.

Caitlin Earle: I live right around the corner so convenience-wise this nail salon is the best option. There are multiple other salons within a 5 minute walk and I never go to those places because this is a great salon! I get gel manicures and pedicures and have been happy with every nail technician who has worked with me. I want to particularly shout out Julie who did a flawless job for me the first time she helped me and since then I have asked for her every time. Her gel manicures have lasted 3+ weeks every time and she also never hurts me when she trims my cuticles, which is a big concern for me! All of the ladies who work here are meticulous and the atmosphere and customer service is great.

Ericka Morales: Went with my friend for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. We were looking for places that still had slots & when I called the lady was able to make an appt for both of us. We were attended pretty fast, showed them what we wanted and the results were great. The price was reasonable as well. Only reason it’s 4 and not a 5 was because I had to wait a bit for another lady to attend me to finish my nail design that I wanted. But they came out beautiful!

Sebli Deju: I got my eyelashes done on Friday may 13. I explained to the lady that I wanted my eyelashes to the certain way. The answer she gave me was ‘ Don’t worry’ which I thought was real and I thought she really understood what I meant. The place is all about money. They don’t care about the customer’s needs. All they tell you is not to worry which means you should worry more than ever because they are going to make you look something you don’t like or something they think would cost you more, but not your choice. After taking more than 2 hours on my eyelashes I told the lady that I didn’t like the look. It wasn’t the way I wanted it or the way I explained it to her in the beginning. Her answer was still ‘don’t worry don’t worry I’ll fix it and I’ll charge you less’. This isn’t about the money woman. I could have payed better if the service was the way I wanted it. You guys should start Caring about satisfying your customer’s needs not your benefit from doing wrong. I hate the experience and I’ll never try to get it back again at this place. I’ll never recommend people to go there and get upset either. Service: Eyelash extensions

Monica Reyes: At my job, it’s critical that I don’t wear vibrant colors; including pink. I showed them this reference picture multiple times, and emphasized multiple times that I want a clear or tan-like base. They completely ignored my wishes and use the language barrier as an excuse as to why they didn’t go with what I asked for. On top of ignoring my wishes, and proceeding to paint my nails pink, due to them not being organized and trying to take as many customers as possible they messed up this very simple design and tried covering it up instead of fixing it. This mess was a total of nearly $70. Save your money and go to someone who truly appreciates nail art, and offer better prices. Services: Acrylic nails , Gel manicure , Nail art

Que “Cookie” Irving: the staff is nice & attentive but the only thing i don’t like is they are a little overpriced but the quality is leveled to the price so i understand. my nails been on since march 8th & i still have my full set on. i do have different ladies to do my toes & nails separately.Services: Gel manicure, Pedicures

Naomi Kumar: This is the first time in my life that I’ve gotten a mani/pedi that didn’t chip within 24 hours. I have long nails and work with my hands so they tend to chip easily but it’s been a few days and they are still perfect! I’m so amazed. The artist was very sweet, made sure I was happy with the finished looks and really helped the pain in my feet from the callous remover sugar scrub. She also did a really nice massage on my legs and arms. Will definitely go back! Services: Manicures , Pedicures

Casabella Salon: what do users think?

Ella Müller: They Perfectly Done my Nail Design. i want to change my nail look. Mina suggested me a nail design, after done surprise, Really I am happy to take Their services. I would highly recommended Casabella Salon.

maryn potter: I Had a lovely manicure yesterday with the technician named Tee! He was very Through with my nails and kept going back to make sure that Everything was perfect. I would highly recommended Casabella Salon

Britnee’ Morgan: First time trying out this nail salon and they exceeded my expectations! Great customer service and beautiful nail art. Thank you!Services: Pedicures, Manicures

Valerie Miller: Large colour selection and the nail technician put a lot of effort into my nails - very happy with them.Great service and friendly staff!

S K: Huy did a wonderful job on my tattered nails. Very clean salon. I will definitely become a regular here.

Lila Vogel: I had Dennis this past weekend do tips with a gel manicure. Overall the experience was so pleasant and my nails are gorgeous!! I think it might have to be my favorite manicure I have ever gotten (I’m not even that picky, he just did such an amazing job). First of all, I called Sunday Morning and he was willing to fit me in right then which was very flexible of him. At each step of the manicure process he would make sure I was happy with the shape, color, etc. He also even added jewels to my nails when I asked halfway through the appointment! So accommodating and such a reasonable price point (especially for being in Georgetown)!! Even a week later my nails still look flawless, I am getting compliments, and all the baby jewels are intact! I could not be happier with my nails and experience at this salon. I find no need to go anywhere else in DC! Service: Acrylic nails

Shelby H: My first time being here, came for a date night with my husband. Very nice and clean, updated spot. Great service provided. The owner checked in with us to ensure we were happy and gave us drinks on the house. I really liked that she checked in multiple times throughout the service to ensure temperature of water/towels/hot stones weren’t too hot, and whether I liked the color being applied. Would definitely come again! Services: Dip powder , Foot massage

Neil Kent: This was by far the worse pedicure I’ve ever received in my entire life. The tech did not offer any options for pedicures like usually, they only performed I’m guessing the basic pedicure, it was was very poor service. I get pedicures pretty often so I’m familiar with what a quality pedicure consist of. This was definitely not quality at all. I was very disappointed. I had a pedicure here before and it was good, but this time it was the complete opposite. Would not recommend. Service: Pedicures

Q-West Nails: what do users think?

Frank Rettig: I went on 1/14/2018 to get my normal pedicure, and like always, I’m asked if I want the Spa treatment, and I always say no. When I went to pay, I was told it was $33, and I asked when the price went up from $28? I’d only been there 4 weeks before, so was curious. The employee said I had my nails buffed. I stated that it was always included for $28. She back tracked her words a couple of times, and said I was right. I could see that she was trying to charge more. Needless to say, no tip, and I won’t go back. I was not happy about the lying. Not a good way to deal with a customer of many years.

Mark Bloomfield: This place is awesome. I’ve been going to mail places for decades ( I am very old ); I have seen a lot ; this is the best place I’ve ever been to. Everyone here so polite so customer oriented; so dedicated to their profession ; it’s the best manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had. I’m a regular and feel so good after I’ve been . For the life of me I can’t understand why anybody would think otherwise.

Lucy Jones: Q-West recently changed hands after a long time with same owners. I’ll admit that The transition was a bit bumpy at first but they have now hit their stride. It’s a welcoming place and I’ve only always gotten good service. I always recommend it to my friends. A good steady place in the neighborhood.

Guy Dupont: I live in the neighborhood and made the mistake of getting a 60 minute massage here. I called earlier in the day and scheduled the appointment for later that afternoon. When I arrived at my scheduled time, the greeter (who appeared to be around 15 years old) informed me that the massage therapist was giving someone else a massage. Apparently she messed up the scheduling but did not have the courtesy to explain or apologize. Despite this, I waited for 20 minutes and then had one of the worst massages ever. The doughnut hole on the massage table was not at all comfortable. The actual massage was not pleasant... at one point after she kept massaging my ears (which I did not particularly like) I asked her to please work on the back. I will not be returning here.

Kristen Sam: I did get arcrylic with Chromes gel here last week, she did carefully job! And they looked cool, highly recommended, I don’t understand why somebody wrote crazy comments....the manager and employees are very friendly

Joys Spa: what do users think?

Junk Aqui: Always professional and welcoming. Joy keeps me entertained while she waxes everything and so I don’t focus on it. Been coming here for a few years and will keep coming. Good price, great service and staff.

Ariana: Summary- It’s good for the price. This is basic place you go to for a cheap manicure where you can have a discussion about the history of admo. The good: Price, you can’t really beat a $20 manicure. Tip is preferred in cash. The manicure looks nice as well. I didn’t get polish so I can’t comment on that but I was pleased with cuticle care and nail shaping. Friendliness of staff. The staff is very friendly. There was communal chatter between them and the other patrons at the salon. This is a community place that has been here for a long time and has report with their clientele. Gentleness of manicure. I appreciated how gentle my technician was with my hands. Sometimes in the big salons they can be rough with your hands because they work so quickly. My technician took her time and was gentle with my hands which was appreciated. The bad: The space was cluttered and messy. It’s a shame because the space could be lovely with the windows but it needs a spring cleaning. There are things that haven’t been moved in years, clutter in corners, tools piled up in the sink, and dust. When I walked in I was immediately turned off even though the service was fine. Cleanliness of tools. The file used on my nails had seen many other patrons before me which made me uncomfortable. I’m used to salons opening up new packets of tools to use so I felt questionable about this and the rest of the tools used on me. I’m not a clean freak but this combined with the clutter made me feel skeptical.

Yanina Tull: You will never find better place for your lash extentions in DC! Tina is fantastic! She works fast and clean, always pleasure to see her. Her mom Chi does my brazilian for years! Wax can be quick & painless but only with ms Chi! Great family business! Love you guys!

Abigail Long: Corona precautions are taken very seriously. She takes your temperature and you fill out a waiver. Everyone wears a mask and there is hand sanitizer and paper towel everywhere to avoid touching doorknobs. Also it’s a Great wax. Least painful I have experienced in DC and it is really quick.

Molly Smith: Joy is a pleasure (even when she is giving you the least painful wax). Love this neighborhood gem.

Glamour Nails: what do users think?

Hannah Trinh: I am seriously in love with these nails and could not have gone to anywhere better. The variety of colors and how hard the workers are is amazing. Jessica did an incredible job with my friend and at the same time helping me with my nails. After that, Andy did my paint coat and he was so incredibly fast and efficient. Three of my nails were really short because of ripping and his precision in adding a fake nail to makeup for the height was so amazing. The conversations with them is super friendly and they know how to choose colors to suit your skin tone. Will probably go again to have flowers added onto these nails.

Niesha Cyr: Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismMy friend recommended this salon to me. I have only been twice but I have had no issues! They have done great work on my nails! And I always leave loving the product. Very attentive and I love the complimentary drinks! Such a nice Saturday morning activity to enjoy for yourself or friends! Highly recommend and I will be coming again!Service: Acrylic nails

Hadassah Yisrael: I had a horrible experience at a nearby nail salon and a quick Google searched landed me here. This nearby salon “Glamour Nails” gave me exactly what I asked for. I wanted funny bunny gel color with a French white line for pedicure and a gel manicure. They were efficient at accommodating me, professional, and respectful which I appreciated especially because I was in a rush for a flight. If you are ever in the DC area and frequenting Connecticut Ave for your stay please choose this nail salon. Debby serviced me she did a phenomenal job. Services: Gel manicure , Pedicures

Karla Gonzalez: First time coming to this salon. I can only say good things! Andy attended me and did not fail. I came in unsure of what I wanted but luckily he suggested an elegant design. Also the staff is super welcoming :) Will definitely be coming here again on my next visit in town!

Chloe Oxley: I had a pleasant experience during my recent visit- I was able to walk right in. Everyone was warm and welcoming! I loved the complimentary beverage options they offered and the salon itself was bright and stylish. I was excited to try this salon out, especially when I realized they just opened. I really loved the herbal spa pedicure! Some minor logistics and timing can be improved. For example, my services did take almost 4 hours. On a positive note, I did feel so relaxed and comfortable that I didn’t notice how quickly time had gone by. One of the main reasons I give 4 stars is because my actual nails were filed down underneath the acrylic overlay, which is very upsetting/doesn’t look great— (before and after photos included). All in all, the final product looks nice and natural, which is key for me. Given they are a new shop, many of these logistics should quickly improve. I’d definitely check them out!

Nav Sandhu: The staff is super friendly but not everyone is trained. Andy is the person to see cause he seems to know his stuff. I got a liquid gel refill with gel polish and wanted a snowflake design, opted for the sticker but it never got put on properly. Literally got this done at 5:30 and two hours later it’s coming off. I would come back for a basic service but anything beyond that seems difficult for the staff (however Andy appeared experienced) but they are really nice.

Brittany: Andy did an amazing job on my ombré dip nails. I would highly recommend him. He is very detailed and made sure that everything was done to my liking. Also, all of the tools were very clean and there was no wait time for me to be seen. I was lucky to find this place.

Eastern Market Nails: what do users think?

ameshia hardy: I wanted to like this place, it has a nice chill ambiance and they provide wine so it was perfect at first. Then when it was time for my fill in the nail tech popped out her paper towel and pen and started to add additional fees for everything. $70 for a basic spa pedi with gel and $70 for a fill in with a basic dot design on each nail. That’s a rip off. I’ve never paid over $55 for a gel pedi or over $60 for a fill in with a design. These nail techs in here price gouge just to get more money when I was planning to tip well. All those extra charges are your tip. I won’t be returning. I’m not broke but I’m not paying more for services when I know it’s cheaper everywhere else. Services: Manicures , Acrylic nails , Waxing , Pedicures , Gel manicure

Christie Nightingale: I have booked numerous appointments for acrylic nails and basic manicures. I always have found this place to be great - the service and the work performed exceptional. I would highly recommend this salon.Services: Manicures, Acrylic nails

Leshia Cushing: My appointment elsewhere fell through, so popped to the nearest place. This place is in a cute location with lots of people-watching but is not one to visit by choice. While I was appreciative of the closely-monitored glass of white wine (served in a champagne flute), the tech was quick to advise owner allows only one. She walks around constantly overseeing the techs and is quick to reinforce mask usage. I’m vaccinated and also want to feel comfortable and pampered at a salon. I was charged more than what is advertised via the website but still tipped 40%. It’s flighty and not as indulgent an experience as should be a nail salon. Won’t be returning but “Kay” did a good job with my nails. Did I file when I got home? Yes. Eh. The search continues. Service: Acrylic nails

Mattie Curry: Good for pedicures, not for acrylics/manicures/nail art. Went in with a picture of exactly what I wanted (a basic, thin, black French tip), and got uneven, thick lines that went halfway down from the nail tip. My nails aren’t even properly glued to the acrylics! I can see the space between my real nail and the acrylic. Had to get them repainted at another salon, and I can’t wait to get the set replaced. It makes me sad, because i had great pedicure experiences here. Service: Acrylic nails

NIKKI HARRIS: Need to listen to customer requests and do exactly what that is. When you charge extra for callous remover there should be no callous when the pedicure is complete. Eye lash service should be done without getting glue into the customer eyes. Lashes had glue all over them making it unable to brush and clean the lashes properly during face washing routine. The lashes were stiff from the glue. Overall spent money on services that I was not completely satisfied with. Services: Dip powder , Pedicures , Eyelash extensions

Megha Fernandes: I love this place!! Everyone is great but Nhi is my go to! VERY clean, great atmosphere, and thorough. I recommend this place to everyone!

Monty Edwards: Service horrible they work horrible they patronize well you’ll know didn’t ask me the black lady if she wanted something to drink but they asked everybody else though smh never again

Laurin Thompson: Let me start off by saying I get my nails done almost religiously every two to three weeks. I know a good job when I see one. This place is rated an overall 4.5 stars and I don’t believe it deserves that high of a rating. I went in with a picture of what I was wanting and everything and nobody who helped me was able to give me what I wanted. Fair enough everyone was very polite, but being nice and friendly doesn’t equal a good job. I don’t think the nail techs are used to people being as watchful and maybe that’s why the stars are so high, but if you want really good quality nails done I’m sorry to say this is not the place for you and I just don’t recommend it.

Cosmo Nail Bar: what do users think?

Soraya H: Went a week ago because I was in the neighborhood & got a regular dip nail manicure, no acrylic tips. Two nails have chipped and one dip powder base has fallen off. I don’t know what happened to this place in the last couple of years. It used to be so nice & I would always walk out happy. The manicurist who did my nails was kind, shaped them well, I don’t know why they chipped and fell off.

Stephanie Enaje: This place is going downhill. Maybe it’s the lack of staff. But, they attempt to take walk-ins while knowingly having appointments set. Just say you can’t. There are dozens of nail salons in the area. The owner says “come back in 30 mins” for an eyebrow wax. I come back in 30 mins only to be IGNORED. Then, once I spoke up I was told to wait. GET IT TOGETHER!

kikiblue90: Came here to fix 2 broken nails with gel, nail tech was considerate to make sure all nails were even and took his time. Asked me to make sure the color was the one I wanted too. Will come again in the future

Anna Sullivan: My nails were ROUGH when I came in. Super short, cracked, cuticles a mess. They were so nice and understanding and truly transformed my nails. Their attention to detail is amazing. I will definitely be a regular customer.

McCauley Mateja: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueYoyo and the team at Cosmo Nail Bar are the BEST! I have been coming here since it opened and have worked with Yoyo for 6 years. The services are always well done and the salon itself is so cute and clean. I don’t trust anyone else with my nails!Services: Manicures, Pedicures

Yaravina Panoso: Positive: QualityDid a great job on my nails , great service. Definitely coming back

Ashley Newby Lacy: I have been going to Cosmo for 5 years, but the quality has really gone down within the past year. The picture I shared speaks for itself. I asked for a simple nail gradient and instead got a mess and mismatch of colors. Right when he started I told him it was not what I wanted, but he ignored me, continued and was rough on my hands. They then charged me extra for a “design.” I used to love this place and am sad that I will not be returning. Services: Manicures , Waxing , Dip powder , Pedicures

Varnish Lane Mt. Vernon Triangle: what do users think?

Jazmynn Croskey: Update to my previous review: The salon manager contacted me the next day to hear about my experience and courteously invited me back to have another tech redo my nails with any design of my choosing. They turned out amazing and I sincerely appreciate Varnish Lane making this right. Thank you for making a loyal customer feel valued! I will most definitely be back.

Darrah Joy Clay: I live in the Navy Yard and was hopeful this new salon would be a great experience offering a calm and luxurious experience with a quality gel mani and pedi. Unfortunately the quality of their products is terrible. The average gel mani lasts one week at best. The services are upwards of $100 and do not last at all. I’ve been to the salon twice. My first experience someone came in with a similar complaint. My second experience I unfortunately was the person who returned with chipped nails - not just one but 5/10. I encourage anyone who is going for gel to look elsewhere and save your money. Other salons like NailSalon and Cosmopolitan have better longer lasting gel or SNS. It may be that the waterless feature doesn’t fully remove the oils from the body which reduces the effect of the gel. I’ve actually had regular polish last longer. Lastly the customer service is a 6/10 the team is cordial and responsive but not incredibly accommodating given the price and poor quality of their gel materials. They canceled my rescheduled appointment last minute and only offered to fix the damaged nails and not redo the manicure. That would have made it look worse. They weren’t concerned about the quality of the work but rather slapping more peeling gel on my nails. Save your time, your money and find another option. It should be called “Vanishing Lane” because the polish vanishes in days.

Stephanie Ferguson: I really want to like Varnish Lane, but in my experience the salon is over priced and quality is lacking. When I received a gel manicure, it only lasted one week before it started chipping and peeling. Also, I came in for a gel mani/gel pedi. I asked if I could make it out at a certain time and was told no because there weren’t enough technicians, but that I could receive a simple manicure with no polish. I had two technicians servicing me but one technician left after my ‘fast lane’ manicure to join a second technician to service a client who came in after me. It seems that I could’ve received my polish and the tech could still service the other, later client once finished with my polish. In all, the ambiance is nice and the salon is clean, but the quality is subpar. Services: Gel manicure , Pedicures

Natia Zakradze: My nails were done terribly. I did gel manicure and one pealed instantly at the same day. I asked to remove the cuticles- it was cut half way. They did repair three fingers but the other nail specialist was too rude… ok, good things - music is good, chairs are comfortable but which is the main thing for nail bar- PROFESSIONALISM, in my case below zero… first and last time there…

Hayley Andrews: Terrible customer service. We called in advance to say we were arriving 10 minutes late and they said it wasn’t a problem. When we arrived, we were told we were only getting a 5 minute manicure due to another appointment and that we had to pay full price and we had no option to cancel. I cannot believe I just paid $28 for a regular 5 min manicure because I arrived 10 minutes late. Super inflexible policy - the worst nail salon I’ve ever visited and the manicure will definitely not last more than a day. We will never be coming back. Service: Manicures

Stacey Maresco: I’ve been here twice in the last 12 months and had a reasonably good experience both times. The nail techs did fine, but they don’t use water which makes the pedicure experience less enjoyable.

Evan Phinney: I visited the Varnish Lane Mt. Vernon location the day it opened! Two weeks later and my gel manicure is still going strong! I walked into an amazingly clean and calming atmosphere with the most beautiful wall of nail polish options I’ve ever seen! I was offered a complementary drink and could wait in one of their comfy chairs due to there being space. I had seen a nail design on their Instagram page that I showed my stylist, and she was more than willing to recreate It with the colours I chose! She even improvised for one nail that wasn’t shown in the picture and It looked amazing. My only hesitation is when I go for my next manicure I will be charged to remove gel the polish. Though their base prices are on the higher side, It is worth It for the cleanliness, care and quality of their services! Already booked my next appointment to try their pedicures out!

JADORE BEAUTY SPA: what do users think?

Sarah Norton: I come here frequently and have held off on leaving a review until now. There have been some issues in the past, but I have tried to be understanding and forgiving. I made an appointment weeks ago for a fill today with Pink. I come in today on time for my appointment and am told Pink is not here, and can I wait for Tony to do my nails? I agree thinking it will be a cpl of minutes, and I go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom I’m called by Jenny, the business owner, and told it will be 30+ minutes until Tony arrives. Honestly, I should have left then. When I came out of the bathroom, Tiffany offered to take off my acrylic in order to get things started until Tony arrives. While doing this, another customer arrived for her noon appointment with Jenny who is also not here. So now Pink, Tony, and Jenny are not here. Tiffany asked the customer to wait 40 minutes, then Jenny called and spoke to this customer as well. At this point, the polish has been filed off of 4 of my nails. A walk in comes in to have her nails done and Tiffany leaves me to do this woman’s nails. I don’t begrudge this other customer having her nails done, but really?? The person I’m booked with isn’t here. The business owner isn’t here. Tiffany gets me started, then leaves me minutes into the process to take care of someone else. Since I am waiting 30+ minutes for my appointment to start (even though I booked ahead and was on time) then why couldn’t this walk in customer have waited for a few minutes until at the very least, all 10 of my nails had been filed, instead of just 4?? I can’t very well leave now with 4 nails filed, even though I am thoroughly frustrated. When I expressed this frustration, Tiffany was very defensive saying that I had agreed to wait. And she’s right, I did agree to wait because she was at least getting me started. But now she’s not even helping me. I am one of two customers who made an appointment at noon that is not being seen on time, and not because the salon is running late, but because the employees aren’t even present. What is the point of making an appointment at all if this is the result? Apparently, Pink no longer works here. Jenny should have gone through Pink’s appointment calendar and made arrangements for her customers instead of waiting until I was at the salon to call me. It’s just so disrespectful of her customers time and shows a lack of planning and leadership. Very disheartening. I’m sad to even be writing this because I like this salon a lot, it’s very clean and relaxing and I’m always happy with my service (except the one time I had Tiffany do my nails; big mistake), but this is just no way to do business. I don’t want to leave this place because as I said, there’s a lot to like here and Jenny and Tony are very sweet people. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens when they get here. Update! It’s several hours later. Jenny and Tony arrived roughly 25 minutes after my appointment time. They were very kind and gracious, I said they’re sweet people! Tony took a lot of time on my service and made sure I was happy. He then took a percentage off of the price. Jenny also reached out this afternoon after I got home and apologized again. I’ll stay with this salon for now, as I said it’s very clean and relaxing. Just know that when going to this salon, you’ll be happy with your nails, but appointment times may or may not be adhered to. Service: Acrylic nails

Alia Mull: Anna was sooooo nice and fast! Very professional. She did a real cute design and wanted to perfect it to make sure i was pleased. The place was spotless and modern/fancy. Everyone was friendly and spoke, it was welcoming. And the price wasn’t too expensive it was reasonable. I’m definitely going back! And I’m so picky it’s rare i say that. Ask for Anna! Service: Acrylic nails

Poojita Sharan: I came in pretty late in the day but Jade was very patient and did not rush me at all. She was thorough and even did some areas for free since I had never removed hair in those places. She was such a treat to talk to and the whole experience was very pleasant! Not to mention, the waxing didn’t hurt as much as it does because she uses a different type of wax based on the part of the body!

Teisha Camp: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueJenny is my waxer. I love her she has soft hands and she is very fast. She communicated with me the whole time to make sure of my comfort. This is a very relaxing place to get pampered. I will be back. I have found a new spa home.Services: Pedicures, Waxing, Body Waxing

nikola vulic: My first experience with waxing and Jade did outstanding job, professional and detailed oriented, skilled and exceptional personality made me feel so comfortable that I took a nap during process (even I heard waxing is painful) :))Definitely going back.

Dayton Slye: I have been going to Jenny for multiple years and I recommend her to anyone and everyone! She is absolutely amazing! The services are painless, comfortable, clean, and she is meticulous about everything. If I could give 100 stars, I would! Since Jenny has updated her space, I wanted to update my review! I went for a wax and it was still perfect but now she is offering nail services! I got a basic pedicure and a dip manicure and both turned out perfectly. Cindy was the nail tech I worked with and she was so friendly, made sure everything was perfect, and helped me pick colors based off of a design I showed her! Have had the pleasure of working with more of the nail techs and have not had one bad experience. 10 out of 10!

Carly Nicholas: I am so happy I came to Jadore for my first ever brazilian wax. I felt comfortable the whole time and there was nearly no pain! I will definitely be back

Hannah Booth: I’m traveling for a work trip and needed to get SNS for my nails and a pedicure. The customer service was amazing and they were very thorough on my nails and toes! I never do reviews like this but needed to shout them out!

Brian J: Made me wait an additional 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. No time management or people skills. I left before they could finish. Awful establishment.Service: Manicures

LUNA Nails & Spa: what do users think?

lisa pierre: This nail salon does a nice job, I do applaud them for doing great nails. When I got there, it was at the end of closing. I arrived at 6:30pm and didn’t leave until 9:00pm they close at 8pm. The nail tech offered a new nail style called square up nail!! I love what the Nail tech did her name is Ellie. So the cost of this place (wiped forehead) they charge a lot and do not have detail of pricing. They charged $25 for gel plus the $40 regular for pedicure and $65 for the square up nail plus $10 for design. My nails turn out nice just wasn’t to happy about the price and they have nothing to show for it, to verify the cost. Overall great place massage chairs are amazing by the way😊

Brooke Cramberg: Elly was the best!!! Excellent shaping and attention to detail to make sure everything was even, steady hand on the detailed design, and checked in to make sure everything was coming together how I’d hoped several times in the process. Will absolutely be back!! Tip: they do get busy on Friday evenings so get in early or prepare to wait (even with a call in advance). I didn’t have to wait at 4:30 with a call, but saw many who had to wait a bit when I was in the chair.

Tris Verse: My nail tech couldn’t fit me in yesterday and I’m so glad they couldn’t because I’m happy to have found this place. They have exceptional customer service & pay attention to their customer’s needs. I felt welcomed there. My nails have been done so well. I’ll be back.Services: Dip powder, Pedicures

Sharmeica Clark: Rick did a great job on my nails he just failed to give me the same service he offered every other customer like washing my hands or giving me a complete manicure before doin my nails REASON that’s what I asked for and I use no acrylic or false nails. U can’t catch every dollar & still give Great Service. Still looking for a shop home with both great service & great customer service Since That’s what I willing to pay for. Service: Dip powder

kendalll: rick did my nails so good ! if you want your nails done i definitely suggest coming here they can do any style and the staff is super friendly !Service: Acrylic nails

Oyinade Adebayo: If you respect yourself and your money and your time, don’t come here. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a nail salon in my life. The nail tech could not follow the simplest instructions and could not follow the picture shown to him, Which was a simple nude nail. My color is terribly off and the almond nail shape is atrocious. I wish I was exaggerating how terrible my nails look. I’m not even one to leave reviews but this has to be said. If I could get my money back I would. You’re better off going elsewhere because I promise you will not be satisfied. 0/10, not even exaggerating. Imagine a nail tech telling you that he knew exactly how to do the nails you were asking for and by the end of the service it is obvious he was lying. Insane. Very bad experience. Service: Dip powder

Melissa Boyer-Sylvestre: I had a gel manicure and the Spring/Summer package for my pedicure (I don’t remember what the package was called on the menu.) I had many problems. The same tech did both my services. She cut my cuticles down so low on both hands and feet that she made me bleed and had to use this blue liquid to make it stop. During my manicure they opened a new jar of the gel black and my nails look TERRIBLE after a week. Bubbling, chipped, warped. Awful. I was also charged $15 more than what the menu said. The lady tried to tell me it was because I got gel but I asked for gels before I started my services and she never said anything about upcharge until I was told I owed her $15 more after I tried to hand her cash. The menu did not list the higher prices for the services rendered and gel was included in both services. I called the next day and the lady got VERY loud with me and told me I would have to come back in and they wouldn’t give me any money back or redo the services. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone. I will never go here again. Services: Manicures , Gel manicure , Foot massage , Pedicures

Anna Card: I’ve had great experiences at this salon previously, so was disappointed to have such a bad experience today! Won’t be going back. I told the manicurist repeatedly during my appointment that the dip color was wrong and I didn’t want it. He kept assuring me he would fix it at the end, and asked me to stop telling him because it was busy. At the the end of my appointment, when I explained it was the wrong color and needed to be fixed, he told the other manicurist that I had never told him anything was wrong. And that since I never told him, they couldn’t fix it because they were too busy. I understand things get busy, but there was no excuse to do something so odd and dishonest. So take that one experience with a grain of salt, as everyone else has been wonderful in the past. But this very weird and disappointing experience ruined an otherwise great salon for me. Service: Dip powder

Revo Nails: what do users think?

greta martin: First time I went here did the SNS manicure and it looked so good and lasted 3 weeks. Would have lasted longer if I was willing to let my nails get super long. Second time I got a gel manicure which started peeling up after a few days. However, I went back and they redid it for me and it looks great! Would highly recommend.

Julieyoumean: I had a nice experience here. Got a pedi gel. Staffs dont rush and make sure it looks great!

Temi Omilabu: Went in to remove gel polish, they shaved my nails down so badly that my nails still hurt 24 hours later. I’ve never had my nails shaved down to get rid of the gel and it didn’t seem right but I trusted what they were doing. Now I’m in a lot of pain. Acetone wouldn’t done the trick without messing with the texture and strength of my nails.

Rennie Meyers: Underrated spot, can be a little inconsistent but affordable and lovely people.

Hino Pyromaniac: Staff was super nice and kind! Love my nails!

Kathryn Sugg: Great pedicure, nice staff! I messed up my nails with my impatience and they touched them up no problem and were so nice about it.

Dalila Hernandez: Who is the owner of that place? because he or she should be more careful to choose the employees. I got there at 5:10pm on Sunday, to get full set manicure a woman who was there said their were busy and about to close, such a bad customer service!
