The Salon Professional Academy DC: what do users think?

Caitlin Rogalski: Myesha and the whole team on the spa side of the house are amazing. The Beyond Botox and hydrafacial are life changing and so well priced. I laughed and took a few years off. Highly recommend! Not a better deal in DC.

Acee Holmes: Talena did a great job on my facial. Told me everting that will help me with my acne. Awesome job Talena keep up the good work.

T Stiverson: I loved being in this space. Everyone was professional and thorough, especially Diana and instructor Camden. Diana was easy to talk to and connect with, and she really took the time to make sure my hair was cut and styled in the way I wanted it to be. I opted out of blow drying and she braided my hair instead. The braiding may seem to be a minuscule detail, but it made a big difference on my final look and feel walking out of the salon. THANK YOU BOTH :)

Jewel Iliff: My husband and I recieved wonderful facials from; Saberah Mitchell and Latoya Johnson. They have wonderful hands and are very professional

Marcellus Smith: Im writing this review for my friend who wanted to stay announced, I was a client this evening and I’m appalled . Two clients came in with special needs one appeared to be deef and I believe blind. I over heard that she was getting her hair done for her birthday. How special. I witnessed the students but mainly the staff laughing and making jokes about them. The nice young lady who styled her hair was the only one that treated this young lady with dignity and the respect that she deserved. The helper that came with the client (not making assumptions )appeared to be apart of the LGBQ community. I witnessed staff talk negatively about him/her as he/she got up with his walking cane to use the restroom. This is the most unprofessional environment I have ever been. I will be reporting this to the media. I do not recommend anyone to receive services at this school. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this hair school especially those with special needs. I’m so sad.

Jess: I went here to get my hair done for a friends wedding and it came out wonderfully. Because it turned out so great for such a great price I agreed to have my hair done again for another friends wedding today. The woman I had seen had scheduled me for today at 2:30 PM. Initially for my first appointment I had received a confirmation call and when I realized I hadn’t received a confirmation call for this second appointment I tried to call the Academy about seven different times today. No one picked up so I ended up driving over and of course the entire salon was closed and I was not able to get my hair done despite being told that I was scheduled for this date at this time in person when I had lost come in. Very annoyed.

Tiara Rollins: The director is very rude, lacks professionalism. Do not recommend to attend this school .

Juliett Nicole: Thank you so much again, Rachel! Everything was beyond amazing, and you are an absolute gem! I’m obsessed with my hair, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 10 out of 10. Please do extend my thanks to Mr. E too! I haven’t stopped smiling about my bangs. You guys are the greatest! Thank you again, and stay safe! If you’re looking for a fantastic haircut at an affordable price, then this is the place for you!

Dermal Science International Aesthetics Academy: what do users think?

Sammie Engelhardt: If you’re looking to become not only an esthetician but an amazing esthetician then DSI is where you need to be. I’m completely confident in my education and with only being a few weeks graduated i’ve already landed a job at wonderful med spa under a well known doctor. DSI provided the best instructors who really made sure you grasped everything educationally and hands on. The products and training they provide really give you the jump start you need. I graduated a professional at what I do now and ready to share my talents with the world. Thank you DSI for the amazing experience 💙

Amanda Yessler: I went to DSI for my basic esthetics course and now I am currently attending their Master Esthetics course. I cannot recommend this school enough if you’re located in the Northern Virginia area. The teachers are the best of the best and will always make sure you are learning proper techniques while proving a comfortable learning environment. The owner Shiva knows what she’s doing and even provided a job opportunity for me and I got the job! This school sets you up for success if you take it seriously. I recommend anyone I know who wants to be an esthetician to come here. Thank you DSI for everything I’ve learned and the lifelong friends I’ve made

A.N. Gartner: I completed my basics and master esthetics training at this school. This is the best school to receive esthetics training. I do not think any other esthetics school can compare. I felt very prepared and confident to start my career thanks to everything I have learned at DSI. The instructors are amazing, and the owners truly want what is best for the students. They also prepare you so well for state boards. Would recommend this school to anyone looking to start a career in this field!

Melisa Martinez: I wanted to take the Basic esthetician’s course at this school. I went in to find out about the program and Shiva the CEO seemed very money hungry. I asked questions about the program and she dismissed them and kept talking about the contract I had to sign. Didn’t offer a tour of the school and I really didn’t feel comfortable being there. I’m not one to write reviews but I felt that this place deserved one. I recently left the military and I was already nervous about starting a career and being there just gave me nothing but anxiety. The contract they were trying to get me to sign also said if you miss more than 30 hours you’d have to make them up and get charged 35 dollars per hour. I wouldn’t recomend this place to anyone. They need to put the students needs and concerns first.

Jill Reilly: I just finished my masters program here at DSI after also completing my basic esthetic course here as well. The school is top notch. The instructors are the best of the best. I cannot rave about my instructors enough: knowledgable, helpful, caring, professional. The state board test prep is so in depth that I felt extremely confident taking my basic and now onto my masters. I started and ended during the pandemic. Shiva made sure we felt safe coming in for our practical days. I would highly recommend DSI to anyone looking to get an amazing education.

Leah Hardin: I took both my Basic and Master courses at DSI. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the teachers. They are so knowledgeable and genuinely care about each student’s education. I feel thoroughly prepared for my state board because of the tremendous state board prep we’re given. I’ve also met some amazing fellow-students who were equally supportive and lovely to learn along with. Mrs.Shiva takes COVID very seriously and made sure we were all taking extra precautions to ensure everyone’s health. I really appreciate the experience, the friendships, the wealth of knowledge, and the amount of growth I was able to accomplish with the help of DSI and the lovely teachers.

Wisconsin Nail & Waxing: what do users think?

Monica Sharp: I’m someone who usually only trusts myself with my nails, but I’m glad that, after 5-6 years of not having professional service done, I trusted my hands and feet to the folks at Wisconsin Nail and Waxing! Online scheduling was a breeze and done 2 hours prior to. Upon arrival, I was greeted right away and the gentleman (sorry, I didn’t catch your name) got right to work. He was patient with me as I decided which color and nail art I wanted to try, and very friendly. Another young lady did my pedicure and she was just as friendly and helpful as the guy was. Honestly, I got that vibe from everyone who worked there. The salon itself is small and intimate—I even struck up conversation with a couple other clients, and that has never happened to me before. It’s also Very clean—the tools were either brand new or completely sanitized. I was a bit surprised that a manicure didn’t come with my dip powder full set, but that’s on me for misunderstanding. Parking is tough, but it’s Georgetown so…that happens and that’s not the salon’s fault. All in all, Wisconsin Nail has a new client! Update (12/18): They did it again! This time, Jenny worked on my nails and executed my gingerbread vision perfectly! I was in a “blah” mood when I came in this morning, and the massages I received, the conversation, and overall service boosted my mood! Update (2/17): “🎵Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name…🎵” This is my second visit since December, and while the work was still incredible (check the pic with the green and yellow nails), this is about the service. I walked in and was greeted by name, and genuinely asked about my recent issues with family loss and illness. This is a salon that truly cares. They don’t only care about you, but they care about your nails too. They saved my nails from the botched job I had done when I had to go home for a few weeks as well. Services: Foot massage , Manicures , Pedicures , Dip powder

Michelle Heffner: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueHad a great first experience at Wisconsin Nails and Waxing. They saw me right away on a week night. I came in with an exact idea of shape and style for my nails and Jenny executed it perfectly. She was patient and ensured it was what I wanted. I LOVE my nails and will definitely go back again.Services: Manicures, Pedicures, Dip powder, Nail art, Acrylic nails

Anna Normand: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityWisconsin Nails is amazing!! The salon is very clean, well managed and comfortable and they play great music and TV. Minh is an incredible nail artist and is always able to recreate exactly what I want! Can’t recommend the salon enough.Services: Gel manicure, Nail art, Acrylic nails

Marla Meyer: Expertly executed manicure and pedicure. I have been searching for good nail services for a while and finally found a salon that meets my high expectations. They pay attention to detail including trimming cuticle, filing shapely nails, and polish application. They are sensitive to customer preferences - cut versus file nails, etc. The team works quickly but does not skip steps or make one feel rushed. They encourage comfort and have terrific massage chairs. The salon is very clean and they observe Covid precautions. I highly recommend Wisconsin Nail and Waxing. Services: Manicures , Pedicures

Sophie Bright: My first time getting my nails done since moving to DC, and I needed something neutral for being in a wedding party. I was very impressed with this spot. They did a great job, very nice, clean and professional. Will definitely be back. Nathan specifically was so great (he deserves a boba!)

Jessica Kirschner: Friendly and welcoming staff. Love my pedicure! Interior is very clean, does not have harsh chemical smell which was very refreshing. I also appreciated the TV volume not being on which made the experience much more relaxing, loved the big windows. Will definitely be returning, thank you!

Cecilia Myers: Minh did my an acrylic nail design for me a couple of weeks ago and they’re still fully intact! I really love the way they came out and he was super kind and did an amazing job!Service: Acrylic nails

Claudia Pagnozzi-Schwam: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis is my FAVORITE nail place in DC!! I always get manicures and pedicures here. They’re so kind and do a phenomenal job!!! I wish I could give them SIX STARS. I would recommend to all of my friends, and I always do!Service: Dip powder

Abby Sauvigne: Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI absolutely love coming to Wisconsin nails. The artists are incredible - good conversation and always do a great job on my nails. I recommend to all my friends! Super easy to make appointments onlineServices: Manicures, Dip powder, Nail art

nails by Nina: what do users think?

Andrea Ch.: Had my nails done once again by Nina and of course she nailed it. I completely trust her. Not only she does a good job, the price is great too. Thank youuuuuu 😌😌😌😌

Olivia Kreegel: Nina did a perfect job on my gel manicure. $35 total which is a GREAT price in the area. Will be returning!

Lloytaisa Kingsbury: When I entered the nail salon I notice there were only two stations and three workers. Although they we’re relatively friendly they were not culturally aware of different types of nail designs or shapes. Within a hour of leaving the salon my nails began to chip. I would not recommend to anyone they are in need of more training. P.S my eyebrows look horrible.

Jacqueline Feola: My sisters and I came here for manicures and pedicures. The staff were incredible and professional, the chairs for the pedicures were amazing, and the results were gorgeous. 10/5Services: Manicures, Pedicures

Alyse A: Sunny did an amazing job on my nails. Dip manicure. He was very detail oriented and spent 1.5 hours. Will go back again thank you!

Megan Swilley: Awesome nail salon. Always does a great job

Marvel Gurl: She was very nice but the out come was not good.

Cayla Cerny: UPDATE: 4 days into my SNS manicure and 5 of my nails have chipped or fallen off. I would not recommend. The salon and staff were very kind a pleasant. The nail quality was good, except the length of my set that received were different on each nail and the shape was not consistent/off. The color selection for powdered nails was a good range. I definitely enjoyed my experience but would not get a fake tip set here again. However I would get normal polish on my natural nail.

SEN Luxury Nails Spa in L’Enfant Plaza, Washington DC: what do users think?

Isabella Dixon Smith: Absolutely do not recommend. Came in for a gel manicure, started off just wanting a nice gold colour but they didn’t have the colour I picked so decided to go with a French manicure instead. This was a mistake. They didn’t even paint a nude base layer, so it is literally just my normal nail with a line of white. I asked them to make the white tip rounded and they simply couldn’t, I tried asking again and then just gave up, I think they didn’t know how to make it round or something. They also cut my nails way shorter than I wanted which I’m really upset about as they had been so long. The whole thing costs $57. This is also more expensive than other places I’ve been in DC that we’re much better (they upcharged to take off my previous gel). Such a waste of time and money, going to go home and paint over them. Also they were terribly rushed as they were trying to take more clients then they could handle. Overall bad experience.

Lilie-rose Lacroix: Would not recommend. Got gel manicures, first of got scolded by the man who worked there and I’m not sure why. Brought in a groupon that they would not redeem because supposedly the person who would deal with them no longer worked there. Mani poorly and badly done. Do not and I repeat waste your money there.Service: Gel manicure

Michaela Svaranowic: Found this salon on Groupon. Figured I’d give it a try since they had good reviews, but unfortunately had the worst nail experience of my life. I had a full acrylic set with gel, which is my go-to service. The nail tech applied the acrylic with ZERO technique and just lumped on the acrylic and then attempted to buff/sand it down. What I ended up with were uneven lengths, lumpy and bumpy acrylics, varying thickness and no natural curvature, and inconsistent shaping. The photos truly do not do it justice of how bad it was. After only 4 days on having the nails they already started lifting so I ripped them all off, which was relatively easy which I believe was due to the application being done so poorly.

Nicole Edwards: Used my Groupon and the owner was very patient! Not a long wait! Great to get your nails done in a clutch and metro accessible.

Hannah James: Up charged $7 for French tip which was of very poor quality. The pedicure was fine, which is what gives this salon 2 stars instead of just 1. There was also a $5 upcharge for “callus removal” which ended up just being the same service that most salons include in the standard service - just the sponge rubbed in the heel for maybe 20 seconds for each foot. Of course, the calluses are still there. I came in for a mani pedi and the female tech did not soak my nails in hot water before attempting to push back my cuticles, which felt terrible on my skin. The shape of my French tips was not rounded and is raised in comparison to the clear polish. The woman tried to put my hand in the gel polish dryer without showing me the shape she was painting. I said, that shape is not rounded and looks flat. When I commented this to the one tech he said they would look better after being filed down. My nails are already quite short and I didn’t want them any shorter! I am unhappy with the finished product and won’t be returning. Don’t recommend this salon for honest prices or quality work.

Pearl Freeman: Lanie is so amazing. She not only made my nails look and and feel fabulous but she made me feel pretty as well. So talented, I highly recommend!🌸🌸🌸

Akiah Jackson: Very professional and excellent service! Anthony and Lan did the best pedicure and manicure that I’ve ever had! I’ve found my nail spa home!! Super satisfied customer! Services: Gel manicure, Pedicures

Donna Bixler: Lani and mini I hope, I got those right we had a wonderful time!! I travel a lot and they were very good and friendly!! They did a wonderful job worked together to get me done and out!! Thank you ladies!! 5 starts times 10!!Services: Gel manicure, Pedicures

Jodi Traversaro: Anthony welcomed me, helped me select a perfect color, served me delicious Vietnamese coffee, played a Vietnam tourism show, and gave me a much needed neck/ shoulder massage. What a nice experience!Service: Gel manicure

Phillisha Duffey: I went here for a pedicure and dip nail manicure. My pedicure was really good, very detailed and overall really nice. However when it came time for my nails I felt the technique used was very sloppy and rushed (instead of dipping the wet brush into powder, she dusted my nails with the powder). Meanwhile another woman was also getting dip nails and the technician did a very thorough job. Please avoid getting a dip manicure from the young female technician with a heart necklace. ( There were no name tags, she appears to do a lot of talking on the behalf of the business) Update: 7/29- my nail coloring is already coming off after 4 days, just ridiculous.

Modern Nail Bar- Mt. Vernon: what do users think?

Rebecca von dem Hagen: For $57, you get a polish change that does not include a “manicure”. I got my nails done (dip) 2 days ago and they’re already grown out because they didn’t cut my cuticles. I called and confirmed that it was not a mistake. This has been my go to spot since they opened but I will not be going back.

Kaelah Horwath: I will never be back. First, I had an appointment which I was 10 minutes early for, and they took 2 walk ins in that time before me and I had to wait. Then, Tracy cut the corner of my big toe. It was bleeding and she just kept trying to cut off the skin. Then sprayed alcohol directly on it and tried to say I already had a cut on my toe. I was supposed to get a full set. I asked for coffin, and Tracy said no almond will look better. Ok fine so I get almond. They were all completely crooked, and uneven not symmetrical. I tried to say this and asked for her to fix them. She got mad and said I’m wasting her time. Another worker came over and said yes they are crooked fix it. After fixing all of the crooked ones they did not match each other and looked like stiletto, super pointy and thin. I said this is not almond I don’t want this. She said I will have to pay to have them taken off. She starts cutting them violently and hurting my fingers. Services: Gel manicure , Pedicures , Acrylic nails , Manicures

Mariona Franklin: Seems like a really nice place, so I booked over a week ahead for a full set acrylics and a pedicure. Got there to find a line of 3 other people waiting for a nail tech (at least one of them also had an appointment) and all of the 8 employees were already busy taking care of customers and estimated at least a 30 minute wait… I asked if they would make an exception and cancel my appointment so I could go elsewhere and they agreed. Seems like they do great work, but don’t count on actually getting your nails done even if you have an appointment.

Sabrina Farmer: I had an absolutely lovely experience! I booked through ClassPass and everyone was super nice. My gel pedicure looks great.

Nina Feldman: Such a nice experience! I only had a short time available to get a quick manicure and they were able to accomodate so quickly. Service was efficient, considerate, and well-done. Really nice atmosphere and aesthetic as well!Service: Manicures

Sara Clark: Esthetics is on point. I think this shop mainly paints a color designs are not done well here. Go for a nice pedicure and simple manicure but do noy expect skills.

Fanise Cannon: My go to nail place in MTVN triangle! Love how they do my nails! Only downside is that you will usually end up spending a couple hours in there but can’t complain when my nails come out looking so good! Great salon!

Teresa Jones: This is my go to place. Everyone is extremely friendly.Price is fair and the people working there are very sweet. They were so good with my kiddos as well. Thank you!!Services: Pedicures, Manicures

Jayde Lyon: Never going back to this establishment again. Only two of the technicians actually know how to do nails there, which is fine. However, when I booked an appointment with a specific technician, they did not honor it. I arrived a few minutes early, and she was just beginning a new client, but they did nothing to honor my appointment. Instead they tried to have someone else do my nails that messed my nails up prior. Never returning to this terrible nail bar.

Navy Nails And Spa Washington: what do users think?

Mia Ashley: I got the dip powder which I always get and I am pleased with that outcome, however I highly do not recommended getting eyebrows done here. After I told the lady I wanted to leave my eyebrows thick she completely took my eyebrows off and left them thin.

Tonee Jones: I asked for the first picture and got the second. The worst experience ever! If you can’t do something say that. The nails are also deadly sharp! Not stiletto at all. Such a waste of money.

Jen W: Great local place for a quick manicure. The technician was professional and efficient. I will be back to check out a pedicure.

Leslie Ward: This was my second time there. I got there 5 minutes late and they were expecting me. However, they did not seem happy to provide service. The pedicure person tried to fill up a dirty bowl, when I said something they put plastic in it. The water was Luke warm (at this point I considered leaving)... They never asked about temperature They rarely addressed me just talked to each other poking and yanking my hands and feet to communicate when I needed to do something... I stayed because they were working fast and I thought they provided good quality (although I knew I’d never come back). But I’m posting this because two days later my gel is chipping off the acrylic. I had such an unpleasant experience, I don’t even want them to fix it. Not sure if it’s because I’m a black women with locs (no way to be sure), but it felt personal (as they were friendly to others when I went the first time). G Services: Manicures , Pedicures

Tanesia Wheeler: My fourth time coming love my nails and very convenient to get to

Jessica Fitts: I looked for a good nail salon in DC that was reasonably priced for a long time before this placed open right next to my apartment! The owner knows me by name and she is super nice and accommodating. I have always received amazing manicures which are around $30 for gel (excluding tip) from all employees and they can get you in right away which I appreciate. The gels have lasted between 2-4 weeks for me. Highly recommmend.

Monique 92: Had a good experience, but my technician kept stopping to talk to the other technicians that was in there. Price was slightly high than what i would normally pay, but outside of that, it was a decent experience. Keeping the front door open is not really good especially right now since its the summer season and mosquitos was definitely flying in along with flies

Kendall Bennett: After I pointed out numerous times that I did not like the shape of my nails. The nail tech fixed it begrudginglyI. In frustration I went home to see my nails had many imperfections. More importantly their Covid precautions were not as strict as I feel they should’ve been.

Modern Nail Bar - Navy Yard/Capitol Riverfront: what do users think?

J Compton: I went to this nail bar simply because I didn’t feel like driving anywhere outside of Navy Yard. Bonus points for being open later than most salons (as of this review, they’re open until 9pm!) Michele did my *Dip Powder w/extensions* meaning nail tips with powder color + gel top coat. She was very detailed and thorough, plus she didn’t get frustrated that I kept asking her to adjust the shape of my nails here and there. I liked that she was very quiet and polite (sometimes I really don’t feel like talking for an hour straight), but not stand-offish. My walk-in service with Michele was very pleasant, and I will definitely ask for her next time. Price is standard for the NCR. Comparable to everywhere else, and no crazy add-on charges. Despite the existing reviews, I recommend this nail bar.

Megan Swilley: I don’t normally write reviews but I am very unsatisfied with my nails. They are very chunky and not smooth and started peeling after 2 days. Also, I got SNS but she added a top coat of gel and it’s very bumpy and not smooth at all with lines galore. I went back to get them “fixed” but they just wanted to add more gel top coat. Not exactly what I did not want. I wanted them smoothed out. Plus, I was cut 2 times. I sadly would not recommend this salon. ESP for the price.

Vrenda Cain: This place is never on time. My appointment was 45 minutes late and only then was I told I couldn’t have a wax because the person who does it was gone.. It has to literally be the worst set of nails I have ever had done on my 40 years on earth. The color is uneven. You can see the pain strokes. The shapes are wrong. This is supposed to be matte and coffin fill. Clearly not done properly. My skin is cut. I have to look like complete trash with these nails on my birthday. I am going to have to get these fixed immediately. I’m genuinely considering disputing the charge with my credit card company as the business did not respond to my complaints or email when I emailed them immediately after I left. Service: Acrylic nails

a Font: NEVER EVER COME HERE! I have gotten my nails done every 2.5 weeks for about to years. I’ve gone to many different salons as I move around pretty often but always get SNS dip powder on my natural nails. Well, I just recently moved to DC close by and was so excited to come by as the salon appears very nice. Let me tell you that in this case appearances mean nothing. I got my usual, paid the steep price and moved on. Well, 2.5 weeks later I decided to come back to the same place just to find out THEY GAVE ME A FUNGUS. Everyone crowded around me but REFUSED to speak to me or tell me what was going on. Out of all the nail salons I’ve gone to this has never happened to me. I am absolutely UPSET and even more upset with how they handled this entire situation. Please please avoid this place at all cost. Service: Manicures

Savannah: I have been going here for a couple of months and will not be returning. Due to mismanagement on the booking/business side, you will get an appointment only to arrive and have to wait increasingly longer times to get seen. Most recently, I booked a 5pm appointment for a dip manicure and was passed over for another person, because not all of the stylists are trained to do it. After waiting almost an hour, I asked how long it was going to be, only to be told to wait 30 more minutes. I was not the only person there who left because of the poor time management. They really either need to hire more technicians, or better organize their schedule calendar, because asking customers to wait for an hour and a half for a service that they had reserved an appointment for is only going to tank their business. Save yourself the headache, go somewhere else. Service: Dip powder

Hello Nurse Ash: Probably one of the worst experiences I have had at a nail salon. I made an appointment for 7:30PM mind you they close at 9PM. When I walked in I waited for 20 minutes! When the lady started on my toes she was in a rush to get it done because she knew I asked for a dip for my nails afterwards. When we finally got to my nails she was so rude. Rushing my nail set, aggressively filing down my long natural nails which I told her to specifically take her time because they were brittle. She looks at me and continues to file in a fast speed! I was literally cringing inside! I would not recommend. They are in a rush, rude, and don’t even do a great job. Don’t let the interior design fool you!

Chloe S: I never write reviews but this was the worst gel manicure I’ve ever had! I was in and out in 20 mins, my manicurist was obviously rushing throughout my entire appointment. She forgot to put a top coat… my gel manicure lasted 4 days. Starting peeling and cracking right away. Super disappointed especially since the first time I got a mani here it was amazing.

Nia Spencer: I’m stunned that in 2021 I can walk into an establishment and be completely and totally ignored by its staff. Several customers looked up when they heard me come in but none of the employees did. It dragged on so long that I started my watch timer. After 2 minutes, I approached a table where three employees were standing and said: excuse me. Who do I talk to about having my nails done? Silence. I started to wonder if I was being punked. I said it again. Two of the three looked at me but Still. Said. Nothing. An older male employee kind of glared at me hostilely while remaining silent. By now every other customer was openly staring wide-eyed, so I knew this situation wasn’t the norm here. (Is it a coincidence that I was the only non-white customer? Your call.) Finally, a youngish man brusquely said: can I help you? I repeated my inquiry for the third time. He said (as if I were inconveniencing him): can you just wait just a second? And turned his back. I chuckled to myself at the absurdity of the situation. Finally he said: okay. Please pick a color. As I walked to do so, the hostile-ish older male employee walked from behind the table, walked perpendicular to me and, eyes firmly in my direction, BUMPED INTO ME. He didn’t have to. There was plenty of space. What. The. *%^#?! I continued to walk toward the color table, which led to the door I’d come in, and walked right out. You cannot have a single dime of my money after this treatment. And I may pursue this beyond just a bad review because it’s 200% unacceptable.

Catherine Nowaczyk: Never written a review before but had to: Don’t waste your time or money. Made an appointment but waited over 40 minutes and then it took over an hour to do dip nails. Asked for white, was given 3 coats of a translucent powder and when they were about to put it away, asked if I could have more coats bc my nail wasn’t white. Then they said “oh real white?” And brought over white powder. Only did a second coat on 5 of my nails and I had to ask for them to all get the same amount of coats. Only thing I asked for was the keep the length bc some of my nails were breaking off and they filed my nails all down to nubs. They filed 5 different times during the entire process and every time I asked to please watch the length, don’t file off corners, they don’t need to be even. All of my fingers are oval nubs now. Also every coat of liquid that was put on my nails got on my skin ever time, without fail, so my cuticles got dip and the top coat UVd on as well. Service: Dip powder
