Häagen-Dazs® Ice Cream Shop: what do users think?
lorena S
lorena S: Haagen-Dazs brings me good memories from old days. I’ve been to different locations in Nevada, California, Florida, DC, Texas. I’ve loved their ice cream since I was a teen and would go to the mall and could only afford to buy an ice cream and people watch but this place is always consistently great. I always get the dulce de leche Sunday, it’s the perfect mix of dulce de leche ice cream with bananas more ice cream, whipped cream and more dulce de leche drizzled all over. It’s almost perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner or sure a snack would work too. The place was spotless clean and the area is a nice area were you can walk alone and feel safe and find parking near by. We went close to closing time and the customers continued to come but they continued to serve them and greet them, unlike other ice cream places that don’t want to serve you(we came from another shop were they sent us away due to them not wanting to work because it was 15 mins before closing). I will continue to come to Haagen-Dazs and to this specific location whenever I’m in the area.
Brahim AHMED
Brahim AHMED: They have lots of choices and flavors!Clean place and staff are friendly. The only issue is parking lots!
Mohammad Umair
Mohammad Umair: We already know the ice cream was great! Even though the store was packed, the staff was amazing. They were patient with each individual, polite and were quick.
Nils Hünerfürst
Nils Hünerfürst: Ice is pretty good but no restrooms for customers.
Andrea Dietrich
Andrea Dietrich: My birthday ice cream cake was delicious! Thank you HD GW for making me feel special!Giving 4 stars due to the navigation challenges my husband encountered when picking up the cake.
Chanpen Tee
Chanpen Tee: The staff is friendly. The store is nice and clean. The icecream is delicious
WNFB
WNFB: Ice cream is delicious, but small place to hangout .
Anna Maria Boß
Anna Maria Boß: Ice cream is decent, staff is rude and unhelpful. Refused a three year old child the use of the bathroom, claimed it was a Covid safety measure - while nobody was wearing masks or keeping their distance. Absolutely ridiculous.

Mount Desert Island Ice Cream: what do users think?
Elizabeth Dou
Elizabeth Dou: The best ice cream place in the area! Super clean inside with friendly staff. Lots of fun flavors including the standard chocolate and vanilla. The ice cream was creamy and flavorful. The lemon berry poppy seed was a unique flavor that tasted amazing. There is a small outdoor seating area with a benches next door.
Bradley Farster
Bradley Farster: My daughter and I love this place! They have some very creative flavors, and their recipes have natural ingredients and flavorings. Their maple walnut is amazing, and my daughter loves the gluten-free/dairy-free blueberry basil sorbet. Be sure to check it out if you are in the area!
Jessica Long
Jessica Long: Went there last night. We got the salted caramel, which was a little too salty. We got the coffee, which was good to me, but too bitter to my girlfriend. We got the pralines and cream, which we thought was the best. We got the pretzel and toffee, which needed more toffee to pretzel ratio and not just dark chocolate. It was weird that the single allowed for 1.5 flavors, but the double couldn’t accommodate 3 flavors with 1 full scoop and two half scoops. Hence why we got some many flavors because I had to upgrade to the triple. We got one other flavor, but unsure what it was. There is a long line at night, but they didn’t cut us off, which was nice. There’s are to sit outside the shop, which was also nice.
Alicia D
Alicia D: A balance between some staples and a rotation in of new flavors keep me coming back. The cones are fresh, but they may run out of the waffle cone in the evening. The first time I went, I was disappointed by the tiny scoop size, but since then, they have been more generous with the scoop. I forget to take a picture every time, but the pictures from the other reviews reflect what I have had and seen.
Amy Chiou
Amy Chiou: You can get two flavors in a single which is just so fun. I loved their buttermint which I paired with cookies and cream for a wonderful combination. My friend said her strawberry paired with lemon was fantastic. We may have gone two days in a row...
Megan Miller
Megan Miller: Bay of Figs is my favorite ice cream flavor on the planet. I live in Colorado and I’ve tried to reproduce it at home with no luck. It’s smooth, creamy, sweet, bitter. So. Good.
J C
J C: Came on a friday night and they didnt have waffle cones??? Besides that the ice cream was pretty average. I did not like the Kulf(?) flavor. The blueberry one was good. Im highly critical of Jeni’s and Jeni’s is better than this.
J Acharya
J Acharya: Very fun creative flavors! Highly recommend getting the blueberry sour cream crumble!

Southwest Soda Pop Shop: what do users think?
Kristy Kairos
Kristy Kairos: Mango ice cream was incredibly good. Lemonade drink to die for. Proud to say it’s black business owned. Great for your sweet tooth needs. Will be going back again.
Kris
Kris: Amazing shop! Staff is super friendly ! Not only is the ice cream options amazing the food options are good! Definitely recommend
Nick Webster
Nick Webster: Southwest Soda Pop Shop is a cute outdoor ice cream and soda stand. Serving soft serve and scoop ice creams , floats, and sodas. A wonderful stop on the north end of the newly opened DC Wharf. Look closely for the shop since there is still a lot of construction. It is located on Maine Ave directly in front of the Seafood Market. There is ample bench seating under a shaded awning. It will be even nicer to visit once the construction is completed.
Shenita Y White
Shenita Y White: Best soft serve ice cream ever! It is so smooth and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness and vanilla! I had vanilla in a medium cup (but wish I gotten the large). There’s always tomorrow! Sorry about the photo, it was basically gone by the time I thought to take a picture.
Dondré
Dondré: This is a great outdoor quick ice cream shop. The staff is cool and the smoothie I ordered was good. They offer all kinds of ice cream, banana splits, milk shakes, smoothies and more. They have ice cream sandwhiches made of real cookies and your choice of ice-cream flavor.
Roniqua Jeffries
Roniqua Jeffries: So good! A must stop ice cream shop at the wharf on the fresh seafood side. Pictured is the cherry blossom ice cream sandwich on sugar cookies. Ask about their secret menu. This is a walk up shop with no indoor seating. There are some pub tables outside. On my last visit they were selling hotdogs and half smokes as well as ice cream.
Margie Nguyen
Margie Nguyen: Waited in line for about 20 minutes around 2:00 on a Saturday. Very nice people and great treats! Can’t wait to come back and try other flavors! Wanted to come out to support a local black owned family business!
Raiana Berman
Raiana Berman: Heard some great reviews and always ready to support a B.O.B., I decided to try it out for myself a few weeks ago. My friend got a chipwich and really enjoyed it. I ordered the cake explosion and immediately saw a hair baked into the brownie sitting right on top. The line to address this was over 30 min wait so I threw it out and took a loss. Customer service could be better and possibly more seating to accommodate all the customers in their long line.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams: what do users think?
Amanda (WhatsDaHype)
Amanda (WhatsDaHype): I was pleasantly surprised when I found out Jeni’s was in walking distance after eating an early dinner in DC. The ice cream didn’t disappoint on the two visits to this location. Except for their non-dairy options and their version of cookies and cream. The non-dairy options are coconut base so the flavors advertised didn’t match the name. I tried banana pudding but it tasted like coconut ice cream. And the young lady serving me did give that disclaimer. Their cookies and cream version was not sweet at all. They use to offer samples but that’s on hold due to Covid. Their sugar cones aren’t as sweet as I prefer. They have a great crunch and a hint of salt.
Samuel M. Worthington IV
Samuel M. Worthington IV: We’ve been big fans of all good ice cream and Jeni’s is certainly one of them. Almost all of their flavors are well thought out and made well ( some more than others) and the waffle cones are great. The only reason they get 4 stars is the scoops are ridiculously small, especially for the price that you’re paying. It seems that they’re getting smaller since we’ve been going here, too
Muniba Khan
Muniba Khan: I got a single-sized waffle bowl with the salted peanut with chocolate flecks and the everything bagel seasonal flavors. Everything bagel ice cream has no business being so delicious. I really appreciate that they have some good salty flavors.
anu yadav
anu yadav: Sad they were out of the pints of caramel pecan sticky bun dairy free ice cream. It is decadent. I went in. This Jeni’s has a line around the building on Saturday nights. Like a club. I think I understand why.
Anna Baker
Anna Baker: It was decent. I had one scoop of lavender ice cream and one scoop of strawberry and cream ice cream in a waffle cone. The waffle cone was not flavorful and was very soft/almost crumbled apart. The ice cream flavors were nice but NOT good enough to justify their high price point. I’ve had much better ice cream from both mom and pop shops, as well as higher end ice cream parlors, for much less. I’m glad I gave it a try as it is always so crowded, but I definitely will not be going back.
Autumn Boyd
Autumn Boyd: We got the ice cream sampler. Best ice cream I’ve ever tasted! Flavors were all so vibrant and unique.
Amber Worthington
Amber Worthington: Best ice cream I’ve ever had. The sweet biscuits & peach jam was phenomenal & their waffle cone take it over the finish line 🏆
R Lin
R Lin: Respect to Jeni’s- they really do have splendid ice cream! I’d heard of this places a few times before so it was nice to finally try it. I love that their flavor combinations are pretty nontraditional from what you see at your run of the mill ice cream shop. And they back it up with the product actually being really yummy! My specific visit to this location was a tiny bit disappointing as I asked for several different flavors that they were out of or couldn’t serve for some reason. It was quite odd. But the workers were very nice, and along with the good ice cream I did eventually get it really mostly made up for it. Who doesn’t always want some delicious ice cream at any time of day, week or circumstance?? (if your answer is anything except “um yes always!” please keep scrolling and don’t talk to me lol)

Scott O'Brien
Scott O'Brien: Good ice cream selection. Friendly service. Good ice cream. Good location.
Kevin Lanes
Kevin Lanes: I ordered a banana shake, was told I had to pay an additional .75 for the banana.. cool.. not really but ok… the shake was TERRIBLE!! An $8.00 glass of milk with bananas in it. I’ve gone to another Hershey location and had an amazing banana shake. This dude clearly has no idea what he’s doing. Idk why I even paid for it.. SMH
Selim Yaman
Selim Yaman: The servers, especially the Afghan-Turkish young lady, were so helpful! Thank you!
Atory
Atory: I first felt a little hesitant ordering one at here as this place seemed old, but while I was ordering and waiting for my ice cream, i saw super clean floor and counter top. I didn’t even see any dust at the corners of everything. Also staff was very friendly. My Ice cream was also good.
Brenda Vasquez
Brenda Vasquez: Smoothies aren’t sweet at all. Watered down and overpriced. Also who charges 75 cents for whip cream???
Kennedi Sullivan
Kennedi Sullivan: Me and my boyfriend walked into the store was not greeted. The Caucasian lady stared at us until I said hello first. All around rude especially because This was my first time at the store
Michael Shallal
Michael Shallal: After spending $32 I asked for a washroom they pointed to the Starbucks across the street. 🤨
Response: it is not about how much you spend if we do not have we try to help you to find the closes place dose have a washroom.
Sunil Puri
Sunil Puri: Terrible service. Overpriced. No tasting of ice cream

The Creamery at Union Market: what do users think?
Sassy Sauce
Sassy Sauce: This creamery is very simple but full with flavor. Today I tried the pistachio, a friend tried the lemon blueberry and another had the chocolate. All 3 were good and rich with flavor. The lemon blueberry had a very strong lemon taste that I loved. The blueberry was subtle. The chocolate chip cookies were just ok. Definitely not my favorite. But they were soft and fresh. I prefer a denser cookie and a little more butter. This cookie was light with large chocolate chunks. The staff was friendly and efficient.
Leslie Williston
Leslie Williston: this ice cream was wonderful! so creamy and the waffle cones were lovely. even got to recommend to people
Response: Thank you so much! We hope you come again
J Acharya
J Acharya: Perfect pistachio ice cream. You can taste that the ingredients are high quality.
Response: Thank you-this means so much!
Omar “Cali” James
Omar “Cali” James: ** Hands in Late Pass for the review🙃 ** 📄 Theres a great Ice Cream selection and the cookies are super soft. This is a really simple review. Cant go wrong with some really good creamy ice cream and their cookies.
Response: Thank you!!
isabel coss
isabel coss: Best ice cream in DC, classic flavors done well. Also you can buy delicious well sourced cheese and dairy.
Wood Glue
Wood Glue: Only 4 stars for discussing hard that vegan dairy- and honey-free ice cream remains vegan even when placed right next to non-vegan ice cream *4-finger-facepalm*
Thought Trafficker
Thought Trafficker: I absolutely love this spot! I have enjoyed samples of all ice cream flavors, and highly recommend the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, the Pumpkin Pecan Crumble, and the Vanilla Bean… although this one time they made ice cream out of their scrumptious Snickerdoodle cookies, and that was the best! Not only is the product offering completely delicious in its’ entirety… but the exceptional customer service just keeps bringing me back for more! My upbringing included the following mantra: “You scream, I scream, We all scream for ice cream!” (Never has it applied more than at The Creamery, where they’ve even perfected the Urban Campfire experience for you, your family and your friends!)
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words!
Danny Dang
Danny Dang: Friendly and courteous staff. The ice cream here is full of flavor and thick. Do not have to worry about rushing to eat or carry out before it starts melting like other ice creams.
Jolene Hostetler
Jolene Hostetler: My daughter and I just visited the creamery at Union Market today. She faces dairy intolerance so the oat milk options they serve is such a TREAT! The Coffee Chip is her favorite!

Erin Schettone
Erin Schettone: I used DoorDash to order a chocolate devotion (chocolate ice cream, brownie pieces, and hot fudge) with extra brownie pieces and added cookie dough pieces. I received vanilla ice cream with brownie pieces and chocolate chips.
Jessica Fox
Jessica Fox: The staff here is great, really friendly and helpful. However, be aware that the franchisee pockets all tips left via credit card, no credit card tips are paid to the staff. Incredibly deceptive way to run a business and profit off of tips they damn well know are left for the staff. Disgusting.
Aleja Castri
Aleja Castri: I’ll give this store more stars if that was an option, I had a little issue with an online order but Aidan stepped in and handled it like the best manager ever, he was so nice and helpful he not only fixed the issue, he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my tasty ice creams!🙃🙂
Cornelius Lewis
Cornelius Lewis: Went there today and none of the employees seem happy at all to be there at all especially the cashier ! Was not greeted by any one no nothing… ice was good though
Lisa Lavelle
Lisa Lavelle: The ice cream here is SO GOOD! I just had dark chocolate and coffee mixed with chocolate shavings and coconut. The smoothies are good, too.

Larry's Homemade Ice Cream: what do users think?
Audrey Osburn
Audrey Osburn: Larry’s is awesome! Wonderfully homemade ice cream without so many of the additional ingredients/preservatives/emulsifiers that big companies use. Not to mention Larry himself was there! He’s a gentleman and made my boyfriend I feel welcome and made us laugh. Great atmosphere and ice cream here.
Response: Thank you for coming to Larry's and for your sweet review❣️ We are so pleased you enjoyed your Homemade Ice Cream❣️
Lloyd Spencer
Lloyd Spencer: My vanilla chocolate chip ice cream cone with a perfect ending to a very long day. Homemade ice cream that is very creamy and actually made by the owner.👍👍
Response: Thank you for your sweet review! We're so happy you enjoyed your ice cream cone!
Nate B
Nate B: This place was great. The ice cream was really good. Service was fantastic. It is a little hidden gem that has been there over 30 years. I would definitely recommend this place.
Response: Thank you for your Sweet review! We think you're a gem too!
Sophronia Vachon
Sophronia Vachon: This place truly is a hidden gem! The ice cream was delicious and not too sugary, prices were reasonable for the part of town (near Dupont Circle). But the best part is the owner Larry! He has a sarcastic sense of humor and had us laughing the entire time. I think some people mistake his humor for rudeness, but we loved it.
Response: Thanks for your sweet stars and sweet review!
Eamon Kostopulos
Eamon Kostopulos: Larry is a just man who has been put on this Earth to do one thing, serve delicious ice cream. His loving but firm attitude is purely for efficiency. If you have had a bad experience at this place it is purely because you didn’t live up to Larry’s standards. The ice cream is top notch in DC and I can easily say I will be going again.
Response: Thank you, finally someone who understands Larry! We are, so please you had a great experience and will be coming back. Can't wait to see you again❣️
Lacey LeCroy
Lacey LeCroy: Best ice cream. It has that homemade creamy flavor. The strawberry cheesecake flavor is amazing. My son says it is the best vanilla he has ever had. And Larry is a funny guy too.
Response: Thank you for your sweet review! We're very happy your little man loved his Vanilla ice cream!
Holly Gross
Holly Gross: Just wrapping up our trip in DC and stopped by for ice cream. Excellent selection and so tasty! Larry kept us entertained too. Funny guy!
Response: Thank you for your sweet review and visiting Larry's during your trip into DC!
MATIAS STIPICEVIC ETCHEGARAY
MATIAS STIPICEVIC ETCHEGARAY: The worst experience I’ve ever had in Washington DC. Larry was rude, disrespectful and denigrated my family because we are Latin. Absolutely shameful and disgusted by his attention. I don’t recommend this place at all. You can buy ice cream from CVS a block from here and its way better and overall will be a happier experience. Don’t come to this place.
David Goldstein
David Goldstein: Been here before and prices were much higher than they should be, but ok it’s DuPont. Came in tonight and the gentleman behind the counter had such a rude tone and just came across grouchy. If you’re going to charge over $6 for a cookie bar the service better be top notch. There are other places more worth your dollars than this one.
Response: Hello Mr.Goldstein, It's a shame you feel that way Sir. The cookie you refer to is called the Incredible Cookie. It is a 5 layer brownie that has been made by us since 1984, nearly 40 yrs. We are one of the institutions whch have survived more than two resetions, roits and now covid. We are not rich enough to use cheap ingredients and sell mediocre goods. When asked if it is any good, in reference to products we've sold for so long, we usually always answer back with sarcastic humor. Lawrence J Cenkci Owner

Monica Arciga
Monica Arciga: Cute ice cream spot for delicious ice cream. They offer 24 flavors, including dairy free options and homemade waffle cones. Indoor and outdoor seating. Super friendly service!
Response: Monica, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and your support for the business. It’s very thoughtful of you for taking time out to review us in such a positive way. Best regards, Charles- Everyday Sundae
Maggie Stinson
Maggie Stinson: Ice cream flavors at Everyday Sundae are absolutely delicious and the owner is very welcoming. He always suggest that we try different flavors, and each time we are pleasantly surprised by how amazing they are. Cappuccino crunch, pecan praline, and graham cracker are a few of my favorites! This place does not disappoint. We can’t stay away!
Response: Maggie, Thank you so much! I can’t tell you how much joy I get out of being here for you, and when you come in and are so supportive, it makes me feel so humble and proud that folks like you support us. Best regards, Charles - Everyday Sundae
Geneva Guadalupe (G)
Geneva Guadalupe (G): My friends and I really enjoyed our ice cream! There are a wide variety of flavors to try! They have a wonderful allergy chart which notes common dietary restrictions, which is perfect, as someone who has allergies! The owner is super nice! My order was technically two scoops of ice cream, one scoop of coffee and another of cappuccino crunch, so I definitely got a great value with the amount of ice cream I received!
Response: Geneva, We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit and that it was worthwhile. Your review is precious to us and I just wanted to thank you personally. Best regards, Charles - Everyday Sundae
Ali Anthes
Ali Anthes: I’m posting this about ten minutes after just leaving Everyday Sundae (long enough to finish my ice cream). What wonderful ice cream and even better service. The ice cream is delicious and creamy. There’s a mix of traditional flavors and more unusual ones, as well as some with lots of bits and toppings in them and some just plain, creamy ice cream. My favorite was the graham cracker and other folks getting ice cream that night were raving about the cookie dough and cappuccino crunch. A “single” actually comes with three scoops and you can do all different flavors. The service is perhaps even more special than the ice cream. The owner Charles engages with everyone in the shop while helping multiple customers at the same time. He offers lots of samples (and even gave me a bonus scoop when I couldn’t decide on a flavor!). He’s kind and it’s clear he genuinely cares about every person who comes in. I want to go back for more delicious ice cream, but honestly more so to support this incredible neighborhood business and service. Thanks for all you’ve built, Charles!
Response: Ali, Your positive feedback has had an enormous effect on me. I have this swelling of pride and confidence from the words that you took time to express. It goes much deeper than just a review. My literary prowess is inefficiently able to express how much your thoughtful remarks have reached me. Thank you is the best that I can do, but it is lacking the heartfelt gratitude and confidence that I can only feel and not sufficiently express. Best regards, Charles - Everyday Sundae
Laura Vigliotta
Laura Vigliotta: Delicious ice cream and such a friendly shop. I wish I had time to try all the flavors, but going with my gut did not disappoint. The cappuccino crunch and hazelnut fudge were wonderful. Can’t wait to come back regularly as the weather stays warm. Thank you!!
Response: Laura, Thank you so much for allowing us to be here for you. I am so happy that you enjoyed not only your ice cream, but your overall experience with the shop. It was a pleasure to have you in the store. Best regards, Charles - Everyday Sundae
Ting C
Ting C: Definitely of the best ice cream shops in DC. Amazing flavors and amazing ingredients!! The allergy chart is super helpful! Charles is such a wonderful person. Hands down best customer service in DC!! So excited to have found this gem of a place close to home. If you are an ice cream lover definitely don’t miss Everyday Sundae!
Response: Ting, I don’t think you can truly understand how flattered I am to hear you mention me personally and to be spoke of in such a kind way! I am truly grateful and overjoyed that you had a good experience and also took the time to tell the world. You are always welcome at Everyday Sundae and we hope to exceed your expectations every time. Best regards, Charles - Everyday Sundae
Madeleine Johnsson
Madeleine Johnsson: Favorite ice cream spot in dc, hands down. The owner is absolutely lovely and let us try so many flavors. Our favorites were the cappuccino crunch, bourbon, and strawberry cheesecake. Great music, great energy, and great scoop-shaped tiles, too!
Response: Thank you so much Madeleine! I remember you saying that you like the backsplash, and I appreciate you taking time out to give us such a wonderful review! Looking forward to seeing you again. Best regards, Charles- EverydaySundae
Nicholas Jablonski
Nicholas Jablonski: I cannot overstate how excellent this ice cream is. Charles, the owner, was cool as hell and let us try many of his wonderfully unique flavors. They were all equally amazing. This was basically a religious experience in ice cream form. Try the bourbon truffle, try the banana pudding. Try it all! It’s great to see a place like this open in Petworth. We’ll obviously be regulars. See you there!
Response: Nicholas, Let me start off by first saying thank you so much for coming in and supporting us! Secondly, I am so grateful for your review and I can’t tell you how glad I am that you had a good experience and we hope to never let you down! Best regards, Charles- Everyday Sundae

Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee: what do users think?
Mischa
Mischa: Very good, classy, and modern place. This place is definitely worth a visit or more. I have been here quite a few times myself and had their chai latte, hot chocolate, and cappuccino. They are all great! I also tried their affogato, but at a different location, which was also great! This place is in a great location as well.
Riley Hoagland
Riley Hoagland: What an amazing place to experience super flavorful sorbetto! I chose the pineapple honey lime and champagne mango. It was not too sweet and really felt like the best blended and freshest versions of the fruit!
arun varughese
arun varughese: Excellent coffee and gelato. Tried a bunch of flavors by tasting and finally bought the lemon cardamom and pistachio. Both were excellent. Lemon cardamom: Very slight cardamom flavor and a weak lemon profile. Pistachio: Strong pistachio flavor and I loved it. Sorbet: tasted a bunch of them and did not feel as good as the gelato. Hazelnut latte: Nice hazelnut flavor.
Wei Hsu
Wei Hsu: The gelato is the best! They provide many different and unique flavors for you. You can have a cone for free!
Claire Mizutani
Claire Mizutani: Got some dessert here with my dad the other night. I was surprised but pleased that a small can be two flavors. My dad got Clementine and Pineapple honey lime. He said he enjoyed both but the pineapple flavor was a bit weak. I order Hojicha and Marscapone and berries. The Green tea flavor was incredible and not too sweet or bitter. We got a to go cup for my mom but I didn’t hear her opinion on the flavors. They have a sign that shows where they are sourcing their ingredients that I thought was nice. I wish there was some outdoor seating but I can understand if their location doesn’t permit them to offer that.
A S
A S: Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee is a great place for a sweet creamy treat and an espresso. The mascarpone gelato was my favorite. It was very creamy and rich. All the other flavors are fantastic as well.
Andrew Windheim
Andrew Windheim: Late afternoon visit this past Saturday. Had the dark chocolate and Vietnamese cinnamon gelato and a americano. Gelato was great, the combo of flavors was interesting. Im not a fan of americano coffee but the regular was out. That said coffee had really nice flavor and smooth finish. Place was very busy. Location is great, right , one block from National Gallery and Capital One Arena and on the edge of high end shopping mall. Particularly nice spot this time of year with Christmas decorations up.
George Basily
George Basily: Best Gelato I had in town by far! One of the few times where we all regretted nit getting a large cup instead of small. The store was clean and the employees were really helpful and efficient. All the flavors we tried were so good and we truly enjoyed them. Prices were very reasonable to the quality and quantity. Would definitely be stopping by again.

Dolcezza Gelato and Coffee: what do users think?
Emma Jeanie Beanie
Emma Jeanie Beanie: The staff are very friendly and helpful in making a decision between all the delicious flavors. I got hazelnut crackle and Swiss chocolate, and enjoyed both immensely. Also, their chai latte is one of the best I’ve ever had! Even though it’s a small shop, there are a few cute places to sit and the atmosphere is very cozy. Will definitely return on our next dc visit!
Sassy Sauce
Sassy Sauce: Nice place but the parking in this area is bad. There is a farmers market every weekend between the metro and this store. A lot of people are in the area to have lunch and shop and it’s difficult to find parking. Also, the gelato is good. There are a few different ones in the city and all of the locations are consistently good. The normal flavors you would expect. Sometimes during the cherry blossom festival there is a special flavor offered. When we went, there a small line but it moved quickly. The flavors are great and the texture is smooth. Always satisfied with my choice.
Arash Tavakoli
Arash Tavakoli: We ordered Latte and hot chocolate. Very nice place, welcoming barista, and much less sugar in their drinks which I absolutely loved!
Victoria Quiroga
Victoria Quiroga: Nice! The matcha latte was great. No vegan /dairy free sweets though :(
Iris Tan
Iris Tan: Recommended by a friend and when we came here we realized that we have been purchased this brand for a long time .. great to get a chance to eat gelato out of fresh lol
sia shetkar
sia shetkar: The berries and marscapone gelato makes me wish I lived in DC. Such a cute little shop, and the staff were so nice when I was deciding on flavors. Would recommend!
Timothy Chambers
Timothy Chambers: The gelato was AMAZING- the best I’ve had anywhere. So tasty, smooth, and a terrific span of flavors. The dark chocolate was rich. Loved the Dulce de Leche- my new fave. We enjoyed the service with a smile, the charming atmosphere, and my wife’s cappuccino was really good, too. We’ll be back. :)
Miguel Curiel
Miguel Curiel: Best gelato I’ve tasted in DC thus far. Plus, it is in a vibrant and youthful area so you can easily pass by after eating in any of the multiples nearby restaurants.

Capital City Sweetz: what do users think?
Will Details
Will Details: Glad I found this place! I was hungry and wanted something I can grab and go. Capital City Sweetz had many great options for lunch. After reading the menu I order a shrimp salad in a taco shell and cake pops, chocolate covered Oreos and pretzel sticks. The sweets were for Valentines Day. Leon was awesome, friendly and professional. Definitely will be back soon.
Response: Thank you very much. It was our pleasure! Please stop by again!!
Brian Stenger
Brian Stenger: My Snickers Sundae was good and the gentleman putting it together took extreme care to make sure it was right.
LaTasha Kelley
LaTasha Kelley: Its a black owned business 🙌🏾 The owner was very respectable and knowledgeable about the community and the store. As well as the products he sell. I order a few things today for my students and coworkers. I must say everything we order was outstanding🤞🏾❣ I will be back again❣
Nandi B.
Nandi B.: The ice cream was amazing 5 starsI had a banana boat. I love to support local business in the city, especially in southeast. However, do what to add the gentleman today seem worn out and I don’t want to assume he had an attitude. But his customer service was horrible. I kept thanking him because maybe it was a bad day and he had a bad customer. But no smile, no interaction, seemed annoyed when I asked to try a flavor. Not see if he thought I was going to not buy anything. (Reason why I took 2 stars) But I loved the ice cream and so did my daughter
Response: Thank you for the rating! We appreciate it. You gave us five stars, but only clicked on three :)
John Henri
John Henri: They have the best Chili dogs, wings and MILKSHAKES!!! The milkshake was handmade. The desserts are good too
Ana Beltran
Ana Beltran: Small yet comfortable local ice cream shop. My favorite treat place. Love their selection of flavors. Very nice staff. Hope they eventually get tables and shares inside.
Response: Thank You! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Roy Harrington
Roy Harrington: Great Family owned neighborhood creamery. They serve all types of ice cream, plus small fast food, like chili cheese nachos, hot wings, and hot dogs.
Response: Thank You! Hope to see you again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Toby's Homemade Ice Cream & Coffee: what do users think?
Michael Cieslak
Michael Cieslak: Great ice cream. Hit and miss on the weekdays if they will be open in the evening. Several trips over only to arrive and have it closed several hours prior to their posted closing. Call before you go.
David Sheedy
David Sheedy: Horrible customer service with rude employees serving average ice cream at best. Short guy with white baseball cap should be fired on the spot (got real quiet when I confronted him). Attention owner, read the reviews, seems like a recurring theme with this one employee. Establishments with this kind of customer service deserve to fail!
Beth Jensen
Beth Jensen: The ice cream is awesome. I love their iced coffee. The staff and owner are kind and down to Earth, love this local business!
Ree A
Ree A: a great selection and delicious local homemade ice cream. Friendly servers as well, but the flavors were limited.
thomas braden
thomas braden: One star because I can’t give zero! Terrible customer service - turned away at the door at 7:01 pm by a young lady who was absolutely rude, as she flipped the sign that read Closed to Open (yes you read that correctly) as we opened the door to join the line of 5-6 other customers in line. She then realized she was screwing w the sign and flipped it again. She then informed us that that they were closed at 7 pm - not 8 as it says on their website, yelp and google. “These are our hours for this week.” She said. It is 7:04 pm as I type this. As two elderly folks left and the door was opened, I asked the young man who was seeing other customers, “Really, can we come in?” And he said “No we’re closed!” I will never return!
Jaime Vincent
Jaime Vincent: This place is great but every time I come, they’re closed. Google says 8 and their website says 7, but the last two times I’ve come at 6 they were closed. Super disappointing.
Jer Cha
Jer Cha: Small town feel in the middle of Arlington. I hope they bring back the cicada special.

AJ Home-SOLUTIONS
AJ Home-SOLUTIONS: Good ice cream in and out good service great location especially during game MLB Nationals game time... You can just hang out on this street generally
Drake Way
Drake Way: It’s a Girl & Guy that works at the navy yard location everytime I go and they are so nice of course the ice cream is really good but their customer service is why I go back to their location 🙌🏽
Krunal Parekh
Krunal Parekh: They close at 11pm. We reached there at 10:50pm. We waited in a line and at around 10:57, they decided to not serve us and the party behind us. Wasted my time and thats unprofessional. Could have served us and the party behind us. There was no one behind them. Could have handled better. 😡😡
Denise Morris
Denise Morris: Chocolate devotion with coffee ice cream for the win EVERY time
Black Cobra
Black Cobra: Awesome place with great customer service & ice cream/smoothies
Sonia Ahmaripour
Sonia Ahmaripour: they were "closed" at 9:57 when it said 11 pm online smh 🤦‍♀️ and the lady at front was extremely nasty when we came up
Vega C
Vega C: Good ice cream, but scammed. I ordered a small with no addins, was given and charged for a medium with addins. I didn’t care about the size mistake much until I realized I was given a small bowl hidden inside a medium bowl. Lied to and overcharged. They don’t give refunds either. Got an extra free ice cream but I would have definitely preferred my 10.45 back...
TALIA Bfly
TALIA Bfly: Place was dirty. 5 people waiting in line but preparing uber orders was more important. 4 people working and we just waiting.....
S Green
S Green: Just showed up with my volleyball team @9:20 one person went in, then when the group walked up they said they were closed. Guess they don’t want business or they have employees that want to get paid for nothing. Website says open till 11pm
Rachel
Rachel: So excited to have a Cold stone open in SW! Amazing service and they did a great job in making our ice cream beautiful and delicious! Like it, love it and gotta have it!

Happy Ice Cream Cart: what do users think?
Joe Kim
Joe Kim: we got these for take out and was awesome !!! most of what we got were adult flavors but our kids enjoyed them as well
Katherine Marie Kulik
Katherine Marie Kulik: Fabulous ice cream. Honestly one of the top pints in my life, especially the pretzel, coffee, and oatmeal flavors.
Jeyashri Sridhar
Jeyashri Sridhar: Okay so first things first, know that I take ice cream seriously. I’ve tried a lot of ice cream in my life and a lot of boutique ice cream. Yes, price-wise, $15 a pint is definitely above average even for boutique brands but for Happy Ice Cream?? Dare I say, worth every penny. This is phenomenally good ice cream, probably top 5 I have ever had. I can’t wait to try more flavors but both the blood orange (perfect tart flavor, soooo creamy with a hint of olive oil that feels like it just belongs in there) and the oatmeal cookie (for the texture lovers, they do NOT skimp on the cookie and the chocolate) were magic and you can tell they’re using high quality ingredients and putting a lot of care into their product. Run, don’t walk here!!! No scoops right now, pints only till warmer weather.
Josh Roe
Josh Roe: THE BEST ICE CREAM IN DC!!! Absolutely friendly service, fantastic flavors (key lime and olive oil standouts) just a treasure.
Emy Dillon
Emy Dillon: Unique flavors & combinations friendly staff make for a great experience. Their waffle cones are as good as the ice cream.
Yulia Chentsova
Yulia Chentsova: Delicious ice cream, I especially liked the uniqueness of some of their flavors. For example they had a chocolate ice cream with olive oil and sea salt that was delicous. The people selling were friendly and wore masks so it was COVID safe. Composed by my 10 year old. Awwww it was in fact delicious

La Moo Creamery: what do users think?
Ana Villanueva
Ana Villanueva: If you are in a mood for ice cream, this place is legit to satisfy your sweet tooth. I’ve been coming here for the last 3 or so years and always get my favorite strawberry shortcake. This amazing family owned - Thai Rolled Ice Cream shop, will not disappoint!
Response: Thank you Ana for being our valued patron! We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you every time!
Priscila M. Funes
Priscila M. Funes: A small gem in Arlington, La Moo Creamery offers a fantastic customer service experience, especially for children. We love taking our kids there and see their big smiles while interacting with the person preparing their ice cream. The place has many options to pick from; whether is some specialty drink or a flavory ice cream creation, we have never walked unhappy with our choices. I highly recommend this place!
Response: Thank you Priscilla for your feedback! We LOVE serving our little patrons at the store! Especially when seeing their faces light up and saying how cool it is to see their ice cream is being made! We really appreciate your support!!
Jerome D.
Jerome D.: My family and I visited about two weeks ago from Stafford, VA. We had been searching for something different and found a gem. We were greeted and helped by the owner’s daughter. She was helpful and adorable all at the same time. The owner artfully made our treats and chatted with us afterwards. We enjoyed every bite and plan to return with our grandkids. This place is worth the visit.
Response: Thank you Jerome for your support and feedback! It was our pleasure serving you and your family, we hope to serve you all again soon!
debbie tyler
debbie tyler: Delicious and fun, our family has fallen in love with this well-run rolled ice cream business. my children said to add “10 out of 10 - so yummy” to this review!
Farhana Azad
Farhana Azad: It was SO good, literally my new favorite rolled ice cream spot😋Update: Just wanted to come back and say I came again and the service was just as good, if not better, than before! I highly recommend coming here!
Response: Thank you so much for the feedback!! We hope to be serving you again soon!! 😊
Jessica Hendricks
Jessica Hendricks: Absolutely amazing! So delicious and the staff was so sweet to my 3 year old who loved standing on the stool to watch them make his ice cream!
Manuj Bhandari
Manuj Bhandari: Great ice cream. Amazing flavors. They keep adding new flavors. Have added crepes, shaved ice and bubble tea as well.
Response: Thank you Manuj for your feedback! We look forward to serving you again soon!

Haagen-Dazs: what do users think?
Ashton Foldenauer
Ashton Foldenauer: Mediocre fruit smoothie but very good ice cream. Ridiculous prices. Around 10 dollars for the small smoothie but whatever. Nothing else to say.
Patrick Cassino
Patrick Cassino: Overpriced for mediocre iced cream. Miniscule portions where they give you the next size up or add toppings without your request for them so they can upcharge you. Avoid at all costs, and simply buy a pint of hagen daaz from a grocery store nearby.
saahib aalim zafir
saahib aalim zafir: I am glad this ice cream shop has survived the pandemic. I went there before going to the movie. The ice cream flavors are amazing and I pray for the survival of this amazing lounging place.
Melanie Smith
Melanie Smith: The most expensive milkshake in Chinatown! We paid $21+ for two milkshakes. They were delicious but not worth $21. You can walk a couple of blocks to Five Guys and buy a milkshake for $6.95. Or you can walk a bit further to Dolcezza for locally made gelato for $5.90 for a cup with two flavors. I’ll give HD positive stars for great customer service and you can order online and pick up. Plus the quality of the ice cream is what you expect from HD.
Dashawna Ivy
Dashawna Ivy: Very pricey. They made my ice cream cones sloppy and you have to ask for napkins instead of having a area for that.
Leila Bournes
Leila Bournes: He hands me the cup and it had a hair on the spoon he stuck in it. After pointing out the hair. I said i was okay n didnt want it anymore. He asked if he could replace it with something else. I said a kids cup of just vanilla. Which he was about to charge me for. Hence the review. We declined the ice cream completely. Whats worse is he looked confused. No thanks.
Mattie Quigley
Mattie Quigley: I paid $17 for two cones. When we checked out the three workers snickered at us.

Ben & Jerry’s: what do users think?
Brian Copes
Brian Copes: Disclosure- I’m not an ice cream regular eater, but I did have it so here’s my take. Menu - honestly, I wanted a white chocolate flavor but I didn’t see that listed on the menu. I had the strawberry cheesecake (small cup) and it was tasty! Real cheesecake and fresh strawberries too. The staff was super patient with me reading the huge menu. My date got very berry sorbet that was fresh and tasty. I’ll be getting that next time. It’s a nice location for a quick cool treat to help with the summer heat. I would go back to this location again. I say try them out yourself.
Response: Thanks so much! White Chocolate! What a great idea! Thanks for the review!
Lucette Mercer
Lucette Mercer: Ok. I’m a B&J’s fan, almost a groupie. So I was thrilled to see the sign and didn’t mind the line. So it sucked that my only choice was to get my fave Cherry Garcia in the pre-packed pint, but chocolate is a worthy replacement…Then I screwed up and added chocolate sprinkles. They were a bit off. I mean, it was good chocolate ice cream, but it didn’t quite live up to B&J’s. Folks were working hard and pretty efficiently but I also was a little a bit grossed out by the non-service dog in the line and the freezer case (see 3rd pic).
Response: Thanks for the stars! Sorry we missed some! Case was being repaired all good now! and we really cant challenge folks that have "service animals". We kinda have to let that ride. Come try us again and we will get the other two! Thanks
Matthew Fauske
Matthew Fauske: Big fan of using Groupons here. Did that again today and it doesn’t disappoint. Waffle cone Sunday with m&ms, whipped cream and hot fudge and a nice cold brew coffee brownie ice cream.
Shrey Sanger
Shrey Sanger: The ice cream flavour selection is pretty limited and the flavours available in the tubs and as scoops are different. Not ideal, but still ok. But the staff is the absolute worst. One guy serving was probably high and in no state to work. Asked us if we were ready three times in thirty seconds. Then his colleague came over and harassed us. Really bad experience. Get your ice-cream elsewhere.
Logan Hobbs
Logan Hobbs: Super dank, get a Krazy kone for ur cream too
Sean Murphy
Sean Murphy: The line here can get a bit long during peak tourist times (especially later at night), but the staff was always friendly and fast. The flavors were plentiful and served with a smile. I’ll always go with Chunky Monkey, but it’s nice to have options.
Jessica Long
Jessica Long: They provided good service at the end of the night staying open a little after closing time to provide us with ice cream! Only downer was that all the flavors listed were not available. But otherwise, we were glad to get what we could!
Response: Super! always trying to keep in everyone's favorites! We try to keep it all in stock but sometimes all the flavors are not available for us to order through B&J's
Veronica Soto
Veronica Soto: Super friendly employees! The only thing I wished for was that they had Rocky Road so I got a simple 2 scoops of chocolate and vanilla in a cone instead, and it was delicious regardless. Wait time was quick; it’s a bit pricey though which I expected because it’s located in such a nice area. There’s also a nice photo op with cow statues that you can sit on at the storefront.
Response: Way to improvise! Maybe we will work on that flavor for next year!
Maylinn On Route
Maylinn On Route: Very helpfull man behind the counter. We purchased icecream via a Groupon deal and he made sure we were served in a very neat way. Amazing icecream. We will be back!
