Larry's Homemade Ice Cream: what do users think?

Audrey Osburn: Larry’s is awesome! Wonderfully homemade ice cream without so many of the additional ingredients/preservatives/emulsifiers that big companies use. Not to mention Larry himself was there! He’s a gentleman and made my boyfriend I feel welcome and made us laugh. Great atmosphere and ice cream here.

Lloyd Spencer: My vanilla chocolate chip ice cream cone with a perfect ending to a very long day. Homemade ice cream that is very creamy and actually made by the owner.👍👍

Nate B: This place was great. The ice cream was really good. Service was fantastic. It is a little hidden gem that has been there over 30 years. I would definitely recommend this place.

Sophronia Vachon: This place truly is a hidden gem! The ice cream was delicious and not too sugary, prices were reasonable for the part of town (near Dupont Circle). But the best part is the owner Larry! He has a sarcastic sense of humor and had us laughing the entire time. I think some people mistake his humor for rudeness, but we loved it.

Eamon Kostopulos: Larry is a just man who has been put on this Earth to do one thing, serve delicious ice cream. His loving but firm attitude is purely for efficiency. If you have had a bad experience at this place it is purely because you didn’t live up to Larry’s standards. The ice cream is top notch in DC and I can easily say I will be going again.

Lacey LeCroy: Best ice cream. It has that homemade creamy flavor. The strawberry cheesecake flavor is amazing. My son says it is the best vanilla he has ever had. And Larry is a funny guy too.

Holly Gross: Just wrapping up our trip in DC and stopped by for ice cream. Excellent selection and so tasty! Larry kept us entertained too. Funny guy!

Mount Desert Island Ice Cream: what do users think?

Elizabeth Dou: The best ice cream place in the area! Super clean inside with friendly staff. Lots of fun flavors including the standard chocolate and vanilla. The ice cream was creamy and flavorful. The lemon berry poppy seed was a unique flavor that tasted amazing. There is a small outdoor seating area with a benches next door.

Bradley Farster: My daughter and I love this place! They have some very creative flavors, and their recipes have natural ingredients and flavorings. Their maple walnut is amazing, and my daughter loves the gluten-free/dairy-free blueberry basil sorbet. Be sure to check it out if you are in the area!

Jessica Long: Went there last night. We got the salted caramel, which was a little too salty. We got the coffee, which was good to me, but too bitter to my girlfriend. We got the pralines and cream, which we thought was the best. We got the pretzel and toffee, which needed more toffee to pretzel ratio and not just dark chocolate. It was weird that the single allowed for 1.5 flavors, but the double couldn’t accommodate 3 flavors with 1 full scoop and two half scoops. Hence why we got some many flavors because I had to upgrade to the triple. We got one other flavor, but unsure what it was. There is a long line at night, but they didn’t cut us off, which was nice. There’s are to sit outside the shop, which was also nice.

Alicia D: A balance between some staples and a rotation in of new flavors keep me coming back. The cones are fresh, but they may run out of the waffle cone in the evening. The first time I went, I was disappointed by the tiny scoop size, but since then, they have been more generous with the scoop. I forget to take a picture every time, but the pictures from the other reviews reflect what I have had and seen.

Amy Chiou: You can get two flavors in a single which is just so fun. I loved their buttermint which I paired with cookies and cream for a wonderful combination. My friend said her strawberry paired with lemon was fantastic. We may have gone two days in a row...

Megan Miller: Bay of Figs is my favorite ice cream flavor on the planet. I live in Colorado and I’ve tried to reproduce it at home with no luck. It’s smooth, creamy, sweet, bitter. So. Good.

J Acharya: Very fun creative flavors! Highly recommend getting the blueberry sour cream crumble!

Casa Rosada Artisan Gelato: what do users think?

Landis Rojas: If you want a delicious ice cream for dessert, this is the best place to do that! You can choose from the 29 flavors. 5 vegan flavors. With size S, M & L cups and super fast service. Your ice cream is already in 2 minutes. They can speak English and Spanish. This is a big advantage. The are selling and deliver from the window since pandemic times. I really recommend the Casa Rosada (Pink House in English)

Leanne Quinn: Absolutely fantastic ice cream! They have several excellent vegan flavors, but the best by far is their vegan pistachio. Truly my favorite spot to get ice cream near DC. Reasonable prices and very good portion sizes. There is a nice little patio behind the store to enjoy your treat in!

Leyna Holubar: A hidden gem in Old Town! They have a flavors of gelato you have probably never seen before and you can try something new every time you visit (which will be once a week if you live close by.) I love the homey, made with love vibe you get when visiting. Definitely my favorite spot to recommend to anyone asking about a dessert place.

Karoline Melo: The ice cream is delicious! I ordered the pistachio and dulce de leche and I loved it.

April C: We found this place several years ago while walking around Alexandria. 2022 and it is still there. It is no longer a store, but a to-go window (thanks covid). The owner is so sweet and the Gelato was perfect!!

Nikki Flory: Vegan choices are vanilla and chocolate. Both fabulous, but the vanilla tastes like real vanilla. I had a cup of chocolate and my son had vanilla and I tasted his and wanted both!!

Harold White: Old Town is full of ice cream/Gelato joints and this place stands head and shoulders above all. There might be flashier places around, but nobody is making flavors this rich and priced this well.

Tracy Rowe: Beautiful place to cool down and enjoy the delicious creations. Thoroughly enjoyed the mango sorbet looking forward to trying new flavors 🍦🍨!!!!

Dolcezza at the Hirshhorn: what do users think?

Marcela Zavala Guzman: I loved their Dulce de leche iced coffee. The place smells amazing and their coffee is excellent. It is a great stop if you are visiting the museum and you need a break to recharge energy.

sam camp: Really good coffee, they actually use good beans and the Barista actually knows how to make a great coffee unlike the 99.99999 percent of coffee places in the USA who have not the slightest clue.

Alex Weller: Brand new and so far so good. 2 very nice people working there and a great location in the museum lobby. 2 large shared tables inside but a also nice to sit on the grounds. Pour over is through an automatic machine that drips into a chemex. Decent system for freeing up the baristas. Menu is verbal, would be great to see a printed list. 10% discount for government employees. Punch card available for buy 10 get one free.

Eye Eye: Nice spot in the museum. Coffee is good enough. Only issue I have is that there is no real seating for the cafe. It is in the lobby which can be quite busy and shares limited seating with that. Was meeting a friend to talk but was not possible. There is plenty of space for more tables. They can even use artistic ones...

Hilda Kroll: Expensive, but conveniently located in the lobby of the Hirshhorn.

John Strong: Had an amazing Dulce de Leche latte on ice (light on syrup, almond milk). Very friendly guys who were patient with me as I took forever to make a decision. Awesome space with glass tables over wood. Peaceful.

Lisa Goren: The coffee was delicious. Had a deep, rich flavor and was topped off with a swirl of foam.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams: what do users think?

Amanda (WhatsDaHype): I was pleasantly surprised when I found out Jeni’s was in walking distance after eating an early dinner in DC. The ice cream didn’t disappoint on the two visits to this location. Except for their non-dairy options and their version of cookies and cream. The non-dairy options are coconut base so the flavors advertised didn’t match the name. I tried banana pudding but it tasted like coconut ice cream. And the young lady serving me did give that disclaimer. Their cookies and cream version was not sweet at all. They use to offer samples but that’s on hold due to Covid. Their sugar cones aren’t as sweet as I prefer. They have a great crunch and a hint of salt.

Samuel M. Worthington IV: We’ve been big fans of all good ice cream and Jeni’s is certainly one of them. Almost all of their flavors are well thought out and made well ( some more than others) and the waffle cones are great. The only reason they get 4 stars is the scoops are ridiculously small, especially for the price that you’re paying. It seems that they’re getting smaller since we’ve been going here, too

Muniba Khan: I got a single-sized waffle bowl with the salted peanut with chocolate flecks and the everything bagel seasonal flavors. Everything bagel ice cream has no business being so delicious. I really appreciate that they have some good salty flavors.

anu yadav: Sad they were out of the pints of caramel pecan sticky bun dairy free ice cream. It is decadent. I went in. This Jeni’s has a line around the building on Saturday nights. Like a club. I think I understand why.

Autumn Boyd: We got the ice cream sampler. Best ice cream I’ve ever tasted! Flavors were all so vibrant and unique.

Amber Worthington: Best ice cream I’ve ever had. The sweet biscuits & peach jam was phenomenal & their waffle cone take it over the finish line 🏆

R Lin: Respect to Jeni’s- they really do have splendid ice cream! I’d heard of this places a few times before so it was nice to finally try it. I love that their flavor combinations are pretty nontraditional from what you see at your run of the mill ice cream shop. And they back it up with the product actually being really yummy! My specific visit to this location was a tiny bit disappointing as I asked for several different flavors that they were out of or couldn’t serve for some reason. It was quite odd. But the workers were very nice, and along with the good ice cream I did eventually get it really mostly made up for it. Who doesn’t always want some delicious ice cream at any time of day, week or circumstance?? (if your answer is anything except “um yes always!” please keep scrolling and don’t talk to me lol)

Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee: what do users think?

Mischa: Very good, classy, and modern place. This place is definitely worth a visit or more. I have been here quite a few times myself and had their chai latte, hot chocolate, and cappuccino. They are all great! I also tried their affogato, but at a different location, which was also great! This place is in a great location as well.

Riley Hoagland: What an amazing place to experience super flavorful sorbetto! I chose the pineapple honey lime and champagne mango. It was not too sweet and really felt like the best blended and freshest versions of the fruit!

arun varughese: Excellent coffee and gelato. Tried a bunch of flavors by tasting and finally bought the lemon cardamom and pistachio. Both were excellent. Lemon cardamom: Very slight cardamom flavor and a weak lemon profile. Pistachio: Strong pistachio flavor and I loved it. Sorbet: tasted a bunch of them and did not feel as good as the gelato. Hazelnut latte: Nice hazelnut flavor.

Wei Hsu: The gelato is the best! They provide many different and unique flavors for you. You can have a cone for free!

Claire Mizutani: Got some dessert here with my dad the other night. I was surprised but pleased that a small can be two flavors. My dad got Clementine and Pineapple honey lime. He said he enjoyed both but the pineapple flavor was a bit weak. I order Hojicha and Marscapone and berries. The Green tea flavor was incredible and not too sweet or bitter. We got a to go cup for my mom but I didn’t hear her opinion on the flavors. They have a sign that shows where they are sourcing their ingredients that I thought was nice. I wish there was some outdoor seating but I can understand if their location doesn’t permit them to offer that.

A S: Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee is a great place for a sweet creamy treat and an espresso. The mascarpone gelato was my favorite. It was very creamy and rich. All the other flavors are fantastic as well.

Andrew Windheim: Late afternoon visit this past Saturday. Had the dark chocolate and Vietnamese cinnamon gelato and a americano. Gelato was great, the combo of flavors was interesting. Im not a fan of americano coffee but the regular was out. That said coffee had really nice flavor and smooth finish. Place was very busy. Location is great, right , one block from National Gallery and Capital One Arena and on the edge of high end shopping mall. Particularly nice spot this time of year with Christmas decorations up.

George Basily: Best Gelato I had in town by far! One of the few times where we all regretted nit getting a large cup instead of small. The store was clean and the employees were really helpful and efficient. All the flavors we tried were so good and we truly enjoyed them. Prices were very reasonable to the quality and quantity. Would definitely be stopping by again.

Happy Ice Cream Cart: what do users think?

Joe Kim: we got these for take out and was awesome !!! most of what we got were adult flavors but our kids enjoyed them as well

Katherine Marie Kulik: Fabulous ice cream. Honestly one of the top pints in my life, especially the pretzel, coffee, and oatmeal flavors.

Jeyashri Sridhar: Okay so first things first, know that I take ice cream seriously. I’ve tried a lot of ice cream in my life and a lot of boutique ice cream. Yes, price-wise, $15 a pint is definitely above average even for boutique brands but for Happy Ice Cream?? Dare I say, worth every penny. This is phenomenally good ice cream, probably top 5 I have ever had. I can’t wait to try more flavors but both the blood orange (perfect tart flavor, soooo creamy with a hint of olive oil that feels like it just belongs in there) and the oatmeal cookie (for the texture lovers, they do NOT skimp on the cookie and the chocolate) were magic and you can tell they’re using high quality ingredients and putting a lot of care into their product. Run, don’t walk here!!! No scoops right now, pints only till warmer weather.

Josh Roe: THE BEST ICE CREAM IN DC!!! Absolutely friendly service, fantastic flavors (key lime and olive oil standouts) just a treasure.

Emy Dillon: Unique flavors & combinations friendly staff make for a great experience. Their waffle cones are as good as the ice cream.

Yulia Chentsova: Delicious ice cream, I especially liked the uniqueness of some of their flavors. For example they had a chocolate ice cream with olive oil and sea salt that was delicous. The people selling were friendly and wore masks so it was COVID safe. Composed by my 10 year old. Awwww it was in fact delicious

Ice Cream Jubilee: what do users think?

Vikram Seshadri: Interesting flavors I have never had before. Some of the flavors I tried were too strong for an ice-cream (Smoked ones..). Definitely had some interesting flavors that you gotta try.

chandrima deuri: Loved this place that I accidently discovered on our visit. I tried two of the flavors from their special cherry blossom festival menu and loved them both. The smoked vanilla cherry sakura had a strong smoked flavor which was a unique experience for me since I have never tasted smoked flavor ice cream before. The orange blossom tea cake

Nik Rama: WOW. Incredible ice cream flavors all around. They had so many wild flavors that all sounded delicious! We were able to sample a few and then order a giant 2-scoop cup at a very reasonable price. I got the passionfruit and guava sorbet as well as the cookies & cookie dough ice cream. The passionfruit and guava sorbet was incredible. Tart, sweet, fruity, and silky smooth as a sorbet. It was incredible, and those two fruits pair really well! It was so refreshing on a hot day. The cookies & cookie dough was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. I expected a decent and familiar ice cream, but this was another level. The pieces of Oreo’s were big and chunk and a little soft to allow for a more pleasant and homogeneous bite. The cookie dough was also chunk and such a high quality cookie dough. Overall this is an incredible ice cream spot if you’re looking for a non-chain location that serves high quality and unique ice cream.

A: Best ice cream in DC hands down!! The banana bourbon caramel flavor is to die for!! I buy the pint sometimes. Always delicious 👍

Michael Ciurea: The Thai tea ice cream flavor is on my top three best ice cream flavors ever. It legit tastes like a good cup of Thai tea. They also have great seasonal and occasional flavors that you should check out. This place has won many local and regional awards for their ice cream, and they’re all well earned. Great service and wonderful ice cream.

Danny Kim: Ice Cream Jubilee is a nice small ice cream shop with plenty of delicious flavors to choose! I went with the chocolate waffle cone with 3 flavors of ice cream, Thai Iced Tea, Marionberry, and Honey Lemon Lavender. The good: Each ice cream flavor was exceptionally delicious! The taste was sweet and the flavor was strong so you can actually taste the flavor ordered! My favorite is probably the Thai Iced Tea, so I will be happy to return to order more of this! Overall, definitely will be making a return trip! Love the flavors, and want to try them all.

Dolcezza Gelato and Coffee: what do users think?

Emma Jeanie Beanie: The staff are very friendly and helpful in making a decision between all the delicious flavors. I got hazelnut crackle and Swiss chocolate, and enjoyed both immensely. Also, their chai latte is one of the best I’ve ever had! Even though it’s a small shop, there are a few cute places to sit and the atmosphere is very cozy. Will definitely return on our next dc visit!

Sassy Sauce: Nice place but the parking in this area is bad. There is a farmers market every weekend between the metro and this store. A lot of people are in the area to have lunch and shop and it’s difficult to find parking. Also, the gelato is good. There are a few different ones in the city and all of the locations are consistently good. The normal flavors you would expect. Sometimes during the cherry blossom festival there is a special flavor offered. When we went, there a small line but it moved quickly. The flavors are great and the texture is smooth. Always satisfied with my choice.

Arash Tavakoli: We ordered Latte and hot chocolate. Very nice place, welcoming barista, and much less sugar in their drinks which I absolutely loved!

Victoria Quiroga: Nice! The matcha latte was great. No vegan /dairy free sweets though :(

Iris Tan: Recommended by a friend and when we came here we realized that we have been purchased this brand for a long time .. great to get a chance to eat gelato out of fresh lol

sia shetkar: The berries and marscapone gelato makes me wish I lived in DC. Such a cute little shop, and the staff were so nice when I was deciding on flavors. Would recommend!

Timothy Chambers: The gelato was AMAZING- the best I’ve had anywhere. So tasty, smooth, and a terrific span of flavors. The dark chocolate was rich. Loved the Dulce de Leche- my new fave. We enjoyed the service with a smile, the charming atmosphere, and my wife’s cappuccino was really good, too. We’ll be back. :)

Miguel Curiel: Best gelato I’ve tasted in DC thus far. Plus, it is in a vibrant and youthful area so you can easily pass by after eating in any of the multiples nearby restaurants.

Candace M.: Great ice cream. I just wish they had more flavors. But ok prices and good flavor.

Kyle Getson: Great service. Good ice cream and milkshakes. No place to sit but standing tables outside that keep you out of the sun

David Mcpherson: Really good icecream. Well priced, small but nice store

Calib Hernandez: ICE SCREAMING ... its just ice cream the decor seems "presidential" but its just another icecream shop moose tracks is the flavor im holding

Steven Garcia: Great ice cream, friendly service! Cute tumblers. Definitely would come here again.

Tracy Perry: Great ice cream. The service had NO personality but he was not rude. Just boring.

The Creamery at Union Market: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: This creamery is very simple but full with flavor. Today I tried the pistachio, a friend tried the lemon blueberry and another had the chocolate. All 3 were good and rich with flavor. The lemon blueberry had a very strong lemon taste that I loved. The blueberry was subtle. The chocolate chip cookies were just ok. Definitely not my favorite. But they were soft and fresh. I prefer a denser cookie and a little more butter. This cookie was light with large chocolate chunks. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Leslie Williston: this ice cream was wonderful! so creamy and the waffle cones were lovely. even got to recommend to people

J Acharya: Perfect pistachio ice cream. You can taste that the ingredients are high quality.

Omar “Cali” James: ** Hands in Late Pass for the review🙃 ** 📄 Theres a great Ice Cream selection and the cookies are super soft. This is a really simple review. Cant go wrong with some really good creamy ice cream and their cookies.

isabel coss: Best ice cream in DC, classic flavors done well. Also you can buy delicious well sourced cheese and dairy.

Wood Glue: Only 4 stars for discussing hard that vegan dairy- and honey-free ice cream remains vegan even when placed right next to non-vegan ice cream *4-finger-facepalm*

Thought Trafficker: I absolutely love this spot! I have enjoyed samples of all ice cream flavors, and highly recommend the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, the Pumpkin Pecan Crumble, and the Vanilla Bean… although this one time they made ice cream out of their scrumptious Snickerdoodle cookies, and that was the best! Not only is the product offering completely delicious in its’ entirety… but the exceptional customer service just keeps bringing me back for more! My upbringing included the following mantra: “You scream, I scream, We all scream for ice cream!” (Never has it applied more than at The Creamery, where they’ve even perfected the Urban Campfire experience for you, your family and your friends!)

Danny Dang: Friendly and courteous staff. The ice cream here is full of flavor and thick. Do not have to worry about rushing to eat or carry out before it starts melting like other ice creams.

Jolene Hostetler: My daughter and I just visited the creamery at Union Market today. She faces dairy intolerance so the oat milk options they serve is such a TREAT! The Coffee Chip is her favorite!

Kilwins Chocolate & Ice Cream: what do users think?

KhanSerai: Good ice cream - well flavored so you could enjoy what you were eating - coconut had plenty of roasted coconut in it, pistachio was chock full of nuts. Very friendly service.

Njeri Jarvis: Absolute BEST caramel apples with peanuts!!! This is the best dessert ever. I am biased because this my favorite dessert. But, as a result, I know good ones when I taste them. The apples are always crisp with the perfect amount of sour. This is VERY important. Theirs is always right. I could eat them daily!!!! Yum!!!

abrar saeed: The best ice cream shop and the waffle is fresh they made it in the store also the ice cream it was so good 👍🏻

Michael Bean: Good selection and delicious sweets. We walked in and they were handmaking waffle cones and it smelled amazing. It was a super pricey for what we got. Mine was $8 for a root beer float (a can of A&W root beer and a scoop of ice cream) but it was still very tasty.

Fa Duenjuta S.: If you are an icecream lover give them a try. I love their icecream texture and perfect level of sweetness for me.

Catherine N: We were very excited to see this location open. We loved going to the ones in St Augustine, FL and this one held up to expectations. The staff was nice and helpful with ice cream selection. The store was clean and smelled amazing (waffle cones and fudge). Will be making regular visits!

Altani Gelato & Coffee: what do users think?

Johnika Dreher: In the mood for ice cream after walking along the marina. We stumbled upon the closest spot but their line was out of the door. We looked via Google Maps for another dessert spot and was directed here. What a fantastic find. The gelato is amazing delicious. I enjoyed my Oreo flavor. My friend got a double flavor and enjoyed hers. We plan to bring our kids back to enjoy the water fountains one evening and try the pizza too. This is definitely a cool place to venture. I believe DC offers free parking on Sunday’s. Parking was pretty plentiful on this Sunday evening. The bathrooms leave everything to be desired - no tissue, just a whole mess for the women’s anyway. But I can’t fault the Gelato venue for this as they share a space with the Pizza vendor and the Sushi vendor. There is ample seating outside and a lovely rooftop space for pictures. The Navy Yard marina is just three blocks away. I hope you find this review helpful. If so, please give me a thumbs up. Thank you.

Kelly M.: I really enjoy this gelato shop and my favorite flavors are the lemon and cheesecake, though they offer such a great and delicious variety! The only thing I’ll say though is that it seems they’re keeping the gelato at too cold of a temperature. Gelato is supposed to be a bit softer and creamy but you can tell just by watching the server scoop your gelato that it is way, way too hard. I don’t remember this being an issue when I first went here several months ago but I’ve noticed it over the past couple visits. Hasn’t kept me from returning though….

Robert Cardoni: Delicious gelato ... a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Nice way to cap off a slice or 2 from the adjacent pizza place - Wise Guys The staff is super awesome. Very friendly and accommodating. Portions are generous and there’s tons of flavors. Love this place!!

Elsa Alvarado: Had no idea this was part of the sushi place; their gelato is so fresh and delicious. Loved the red velvet, Oreo, and strawberry flavors.

Dondré: The display of ice-cream inside was very reminiscent of Italy. The staff and service was great, very nice and patient. This ice cream shop is in a great location to be able to get the ice cream and walk through canal park or sit on all the benches in front of the water fountain.

Annette Antonelli: Flavor. Flaaaavor. We loved it; good vibe and service too. Try the Reese’s, dark chocolate, and Oreo chocolate.

Dolci Gelati: what do users think?

A.J. Carlson: Fantastic gelato, especially the sorbet. Had a mind-opening, out-of-body experience with the passion fruit sorbet. Highly recommend.

Heidi Liou: The lady working was so kind and let me sample a lot of flavors! I ended up going with one scoop fig marscapone and another scoop of birthday cake. Loved the vibe of the store even, but you have to get lucky to snag the indoor seating (fits 2 people). They did bring out outdoor seating as well (two tables, two chairs for each table).

Saint Eloise: I have been here before. Today I got the blueberry mint, almond coconut, and strawberry something. It was great per usual.

Adesh Saxena: Great locally crafted Gelato to Die for. Not to be missed if you are in the area. Croissants are baked fresh. Now they also sell dry pasta, olive oils and balsamic 00 pizza flour Imported from Italy..

Christina Redden: The dark chocolate was hella dark and delicious! I also had the honey/marscapone/fig and it was unique and amazingly good too! The staff was happy, helpful, and patient as we made the incredibly difficult choice between flavors. They also had these adorable mini-cones and frozen dog treats!!!

Raymond Jordan: We visited Dolci Gelati at DC Zoo in early April. The ice cream topped funnel cakes were a must have for us adults as the zoo was closing. The baby girl wanted the Italian Ice. Great way to end our day trip ! Thank You

Yer Yang: Great flavors and variety. The espresso was potent, which I loved! The chocolate was rich and creamy. The white chocolate raspberry was delicious too. We got the macaroons and the lemon was not fresh. Unlike the other two, it was very chewy and tough. For that reason, I rate this place a 4-star.

Moorenko's: what do users think?

Nik Jones: I walked in and had no idea what to expect... When I tell you this ice cream was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and the mint chocolate chip was NOT green, which let me know this shop is not about the artificial flavors and colors and I can appreciate that. Definitely recommend

Nadia Spigner: Super interesting flavors like honey lavender and ginger ice cream!!! I ended up getting the peppermint ice cream and it was so good!!! 10/10

Kayci Dorfmann: 9/13/21 Hi everyone, I’m the manager for the shop! Our shop hours have changed, we moved into our fall/winter hours! Sunday-Thursday 12:00pm-8:00pm Friday-Saturday 12:00pm-9:00pm Google won’t let us change our hours of business at the moment. :( we truly apologize for any inconveniences this may cause! We appreciate your support! Please make sure to follow our IG! @moorenkos_capitolhill we post shop updates!!

Reverend Richard Stoneking: Good ice cream, friendly gal running it, cones are perfection. Honestly not much to report. Clean and was actually being cleaned when we arrived, interrupting the process.

Ice Cream Jubilee: what do users think?

Gaby Taccir: A delightful shop with interesting and enticing flavors! I opted for the apple butter oatmeal cookie which had true apple butter flavor, not overtly sweet, and the oatmeal cookie pieces gave it texture it needed. Plus having a small portion size available that wasn’t just for kids is awesome for those, like myself, just wanting a small sweet treat. Hope to visit again and try more flavors!

Robert Harley: Delicious ice cream in very unique flavors!! You can not go wrong with the cookies either!!

William Shanklin: LOVE some good ice cream! This spot is great! They’ve got your classics and some new innovative tuff going on, too! Tried the smoked vanilla and Caramel Banana Bourbon (I might be getting that name wrong!) Ice cream was delicious! Only thing is, my cone was soft and not the typical “crunch” you typically get from a waffle cone. The cone was chewy.

Carter's Reviews CCMG: First time ever eating this ice cream. I saw slot of people eating the ice cream so we stopped after lunch. I tried the Marion Berry ice cream with a small regular cone . It was definitely a treat

L. Lola Arnold: Wow this hidden gem is like no other, the flavors of the ice cream are out of this world, creamy, yet makes you feel like I can eat this without a care in the world. Typically dairy and me are not friends but not once did my stomach disagree with my cookies and cookie dough flavor. So much so, I ate a half and realized it and said, to myself, I wonder who at my ice cream…😂😅. Treat yourself for sure!

Tanya Thompson: It’s our local fav ice cream shoppe. Many unique flavors with dc inspired names. My personal favorite is a warm choco chip cookie with choco choco ice cream and hot fudge, caramel and whipped cream on top. 🍦🤤 Get a sundae here and enjoy walking the riverfront!

Lauren Sweet: We were able to walk right up. I got two scoops Cream and Honey, and Strawberry Tres Leche in a waffle bowl drizzled with caramel sauce. It was soooo good!! Customer service was great, and she made she other customers trying to enter were wearing their mask.

Ishmael Kamara: One of my favorite ice cream spots. Good service and great flavors.

Häagen-Dazs® Ice Cream Shop: what do users think?

lorena S: Haagen-Dazs brings me good memories from old days. I’ve been to different locations in Nevada, California, Florida, DC, Texas. I’ve loved their ice cream since I was a teen and would go to the mall and could only afford to buy an ice cream and people watch but this place is always consistently great. I always get the dulce de leche Sunday, it’s the perfect mix of dulce de leche ice cream with bananas more ice cream, whipped cream and more dulce de leche drizzled all over. It’s almost perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner or sure a snack would work too. The place was spotless clean and the area is a nice area were you can walk alone and feel safe and find parking near by. We went close to closing time and the customers continued to come but they continued to serve them and greet them, unlike other ice cream places that don’t want to serve you(we came from another shop were they sent us away due to them not wanting to work because it was 15 mins before closing). I will continue to come to Haagen-Dazs and to this specific location whenever I’m in the area.

Brahim AHMED: They have lots of choices and flavors!Clean place and staff are friendly. The only issue is parking lots!

Mohammad Umair: We already know the ice cream was great! Even though the store was packed, the staff was amazing. They were patient with each individual, polite and were quick.

Andrea Dietrich: My birthday ice cream cake was delicious! Thank you HD GW for making me feel special!Giving 4 stars due to the navigation challenges my husband encountered when picking up the cake.

Chanpen Tee: The staff is friendly. The store is nice and clean. The icecream is delicious

WNFB: Ice cream is delicious, but small place to hangout .
