Chicken + Whiskey: what do users think?

Madhusha Sarathchandra: Not worth the money you spend.... First time I have been here. First of all, menu was a little confusing. Took us a few mins to figure it out. Then they got my order wrong. Asked for a wrap and they made a wrap but nit the one I asked for and didnt notice it untill I pay for it. I have tried a lot of pollo chicken places around and I cant rank the food taste in the top when compare it with other Pollo resturants. Thats why I said this place is not worth the money. Then the sides. Got the Yuca as side and they served 5 pieces(counted) of yuca for $4. Whiskey and beer including cocktails is a nice touch. I wonder how they have this kmuch higher ratings. Surprising.... 2 stars for the cleanliness and quick service. Would not visit again and not recommending....
Response: Thanks for the review Madhusha. Please reach out to a manager at the store and we will try to rectify your bad experience with us!

Marcus R.: This spot surprised me. I was walking by, and happened to see this out of the corner of my eye. My left-eye--R.I.P. As an out of towner, it was worth a visit. The food was good. Better than most spots that serve Spanish-style food, as this location put the effort in both presentation AND taste.
Response: Thank you so much for the review Marcus!

Victor: I ordered the quarter chicken meal which comes with two sides. I came for lunch take out, it was pretty quiet here. The chicken was not warm and the rice was not as moist. I did like the seasonings on the rice and yuca. The sauce here is a 5/5. The sauce is what got me through this meal.
Response: Sorry to hear about your experience Victor! Please call the store and ask to speak to a manager. We will be happy to give you another meal.

Lucy Ruderman: Really tasty chicken, sides, and sauces. Everything we tried was delicious and I feel like you can’t go wrong. Two of us shared a half chicken (comes with two sides) plus a third side and felt like that was enough.
Response: Thanks for the review Lucy !!

Amy Chai: We went on a Thursday happy hour and it was very very dead, just us and another couple, but i liked a calmer vibe. the bar is located at the back of the chicken restaurant (thru a walk in freezer door) which has amazing food. the bar itself is pretty small but the decorations and lights are so cute.
Response: We appreciate the review Amy!

David Login: Overall GOOD experience and great drinks. Environment in the back has cool mood lighting and mixed drinks are legit. Good social mix of girls and guys. Bartenders were fun and approachable. Only four out of five stars because it gets easily hot and crowded.
Response: Thanks David!

A Sullivan: Was excited to try this spot and read good reviews. I ate 2 forkfuls of the chicken and I was done. It wasn’t hot or flavorful. The black beans and rice tasted old. It just didn’t meet my expectations at all, very disappointed. I won’t be going back or recommending.
Response: Amelia, thank you for feedback. Our apologies for your bad experience. Please give the store a call and speak to a manager we want to make this right.

Jaymee McGraw: The food is delicious! The chicken is moist tender and flavorful. The soupa was just the right amount of spicy and had amazing flavors. I love cilantro and if I was a local I would be a regular at this restaurant.
Response: Thank you Jaymee!

Pollo Campero: what do users think?

Jason Ramirez: The food was delicious and the workers were very friendly. Only complaint are the long lines but with food this good, I can understand.
Response: Jason Sounds like we delivered a flavorful experience and your chicken was perfecto! We appreciate the positive review! ¡Gracias!

Yvette Player: Chicken was very good, tasty , juicy and not greasy. Cole slaw ?? celery and cabbage ?really 🙄
Response: Hi Yvette, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate knowing things you love about Pollo Campero and where you've noticed we have some room for improvement. Please feel free to reach out to us with any concerns you may have at customerexperienceus@campero.com.

Leslie Garcia: I always loved pollo campero but this time it disappointing. The place was disorganized, NOT CLEAN, and very cold. I hope there is improvement with quality of food and the service overall.
Response: We would like to do our best to fix your experience. If you wouldn’t mind, please share your comments plus any order information (order or confirmation number or a picture of your receipt) at customerexperienceus@campero.com so that we can address this with the appropriate team. Thank you so much.

David Melgar Coronado: Dirty tables and floors as usually for most of these restaurants. Place is empty and yet not clean
Response: David We would like to do our best to fix this. If you wouldn’t mind, please send an email to social-us@campero.com with details about your visit so that we can address your experience with the team. Thank you so much.

Ana Guevara: This is one of my favorite chicken spots. The prices are incredibly cheap considering surrounding restaurants. The food is usually great. Only issue I have had is online ordering where mistakes have been made and their is no clear way of getting a refund on missed items or general issues with orders. When I made a complaint out of frustration with the issues I was reached out by the manager of the restaurant. I was taken back as usually businesses never reach out that quick. Her main purpose of the call was to fix the issue and I was very pleased that my issue mattered as well as the quality of their service. Will continue to support this spot!!
Response: Ana Sounds like we delivered a flavorful experience and your chicken was perfecto! We appreciate the positive review! ¡Gracias!

Kendra Jones: Very good and excellent the flavor wonderfull
Response: Kendra Thank you! We appreciate the 5 stars and we'll see you again soon for another flavorful meal!

Emely Rivas: Chicken was really great and French fries and coleslaw. How ever, I put 3 starts because the service is terrible, this is my 3 time I go and Even though the previous time I have order online still is a long wait for chicken. Today I waited 30 minutes just for a 2 piece meal white meat. You guys need to step it up.
Response: Emely It sounds like we have some things we need to work on and appreciate you sharing the good and the bad. We will share this with the Washington DC team so that next time you have a 5-star visit!

M jafar: Good quality chicken friendly staff
Response: M thank you for the 4-star review and for giving us the opportunity to serve you our delicious chicken. Your satisfaction with our service is our priority and we can’t wait to do it again!

Oohh's & Aahh's: what do users think?

Sheila Peavy: My husband and I spent this past weekend in Washington DC and enjoyed brunch at Oohh’s & Aahh’s Soul Food restaurant on Georgia Ave. The food was delicious. Everything was nicely seasoned, the fried catfish, collard green, cornbread, mac-n-cheese and the catfish and grits plate, were all cooked to our liking. And if you have room for dessert, try the banana pudding…delish. We shared our meals in a comfortable atmosphere, all of the employees were very pleasant. Thanks to the GM, Mark, who took the time to sit with us (at our request) to have a conversation about the restaurant. Most thankful to our waiter, Mike, who was attentive to our desires. It was just a delightful experience. We would definitely recommend Oohh’s & Aahh’s Soul Food restaurant. Delicious

Darnhelle Saint Eloi: First thing I ate while in DC and now I don’t wanna eat anything else! I got turkey wings smothered and peppered, mac and cheese, yams, greens, and a side of catfish everything was delicious! Mr John was super welcoming and helpful and I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu

Skye Williams: I don’t typically leave reviews, but after my experience at this restaurant, I felt like I had to ! I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times in the last week & have received incredible service each time. I’m not from DC, and every other restaurant I’ve been to since I’ve been here has been very slack on service but not this one . Mark was very friendly and helped me choose the best menu item . He even gave me suggestions to places I should visit while I’m here . The service was on point and I’m so glad I decided to come here! Oh and not to mention how incredible and aesthetically pleasing the food was !!!!!

Ibriy Yisrael: The excellent food was only matched by the excellent service! Our waiter Mike was on top of our every need and the management were extremely welcoming and inviting…. It was a pleasant soul food experience in the heart the city…. My wife and I both had the fried chicken which was seasoned to perfection while my sister-in-law had the fried catfished which was golden! The sides of yams, collards, and green beans (snaps) added to our oohhs & aahhs…. It was the perfect way to end the evening and I will definitely be back the next time I visit DC!!!

angela mcroberts: The food was absolutely amazing. I had dinner which consisted of fried turkey chops and let me just say.. the chef needs to be slapped on how good that food was . Put some Respect on his name! I’ll definitely be coming back with my girls for some drinks and food! Mark the operational manager was AWESOME. He was respectful and was on his P’s and Q’s when it came to checking on our service. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Stacie: Great food on historical U Street. Lots of options, pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. We had, chicken, fish, beef ribs w/gravy, greens, mac&cheese, and peach cobbler.

SR White: I had the catfish and shrimp with side of fries. It was delicious. Had not had a good catfish in a very long time. Plenty of food enough for leftovers. They were very quick with getting the order ready it said 30 to 35 minutes it only actually took about 10 minutes from ordering online. Went to the location that was carry out only

Joshua Shores: Great Service & Excellent Food!! Worth a stop if you are around the D.C. area, so don’t hesitate if you are looking for a good meal! The deserts are also to die for.

Hitching Post Restaurant: what do users think?

C.R. Banks: Nice little cozy spot. Wait staff/mgr are very friendly. Ribs were delicious "fall off the bone".The calamari tasty and crunchy, not rubbery. Crabcakes were ok...l like more "lump".

Tanya Lowe: They food is amazing I came here when I was pregnant with my baby I couldn’t wait to come back and now I’m in heaven! Great customer service and wonderful host. BTW they fried chicken wings are the Bomb!!!

Hypnotik Vanity: NOT BLACK OWNED!!!!! Very quaint and welcoming home that was converted to a restaurant. Indoor and outdoor setting makes it a plus. Location seems to be hidden by some trees and it was passed up several times. Very little parking. Food truly is less than delicious or even good at best. From kitchen to table time was not long, food just lacked flavor. The customer service is superb! Server SAUVE was extremely pleasant and informative with the menu options. Best part of this visit was the customer service and over all atmosphere.
Response: I am sorry your experience wasn’t the best, We understand regional food had many variants and what for many our food is the best in miles for others like you is not. If you have the opportunity to come again please express your concerns while you are here, that way we can save you time and money. Thank you. your comment is baseless.

Brendan Hogan: First time dining here but won’t be the last. Catfish and fried chicken were incredible. Potato salad and collared greens were fantastic, too. Only place I’ve ever seen have a weekend happy hour. Chandler was a great waiter!

Elizabeth Chu: The customer service is EXCELLENT. I mistakenly did pick up instead of delivery and didn’t have a way of getting my food but one of their servers, Antoine, was GENEROUS AND GRACIOUS enough to deliver my food after he had completed his shift. I am so grateful for this amazing customer service. I cannot praise him or this restaurant enough. This was so kind. And of course the food is very good. Thank you thank you!!!!

Linda Lewis: Been coming here for about a year now and I can say I have never had a bad experience the food is excellent I highly recommend the brunch and definitely the fried chicken meal you won’t be disappointed

Nour Nadri: Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally visited last night. Truly amazing food, beautiful patio, and friendly staff. Got the fried chicken sandwich and it was out of this world. Will most definitely be returning and trying other menu items.

Brian Johnson: The food is always great! I’ve tried several dishes and have not been disappointed. This is my go-to spot when I’m craving a home cooked meal! My favorite is the Wing dinner with potato salad and cabbage!

Karen Turnage: Difficult to review restaurants when they make a sincere effort and do not quite measure up to one’s expectations. Pros: Order was correct Seasoning on chicken good Cornbread good Decent portion size Cons: Side items needed A LOT more seasoning (cabbage, greens and Mac n’ cheese) Expensive Disappointed with taste of crab cake

Honeymoon Chicken: what do users think?

999 Mainey: Greetings, the chicken here was great !!! I went here for a date and got the salad 🥗 which was good but the chicken was even better’! You didn’t really need no sauce while eating it, which was the best part. The drinks are perfect and two will get you right ! I would definitely recommend you check them out especially before they change the restaurant to something else !

W. Nikki Pearson: Sat at the counter so the service was quick. I had the spicy chicken breast sandwich with cheese, pickle, cheese and coleslaw. It was just cooked, huge, but so tender and juicy. The strawberry pineapple lemonade just needed a splash of lime. But really good. Service is as good.

Connor MacKenzie: Amazing fried chicken, the “honey dust” is a delicious addition and fun twist. Went with the fried chicken platter with sprouts and honey rolls - tons of food for a very reasonable price. Definitely going back soon to try out the sandwich as it looked incredible. Highly recommend and a great new spot for Petworth.

Yessenia C: Very good chicken!!! Their honey mustard is one of the best I have every tried. The second time I went back for chicken it was even better. The honey on top of their bread roll is amazing.

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: Now I didn’t plan, research, or study this spot at all!! Their website was sent to me, I looked at it, found the address, and dipped!! I sure am glad I did!! Little Chicken: what do users think?

Zeyu Hu: Amazing fried chicken place in downtown DC! This place has crispy and juicy chicken that will satisfy your fried chicken craving for sure. We ordered the chicken bucket (8 pieces) for the 3 of us with a side of waffle fries. Let me tell you, the chicken was so juicy that in the first bite I had, the juices were just flowing. We ordered the spicy chicken which came with a BEAUTIFUL spice mix that perfectly complimented the well-seasoned fry batter. The awesome server gave us a variety of sauces ranging from honey mustard, to pesto, to white Alabama bbq. We were happy to just eat the chicken as was but the sauces were delicious and gave different flavor combinations to enjoy. Although we didn’t try the cocktails, they looked awesome, and we instead chose one of the many local beers on the menu. They have great outdoor space with an outdoor bar and shuffleboard game. Highly recommend this new fried chicken spot!!
Response: Thanks for the kind review!!

Jake Tan: This place is a gem. Period. The chicken is perfectly cooked and is so flavorful. There are plenty of delicious chicken sandwiches out there but Little Chicken has flavors and combinations that put all those other sandwiches to shame. The sauces are all made in house and are all fantastic 🔥. My wife got their cobb salad and she said it was one of the best salads 🥗 she ever had - I concur. No skimping on any of the veggies/ingredients and two perfectly cooked pieces of chicken to boot. Great vibe, great staff and especially their Director of Ops, Said. He told us to mix the Goddess and Sorghum Mustard sauces - just wow! Fresh, “herbal bomb” 🌿 mixed with a tangy mustard…. Just stop. All the staff were so kind/fantastic but Said was a step above. Desserts you ask? Well some crazy genius decided to blend a delicious creamy custard with a fresh baked piece of apple pie 🥧 and call it a “pyclone.” My family split this decadent explosion of cinnamon and spice and it was the perfect cap to a flavor-packed meal. Great outdoors area, stellar mural art inside. Convenient to-go ordering system. You can’t go wrong when you arrive. I want to go back! I will go back.

Yicela Alvarado: Place is a vibe, the little chicken sandwich is good. The salt rim on the margarita is fire!!!! I am happy to support a small business. The only thing I found confusing were the QR codes on the outside tables, when trying to order through your phone it didn’t let you so I had to go inside and place the order. No big deal, just something to fix.

Julie Johnston: HOLY MOLY WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!!! Little Chicken is the whole package. Great food, great drinks, great staff and a beyond fun vibe. Just in time for summer! We came on a lazy Sunday for lunch and could have stayed all day. We tried everything as you can see, because everything sounded so good. We are big foodies and loved the owners chose to give a nod to all traditional southern favorites with a gourmet twist. The Little Chicken Sandwich is classically perfect, and the Spicy Wendy puts Hattie B to shame. The Jalapeño popper dip and the broccoli salad was a great surprise for sure. Do not pass on the corn fritters or the fried chicken lettuce cups. It’s worth ordering all the dipping sauces and a side of tendies to dimple in them! Our biggest surprise and the perfect ending to the day was the absolutely to die for Black raspberry and vanilla frozen custard!!! OMG send me home with a pint right now. All in all Little Chicken is the place for your summer or fun. Bring a group, stay for hours! I can’t wait to come back. Thanks!!!

Gabriel Sheehan: Very yummy crispy chicken. Fast service, good place nice atmosphere.

Michael Barboza: Fun environment. Great team. Bit pricey. Canned beer, no draft. The Little Chicken (sandwich) is delicious. The tendies were mostly batter, or perhaps just too greasy. The broccoli salad is a must!
Response: How was the food?

C F: Great fried chicken, dessert and drinks. We tried the frozen Pineapple Daiquiri and Orange Crush- both delicious! Got an order of fried chicken, mac-and-cheese, broccoli salad and chicken tenders spicy. Fried chicken was the best! Would definately order that again. Tenders needed to be a bit more meaty but good with the spicy flavor. Sauces could use a bit more kick to stand out. Need to give more sauce to dunk the chicken into and would be great if you added a buffalo type sauce and a sweet heat flavor offering. We did not get any sandwiches this time but saw others around us. They looked big and good. Will try next time. Dessert was very good. The caramel custard was the star. Tasted like a caramel frap without coffee. The banana creme pie was also awesome. Only recommendation would be to cut down a little on the salt in the crust- some bites were a bit much if you didnt mix it with the custard. Overall plan on taking friends here and visiting again! Excellent drinks, service, food and atmosphere. Good indoor and outdoor spaces to sit and eat.

Sarat Kosuri: I love fried chicken sandwiches. This place does them right. Perfectly cooked chicken and crispy crust. Mac and cheese and fries are great. They sell buckets of PBR. Good vibe. I came with five friends and we had a great time.

Momo Chicken and Grill: what do users think?

Anna Kane: Really excellent crispy spicy chicken wings, crispy fried dumplings with sweet sticky sauce, and bulgogi bibimpap with white rice and fried egg on top was beautiful. Also got the chicken fried rice but it was dry. Added garlic soy sauce which gave bibimpap and fried rice extra flavor. Overall would definitely order again! Staff was friendly when picking up my takeout order at the bar.

Glenda Rorick: Service was slow, the wings are sweet, so sweet our fingers were sticky; like after you eat like glazed donut. We order plain lo main, that also had a sweet flavor. The chicken fried rice tasted like shrimp. None of us like our food.

James McCabe: The fried dumplings were delicious and the salad was fine, but the menu is misleading. The ginger salad image shows a salad with chicken. It’s not clear that you have to add meat under the “optional” drop down menu if you want more than the greens. $12.99 is ridiculous for a small container of vegetables.

SM Bryant: Bonchon is way better and a little bit cheaper… it took an hour to get our order. Fries were soggy and chicken was just ok not that crispy or flavorful. We also got veggie dumplings and they were not that great. I probably wouldn’t return would just go to bonchon instead.

Deborah Christian: Amazing and very fresh foods. Fantastic flavors. A gem of a find in DC!

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen: what do users think?

Martha Ayala: I went into this Popeyes and ordered a large rice and beans and a spicy chicken sandwich. When I got into my car to start eating my food and I ate my sandwich perfectly fine. It was very delicious. I went in for my rice and beans and got to mixing as one does since the rice is in the top and beans are at the bottom. I took ONE bite and automatically noticed something was wrong. It was VERY SOUR! I always get the rice and beans and it was never s problem. But I did notice something odd while purchasing my order. THEY ALREADY HAVE THE RICE AND BEANS PRE MADE. Meaning who knows how long they have been sitting up in the counter!! I am disappointed because this was supposed to be my lunch for today and now I am at work hungry and not able to eat a snack during my lunch. I am also pregnant so this just tops everything.

Rajan Jones: Long wait for only two people in line but the chicken was hot and fresh. Tried the new mac n chz and after the way folks hyped it up, I was left underwhelmed.

Joseph Tordella: After the craze over Popeye’s chicken sandwich ends, you must come here for the best fried chicken sandwich in town. The spicy and regular versions are both awesome and live up to the hype. Simple-but-quality ingredients outpace Chick-fil-A and others by miles. Options include a combo with fries and drinks. This location is on the popular 14th street and would be a good stop before a night out.

Raffy 81: Not my favorite, but a very good place for chicken lovers!

Stacie: They did not disappoint! Delivery was fast, the order was accurate and most importantly the good was good !! We ordered this late night, so our expectations were low, we simply knew we had to eat. We were pleasantly surprised! Very impressed with the variety of food offerings!

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: This spot was packed, recommended, and I believe it was named something else earlier this year. Ive driven, & walked by this spot several times. So when one of my followers asked me to go, well…I was right there in the area…I decided to indulge!! Where I am: H_and_chicken . Location Reviewed: 816 H St., N.E. Washington D.C. . Reviewed: Their 15 piece Fried Chicken family meal with 2 sides & fries for $33. The Fried chicken was just DECENT. Nothing I would be amped to return to. The Mac & Cheese…DELICIOUS!! I expected more of it with this meal. The serving size was fit for one person. The Collard Greens…a hard NAH!! It tasted old& it was riddled with stems. The Fries…DECENT. Again, it just wasn’t enough of them. Their Mumbo sauce…STAMP!! I’ll go back just to get their delicious, spicy, sweet Mumbo!! . Deborah Nguyen: There were not many places open at 1AM on a weekday. We were grateful for some kind of food in DC so late. I love CRISPY fried chicken. This place had crispy chicken. But it was NOT good. I bought a 5-6 pack of chicken w/ mac n cheese. The chicken was salty and was dry. The mac and cheese texture was grainy. This place was just not good.

Kinshasa Skyne Harris: If DC charges $0.05 for bags, why are you all charging 5 times that much?Shopping bags at Harris Teeter is $0.05 and yet I had to walk out with food in my hands and was still charged 0.25 for a bag I never received? This alone has caused me to never patronize your establishment ever again.

Sasha Hill: Got it as delivery. The waffle was undercooked AND there was a long black hair inside the waffle.

Jeremy Albrecht: I have to reduce one star. While this is still nearly the best chicken in the city. Something very minor has changed since it was called Crown Chicken. I cannot tell you how disappointing this drop of maybe 10% quality affected me. I used to dream of this place, and now I just get it every so often. A let down for sure, but still very very good chicken. The sides are all sort of weak here. The Mac and cheese looks amazing but just tastes kind of bland. Came with the collards. But this place is all about the chicken.

Amber Straite: First time going today after doing a door dash order here. Staff (young lady with glasses) was super nice and gave me good advice. The food was PHENOMENAL!!! Like the cashier said I will definitely be back!

Nando's PERi-PERi: what do users think?

David: The grilled chicken was very good. The service, however, was a mess. Followed the instructions to grab a table, ordered online, and waited for the food. However, the food never arrived. Repeated order to three different staff members. Waited another 25 minutes. Finally got food. Large number of customers were complaining about the delays. So my experience was not unique.

Eric Stander: Absolutely the best Chicken restaurant. Clean, tidy modern and welcoming. The best tasting chicken of any franchise. Perfect and tasty Flame grilled peri peri chicken. Nice menu. Drinks. Friendly and efficient staff. Easy ordering process. Delicious peri peri sauces available to purchase. Highly recommended You will be back for more

ThaLuckyOne7: My time in DC was in part shaped by the food scene. Nando’s was one of my goto restos. Didn’t think I would be able to make it one this trip, let alone the DuPont location but the Euro embassies had an open house that fateful Saturday, and I took the opportunity to walk through Foggy and around downtown. Looks like the pandemic hit this location hard as the upstairs dining room areas were closed and was rather dimly lit. The food still tasted like Nando’s but the sauces were covered in plastic wrap, silverware was sparse and the workers seemed overwhelmed. I may hit up the Arlington location on the next visit (whenever that may be…); food still pretty good!
Response: Thanks for the review! See you again soon! :)

Nikhil Nelson: Great food. I think this is by far one of the best fast/to-go food options in DC. It is far healthier than most places, and the flavors and ingredients are sit-down restaurant quality.

The Elevator and Airplane Finder: My very first time dining in at a Nando’s. Here’s my overall thoughts about the experience I had: Pros: I can’t remember what kind of chicken I got but whatever kind it was, it was delish! It certainly was cooked to perfection. Additionally, I had a side of corn and mashed potatoes. Both of which were also good. Cons: My main issue is that the night we went, the fountain drink machine was out of half of the selections available… Hopefully this issue has been resolved already. Still overall, I give ‘‘em a good 4 out of 5.

American Best Chicken & Waffle: what do users think?

Marissa Dee: Wide variety of food options. Everything we had was tasty! I enjoyed the chicken tenders and waffles. Chicken was well seasoned and the waffle was close to perfect (fluffiness, sweetness, texture were all perfect)!

angelina nelson: I got a bunch of food for my family and it was amazing. The customer service was great, the food was fast and fresh. There is a variety of food and it’s all amazing!! Everything I had was so good! I highly recommend.

Jay Atkins: I keep trying with them last time I came here my wings were over cooked small and old Just left here today the waffle was burnt, Sausage was rubbery and small and flat Only thing was good was the grits, you guys need. We chiefs the quality and seasoning needs a lil work.

Ak Alam: I loved the chicken biryani extra spicy and it tasted like what my dad use to make. Very authentic Indian cuisine. Also can’t go wrong with chicken tender and waffle combo. Little place with big taste. Highly recommend this place. Definitely going back!

Shifuddin Babor: The chicken, fish and fries are awesome, hot and delicious especially with the seasoning and sauces. Recommend ordering on the phone, since it can get busy, but these Bengali’s really know how to cook!!🍟🍕🥘 🍮🍰🍔 check out. Alloys fresh food🔥🔥🔥

Yerania Poline: Food was yummy! Prices is affordable and the server was very friendly.
Response: Thank you

Mehjabeen Hossain: This store has so many food options ranging from american to indian. The store owner family is really nice. Biriani tasted really good.
Response: Thank you

Shantel Phillips: I ordered chicken and waffles and it literally exceeded my expectations. The chicken was hot and fresh and seasoned to perfection! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The waffles were so good! I ordered through door dash and it was still hot and fresh. I love spending money on food and this restaurant will definitely be getting more of my money lol.. somebody kiss the chef for me

Laurie Saunders: Enjoyed Sunday brunch and music. The whole experience was wonderful. Creative food pairings we would never tried on our own. Last day for the current band. Hoping they will be back soon. Such a talented bunch. 🎶

Misty L. Smith: So this is Georgia Browns in Washington DC!!!! It is a must try when visiting Washington, the food, decor, atmosphere and service professionals were excellent! Johnathon was our server and was terrific!! Now the food was incredible, we ordered 4 entrees, the lamb chops, Devil shrimp, country friend steak and Crab cakes, let me tell you the food was amazing!!! The jalapeño corn was amazing!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Yardbird Table & Bar: what do users think?

A Edwards: The atmosphere and vibe here is so pleasant. The customer service from beginning to end is spectacular. The host at the front door is wonderful. I ordered the chicken and waffles, it is a lot of food so I would probably recommend sharing. The chicken was fried to perfection and seasoned well. The macaroni and cheese was a little runny, they could have kept it in the oven for another 10 minutes but it was also seasoned well and tasty. The devil eggs is a must!

Tea Jay: This was my first time here and I love everything about this place! From the first time we entered we were greeted in a nice and professional manner. I felt at ease knowing that they ask for proof of covid vaccinated card, I personally think all restaurants should. Our server was awesome, the food, beverages and dessert was delicious!! Very high end restaurant, the decor, the ambiance, comfortable seating arrangements and even the restroom was clean and beautiful!! I highly recommend this establishment for fine dining and special occasions!!

Kyuna Sims: The service, food, and atmosphere were phenomenal. My server was very attentive and kind. She gave great recommendations and they didn’t disappoint. While I wasn’t a fan of the grits (the restaurant happily took it off my bill since I wasn’t satisfied), everything else was flavorful and delicious. The beverages were also fantastic - especially the blackberry mimosa. It was heavy on the champagne, which I was grateful for. This was my first visit to Yardbird for brunch and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Renee McCracken: This was my first time at Yardbird. I went for a birthday brunch and it was excellent. The food was delicious and the cinnamon roll was the best. It was huge and took me two days to eat. The shrimp and grits was flavorful and with each bite I wanted more. I also had the fried green tomatoes with the pork belly. Very good, but I wish it could have been offered as just an appetizer and not the fried green tomato BLT. I just wanted the tomatoes but because the cost was the same anyway, instead of a sandwich I just had them adjust it for me and give me the tomatoes and the pork bellies on top. Again, still delicious. The chicken and waffles with the spices watermelon a definite recommendation. Our server (waiter)not sure which term is correct but his name was Xavier and he was the absolute best. Will definitely ask for him when I go back. I highly recommend Yardbird DC for a wonderful dining experience.

Simone Lawrence: This was our first visit and we were greeted with a warm and pleasant smile. I already knew this was the place to be. We had reservations and was seated promptly. The atmosphere was comfy, vibrant and well decorated. Our server Ariana was very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was flavorful and delicious not to mention how well garnished it was. We ordered the chicken and waffles which is enough for two, brussel sprouts and the sweet tea braised beef served with mashed potatoes. Oh not to mention the honey biscuits with choice of butter or jam. Hmmm so good with the jam just a different touch. We would highly recommend Yardbird and cannot wait to return.

K A: I’ve been looking forward to having diner at Yardbird Table & Bar. I finally did. The food was great but the service was poor. I called before heading down to ask if they valet parking. The lady on the other end said YES and she even told me it’s $10. Only for me to drive down and I didn’t see any parking attendant in front of the restaurant. I put a call through right in front the restaurant to ask for valet parking. I was put on hold and the line later dropped. Then I called back and I was shocked to hear they don’t have their independent valet service. Why the Misinformation? However, I’ll still recommend. Culinary elegance ✅ Food presentation ✅ Lovely Ambiance ✅ Fine wine ✅

Edkesha Anderson: Great atmosphere! The food portions are generous (I guess to go with the prices😬). I went for dinner with friends and we had a great time. There is a nice bar area if you just want to hang out. The people were friendly and the bar service was great. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was delicious!! I highly recommend it.

Roy Boys: what do users think?

Jarron Brady: All around pretty amazing food at a cheap price for DC. Loved the smash burger! It came with a great sauce, really well cooked bacon and cooked medium. Waffles fries did not disappoint at all and weren’t too greasy. Ain’t Nothing to Cluck With Chicken sandwich was super flavorful. I didn’t love the drunken Mac and cheese or the taste of the Orange Moon cocktail but they didn’t take much away from what was an amazing meal.

Mike Delane: Great food. Good service. Nice vibe.

Cole Hiser: I love everything about Roy Boys. The drinks, music, and food are all on point. 10/10 service every time on top of that. I had them cater an event I had last month and they were so accommodating through that experience as well.

Benjie Jenkins: Fried chicken and mac n cheese were decent but nothing noteworthy. Cole slaw was borderline inedible, tasted like soap. Not impressed especially given the price.

Dwight Johnson: Great experience.Friendly staff with excellent drinks and food.

KoChix Chicken: what do users think?

Ploy Sriinkaew: I bought fried chicken take home but it was a bit soggy when it was cool. It has no dine in and recommended to order in the app to pick up. It is okay to order at the restaurant but one should wait and not much room to wait inside. (Also I posted the correct price)

Laura Carter: We were in DC a few weeks ago and drove past KoChix. My husband mentioned that we should try it the next time we’re in DC. We decided to drive from Baltimore to DC today and stopped here and we were not disappointed. It was really good chicken!! We got the soy garlic, spicy honey and hot honey. Crunchy, sticky, yummy! Nuff said.

Raiana Berman: Ordered thru Postmates and got the entire order wrong and will not answer the phone. Just wasted $40 and not able to get a refund as none of us will eat our food. I ordered a PLAIN cheesesteak and I unwrap my order to find lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo on it. My friend ordered wings and fries, wing flavors were wrong and the fries were soggy, cold and unflavored. Would never order from this place again.

Jenny G: Soy & Garlic Wings — extremely crunchy even after delivery! New favorite find: Corn Fritters.Super tasty. Definitely recommend!

Yen: Careful: this is not a sit down place. It’s made for take out. A bit ghetto. Chicken is not bad but fish and chips are really dry. Owner was not friendly. Whatever you do, don’t eat your wings here because there is no way to wash your hands from all the sticky wing sauce. I bought a bottle of water to use to rinse my hands outside.

Ahmed El-Sockary: I went for the 7W 4D combo, more than enough for one person. Shared the combo on sauces garlic soy & honey spicy. Both are good. Staff are helpful and give good recommendations.Dine in area is too small, no beer.

M planetmike: THIS IS THE PLACE for fast food fried chicken. Koreans reinventing soul food. This is a takeaway place. Very little standing room. Yummy fried chicken, fish, clams, and shrimp with various sauces from mildly sweet to spicy hot. Its delicious Korean fusion food. There is bulgogi and dumplings for the traditionalist.

MB: I tried the wings and dumplings, both were tasty and the service was fast and good. It would’ve been great if they had a space to sit outside because inside is so small, it gets pretty crowded and the smell is strong because there isn’t a division between kitchen and the restaurant.

Choong Man Chicken & Seafood: what do users think?

F Woodard: Let me start off my saying, everyone spoke. Great service and flavorful food! Would come again. The drinks were also good

Kali Smith: Wow! Absolutely delicious. We got the soy garlic wings and the garlic spicy wings- both were delicious in flavor and fall off the bone. The spicy ones were the perfect amount of heat. A different time we got boneless, which are good but the meat is not as juicy. Recommend bone in!!

Jarron Brady: Easily the best wings I’ve had in years and some of the best I’ve had ever. I had the garlic spicy wings and it was a near perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Also you get a lot of wings for like $13. The potato wedges were good as well with a nice crunch. Highly recommend this place! Update: the boneless wings are good but not exceptional like the bone in. Fries were good as well but wedges are slightly better because of the crunch.

Morgan Venzant: The food is really good but make sure you check your grilled and steamed shrimp. I found this in me pick up order. All the other shrimp were fine but this definitely grossed me out. I have had them on other occasions with no problem which is why I am still giving a 4 star review. And the fried okra was great!

albert karapetyan: Best fried chicken in D.C.!All food is always fresh and good. Family owned.

Jasmin A: Always friendly and the food is great :)Great customer service :)

albert karapetyan: Love their prices, and love their fresh fried chicken.

Peggy Porter: I love eating there .great service .love the steak egg roll and chicken wings

Lupe Morales: Great employee and great service, the food is the best, I love the food and I like going there with my family.

Mayo: The food tastes bad. The rice has no taste and was mushy. The lo mien had WAY too much soy sauce, and the spring roll tasted like it was a one of those frozen ones that was microwaved. The fried chicken was just OK. I gave 2 stars to be nice.

Jason Wu: I love this place!!!I go there 5 to 6 times a week to get something. Even my whole family went there to eat for special occasions or just to get a quick bite. There half and half are the best and there hot sauce and mumbo sauce are legit the best sauce I have taste in my life! The floor and table and chairs is very clean!

Butter Chicken Company: what do users think?

Jessica Martin: Great place for a pickup or a sit down, cool vibe to the place and kind workers. Small menu but that means they do what they do well. Had the Tikka masala and it was rich and flavorful but fresh and tender with a slight spicy kick. Huge servings too. Asked them to trade out the naan for rice (gluten free allergy) and they left out the saag paneer so it might have gluten in it? In any case I’m excited to try their butter chicken next!

Sadhana G: One day, we checked off our DC local things to do by visiting the Butter chicken company which is open only on hours between 12-3pm everyday and closed on weekends. They had a very limited menu with more meat options and a few vegetarian options. We got the famous butter chicken meal and a chicken tikka meal which came along with rice and two sides of saag panneer and veg biriyani. We also got a sampler of chole. Overall, the food was good but we learnt that the odd timing of the restaurant which limits to only 300 orders per day was primarily intended to target the IT crowd which lived in the area. But for the decent pricing of 14$ in a beautiful microwaveable container and a big proper portion of the meal were the highlights of this place.

Gabby V: (2021) I’m not sure what happened recently but I went to Butter Chicken last week and was completely disappointed. The chicken itself is a lower grade and the recipe!!! has been changed for the worse. I asked the staff and they confirmed the recipe did change. Before the butter chicken they offered were chicken thighs and the sauce was decadent. Now the new recipe offers skimpy pieces of chicken breast and the sauce is a watery mess. The owner has opened more locations - maybe this is affecting the good but hopefully it gets back to normal. (2019) This place just opened and the hype is real. The lines are forming out the door and he’s not kidding, 300 plates & then he’s closed. The butter chicken is full of so much flavor, SPICE, and goodness. Not for the faint of heart! It’s a limited menu but that’s part of allure. The atmosphere feels authentic with the food being cooked in huge pots. If you get the chance go!!

Derek Reinhard: Does not disappoint. But get there early! Choose 1 of 2 choices for entree and pick-2-of-3 sides. Healthy level but not too much spicing. Limited seating but they specialize in to-go (their dishes and utensils are 100% recyclable). Downside is the busier they are the slower the line. Worth.the.wait.

Vy H.: This place is the bomb. Great place to grab lunch, and they are always busy (pre-COVID) but the line goes by quick. And most importantly, they close once they sell 300 portions, so come early! I recommend their signature dish, the Butter Chicken—it is very flavorful with a spicy kick, and the chicken chunks meats are huge. The spinach and chickpea sides are so good, especially dipped with the naan they give you, complimentary. The portion is huge here so come hungry or prepare to bring back home/office with you!

Mallory Meaney: Went on the second day - they are still working out a few kinks but the food is amazing! Warning to those who can’t take the heat - all the food is pretty spicy! Loved the garlic naan and the butter chicken. They make enough for 300 meals, when they run out they close. We went around 1pm and called ahead to make sure they were still open. They said they had about 50 meals left at that point. They could improve by offering free cups of water - I had to buy a bottle of water - and instituting a better ordering system. I will be back!

Lou Fegans: Incredible butter chicken! It tastes so fresh and the chicken is so tender. The staff are friendly and quick to offer service. The seating is cute and cozy, plus they offer carryout.

Henry's Soul Cafe: what do users think?

Jason Wallach: Found this place through a search for soul food. I went with three friends hoping to have a nice, sit-down lunch, but we were disappointed to find this is a takeout shop. The cashier, however, immediately spotted our predicament and had someone from the kitchen take 4 chairs and two tables outside so that we could enjoy a sit-down outdoor meal. We ordered the steak sub, the 8-piece fried chicken box, the BBQ ribs, and the sliced turkey with a side of collard greens and mac and cheese. We also ordered 3 peach cobblers and 1 sweet potato pie. Total bill around $70. The food in general was very good, and the portions were enormous. Only issues were the collard greens and mac and cheese were pretty salty, although my friend liked the salt in the collard greens. The mac and cheese was also a little dry and crumbly, and I like mine dripping with cheese. Peach cobbler was outstanding, as was the sweet potato pie.

Prpleink Dixon: So delicious!!! Anything you order you will enjoy. Fried fish, pork chops or chicken is all good!! The peach cobbler and sweet potato pie were sweeeeet and tasty

Acquinette Robinson: I ordered smothered chicken the chicken smelled like old grease and taste like it was cooked 4 days ago my Mac and cheese was watery with no taste and my sweet potato pie look like it was a week old the crust was hard and greasy and the topping was greasy and old tasting horrible a complete waist of money all went in the trash because they didn’t answer the phone when I tried calling

Brielle Sawyer: The food was appealing but the taste left lots to be desired. The fish was a bit salty and the greens were flavorless. Not my favorite but not horrible.

J. Seals: Absolutely delicious! Mac n cheese was amazing. Greens had more thick stems than I like but were very flavorful. Sweet potatoes were heavenly. There are a few counter seats but plan on leaving with your food. I did buy a slice of their famous sweet potato pie but was way too full to eat it after my meal. Very affordable meal and much better than I expected.

Johny Mccahill: This is soul comfort food at its finest.Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, collard greens, and mac and cheese are my picks here. Fast friendly and affordable .

Janice Baker: The black lady with the 👓 that was taking orders was so disrespectful, unprofessional, rude to the customers. The lady was throwing Tarter sauce on the counter when we was standing there. The food was okay but it was better when Mrs. Debra was cooking it.

Sam Osborn: Honestly don’t know why it’s taken me this long to review Henry’s. I’ve lived across the street at the 17th and U location for 8 years, and this is by far the best soul food in DC. BBQ pork ribs are fall off the bone juicy and delicious, Mac and cheese collared greens and all the sides are hot fire. Love you Henry’s!

Lenwood Thompson: Excellent food gonna make a trip back to. DC just for the food. Try it sweet potato pie Excellent bit sweet but good meatloaf awesome
