Miracle Method Surface Refinishing: what do users think?

Molly Cunningham: Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityWe had Miracle Method come out this morning and they did an AMAZING job with our tub! Our tub was way overdue to be refinished and I can’t believe it’s the same tub! Justin was on time & completed the job earlier than expected. We will definitely be using this company again. Highly recommend!

Margaret Smith: Critical: ProfessionalismMary Ann O'Hara gave an estimate but never followed up with calls. If she did not want to do the work why risk the company's reputation by avoiding the customer. Too bad the franchise is based on zip codes and not owner.

Bella Schauman: Miracle’s technician arrived early, about 8:10 AM, worked all day without even breaking for lunch, and clearly had a devotion to doing an excellent, thorough, job. When he left, the bathroom was immaculate and the tub was perfect.

Craig Schneibolk: They are very consistent and always do a great job.

Remodel USA: what do users think?

Jessica Puhek: I hired Remodel USA to remodel my kitchen in December 2019. I was so excited about my new kitchen and the salesperson did a great job hooking me. Even the president of the company called and thanked me for choosing them. I thought I found the best company but unfortunately once they got my deposit I discovered that they are a nightmare. I called for months trying to figure out when they were going to start the work and the once they did show up they just tore everything up and left me with a huge mess that I now have to pay someone else to fix. Not one permit was pulled despite being told it was being done and that the city was asking for this or that to justify delay after delay. Then when confronted they tried to say that permits were not needed even though the city assured me that that was not correct. And confronting them was another issue all together. No one knows what is going on from the top on down. I should have read and headed the reviews before I hired them. My mistake and I will never allow them back into my home. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. Service: Remodeling
Response: Thanks for the review! We will do our best to use this to improve.

Scott Jablonski: This company is the worst! They took over a year to complete my in-laws cabinets. The salesperson promised several things which they did not deliver. We had to call multiple times to get anywhere with them. Supposedly once they got started they would only take a few days. However it lasted over 3 weeks to get completed. Several days pasted with no calls by anyone. Save yourself a headache and stay away! Service: Refurbishment

Eireanne Slagle: Easily the worst customer service experience of my life. I requested this company to come out to my home to look at giving me a quote for a tub to shower conversion. I was told to set aside 90 min. for the consultation. I informed the sales representative as soon as he arrived that I was getting bids and would not be interested in making a decision the same day. He laughed, said he understood but would still try to win my business. The quote he gave me was well over twice as much as everyone else I had received, so I thanked him for his time but made it clear I was not interested. This began the longest stand off I have been apart of. He refused to take no for an answer. Every time I would politely try to end the consultation he would call someone else, spending approximately 20 min on the phone each time, very awkwardly explaining my situation. At one point in time he said she must not have any money as she doesn't want to take this incredible deal. It wasn't that, I just wasn't willing to spend $25,000 on a shower system when I can get a new custom designed shower for less than half that. This went on FOR THREE HOURS. I finally had to threaten to call the police before they would leave. You would think that was it, but oh no! Now begins the harassment from the company. I have been called every single day since this event. I have informed every person I have spoken to that I am not interested in ever working with them on principle even though they have offered to go as low as $15,000 (so $10,000 mark up on the original quote) and yet they continue to call me. Only one person out of the 5 that have called has been a manager calling in response to my complaint. Everyone else just continues to try to sell me on their great product. I had no intention on leaving a review since I will not ever use their service and therefore cannot attest to the quality of their product, but the fact that I was called yet again after begging to be left alone and removed off their list has changed my mind.

Jeff Lee: Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueThis was the worst remodeling experience of my life. My kitchen is not complete after 7 months for a job that was supposed to take 2 weeks. I can't anyone to call me back! This has been the most unprofessional experience. Photos to come!Service: Remodeling

Orlando Leal: Jan 2022 - Ordered a Kohler shower All good I am assured by the rep that any issues to contact the rep and it will taken care of Feb 2022 - Coordinator called to arrange Project Mgr visit to review site for potential issues Feb 2022 - Project Mgr arrived and left after 10 minutes. I figured he has done a million of them so piece of cake. I have no idea if that was the case. Mar 2022 - Coordinator called to schedule arrival of materials to our home. All good Mar 2022 - 3 weeks later, they schedule the start of the project. At this time, I tell them that my wife is the point of contact I also ask about who is coming and if they are employees or contractors and what their names are and what time they are coming. Nothing from Project Mgr. Mar. 31st the crew shows up at 8 am and start. The crew are contractors and not employees. They were excellent. Problem: the shower pan the company ordered is the wrong size. They inform the project mgr and are told that one is available in Capital Hts and would arrive on Apr. 1st. The pan arrived but no crew and no communiacation. Mon Apr. 4th - no crew and no communication from Project Mgr until 4 pm. It was to me. It should have been to my wife as I had requested. Project Mgr said crew would come Tue. Tue Apr. 5th - Crew came and said the pan was the wrong size again. It was obviously not verified by the project mgr and he told the crew he would have to order another one and it would take time. I sent an email to everyone from rep, manager, coordinator, and project manager about what has happened and also to remind, again, the project mgt to communicate with my and to let her know estimated delivery date. Apr. 12th - so far, we are in the dark. Apr. 19th - I finally sent the last email that said if I don't hear back from anyone, I want this escalated to a higher level. Apr. 20th - Proj Mgr apologized and said there was miscommunications with the vendor where they ordered the shower pan, but it was estimated to arrive Apr. 25th Apr. 22nd - Shower Pan arrived Apr. 25th - Crew came to install but had to move the drain. Shower glass door crew came in the evening to measure for custom door. May 2nd - Proj Mgr sent me a text to schedule shower glass door install. Do you believe it? After numerous times I have said that point of contact is my wife, he continues to text me. I just want this to end and I said Thursday or Friday (May 5 or 6) works for us. Waiting to hear back from Proj Mgr. May 4th - Just got a notice that my project has been completed and they want their payment within 24 hours. This is another example of communication that has been absent. I don't have a shower glass door installed, but they want to be paid in full. See my May 2nd comment above.

jems stock: The kitchen and bathrooms look amazing (I am very impressed with the tile work). Communication throughout the project was excellent. They were also very helpful in providing design advice. Overall I am very happy with the results.

David Craig: September 2018: Remodel USA completed a full kitchen remodel project for me and they did a wonderful job. Remodel USA installed new cabinets, counter top, light fixtures, electrical outlets, new appliances, sink and garbage disposal, flooring, and painted the walls. I am completely satisfied with their work. I love my new kitchen. February 2019: Remodel USA completed a full basement bathroom remodel project for me. Remodel USA installed all new materials and fixtures, including tub, tile, flooring, vanity, medicine cabinet with mirror, lights & wall switches, vent fan, and doors. And they painted the walls. I am pleased with the work. It was a 1-week effort. Everything was done on schedule. July 2019: Just like my basement bathroom, Remodel USA completely remodeled my upstairs bathroom. They installed all new materials and fixtures, including tub, tile, flooring, vanity, medicine cabinet with mirror, lights & wall switches, vent fan, and doors. Walls were painted. It was a 1-week effort. I am pleased with the work.
Response: Thank you for your business! We're glad we exceeded your expectations.

Reema Verma: I was thoroughly impressed with Remodel USA and with the Owens Corning system from day one through to final completion. You pay for what you get and this product is well worth the investment. My basement has added so much to my house! The project was completed in a timely manner. Excellent experience from beginning to end!
Response: We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review!

T-A Passions: I contacted Remodel USA Capital Heights, MD through Home Advisor. I was looking for a contractor to install a sink vanity and light that I already purchased. I had no intentions of doing a complete bathroom remodel until I was shown a remodel was attainable & affordable. Remodel USA Capital Heights, MD did a fantastic job! Much thanks to Aaron Dawkins-Sales for not being a pushy salesman & helping me create a beautiful bathroom & Percy Melendez-Prj Mgr and Fernando’s installation team for making this remodel a stress-free experience. #aplus #greatcustomerservice #10rating
Response: Thanks much for the kind words and sharing beautiful pics of your bathroom. We are glad you liked our product and services.

Black and Green: BAD EXPERIENCE BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN. I hired them to install their cabinets, sink with garbage disposal and my dishwasher, turned into also backsplash and lights as well. It turned out nice because of the options cabinets and backsplash that I chose, with the help of the design guy. I wish he was the project manager (PM). The experience was awful. Project manager was not on sight the first day so when the workers arrived I had to tell them what to do. The second day the worker that could speak English (Memphis) dropped off the worker that couldn't speak English (Alex) who then allowed a guy from off the street into my house to help him load boxes. The man obviously didn't work with them, was looking all around in my house and trying to talk to the clueless Alex, asking if we were selling my car. I (5'0 young women) had to tell the man to leave. Boxes were placed in my living room, leaning on and placed on my furniture. Come to find out some of which were not for my kitchen. I still have someone else's drawer and I can't install it because it doesn't fit. Anyway, when I called the project manager, also named Alex, irate that I had to confront a man to leave my house he explained how busy he was, going from here to there, and given me explanations of why this might have happened and he would arrive at 2. He didn't come that day. I saw the PM Alex 4 times, twice because I asked him to come. When Memphis finally came back he asked if I knew the man that allowed himself into my home. I told him NO! They continued working and left. The next day a representative called me asking how things were going, I told her about the incident and she sounded very unhappy about it and called the project manager Alex. So he called me we talked, I explained how I'm not mad at Hispanic Alex, it wasn't all on him but I was uncomfortable and I wish I could just get a whole new team. Obviously not possible but PM Alex decided that worker Alex shouldn't come back to the house. When Memphis returned Alex was still with him, but waiting in the car. My husband was there and spoke to Memphis and told him we don't have issues with that Alex, it was the responsibility of the project manager to oversee things. So Alex came in and they completed work. There was an issue with my wires being crossed in my stove after Memphis reconnected it which made it spark and almost caused it to catch on fire, but that was fixed by the PM Alex. My biggest issue is that we were promised something that was not followed through with and I felt very uneasy for a few days. I would not recommend this company. They hire Hispanic guys with trucks who are Jack's of all trades, I could have done that myself. PM Alex didn't even know these guys. They did an awesome job on their schpeil about a PM being on site and having different teams for certain things and how they set everything up in a warehouse before delivery. Lies. I love my new kitchen but not worth what I went through or what I am paying.

Remodel USA Inc.: what do users think?

Tamarah Curtis: Great experience with Remodel USA from the start. Detailed explanation on the process. When the crew arrived they covered everything from the stairs and hallway to the bathroom sink to protect from damage. They finished the demo and install in just under 2 days. It looks really nice in there now and glad to have a working shower!
Response: Tamarah, Thanks for the excellent 5-star review, us here at Remodel USA are very happy to have earned you as a customer! Hope to hear from yo soon. Thank you again (Khader Mughrabi/President)!

Maria Calderon: I recently had an agent come out to quote me for a bathroom installation in my basement. They quoted me 30,000.00!!!! This was an unfinished basement. I have framed up the entire basement. I have the layout of where everything goes shower,, upflush toilet system, and the sink. I framed the area,, Installed drywall, did the electrical including an exhaust fan. I am even framing the shower area. So please tell me the justification for a 30,000.00 quote for an area where most of the work is already done for you??
Response: Maria, We want to apologize for the information you received not saying it was incorrect but maybe just didn't seem right to you miscommunication maybe! if you would to speak with us to better understand the estimate or even to get a new one please feel free to reach out to our marketing team at (240-348-2965)! Thank You.

Jewel Bell: Today was a great day with Taylor! The art of negotiation was present but we agreed to a price that I was comfortable with. She spent nearly 6 hours going over products and ensuring I was satisfied. I would recommend Taylor as a sales representative to someone who is looking to update a kitchen. She is definitely patient, considerate and honest!
Response: Jewel, we would like to thank you for your kind words an would also like to let you know we appreciate you choosing us here at Remodel USA for your kitchen remodel an for you taking the time out to give us this kind 5-star review! (Khader Mughrabi/President) !

Dean Shaffer: Remodel USA completed our Luxstone shower project in a few days. It's beautiful, very functional and exactly as promised. The entire process was pleasant and easy. We love it and recommend it to anyone who needs a new shower. The bathroom is small, so it was hard to get full pictures before and after, but you should be able to get an idea from these.

Richard Kosmer: The Remodel USA crew was very professional at all times while in our home. They always respected me and my home as well. They did an excellent job and my wife and I are very pleased with their work. You have an excellent product and good people working with you from beginning to end. Life is good when you can shower in style, which my wife and I can now do thanks to Remodel USA and our new Kohler Luxstone shower!
Response: Richard, Us here at Remodel USA would like to thank you for the kind 5-star review. We are very grateful to have earned your business and look forward to hearing from you when you may have a new project you may like to start! Thanks again (Khader Mughrabi/President) !

Lee Kallusch: When the materials for my tub-to-shower conversion came in, the work was scheduled promptly and workers arrived on time. I had been told that should an issue be found behind the existing walls it would be dealt with within the scope of the job, so imagine my surprise when, after notching a wall support to recess a power line that was discovered, I was asked to pay a significant amount of money to the foreman to cover this work. Although some scarring and gouging in the small bathroom resulted from trying to install a large back wall panel, the workmen touched up as best they could. The workmen did what seems like a splendid job, but I was very disturbed by the contact from the office, and I have absolutely no information on warranty or care of this new, very expensive shower.
Response: Lee, Thank you for taking the time out to write this review. We are thrilled to hear that you appreciated our workers arriving on time and our prompt scheduling, however im sorry to hear about our lack of communication please allow us to try an fix things! You can expect to here from us very soon an we can talk about how to make things right. Thank you (Khader Mughrabi/President) (301-333-6000)

Jason Haberkorn: We had this company remodel our bathroom 4 years ago. They did an awesome job. Last month, our bathtub started to lean into our kitchen ceiling and water went everywhere. I have been trying to contact someone to come out and look at it. After 3 weeks of calling and calling, I finally made an appointment for someone to come to my house. They charged us a $75 “trip” fee for the guy to say “oh i didn’t know it was a free standing tub, I need someone else to take the drywall down” After 2 weeks,l of calling and calling, I still haven’t had someone to call me back. They took my money, but cannot return my calls. I am furious. I would not recommend this company due to the horrible customer service.
Response: Jason, we really apologize for not reaching out sooner but a one-star review is not what we expect for our customers. Please allow us to try an fix the problem an better assist you with whats going on. (Khader Mughrabi/President) (301-333-6000)

William Martin: Estimator Lynn Sullivan made 3 trips to our home (the first in early May of 2021). The process went on way too long. We were told that the project would begin in 6-8 weeks and that the entire project would take 3 full work days. These estimates were later adjusted to a start time in 10-12 weeks and 3.5 days for the work. This was a serious underestimation because the work didn’t begin until mid-March 2022! I would estimate that the work took about 10 workdays to complete, very reasonable in my view. The project was finished on April 8, 2022, 11 months after we planned the project! Fortunately, the original project team was replaced when I hinted that I was looking to terminate the contract. Francisco Cardona was a breath of fresh air and a very competent individual with good interpersonal skills. But he only got put on the project in early 2022 when I complained about the long delay and the fact that I had received NO COMMUNICATION FROM ANYONE about why there was a delay. I would have fully understood if I’d have heard “supply chain problems” or “inability to get a team together due to COVID.” But I got no reason or rational whatsoever. Francisco and his team were extremely accommodating and worked very hard to make up for the mistakes that were made in prior months. He provided a realistic timeline and he worked with Remodel USA so that we had some very nice extra features added to the project at no cost to us. Two issues, however, have not made us happy, however. First, after the old bathroom was broken up and taken out, we discovered that the bathroom vanity that was delivered was NOT the one we selected. Instead of a two-sink vanity, it was a one-sink vanity. We were told that it would take 10 weeks to wait for the proper vanity. Well, our bathroom was not functional, so we had to adjust and make a decision to move ahead with the project by using the one-sink vanity. So, our bathroom remodel is a bit funky with two medicine cabinets and one sink between them. Francisco and his glass subcontractors fashioned a piece of mirror between the two medicine cabinets and we made it work but, frankly, this was a major screwup on the part of Remodel USA. I worry a bit about concern from prospective home buyers when we leave the house. The second issue is the lack of follow-through by Francisco once the project finished up. After working so hard to make things work during the project, once the work was finished, I got no response to several text messages. Francisco promised to get me the product warranties. Despite three text messages making these requests, I’ve gotten no response whatsoever. I would appreciate getting these warranties. The subs Francisco used for the glass shower, Alexi and Lucy, were the MVPs of the project! Alexi and Lucy’s glass work “made” our bathroom project. The work is superb, perfect really, and very attractive. Their work ensured that we have a good measure of pride with the project in the end. The installation, as good as it was, had some flaws. The finish work, sanding and painting was hurried and imperfect. I will eventually repaint the bathroom to sand down where the paint drips are and to repair some of the wallboard imperfections. The work is acceptable, it just isn’t done to the quality that one would expect at the price we paid for the project ($31,479). For such a small bathroom, I think the project was over-priced. I am very pleased by the extra additions that Francisco worked with us on that gave us some really nice features at no extra cost (extra glass panel so we could benefit from natural light from a window, a beautiful teak shower seat on the back wall, a first-class shower head and wand, and a couple recessed light fixtures over the shower itself). I don’t think I would recommend this company to family or friends. There were just way too many issues along the way. This was a very expensive full master bathroom renovation that I really expected would not be so challenging. I would, however, recommend Francisco and his subcontractors if they were working independently.
Response: Hello William a three-star experience is not what i expect for my customers. I would like to learn more about what happened during the process to make things right. Would you consider calling me so that I can help you? (James Wilson/VP Logistics)

Jocelyn Mance: I had a great experience with Remodel USA. Cesar Pineda and his crew were great. They completed the demolition and install in two days. They did a great cleanup and I'm enjoying my beautiful shower.
Response: Jocelyn, Thank you so very much for your kind 5-star review! Also thank you for choosing us here at Remodel USA to help you revamp your bathroom with one of our Bold Kohler Showers! We are delighted to have gained you as a customer. (Khader Mughrabi/President)!

Derick Rodriguez: Sales person we had gave us a great price. The installers were very good and fast. Even after the manufacturers shipped a window broken. They kept me updated with info. Even the installer did. Windows looks great and a awesome product.

Bath Plus Kitchen: what do users think?

Katie Wilson: We had a great experience with Bath+Kitchen at our DC row house. Eric and team offered helpful suggestions and options to help us make decisions without being pushy. Communication was great the whole way through. The team that actually did the renovation was professional, courteous and worked fast. The final result was completely as expected and reflected the 3D renderings. Any small items that required follow up at the time that the renovation was done were addressed promptly. I can’t believe how much more space we have and our kitchen is so much more functional. Also, it looks beautiful! Would highly recommend. Thanks! Services: Cabinet installation , Kitchen cabinet installation , Remodeling , Kitchen design , Kitchen countertop replacement

Nicole Tidwell: I LOVED working with Bath Plus Kitchen on my kitchen remodel! Eric and his team are great to work - have excellent design ideas, very communicative and made the overall design and remodeling process very easy! Luis and his crew that handled the demo and install were also so great - very communicative, respectful of the space and patient with nosey dogs who wanted to see what they were up to each day! Would highly recommend as I could not be more pleased with how it all turned out! Services: Repair water fixtures , Tile work installation , Drywall installation , Repair flooring , Remodeling , Drywall repair , Cabinet design , Paint indoors
Response: Thanks for the review Nicole! It was great working for you.

Jill Burdick-Zupancic: We had a wonderful experience with Eric and the team at BPK. Eric reviewed pictures and measurements of our row home to see how we could make our kitchen space more functional while updating finishes. We quickly learned that we were limited with converting the space we had, but with Eric’s vision, we moved forward with moving the kitchen from a short wall to a long wall on the same floor, resulting in exactly what we wanted and a totally new look – open concept, large island, and functional cabinet space. Eric was patient and detail-oriented during the design process, making sure we went into demo knowing what to expect with the final result. Leading up to demo we decided to use BPK’s suggested construction crew; I’m so happy we did. Luis and his team were wonderful to work with. Everything was by the books (permits, no cutting corners, clear change orders) and while the project did last longer than planned, this was due to delays in appliances and materials and not due to an overfull construction schedule. This project was a significant undertaking, and I’m so thrilled with our space. I will absolutely hire Eric and team again when we are ready to start our next big project, and I’ve already recommended them to friends who have projects on their radars. Services: Cabinet installation , Tile work installation , Plumbing fixture installation , Drywall installation , Custom cabinet design & installation , Remodeling , Drywall repair , Cabinet design , Paint indoors
Response: Thanks Jill! It was a pleasure working with you and Ryan.

David Cooper: If you are looking to get your kitchen remodeled, Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is the company to use! From the initial visit when we described what we had in mind, everyone at Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel was incredible. They took a significant amount of time to explain the process, work through the specifics of the design with us, and help us be comfortable with the investment we were making. Marissa was outstanding throughout the design process. Once we settled on the design, we worked with Eric to quickly get the contract signed and they started the work as scheduled. Eric made the contract process easy. The people that came in and did the work were professional and very competent. The workers always cleaned up the house each evening when they were finished for the day. The company also was very quick to come by and supervise the work being done. Any minor changes were quickly handled by the supervisor. When we asked them to change some outlets for us that were not specifically in the contract, they quickly agreed. We are completely satisfied with the work that Bath Plus did on our kitchen. We are looking forward to getting a couple half-baths remodeled in the future and we will only call Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel to do the work. If you have a remodeling job that you want completed professionally, in a timely manner, with great people coordinating and doing the work, then Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is who you need to contact.

Khanh Truong: Bath + Kitchen recently helped remodel my whole condo and did an amazing job. They not only revamped the kitchen and the two bathrooms, but also did new flooring, new painting, and new lighting. As Eric and Yuviny were very reliable and responsive, it spared me from the stress and headaches which normally came with remodeling projects. Eric made good suggestions and recommendations and went out of his way to accommodate my requests. I am extremely pleased with my brand new condo. Kudos to Bath + Kitchen. Services: Tile work installation , Plumbing fixture installation , Custom cabinet design & installation , Remodeling , Cabinet design , Paint indoors , Install flooring
Response: Thanks Lac! It was a pleasure working with you on the project.

caitlin leach: We love our newly remodeled kitchen thanks to Bath + Kitchen! Highly highly recommend. Eric worked within our space-constraints to design a kitchen that maximized every inch and better utilized the space. His design stuck to our budget and yet the quality of the materials and craftsmanship was not compromised at all. Luis and his crew were incredibly professional, courteous, and clearly talented. They kept the jobsite clean so that we could live at home during the project. Their skill and attention to detail is clear in the finished project. They also ably fixed some serious issues created by a previous owner’s DIY reno. Amazingly, the crew even finished the job ahead of schedule. We could not be happier with our kitchen and recommend Bath + Kitchen without reservation. Services: Custom cabinet design & installation , Remodeling
Response: Thanks for the review Caitlin! It was a pleasure working with you and Paul.

Jen Brewer: I recommend Bath + Kitchen without any reservation for any bathroom remodeling project. My detailed assessment: Quality: Their work quality is top-notch. The team did an extremely professional job, down to each detail; they recommended material that balanced high quality with the price points I wanted to stay within. The tile-work was especially well-done: I had ordered hand-made tiles that were naturally a bit uneven and thus more difficult to place. Yet they did a fabulous job- it simply looks great. Timeliness: Their timeliness was impressive. While they had to start a week later than originally planned, that was only because one of the fixtures had not yet arrived, and it did not make sense to tear up my old bathroom on the original date planned, then have to wait another week for the part to arrive. I thought that was a considerate and smart decision, and it wasn't their fault that shipping was delayed. Once they got started, they finished ahead of schedule, even coming in some Saturdays to work the project. And they showed up exactly on time every single day-- arriving at exactly 9 am and departing at 6 pm. Very predictable and professional Guidance through Product Choice: This is where Eric Shipe, the design consultant, was particularly helpful! I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but Eric helped me visualize a few minor adjustments that made my vision even better, all while honoring and keeping to what I wanted to achieve (for me, opening the space up as much as possible and creating a "modern coastal" look). Value for the Money Spent: Worth every dollar. They are experts and you get what you pay for. Also, there are no hidden or additional costs; they are completely transparent in conversation and in the contract. Overall assessment: Bath + Kitchen was VERY easy to work with from start to finish. Not only would I use them again, but I plan to use them again to finish my basement and add a half-bath. Their reliability, honest-dealing, and quality of work cannot be matched. Great company! Services: Tile work installation , Plumbing fixture installation , Drywall installation , Remodeling , Paint indoors , Install flooring , Tile work replacement
Response: Thank you for the wonderful review. You made it easy on us. Our entire team enjoyed working for you. We love the look of your bathroom with the wall mounted vanity and nice pop of color with the shower wall tile. Thanks for your business and we look forward to serving you in the future.

Sophia Moshasha: I was worried about how stressful my kitchen renovation project would be but after years of consulting many different design build companies I decided to work with Bath Plus. Their team helped guide me through the process. They were very helpful with the design and selection phase. They even helped me select appliances and electrical fixtures which other companies said I’d have to handle on my own. I highly recommend working with them if you’re looking for a competitive price on your kitchen remodel project but want to work professionals you take pride in what they do!
Response: Thank you Sophia!

Sara Hartanov: We had a fantastic experience with Bath Plus Kitchen, and have recommended them to several friends in the area. They transformed our galley kitchen in to the open concept kitchen of our dreams in a few short weeks. We are thrilled about the final result, but were also incredibly impressed with the ease of the entire process. Their crew was punctual, polite and very clean. Austin was fantastic to work with, understood our design vision and gave fantastic recommendations. The quality of work was superb. We'd strongly recommend them for any size project, and will be working with them again in future.
Response: Thanks for the great review! It was a pleasure working with you and Grant.

Emily Kroiss: I am very happy with the work that Bath Plus Kitchen did for my kitchen renovation. Our outdated kitchen was completely gutted, and the final result has changed the entire feel of our house. They were able to start the project immediately, which was very important to us, and stuck to their timeline. Eric worked with us diligently to provide advice on a number of topics and to promptly resolve any issues, and his team was hardworking and courteous. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking to complete a kitchen renovation.

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup: what do users think?

Artistically G: The manager came out immediately to assess the job. She was professional, genuinely warm and personable. I am typically very anxious about having others in my home, but she definitely put me at ease. Within an hour of her leaving, my technician showed up. I showed him all that needed to take place, he explained in perfect detail what he would do and provided me with a reasonable estimate. He cleared the bathroom clog, repaired the pipe in the kitchen and repaired the sprayer on my kitchen sink in under an hour. The stellar customer service, from creating the appointment to fulfillment of the job, and the the quality of he workmanship is what keeps me coming back time and time! Services: Faucet repair , Drain cleaning , Plumbing pipe repair
Response: Thank you so much for your positive comments and 5-star review about our entire team who assisted you! We truly appreciate your feedback and we will share this with them to let them know to keep up the amazing work.

Dani Sha: Had a plumbing emergency and they came out and checked out everything for me even when my “warranty” company was no help. Very prompt, helpful, and kind. Jen was the best and her conversation was nice and helpful everyone involved had the best customer service. Ive used them before and I will definitely use them again!!!Service: Plumbing
Response: Thank you, Dani! We are really happy that Jen provided an outstanding service. Will be sure to pass along your kudos to her. We appreciate you putting your trust in Roto-Rooter!

Bryana Nicholas: Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, ResponsivenessDispatch office was quick and accommodating of my schedule. Technician was incredible! I ended up not needing services based on assessment of damage. I was not charged for initial assessment nor was I combed into needing additional services. Same day service was excellent and put my mind at ease! Will definitely use them again!Services: Plumbing leak detection, Water damage-related cleanup & repair
Response: Hi Bryana, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! Thanks so much for calling Roto-Rooter and feel free to call us anytime, 24/7/365!

Austin Bordley: I couldn’t be more pleased with how quickly the Roto-Rooter team were able to arrive at our house yesterday. This was after calling 3 different local plumbers. With in minutes they were able identify the plumbing issues. Even better after the plumbing work was completed a few hours later, their restoration team was out at our house to help clean up the mess in our basement. Everyone we engaged with was polite and very professional. I would strongly recommend this company for any surprise plumbing accident. Thank you roto-rooter team! Services: Sewage cleanup , Plumbing leak detection , Plumbing , Water damage-related cleanup & repair , Plumbing pipe repair
Response: You are very welcome, Austin! Thanks so much for your positive comments and 5-star review about our entire team who assisted. We truly appreciate your feedback and we will share this with them to let them know to keep up the amazing work.

Angus Mastin: My sump pump failed and my basement had about 4 inches of water in it. I called RotoRooter at around 6am and got an immediate response. My representative, Jenn, came to my house and walked me through the entire process. She helped me get the insurance claim started, explained in detail the services that would be provided, coordinated the plumber and cleanup team, and just made me feel better about the whole process. This will be my go to plumbing service from here on in. Services: Plumbing , Water damage-related cleanup & repair , Sump pump installation , Sump pump repair
Response: We are glad Jenn provided top-notch service, Angus. Thanks so much for sharing your 5-star review and don't hesitate to request him, should you need us again. Always happy to help!

octavia nixon: Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueCustomer service was phenomenal. Additionally the gentleman that installed my toilet was professional, on time and completed the installation really quickly. As someone who doesn’t know the first thing about installing a toilet, I had a really great experience and would definitely recommend this company to anyone.Service: Toilet installation
Response: We appreciate your feedback, Octavia. Thank you for sharing it with us. We are happy your plumbing issue is resolved and all is working as it should again.

nicolas wood: Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueRoto-Rooter was perfect. We needed to fix a leak and replace our faucet. Our technicien was timely and they didn't charge anything until assessing the situation. It was worth the money and our new faucet works like. charm!Service: Faucet installation
Response: Nicolas, thank you for your 5-star review! We appreciate your business.

Barbara Farris: I am so pleased with my choice to use Roto Rooter because their price was comparable to other plumbers; Mr. Chen was able to install a new water heater the same day, he was so professional and courteous, Patricia was here within 30 minutes with her infra-red camera accessing the damage, and assisting me with my insurance company for the damage claim. This morning. Mr. André and Ronald were on-time to do the remediation service. They set up the fans to dry the carpet for 3 days. Again they were both courteous and professional. I will give all of my friends my great reviews of Roto Rooter. Services: Water damage-related cleanup & repair , Water heater installation
Response: Thank you so much, Michael, for your positive comments and 5-star review about our entire team who assisted you! We truly appreciate your feedback and we will share this with them to let them know to keep up the amazing work.

Kirk Anderson: The good: Our mainline clogged and Rotorooter got here within a few hours (way faster than our normal plumber was able to) to snake and clear it, although they didn't do a thorough job and had to come a few days later to snake again. To their credit, they came promptly and didn't charge us, which is appreciated. The bad: they did a camera inspection of the mainline and told us that the pipe was horrible and needed to be replaced like yesterday and we'd need to jackhammer up our finished basement and dig up our front yard and they could do all this for the low low price of $21k! Now, I'm not spending $21k without a second opinion. I tried to get the video of the pipe from Rotorooter, but they couldn't provide it even though I paid for the service. So I called our normal plumber out to do a second video inspection (which cost me an additional $1k). They said our pipe looked totally fine and that no replacement work was needed. They said that if replacement work was needed, that a trenchless system would work way better, with significantly less disruption than digging up the old pipe and at significantly lower cost. I feel like Rotorooter was a bit dishonest in trying to push us into an expensive repair that wasn't necessary. All this to say, if you get a proposal from Rotorooter for a big job, get a second opinion. Service: Drain cleaning
Response: We appreciate your feedback and are very sorry our service did not satisfy your expectations. Please email me your full-service address, including the zip code, so that I can look into this issue as soon as possible. My email is Pat.Swanson@rrsc.com. Please also include a copy of this review. Thank you, Pat Swanson Customer Satisfaction Manager

Kevin Allen: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessGreat professional service. I called Roto Rooter for an emergency plumbing repair. The technicians arrived within 1 hour and promptly completely the service repairs. Highly recommend this company for plumbing repairs.Services: Shower repair, Faucet repair
Response: We are very happy to have provided you with such an incredible service experience, Kevin! Thank you for your review and your kudos! We appreciate and value your business!

The Home Depot: what do users think?

Triumph: We purchased a chainsaw last week. There was an issue and the associate(s) rectified it professionally. We noticed there is an improvement at this location with the overall customer experience. We will continue to conduct business here.

Heavyboy501: I come here quite often due to my job as a project manager. I come here at 6:05am and I take time to find stuff no problem. The issue lies in the staff every time I go to the pro desk to check out nobody is ever there. Today I called to ask what the availability on garden Sod was and the person working at the Lawn and Gardening section did not pick up I was on a long wait and eventually a staff member picked up I waited a while and transferred my call without telling me. Someone on the other line picked up and hung up as soon as I got transferred. I called again and someone from the Lawn and Gardening section answered the phone only to hang up on me.

Demia Roman: I went to this store today and the service was horrible. I wanted to purchase 1 bag of kings Charcoal but apparently they only sell them in 2 pks. I didn't know this because the bags on display were all individually stacked. I grabbed one and some lighter fluid and proceeded to the purchase counter at self checkout. A employee stopped me to tell me I had to buy 2 bags and I said I only want one bag. They continued to argue me down insisting that I must buy 2 bags. I asked for the manager because I mentioned to the employee that the bags are literally on display as individual bags. There was no sign stating that the bags were for sale in packs of 2. I felt the store was trying to force me to buy more than what I needed because there wasn't a sign listing the price and that they were sold in 2s. The manager eventually came over and told me I had to buy 2 or pay for 2 and take one bag. So I said ok fine just get me out of here I paid for the charcoal and fluid and I asked him if he could help me get another bag as the bags are heavy and there were no carts available due to memorial day shoppers taking up the carts. He said he could call someone to help me but it would be about 15 minutes before anyone would help. Sir excuse me? You're literally standing here doing NOTHING why couldn't you help me to carry these bags seeing as though I also had my 3 yr old autistic son with me struggling and I was struggling to carry the bag and handle my toddler who is clearly special needs! Smh whoever that manager is needs additional customer service training or needs NOT to be working for this company. He clearly ignored the fact I had my special needs child and needed immediate assistance and outright refused to assist me HIMSELF with my bags.. NEVER AGAIN will I shop at this location. Very ghetto and the store is a mess on the regular (hence the bags of charcoal not being bounded together properly on display to be sold as a pack of 2). Do better please train your staff and management in customer service and helping those with special needs & keep the store clean with items placed neatly and correctly w/price signs visible.

Bloved Adjust: Great work by Management and chasher totally took care of my experiance and situation just how a paying customore likes thanks

Benjamin Kelley: Excellent customer service... 😊The young lady the help me find Vigoro Feed and Weed, took me to the asle where the product was, the asle was filled with products just arriving from the platform, basically you couldn't wall down the aisle. Some how she got through and brought the Feed and Weed to me. Excellent Customer Service at the Capitol Heights Home Depot Store.

K A: I ordered a sewing chair online and it was shipped to the capitol heights Home Depot. The pick up process was fast and seamless. The store is well organized and fully stocked with appliances, tools and more.I highly recommend ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Restroom✅ 🚻Restroom✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Entrance✅ ♿️Wheel Chair Accessible Parking Lot✅ 🅿️ Adequate Parking Space

abigale Wallace: Today I went to get some Sheetrock and when I got there I asked them if I could rent a truck to take it home they said absolutely! So I said okay let me go grab the Sheetrock real quick and they said okay see you then. So I bring the TWO hand carts I loaded of 20 things of Sheetrock to the desk to load to the truck and they say “oh sorry we stop renting the truck at 6pm” same person I had just talked to like 15 minutes before at 5:20pm… Waist of my time and energy! Most of the people here don’t know anything about the job they are working or where things are at. This was just the last straw for me.

Layla Abney: Probably the worst HD I have been to. During my basement remodel I placed many orders for pickup by me or my contractor. Half of my order would get canceled because they “said” they didn’t have the items that they were supposed to have when I placed the order. Basic things like corner bead, 5 gallon bucket of Behring paint. I would go to the store to find a replacement only to find the original items were actually there, most times in the quantities that were indicated online. Going to the “customer service” counter for returns is hit or miss but mostly miss. I need to wait for someone to finish texting, having a personal conversation with a coworker, or whatever else prevents them from acknowledging me in a timely manner. Then the attitude as though I am bothering you by having a return or the fact that someone was too lazy to actually pull my order. I try to avoid at all costs even though it is the closest one.

Spank Detail: This rating is based my personal shopping experience with an associate that seems to work in the power tools department. She is VERY knowledgeable and makes all the sense when giving recommendations on products and usage, stats, pros & cons. Sadly I did make note of her name but she has helped me with my purchases on about 5, 6 previous occasions since June of 2021. She is a brownskin queen, pleasant west indian/Caribbean accent, friendly, bubbly and attentive. What stuck out the most to me is her ability to fully focus on your issue while still working WITHOUT making you feel like like you're in the way or slowing her down from doing her job. Don't you just shake your head at those employees that give you that 'I'm busy working, what do want?" attitude. Like their work does not include customers 🤷🏾‍♂️. Needless to say it was refreshing and as a business owner myself I promise you employees like these are hard to find and come with experience, a knack for working or both. Good job HD. Next time I shop here it may be for a future employee 😂 (I'll get her name and edit this post she needs her shout out!)

Lady Wyatt: Not crowded. Had an issue when doing self check out with the machine, but a very helpful, kind, understanding and professional young lady provided the assistance needed to complete our transaction....thanks.

Frager's Hardware: what do users think?

Fred Gamble Jr: I bought the XL Big Green Egg display model and was handled by Hannah who was so nice and courteous to me! She not only handled my transaction with a smile, but ensured that my delivery would be seamless. Kyle and Mateo came to my home and were two of the nicest delivery professionals I ever encountered. Its so nice to have a local hardware store which I can trust and do business. Frager's Ace Hardware has earned my business and they will earn yours too.
Response: What a wonderful review Fred! Thank you for trusting us with your purchase. So glad to hear such wonderful things about our employees- we'll be share these comments along to our team. Happy holidays to you!

Audrey Lester: Blind Customer: I increased shopping here during pandemic, as it’s in my community. On nearly all visits, I’m greeted at front door by a very knowledgeable staff member. I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!
Response: It's so great to hear from you Audrey, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're so glad our staff provide exceptional customer service that makes shopping a pleasure. Thank you for being a customer- we look forward to your next visit!

Amy Chiou: The people here are so nice and helpful. They always know where to find things in the store. It's a classic hardware store with the added bonus of fun and quirky household goods and gifts.
Response: We love quirk! Thanks for shopping with us over the big boxes, we are glad to have customers like you who shop and support local.

Michael uthe: The store with more. Walked in and thought was small. But as I got farther in it opened up to huge room with a downstairs and outdoor garden section. Truly awesome and amazing staff.
Response: Hi Michael! Thanks so much for the kind words and for shopping local! We love that you had such a great experience! Our team looks forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Hope Greenleaf: Great shop with a large selection of plants, gifts, household items, and hardware. Friendly helpful staff!
Response: Thanks for choosing Frager's Ace Hardware and for leaving such a great review, Hope! It's good to know that we were able to provide you with a great selection and the highest level of service. We look forward to your next visit!

Stephanie Sneary: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store often carries products you can’t find at larger stores— for instance I recently had need for a shorter length of 14/2 electrical wire that I found here.
Response: We love to hear that we can outsource our competition! Thanks for shopping and supporting Frager's.

koura Gibson: Disappointed to be rudely treated for “walking into store” before opening. The door was wide opened and I entered only to be charged aggressively by the 3 attending employees, shouting for me to exit. I had to calm them down of their excitement to reprimand me for entering the store. There was no indication that the store was not opened. No hours were posted ether. Then the older guy rudely and aggressively closed the door as I exited. He then snarkly stated “I guess!” When informing him that 8:00 was in 14 minutes. It was really disappointing to have to endure such rudeness in the morning.

Al Boyd: Customer service, was excellent. But I didn't appreciate being mistaken for a thief. I had the receipt was in my bag. I am a retired police officer, I don't need too steal anything from anyone.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We hope you'll shop local with us again soon!

Kristin Roesch: William was so helpful in matching a specific furniture screw I needed for a Murphy bed. He answered all of my novice questions and was so funny and kind. He also helped with copying a house key.
Response: Thank you Kristin! William has been with us a long time, we're glad to have him on our team! We appreciate your business, hope you'll shop with us again soon.

Nathan Deunk: Very convenient location, and they've really improved the store since they moved locations. Unfortunately, Fragers employees and contractors consistently endanger the residents of the surrounding community by illegally parking on both 11th SE and Pennsylvania SE. I can't support a store that cares so little for their neighbors, especially when those neighbors are their customers.

Maryland Tub and Tile, LLC: what do users think?

Vanessa: Mr. Bill and Mr. James at MD Tub and Tile refinished my countertops. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. The prep work was meticulous and because my condo is very open they went above and beyond to carefully cover all of my walls, floors, cabinets, furniture, and even helped me move my huge refrigerator. They informed me about the process and Mr. Bill explained how to keep my countertops in top notch condition. When the job was completed my countertops looked completely new and like quartz or real stone. They totally made my newly painted kitchen and cabinets look beautiful! I requested the semi gloss coat and the countertops have a nice shine and are the focal point of my kitchen now. Mr. Bill and Mr. James are true professionals. They tell the truth and honor their price quotes. They are honest and reliable. They arrived on time and finished the job on time. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend their services.
Response: Thanks for your support

Christopher Douville: They did such an amazing job refinishing and painting my kitchen cabinets! I absolutely love how they look. Everyone was professional, hard working and such a pleasure dealing with everyone. I have been recommending Maryland Tub and Tile to all of my friends
Response: Thank you very much!

Diana McGee: I chose Maryland Tub & Tile mostly because they had an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau website with NO complaints. Now I understand why. Their office staff was very helpful in explaining the process, providing an accurate cost for the job, inviting me to stop by their showroom to view their work, and even providing a copy of the contract during my showroom visit, so that I would know exactly what to expect. Scheduling the job was easy, the service man showed up on time, did a careful, thorough job, and cleaned up afterward. I was provided with specific instructions on how to care for the new finish, and the final cost was exactly what I was quoted. This company is a pleasure to deal with, and I would highly recommend them. They truly care about their work, and it shows in everything they do, from customer service to a job well done in a timely manner. I wish all contractors were this reliable!!
Response: Thank you Diana!

Donnie Kwedar: Everything was perfect, the job, the service, and the price! Never had a job go this well. If your looking to restore, which is so worth it, call Md tub and tile.

Nicky McDougal: I'm so impressed how well our bath turned out. It's better than new!! Fantastic. Cannot recommend enough.

C. Rob: Great experience! Tub and shower area look brand new.

Sally Molaro: My tub looks brand new again!
Response: Thanks for your review

Coco Eva: Love this Lowes, they were super helpful. The lady was wonderful in the paint department. It turned out well and no primer was needed. Yeaaaaaaaaaa thank-you all.

Karen Parker: This store is always top notch! Wit in customer pick up could be better for orders placed on line. Over all , Good shopping experience the greeter was very knowledgeable and helpful. Directed us to the proper insert for what we were looking for. Cashiers technicians very customer friendly.

Dollrnia Butler: Everything was great except getting rung up The gentleman in flooring gave me tips. And he took the ceramic tiles up front. He was so nice. Needed another cashier. Had to wait around 20. minutes to get rung up. Man loading my truck apologized and was nice. Thanks

Andy Shizak: Incredibly courteous and polite staff at all the areas of responsibility! With all of the selections, let's just say there is plenty to choose from. The location is super convenient... Kudos to the staff(s) (and shout out to the door team). We will definitely return again and again and again! If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, I would. Only negative is not enough registers running...but good people are hard to find.

Jamela Love: I recently went to Lowe's to purchase a washing machine. Memorial Day was over but they had the sale extended into June. Excellent! I didn't see an associate to help me and was about to be agitated, as one associate did finally appear and let me (and another customer) know we had five minutes of help that he could offer! Then Chris arrived! He was so efficient, clear and helpful!!! I was very impressed especially since I rarely shop here and mostly go to lowe's main competitor. This day i was there just because I happened to be in the area. Chris' professionalism and thoroughness really was impressive--so much so that I knew I would write a review. But it gets even better! The reason Lowe's gets 5 stars is because of the wonderful contractor they hired to install my washer! I believe the name is Augustin and the actual technician's name was Ramon. Ramon absolutely went above and beyond to assist me in getting my washer installed. The level of service, kindness and completeness that he provided is better than any I"ve ever received while living in this home. I was so blessed by them coming through and addressing unexpected issues with class, gentleness and understanding. If it were not for Ramon and his staff I still would be without a washing machine today. They took it upon themselves to repair a rusted pipe without charging me anything additional...this is unheard of in today's time. Thank you so very much Lowe's--I am now a new customer. I definitely will come back!!!!

Patrick Walsh: Lowe's in Clinton Maryland has made drastic improvements with their customer service in the past couple months. I had some negative interactions back in July and August of last year which caused me to leave some negative reviews. Since then every time I have walked in the store, every team member that I have dealt with, has been very helpful and absolutely amazing to me. I actually enjoy going to the Lowe's in Clinton instead of driving some distance to one of the other stores now.

Ti Ow: Wow from the very first person that greeted me to the lady that helped me in the Key Department her name was Caroline.. they were all kind, smiling and made my shopping experience wonderful. She deserves a raise.. the other gentleman in the key Department were very helpful as well as I had to come back to pick up the key Finders and they were very helpful as well thank you thank you thank you all of you.

Africa Konjo: I had the best customer service ever by Adom! I was really anxious going in the store cause I was clueless and stressed out. I was cheerfully greeted by Adom. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable in the products I was looking for. He even talked to my contractor on the phone to make sure I was ordering the right products. He never got frustrated or annoyed by me when I asked him 101 questions. Thank you so much for making my experience so pleasant and stress free!

Lora Mitchell: I've been quarantine and I had to do something with my time and I've visited this location ALOT!! The staff have all been very well informed and helpful when looking for certain things. I completed a planting project and the had EVERYTHING I needed. From the pots, seedlingzspray paint and more. Ir has always been well stocked and a hassle free experience...Highly recommended.

Cheryl Davis2: I dread going into this location. A bunch of employees standing around talking until they see a customer walking their way. Then they scatter like roaches when the light comes on. They are rude and pretty much force you to have to use self service as no other registers are staffed. Then your items set off the alarm because there is no way to deactivate anti-theft devices at self service registers. It's embarassing. This location remains the worst one I've ever been to. Tip: please don't need a key made

Custom Tub and Tile Resurfacing, LLC: what do users think?

Patrick Hannon: Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueThey did a great job refinishing an old cast iron tub. Much better than ripping it out and replacing it with a new plastic one. The process was very easy and Emmy and the technician were very responsive. Thanks again!
Response: Thank you for your feedback! It was a pleasure working with you :)

Noah Karchmer: We couldn't be happier with Custom Tub and Tile. I first spoke to them on a Thursday, and by Monday the job was started, and by Tuesday it was complete. Lynnette gave a virtual estimate in minutes and was super responsive and friendly. We had a steel tub and tile surround recoated in white and a shower pan, and tub and shower tile surround recoated in a stone finish and they look amazing. He also removed our old nasty glass door and return so we could replace it with something much better. Our technician, Dennis, really knew what he was doing and worked very hard and efficiently while keeping everything clean. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to improve their tubs/showers/tile (and counters for that matter) for a reasonable price, in fact they were $600 less than a competitor who gave us an estimate.
Response: Thanks, Noah! It was a pleasure and privilege to work with you. We appreciate your business and your review.

Christopher J Bowers: Horrible customer service. They did a great job on 2 tubs for one of my clients last year but have had no luck getting them scheduled for another tub due to technical issues. The only way to get an estimate is via photo which I had to reach out for help on. Then they require a “doc u sign “ which I could not figure out. Reached out again for a friends help and did sign. Then called to give my credit card information and she said I only signed one page. UGG I am not going back to figure this out. They literally won’t take my money which I offered in full and you can’t even go to there place of business to sign or give payment.
Response: Thank you for your feedback in regards to our policies, Chris. We appreciate your honesty as it helps us grow and improve as a company. First and foremost, it is not our aim to make you uncomfortable with any of our processes or procedures. That being said, we have always provided virtual estimates through pictures, which most of our customers find is a faster and easier way receive an estimate but we sincerely apologize that you were unhappy with our paperless process and that we were unable to help you with your project.

Rahil Merchant: Just had two of our bathtubs and tiles reglazed and could not be happier. Pros of using Custom Tub & Tile: - Customer service is amazing (this is important) - Quality of the work - Patience (I asked a lot of questions and they were great with me) - Tub and tiles look BRAND NEW Cons: - I regret not calling them earlier - My wife now feels comfortable taking long baths Thank you again Custom Tub Team
Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review and post your pictures! We're so happy to hear you experienced excellent service from all of our team members :) We strive for excellence and it's reviews like yours that remind us why we do what we do!

Melissa Kenward: About 3 years ago, I had my pink tub recasted. After an inspection, Custom Tub and Tile offered to repair my tub which started to chip near the drain lever. They honored their warranty. Dennis was our tech and inspector and was only supposed to do the inspection but said he could do the whole thing for us right then and there. If was fantastic and a relief as I thought I would have to wait to get service done. Very convenient and I highly recommend Dennis for his work, honesty and flexibility to get the job done.

K SG: Custom Tub & Tile did an amazing job resurfacing the tiles and recasting the tub in my 1950s bathroom. From my first call with Larkin to the technician Angel leaving behind a beautiful finished product- the process was so pleasant and easy. All of my many questions were answered patiently and throughly and everyone I dealt with was professional and honest. Angel arrived on time and was clearly committed to doing a great job. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I used to cringe when looking at my bathroom before - thanks to Custom Tub & Tile now it's one of the most beautiful rooms in my house.
Response: Thank you so much for your feedback! We are so pleased to hear you had such a great experience from start to finish :)

Kay Johnson Smith: Our tub looks amazing!! The tub was an original when the townhouse was built in 1949, and it now looks like a brand new tub and is beautiful! We are so pleased. The technician, Angel, was extremely professional, punctual and efficient with his work. As promised, a text was sent when the technician was on his way. After meeting him, I went to work, and then Lynnette called to let me know when the work was almost done so I could return rather than having to wait around for a few hours. Another point of importance with Custom Tub & Tile Resurfacing that I found extremely useful was its website that helped us decide whether to resurface or do a bath-fitter option. It was extremely informative about the process, on what types of tubs resurfacing would work and explained that process vs. the bath-fitter or replacement options. Lastly, the communications from Lynnette were so efficient and useful to ensure we were aware of the process and pricing in advance. Thank you CT& TR for such amazing responsiveness, professionalism and efficiency. I would wholeheartedly recommend CT & TR to anyone.

J Ray: Custom Tub and Title repaired the rusted area around our drain and re-glazed our tub. We are very pleased with the work that was performed and love the new look of our tub. Our technician Dennis was very knowledgeable, completed the work efficiently, maintained the utmost professionalism, and showed up exactly on time. We definitely plan to use them again.
Response: Thank you for your review! We appreciate your business!

David Glisson: The team at Custom Tub and Tile are extremely professional and their technician Jimarr is one who takes pride in his work. Our old 40's tub looks brand new and has completely transformed the look of our bathroom for a fraction of the cost needed to fully remodel. If you are on the fence about the service or wonder about quality I highly recommend Custom Tub and Tile.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, David! We appreciate you and you have been a genuine pleasure to work with from start to finish. We hope we can help you again in the future!

Judy: Custom Tub reglazed my tub. It is beautiful. Getting the quote and the appointment was pleasant and quick, the specialist arrived on time and did a beautiful job. A small touch-up was required and they did that very promptly. I had to not be in the space while the work was being done (because COVID); I totally trusted the specialist. I love the long warranty, my tub has new life, I highly recommend this vendor for this service.
Response: Thank you for your review, Judy! We appreciate you :)

Bed Bath & Beyond: what do users think?

Don C: Rude Ripoff! Studio 3B Pillows sale for 25% off - see pic. What I wanted were marked $20. I went to buy 4 @ $15. Computer said $25, and "manager" type(?) would not honor the sales price on 4 - when they are trying to clearance things out! Rude - I say rude, because she could barely speak 3 works to me after hiding in the section for a while to avoid me. And then only after I asked for definite yes/no. Clerk was nice but clueless. Said manager(?) type would have to decide. Ripoff - I say ripoff because seems clear to me someone SHOULD HAVE MARKED UP the price before the 25% sale came out, so the next cost is about the same as the original $20. That's a ripoff ... and probably illegal. Too bad because it confirms everything I feel about BBB - should be a fun great experience, instead overpriced ripoff! Wonder why they are having "profit issues".

Jonathan Walker: I just have to give a special shout-out to the ladies in the front and on the floor for the outstanding customer service while being busy! They helped me find what I couldn’t see nor find TWICE while making sure I got the product I wanted, a product recommendation, and a great deal. I was so thankful for their excellent service and patience. Thanks a million! I can’t wait to use my new sheets and pillow cases.

Louise Watts: The store seems cluttered. Staff is pleasant and competent. Return policies are like Russian roulette... Sometimes you get lucky (holiday). Sometimes you don't (wedding gift that wasn't marked off your registry). Never (seemingly) the lowest cost. Don't know how this chain has survived.

Cassandra Doyle: Found what I needed and got and extra 5 percent off plus the 25. So 30 percent. I am loving the new membership program. I save each time I shop at BBB!!

Krl Lrk: I used to enjoy shopping here. But it is not what it once was. Customer service reps are not as friendly nor as welcoming. And the products are all over the place. I was in and out in 10 minutes, when before I stayed for a hour finding exciting treasures to gift (and keep)! When I am again in the area, I will try again to shop here in hopes that it returns to what it once was.

Monique Diop: Mad at them for not having the light on when I arrived!😆! Always fresh and delicious and staff encourages your sweet tooth!

Robert Conway: The store didn't have on hand exactly what I was looking for (sold out) but they very helpfully ordered what I wanted, and out the door I went. They really do have a vast selection of high-quality goods/products in the categories of bed, bath and kitchen items. If they don't have the item you seek on hand (for whatever reason) they are more than glad to order it for you. I really like going to their stores, it's the female version of a male's Home Depot - and their prices are usually very reasonable for the quality of the item being purchased. ("Yes" - admittedly their stores bring out the feminine in me). 👍😄👍

Angela W: Had to return a defective product. Didn't have receipt or original box. They found my order number gave me a replacement without any problems. Quick, fast and I'm super happy 😄.

Pamela Reid (Jafragirl): Bed Bath & Beyond is always a Joy and Exciting place to visit. I was in Virginia for the day and it was one of several stores I checked out.

Carlie Traylor: I had a great experience at this Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Halle went the extra mile to make sure I got everything I needed. Thank you!

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC: what do users think?

Hampus Engstroem: Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down. Friendly, attentive staff, spacious lobby and guest rooms with funky meets traditional furnishings, soaring ceilings, and comfy beds. Perfect location for Smithsonian and within walking distance to the Tidal Basin/cherry blossoms. We felt very safe walking around. Complimentary coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings - a nice touch. Several very good restaurants within a few steps from the hotel in every direction, including a lively restaurant/bar with outdoor seating in the hotel’s own courtyard. We’re hoping to make this an annual trip!

Shining Starzz: I’ve stayed in hotels all around the world and this is my favorite. Front staff was friendly and sociable. Check-in was easy. Free happy hour in the evening. High vault ceilings in the rooms, which are well decorated. Large full mirror in the rooms and little things like the jewelry box, umbrella, yoga mat, exotic animal print robes and natural soap make a big difference. Only disappointment was the view from my window.

Susan Payne: Friendly, attentive staff, spacious lobby and guest rooms with funky meets traditional furnishings, soaring ceilings, and comfy beds.

Ray Bentley: This was the WORST experience of my life. When I arrived my room was not prepared at 3pm on a Saturday! We ended up not being able to change and we’re late to an engagement. I asked the staff when and why our rooms were not ready and they gave us no timeline until I asked for the third time. Upon asking the front desk attendant was extremely rude when I really tried to be overly nice about the situation. Upon my room being prepared they didn’t apologize and might as well have just thrown my hotel card keys at me. When I asked what they could do to accommodate the issues we experienced, she said nothing. They finally gave us fifty dollars credit to a restaurant at the hotel. When we went to check out they also tried charging us for the fifty dollars we used at the restaurant and basically called me a liar until I explained how terrible of a stay I had. Going further our rooms were not cleaned the entire weekend and they blamed it on staffing and Covid issues. They did not adjust our price even though we booked through American Express travel. The worst part of all of this was the fire alarm that went off at 2am requiring the entire hotel to exit. They chose to rent out there lounge on the roof that evening to a 21st birthday party in which someone pulled the fire alarm. This place is a frat house not a hotel. It’s very disappointing because the furniture and ambiance of the space was great. A manager was supposed to call me after I checked out and I have received nothing of the kind. Worst stay I’ve ever had in a hotel and I travel for work all the time. Location and hotel furniture fixtures plus, everything else was absolutely terrible. Disappointing. Zero stars if I could.

Stephani Rodriguez: Beautiful unique hotel with a rich history. The staff was absolutely amazing! My room didn't have a microwave and my food spoiled because I didn't realize the fridge didn't work. They should also stock washcloths in the room. The night cap service was awesome and I cant stress enough how amazing everyone on staff was inside and out!

Chad Rea: Stayed here 4 nights for a work conference and must say it was disappointing for a luxury branded IHG/Kimpton property. The hotel absolutely has some bold decor choices (which I kind of enjoyed) with the furniture and wallpaper. Rooms - I stayed in room 218, the bed was too soft for my liking, and the pillows were not great quality. The room also had an unusual smell which I could not identify. The weather was in the low 30s during my stay, and the thermostat would not go above 65 no matter high I set the heater temperature (thankfully I like my rooms cold). The restaurant "Dirty Habit" was really good, the charcoal bun burger was phenomenal. The location is perfect, I was across the street from the Wizards arena, and within walking distance of a ton of great restaurants and all of the smithsonian museums. Big Plus! And I must shout out the exceptional service. The staff was excellent, front desk was helpful and check-in was a breeze. Waiting staff during the provided conference meals were very attentive. The bellmen were also friendly and accommodating. Daily housekeeping was great. And the complimentary wine (in evening) and coffee (in the morning) in the lobby was a nice touch. Overall, solid hotel, great staff, but desperately in need of a makeover.

Matthew Radomski: The service was fantastic. We were welcomed by Belinda at the front desk when we checked in. There was a small error with our reservation (used a 3rd party app) and it took them maybe 2-3 minutes to fix the error. Belinda and another gentleman at the front desk went out of their way to make upgraded accommodations for us, and ensure we had a great time. Throughout our entire stay, we were greeted by name and asked how everything was. I could not have asked for better service.

K Mroz: My husband and i stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary weekend. Kimpton properties are usually our favorite, but this was very disappointing for a luxury branded Kimpton property. The hotel felt/sounded like a frat house. We stayed in room 243, so we could here the commotion outside from the Dirty Habits restaurant; and up until 2am, there were loud, drunk party goers(im guessing from an event) in the hallway. The pillows and bed were not comfortable at all. My body was so achy from sleeping on them all weekend. Our refrigerator was broken, and there wasn't even a bottle of water in the room(had to buy it) . For the nightly cost of that weekend(apparently a big event weekend-we didn't know), the amenities were disappointing. Though we loved Kimpton in the past, this was a turn off and we won't stay at this particular one again. I'll leave it for the 20 something crowd. The redeeming quality is, the excellent, front desk staff. They were very pleasant and friendly

Vicente Cuevas: Recently stayed 5 nights at this hotel and wanted to share some feedback, both pros and cons. My stay included an upgrade, or "upsell" to the Premium Monte Carlo room. Good: Great location, phenomenal decor, friendly staff, "Dirty Habit" restaurant inside the hotel, very close to DCA airport and for being an old property, the plumbing was very good. The toilets (both in room and public) flush very loud and with similar strength to that of airplane toilets, I was impressed by this lol. Pros: Extremely expensive and I regret the upgrade. The room was beautiful... Again, my hats off to the decor. However... Bed and pillows were not comfortable at all (bedding and pillows felt very cheap and used), the room always felt warm (AC vaguely flowed in master bedroom but never in living room portion of the suite), the door that separates living from bedroom never fully closed, both TVs had HORRIBLE signal and one can barely turn on, and no microwave or coffee maker inside the suite. If I'm going to pay the money this hotel charges per night, I want amenities, a bed that feels more comfortable than the one in my own home, and TVs that actually work. It doesn't even include a simple breakfast. In conclusion, I was a little disheartened with what the room itself delivered. I felt like it absolutely was NOT worth the fortune and taxes they charged to get a room that looks very appealing to the eye, but in "practice" just didn't work. This last comment is more of an observation. I only noticed one entrance to the entire property. It's a set of stairs that lead from the sidewalk to the entrance door of the lobby (which is on the 2nd floor). Unless there is a bellman available to help with bags, you are on your own. I didn't notice any ramps for those with accessibility needs just to enter lobby of the hotel but again could be wrong.

Jeremy: Unless you have a written guarantee that you will NOT be in a basement room, don’t stay here. The basement rooms are musty and provide a view of the sidewalk and garbage cans. Staff were less than helpful as I watched guests who arrived after me get checked in. All of this well past the posted 3:00pm check-in time.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown: what do users think?

Diarelys Camilo: This place was great for myself and my children. The rooms are a lot smaller than I expected but comfortable. The girls in the front desk were very helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was that my digital key did not work during my stay and after I paid for valet parking they told me they did not have a parking space available for me. However, they accomodated me as best as they could which I appreciated. The hotel is close to all attractions but use your car or your feet will hurt! Great place to stay. :)

Susan Cassidy: The staff of this hotel are kind and welcoming. They really keep an eye on things, which I appreciate. We felt like we were safe and in good hands during our stay. We found the location really terrific, the lobby and room very comfortable. I was with two other family members, and we got connecting rooms, which made the stay quite enjoyable. Love having the equipped kitchen -- many thanks for including the corkscrew!!

Jim Smith: The hotel fit our need for an overnight family trip with the bedroom, living room and kitchen. Hilton is my first choice when traveling and have stayed at many locations and the people working are very friendly and helpful. This one was in decent condition but the staff seemed possibly overwhelmed. The room could have been cleaner, especially the couch that was very worn and dirty. Understanding that services are limited these days, the breakfast wasn't having much of a selection and ran out quickly. I do commend the manager on duty who was trying to keep everything together
Response: Hi Jim Smith - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. As the cleanliness of our hotel is a key priority, we are very sorry your room fell short of our high standards. Please rest assured that your comments have been shared to foster improvements. For this reason, we hope to have the opportunity to deliver a more pleasant experience on a return visit.

donna minchew: The staff is excellent. I had a difficult time finding the hotel and kept going around the circle and missing the street. They tried their best to help but I found a police officer that gave me directions and I made it. I came primarily to see the Panda Cub and my niece! The staff called the cab for me to take to the zoo and dinner with my niece. They always had smiles on their faces. I would stay again if I cannot find a hotel closer to the zoo.

Rachel Barker: Very nice suite style hotel. Has a business center, laundry room, shop, gym. Free breakfast is really good. All the employees are amazing! Close to metro and downtown DC! Would recommend

Kelvin Yong: Bad staff attitude. Particularly, Danielle Edwards is the worst front desk person I have ever met. Tried to check in @3:30 and was told to wait till 4pm. Then, Danielle told me to check back in 45 min with no explanation. Luckily, I did not sit around at the lobby. My room was not ready until 645pm!! Then the same bad attitude from Danielle when I get the luggage from the storage. Other staffs were professional, but my experience was ruined by one unprofessional front desk staff.
Response: Hello Kelvin Yong - We apologize for the poor service you received and for the long wait during the check-in process. This is unacceptable! We will share this feedback with our Front Desk team members and use it as a training opportunity to prevent issues like this in the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and leaving us invaluable feedback.

Amberly Nunn: I am on my first night of my first Spring Break since Covid trying to enjoy time with my family. Instead, I am spending the night talking to workers in a nightmare situation. I booked a Homewood Suites, there are two right down the road from each other. I must have booked the wrong one (the one without a pool) and my kids were devastated upon arrival. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and she said she would work with me to get it switched. I called the other Homewood and they were full, so they put me in Embassy instead, still Hilton owned. Now Homewood is not wanting to work with me and is charging me one night stay, saying I left voluntarily. While true, I thought it was with the understand that the woman at the desk would waive the night, especially since I am a VERY dedicated Honors member. I am disappointed and at a loss for words. I will now be paying an extra $450 for a hotel I will not be staying in. We had to save up quite a bit to stay at this brand in the first place; I expected a little compassion.
Response: Thank you for the review, Amberly Nunn. We would like the opportunity to investigate this further. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 265-8000?

benjamin albano: Room was clean and roomy for 5 ppl. Had issue with lock to room and it was resolved with no inconvenience. Tub in bathroom was small and tub isn't level so water stays in tub(be careful) and water does not drain fast enough so you are standing in ankle deep water.

Kristin Foy: Edit...I would like to add that the $300 was taken off and a night was comped. Also, the front desk staff was so nice and professional, but it felt like they didn't have the follow through from housekeeping. Terrible Service... I'm not one to complain, but from the moment we checked in, we struggled to get anything we needed. Parking was full, we were given the wrong type of room, we were arbitrarily charged an extra $300 that even the hotel staff didn't understand (still waiting on a resolution), our room was never cleaned despite numerous requests over 6 days, basic requests for at least towels, a pillow, or empty trash went unanswered. Avoid!
Response: Hello Kristin Foy - We are so sorry to hear about these issues you had to deal with while staying with us. We are looking into this internally. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so that we can collect some more information about your room. This would be a tremendous help to us in resolving these issues.

REI Co-op: what do users think?

Michael Brown: As a company, REI should not inflict their political beliefs onto customers. That said, they carry good gear and this particular location is fantastic. Every time I have come here they have exactly what I need. The staff are friendly and helpful and generally knowledgeable. I don’t know who makes REI branded clothes and gear, but they do a good job.

Mike R: I like this store for so many reasons. First: they have excellent customer service. Today I walked in with my bike to get my flat tire fixed. A woman approached me and signed me in. Then a man walked up to me and asked if I would like to him to park my bike. I was appalled by this gesture. Second: This establishment has everything here. I mean like… leave that bike area if you want to. You will be buying anything from energy gel to underwear. Third: conveniently located right beside the metro.

Anne Probst: Thank you Jeremy in cycling for taking care of my bike I commute on. Haley assisted and was down to earth and happy. High five to Micah in footwear who helped me find a size in a scarpa I haven’t been able to find in stores in 4 years. He’s super knowledgeable and was connecting with all the customers. Thank you REI DC!

Patrick F.: The 2 stars is not for the products, it's for the lack of service. Lord forbid you need some help. I waited forever even after pushing this button (photo) and a guy that was helping someone else acknowledged they heard me and would be coming. Still waiting as I type this. FYI, I have purched thousands from this store....sigh!!

Andrea Wu: I came here to pick up my shoes that I ordered online, and after trying them out in nature, they were too big so I came back to return and get new ones. The staff helping me was very helpful, bringing me different shoes for me to try on. I finally got a pair that fit properly, and checkout was pretty speedy too. Parking on the street might be a bit tough, but it's not too bad!

H Gill: Great store! love REI… but checking out here is always a 15 min wait. The checkout line moves at a snail’s pace, and the managers/supervisors don’t seem to care. I’ve seen customers put items down and leave out of frustration.

Rebecca Tolbert: Generally a good store, but the parking situation is currently very weird. You park in the parking deck and then have to walk all the way around a whole city block because they have blocked off the elevator and stairs. So, you drive into the parking deck and then have this surprise journey ahead of you, through a sketchy alley and everything. Just wanted to give other customers a heads up!

Ben Layton: Bike shop effectively closes at 6:30, not 7:00, since you have to get on a wait-list to get the bike checked in and the wait-list closes at 6:30. Called in advance and told them when I'd get there and they didn't mention that, so came all the way here for nothing. Turnaround on basic repairs also 9-10 days rn, which is honestly nuts.

R: Oddly enough they aren’t dog friendly yet I saw a pitbull walking around without a service vest. The area around is horrendous, good luck finding a parking spot. Really disappointed that REIs aren’t dog friendly yet their competitors REI and Bass Pro is.

Bogi Yohannes: Many thanks to Tim in the bike repair department for excellent work fixing my brake line and coming up with an alternate way to fix my broken basket being held by zip ties.Tim took the time to really give great customer service and make it an amazing experience.Thank you Tim and REI for the best bike department. You guys rock to keep us rolling.

Macy's: what do users think?

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights, the women's clothing layout displays of colors style, etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking. It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

Mike Sackie: It used to be a really good place to shop at but now the customer service just inst there and. Either is the clothes where did it all go? Hopefully one day it will come back 🙏 thanks for ever seeking new styles

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

Washington Marriott Georgetown: what do users think?

Rodney Ibrahim: Room was a perfect size for a family of 4. We had a double room + and we were anxiously waiting to get in our room after our 4hr drive. Unfortunately, even though we were after our check in time, our room was not ready and we had to wait almost an hour to finally unwind. As a Marriott member with status I expected better. Other than that the room and hotel were good. Hotel is centrally located and a great place to start the day. Breakfast in the morning is good and the staff who handle the food were very friendly. Other than the check-in snafu the hotel checked most of the boxes and we would come back if in the area.

Derek Kruger: Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be let down. Aretha, the woman at the Front Desk, is amazing. We were part of a wedding group, so many people with the same last name, but we were checked in promptly and all in the correct rooms! We got the directions for underground parking and shortly were in bed. The rooms were modern, the beds were firm, with a wide variety of pillows with varying firmness, and individual thermostats! A wand and a rain-head shower fixture, soft absorbent towels and plenty of counter space made for a deluxe bathroom. My only very minor complaint, is that the on/off switch on the bedside lamp is the same brown as the fixture, making it difficult to find.

Jessica Poku: The Good: my hotel room was excellent. I had an amazing view, a large couch, a nice bathroom and very comfortable bed and amenities. Everything was accessible (ice machine, elevator, ubers etc). I was a happy camper. The Bad: service was not great. Check-in was pretty lazy, no offer of welcome gift (asked about it the next morning and they said they applied it and didn’t need to mention it) - I thought the policy was to offer an option to members? They had a great M Club downstairs which I visited for water, and the attendant stared at me the whole time and just hovered behind me with a question on her face, until I left. It was rather uncomfortable. I also needed silverware, and when I requested I was told that there was nobody available to bring any because the staff were on break for an hour. Besides the above I enjoyed my stay and was happy with my room and view.

Kim Schaff: Aretha, the woman at the Front Desk, is amazing.

Lindsey Santoro: My phone reception isn’t that good so I could really hear her name but Anisha or Aretha maybe it was, a young woman at the front desk, is outstanding. She really went above and beyond to make a special delivery to my husband’s room for his graduation and she was so polite and courteous every time I spoke with her on the phone. She deserves recognition for delivering true hospitality. Thank you!!!

Jada Carr: Above average customer service provided by Aretha and staff. Large hiccup w room request. I booked 2 rooms in advance w the request of adjoining room and extra towels. Show up to hotel and neither request displayed in system. Arrived at 4pm (check in time). Rec'd 2 rooms side by side w/o adjoining door. Disappointing but was better than the separate floors initially offered. We were given a token for inconvenience of waiting w additional hours. Token could have been much better for time wasted w the 4 of us being displaced but ok, I guess. Never rec'd extra towels as requested but that's water under the bridge. I do appreciate Aretha attempting to do her best of her ability to right the wrong. Rooms 646 and 648 (2 double rooms). Spacious, clean, comfy, in room fridge and quality toiletries. The rooms were definitely 5 out of 5 star quality. Clean hallways, 3 speedy elevators, connected garage, prime location. On-site restaurant bar, conference rooms, etc. I would definitely stay again.

A suitcase and a baby: Beautiful hotel in a great location. In the middle of Georgetown, walking distance to the monuments as well a George Washington hospital. Trader Joe’s located nearby. Gym downstairs was clean and a suitable size, rooms stocked with towels and clean linens and shower pressure great. Will definitely return

Gary Jett: 4 day three nights stay. Overpriced average with lousy parking. They are quite good though at removing personal property during housekeeping. The area they (corporate as well) excel in, however, is taking your info and promising to have a team member reach out. Mostly no one does, but, when they do it is to take your info and promise to have a team member reach out to you. Oh, they also hope that you had a pleasant visit.

Rose Riley: Very clean, courteous staff, and good room sizes. We enjoyed our stay with the family. I have included some pics of the room to include the view from our window. The Marriott never disappoints.

Conrad: Nice hotel. Easy check-in, nice lobby, clean room. Put the do not disturb sign on your door so the room services lady doesn't knock to see if you're still there at 8 am

Costco Wholesale: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: Who doesn’t like Costco. It’s filled with stuff we really don’t need, but when we see it we justify why we want it and figure out the rest later. The tire center crew is very helpful and I have bought car batteries from here as well. The ease of rerun for items is really good and the process is very streamlined. I like the selection of items and it’s generally well staffed. I don’t have to wait too long in line before checking out. The gas prices are the best I’ve seen in the surrounding areas. It’s usually a win whenever we visit.

George Owino: Clean location, Friendly staff/employees Awesome prices 💰 🤑 💸💸💸 Lots of premium liquors/ wine ciroc, Hennessy, grey goose, tequila an etc🍾🍷🍸🍹🍺 Fresh produce apples, pears, peaches, onions, grapes, watermelon, lemon, oranges, strawberries, carrots, avocado, broccoli, cucumber🍇🍉🍊🍋🍏🍎🍑🍓 🥝🥑🥒🥦 🥔🥕🌽 🍍🍌🍋🍊 Go early...less lines...less people...less germs Lots of selections 🕢🕣 Plenty of parking🚘🚔🚖🏍🛵🏎🚐 Hot dinners ready for the table Awesome gas prices 🚘 💰 🤑 💸

Anthony Stewart: A bit crowded, but great just as every other Costco. If you haven’t been a member for a while, now is your time to go back! Things have only gotten better! Pretty easy to reach by public transport if one doesn’t plan to get much (and traveling by bus and metro forces one to be a bit more circumspect in one’s purchases). Will be returning monthly and already know where to find great holiday essentials. Hadn’t had Costco pizza in years, and it really hit the spot. It’s one of the few places in the country where a meal and a drink can still be had for under $3!

Oceanie De Silva: Love Costco and specially this DC one as it’s the only one that sells Liquor in the whole DMV area! We find some great items- coconut water from Sri Lanka, Dutch ovens for a great price! Hard Liquor and wines and beers etc amazing collection!! And great prices too! The Japanese whiskeys are a treat and also some fine wines from France and Spain! Also the service is great and efficient! Even though it’s always crowded you move fast!! Become a Member and come over to the DC one!

B. Lipkowitz: This is a great store for just about anything personal, business, and corporate. A courteous, efficient staff is ready, available to serve, offer samples, or assist along well stocked aisles of both the familiar and upscale. Libations, anyone? The A+ "adult beverage" section has an exceptional array of wines and spirits.

I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: Its always a pleasure coming into this Costco to see the workers with great customer service. They are friendly and kind. The selections are wide and many. I really like this location and it’s close to home.

Jneen Pas: The lines were long but the cashier was polite. Then my reciept didn't print at the register and I had to wait an additional 20 mins for them to bring me a printed reciept from the back. Made my rating less.

Hannah Solomon: I'm just reviewing so they'll read this some day on beach too sandy water to wet. It's what you expect. At one point in my life I lived on the rotisserie chicken, miracle noodles, and bell peppers. 10/10. Return policy is clutch for trying out new stuff too.

Virginia Donnelly: I love this placeThe wine and alcohol in DC are the cheapest price around. Definitely has great bargains. You just have to have the space to store it or the mouths to eat some of the good items before they spoil.

Cynthia Smith: Some staff are rude, I believe that everyone needs to take the time and rate this store, I was one of those who instead of addressing the rudeness, i thought maybe some one else can address it but if we all think this way, then we are all going to get stuck with same rude people. I finally had enough, I addressed the problem. The store need to train staff on cultural sensitivity. Some cashiers bully customers, sad part too much hatred in this store. Hope the corporate sends people from headquarters and experience the hate maybe this store can turn for the better..the store have a good seafood manager. He listened to me while i was looking for a manager to address the bad treatment i received. Costco we want to be welcomed in your store

Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf: what do users think?

P Taylor: Front desk, valet was great. Location was good and the hotel was aesthetically pleasing. The other reviews mentions the housekeeping duties being less than satisfactory and their right. I requested towels and toiletries and they never came. I requested the room to be cleaned while me and my family was out and it was never done. I watched the staff check rooms for room service (I happened to return while they were cleaning) and they never stepped foot inside. Then I had to chase them down for those extra towels. If it weren’t for that , this place would have 5 stars.
Response: We are so sorry to let you down, P Taylor. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about these issues. We strive to deliver exceptional service, and we missed the mark. We will work internally to make adjustments and improve our service and guest experience. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 484-1000 to learn more?

Shilpa Reddy: This is the worst Hilton that I have stayed at. My husband and I called our third party booking company and this Hilton to let them know that we would be checking in late as we had an overnight flight. We were told that this was noted on our reservation and not to worry. When we arrived for check-in, we were “greeted” by rude front desk staff. This person simply did not want to help us and told us he couldn’t find our reservation. Made it seem like this was our fault. Eventually, the reservation was found, but our request for a city view that was booked ahead of time was not met. We waited for two days despite calling twice to have our room cleaned. The front desk said that they weren’t sure what happened; but that they “dropped the ball”. Housecleaning was still cleaning and the front desk said they would check if they could come and clean our room; but then said that it was not possible and made us wait another day. We requested cups or glasses to drink water in since our room had not been cleaned and no supplies had been replenished. We waited 45 minutes and when we called the front desk were told, “we don’t provide glasses, but if it makes you feel better, we can”. What kind of response is this? Plastic cups were eventually provided. I have never seen such lousy guest service. The bedsheets slide off the mattress and there is no real duvet cover. We are Hilton rewards members and were told that we would not get points. We won’t be returning to this hotel.
Response: Hi Shilpa Reddy - We value you as a Hilton Honors member. Please accept our apologies for your unpleasant experience. Customer service and cleanliness are key priorities for us, so we're disappointed we fell short here. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so we can look into this further. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for staying with us.

Catherine Poisson: This whole stay was strange and I should have taken the poor reviews more seriously. We used our Hilton Points to book a deluxe king room for a few days to visit DC. Upon arrival (more than an hour after check-in) the front desk staff informed us that they did not have a room ready or available for us. We’re flexible so we said okay, but they offered a different room - two king beds. We were just grateful to have a room, otherwise what would we have done? Waited in the lobby like others with our suitcases hoping for a room in the next few hours? So we take it, provide our credit card for incidentals, and head to our newly assigned room. The room was somewhat strange: they painted around the tv, the sink drain stopper was dislodged and did not work, and on the first night there was an extremely loud boom that woke my husband and I both up, called the front desk, and they said everything is fine. We genuinely were concerned enough to leave and stay somewhere else but ultimately decided to stay since it was the middle of the night. These things happen, no problem. The location was great and they actually have a pool which we didn’t know so that was a plus. Fast forward to today, a week after our trip, we see we were charged more than $800 (our room was already fully paid for using points), and also a miscellaneous $200 is pending. We call Hilton and after 30 minutes on the phone they say it was a room “upgrade”. With what we already paid, I could not imagine paying $1,800 for our “upgraded” room for three nights. Obviously we will not be paying this. A case has been made between our Hilton credit card and the hotel which we’re hoping has a positive outcome. I just want to warn others of our experience and the possible fraudulent charges, which result in the guest having to take time out of their day to correct hotels mistakes.
Response: Hello Catherine, First and foremost, please allow me to extend my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience you suffered as a result of the issue you experienced with your room type. I understand how frustrating this must have been for you. In regard to your points reservation, this specific reservation was not reserved with points on our end. I would love to connect with you via email and go over your concerns during your stay. My email address is wesley.tan@hiltondcnationalmall.com and I look forward hearing back from you. -Wesley

Robert P: Good location for visiting the mall but not convient to downtown for restaurants or shopping. Meeting family so booked a two bedroom suite. Very strange set of rooms. No dressers, desk, single chair. Only small hand towel rack in bathroom, no place to hang bath towels. No place to put clothes since no dressers. Had to call down for hangers, robes, luggage racks, extra towels. Room rate included access to "executive lounge" (free breakfast, evening drinks and snacks) but on check in told it was closed due to "Covid precautions", which was total BS since the bar was open with people sitting elbow to elbow. There are better places to stay in DC for what we paid here!
Response: We are so sorry to let you down, Robert P. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about these issues. We strive to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it sounds like we fell short. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 484-1000 so we can follow up with you further?

Sean Ragusa: Everything about my stay was painless and comfortable. Check in was easy, in fact I was able to secure an early check in for my early arrival. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The room was spotless, shower was amazing, and the bed was so comfortable. I didn't have a great view, but being so close to work and to the Wharf made that a minor inconvenience. I would stay here without a second though, again and again.

Mike Maynes: Let’s start tomorrow with the positives. This Hilton has a good location for DC Metro as most lines connect under the hotel plaza. It’s about 10 minutes (walk)to the Mall and 10 minute walk to waterfront. Our room had two king beds and a large shower. Make sure you pick a North facing room to see some monuments. The negatives include overpriced breakfast at the hotel restaurant (low quality fruit), no bathroom fan, and all of the L’enfant plaza restaurants and shops close late afternoon when the business crowds leave. They are also closed on weekends. Plan your dinners accordingly. Overall, the place was OK, but underwhelming.
Response: Hello Mike Maynes - Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know where we fell short. We will make every effort to ensure we do better in the future. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so we can follow up with you.

Tu Le: the location is great and everything is within 1-2 miles which is all walking distance. the room was very spacious and sanitary, the shower was fancy and everything was nice. also, we left our bag unattended to and thought someone stole it, the manager let us look through the security cameras and we were able to see that no one took the bag but we accidentally forgot the bag in our room so they gave us a spare key to grab our bag. great service, highly recommend this place :)

Andrea Wunderlich: You are on your own once you check in . Asked for a quick towel change both days and neither was accommodated, had to follow-up when we returned to the room late at night with tired kids who needed showers. I understand housekeeping is on a "request only" basis but when you request it two days in a row and it is disregarded both times its rather annoying. Hotel had a great location and rooms were updated and clean when we checked in,

tk Torres: READ BEFORE YOU BOOK !! I don’t recommend to stay at this hotel, I wish I had read the comments first. My room had stains on the wall. The restaurant menu has a few options. Be aware that they charge you a deposit of $100 for each night AND MOST IMPORTANT at 4 am we had to wake up because of a fire alarm and we had to wait in the shops downstairs, also it seems that this usually happens in this hotel because I was reading all the comments from the previous month and two years ago and others People had the same experience with the fire alarm, I find it a bit strange and disrespectful for a 4 star hotel. There are better options around.
Response: Hello Torres, Thank you, for taking the time to share your feedback. Please accept our sincere apologies that your stay was not up to your standards. This is not the service we wish to provide to our guest. We do understand that the fire alarm going off was a huge inconvenience. The alarm that went off was not technically for our hotel. Due to the hotel being connected to other buildings it impacts our hotel as well. I have noted our engineering regarding the stains on the walls. We hope that if your travels bring you back to DC, that you will allow us another opportunity to serve you. Thank you, Management

Carlos Gonzalez: The staff were consistently friendly and the location is phenomenal- these are the only two things saving this hotel from failing completely. The beds are rock hard, in-house Starbucks is open for very limited hours, restaurant is nonexistent- never open. Also, for being a 4 star hotel, details matter. For instance, the room fridge was raised on a make-shift shelf and didn’t open without the whole unit completely coming out on your foot, one roll of toilet paper was given to the room, and (btw) the building had two full evacuations due to false fire alarms at 2:30am in a five day span - (two, what!?!) and no acknowledgement to guests - particularly with young families - about the inconvenience, no thought to offer free coffees or bar credit (for instance) the following days as a good gesture. Stay away if you can.
Response: Hi Carlos Gonzalez - Thanks for taking the time to drop us some positive feedback regarding our excellent location and friendly staff, but we're sorry that the rooms didn’t quite match your expectations. It is our goal to make sure you have the most exceptional guest experience possible and we apologize that we fell short during your visit. We’d like to invite you again to our hotel and experience an improved stay. If you have any further concerns, please share them with us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or (202) 484-1000.

Cambria Hotel Washington, D.C. Convention Center: what do users think?

Chance Callahan: This was a mixed experience, but there were some major issues that led to my rating. Check-in was quick and the front desk staff was great. We got to our room, only to discover there was no hot water in the room. They quickly changed us to another room and the housekeeping supervisor was kind enough to help me with my luggage. When the supervisor and I got to the new room, we discovered there was no electricity going to that room. They quickly got us switched to a third room which was an upgrade from what we got originally, but that room didn't have any cold water. The housekeeping supervisor was able to repair the issue from outside the room, but despite the amazing effort from the staff to straighten everything out I can't in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone when there are three major electrical and plumbing issues back to back. The hotel manager gave a verbal commitment to refund us for the stay though, so factoring in the good faith efforts from everyone involved to make sure we were treated fairly, I will give them a two star rating. Once the refund refund comes through we will update the review and rating.
Response: Dear Chance Callahan, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay. I immediately became disheartened when reading your review. I’m sorry we didn’t provide the high-quality accommodations you expect and deserve when staying at a Cambria. What you experienced is not typical. Rest assured, your comments have been conveyed to upper management and will be addressed. Your satisfaction is important to us and we hope you’ll give us another opportunity to make your stay the best it can be. Best, Aaron Caple General Manager

April Carter: Staff was absolutely wonderful... at least the ones that I encountered and engaged with. The location was great and made walking easy. My room was just okay and didn't appear as clean as expected. The bed looked slept in and had a stain, but I was able to quickly get the bedding changed. The shower had stains and residue from previous users (shampoo, hair color, soap, etc) and felt sticky. The room was very spacious however. The noise level was minimal.
Response: Dear April Carter, We aim to impress, so I'm sorry that your visit was just okay. Your comments, which highlight some successes and areas for improvement, are welcomed as they foster change for the better. Thank you for taking the time to share your review. Sincerely, Aaron Caple General Manager

Amanda Fansler: Easy online reservation process. Room was clean and actually bigger than it looked in the online photos. Loved the modern look of the bathroom and the large shower. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is in a very convenient and 'safe' location. Walking distance to may trendy bars, restaurants, and clubs. We were in town for a show at the 9:30 club, which is a few blocks away. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was the parking/valet situation. There was no one at the valet station when we drove by, but due to heave traffic volume we were unable to just stop in the middle of the road/intersection to go inside to get someone to help. Luckily our friends were in the lobby bar and were able to have someone meet us outside eventually (we had to circle the block a few times).
Response: Dear Amanda Fansler, Your feedback assists us in our mission to continuously improve our offerings and guest satisfaction, so we thank you for your time in reviewing our hotel. I’m happy to hear of the overall comfort you experienced while staying with us. Thank you for your feedback regarding our valet station; I have taken note. On behalf of our entire team, I thank you for choosing the Cambria Hotel Washington, D.C. Convention Center. Please visit us again soon. Best, Aaron Caple General Manager

e: I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago for a convention. I really liked it and decided to stay there for a vacation to DC. When I arrived I was told there that the restaurant would not be open for my entire stay. The hotel could have called me ahead of the stay to notify me of this development and give me the option to not stay there. One reason I picked the hotel was because as a solo traveler, I could easily get a meal especially at night. This ruined the vacation because I had to trek all over DC to find open restaurants. The pool was also closed although the website still advertises it as an amenity. The room was run down with broken furniture and a huge stain on the rug. I communicated all of this to multiple staff members and you think they would offer some sort of compensation for this, but no.
Response: Dear e, We desire to provide every guest with a pleasant stay, so I’m very sorry that we let you down this visit. We will continue to adjust our amenities with staffing levels are we move through the pandemic. We appreciate your review and hope to have the opportunity to deliver a more positive experience in the future. Thank you for staying with us. Sincerely, Aaron Caple General Manager

Brian Conklin: Be ready to get what you pay for.... Daytime staff are friendly, nighttime staff are a nightmare. Room wasn't ever cleaned well (floor wasn't vacuumed, bathroom was sketchy). The water in the shower is so hot it will peal the skin off your body - I want to the front desk 4 times in the course of a week asking they fix it - they never did. The morning server poured me a cup of coffee one morning, and when I asked her to put it on my room tab, so poured it in the sink rather than allow me to have it - stating quite strongly "We don't DO that anymore!!!" - I am sorry - but what the heck?!!! I can list a dozen times I had to just hold my breath, smile and walk away after being treated rudely, or just to have someone smile. write down my request and do nothing about it. This place is pretty run down. The upstairs deck (a real selling point for me) is a wasteland of stained, wet chairs, and no effort to make it a nice place to hang out and spend time. Lots of potential but about as poorly managed as any place I have ever stayed. I don't recommend it.
Response: Dear Brian Conklin, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay. I immediately became disheartened when reading your review. Please accept my deepest apologies regarding the poor service you received and our lack of attention to detail. What you experienced is not typical. Rest assured, your comments have been conveyed to upper management and will be addressed. Again, thank you for your review and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a more pleasurable experience. Sincerely, Aaron Caple General Manager

Stacey Kay: Fairly clean room, super friendly staff, beautiful lobby, nice fitness center. However, there are some questionable spots underneath the toilet bowl in our room. We also had no body wash in our shower dispenser and didn’t realize until I was in the shower, the WiFi operates at dial-up speeds the majority of the stay so far (we’re still here). And the website for the hotel made no mention that the pool was closed which was a huge reason for choosing this hotel, I would have booked elsewhere had I known. We also have to pay for parking ($35 a day) which is ridiculous considering I’m spending $400 for two beds/two nights here. So, nice at a glance but pretty lackluster overall.
Response: Dear Stacey Kay, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience and sincerely apologize for the areas we failed to meet your expectations. Your feedback is important to us and helps us improve future guest experiences. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughtful reflections. Sincerely, Aaron Caple General Manager

JuniperRose: Our room was spotless and everything was in order when we got there. The location is very close to the museums so it was very nice to be able to get back and forth. They have a small dining area thats open for diner and a bar. The only thing an issue is the customer service there is pretty cold. We spoke to one gentleman who was very helpful, but the ladies at the front were cut and dry. We called down to ask about checkout the morning of and she answered our question but then hung up in the middle of my husband thanking her. It’s not the end of the world but it just struck us as odd. I also witnessed only 1 waitress doing bar and waiting in the dining area. She was running herself all over trying to help everyone while 3 people stood behind the front desk. Is this normal? Perhaps they could help out with drinks and small things?
Response: Dear JuniperRose, I appreciate your feedback regarding your stay. Please accept my sincere apology that you felt you were not treated in a friendly and welcoming manner. That is not how we want to present ourselves to our guests and your comments will be instrumental in the training and education of our team members. Thank you for staying with us and I hope you will consider coming back. Sincerely, Aaron Caple General Manager

Jessica Osegueda: We booked a room block with Cambria in Washington DC this week, and catered two dinners with them. This entire team went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. They are genuine and you can tell they truly cared about the work they did. I am beyond grateful for the efforts they put into ensuring our guests were taken care of. The hospitality here is incomparable. The food was delicious and the ballroom, for both of our dinners, was ready to go upon arrival. I am a very detailed event manager and the entire staff was spot on. You could tell they all worked seamlessly together to create the best experience possible. I'd like to give the following people a shout out: OJ - Assistant GM Aaron - GM Renard - Director of Sales Eboni - Account Executive Yanni - Guest Clerk Raquel - Guest Service Manager Eric - Guest Clerk Thank you to every single one of you for making myself and the guests feel at home.
Response: Dear Jessica Osegueda, Wow! Reviews just don't get any better than this one. Thank you so much for your support of our Cambria Hotel and your recognition of our spectacular staff and the service they provide. Our goal is to provide comfort to all our guests who are away from home; your feedback allows us to monitor how we are doing. We loved having you as our guest and we can't wait to welcome you back!
