Allison Guy: This Petco might be good for other things, but the conditions their birds are kept in are nightmarish. The parakeets do not have adequate perches of different sizes, any chewing toys, and they are fed on a cheap, unhealthy all-seed diet. I also watched as a woman pried open one of the plexiglass doors and let a budgie escape. As for the parrots, well, have a look at the photo — a tiny enclosure with no opportunity to climb, chew, fly or have social interaction. Same unhealthy seed diet, water bowls full of droppings. Their heads were full of painful pin feathers because they had no bird or human companion to groom them. Imagine sitting on the same perch in a glass box all day with nothing to do, for weeks and months on end. This is absolute torture for such a smart, social animal.

carolyn jackson: My son and I love, love, love this store. We are here every week doing a fish tank water sample test. The manager Donnell in the fish dept. Is very nice, helpful. knowledgeable, and professional. He and the staff are always ready to help you in any way. It a fun store to shop.

Dani Rios: We casually visited this store and left with the best impression. The nice cashier seemed sincerely interested in learning about our puppy and gave us some great tips about the excessive chewing. We regret not asking her name, she was a nice African American lady. Thank you!

Sarah Levine: I did a puppy training class with Jen and she is an excellent trainer. She understands dog behavior and how to use positive training to get results. My puppy started off hating going into the store and by the end she was dragging me in because she was so excited to go to class. I highly recommend taking training classes with Jen.

Courtney: Jill was so helpful and informative—just got a puppy and she helped us find the right cleaning spray for accidents in the house. The store was clean and organized. Will be coming to this Petco in DC from now on!

Summer Bryant Campell: Mr. Darnell was very knowledgeable and compassionate about the proper living space, food and bedding for the newest addition to our family our guinea pig. You can tell he loves animals and wants the very best for them. Ms. Alexis, who was at the register when we bought our guinea, gave her a check once over and reminded us to check our guinea’s ears, nails and reminded us of possible bald patches that can be caused by ring worm and / or mites. She was also very caring and showed our guinea lots of love. The professionalism, and customer we experience each time we shop at this Petco keeps us coming back.

Austin Graff: We’re not pet owners, but stopped in to but a gift for our neighbor’s dog. The space is big with everything you’d want from toys to biscuits to anything! They have a pet grooming station, a dog biscuit bar and sell small pets like fish, hamsters, birds and snakes!

bFly Young: I gave 4 star because I went to buy a ferret the cage in thr store said one price and when I got to my car to check my receipt. I was charged more then the price on the cage. The man with glasses at the register told me that was the old price but as the consumer I was to pay what you had up in the store. I don't know nor seen anything about a higher price. Acted like he didn't amend the transaction u til I told him I'll file a complaint with the BBB better business bureau because they have to honor what was up in the store. After all that back and forth my daughter got to take home our new family member Dash. He's getting along with my son Bright. Looking forward to adding more to our family but hopefully we won't have another price issue next visit. An they play do well with Chinx our kitten like they're all siblings 😆

George Thomas Wood, III: Nice folks. We get our doggy daughters groomed there every 3 weeks or so. They are busy so sometimes it takes a while.

Harlan Harris: My Daughter-in-law went to purchase a fish and tank for her elementary classroom/students. I did not go in. She returned with both items, fish food, and water treatment. The wait was extremely quick--the store must have been well-staffed with knowledgeable salespersons. I thought +$20 for a single Betta fish was ridiculous, but I'm unaware of pricing. I do know I could have feed salmon to a family of four for less...

Joey Abrams: Pretty pedestrian big box pet store. Pet enclosures and tanks seem well managed and maintained. Online pickup order was ready and waiting when we arrived.

Olgamaris Fernandez: This Petco's grooming was HORRIBLE!!! Stay away. I went to pick up my dog (a miniature schnauzer) and he was still dirty, the hair cut was done with uneven scissors all through his body and face, as if it was done by someone with NO EXPERIENCE. Therefore, DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE, EVER!!! Even though they offered a full refund, it does not repair the horrible haircut and going to pick your dog to find him in such conditions.

Father Hood: The online prices are always different from in store. Once you reach your eight bag for free they do not give you your full credit which is a rip off. Will no longer be patronizing this company.

Cody Laliberte: Asked for a trim around the legs and back end, but our dog ended up with a shaved stomach and butt. Didn’t see the stomach until we had left the store already - obvious hack job with clippers that shouldn’t have been used in the first place. Nothing is straight or even, totally choppy.

Jn Clark: Had a GREAT experience at the PetSmart Dakota Crossing grooming salon. My puppy is 6 months so he had the big fluffy hair (which I loved) but it’s time for a change. I asked his grooming artist to take him down but leave a little. I picked him up and was in awe, he looked so handsome. I love all the staff!! Andre F was great, will be back in a few weeks.

august belt: The 2 batch of fish I got from them has literally only lasted a week max , the previous fish I had got has lasted 5 months so far ( a few passed ) , but now I am completely unsatisfied because I spend so much money with them, from dogs, Guinea pigs, fish . Water test strips are great. Ammonia everything I am so upset . One passed overnight , return home from work and here is the other only lasted 7 days literally

Queen Me: This has been one of the worst business establishment ever! I took a healthy 6 yo Puppy there. He went in for a hair cut came out with small red rashes all over his body. I took him home he did not eat or drink that night. Took him to the animal emergency room where they billed me $400 to say it was the hair cut! It was not done correctly the clippers were too hot, dirty and so on! I called the store and the grooming manger says oh the groomer is new and I will give you 40% off! I’m sick to my stomach! This is my child and all you can offer me is 40% and lies ! I’m so disappointed and sadden it’s been two days yet this is hard my puppy is not doing well! This my first fur baby! Never again! If I could rate it 0 stars I would do -100!

Kevin Spann: CSR's always so friendly and helpful. Good selection of merchandise and the REWARDS program is very helpful. They provide for all my dogs needs.

Algenon Walters: I took my dog in to be groomed a week ago Monday, February 21, 2022. The groomer who provided the service was Jasmyn. As a result of my visit my puppy experienced issues due in part to his cut. She shaved my puppy extremely close over his entire body and did a poor job ensuring his facial hair or his ears were cut evenly. I ended up having to take him to the Vet which resulted in a bill of $300.00 due in part to the stress caused by his haircut. I will never use this PetSmart again and certainly wouldn’t recommend her for grooming services.

Ms C.M.: I took my pup to be groomed Saturday. They butchered my baby. I notice lastnite a nick on back of his leg an his ears were still dirty an smelly. His nails were cut too low i notice blood on paw. 1st an last time using them. They charged 101.00 for what i don't know

Phyllis Harris: Groomer left a sour taste in my mouth. The whole department seemed like a “us vs them” team thing. When I had a problem they all seemed offended instead of wanting to fix the issue and suggested since I am not happy maybe I should find another groomer. Yup, I agree. ESPECIALLY when I arrived my dog was howling and cry barking and they acted like no one heard her. I know that to be the “potty cry” and they were just ignoring it. Then once I asked them to go get her so she wouldn’t be so upset while we were discussing an issue with the bill. Her eyes were still dirty and crusty and I wonder why after a bath and cut her eyes were so messy and they said it was probably from her crying and being upset without me. Goodness. I have a Standard Poodle that is spoiled and LOVES being groomed so this is just weird…they just don’t seem like they LIKE grooming.

Lizzie Sorrell: Everything in this store is way over priced. Brought some fish for my grandson woke up the next morning to find all of them dead. I guess the clean water was to much for them. Safe to say we will not be returning.

Danielle Arandia: The grooming at this location is awful. I’ve been using Petsmart for a nail trim/grind for years and per Petsmart’s website and every other location, this is a walk up service, no appt needed; in fact most other locations won’t even let me schedule an appt. Every time we go here for a nail trim, we get turned away and told to make an appt. When I call to make an appt (bc you cannot make this type of appt online) they’re “full.” It literally takes 10 min each time to get my pup’s nails trimmed so it’s quite ridiculous. My final straw with this location was finally getting an appt and then come to find out they scheduled us in Falls Church?! I’m so over this location. Go somewhere else.

Terrance Hobson: If you have a choice, NEVER come to this Petsmart for grooming. I had an appointment at 10am and they told me come back at 2pm. At 2pm, they told me to come back 3:30. I arrived at 3:30 and they haven’t even started on my dog yet! I’m never coming back to this Petsmart again.

The manager Tiffany is professional and knowledgeable. All the groomers were very helpful and nice. That's why I continue to do business with them. Way to go!! One happy customer 😀

Tamara Moss: This is the worst grooming experience I have ever had. They flag people's account that are paying customer's for leaving the truth when asked to complete their survey. I thought the purpose of the survey was for me to leave honest feedback. When leaving the feedback they decided without notice to flag my dog's account and ban him from getting grooming services at this location. To top it off, I know use a mobile groomer from one of their former employees and she does an AWESOME job. She left because of how the animals are treated by the groomers at this location. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THESE GROOMERS!!

Jc See: Do Not do their training. While in training they lost my dog. Let him run out the door. The trainer did not tell me he ran out the door nor did she go out after him. They never told management about the incident. Nor did they tell the General manager. They wouldn't even give me my money back. So I paid them to loose my dog. They won't pay me for the cost of my dog, my expenses of flyers, or hiring a dog tracker. The worst place ever......

Laura Vincent: I love bringing my dogs to citydogs for doggy daycare. They come home happy and dog tired. I love reading my daily report cards, so cute :) The staff are friendly with me and observant of my pups’ needs. For example, my dogs are in between a big dog and a small dog size. Ginsy is confident and can play with any sized dog, the David is beta and submits easily to bigger dogs, but they are bonded. One day, David wasn’t having as much fun in the big dog room. So, the staff moved them both to the small dog room to see if that was more enjoyable. It was! Since then, both my pups get the most out of their visits and are always excited to go back. The one downside is that the facility is indoors and the floors are tile. It’s inevitable their paws will be a little stinky when they get home. But you can’t blame city dogs for that! This is very common for doggy daycares in the city; It comes with the territory. I recommend using “Scrubby rinse free shampoo mittens” with oatmeal waterless shampoo or oatmeal wipes. It’s a great alternative to a full bath that will still get them clean. If it’s time for your dog to get a bath, city dogs has bathing services that are affordable. And they schedule the bath around when you will pick your pup up, so they are fresh and clean when you arrive.

MICHELLE MARSHALL: This is my first dog and her first grooming experience. I was very excited for her. However, when I got home to see her I cried. She looked horrible. All her beautiful fir on her face was gone. Her hair was frizzy, dry and wild. The cut looked very unfinished and uneven even though all we asked for was a trim. The groomer cut too close on her nose and created a cut/irritation. She’s been scratching at it ever since. Not to mention one of her paws is still sharp. I’m not only dissatisfied but I feel guilty for Putting her through this. I’ve wasted money before and can get over that but my baby is looking bad right now. I haven’t gone there to complain or argue…. Even though I’m angry and sad. What’s done is done. She will not be returning for a grooming experience. I’ve seen better work at petco. Haddassah Goldberg: I have been considering giving City Dogs a try because we recently moved to the neighborhood and they’re so close to my home, but I walked by this afternoon and they had their front door propped wide open. My dog is a runner, and I’m sure he’s not the only dog who would make a break for it if he made it to the lobby. I will be looking elsewhere because this left an awful taste in my mouth.
Response: Hi Haddassah, if your dog is a master at opening doors, we do appreciate that you haven’t brought him to try our services. We share and understand your concern for dog safety, but we do have mitigations in place on occasions where we’re bringing in some fresh air. Please come take a look inside sometime. We consider our dog customers and their human parents like family, and we appreciate the chance to talk through concerns with customers before posting a review. After our front door, 4 additional doors separate our play rooms from the outside. Our play areas are on the lower level and we have two doors in the stairwell and two doors on each playroom. We would never encourage a customer to bring their dog if it’s not a good environment for them, and we won’t hesitate to let you know. So please, come inside sometime and check it out for yourself sometime.

I love how they put her photo out front the first day to welcome her and sent videos of her in her "report card." I was able to see the facilities before I dropped her off, and everyone was very kind and clearly loved dogs. She's currently asleep, worn out from her super fun day. 10/10!

It was her first time there, so she received a free bath, an adorable framed photo, and a detailed report card. Felt very welcome by the staff including posting a welcome poster of her on the door!

Megan Bailey: I brought my dog there for the first time and put in specific instructions regarding my dog being sensitive and to go slow. I also gave instructions when I dropped him off. When I picked him up I asked how it went and they said great! He was cut shorter than I preferred but that was fine. I get my dog into the car and he is absolutely terrified. He growled at me several times when I tried to touch his tail or feet which has not happened before. I am not sure what they did to my dog but I would never recommend this place. As an FYI I also emailed them and it has been over a week with no response about this.

m.: Try to grab breakfast here whenever I'm here. No frills, great staff and super yummy burritos, sandwiches and other morning treats. You won't be disappointed.

Teknonick (Teknonick): Quick review: Very impressed. Quick dine in or out, easy spot to wait to be picked up by car, and delicious food. Large menu, not so well for off-the-street people but good to keep you coming back. Employees know their stuff and are always working to keep the store clean and help customers. Prices a bit much, but expected for DC. Plenty of decent indoor and outdoor seating. Long review: Accessibility is nice, just across the street from the Marriot Marquis. You can also wait inside or outside while waiting for people to pick you up in a car. Menu is large, hard to get a good grasp on what they have available if you're just walking in off the street. But if you like going to the same place over and over, the variety will definitely keep you coming back. Food is delicious and doesn't take too long to make. I ordered the New Yorker sandwich, and a Twilight Delight smoothie and both took about ten minutes. Staff is smiling, friendly, and quick. They're always moving and working to clean the store and help customers. Prices are a little high, paying nearly $16 just for a sandwich and smoothie is a bit much, but also expected in DC. Seating is nice and spaced, chairs off in the corner and comfortable cushioned stools. Outside tables are great for sunny weather.

Samantha Saykao: Delicious food with generous portions! Food came out quickly. An amazing little spot if you're downtown for a conference and need lunch!

Jillian Bohach: Perfect for a simple, quick, easy breakfast. The staff was very friendly and quick with making the food. They have many many options from sandwiches, vegetarian options, burritos, salads, wraps, and a poke bar. Fantastic prices too!!! Atmosphere is nice and inviting too with lots of places to sit.

Maddie Fennell: I had the Western omellete and it was the BEST omellete I have ever enjoyed! It was also VERY reasonably priced (about $8 insead of paying $30 in a hotel)! I will totally go back here on my next trip to DC.

Andrew K: Placed online order at breakfast time and 15 min later (and 5 min of waiting in the store while others ordered) and it hadn’t been started or picked off the machine. They did put it together in 5 min so 20 min total.

Sharon D. Kenny: Great service. The young ladies were more than happy to find something for my vegetarian daughter. Please was packed, right at midday, but the food was well prepared and fast.

leonidas lio: Overall satisfied from my visit and breakfast I had there. Only two points that I have to mention : 1) the cafe that I wanted was empty and they did not refill it, instead they offered me another type of coffee and 2) it's a little pricey , but maybe that's the average price that someone has to pay in Washington (I was a tourist and stayed only 2 days so maybe I am wrong with that)

Erica Merhoff: Update: received a call from the company last Thursday. Just waiting to receive the touch up paint and I will update. Had to wait 3 months for my cages. Received them and one is absolutely perfect (thus earning the 3 stars) but the second is missing a huge spot of the powder coat and also has a weird weld where the sodder material is piled up instead of flat and smooth. I emailed the company a week ago and still have received no response at all.

Spidermaiden: Just wanted to give a huge thank you to Anna over at A&E. I recently purchased one of their cages through PetSmart and had some issues with the powder coating. I contacted A&E and was referred to Anna. She went out of her way to contact PetSmart and we got the issue resolved. She is so friendly and attentive and always willing to help. Seriously some of the best customer service I've ever had.

Blu C.: I bought one of these cages from Pet Supermart. The sides and top do not line up properly (broken welded pieces on the top) and I had to zip tie the sides. This was the last cage they had in stock, we got our Conure this day also. I called a&e, to see if they would send me replacement parts. Was told "we don't deal with the public", take it back to the pet store. Which is incredibly inconvenient, when you already have your bird. I don't see any harm in helping a customer with replacement parts, guess that's to much to ask- just place your new bird someplace else instead. While you lug a whole cage back to the store. Never heard a company refuse to help a customer directly with some parts.

The Parrot Posse helps many, many parrot rescues across the continental US and it’s companies like A & E that help them to make a huge difference in the lives of many birds in need of help. I would not think of a better company to support then A&E Cage for our Bird Cage as there quality and customer service is the best!!

Kristin Weinman: My dog was first appointment of the day and they kept him 5 hours. He gets groomed regularly every 5 to six weeks and has no mats or tangles. He has had the same groomer for over 2 years, unfortunately she left and this was a new groomer to my dog. He is a poodle but they didn't clean the hair from his ears. He had 3 Nick's from groomer. Acted very odd for a week. Had several accidents, kept jumping, biting, chewing and licking himself. Had to take him to vet for treatment of skin.

Christy “Wolfie” Byrd: Dry cat food is frequently well out of the expiration date. So, even in the rare circumstance they have something my cats can eat, I can't buy it. I normally order food but it's getting increasingly difficult to get anything now so I find myself in a pinch quite often.

Ed Myers: Store hours are posted till 9:00 PM. However, at 8:30 PM store is closed. They have what is believed to be an employee sitting in the parking lot telling everyone who walks up to the door they are closed this occurred on 5/14. Watched 4 potential customers turned away.

Michael T Goodside: Good selection of merchandise. Reasonable prices. The cashier was very cordial and professional. I signed up for the email club today. Also, if you are a Giant Eagle customer, you can easily walk next door to Giant Eagle and buy a PetSmart gift card so you can get some Fuel Perks on your purchase. I will definitely return next time I am in the neighborhood and need something for my dog.

Preston Burns: We stopped by here to look. My daughter really wants a bird. We’re undecided about the commitment. As we looked around at the birds we were impressed with the number and types of birds that they had. The store is small, which I have found is typical of independent pet stores, but the love and attention that they give their birds makes all of the difference. The young birds are still hand fed with a syringe. They wait until they are well trained and socialized before selling them. They also wait to clip their wings until they have fully developed. You can put down a deposit on a bird and then wait to take possession until the bird is ready. You can also board your bird there. Kency was really terrific. She brought out her bird, Snowball, a super loving cockatoo, and let us handle him. We also held a young cockatiel and a love bird. She was so patient and it was obvious that she loves the birds. She made my daughter super happy which was such a blessing. This is a small store, family owned and operated. On our second visit we met the owner, Ed. The customer service is intimate and they are caring people. We love the store and will be back

stephanie wood: Love love love. What an amazing place! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. All of the birds are handled regularly and readily brought out for interaction with potential customers. They also help rehome birds and board birds (in a private room). All of the animals (even the rehomes) appear to be in excellent health. The cages are clean, the water is fresh, and the enrichment that’s available for each of the birds is excellent!! I cannot recommend this establishment more highly. It’s one of my favorite places to visit.

Mark Baldwin: The attendant who was very good with the birds took 5 Parrots out of the cage to see if they we're friendly with me. Having a bird/pet pick you is every reason why you need to interact with them when looking. Beau picked me. Come on June 30th!

Frances Martin: Absolutely wonderful establishment! Very welcoming, caring and knowledgeable staff. Wonderful variety of beautiful birds. My daughter recently lost her 2 close birdy tiels and we went there for a little emotional lift and support in getting through her grief. I am so glad we went. Though it will still be a hard road of grief for her, this company sure lifted our spirits and started a small light in maybe her considering a new birdy one day. Thank you guys! Yousef Alrajhi: The reason I gave 2 star because I was refer by my friend to this store. He bought cage of birds for 45$. When I came one week later they told me the same cage is for 79.99$. So they change price in one week or they gave price of cage from their head to each customer.

Sarah Khan: I wonder if Pat still works there. We bought three birds from her 21 years ago. Two of them are still going strong! They are so affectionate, they are amazing. They have become part of our family. American bird company is the BEST place to buy a bird. Highly recommend!

Brandon Leuschen: The owner, Ed, was awesome! He made me feel welcome, was knowledgeable, and patient with me as I made sure I was choosing the correct bird for me. I ended up going with a plum headed parakeet, who was very hand tame and friendly from the day I first met her. Ed showed me everything I would need, recommended a vet, and even gave me his cell phone number in case I ever have any issues. I will 100% be going back to his store for whatever I need and boarding during vacations!

Cindy Khademi: This is a great place to buy your birds. I had the best experience when I visited their store. The owner was super nice. He delivered my cage, put it together and helped me with my new African Grey adjust to my new home and cage. The staff were professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the cages, toys and of course the birds. They made me feel good and comfortable with buying my bird. They have a large selection of toys. I will be getting all my birds needs there. Awesome place!!!

Kimmichanga W: We purchased a Double Yellow Amazon Parrot and they were amazing!!! we named him Sherlock! He is very vocal and very loving and enjoys his home!!

Erich Roney: This place is awesome! I took my wife here to pick out a conure. We ended up falling in love with an Umbrella Cockatoo named Buddha. Ed is absolutely fantastic and offered to help out in any way he could. Throughout the process he's been great if I ever have questions. The prices are very fair, esp considering they handle these birds daily and offered follow up nail trimming as well. We will be back!

Spas Goleminov: Mr. Ed and his family are extremely kind and friendly! The prices are reasonable and competitive. Services like nail cut are free of charge. My family and I drove 1 hour to get there and Google maps said it was open for 11:00AM and when we got there it was closed we saw people there walking inside the store. And it was 11:00 already and we went to ask when is it going to open and they siad that 12:00. I told them that I needed a cage if they can tell me if they had it and the two people I asked just went in and lock the door keeping us outside while they went to check. It took them 8 mins to see and Call me that they had no cages. This is how stores lose money and Customers and not even one cage available and they pointed where they store the cages and it was a horrible mess in the back there was broken cages and trash. I will not be coming here anymore this is unacceptable.

Thomas aeroc: Great place. Has lost of birds and they are hand fed since birth. Amazing owner and great workers. I definitely recommend this place to any bird owners.

Paolo Verzani: exceptional espresso program. Truly incredibly gifted craftsman. When I visit from NYC I without fail come to visit this cafe and I always get a flat white and enjoy the oudoor seating they have and read my Bible and just unwind. It’s the greatest cafe with a really stunning food selection too! I love their avocado toast, it goes well with their habenero spicy jam!

Ido Simyoni: Such a hipster place for a weekend brunch. Really enjoyed the vibe, service and food. Everyone was so nice and friendly.

Sofia Diaz: We went because of the good reviews online, the place was nice and cozy we were excited to eat there. However after ordering and having paid we were told that we had to eat outside in the rain. It was not the best experience to say the least. Food was ok. I would have preferred to have been given a heads up before ordering.

Lindsay Bishop: The coffee, food & service here is fantastic! I'm a regular at this point- it's a great casual environment to work out of with excellent quality food & espresso. The vanilla Tahitian Latte Iced with Oat Milk is incredible, as well as the avocado toast & breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend!

S B: Several people behind me got their orders before me. i asked what happened; woman said sorry making your red eye now. she had two cups in her hands and couldn’t tell which one had espresso shots and which one had something else. shockingly, during the pandemic, her colleague put his nose in both to figure it out. took a sip and it was full of vanilla. returned, and she acted like this was a casual mishap—really though, she forgot my red eye and then made a it with shots of vanilla, and then just handed me a new cup of coffee on the spot without even making espresso. kind of grossed me out and i had to work way too hard for a simple order that was overpriced ($6+).

Ian Desouza: Came to this cafe because of the reviews but unsure how it’s reviewed so highly. Just ordered a couple of oat lattes, the price (excluding tip) was greater than $12. Unfortunately one of the worst coffees I’ve had, tbh I would rather go to Starbucks. The staff’s perfunctory service failed to compensate for a poor quality coffee.

Sue Loftis: This was such a cute little coffee shop. Small and not kid friendly. I had the vanilla iced latte, it was perfectly sweetened, not too much sugar that overpowered the coffee flavor. And the Avocado toast was prob the best I’ve had anywhere. I’ve never had it the way they make it but I was pleasantly surprised.

Kelvin Ofula: A typical Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of DC. Strategically positioned. Loved the interior deco and their food. The staff were once again as amazing as always and very helpful. The lady at the souvenir shop was very very helpful and friendly. I loved every single bit here. The ambiance was great and so was the music. Hard Rock is just pure positive vibrations and I always try to visit one when in an area with one. I would totally recommend.

Matt Daniel: A classic Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of DC. A great layout within what appears to be a old fashioned restaurant or bar. The rock n roll decor is seamlessly integrated into the Art Deco along the walls. The staff were very hospitable and I recommend making a reservation as you can ask for better seating up stairs or in the back. There was one tv above the bar featuring music videos of various famous rock n roll bands. The pricing was reasonable for the area and the options for food were good with large portions. I’d recommend to stop by if you haven’t been, hope this helps!

Yogis Dogie: Nice place to visit in DC. Extremely busy but very nicely decorated. Unfortunately the food is very mediocre. Looks great, tastes bland and almost always served cool or cold. The hamburgers have an odd seasoning in them that can be off putting. Fries are good but the portion is pretty small (in relation to the price). The gift shop is well stocked. The rewards program changes its guidelines too frequently and dumps points out too often to be useful. Basically, it’s a nice place to visit, but one visit is plenty.

Bailey Alexander: This was my third time eating at this particular Hard Rock Cafe! This location really stands out. It’s in the heart of the city so it’s really nice to tour monuments an things and then ride electric scooters to here and park them. Then you can relax and unwind, ride scooters back around to tour more things in DC. The food is always very flavorful and good. The drinks are always perfect. This location has an excellent modern style with lots of arts and things on the walls. I highly recommend checking this place out while in DC.

WorldofDaph: I try to go to hard rock in every city I visit and usually it is a pleasant experience but not today. I came to this location and sat down in the bar area waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to take a drink order. Considering how tired and hungry I was I had no energy to even leave. One of he waitresses at the bar looked at me and my fiancé multiple times and never came over. She was behind the bar scratching her back under her shirt and didn’t even wash her hands. When she finally came to our table she pulled out her cellphone to text someone. Having been a service manager in restaurant for years I was completely dumbfounded at the disrespect. I’m a pretty mild mannered fair person but this Waitress was awful. I will say the kitchen staff was doing a great job. They were pushing food out but the servers just weren’t running food which caused it to just sit in the window. The receipt said the waitress name was Sara. All I know is Sara needs to be demoted to hostess or let go. Upon leaving I brought these things to the managers attention but I could tell she didn’t really care. She offered to give me her card. That’s won’t do much at all. I watch the manager stand on the expo line and watch plates die in the window. Saturdays can be quite tough and she was probably tired and over it herself. All in all I will never return to this location.

gary becker: We had a party of 16 people. We went to Hard Rock Cafe because my previous experience at other HRCs was exceptional. Great customer service, but not at this location. We only had one server that rarely attended to our table. Drinks were empty most of the time. I asked 4 times for artificial sweetener and still never got it. I asked 3 times for a ice tea refill and it was refilled only once. Others in our party had the same experience. Tables around us were messy with food on the floor around us from previous customers and it was never tended to. The experience was so disappointing that I spoke with the manager on shift. All she said was that every restaurant was under staffed and service everywhere was impacted. Rather than take responsibility, she only verbalized excuses. Without even attempting to make the situation right. My hamburger was satisfactory, but the French frys were ice cold. I informed our waiter and all he did was say that due to our party size, some food had to sit awhile while waiting for other orders to be filled. Absolutely ZERO customer service. I even apologized to each member of our party for the poor experience they received because it was that bad. Saddens me that a HRC would allow it's service to get to this degraded level. Update: Connected with Sara Lester, Hard Rock Café Sales and Marketing Manager. Sara reassured me that all the issues I brought to her attention would be immediately addressed. As with any business or organization. There will be times a product fails or a process / service does not meet expectations. It happens to everyone. But what they do next is what really matters. Sara detailed the steps they would take to correct the situation to ensure future customers receive “Best In Class” service and food. Sara has regained our confidence in Hard Rock Café and we look forward to our next visit.

Arthur Hurlburt: We would give it five stars but we ate so much that it upset our stomachs. I suppose I can't blame them for that! The burgers are good, the chicken fingers are better. They are real chicken, battered beautifully. Very, very good. Their t-shirts are pricey, but that's too be expected. The brownie sundae was amazing! Big enough to share.

Rachel Cook: We had a very large group with reservations. They were not prepared. Some of the staff was great, but others were not. The food, for those who actually got food, was mediocre. If this continues, the DC Hard Rock will suffer the same fate as others around the country...permanently closed. It is disappointing 😞
