Erin Harkins: The folks at this UPS Store were beyond helpful with a quick turnaround print project I needed for work. They went above and beyond to walk me through the process and get it done much faster than I expected. I will be returning the next time I have a print project- hopefully with a bit more lead time and less stress on my part!

Flor Trillo: Excellent client services! I had to return a huge package of Amazon and the store opened on time and provided me the necessary guidance to print label and do the process! It will be nice if the label printing will be free of charge. Thank you

Myra Jones-Taylor: Mr. and Ms. Choi were very helpful and kind. The service (notarizing a document)was fast and very high quality. Their UPS store was the tidiest and most organized I’ve ever been to in DC. I will definitely go back.

Paris C: I usually only drop off with prepaid labels, so can only attest to limited services. However, this location like others in DC will charge you $3 per strip of tape to close an open package, or suggest you purchase a full roll of packing tape at an inflated price. Also, their holiday hours are not reflected online, and I am currently waiting with other patrons for them to open, which is pretty inconvenient. Their "temporary hours" sign also doesn't give a duration, so good luck guessing for how long these are applicable. M-F: 9:00 - 6:00 Sat: 10:00 - 4:00 Sun: Closed

Ido Simyoni: Got to the ups store just before they closed. I had a label already that I needed to print and the cashier (G......) told me She can’t print it for me and that I have to use the shared computer in the corner of the store and print it (minimum of $3 for being online + extra for printing + extra charge per minute+ I had to log in to my gmail account+ nothing to sanitize the keyboard or surface). I asked again, are you sure you can’t help me print it and she said “no and I have to close soon”. I’ve been using the ups stores services twice a week in more than 5 states for the last 11 months (my company has an account with them) and this is the first time and first branch that they wouldn’t give me an email address to send the label to and for them to print for me. Take in mind that they were also more expensive than any other ups stores I’ve been to (I bought two padded envelopes).

Patrick R: I’ve visited this place twice and both were extremely negative experiences. VISIT #1: The store decided to close earlier than their posted hours. So I ended up wasting my time going there. VISIT #2: They tried to nickel and dime me. I read the negative reviews before going but thought they didn’t apply to me because I had a straight forward Amazon return - NOPE. They told me I didn’t package it correctly and would need to charge me a fee. I refused and repackaged it myself. The employees are obviously trained to inconvenience the customer as much as possible. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN. If you can’t, be prepared for maximum frustration and bring your coin jar for when they inevitably upcharge you. I’m honestly expecting an invoice any day now for the oxygen I breathed while in the store.

Wendy Yu: The worst experience ever - this store is a SCAM...steer clear of this store if you have an alternative store option. They over charge everyone and even charged us individual 6 inch piece of tape (What???). If you are considering this store just be ready to pay A LOT for the most ridiculous stuff (like tape, and $30 for a small box).

Patrick Polk: I used this establishment for a simple packaging and UPS drop off with a pre-purchased UPS label. Somehow the label that was created was never used a d the package went missing. The tracking number I received from the store displayed a shipment to a random address in a location that was not my sending destination. At the end, my package was never delivered and no one at the Establishment except fault and therefore we're not reimbursed me.

Phoebe Thompson: I was at the store with my Dad last week getting something notarized. My Dad had recently had knee surgery and was having difficulty standing. The person helping us ( Scott) realized this and quickly got a chair for my Dad to sit in. He was very kind, thoughtful and had a nice accent too! Great store in our neighborhood. Mary Danzi: Sorry I could only give 5 stars. I recently moved to NW DC. I had to call Comcast to cancel and return my TV equipment. I spent over an hour on hold and when I did eventually speak with someone live, she was less than helpful. I was instructed to take my equipment to my local UPS store and they would return it for me. I was very skeptical it would be that easy. I was expecting another painful and time consuming interaction at the store. Well, was I wrong. It couldn't have been easier and it took maybe 5 minutes from beginning to end. I was assisted my a very friendly Irish man. Didn't get his name. He asked me to wait and he'd give me a receipt to show I had indeed dropped the equipment off. I also picked up a few greeting cards when I was in the store ( great selection too). Thank you to UPS for making this a very pleasant experience. I will definitely be coming back to ship things to my daughter at University. M.D.

Sally Michaels: My Husband and I needed to have a document notarized. My friend told me they notarize at this UPS store. We were helped by Scott who was very patient, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. He even offered to make copies of our documents for us. We were in and out in 10 minutes. We will be back for sure. This business is a gem in Tenleytown.

DC Explorer: Nice, helpful, efficient staff---I enjoy using their services! Just a heads up that the US postal service rates UPS stores provide are higher than the actual rate you'd get at the post office. I prefer using UPS, but when I'm mailing something cheap and I'm in no rush, I still use the post office on occasion.

Archbishop Dr Smith Abrams Almasi MDiv DD THD PhD: Excellent customer service a must go to place to rake care of all your small business need. They are the bomb.

Thayse Lima: The best! Just the best service I have ever received anywhere. The employees of this shop deserve yearly bonuses. They are very kind, helpful, and patient. Big shout out to them.

Johnathan Perkins: Usually alright, but if they print your label, ask them to put it on right then and there. They accepted a prepaid package, printed my label, and said they'd put it on after helping the next customer. I can only assume the next customer had my package shipped to their destination because what showed up from me is definitely not what I sent. And I'll never get what I sent back.

Catherine Tresslar: I have never left a review on a place before but I am so sad after this location switched the labels on a handmade gift I made for someone that cannot be replaced. An xfinity modem arrived at their door instead and now I am depressed and embarrassed and they have done nothing to help or refund my package. Never ship anything from here

Glen Bradley: The staff here are always great, professional, and attentive. This location will use their own tape for returns, which has been important for me. I’ll have the box or package slip for an online return, but I don’t have packing tape at home. Other UPS stores closer to me won’t provide tape as needed. This location does! Thanks!

Julius Foster: The customer service was great and efficient. One small suggestion is if they could install and two-door push button for those in wheel chairs or individuals who might be pushing a babystroller, like one lady was with her baby on Sunday or the person with a cart. But again, great friendly service, fast and knowledgeable. I will alway visit this location. Cheers

Tim Margheim: I visited today at a busy time, for notary services. Customers were stressed & impatient. The two reps were professional & efficient, doing their best, and funny. I'm just flabbergasted that one of them is from New York, and didn't even know what Hamilton is. I get not having seen it or knowing much about it, but... Anyway. Good work!

John Webb: The staff was amazing, helpful, intelligent, and kind. They assisted my every need whilst allowing my 3 year-old son to just be a kid. Definitely will be returning to this location for any of my future UPS needs. Recommended for anyone in the district.

Nateese S: Very disappointed in how the lady conducts herself as a business women. The lady that works there is very rude and disrespectful. This is my second time having a situation with her. Every time she is there she messes up my packages for return to Amazon. I am still waiting on a refund from Christmas. Yesterday 1-15-2022 around 5:30 I wanted to return something back to Amazon. Which only takes 2 to 4 hours to receive and refunded back to me. Today I still haven’t received anything . I decided to go back to UPS to ask her a question about the package. When I arrived she was listening to something that was very loud and did not turn it down at all. I asked her about the package and I didn’t receive confirmation. She told me to contact Amazon about my package. She dismiss me several times and was very rude by cutting me off and having a loud background. I am not sure if she is the manager or not but I have an issue every time She is there. She picks and chose who she wants to pay for tape. I had a package that required a little bit of tape and she wanted me to pay. Another lady comes in with a package that needs to be tape . She never said anything to her. This UPS does not deserve any service from visitors. Very dissatisfied with her work ethics . It’s ridiculous

Ho LEE: had a great experience yesterday with Leslie. There was a disconnect between the return code the company shared with me and it being recognized by the UPS session. She was friendly throughout the process of figuring out the disconnect and helped me solve it in a short period of time. Lord Brain: I've been coming here for 7 years, I'll even drive out of my way in DC traffic to use their shipping, mailbox, printing, and notary service. Yesterday, I had to ship my whole company inventory to California last minute, otherwise I would have lost the whole sale and dump my inventory in the garbage (thanks covid). I expected to be turned away because I needed time to bring everything in after they closed, and the other store's wouldn't take my business. Thank god I came here otherwise it would all gone in the trash, $20,000 of merchandize and a good chunk of my own equity. The customer service rep's were extremely knowledgeable helpful, gave me tips to work around the system to get there on time, and even set me up with insurance. This is the best store in the area, and I wouldn't go anywhere else, yet alone the post office (UGH!). Knowledgeable, helpful, reliable 10/10 I feel bad for the people working here, the customer infront of me were so rude and demanding, I know it's DC culture, but some people have no manners, and then make reviews on being inconvenienced 2 minutes for the store to open LOL. Don't trust these other reviewers, mental illness is 10% our the US population or 40 million Americans, probably higher in DC haha. This location is 10/10, and I've had my fair share of shipping the last 20 years. Thanks again guys, I definitely will do business again.

Robert Genovese: I'm having the same complaint other people are having with the guy working at this particular UPS store. I get it's hard to find good workers but this guy is a liability to the store when he challenges a customer on UPS shipping polices and when he is proven wrong he becomes argumentative. Please pay your workers more and get competent people to work for you. You guys are bleeding business because of poor customer service.

Brian Hasbrouck: Charged me $8 to notarize a document in violation of DC law last Thursday morning. Called the UPS store hotline and was told I'd receive a call back within 48 business hours. Still waiting and will likely just dispute the charge. Look at the owner's reviews below - this place isn't professional. Avoid this store! Update - the store just refunded me and the owner was very friendly. She told me there was a mistake by her employee.

G H: The sign clearly states 8:30am - 7pm. It’s 8:32 am and they are not open. At 8:40am this man just strolls in to open up the store, no apologies to the customers standing outside waiting on you. While inside, he had his baseball hat on, pants hanging off his behind (with no belt on) and sunglasses. He had this nonchalant attitude, like he just rolled out of bed. I don’t recommend this location to anyone!

r Taylor: I had a great experience yesterday with Harry Smith. There was a disconnect between the return code the company shared with me and it being recognized by the UPS session. He was friendly throughout the process of figuring out the disconnect and helped me solve it in a short period of time. Great customer service!

Niggle W: I been here twice and clerks are extremely unprofessional, sloppy and unreliable. The female is overconfident and she gave me the wrong price initially until I double-checked, was talking to other customers while helping me (which probably why she was making mistakes) and put some random return address on my shipping label. You have to be careful at this UPS at every step or they may get something totally off.

Annelle Sheline: I knew this particular UPS had a poor reputation. However with their move to the new location by the CVS they seem to have decided to work on improving their rating. When I went in, the two employees were attentive and handled my requests courteously and immediately. I was the only person there. I will definitely go back, great experience!

This store has very helpful and friendly workers, each time I run to the store for asking information or return or shipment, the leader in the shop could give me very clear and best suggestions and service. I don't understand why people give low recommendation that easily, I believe these workers deserve 5 stars. Do not be mean to the guy who help you, yes we pay the shipment but still we cannot do anything without their directions and help. The male leader is the best, although we haven't had a real conversation, I can see how professional he is and he is training new UPS delivery guys. Good working environment

Al Lewis: Everything went okay until I drove out and noticed the right outside mirror of the 15 ft truck was very loose and couldn't be properly adjusted. I returned and they fixed it on the spot. I drove the truck at very moderate speeds, did a simple storage unit move. Only drove a total of 16 miles, put $15. of gas in there to bring the level back to where it was when I got the truck. Upon viewing my emailed receipt I saw that they charged me a $39.15 re-fueling fee (6 gals.)!!! What???!!! I'm going back for my refund, and pursue possible legal remedies! This is unfair, and really theft on consumers!!!

Ted Hill: The truck was not clean or well-maintained, then I was overbilled by $175. After a long time on the phone with customer service they sort of resolved the problem, but I was still overbilled by $30.

Caleb Darger: I got a call the day before telling me that the truck I rented would be at a different location (10 minutes away, so not a huge deal). I showed up to the new location and they told me the truck was actually at the original location that I had specified, but the trailer that I rented was at the current location, and I would need to personally go pick up the truck at the original location only to bring it back and pick up the trailer. The staff at both locations were not helpful and unfriendly. Overall just a terrible experience.

Eddie Pruette: I had an excellent experience here. A representative, probably a manager, at this location, really helped me through a problem caused by my own mistake. The van I rented was in great shape. I would recommend this location to anyone. The after hours return process had a lot of steps, but it was pretty easy and straightforward.

Tyler Ashlin: Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They got me everything I needed in a timely fashion and answered all my questions!

David Stiles: U-Haul tried to make this as easy as possible. Driving this truck 1300 miles was very difficult. If my son moves again, he can use a moving company.

Ashley Stewart: It was very quick and easy! I decided to go on a whim, and was excited to be driving away in my rental truck within ~20 minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked that I was able to complete the return process on my phone, and the location was convenient for me.

Ray daSilva: Equipment rental process and cargo van were fine. The automated part of the process worked fairly well. What marred the entire experience was the attitude of the customer service agent at the desk at this location. She was aggressive, arrogant and dismissive of the customer for no reason at all. I understand that such an attitude may get built up over a period of time working in such a position but it has no place when you are working in a customer service position. Her attitude tarnished the U-Haul brand and soured what might otherwise have been a good experience. I know that workforce issues are affected by the pandemic and labor shortages but there is no excuse for such behavior toward customers. No, I will not return to this location. I will not recommend this location.

Aileen: I made an online reservation, unfortunately I arrived and I couldn't pick up the car, they hadn't left the keys

Cassidy Martin: Do not trust or rely on this location. Literally will do everything possible to avoid using U-Haul again after this experience. Scheduled a 6am self-service pick-up and because no one prepared our truck the night prior, when I arrived at 5:50am and tried to complete the mobile check-in process, it came up with a screen saying I would have to wait until 7am for someone to arrive to hand off the vehicle. Had to call customer service and Uber to the nearest location on 5th where the equipment I payed for wasn’t in the truck that I would be using and the access code to my vehicle key lock wouldn’t work. The only reason everything went OK was because an employee arrived early and was able to get our key for us and our equipment. Thx for nothing

Temporary Variables: Literally one of the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. The lady was not patient and extremely rude. The experience was so frustrating that we decided not to ship one of our packages. I’m not the one to complain about these things because I believe that I have been given a lot of privilege in my life. And we all have bad days. Some patience could go a long way.

nebur2k2: People are here to just collect a pay check with little effort. Had return process started on line all they had to do was scan, print lable and charge for the service. When they seen how many items where been returned the excuse " we can not process that". I am paying for the service. And no i did not get there just before closing time. It was three hour before closing time.
Response: I'm sorry your experience in our store was so unhelpful. Amazon returns are often the most complicated transactions we process for near zero service fee or commission from Amazon however, we do try to streamline the process as much as possible to avoid delay and problems completing a return. For multiple items there's often multiple reasons why a return becomes complex and might result in additional fees we charge for our services if the item is not prepackaged or labeled according to the instructions given to us after scanning the return code. I'm disappointed you were told blankly a simple "we can not process that" without explanation...there's always an explanation, good or annoying it might be, displayed for the associate to rely. Please do remember when returning a product to Amazon you're dealing with Amazon and not The UPS Store. If the return is not a simple scan and drop, Amazon provides instructions on what steps you must follow prior to dropping off the return at The UPS Store or simply request us to complete the packing and shipping at the cost of materials and time.

A Smith: No complaints... friendly staff, no wait, clean and organized, and there was parking. I found the process of showing up with 6 packages to be seamless.

If Amazon requires an item to be boxed and labeled The UPS Store charges for all services to bring the shipment to a ship ready state - printing a label, providing a box, and adding tape. We endeavor to make this experience simple.

John Leach: I went to return a tire and usually tires are shipped without boxes due to them being “simple freight”. While the store is very nice the current manager was not at all familiar on how the process for shipping tires goes (insisting I use a box), and he overall made my time returning my tire to amazon a hassle. Though his co worker was very pleasant, he (the manager) made my day just a little bit longer than desired. Just frustrating b/c this is the closest location to me. I was expecting a bright future for this store.

Mon Oubliette: I arrived to drop off a package, but I had forgotten to print off a label. Most UPS locations have an email address and they’re happy to print off a copy for you, if you forward it over. This location will also do that for you… for $5.50, “and don’t forget the .50!” as the employee said to me. Now, is $5.50 a lot of money? Not really, no. But, does it cost $5.50 to print off a single sheet of paper? Absolutely not, under no circumstances. If I had a code to scan, it would have been free! I would even pay $1, maybe even $2 (if I was in a hurry), for the convenience that most UPS stores offer for free. Fine. But, $5.50? Haha… no. Justification? An exaggerated shrug and “Hey, it’s Capital Hill.” Well, Capital Hill UPS store, to that I say, “There’s another location in the Navy Yard… Take care of yourself.”

Sara Barrientos: Let me first say I love UPS and come to them for everything with shipping and notarizing etc, this particular time I came to get my fingerprints done something I’ve never done before neither. The staff is lacking good customer skills. Particularly a woman named Shannon with the pink and blue hair. Snapping at me and other clients, it’s not like any customers were being rude or anything, her attitude as well as the other guys was just completely unnecessary. After I got my fingerprints done I asked her if I was getting a receipt or any kinda paper confirmation to which she replied very agitated saying no and that’s it and to make room for the next finger print client. SMH..
Response: Sara: Thanks for the feedback. Your concern was addressed with Shannon. The fingerprint system doesn't print any receipts. The vendor - Fieldprint - wants customers to contact them to confirm the transaction. This systems difficult, but it's part of the steps of protecting your personal information. Until you provide us your appointment information, we can't obtain any information on you, and once the transaction is complete, the system wipes your information. Orlando Lindsay: Outstanding customer service from an outstanding team of young people. very friendly staff. I have had my mailbox at this UPS Store for years and never had an issue with the any of the staff members. The staff always provide professional and courteous service to their customers.

Nancy Patterson: UPS store on Pennsylvania avenue is my default store. Easy for me to get to and the people are so nice. While it's a busy place, I seldom have to wait more than a few minutes. Amazon returns are so easy there. When I send packages (that aren't Amazon returns) the staff is pleasant, patient, and very clear about pricing, shipping requirements and delivery.

Nora Tabori: Extremely inefficient, both staff the a automated messaging system provided inaccurate information about availability, especially related to their notary services. I have gone three separate times being told that the notary would be available and they have not been. Especially when trying to get legal documents signed this is a huge disservice. Do not recommend anyone tries to use this UPS for a notary

Three new employees have all started the 3 to 6 month process for DC to approve and certify them as notaries. This leaves us with on part-time employee has limited hours and a varied schedule. Rac quel: The staff at this location provide the best customer service. They are friendly, helpful and attentive. This is the only UPS store I go to for mymailing needs.

Kenneth Wiseman: It's small and busy, so a little wait is to be expected. You would think this was the cargo terminal at the airport. The staff makes the best of it. Not a wide selection of items and this is a place that a lot of local offices use for moving goods. Normal UPS prices and procedures, only reliable option on this side of the Hill. A little patience goes a long ways to getting things done.

callmeari: I don’t usually do this but if your thinking of getting fingerprinting done at this location don’t! The guy told me to wait and it should take about 10 minutes to get it ready. I had no problem with this so I waited……..and waited. I ended up waiting for a whole hour when there was nobody even ahead or behind me. I had to reschedule my appointment but with a different location. I hope I have a better experience there. Oh and my appointment was at 2pm and I got there around 1:30pm so I even asked if I should come back at 2 and he said no so there’s really no excuse sorry

Luke Penella: Absolutely terrible place to shop!!! Stay so far away from this business. I was ready to buy a $7k IWC watch of my dreams. I’ve been looking for this model forever..I had the cash in my pocket. I got a phone call at the store confirmed by the client I just made a huge business deal!!!! I just found out I made over 1 million $ from an artist from the the night before. Of course i was a bit excited. They didn’t like my energy and had security escort me out?!!?! If you find yourself in this joke of a business find the sales person George he was fantastic!!! I’d give this place negative stars if possible. I’m in the music business. I’m a nice kind human being. This is first review I’ve ever wrote. I came back later in the afternoon to buy the watch as it is my dream piece but the only sales person George that had a soul was at lunch so they lost a 7k sale.. please don’t shop at this horrible place

Shahin Yousefzadeh: I’ve always felt a sense of warm welcoming here from the first moment I visited a few months ago. From the man greeting me to my right when I first walk in, to Brian the most helpful and kind person that guided me through my experience, and to Matt the owner who makes you feel like he just welcomed you to his own home. The quality of service and attention to detail working with Brian is beyond what my expectations were. This has to be the first and only place to come when seeking to purchase jewelry, watches, or gifts to build memories with loved ones.

P B: I understand the current watch market and luxury goods market - there are waitlists and backlogs of orders, I get it. My experience with TJB was bad enough for me to spend the time to write a review. I tried to purchase a Rose Gold Rolex watch from this store and knew I would have to wait several months but was told no waiting and instead I needed to “purchase other low desirable items first” to “build a relationship with them”. I don’t think that’s how Rolex wants it’s retailers selling their watches, forcing customers to buy other brands first. I was offered an ugly undesirable Patek and told I had to buy it if I wanted any chance at my Rose Gold Rolex. I of course passed. Liljenquest & Beckstead (further away) did not do this with me and added me to their waitlist and sold me a different Rolex model without requiring me to buy anything else from them. Stay away from TJB and their unprofessional greedy sales tactics.

Adam: Fantastic experience from each employee I have met there. But more specifically, my wife and had a wonderful shopping experience with Brian Ehteshami when we tried on and later purchased a Rolex. From the time we first visited to when the GMT became available, Brian displayed professionalism, an excellent sense of humor, and set realistic expectations for a brand in high demand world-wide. I have confidently recommended and will continue to recommend TJB to others for their great service, extensive selection of Swiss watches, and high quality jewelry.

Robin Arteaga: tl;dr: I recently visited Tiny Jewel Box (TBJ) to try on a few Rolex exhibition references. While I left empty-handed, I had a great experience with the help of Brian Ehteshami. Review: I've been searching for a Rolex Oyster Perpetual in black dial (ref. 126000) since right before the Rolex market took a sharp turn due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I've contacted nearly every AD in the DMV for assistance in acquiring this specific model. While a handful of ADs responded to my inquiries, Brian Ehteshami was the only one that (1) called me back, (2) exchanged emails with me, and (3) invited me to visit their store to try on their exhibition watches. I had a great time trying on an OP, Datejust, and Explorer at TJB. Brian answered all my questions without issue, and his professionalism and friendly demeanor made my first visit to an AD an enjoyable experience. I look forward to giving my business to TJB in the (hopefully very) near future!

Tulane Grad: This used to be my favorite watch and gifts retailer. I've spent more on gifts than watches! They stopped selling and servicing TAG Heuer watches (because of too many competitors? 27 or so??) and too casually referred me to another jeweler in Arlington with less than stellar reviews. So where to take my three TAG watches now that all need batteries? All have more sentimental value than $ value. What brand will Tiny Jewel Box discontinue next? I had new batteries installed in three other less expensive watches none the less. Picked them up on January 7th. The battery in the Shinola watch has already died in less than one month!!! One less person shopping in downtown DC...imagine that...I will miss you, George.

Lauren Secor: I cannot recommend Tiny Jewel Box enough to my friends, family, and colleagues. Be it 'thinking-of-you' gift or a significant piece to bookmark a great achievement, look no further than TJB. I have made several purchases here; from (my favorite) Alex Sepkus pieces to a very special gift, my experience shopping here has never been anything less than stellar. Particularly; I want to thank Brian E. for his professional and courteous customer service- it's bar none. I worked with him to source an in-demand piece that was not only an awesome gift, but also incredibly meaningful. Brian made it happen. I would also be remiss to not mention Monette C. who is wonderful! I feel like I am treated like family when I am in store, and am always greeted warmly. TJB will forever be my go to jewelry store no matter where we live, and I feel the loyalty is reciprocal.

John Fritz: I'm a watch collector with a few high end pieces and have never been treated more rudely. Once they stop carrying a brand good luck getting any semblance of service for it (Tag, Longines, etc). They outright lied about the volume of Rolex models coming in and out of the store blaming the AD list. Insisted that any inspection or modification of a watch (including band sizing and validation of authenticity) would be a full service charge of several hundred dollars when other ADs do it as a complimentary service. Just avoid overall and go to the Tourneau in pentagon city.

I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. koura Gibson: Disappointed to be rudely treated for “walking into store” before opening. The door was wide opened and I entered only to be charged aggressively by the 3 attending employees, shouting for me to exit. I had to calm them down of their excitement to reprimand me for entering the store. There was no indication that the store was not opened. No hours were posted ether. Then the older guy rudely and aggressively closed the door as I exited. He then snarkly stated “I guess!” When informing him that 8:00 was in 14 minutes. It was really disappointing to have to endure such rudeness in the morning.

Esfandiar Bandari: I felt sorry for the woman that answered the phone last time I called. This place is run by donkeys, no disrespect to donkeys. It is a UPS drop off, so not easily avoidable. I am holding back on contacting UPS and the people I know. They told my daughter TWICE that they did not have a gift I had bought her. I contacted the vendor and they put a lost or stolen tracking on it. She had the UPS ticket and I tracked it through UPS and it was there. When I called, them, the... guy... that answered was LOUD and asked me if I was sure that I have the right place, even before I asked my question!?! He did not want the ticket number or the UPS code, but my daughter's name! When I told him, he shouted if there is a package for her, and some other moron immediately yelled back yes it is! When my daughter went back they Again told her the package is not there! She said she is not leaving and Then they gave her the package. I called them back. They would not pick up the phone. Finally a young woman picked up and she seemed resigned with a bunch of 'ehhhems' and "ya"s. It's not that hard to have UPS not give them any business or go viral on their rear ends. But I really felt bad for her.

Nicole Mitchell: I spoke to another professional in the PO Box industry that I have done business with for years. I am now out of state and he continues to give me great service!!! THESE MEN ARE THE NASTIEST PEOPLE. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MAIL. SERIOUSLY. THE HATE I FELT FROM THEN TODAY WAS SO HURTFUL. I WAS NOT WRONG TO BE UPSET THAT YOU WERE CLAIMING TO HAVE LOST MY MAIL. WHICH MIRACULOUSLY APPEARED WHEN I SAID IM GOING TO CALL AUTHORITIES! I’m going to do as promised and write the better business bureau about this company. Also consumer affairs. Your reviews all show that you lose mail regularly. Brendan Lane: I used this as a UPS access point when my usual location was closed, and I will never be going back. The owner was incredibly rude and scolded me for waiting to be served. He was sitting in the back attending to other business, so I waited for him to have a free moment. He yelled that I should move over so that I be served faster (I am unsure what he meant by that). When I said I saw him sitting in the back doing other things, he said that I shouldn't tell him how to run his business. He clearly was just in a grumpy mood and was lashing out by assigning other meaning to my words. There is no reason to take out his personal anger on customers. I would recommend going to the CVS UPS access point on 1st Street NE. The staff are always helpful and willing to answer any questions I have.

Rick Hendrik: Good Store. Owner is smart, sharp, and moves fast -- which can create a negative impression (unfairly though). Just be direct, patient, and polite, and you'll get fast, good service. Store is most convenient UPS drop-off location in H Street Corridor -- just make sure to get receipt when you drop off packages.

Kiow_ Physics: We dropped off a UPS package and received a receipt. They lost it the package and it was never handed over to UPS. The owners were rude and could care less. They told us to wait a day and it would show up. Never happened. This is NOT the first time this has happened to us.

Cheryl Lovelady: I dropped off my Amazon return package at this location. When I asked for a receipt I was scoffed at by the male employee. One month later, my return package has not been received and my money has not been refunded.

Hannah Hudson: This place is a great place to send and receive packages. We constantly had our packages stolen from our house and now we have them sent here. They log each package in and I can see it on my app. Great and easy system that has solved a huge problem for us.

Sandra Alcala: Worst customer service both by phone and at this location. Not only did FedEx not properly clear an international package, which is a national security issue, it sat for days on the shelf at the facility and only when I tried to pick it up in person did they realize the problem and said they could not give me my package and, worse, would possibly need to send it back to Memphis to get cleared!!! Just gross negligence, lack of customer service or basic knowledge or understanding about how this could be resolved. Both extremely frustrating and terrifying at the lack of professionalism and basic understanding of this issue displayed by all employees. Holly failed as a front desk worker and the manager Orlando failed as a “manager” to follow up on how to address this issue.

Oliver Clayton: Rude staff refused to release my package after proving that I was a rep for my company and specifically there to get it. Had to have my boss and his boss come to pick it up, wasted most of my day to be disrespected while the horrible people behind the counter went on a power trip. Even the manager was extremely disrespectful and talked down to me like I was stupid. I’m cancelling payment on my credit card as well since I paid for 2 day and it was late. daniel scott: I ordered a Nectar mattress and the tracking info was not correct and when it was finally delivered it was dropped at the bottom of my steps and I received no doorbell ring, knock, phone call, or text message, despite signing up for alerts. Fortunately I saw the package on my steps shortly after it was dropped off. I had just received the Nectar bedding from UPS and they rang the door bell to inform me of the delivery.

Jessica Long: I had to pick a package up here after they weren’t able to leave it at my home. The entrance is on Eckington (sp) so don’t turn left on Harry Thomas Way because that’s a service entrance. But the guard there was very nice and redirected me. You’ll need your ID to get into the parking lot because there is a guard at the main entrance screening entry. Once in the parking area, you can go to the left where the customer parking area is. Then when in the store, the attendant was very kind and helpful. It took no time to get my package. I was worried it wouldn’t be there yet, but it was.

Corey Pearce: This is the worst experience I have ever had trying to get a package, the App doesn't work properly, it told me my package was delayed but then I got a message that said delivery was attempted. they also said I could pick it up between 6-8:30 at the ship center however I wait for 2 hours in that time frame for 3 days and its never there! if I could give 0 stars I gladly would. this place all of FedEx and its employees deserve 1$ an hour.

Queen Qutee: Fed Ex is the worst!! They don’t care about their customers. I don’t understand why they are still being used as carriers. Last week and this week waited around for them to deliver my package and received a door tag saying that they attempted to deliver. They don’t knock on the door to notify you that they are outside. This is unacceptable!!! Then you can’t reach a manager directly. So now I have to drive to the location to speak with someone SMH!! KNOCK SO WE WILL KNOW YOU ARE THERE FED EX!!! Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Ryan Armbrust: Stopped in for a late lunch and it wasn’t busy. Ordered a bulgogi noodle box, about $12, which came out fast and hot. Great flavor, nice level of spice, plenty of tender beef. And lots of noodles! I’m happy, I’d come back and eat here again and try something else with confidence.

Lou Fegans: Great value (especially for the area!) but memorable, We ordered a poppabox with teriyaki chicken. The chicken was very moist and comparable to the samples you receive at mall foodcourts. It was a very generous serving of rice and chicken and was easy to split between two people. The box comes with a roll of sushi, 1 piece of tempura shrimp, and 2 pieces of tempura sweet potatoes, as well as a fruit medley. Overall you can't beat the price for the amount of food you receive however I'll compare the quality and taste too a mall food court. Certainly nothing wrong with that and there's many times that is exactly what you're craving.

John LeMasney: I've been visiting DC for work recently, and I can not recommend this place any higher. If you love Korean food, like Bibimbap, breakfast sandwiches, noodle bowls, dumplings, burritos, or any other street food, you must try this place. In the morning, until about 10:30, they serve breakfast. That means waffle sandwiches, croissant sandwiches, bagel sandwiches, and more. I'm from Jersey, and love a BEC on a Kaiser, but Poppa elevates the BEC into an art. They have a special for 2 bulgogi (Korean beef barbeque) egg and cheese sandwiches and fries for about $10, but most dishes are more like $8. Sharing a bowl with a close friend seems like a good idea, as they are filling. If you come for lunch, you get some great options for bibimbap, noodle bowls, bulgogi cheesesteaks, and more. Everything is delicious, and I visited 6 times in a week, choosing different things each time. I'm looking forward to trying the rest. Visit here and you will not be disappointed!

Thomas McEwan: The bibimbap and bulgogi dishes are great. The wraps are always satisfying with half left over for dinner. It's like being in Seoul on a Saturday night again.

Shi Emma: I came early today and they just switched to lunch. My order was done very quickly. However the rice and sides looked like leftovers .The rice was cold and sticky, the carrot was soft and with dark color, fried dumpling tasted not crispy at all, I have all the reasons to believe that some parts of this very first lunch bowl for today were not freshly cooked dishes. I like this restaurant, but the leftover thing really makes me uncomfortable.

kiel renfro: Great foods include bibimbap and bulgogi. With half leftover for dinner, the wraps are consistently filling.

Sarah Deavers: Nice place to sit back and eat a good meal. They have an assortment of different boxes to try (I got the beef bulgogi) that comes with rice, California rolls, and mixed tempura. I've seen a lot of people posting about their boba, but when I asked the server, she didn't know what I was talking about. Maybe they no longer serve it? A little pricey as my box was $15, but its so much food that it's worth it- you could easily make 2 meals out of one order. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area again!

Hector Mejia: I love this place they have big menu food is delicious you can go all the month day by day and try something different!! Customers service is perfect they have incredible ice cream matcha green 💚 or matcha whit vanilla!! Price is ok for the class of food you can eat inside or across street is small park !! Only bad things is not parking you have to parking around and walking!!

E C Smith: Kathy O’Connell the representative/associate for the shop denied my family and I entrance into the shop because she advised we had to wait for others to exit. Meanwhile, another family BEHIND us freely walks in and she didn’t stop them or said a peep. As we waited outside, we saw numerous other families of 4 and 5 walk in. I had family from California come to visit with us and this was a TERRIBLE experience for all of us to be asked to exit a public shop and wait outside while we witness others just walk in. Tori Steffen: Beautiful gift shop - best I’ve been to in DC by far (including all the museum shops). No tacky tshirts in sight. If you’re looking for a Christmas ornament or a nice souvenir gift for someone, this is the place. Staff was also friendly!

So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? VIRGINIA Parker: Very well stocked and clean associate ready to help you. Only one problem not enough cash register open to get the people out. But that's the problem in every store.

Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Lou Costanza: This is a wonderful staple in the neighborhood. They have excellent sandwiches, a wide variety of drinks and the staff members are always very friendly. Prices are reasonable for the area. They also sell grocery items. I really love this place.

Arash Tavakoli: Very nice sandwiches. Fresh and makes you fee like home!

Colin Downes: Great sandwich spot — don't let the unassuming appearance fool you. The Cuban and the muffuletta are both fantastic.

L M: I have never really been impressed with most sandwich shops. They tend to be generic and always tend to be stingy with their size and quality of their offerings. Long story short...I was very impressed as it exceeded all of my expectations. Excellent!! High quality very tasty servings. I left completely satisfied. It's small but service was prompt. Limited seating but that's great! Only tell those you love about this place. Let the ones that you just like find their own place

Daniel Cannon: Excellent sandwiches! The bread is truly fantastic. Very friendly folks. Reasonable prices. What more could you want? Definitely a place you should try for lunch if you’re in the neighborhood.

Jessica Tracey: Cute little market. I came for the sandwiches and got their Italian. Found it very good, and decently priced for what you got! Enjoyed the outdoor seating. They don't have a lot of selection for food, but a tiny bit of everything.

Kia Walker: Racist! Especially the fat guy with the bald head who cooks the food! Don’t go if you’re black. Rude and disrespectful.

Nevin Forbes: I love this sophisticated shop. The sandwiches, soups, chilis, salsas, hummous, and cheese blends (like feta jalapeno) are all made from scratch. The crew is energetic and mostly bilingual. The beer and wine selection is top notch too. You will also enjoy exploring their imported condiments, candies and other treats. Go there now!

anthony danks: Opposite a garge in a small group of stores. A korean resturant and a pizza place. The market has fenced off tables outside and shades from the sun. The shop is small and crowded. Grocery items and extensive wines and cold drinks. In one corner a team prepare sandwiches and meals. Known for breakfast sandwiches eggs bacon sausage pati etc. Bagels cream cheese. The list is extensive. Regular coffee. The area has a lot of walk in younger people often walking their dogs. Its go a friendly upbeat feel. Despite the lack of space the friendly atmosphere makes it all work. Made a pleasant change watching the world go by and a number of people took the time to say hello.
