Aaron Contic: Came into this location to purchase a set of irons, found a set of Taylormade M2 irons that I initially thought were correctly priced at $499. I asked the team member working in the golf department that I was interested and ask where the rest of the set was. He replied that the rest of the set was missing. I asked what was the current price with 3 clubs of the 7 iron set missing? His response was “that’s the price, my manger won’t change it for some reason, but you can ask him” So I asked to speak to the manger which He initially said was available. I was then told that the manager currently on duty was conveniently on a conference call and was now unavailable and the answer was “NO” on a new price for the remaining clubs. To start the team member was friendly and helpful. That being said. I’m also a manager in retail and if a customer asked to talk to a manager about a reasonable question. Im not going to have my employee have to tell the customer “NO” That’s terrible customer service and it’s also a bad business practice to try to sell customers a product that’s missing pieces for the same price as if it’s not!

Misael Reyes: Staff was very helpful soon as I walked through the door security asked what I needed and I got it in less than 20 minutes I was out the door with my daughter's rollerblade slash roller skates

Maritza Cooper: Always a pleasure to visit this location. The store is always clean and organized. You usually get greeted as you walk in the door. The associates are always helpful and pretty knowledgeable. They will go out of their way to help! Well stocked too! Bought a fitness trampoline to keep a 7 yr old from going stir crazy in an apartment during these NO School days! Hope it works! It was Waaay up high. Had 3 different associates make sure I got what needed. All while helping other customers.

Angie Owens: oh my goodness I was on the phone with my cousin, while she was shopping for football cleats for her son. When I tell you that the amount of "OUTSTANDING" customer service that the professional young lady "Ryan" gave to her while she was shopping was absolutely amazing!! I had to tell my cousin through the phone to please tell Ms. Ryan that the level of coatomer service she gave was "THE BEST" that I have seen in a very long time. Ryan if your reading this please keep up the good work!! I am extremely proud of you young lady.

Liliana Gonzalez: Zach did a great job helping me find the the gym equipment I needed. He even helped me load these items into my car after I doubted if the gym equiptment I bough would fit. Thank you so much to him and Horse for the exellent service!

Andrea Y.: Awesome customer service! I emailed Burke Sporting Goods (after hours) to see if they could monogram a blanket that I wanted to give as a gift. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a reply minutes later that confirmed they could do it and included a price estimate and the expected turn around time. I brought the blanket in the next day, and they helped me finalize the font, thread color, size, and placement. (One corner of the blanket was already embroidered and I wanted the monogram to be the same scale.) It turned out great and I’m very happy with it. Can’t wait to see how the recipient likes it!

Marketing: Had a great experience working with Burke Sporting Goods on a large order for company t-shirts. Jake was great at communicating during the process, and we were able to efficiently complete the order. Looking forward to working with them again!

John Florip: I have used Burke Sporting Goods each year to make apparel for a golf tournament. I originally chose them because their pricing was better than the other places I tried. But I keep going back because of the way they work with me. They are easy to communicate with, have been flexible when needed, are great to work with graphics wise, and have always left us very satisfied. It's a family-run operation, run by good, hardworking-people.

Bridget Baker: Would not recommend, poor customer service and unwilling to stand behind their work. Not to mention the cost seemed rather expensive especially when we’re not satisfied. They refused to make it correct. Listen learned, go some place else!!!

Michael Brown: As a company, REI should not inflict their political beliefs onto customers. That said, they carry good gear and this particular location is fantastic. Every time I have come here they have exactly what I need. The staff are friendly and helpful and generally knowledgeable. I don’t know who makes REI branded clothes and gear, but they do a good job.

Mike R: I like this store for so many reasons. First: they have excellent customer service. Today I walked in with my bike to get my flat tire fixed. A woman approached me and signed me in. Then a man walked up to me and asked if I would like to him to park my bike. I was appalled by this gesture. Second: This establishment has everything here. I mean like… leave that bike area if you want to. You will be buying anything from energy gel to underwear. Third: conveniently located right beside the metro.

I waited forever even after pushing this button (photo) and a guy that was helping someone else acknowledged they heard me and would be coming. Still waiting as I type this. Louisa Buatti: I visited REI for the first time since the pandemic began. My pick up of an online order went very smoothly. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful--they all offered to direct me to the customer service/pick up area. I was in and out of the store in a flash.

Andrea Wu: I came here to pick up my shoes that I ordered online, and after trying them out in nature, they were too big so I came back to return and get new ones. The staff helping me was very helpful, bringing me different shoes for me to try on. I finally got a pair that fit properly, and checkout was pretty speedy too. Parking on the street might be a bit tough, but it's not too bad!

H Gill: Great store! love REI… but checking out here is always a 15 min wait. The checkout line moves at a snail’s pace, and the managers/supervisors don’t seem to care. I’ve seen customers put items down and leave out of frustration.

Rebecca Tolbert: Generally a good store, but the parking situation is currently very weird. You park in the parking deck and then have to walk all the way around a whole city block because they have blocked off the elevator and stairs. So, you drive into the parking deck and then have this surprise journey ahead of you, through a sketchy alley and everything. Just wanted to give other customers a heads up!

Ben Layton: Bike shop effectively closes at 6:30, not 7:00, since you have to get on a wait-list to get the bike checked in and the wait-list closes at 6:30. Called in advance and told them when I'd get there and they didn't mention that, so came all the way here for nothing. Turnaround on basic repairs also 9-10 days rn, which is honestly nuts.

R: Oddly enough they aren’t dog friendly yet I saw a pitbull walking around without a service vest. The area around is horrendous, good luck finding a parking spot. Really disappointed that REIs aren’t dog friendly yet their competitors REI and Bass Pro is.

Brian Pourciau: The DC Dynasty program and facility are both great and really helped me prepare for college and now that I have graduated, keep myself in shape. The coaching is great. The coaches are very knowledgeable and most have played baseball at a high level and know what it takes to get to that point. The baseball facility has everything you need to get great indoor practice. The turf field allows for fielding grounders, throwing bullpens, and taking batting practice. When I see teams practicing they all seem to be active and productive using the indoor space. The Dynasty teams I played for were always a highlight of my summer. Not only did we play against some of the best competition in the area, but I also had a great time playing for the coaches who were knowledgeable yet fun, keeping the whole team in every game. I cannot say enough about the training facility. There is all of the equipment you would ever need to prepare your body to become the best possible athlete. I workout there several times a week and as a result of the great instruction I feel like I am in great shape. Overall I think this is a great place to train for baseball or for life and I would recommend it to anybody.

Mike Engelberg: My child has played for Dynasty for 4 seasons now and has attended numerous camps and clinics run by Dynasty. We couldn't be happier with the overall experience. The coaches are great and have a contagious passion for baseball! The teams that my child has played on are very competitive and the players have become good friends, even though they attend different schools and live all over the metro area. I also love that Dynasty has kids from all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds on the teams. The makeup of the teams reflects the real world that our kids are living in. Lastly, with the opening of their great indoor facility my child's team can consistently practice no matter what the weather is, in a tremendous space. Keep up the good work!

Matthew Grieb: DC Dynasty is an exemplary youth baseball program. I played in the program for two seasons, as part of the 22 years that I played organized baseball. Coach Williams was the best coach I ever played for. He has a unique charisma that combines all the necessary qualities to be a great coach. He is honest, motivating, fair, understanding both the mental and physical aspects of the game, passionate, and genuine. Many youth baseball organizations come and go, but what DC Dynasty has done, and will continue to do by representing the best our of area demonstrates a value that is hard to replicate. I can't speak highly enough about how the organization is run because no matter your background, experience, or future aspirations, DC Dynasty wants to help you improve your skills and your love or the game.

Steve Cann: DC Dynasty has some of the best coaches in the area. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for baseball is second to none. Every time I enter the indoor facility you can see coaches focused on the kids and developing them as players and as young men. DC Dynasty has been an inspiring place for our son and that's all you can ask for in any organization.

Antoine Williams: I want to thank you for your reviews, both good and bad. We are a steadily evolving organization that takes pride in developing baseball players and good people. I think what speaks volumes about our organization is that many of our players come back as coaches and mentors. Over 75% of our staff are alumni or coaches that have been with us since our inception. Let people debate all they want on social media about how we run our operations, but the fact that these young men were impacted enough to return to their roots is not debatable!

Leemasters Milford: Yes, there are some issues with Dynasty teams. The teams always have too many players. This fact limits playing time which impacts kids’ mental game making them less effective on the field. While the coaching is really very good, the number of kids limits practice reps which slows the kids’ skill growth. Why don’t parents complain or move their kid to other teams? Unfortunately, there just aren't enough teams in the area. When parents have voiced concerns in the past, nothing much has changed. Also, they don’t want their kid to lose the opportunity to play baseball. (“Oh, the team has too many players? You’re right, so we’re cutting your kid from the team”) While the Dynasty organization is a non-profit, it is making a lot of money. Check out their IRS form 990. Perhaps they could use their “revenue less expenses” to reduce the number of players on each team by creating a few mixed age teams with the extra kids. If the new teams were less competitive, they could play in one of the less competitive leagues in the area. The organization has the potential to be truly excellent, but without competition for kids, unfortunately, they don’t have much motivation to change or think outside of the box.

brian morris: The 13U team had 16 plus players on the Summer League. That is too many kids to have everyone get plenty of playing time and experience. You may want to ask a lot of questions before joining this league.

Cody Stahl: Great organization that coaches youth teams. They also offer batting cages for teams and players. Just be sure you send an email if you are only looking to hit for a handful of sessions.

Mexico: Just amazing having a dc indoor facility for kids can practice because u don't also don't worry about practice cancelled and stuff then there's confusion

DC Roy: Very nice selection of caps and jerseys. Awesome customer service. Antonio is the man! He does the embroidery. Come check him out.

Kimberly Humphries: I came to the lids in pentagon city mall upstairs to get a personalized hat and Adrian.H was so helpful and he has excellent customer service he took his time to help me find the size I needed and was very detailed in explaining about the difference in all the hats. Also Adrian.R and Jeremiah was excellent and patience with assisting me as well with actually doing the custom part of the hat. You want a nice custom made hat go to the lids in pentagon city mall upstairs they have excellent customer service and all are friendly.

Wil Schurr: It was an OK experience we went looking for snow pants and there was such a slim selection. We ended up going elsewhere for jackets and snow pants but did get gloves and balaclavas. Would've figured mid January that there would be a bigger selection of snow wear. Update 4/23/22: Still just an OK experience lol. Google asked me to update the review. All sorts of summer things out. Bought 2 pairs of women's shorts and a men's tank top. $90 are you kidding! Literally the items with the least amount of fabric cost so much. That being said the manager was great at returning an item with a gift receipt that was giving the POS trouble. Thanks manager!

John Tadlock: Not bad overall but I went to the 2nd floor and finally got the attention of the guy at the registrar, once he finally took his earphones out, I asked where the volleyballs where and he said probably downstairs, as I was going back down I saw them out of the corner of my eye and found them, UPSTAIRS. Shouldn't be hard to know where things are, I wasn't asking a professional question, he should at the very least know where the department is. Take out the earphones and be at least slightly professional, have some kind of pride

Hairy Dweller: Me and my family have always gone here to get our gear for sports as long as I can remember. The employees are very kind and helpful. There’s nothing I can’t find there.

Margaret Gora: Scott, who assisted us during our visit, was very knowledgeable and very friendly.The store has an excellent merchandise selection thus you never leave it disappointed and the helpful staff will make always sure that all your needs have been met.

Felicia King: Not much of a variety, and when looking for soccer cleats there isn’t anyone around in the shoe department to assist. I even used the call button and scanned the shoe. And when I took my son’s bicycle in for repair, understandable that it was a busy season. It would likely take more than the 5 days they originally said. It took a whole month and not even fixed. Guaranteed the part wasn’t even ordered. Said they’d call me back, but I knew that was a lie. There’s no such thing as good customer service no more.

Marc Spears: The store is great. Lots of good products. I was there to buy fishing line and to have it spooled to my three reels. That said, it was a bad experience from there on. Young guy didn't do a good job.

Edson Castellanos: Great variety for all your sports needs. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable but at times hard to find. If your a fishing person their fishing selection is great also. Sneaker selection is great and at times they have shoes the big shoe stores don't. Clothes section is also big and well organized. Overall a great store.

Marwa: Worst customer service!!! I bought a Hoka Clifton 8 running shoes from the store as per their associate's recommendation. I asked about the return policy and was told that I can return the shoes within 30 days if it's lightly worn. I bought the shoes on Monday and wore it on Tuesday went for a light jog and got blisters on my feet. I went to the store to return the shoes and get another pair more fitting but they refused to take it and denied any policy of wearing the shoes outside the store. It felt like I fall into a trap ☹️

Lijun G: We used to have a big DSG store in fairfax but it was closed and moved to a smaller lot in the fair oaks mall with a small stock. So i went to the Dulles one. Even though it didn't seem they have a lot of staff around, but I was greeted and offered help quickly. I was assisted by Ralph, who took the trouble to identify the model and price tag of the kayak for me and then an another round for a discount with the store mgr since the kayak was apparently the last one, missing manual and was stained some black marks, and then another round to help me to carry the kayak to the check out and eventually to my car. He was so patient with me when I told him that I was not sure that my car would be large enough to carry the kayak inside, and I may need to return it if the kayak didn't fit in. While I was waiting at the check out, Ralph took the trouble to clean the stains on the kayak for me. I really appreciate his assistance patience and kindness. If it was not the professionalism and helpfulness of Ralph, I might not be able to purchase the kayak in the first place and carry it inside my car. All in all, a pretty good sporting goods store and great staff!

Jennifer Clinesmith: The crazy prices are to be expected here but the Cluttered, unnavigable isles, are below par. Could not cross any isles the length of the store & even weaving between the clothes within sections was impossible. Try any other retail store & you will find better organization and space. Don’t go here with kids or a stroller.

Bob Miller: Out of stock on needed parts when online inventory showed 4 in stock. Bicycle area would look better if they cared. Extremely poor. Shop elsewhere. Had to go to Trek store on Rt 19. Don't waste your time here for bicycles.

Norman Foster: If you need golf clubs, head to 84 drivin range or Golf Galaxy. Associates don't have enough time to help with club selection.

Benjamin McBride: Cody was a huge help back in the bike area great customer service. They did not have to help me but chose to do so shows a lot about the management at this location.

Terri Williams: The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. We also chose to have our son's baseball glove steamed to break it in. The young man Curtis took his time and discussed the comfort of the glove with our son to make sure he had put enough work into it. The store was pretty close to closing but he didn't make us feel rushed and was pleasant to deal with. The lady who helped us pick out his baseball cleats took her time and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back for all our sporting goods needs. Worth the drive!

Wills stuff: Very friendly, helped get exactly what I needed and they loaded as well. Great experience

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Lester Charles: Called in to inquire about a NFL team knit hat (beanie). Sales rep asked if I knew the SKU, but I didn't. I told them exactly which team I was looking for and they said they had it and that I should come in. I went to the store the next day and they didn't have it.... Note, they said they had it, otherwise I wouldn't have gone to the mall to visit this store. I then asked if they knew of any other stores that might have the beanie. They said they couldn't tell me. Waste of time and energy. Poor customer service.

Jason Chung: Don't go to this location.... they have the worst employees and store manager. Worst experience I've ever had as a consumer! Been waiting since September for them to do 6 embroidery hats for my business, and they have yet to produce them. I placed my order the girl told me to pick them up the next day. so I went the next day they was still sitting there not ready, she told me to come back the next day so I did and went to pick up the hats but 2 of them was messed up so they told me to come back the next day so I go the next day and they tried to give me the same hats that had the flaws In them and I was like this is the exact same hats that was messed up. So then I spoke to the new store manager Will he told me to come In show him what kind of hats, style and what I wanted on the hats so we did that he told me to give him until that fallowing Friday which was like 2 days later so I went in that Friday afternoon and I found the same hats me and the store manager picked out sitting at the counter untouched and then an employee approach me with the same original messed up hat for the second time. I then was trying to get a hold of Will the store manager never responded to my text phone calls and when i called the store he was never there. So i went back to the store and of course Will the store manager wasn't there and his employee said he would give me a call and reach out to me i waited patiently for 2 weeks still got nothing. I then proceeded to ask Will the store manager n the employees there for corporate number in which everyone refused to give me the number so i had to do my own research n found corporate number. So as i was talking to corporate guess who finally responded to my Text Will the store owner. He then says to me oh really you took it to corporate when i told you i would handle it and take care of you. Well figure it out its out of his hands smh. You had weeks and months to resolve this but did you I even reached out to no answers so yes I went to corporate. Ive been in that store 7 times talked to the store manager he assured me he would rectify the situation and that was 4 months ago I'm still waiting.... So i spoke to corporate and he said he would rectify the situation so I waited and waited and still heard nothing so I called corporate again and guess what I fond out they put in there records SITUATION RESOLVED👀👀👀👀👀 SO NOW I'M BEYOND PISSED! Lydia from corporate has been the only one to truly try help me and get this RESOLVED she put it over to the General manager customer service manager and the district manager I believe so I spoke with Paul I believe he the district manager and he told me to go into the store didn't matter if Will or a manager was there and pick out any 6 hats I wanted style, color, color stitch and what I wanted on the hats so I tried to do just that last night and again rude unhelpful employees was like I have to come back when Will the store manager is there so I said you can't just see what I want n style n color she goes Nope it's pointless telling me anything I'm not listening to you its going in one👂out the 👂 are you kidding me. This location is very UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR AT THIS LOCATION IM A LONG TIME LIDS CUSTOMER I'VE SPENT 100'S OF DOLLARS OVER THE YEARS AND THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE AS A CONSUMER IN ANY STORE THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED!

VIRGINIA Parker: Very well stocked and clean associate ready to help you. Only one problem not enough cash register open to get the people out. But that's the problem in every store.

Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

The staff was very friendly and helpful because I am in a wheelchair they offered to help me with items I couldn't reach.They had a variety of all kinds of foods and beverages. Sarah West: A large mixed selection of items you can get any 3 for TEN DOLLARS. Selected high end new items are priced accordingly. Kids, mens, and womans apparel and shoes. If you have the knack for treasure hunting in thrift stores.....THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. thrifty and unique pieces all year round

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

RJ 5: Went a few months back. And yes, SET YOUR APPOINTMENT! It’s really simple and usually plenty of time slots available. Had one small issue which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 (really 4.5). The issue… a shoe in my size showed in stock on their website. Asked the young lady working for my size, who turned and asked the Asian gentleman working the counter. Miscommunication between those two and I was told it wasn’t in stock. After a little bit of a back and forth match between the gentleman and I, he realized he was incorrect because he thought the shoe was a different color! All in all, he went to the back, found the shoe, found me a hat to match and I even grabbed another pair that I wasn’t expecting to grab for a little discount! So the 1 stars I see here seem to be fundamentals in reading comprehension 😂. I would go back more often but I do hate the parking situation but it’s DC! But I’ll be back!

Letetia Thompson: Horrible Experience! Was visiting from out of town! Which is typically what most people in Georgetown is doing, visiting. A tourist would not be familiar with the "appointment only" policy. I was greeted by an extremely RUDE Asian lady yesterday! I understand policy and procedure, as I am a business owner. However, one does not have to be rude or insensitive to get the point across. I would never patronize this company, nor refer anyone else. Due to the horrible customer service! I am sure you all could care less. But, try being a little nicer to your customer base. Especially people traveling, when you have ZERO customers inside the store!

Raul Jimenez: This store has very poor customer service. They don’t really care about the walk in traffic. I showed up on 4/13/2022 around 4pm. I saw the sign on the front regarding appointments but was not sure if it was accurate. An asian lady opened the door and was very rude, and then and african american guy came out of no where and was also very rude and was trying to shut the door in my face. He told me that they don’t care about turning away customers because “we are meeting our sales any ways, we good” and shut the door. This business has no sympathy for customers. Its okay if you work by appointments but you need to be more kind to customers. Also based on the way you respond to people on these reviews it still shows that you don’t care about customers, you get defensive and don’t make people feel welcome. 1 star for sure.
Response: What part of “Appointment Only”did you not understand? We care about customers who take time to actually make the appointment and follow the procedure. Do not try to argue your way in, and do not question the rule. You are not entitled to anything.

Rihab Chaieb: I didn’t even go in. I was walking around and saw the store and tried to enter, and this employee just opened the door and asked me if I had an appointment (like I had any idea to book an appointment for browsing?!). I said no, she slammed the door to my face while saying “you need appointment”. Well I need to not spend my money in your store, that’s as simple as that.
Response: You simply need to learn how to read before trying to enter. There are 4 signs that indicate that the shop is appointment only. Don't feel so entitled that you can just enter when the door is closed. There are plenty of 5 star reviews from those that actually matter.

Kneisha G: I spent over $100 in lyft costs to travel to major on Monday and Tuesday. Monday the was closed shop and when I emailed the manager they told them I'm in front of the store. They replied back we were open, you just needed to reschedule your appointment. I rescheduled it for the next day, and she didn't want me to touch nor walk around the store. Every time I tried to ask a question, she interrupted and said you can't try on the shoes, you can't try on the shoes! laughed and said do you even want me to come in? I haven't even told you wanted. She didn't say anything, and when I left she said just go online

Dukes: Went during COVID. An appointment is required to enter the venue. I arrived well before my scheduled time and still had to wait 10 -15 min post my appointment time before I could enter. It appears I was delayed entry because they were conducting inventory updates on the retail floor. This cannot be done in the Stock room? I digress. The store will have something for every “sneaker head”. However the staff didn’t seem as knowledgeable about their product. Also you are paying reseller price for certain shoes even if the release is a week after its general retail release. Not cool. I think ordering via Major’s website is a best situation vs going to the store. Visiting the store is more of a bucket list experience. Once you did it you’ll never need to do it again.

Dr. Brian Sevier: Easily the dopest shoe spot in the city. The owners are very friendly.. very knowledgeable and VERY down to earth! They make you feel like family every time you walk in the door!!

Trey B: They handle raffles and in store release days horribly. Do not recommend. Edit (since the business decided to leave a snarky reply): First come first serve is absolutely no issue. However, no ticketing system, no information given to those in line about stock, and ridiculous wait times are not the norm for in person first come first serve releases. All online raffles require an Instagram to enter, such an obvious cheap ploy for marketing when their website could easily handle it. My advice: find a shop that actually cares about their customers instead of snarky Google reviews.
Response: Our releases are first come first serve. It's unfortunate that you could not show up early enough to get in line, but don't blame us. We do care about customers. And that’s why there’s always plenty of customers that shop with us. What we don’t need is entitled shoppers who think they need a guaranteed pair of limited shoes during a pandemic. We serve customers that actually care about shoes. Not resale value.

Megan Snyder: Not only was the customer service terrible but extremely unprofessional. These owners / employees only care about taking your money & not the quality of the shoes they’re selling. Reached out to them about an issue with the yeezys I bought and they basically told me there’s nothing they can do. Not to mention the store looks nothing like it does on the website, when you walk in there’s boxes everywhere you can barely walk through. The women helping did know what she was talking about which pushed me to feel more confident in buying from them, but turns out I got two different size yeezys and they are not willing to do anything to help.
Response: Please post receipts or pictures. We do go through appointment calendars so if you really did shop with us, there would be a record with the name.

Sebastian Johannes Ferdinand: The tone in this store is the worst I have experienced in my time in Washington DC. On top of that, you are not allowed to try on the shoes. You are only allowed to look and then buy directly. Unfriendly, poor selection, no opportunity to try on. Well, then I'll just order from another store, ONLINE!

Dianna Cahn: Worst customer service. Dont buy there unless you know exactly what you want. I bought a pair of sneakers for what was admittedly a good price and was told that if I return shoes unworn I will get money back. I tried them at home on carpeting and they were too small. Went back and asked if I could exchange for next size and I also asked if they don't work will I be able to return those for my money back and they said absolutely. Again, never worn. Hurt in my living room on carpeting. When I went to return them, was told their policy is only to give a gift card. they would not give me money back. Gave me a lecture on reading the rules. Manager was exceptionally rude. It's a store culture. Stay away unless you know exactly what you want. There are plenty of other stores that honor their deal with the customer.

Hero H: Great store. You can find some real gems in the back wall clearance section for shoes. However, it's just about always crowded. To the point where it discourages me from even wanting to shop because I know the checkout process will take more time than I've spent looking for items.

Dayili 7: In short, I like all the outlet. It amazing 🤩.

S0671 Mamba: Decent size store but if you have the average shoe size for men as myself (10 1/2 or 11) the variety is limited. Good selection for kids or over sized feet.

lakeya jones: Employees were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me download the app which allowed me to receive a discount which was a plus. I even found a semi rare shoe for my child. I will be returning in the very near future.

jess alejo: Good selections and nice military discount. Just be aware can’t combine the military discount and Nike discount app. Got wrong info, guy said, sign up you can combined discount but it is not. Anyway, store manager able to clarify the Nike apps which is SOMETIMES give you discount.

Ty'Ronn Waters Sr: All the good shoes they didn't have in my size 10.5. But good experience not enough people on the floor helping.

Xyco Maniac: Great staff and great products. The back wall (or hash wall) is most of the time always stocked and the aisles are filled with good stuff too. Staff are very nice and the place overall is very clean. The only downsides are the prices aren't always that much discounted (hash wall doesnt always have good prices) and this place still requires masks, but that's okay with me, just something to note. The place itself makes up for any downsides and this place offers returns which is a big plus. Would highly recommend. I make the trip here about every week, driving for 50 minutes and it's well worth it.

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights,the women's clothing layout displays of colors style,etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking.It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? Please consider getting some kind employees for self checkout. 04/25/22 6:00 pm

Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Kaila Gilbert: Good store, could benefit from more helpful signage 😂 idk throw a digital map on the wall or something. but even though I got vertigo/whiplash/confused trying to find a suitcase (they're on the 2nd floor in the wayback) no complaints and the people are good. Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

William Atkins IV: I believe I have written more than two reviews about this Moncler boutique, as everything about it is very unprofessional. First of all, the workers at Moncler are very arrogant and confused when it comes to their jobs. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size coat due to a misunderstanding on behalf of one of the employees. Now the coat that I wanted is unavailable all because of the employees' stupidity. When I went to return the coat, the system was down. To all individuals who were standing in the line, we had no clue that the system was down. I stood outside of Moncler in the cold for 45 minutes without any word from the security guard, employees, and or manager. Needless to say, this Moncler boutique is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL especially when it comes to the way it deals with its customers. I would love to speak to whoever is in charge. I must say that the manager Andre is about the only employee who knows what he's doing. All in all, if you do not have to shop at this Moncler boutique DO NOT!!! TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

FedEx Support: I was in here while the store got robbed (yes, you read that correctly. ROBBED!!) and the employees did absolutely NOTHING. It was so very unprofessional, one would really expect more from a company as prestigious as Moncler!

Erica Williams: My experience at this location was horrible..and I didn’t even get a chance to step foot in the door! Upon arrival, we were met by two security guards who promoted us to wait outside while the ONLY customer in the store completed his transaction. Upon his departure, the customer proceeds to hold the door for us to enter and we were immediately shooed back outside for 5 more mins!!! I understand social distancing but there was no one in the store at this point….I’ll def be ordering elsewhere. Meanwhile…Louis Vuitton had a line outside and we’re accompanying a reasonable amount of customers inside the store…smh!

Evan K: I had an appointment with Jalen who was very friendly and helpful. The store manager, Andre, was also very informative on the current collections in-store. The staff here are very courteous and respectful. The showroom was beautifully curated, especially the sneakerwall and fragment collection. They had sold out of my size at this location but, Jalen was very helpful in having the same shoes mailed to me from another flagship store. Overall, the staff made this a great experience from start to finish. Thank you, Moncler!

Hessa Al Maian: I loved my experience at the boutique and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, they have a decent collection and many variety of options. its definitely worth checking the staff is knowledgeable and maintaining proper social distancing while making sure to check the temperature for every guest. Esther helped us today and overall we had a great visit!

Bojana Stef: I never had such a negative experience in Nordstrom. There is a clear sign at the entrance door and in the store stating that if I download their app-get $5off. In from of the cashier and later store manager Ronda I did that and then they declined to give me $5 off as some banner on the app didn't show up - no explanation no nothing. I never had the Nordstrom app before (during covid, I was in Europe, and I just came back, so I didn't have the app). I will communicate this to Nordstrom.as well. If something is advertised, they have to honor it.

Jason Almeida: Great place for branded items at discounted prices. Ok maybe they might not be the style of the season but it's still worth it. Street parking is easily available all around the store. It's not as big as some of the other outlets but you'll still find a great verity of products

Hilda Kroll: The only department store in the area. Clean and organized so that it's easy to find what you're looking for.

George Brightman: Plenty of stock, although uneven from department to department. Staff on hand were friendly, capable and obviously very busy ( probably quite a few out sick or under quarantine ) -- so bring your own sense of fashion, do some browsing, and go home with some serious bargains !

40ish Sophisticate: This is the worst Rack I have ever been to and I am a frequent shopper plus a Nordstrom card holder for decades. The service is very poor. Lots of standing around, only one person checking out but plenty of security though. Will not return. This an update- I am just now seeing that the cashier did not credit my account for my return! This is absolutely unacceptable! I wish I never shopped at this location 😪

M Hunt: Horrible "customer service" at this location. Employees are rude and extremely unhelpful. I understand that retail has its challenges and am completely empathetic; however, multiple employees across the board at this location are downright terrible at their job and their attitude is even worse.

Stacy Lemery: Nordstrom Rack is a great place, in-person or online for a myriad of goods, particularly shoes since Nordstrom the Department store is known for shoes and carrying extended sizes. I have noticed a shift in the Nordstrom Rack stores to now carry home goods like sheets and bedding. Be careful if you go in there - it's easy to shop, shop, shop!
