Tuna Fish: Bought Anderson windows and a door from them for a porch enclosure. Anderson's concierge helped ID the exact window models and sizes; Lamar and Wallace had samples for me to see and made suggestions. When the time came to order we did it all over the phone and through email. There is always a 5-6 week wait as the factory constructs your windows so build that into your schedule. The windows and door arrived within the time window they said they would and all was in good condition. I could tell the workers took pride in assuring you got every part you ordered. My construction workers helped unload the truck. When there was an issue with some screens not fitting, they replaced them. The showroom is located near the Landover metro so you could even take public transportation there.

Michelle Diaz Ortega: They allow their trucks to park in the middle of the Pennsy & Old Landlover Rd intersection as well all along Pennsy which is no parking. It has caused several near accidents! I have talked to Mike in their office and he literally exploded at me! One of their drivers tried to atrack me yesterday while I was calling 911 (per PG police instructions to me over the issue). He was hitting my closed window & screaming and making racial slurs. I have both photo & video proof. I want nothing to do with a company that promotes this kind of unethical behavior. I called back recently to speak with the person in charge supposedly. I believe his name was Dave. He yelled & screamed at me. He told me that their parking practices are none of my business and why do I care if it's not in front of my house! Does this sound like the type of company you want to work with for your building & construction needs? My brother-in-law and a cousin (whom have businesses) have both removed their accounts here over the way I was treated!

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

Jeff Rueckgauer: Needed a red 10 cup Brita pitcher. App says there is 1 in stock. Not on the shelf. 4 associates said they couldn't help but would page someone for the aisle. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to at least arrive, even if they have to look further. This HD had been really good for many years. The pandemic is no excuse for just unhelpful people and plainly unconcerned, inept management.

Rickey Anderson: I went to the Rhode Island Avenue store it was good. What would made it excellent if their stock was current with the website. They didn't have it even though the computer said they did have it. The item was Sphagnum moss. Happy that I was able to find a few other items

Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.

jamesbowdenjr: This is the worst Home Depot is in the entire country. I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.

Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.

Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

mustafa bozoklu: I bought 3 doors from this company and ordered the doors on the phone. I had to give back the doors I received because they had misunderstandings about the measurements and replaced them with smaller doors. In addition, I returned 3 extra hinges, but Bob Kut (sales representative) said that the hinges did not reach him. The doors I bought were cheaper because they were smaller than the previous ones, but they charged the same amount of money. When I called Bob, he told me that there was a restocking fee which I understand and when I told Bob I didn't see anything related to it on my bill, he became angry and yelling at me over the phone What a coincidence that the previous doors and new doors were exactly same price even they were smaller size and I retuned extra 3 hinges I had which they are not on new invoice !!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service - minus ( not even zero ) . They are a liar and dishonest.

Dan Sabouni: Worst customer service ever. The sales people ignore you and talk down to you and even swear at you. It's due to poor and bad management and no accountability. Don't go there, trust me.

C H: If I could assign a double digit negative rating I would! Trip 1: called to replace 20 year old door. Crew tears out new (3 month old) and expensive weather stripping, then lies about doing so, argues about reinstalling it. Because they destroyed it. They also struggled to install the new door, evenly so it would close properly and tore up the interior door jam and scratching the new door in the process (lied about that, too, to my face - except I heard the debacle unfolding quite clearly). They failed to properly reinstall the mail slot hardware, without scratching that up as well. Best of all the final product was hung so unevenly i could see not just daylight outside but the cars in the lot. Trip 2, to remediate: same crew, shows up and argues about the "quality" of their work, then offered to fix specific items i was unhappy with "to make you happy". Threw the original work crew out. Trip 3: New crew, after a months time. They were also unable to hang door correctly, replace and install the weatherstripping properly without further damage to my door jam, and destroyed the hole where the lock engaged. I've been told there are several problems starting with an undersized replacement door, which they tried to gin up by adding extra padding around the door frame, except that now the door won't fully close without slamming it. And, the bolt is so badly misaligned with the hole, you have to LIFT the door to get it to close. Adding insult to injury, they discarded the lockset plate for the deadbolt - i guess because it further impaired the locking mechanism.

Al Ectric: This place offers very minimal options to choose from with a tiny gallery. Top that off by super very indifferent, lazy and not knowledgeable staff, not to mention unhelpful. I had a super hard time ordering a door from here with a sales rep who didn’t care much other than just keeping his eyes fixated on his computer monitor. To make matters worse, they delivered me a scratched and damaged door 🚪. Won’t recommend at all.

Greg Yette: These guys are dishonest. The guy shows up and immediately starts criticizing how the hinges are installed on my door. The door has worked fine for 8 years. Just fix what is wrong, the spring and the roller. He gives an eyeball estimate of almost 700.00. I send him on his way and did more research. I just got the repairs done for about 350.00. Precision Door sucks.

William Henderson: The technician was Sherman Stepney. Today was my second time calling upon Precision Door to service my garage doors. The first time was for maintenance. On Friday, I called the for repair. They came out on the first day I was available, today. The technician was on time and wearing PPE equipment. I received a hassle free estimate. I choose the premium repair job. The job was completed in a couple of hours. The technician was thorough and cleaned up the area as he left it.

Tyler U: Called them for a door replacement. I spoke with an employee over the phone and was told they would give me a call back to set up a time for a technician to come out and measure the door for an estimate. A week later, after not receiving a call back to set an appointment, a technician showed up unexpectedly to my home. Sal was very professional and apologized when he showed up. This wasn't a huge deal to us, but it just doesn't look very professional. Over a week has passed since our door was measured and have still not received a quote. Dont waste your time with Precision Doors and Hardware.

Vocelli Pizza: Inconsistent pricing from one sales rep to other. $4.5k for a single exterior fiberglass door. There ridiculous pricing made me go to looking at HD doors. They quoted me $670 for the same door with frame + 250 for installation.

Ashley: I give the star to the awesome guy who helped me when I first arrived the guy who unloaded my truck for an hour for a partial load took the rest of the four stars away

William Rodriguez: This is my SPOT! I used to run around all over town trying to find different odds and ends offered at specific stores. Then I stumbled on True Value on 17th which seems to have everything I could ever need and quickly became my one stop shop. Feels like I'm in this store just about every weekend. I was treated like family (with great customer service) on day one and that continues to be the same experience with every visit since. Have actually come to enjoy seeing the same people on every visit and catching up. The staff is not only friendly and conversational, but also very knowledgeable. These folks have advised me on mounting curtains, replacing a bathroom sink, removing graffiti, patching a hole in the wall, painting, plant care and countless other household projects/hobbies. I could go on and on raving but I'll stop there. You'll have to stop in and experience it for yourself!

Paul Durbin: Great staff. I’ve gone to this hardware store at least 100 times. They make eye contact and ask what I need help with, without fail. They all seem to jump in to cover any duty. If a register is occupied, one of the staff will quickly ask to take me at another one. I’ve never had to search for help and I’ve never had to wait in line.

Rujwan: This place is great! It's nice to have a hardware store nearby, but this store offers so much more! The have a nursery, which doesn't surprise me, kitchen ware, cleaning supplies, and so much more. On top of that, they're all really friendly.

Kimberly Sweitzer: I choose Pella to replace some windows in my home. The whole process was very easy and affordable. Their representative Troy Owens was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the windows. He took his time to listen to what I wanted and explained which windows he thought was the best for my home. Then to my surprise he even stopped by during the install to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction. Amanda McElhannon: We replaced all of our windows and doors with Pella in Sept 2020. We also added 2 large sliding doors at the time. Everything from the initial visit to final walk through was professional, timely, and of the best quality. Our sales representative John Dalton was instrumental in getting us across the finish line and we have already reached out to him regarding future projects. Landon Rordam: Long story short: Bad communication, botched delivery, months-long delays, and so many change orders the finished product is completely different from what we were sold. Working with this Pella office has been a terrible experience from start to "finish." We ordered a door and a window. As soon as we signed the contract and issued payment they submitted four change requests for our door via email, but never sent new mockups. After six months of waiting and two measuring appointments, a door arrived that didn't fit. Yet they still wanted payment, and we couldn't get hold of anyone to help resolve. Another four months went by, and then they called to tell us they lost our custom paint we provided them and asked us to buy them more. Finally the new door arrived. It looked substantially different (and much worse) than what we had picked out with our salesperson, and to top it off, after it was installed we realized that the factory installed the brass hardware crooked! At each issue we have faced a game of "not my problem/fault/job" and trying to get anyone to help us and follow through on what they said was impossible. Typically I try and find a saving grace to upgrade a one-star review to a two-star review if I can. Our second installation team, led by Sergio, was incredibly fantastic and professional. But our experience working with any of the business office personnel at Pella has been truly abysmal. We chose Pella and paid top dollar because we wanted the best. Dana Grosser-Clarkson: We bought a house with newly installed Pella windows but on 4 of the narrow windows they seemed to be lacking a weather seal. We noticed a significant air flow during the winter. We emailed Pella in late January and sent pictures. They scheduled us for a tech to visit in early April. Tech (Armando) arrived during scheduled window and quickly assessed issue and ordered new seals to be installed in May. Armando was super friendly and showed me how the various windows worked (two different models in our house for some reason). I'll update review when issue is fully resolved. Service: Window repair

E J Moscatelli II: Typically not one to leave reviews, however... My wife and I thought it appropriate given the multiple estimates and sales folks we had seen for our Spring remodeling projects. Our sales representative Jasper of Pella Doors and Windows, in Vienna, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and above all listened to our goals/requirements. We felt many of the other companies tried to "over sell" products or push high-end/dream home product lines. Jasper has communicated expectations, time lines, and has been super responsive to questions/requests. Due to the ongoing supply-chain woes, we are pleasantly awaiting the arrival of our custom Pella front door and sliding glass doors later this summer. Thanks Jasper! gpj: Pella sent Troy Owens to give estimates for window replacement at my house. He arrived on time, and asked all the pertinent questions to guide me in selecting the right windows for my home. He has a great personality and did not pressure me to make selections or decisions but instead subtly guided me towards what I think will be the perfect solution. Craven Moorehead: We are early on in the process and really just needed some pricing so we could figure out how many we could do and what kind of budget we needed to prepare for. We contacted a few companies and although the products were different, their sales pitch was nearly identical with having to sign right now for a certain price and we're just not there yet. My brother told me he worked with someone who had his windows replaced and was very happy with the process. Ended up talking to him and found out that he used Pella and did it in two phases. Back of his house first and then the front last year. I can tell you he is an effective spokesman for Pella and during our call, he actually conferenced in and introduced his sales rep, Bill Reames. Dealing with Bill was and is a completely different experience. Super professional and easy to communicate with. He understood our situation and laid out a plan that makes sense both logically and financially and right now, that's what we needed. We're not quite ready yet but expect to pull the trigger in the December - January time frame. We're excited about getting Pella windows and extremely comfortable dealing with Bill. Emily Shaw: I love this place--such a friendly neighborhood vibe. I get all my plants here, and this one guy who works there (sorry don't remember the name) is my plant guru. They will repot your plants for a small fee if you bring them in, which is so helpful when you live in an apartment. Also--their plants are so reasonably priced!! I bought a gorgeous 7-foot fiddle leaf fig on a whim because the price was literally a quarter of what you'd pay at [unnamed nearby plant shop]. Thank you for everything you do!!

Paul Durbin: If you want service and quick check out go to True Value on 17th. Completely different experience with knowledgeable staff ready for you at the door who will help you and then check you out right away. 100% of the true value staff knows their stuff. Here it’s mainly people who will just check you out and don’t know hardware. This place has equally good inventory and later hours, but it’s not a hardware store experience. And for what it’s worth this is an Ace Hardware, which advertises on Fox News, should you want to avoid supporting Fox.

Baba Harsh: This place is great, I understand it's a mom and pop shop but man the prices are super high. The people are somewhat helpful but got a lot of short answers. Ended up at Home Depot.

Symon Phoenyx: I'm a novice woodworker and this is the absolute best store in the area for my needs. Staff isways friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store is always clean and presentable. They offer woodworking classes, and will even help suggest other ways to accomplish your task. They aren't cheap by any means, but they are easily appropriately priced for their products, it's just an expensive hobby. 😅

Michael A: I recently took up a little wood working and doing crafts and this place has all that you need to get started with your projects. I'm doing more woodturning now and the staff are all experts and able to set you up right for your project. The prices can be a little high on some items but they cater to quality in this shop. The machinery are all top notch equipment and you won't find the more economical choices here like you may at Harbor Freight or Lowe's. This shop has a smaller selection for those into resin casting compared to the Leesburg store but their online selection has anything you may be missing. They offer several selections of exotic wood blanks as well but some can get pricey but you are paying for quality so I don't mind the extra costs. If you're into wood turning, wood carving, making cutting boards and trays, or finish carpentry then you need to stop by and shop around. I'm a regular now and glad I found this place. It's the only place around for specialty wood working that I know of. You can buy everything you need to make the items shown.

Cara Nicole Stock: Really mind gentlemen here! Came in with zero knowledge starting a personal repurposing project and I was helped gently by the two guys who were working (I wish I got their names). Will definitely return for any wood making projects I take on in the future!

Chopped Champ: This store is a smaller than other locations, but carries a very good supply of tools (power and hand) and sundries for all your woodworking needs. Staff was very courteous and helpful and the store was spotless. They have a nice selection of milled lumber both domestic and exotic, but prices were a bit high in comparison to what I'm accustomed to as I usually purchase rough and do the milling myself. Store had tons of finishing materials in stock from dyes to topcoats. Parking is abundant as the store is located in a strip mall. This is a very good store for any woodworker from novice to professional with a range of products to help you start and complete your projects.

Leonid Matvyeyev: So there I was in this store, I needed nothing and yet many $ later I walked out thinking back if I needed any more. I bought some stuff that I did not need but wanted, a good selection of tools and the staff was very helpful. I have not been to many woodcraft and that other Woodworking store but they all seem as good as the others.

Vince Charming: Knowledgeable staff, plenty of class options, exotic wood, and hardware for DIYers like me! Similar to a Rockler, in a good way.

Ed Skinner: Changed a backordered item, and picked up three pen kits for Summer birthday presents. Amazing inventory! Great service!

Brad Moffett: Store has an excellent selection of woodworking tools, equipment and supplies. Lots of specialty tools as well for tiring, routing, jigs, and clamps. Prices are a bit higher than at the big box stores, but they have items the dedicated woodworker can't find there. I especially like their collection of vaneers. Plus, the staff there are always very knowledgeable. A trait you definitely won't find in the big box stores on a consistent basis.

Stacey F.: Very helpful staff and really love ability to use advanced tools for workshop fee and have an experienced person to help - really helped!! Note that most small supplies are a bit more expensive than Home Depot basics, but I suspect probably higher quality or more durable than the big box store. If you are able to, definitely support these guys!

Aida Dedajic, CAE: Amazing class! We did the date night and built a beautiful box. Our instructor, Nate Blodgett, was detail oriented, technical, patient, explained all the tools. It was so refreshing. We loved the experience and building something with our hands.

Our window broke and with just two short visits, they measured and replaced only the pane that was broken, rather than having to buy a whole new window. Jesse Leifert: Urban City Glass was great. Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond via text and call. Measuring to install was about a week and we really like the outcome. Joshua Cruse: Overall; Lowe’s as a company/brand has declined in recent years. In my recent experience, though, this location in particular seems to be the least reliable of all the stores in the metro DC area. Across departments, their inventory is grossly misrepresented in the app (by dozens), and the associates are generally not helpful in determining whether or not they actually have the items in the store. They are quick to blame “the system”. However, I’m not patronizing their system. I [was formerly] patronizing them. So, if it’s an issue with just this location; avoid this location. If it’s company-wide, avoid the company. That’s how consumers should react to their blame-game logic. At this point, it just simply appears Lowe’s is artificially inflating their inventory counts online to get customers in the door. That’s misleading and dishonest. Alternatively; the big-orange-box competitor’s site/app will direct you to contact the specific store if the quantity is low or out of stock. Still not as honest as a flat “we’re out”, but better than inflated counts. YMMV. Buyer beware.

Kwadwo Tuffour: Took this painting to figure out how to get it up on my wall, and to get the right kind of nails to do it. Sales associate was able to take me right to what I needed and shower me how to hang it. Mission accomplished. Bonus: Had a nice, brief conversation with the cashier, Radha about the different women in the picture. She recognized a couple and asked about a few, which i told her.

John Kean: A home improvement store that's worth a longer drive. It has well-organized and labeled stock that is free of the grimy dust in competitor's stores. The staff has been exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Smaller than other home stores, so I have some items delivered to the store, usually in a day, and then I am sure the item will be available. I have used the store's contractors for air conditioning installation and gutter replacement. Both were excellent and cost was the lowest or close to lowest.

Kari Podhajsky: It was a perfectly fine and clean store. It had what we were looking for. The women's bathroom needed a little bit of love, but it certainly got the job done. The employees were friendly and helpful. The signage was accurate and easy enough to find everything that we needed. Plus there was ice cream nearby!

Jessica Osorio Jimenez: Go to the Chantilly store, it is not that far away, it is bigger with a larger selection, better organized and doesn't have a Norma. I absolutely abhor having no choice but to listen to someone in "management" belittling and berating an employee from the corner front of appliance to to past the appliance desk in front of customers or other employees, there is absolutely no need for it. If that would've happened before I purchased my appliances, I would've have left and purchased them elsewhere. The other employees are helpful but they look harassed and stressed. I even went back a couple of times to see if the atmosphere had changed, but 🤷‍♀️ it may get better once the reorganization is complete but until then, just go to the Chantilly store.

Tracey Greene: Went and got spare keys for mom. I'm so happy they had a great variety of different colors to choose from so that you can use certain keys to identify certain doors for your house. And the guy who helped me do the keys he was so nice. Thank you for the great experience

Jonathan Larson: Convenient location, but smaller footprint so not as wide of a selection as other Lowes. Staff are proactive, but minimally staff checkout lanes.

Dawn Wunderle: After more than 7 phone calls to 3 different numbers trying to schedule appliance installation, I was lucky this morning to have been assisted by Joshua Lewis in the Floral and Garden Department. Even though it is not his department or responsibility, he patiently worked through getting the dishwasher I ordered on January 13th scheduled for installation. If there were 10 stars - I would select all 10 for Joshua! Patient, courteous and helpful and he went above and beyond to assist me!

Yumiko Cook: I had outstanding customer service from Gretchen. All the time she was polite, friendly, and tried to find what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the store didn’t carry the fluorescent light bulbs. But she gave me more information of it about me to order it easier.

Blake Gregory: I had the Best experience I've ever had at this Lowe's Store. The young lady in the Appliance area was helpful, knowledgeable and got our Refrigerator delivered the next day. A 10 star experience in satisfaction.

Working with our design consultant was better than expected. I was able to complete the design process, ordering and received all the pieces for the project in a week. Yes, the cost was a bit higher than trying to DIY it and I did order during the 20% sale. It was worth it. We did have a contractor build out the closets. The design staff was able to provide the build instructions in Spanish. Service: Refurbishment

Dunc Fulton: The store is nice, but the check-out line was 40 minutes long. Medallion has replaced my roof, built my deck and extended it to add a screen in sun room along with the installation of all my security doors and bars. Many years ago Medallion added stairs to my already built deck. A couple of months ago I decided my deck stairs needed to be refaced using composite vinyl materials (that doesn't require a lot of maintenance like wood. My first step was to contact my faithful sales person Mr. Preston James he came right over to make sure what I wanted was durable. From that point, all the folks at Medallion who played a crucial roll to make this happen provided me with outstanding customer services, this included the staff involved with sales, finance and the management teams. Their support and kindness help me while going through this major home improvement. The crew members who performed the actual work were timely, courteous, and respectful. They also, cleaned the work area they did not leave any scraps or nails behind. Medallion Security doors will always have my business!! Esther Williams: Medallion Security Doors did an admirable job!!! I Just got my patio pavers completed and everything looks so beautiful, cannot wait to have my first gathering, so excited! Shawn Carrington: I was referred by a friend to talk to a representative at Medallion who would be able to help with my family needs of installing a white, vinyl privacy fence. The fence that was installed looks amazing with many of my neighbors inquiring about the process of getting one installed. Tiffany Jordan: I have been waiting for a fence to be installed since August, it’s December and still no fence. My salesperson was very attentive when the contract needed to be signed and they wanted my $2,800 deposit. They love to blame the county for the permit process but they didn’t send my information to the county until October. The county responded in 2 weeks requesting adjustments. Who knows when they resubmitted but 4 months of waiting and NO FENCE. I would never recommend this company to anyone at all ever!!! This has been the worst experience. Since August I’ve had trees removed, a new roof installed even bought a new car but NO FENCE!!!

Lisa Weaver: Yesterday I had my storm door installed and we absolutely love it. The representative that came out to my home helped me pick the perfect color for my door and it is beautiful. The installers were very nice and they came on-time and they did a very excellent job. I didn't even have to be home for the installation. I would recommend Medallion to anyone I know.

Harley Stine: Three delivery appointments were needed to get delivery and installation of a new Whirlpool dishwasher purchased at Home Depot for a property I manage in Falls Church in the development Holly Crest. The first appointment was cancelled because of a snow storm. Second appointment failed when unboxing the dishwasher it was discovered that it was damaged, dented. On the third appointment January 14, 2022 the lead installer made it clear to me on arrival through his snarling attitude, upon my introducing myself to him, that I was not welcome to talk with him. Ignoring my request to bring the new dishwasher in the house through the garage entrance, which is a couple steps to the kitchen, he brought it in through the front door tracking over recently professionally buffed hardwood floors in the foyer and dining room to the kitchen. The misanthropic installer made a mess removing the old dishwasher (see attached photos). Disconnecting the water line water leaked and puddled on the floor under and in front of the dishwasher being removed. He ignored the mess in front of it making no effort to clean up the soiled water before pulling out the old unit and installing the new one without cleaning the floor under it. The installer stood in the puddle while installing the new dishwasher and tracked through the dining room and foyer when he and his partner took away the old one. Mrs. tenant generously did the clean-up after they left. I purchase many appliances at the Merrifield HD. I also buy appliances at Ferguson in Chantilly and at 2 Lowe’s locations, Fairfax and Chantilly. I do not care for the pretentiousness and indifference of Bray & Scarff sales reps and managers and Best Buy is the bottom of the barrel in my opinion snd experience. Generally I work with sales rep Mo at Merrifield HD. Reporting my complaint of this incident to Mo he brought in his boss who is titled Customer Experience Manager. I found him ineffectual. Mo is competent, he is experienced and knowledgable but I am putting HD on pause for the moment. Coincidently, today, I am going to purchase a KitchenAid Over-the-Stove Microwave as a small part of preparation to list another management property of mine For Sale in Reston. I am going to buy it at Lowe’s in Fairfax. ********************************************** April/16, 2022 Updating review and downgrading star rating from 2 stars to 1 and I would make it zero if I could. Weeks after dishwasher installation tenants reported water standing in the dishwasher after cycling causing me to order a warranty service call. The VIA Services technician making the warranty service call immediately discovered the cause of standing water was drain hose not “high looped” by the installer. In less than 10 minutes the VIA technician made the simple and easy correction. The VIA tech was professional and, of course, there was no charge. Five stars for VIA Services, negative stars for Home Depot and their delivery installation contractor. On top of being rude; making and leaving a mess of dirty water on the floor in front of the dishwasher; not cleaning the floor under the dishwasher before installing the new one; the installer was either incompetent connecting the drain hose or simply sabotaging the installation. Merrifield Home Depot’s reaction to my initial written complaint report, supported by photos, was saying that everybody understands good help is hard to find and the subcontractor hiring decision is made a management level or two above them at a corporate location. Nothing they can do about it according to them. I on the other hand am voting with my feet and my clients’ money forward restricting appliance purchases to Lowe’s and Fergusson. Between the installation of this dishwasher and the VIA warranty service call I purchased a stainless steel KitchenAid convection microwave from Lowes having a flawless delivery and installation appointment at another property.

Sigmund Graetzer: This has been my go-to place for pretty much everything for quite a few years now. I have my own home improvement business so it is essential for me to be able to get materials quickly and reasonably priced as possible. Of course I will return here.

Brad Greeff: It's not a good sign when they don't have bolts in stock and the bolts they do have are completely mixed up in their boxes and incorrectly labeled. Some of these look like they're from another section of the store.

Christina Kramer: I worked with Designer Kamaria Hunter (Store 283) to remodel my bathroom. She was great. She listened closely to what I wanted, rolled with the multiple times I changed my mind, educated me on the options, and eventually helped me choose the final product. I highly recommend her and the store.

Acoustic Analyst: Pleasantly surprised at the price of wooden fence materials for my project. Boards were straight, which is not always the case these days.This location has covered parking at street level...a plus when it rains or when the Sun wants to cook you!

Jean Stroup: I was running an errand for my daughter at this store, I guess because I am a woman looking for hardware, I was ignored. This store has horrible customer service, I had to chase people down for help. One young man whom I asked for help pushed me off to an older gentleman who was already with a customer!

Ben Sliwka: No staff here. And on the odd occasion one walks by, they avert eyes and turn the corner. Go to Lowes. This is not new.

Nadana Ravishankar: The store is very large and have very big covered parking lot. It is located on the Lee highway which is very close to merrifield metro and I66. This is our first visit here and there is a great collection of items for every home and garden needs. The store is well maintained and cleaned.

Ravi Ravishankar: The usual Home Depot experience. Covered parking is a nice touch. Quite busy when we shopped (3 pm on a Tuesday). Friendly staff.

Adam Bush: Impossible customer service. I had a simple question about an online order I had made. Was told the person I needed to talk to was helping another customer. Was told to leave my phone number so they could call when they were done. I waited around the store for over half an hour. Never saw the original associate again. Never received a phone call.

Keya H: This company is absolutely pitiful and I will never recommend them to anyone. They made a delivery to my home without calling first to ensure someone would be their to receive the delivery. The incompetent delivery driver damaged my garage door when backing up, which I have photos and a video documenting. After days of going back and forth with Laura, sometimes I got a response, sometimes I didn't, she finally said my claim was submitted to the insurance company. The driver flat out lied to the claims specialist and said my garage door was already damaged. Complete lie. My home is less than 1 year old and was not damaged prior to my leaving out that morning. I have him on video hitting my door with the lumber...there was a loud crash, he was mumbling something, then he tried to readjust what he dropped off and caused the damage. Nevertheless, I have an attorney now and this company, that has no integrity, lying, don't know how to drive delivery drivers, will be in court over this matter. If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. I do not recommend. &to the owner, please don't waste your time or energy replying to my review. You were absent in the process when I was trying to get this matter rectified, so you replying is unnecessary.

Ray Kruse: Tw perry overall is a great supplier. I have an account and have done well over million in business with them for many years. Bmc bought them out a year ago.(very disappointing)There prices have skyrocketed since. Would suggest searching competitors for pressure treated lumber and pvc trim and hardware. Trex materials are probably best price you can find. Love all their employees and sales people. Work with Jim Davis ....he is the best and most honest and dependable. Would have given 5 stars in years past.

Christina: RUN!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Impossible to reach, impossible to find help to purchase materials. Actually went to showroom and staff ignored us and walked away. Mike Maxfield: A bit intimidating for a weekend project guy like me since it's the go-to place for contractors, and that yard is busy! Fortunately the yard workers are super helpful, especially for first-timers. Tons of lumber and other selections available, and the front desk folks are super helpful. A little more expensive than the 'Depot', but the quality more than makes up for it.

However, this last visit to the Springfield location wasn't as easy as the others. Due to incorrect signage, I purchased the wrong molding. It's a good thing that the lumber yard had a quick access door to the sales center. The corrective action was simple and easy.

S King: We have visited TW TW Perry to secure materials for several projects and have mixed thoughts about our experiences with TW Perry. Background: 1. We have an event production company and build scenic pieces and furniture for social and corporate events. 2. We are professional workers with theatrical, stage and film unions. Pro: Supply and quality of the wood products is often very good. Cons: Inconsistency in employees. Mary was competent. Others not as much, including 1 employee who wanted to charge us for 20 post wraps for 8 posts. Our commercial rate was occasionally more than the rate of Home Depot, 84 Lumber, and or Lowe's. Military discount?? Less than $1 off the cost of a $41 item. Do we purchase from here often? No, as their location, hours and prices are not often worth the effort. We tend to go visit when we have a large build or trouble finding a product closer to our shop.

Jose Morales: Worst customer service possible. I been buying form Perry and Smoot Lumber for more than 20 years but lately, since they became one company, service at yard is REALLY bad after 3:30 pm. I was there today around 4 pm, paid more than $500 and guy at yard was only making excuses to get material, even though my helper and me offered to help him. REALLY A BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Rishi Kumar: I have bought several wonderful pieces from Hardwood Artisans. Pictured here is a coffee table and their 'Jeannie cubes' (the astonishing striped cubes to the left; they are made of scrap pieces of wood pursuant to the company's mission to minimize waste) These are among the most beautiful objects I own. The craftsmanship is astounding. Most of the items are made to order and take time, but boy is it worth the wait. This furniture ain't cheap, but this is the kind of place you go to make an investment in a piece that will last a lifetime or more.

Bule Story: ^_^ BuleStory review for Hardwood Artisans 😊 There is one murphy bed in Hardwood Artisans - Shirlington, Virginia which really really surprised me because the bed just look like a wall cabinet but it can be open and you can pull the bed from those cabinet more like a secret bed 😎 that MI6 use for keep all the guns and weapons 🔫 hahahahahahahahahahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (feels like being James Bond) 😎😜 it does make me really impress. The another model for murphy bed looks good and nice as well, but this one i like it the most!

T Banner: Beautiful wood work. Lots of innovative designs and craftsmanship. I would decorate my entire home with their work but.... I cannot afford it. Many of the pieces are expensive. I am not saying that they are over priced, but if you are not looking for heirloom pieces then this may not be the place for you.

Tori W: Stopped in to browse & love their products! All handmade furniture made from solid woods (beautiful cherry, maple, figured & burl maple and walnut pieces) with ornate detailing, dovetails & ebony peg joinery. This is not IKEA furniture so my experience is it is built to last. Lots of pieces have a craftsman & Japanese modern mash-up feel, very unique & beautiful. If you're a fan of Woodcraft, you'll love this store! A unique piece they make are floor to ceiling custom bookshelves with hidden murphy beds--great for DC area where extra space is difficult to transform. Forgot to take pics, sorry.

G: We just completed our master bathroom remodeling with KBS Alexandria, and we are very happy with the results. We really liked what KBS recommended for materials and design. Marco and Melissa guided us throughout the entire construction time. Melissa kept us informed every step of the way. Marco designed beautiful bathrooms and a powder room for us. We chose a free-standing bathtub for our master bath and got a frameless shower door and custom double sink vanity precisely how we wanted it to be. We went with a bathtub-shower combo and a custom double sink vanity for the hall bath.The star in the powder room is the tiles. They are stunning. It was absolutely a blessing to find every single item at Kitchen & Bath Shop's showroom. We didn't have to go elsewhere to pick up any materials. They have the best quality materials, and the selection is very up-to-date.Our project manager Max, constantly updated us with the schedule and the process so we would know what to expect. We always felt that our project was as important as if it was his very own house. The job site crew, Jose and his team, were fantastic! Julie Hunter: We recently hired Alexandria kitchen and bath shop to do a complete remodel of our master bathroom. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We’ve been enjoying the finished product for a few weeks now. The bathroom looks beautiful and exceeded our high expectations. Our remodeling process started with a preliminary inquiry to several different bathroom remodelers. Melissa, from the Kitchen and Bath Shop, got back to us nearly immediately. We set up an on-site visit for her to see our space. From the first time we met Melissa at our house - we knew we were in great hands. She took detailed measurements, listened to what we wanted and offered her suggestions. She then left and went to work designing our new bathroom. We drove up a week or so later for the design meeting. Melissa unveiled her design - in 3D - on an enormous computer monitor in their showroom. It looked amazing! She was extremely prepared and had also organized samples of each of the materials she selected. We really liked everything she picked. We did, however, have a few specific ideas for lights and showers. She was so accommodating in working with us to change the design to find the exact ones we wanted. In the end, she designed for us our modern dream master bathroom. When we were completely happy with the design, they gave us a price estimate for this remodel. It was not the lowest number we received, but it was highly competitive. It was also the final price, there would be no surprise added costs to worry about. The deciding factor for us, however, was that this redesign was by far the nicest quality! Work started in less than two weeks. We had heard horror stories of people having the wait months. The workers were great; very competent, friendly and respectful of our home. They stayed until the planned work was done - never leaving just because the clock said it was time to go - and always carefully cleaned up before departing. Steven was the project lead and he was awesome to work with. He explained to us what they were going to do that day and asked us when he had a question. He even offered helpful suggestions from time to time. We were blown away by the quality of workmanship and the attention to detail. They even happily came back to change the shower fixture after we thought we were done (and after they received the final payment) as we discovered we were not completely happy with the one we initially selected. As you can tell, we our absolutely thrilled with new bathroom and our experience with the team from the Kitchen and Bath Shop. We would highly recommend Alexandria Kitchen and Bath Shop to anyone looking for a top-quality remodel. Service: Remodeling

Gulay Edis: Marko and his team were first-rate, top-notch, honest professionals who built our backyard deck in late Summer 2020. He patiently worked with us on a number of design iterations / budgets as our plans and materials changed throughout the process (ended up being able to make paint wood work within our budget). They also honored their price quote even when lumber costs had gone up from time of quote -> actual construction date, given COVID-related supply shortages, which was definitely appreciated. They were very communicative around timing for when they'd be able to do the job given the extraordinary demand / job pipeline that they had during the summer, and they were able to get to our job and finish when they said they would. The on-site team were great guys, professional, and hard-working / diligent. When our outside-electrical outlets had issues, they dealt with it by bringing in a portable generator so they could meet the deadline, and did so without complaints (though I can imagine it was frustrating at the time). The final product was great - Jose and his team had excellent attention to detail, and we were and continue to be very happy with our new deck. Overall, very trustworthy and top-notch professionals all-around!
