Leslie Swift: I am not in a position to assess value because nobody else would give me a bid on this very complex job -- 13 large nonstandard second floor windows not designed to open replaced by windows that do open. The windows are solid, perfectly fitting, and attractive. They sent over and paid for a painter/handyman to deal with minor cosmetic issue inside and outside the house. They did two other minor window and door jobs, also with the same level of professionalism. I would not hesitate to use them again and probably will as I have eight standard windows that will need replacement in the next few years.

Khaoula Kinidi: They offer high quality products, reliable installation, and good communication. Courteous crew who wore face masks during the visit. Worth it. The representative who came to give us a quote used a laser tool for precise measuring. He was very knowledgeable about all things glass. Their office was also prompt in their responses on phone and on email subsequently about the details of our order. They asked for photos from us to confirm the space and dimensions. On the day of installation, they came as promised and were on time. From the rep to the office staff to the installers, this company is professional and detail oriented. We are so happy that we have glass door now!

T D: Alex came to inspect three window with large cracks to give us an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable. We had him come to a second house a couple of days later. The free estimate was easy to set up and communication during the whole process was excellent. We plan to have Kennedy Glass inspect all our windows and make recommendations at a couple more houses. Our homes are very old and it is better to check and caulk the panes before the glass is lost. I showed Alex a fourth window and Alex noticed the caulk was lacking. He used a clear caulk so when it dried no one could notice it and a small crack in the window was sealed without replacement. Highly Recommend!

They asked for pictures of the glass I had broken via text and gave me an estimate immediately. Alex was the technician that came to my home and I can’t say enough about him. He was super professional, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. He gave made sure I was okay with the cost before he started and was finished within 15-20 minutes. He also let me know that there was a warranty included with the service (I had no idea). They were the first that I called, but I didn’t feel like I needed to look any further. Based on our research of highly rated companies, we called Metropolitan and met with the owner of the company the next day. The following day he provided a very competitive estimate and we immediately agreed. He came out the following day to remove the large glass from the door, filling in temporarily with a plywood insert. Less than a week later he was ready to install new argon sealed glass in windows and the door. The process went smoothly, and the owner was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Matthew Pickering: It was an easy choice for us to hire Mission Exteriors to handle our window replacement in DC. Compared to competitors, Mission’s price was competitive and the folks who came out to look at the job were incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. The windows were delivered earlier than expected and installed faster than estimated. Daniel was an excellent foreman and he and the rest of the workers treated our home with respect. We are enjoying a less drafty house this winter and love looking at the beautiful new windows installed by Mission Exteriors. Andrey Pankov: Overall, we had a great experience with Robert and his Mission Exteriors team. We had our entire front door and frame removed and new frame, door, and transom installed. The work turned out top notch even though there were a few setbacks in the ordering timeline. We absolutely recommend Mission Exteriors to others because at the end of the day, the results speak for themselves. There were a few issues along the way, but Robert did his best to minimize their impact on the overall project. Initially, the few door designs we wanted turned out to not be available from the manufacturer, so out of his control. Then the door that was available took longer than expected to construct and deliver. This unfortunately got in the way of another project we were doing with the front of the house. However, Robert did understand this, and took on some additional finish work at no cost, in order to make up for the delay and disruption. Finally, the actual installation and painting of the door, storm door, and trim also took longer than expected, which meant my wife or I needed to be home more days than originally anticipated. Another positive experience was the “sales” process. Robert came by to take a look at the old door and hear what we were looking for, had some options for us to see and really made the entire thing easy. No hard sale, just a quick turnaround with the quote. At the end of the day, I am rating Mission Exteriors a 4.5 of 5 because their work and finished product were top notch, but the timeline and fulfillment could have been better. I understand that ordering and installation can vary by project, so I don’t hold them at fault for many of the delays.
Christopher Naughten: After an exhaustive search and multiple quotes to replace two (2) sets of windows in our MCM house, I contacted Andersen Windows directly, who referred me to Mission Exteriors as one of their premier installers in the DC Area. Robert came out twice to measure and to provide an estimate in person. We contracted with them and scheduled an install of two (2) Andersen Series 400 sliders and four (4) Andersen Series 400 awning windows. I cannot express how delighted we are with the windows and the professional installation. Manolo and Alex were here for two (2) days and just were wonderful to work with. They were extremely respectful especially because half of their time was spent in our master bedroom. They were very professional and cleaned up the work areas each day. Excellent team. The windows are beautiful and functional. We already feel the insulation benefits. Angel, the painter and his crew followed up for two (2) more days and was able to stain the new windows and trim to a very close match to our existing Anderson Windows and trim. Cleaned up each day. Amazing job. The windows are beautiful and functional. We already feel the insulation benefits and the beauty of the matching windows. We wanted to keep true to the original Andersen Windows installed when the house was built in 1950 and updated in 1960. Mission Exteriors hit a home run.

We found everyone at Mission Exteriors easy to work with, professional, and knowledgeable of the products.Installation took a day and clean was completed in a timely manner. We are extremely satisfied homeowners.
Beth Newman: Robert and Roxie were friendly, professional, and never tired of my many questions about window replacement (or if they did they never let on). Of particular note with this company is they do not rely on high pressure kitchen table sales pitches like many other companies. You will not find them insisting you sign on the dotted line on their first visit. And ladies, of particular note, this company did not insist my husband be present for our conversations about money. (YES, so many local companies STILL do this but not Mission Exteriors) Prices provided were comprehensive and competitive. While ultimately window replacement on the scale we were considering, by a high quality design and build firm such as this, was not in our budget, we felt fairly treated by the knowledgeable sales team at Mission Exteriors throughout the exploration process.
Bob P: Mission Exteriors installed 21 Andersen Woodwright replacement windows in our house in Bethesda, as well as one vinyl sliding window in a basement window well, and did an excellent job. Robert the owner explained our choices, patiently answered all our questions, and remained engaged throughout the entire project. There was no annoying upsell, just some very thoughtful and objective suggestions on what options might work best, given the various sizes and locations of the existing windows. Daniel and his installation crew worked carefully and efficiently and ran an extremely clean and well-organized worksite. The job was finished on time, and clean-up was very thorough. We were very happy with the high quality of workmanship, as well as their solution to the problematical below-ground basement window that we thought would be too difficult to replace. We highly recommend Mission Exteriors, especially for the strong sense of craftsmanship that they bring to their work.
