Erica Smith: I need floor to ceiling glass sliding doors for a uniquely sized closet entrance. The Sliding Door Company did a great job with installation and they gave me a price that was cheaper than their competitors. I would definitely use their services again.
Minhae Choi: Despite what is written below that they strive for top customer service my recent experience of ordering a custom door was not only delayed (incorrectly quoted service timeline), there was no follow up updates on the delays, and lack of professional care from customer service team. After sending more than enough emails asking for updates, when I called the customer care team expressing my frustration, rather than a sincere apology and concrete actions to update me on next steps, my concerns were taken lightly and unimportantly. The door was installed after five months with a missing part; I have yet to receive the part for the door. Really a disappointment especially for a company that speaks so much towards quality and customer experience.
Stephanie Ambrose: I’m giving this positive review for the responsive and helpfulness of Jeremy. I’ve decided to go with built-ins for a space as opposed to the sliding glass doors; however, Jeremy was very kind and helpful. He was quick to understand my project and provide me with a quote. I have no doubt the project would have been in great hands if we had decided to go this route.
Peter Ohman: Came to the store on 14th St in DC to look at design and solutions for our room divider in Brooklyn, NY. Met Alex Harati who walked us through all the different alternatives and guided us with installation advice. He spent all the time we needed to figure out how we wanted things, very customer friendly and helpful even though he knew we would ultimately place our order somewhere else. Alex showed the true customer first loyalty. Many thanks.
Tom Bullotta: Initially responded to inquiry and spoke to Alex and then he never responded after follow-up emails and calls including time I took to take pics and measurements that were requested. A courtesy response at least would have been professional. Taking my business elsewhere

Camila Ruiz: Great experience with this company and would highly recommend! We had 15 doors replaced from cheap faux wood-grain to the "Manhattan" style door. The new doors are much sleeker and look high end. The owner came out to do initial measurements/inventory and we then came to the office for an appointment to look at door styles and get the official quote. Paint/doors/etc are priced separately but cost is very reasonable, considering everything gets taken care of: door disposal, new hinges, patching the frame. Doors come pre-painted with one of 4 paint color choices. The crew on install day were perfectionists and spent time making sure the doors aligned well in our older house. They cleaned up after themselves meticulously and were very friendly as well. We ordered doorknobs separately from Emtek. Yes shipping lead times are long, but this was disclosed upfront and is expected in any kind of contracting/construction work after COVID. Great service and communication throughout the entire process!
Eric Walzer: After getting a quote of $3500 to replace a single non-standard size door the old fashioned way, my online research led me to Simply Doors and Closets in Alexandria. They were really easy to work with, and having all the messy work done in their warehouse made the install easy. We wound up replacing every builder-grade door in our place with solid doors. The install went great, with all the doors installed in a single day with minimal mess. The guys who did the install obviously cared about the quality of their work, and took care of our place with virtually no mess. In the end, we replaced every door for a fraction of the price, with way less mess and disruption.
Thomas Spahn: My wife and I had never dealt with a closet remodeling company, but we have been delighted to work with Veronica and her team. We had about 10 closet doors throughout our house replaced with mirrored doors - which lighten up every room, and have received rave reviews from family, friends and visitors. We asked Veronica for her suggestions about installing closet organizers in a small walk-in closet and two other reach-in closets in our master bedroom. She thought of ways to re-do the small walk-in closet that we never would have considered, and had the perfect plan. Veronica‘s teams of installers were efficient, neat and incredibly polite. There were some understandable supply chain delays, but the work is now complete - and my wife and I are thrilled with the results. Veronica was so diligent and honest that she just alerted us that we had accidentally overpaid - and that she had shredded our last check. If you are thinking of remodeling your closets, you could not ask for a better company or representative.
Dave Burns: Simply Doors and Closets did a very nice job installing new doors as part of our mostly DIY basement do-over, and were very helpful in selecting the right doors. I installed new door jambs and trim as part of the reno work, and then one of their craftsmen came with a special device that allowed very accurate measurements for making and installing the new doors. The doors look great - the painting is done in the factory, with a very nice smooth and durable finish. The installation guys were very professional, and left everything clean when they were done. (March, 2022)
Deborah Zimet: Love my new doors throughout my condominium! Giovanni and his assistant were on time and diligent throughout the installation process. Any questions I had were immediately addressed . Would…and probably will in another condo…..use Simply Doors again.
Sue Mayty: We had twenty doors replaced recently, and the process was very smooth. There was a waiting time for the doors but so was for everything else we had on our house remodeling project. The installation was quick and the doors are beautiful. Everything was straightforward without any surprises or extra cost. We are very picky with our contractors and Simply Doors did a great job.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.
Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.
Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!
goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.
Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.
Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.
Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.
Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..
Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.
jamesbowdenjr: This is the worst Home Depot is in the entire country. I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.
Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.
DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.
Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

Helen Pender: The service I received from Medallion Security Door was very unprofessional. The door we purchase from Medallion is only 3 years and it has rust out and the lock on the door do not work. Please see the pictures on how the door just 3 years old
Esther Williams: Medallion Security Doors did an admirable job!!! I Just got my patio pavers completed and everything looks so beautiful, cannot wait to have my first gathering, so excited! The Medallion crew was hard working and clean. I never knew how much work is involved building a patio, they did an excellent job.
Shawn Carrington: I was referred by a friend to talk to a representative at Medallion who would be able to help with my family needs of installing a white, vinyl privacy fence. The fence that was installed looks amazing with many of my neighbors inquiring about the process of getting one installed. Medallion has definitely won more business with me as they also worked on my basement and deck door. With the amazing finance options, to include six months no interest/ same as cash, I plan to purchase an extension to my deck soon. Thank you Medallion for the great work and ensuring my family needs were met. I will be sure to call you again for our other needs.
David Ingold: Medallion installed both a vinyl fence, a patio, and a sun room for us. They did an outstanding job. It was a pleasure working with such a wonderful group of professionals. The construction crew were very meticulous and did fantastic work. All three projects look great. I highly recommend Medallion for fencing, patio, or sun room work. James, Mike, and the entire construction crew made this project very easy and painless.
Tiffany Jordan: I have been waiting for a fence to be installed since August, it’s December and still no fence. My salesperson was very attentive when the contract needed to be signed and they wanted my $2,800 deposit. They love to blame the county for the permit process but they didn’t send my information to the county until October. The county responded in 2 weeks requesting adjustments. Who knows when they resubmitted but 4 months of waiting and NO FENCE. I would never recommend this company to anyone at all ever!!! This has been the worst experience. Since August I’ve had trees removed, a new roof installed even bought a new car but NO FENCE!!!
Aaronita Perry: The professionalism of the Staff/Workers at Medallion Security Door and Window Company was a great experience. I first worked with Medallion Security Doors, getting security doors w/tints glass/screen and was very pleased. I also worked with Medallion for patio deck w/privacy walls and fence and was very pleased with both projects. I have received several complements for neighbors, friends and especially family. I look forward to working with Medallion on future projects. I will be retiring in the next seven years and I trust Medallion Company and staff to future projects and I recommend using their company, you will receive great work and you be secure in knowing they do have a warranty for all project. You will be Blessed. Thank you Medallion for being there for me.

Gary Berman: This is the second time I have used CC for installation of closet systems. My first experience was stellar leading to using them again. My second experience was not. Not only was the design poor and inefficient, it cost me more money because more wood was needed than necessary. The installer was sloppy in the installation. CC rebuilt part of my closet system because they agreed on the poor design and poor quality installation - good for them. But their redesign did not entirely fix the problem. Still there is a section of the closet needing repair and the re-installer was not prepared to fix it on site, so now they have to come back for a third time causing us to remove everything from the closet again. My recommendation is to study the plans and ask more questions than I did. My designer, Colleen Cuff, was newer to CC and that should have been a red flag. Lastly, CC did not refund me the amount of money that was wasted in the original design which they estimate was about $370 out of $8,000. Service: Cabinet construction & installation
Elizabeth Nova: I have used California Closets in 3 houses and their work is exceptional and the quality outstanding. My designer was pleasant, efficient and did an amazing job designing a new pantry and 3 large closets. The installer was on time and did an incredible job putting it all together and cleaning up after. The materials are so strong and dyrable and very beautiful. Shelves are adjustable. Please express my deep appreciation to the designer and installer. CC is worth every penny and I highly recommend them. Services: Cabinetry & hardware design , Closet design , Kitchen design
CH: Over the years I had excellent experiences with California Closet. Although the company exchanged hands. But, nevertheless I had the installations of my closets in my two condos by their excellent Designers and Installers. In the past, I worked with Marsha, Designer, and Ralph the installer; and most recently with Colleen Cuff, Designer who I highly recommend for her professionalism, efficiency, experience and follow-up through the installation phase. The installer Mr. Dong was just superb, efficient, courteous, meticulous and the work was flawless. Definetely I would recommend their services. Services: Cabinetry & hardware design , Closet design , Cabinet construction & installation
Wendy Patten: I used this company to install wall to wall bookshelves. I wanted something that we aesthetic but could really handle all my books. The designer did a great job meeting with us to review our needs and what we wanted. She kept flexible and submitted several options. We chose our favorite option. The installation was done in one day and done well. There was a need to come back for a small correction and they did a great job with that as well.
Carol Weiss: California Closets designed and installed a home office — wraparound desk with shelving, drawers, special inside cabinet for printer, etc. The designer did an excellent job translating my vision into a highly detailed concept drawing that fit some tricky dimensions including a window on one side of the desk. The designer provided options and guidance for materials and colors, and ensured the design was exactly what we wanted. Installation was meticulously carried out; the two techs were extremely professional and everything fit perfectly. They also thoroughly cleaned up poop afterwards. California Closets created a functional and high quality home office at a fraction of the cost that a custom design contractor would charge. We couldn’t be more pleased. Service: Custom furniture
Kendra Bacchus: The design process with Reza was great. My needs were taken into consideration 99% of the time. I knew what I wanted prior to meeting which made the process smooth. Once I signed off on design and made a deposit I waited roughly 3 months….which was expected in the height of the pandemic. When the installers arrived- the process took an entire day( was expected) the installer Franklin worked efficiently and communicated well when an issue would arise. At the end of the build Franklin walked me through the builds (Main closet and Laundry room). I was very pleased with the work executed. Later on after the installers left- my husband noticed that we were not able to access the water or electrical in Laundry room if an emergency were to occur-I promptly notified my designer and he said it was missed during the install and was in the original design. I also realized I could use a few more shelves in my main closet so I was able to order additional. It took a few months for the shelves to come in as well as the update to the missed opening for the laundry room. The shelves were not the right size and the opening that was cut was vey shotty. The new installer was able to cut shelves on site ( not the best quality) and the hole that was cut in order for us to access the water for washing machine was a mess… the integrity of the unit was compromised and I was told I could lose an entire shelf of storage. So…..waited a few more months a supervisor inspected the unit in laundry room, was told that the entire side needed to be replaced. Fast forward to a few more months….Installer came in tried to repair hole by using drywall caulk and blue painters tape. Not happy and I was told that they will be ordering a new panel …..still waiting. I paid for all services 100% (1 year of waiting for correction). Although I was extremely pleased with the overall install- my experience has deteriorated with how the small mistake has turned into uncertainty of the quality of my laundry room build. My designer Rena was excellent and the initial installer Franklin did an impeccable job with both the main closet and laundry room, so sad that a small miss made such a huge impact on overall service. Service: Closet design
AJ Finkelstein: I wanted to turn a mudroom into a pantry by lining it with open shelves. before I moved into my "new" 100-year-old house. The CC rep seemed a little doubtful at first but she embraced the concept. We spent one very productive evening on design and the deed was done. It took many months to get installed, which was a bit annoying, but it went smoothly when it finally happened. And the pantry is excellent, Service: Cabinet construction & installation
Neiletta Wright: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessI’ve had 3 closets done by California Closets and I’ve been satisfied everytime. My sales rep Jean-Paul was very professional and always available to answer any questions that I had. He also understood my vision and helped me create a closet that was best catered to my needs. Definitely recommend.

Mike Email: These guys are the best. Franklin and Paul always go above and beyond for me, putting up with my super attention to detail without a complaint. Consistently the best service and pricing, there’s literally no reason you should buy any moulding/trim, doors, etc from anywhere else. Forget Lowe’s, Home Depot, TW Perry - just go straight to Mouldings Inc, you won’t regret it. Better selection, better quality, and even better price.
Christopher Edmiston: Moulding Inc. stands behind their product. I got a defective piece and they offered to replace the piece or issue a refund.
Zelaya General Contractors LLC: is not what it looks like the closed doors are very afraid I do not know what if they lived in a third country, there are very afraid and there is only one person working
PG Cappello: We just bought crown mouldings and floor muoldings and trim for our new addition. We received 6 star service at Mouldings Inc, and whats more they delivered on a day that they were closed to allow our contractors to carry on working. The driver Joel was a super star for coming out to deliver on his day off. We really thank everyone at Mouldings for their one of a kind service. The prices were tremendous. The products were beautiful. I look forward to ordering my pillars for the porch once I can measure them and send them the info. I will never buy trim and mouldings anywhere else. Thanks for being an A plus company. Much better deals than at the big hardware stores and lumber yards
Kevin Andrews: Mouldings Inc. is absolutely wonderful and their customer service/person attention to your job/project needs are top notch. They have a large selection of material to fit your need. Franklin and Paul run a great operation with solid pricing options to fit any budget or project requirements. Thanks Guys!!!! Kevin A3 Real Estate Investments, LLC
Michelle N.: Like other reviewers expressed, very professional, pleasant, service oriented staff. Patiently answered questions and suggested products. In stock baseboard order was cut and placed in my car within minutes. Plenty of moulding options. Seems like warehouse stock made available within couple days although I only bought in stock. Better service, stock and price than box retailer.
Gunnar Lucko: Super nice via email and phone. Bright and well stocked store, which had the overlength unusual in real wood profile that I needed for our 1950s home. Paul I and Paul II went above and beyond, and even helped with loading. Now we just need to do more renovation so I can come back.
