When we arrived he was excited and ready to provide us with the best experience.He made us feel very comfortable and was extremely professional. We took pictures in a scenic nature setting to make up for a lack of professionally done photos at our wedding, and we could not have asked for a better photographer! The turn around for the pictures was within a month and when we got the photos we were in awe. He has a great eye and we were in love with every photo provided. Shikha Chaurasia: We had our engagement photoshoot with Mantas, and it went fantastically! He made it easy for us to be ourselves, and we felt the pictures managed to capture not just us, but our personalities. This lended itself to a rather unique invitation that we were happy with (the back included a picture of us chasing some geese). Our photoshoot was in a garden on a sunny day, I was wearing my favorite yellow dress… the photos are so wonderfully colorful! And yet one of our favorites happened to be a black and white one, I guess he’s just that good. Mantas also makes very creative use of the “props” available (geese that happened to be around, chairs that happened to be empty, an interesting perspective taken through a welcome sign that happened to be there). Definitely would recommend him!

Jennifer Spencer: My fiancé and I found Chris Ferenzi photography after a thorough web search. We liked his style and I was immediately drawn to his work. When I look at his photos I see a fresh perspective; crisp, clean pictures that look real and in the moment. I emailed Chris’ about his service and availability on a late Friday afternoon and he responded in less than two hours! Prior to booking our wedding date, Chris and I spoke over the phone for about an hour. Nidhi P: Arvin is an incredible and professional photographer! He photographed our outdoor wedding. Our ceremony was set up in a very sunny location; we asked if we should set up in a different location because of the sun, but Arvin assured us that we would not need to change the set up. The pictures came out beautifully. Arvin took pictures of our ceremony from all angles and there were no shadows or any lighting issues because of the sun. Arvin took candid shots of us and the guests, and he also took great portraits. For the portraits, he directs where people should stand/be to optimize the shots. He also has different camera lenses for great close-up shots. Arvin is really creative with this photography and captures shots from different viewpoints. He also captures all the little details that you put in to the ceremony. I am so happy with how beautifully the pictures turned out, all the pictures are a reminder of how wonderful the day was for us!

He was very familiar with our venue and knew where was the best spot to take pictures. My husband and myself we’re not “good” at picture postures. The weather was freezing and windy, but Arvin didn’t mind at all! He was very patient and was always looking for the perfect shot. Erin worked with us to make sure we were comfortable, and let us do our engagement shoot before signing a wedding contract. She’s incredibly professional, and we were so happy with the photos. We got her on contract after receiving our engagement photos, and we’re so glad we did. Working with her directly meant she had flexibility to work with us on all the details. She knew going into the wedding exactly what we wanted, and delivered. She made sure we stood up straight, that we were where we needed to be at all times, and the pictures came out better than we could have hoped. She worked quietly in the background all night, pulled us aside when needed, and was just constantly professional. We’ve received a number of unprompted compliments from family members on Erin. Not just on the pictures, but on the way she worked during the wedding itself. While we’re still waiting on the final set of pictures, I would definitely recommend Erin.

Stephanie Halsne: We hired Erin for our engagement photo session right DC opened back up after COVID. She was able to schedule us quickly despite dealing with a ton of reschedules. The day of the shoot she was super accommodating and patient working with us as we brought along our two dogs. She even brought a squeaky toy to hold their attention! The price was super reasonable, and Erin was able to get our photos back to us 9 days before we expected. Would recommend!

Chelsea S: Erin was great! We used her for our engagement photos first, and then signed on for our wedding photos. She was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We were very unaccustomed to being in front of the camera, especially for formal/professional pictures. She gave us excellent directions and made us feel much more at ease. We loved how our engagement photos turned out, but (almost) more importantly, they showed us what poses worked best and what we liked and didn’t like. We met with Erin to discuss all we’d learned during the engagement shoot, and she was really receptive, and excited that the first photo session had served its purpose of being a test run for the wedding. For the big day itself, Erin was amazing! She was, of course, prompt, and prepped and ready to go. She had visited our venue a few days prior and knew exactly where she wanted to photograph us. I (the bride) was running late, so she used this time to snap pics of my accessories, flowers, and dress. But she was also so much fun to chat with, and helped me stay calm! She remembered all the things we mentioned from our engagement session, and gave us lots of posing cues, and reminders to stand up straight and turn this way or that way, to make us look our best and most natural. With so many other things to remember on our big day, it was a huge weight off to have her take care of all that! We don’t have our full gallery of wedding photos yet, but the ‘sneak peek’ she sent out is awesome. It’s a really nice touch that she sends you a quick sample after your photo session, and has enabled us to share some beautiful memories with family and friends. We’re so excited to see the rest!

Erin made it work for my schedule and when he was going to be in town. She responded so quickly and provided so much information so that I was able to surprise my fiancé. Shony R: UPDATE 3/24/19: Long story short- we never received our "free prints" for the "positive reviews" we were requested to leave BY Erin, the photographer. After multiple attempts and paying for additional prints, Erin has dropped off the face of the earth, will not respond to any questions regarding what happened, and we still have not received our wedding photos (after providing 2 separate addresses)or a refund. While she did seem a bit impatient during our shoot, I assumed it was because of the humidity and time crunch we were under for the location. Now I believe that it was a part of her nature in that she did not want to put forth max effort to ensure her clients were satisfied with their results. Mostly beautiful photos, but not a professional experience overall. In my opinion, the experience before, during, and after contribute to the review. _______________________________ From beginning (planning a wedding in 2 months) to end, Erin was great! She made herself available to our special day and helped me be at ease with not knowing how this whole thing was supposed to go. She gave my husband and I exactly what we wanted (candid/depth/classic shots). And although she worked alone, based on our photos you would think there were two of her. She withstood the humidity with us, seemed mostly patient with our not so co-ordinated guests and wedding party, and let us know that she was there for us....not just to do a job. I would recommend Erin to anyone looking for an experienced, versatile, and timely photographer for their special day! She truly captures the moments that capture your heart. Josh Kusnick: Eylul and Justy Photography truly created a NIGHTMARE for our family. Eylul was the primary photographer for our wedding, and she lost all of the photos she took prior to the ceremony - bride getting ready with her mom and bridesmaids, first look with her father, portraits of the families - moments we will never get back. She has claimed that the memory card was damaged, got a quote to repair it and recover the photos but refused to do so because of the cost, and she will not provide us the memory cards to allow us to pay someone ourselves to recover the photos. It is that last point, and the completely inhumane treatment of our family that has made this experience so unconscionable. The contract stipulated that we should receive the wedding photos within 12 weeks. Around the 7th week we checked in, and we received no response. On the 11th week, we checked again. This was when we were informed for the first time of the loss of the photos. Eylul said she would send the damaged memory card to a data recovery company. When we called to follow up, she claimed that she had not received the results of the diagnostics yet. We later found out she had, she just did not want to pay for the services, and instead lied and told us she was still waiting on the diagnostic results. She also refused to allow the data company to speak with us directly, keeping us in the dark on the process. Eylul then stopped responding to us entirely and engaged her professional association to hire a lawyer (that same association, by the way, would partially cover the data recovery expenses, making the overall cost to Eylul relatively low – much less than what we paid for her photography). So now we’re dealing with a months-long legal process, all the while Eylul has refused to even just provide us the memory cards and allow us to attempt to retrieve these photos. She claims she cannot because there might be photos of other clients on the card. What photographer brings a partially full memory card to a wedding? More importantly, before we hired her, she told us that she uses dual memory cards to create a backup during the event, but clearly that wasn’t the case. And what kind of human treats someone like this? My wife has lost sleep every night since our wedding thinking about this and how horribly she’s been treated. Mistakes happen, I understand, and if from the beginning Eylul had notified us early of the problem and made every reasonable effort to fix it, I would have been disappointed but understanding. I cannot understand this at all. Hiring Eylul was a huge mistake, and I would not wish this on anyone.
