Svetlozara Denkova-Knight: Our family photo shoot with Mantas was such a delight as we got to enjoy not only getting the opportunity to create some wonderful long- lasting memories but also enjoy a great convo on parenthood and traveling abroad and in the US. Really a great photographer and a person. I had received a voucher prior to pandemic and he was extremely flexible and accommodating. Definitely if I decide on splurging on a good photographer for any event I’d look no further. Great time and absolutely gorgeous pictures!

Osbaldo Artkop: Mantas was absolutely incredible to work with. When we arrived he was excited and ready to provide us with the best experience.He made us feel very comfortable and was extremely professional. We took pictures in a scenic nature setting to make up for a lack of professionally done photos at our wedding, and we could not have asked for a better photographer! The turn around for the pictures was within a month and when we got the photos we were in awe. He has a great eye and we were in love with every photo provided. If you want an amazing photographer look no further. Trust me when I say you’ll want to have Mantas take the photos for your special occasion!
Shikha Chaurasia: We had our engagement photoshoot with Mantas, and it went fantastically! He made it easy for us to be ourselves, and we felt the pictures managed to capture not just us, but our personalities. This lended itself to a rather unique invitation that we were happy with (the back included a picture of us chasing some geese). Our photoshoot was in a garden on a sunny day, I was wearing my favorite yellow dress… the photos are so wonderfully colorful! And yet one of our favorites happened to be a black and white one, I guess he’s just that good. Mantas also makes very creative use of the “props” available (geese that happened to be around, chairs that happened to be empty, an interesting perspective taken through a welcome sign that happened to be there). Definitely would recommend him!

Laura Benvenuto: Adam was a breathe of fresh air and a delight from the first meeting. He made us feel comfortable and explained everything throughly and thoughtfully. He was always accessible and helped us through planning and postponing due to Covid. We were able to work with him for our micro wedding in 2020 and then again in 2021 for our bigger wedding - both occasion gave us the most amazing pictures that are now framed throughout out house. His infectious energy and expertise made us and our guest comfortable in front of the camera. Adam guided us through us all - from beginning to end - listening to all our requests and was able to anticipate and answer all questions. I would recommend a hundred times over!

Max Kushner: Chris photographed our wedding and engagement shoot in May - my husband and I could not be happier with the results. He perfectly captured family portraits, the ceremony, and perfect / accurate candid shots throughout the party. There are so many gems. He also helped us navigate the venue to ensure the photos would be perfect in the moment, and reviewed our planners schedule to make sure all the timings would work with photos Would absolutely recommend to all!
Daniel Manks: I am so happy with my decision to hire Chris to shoot our surprise proposal. He was very quick to reply to emails, and offered great advice on angles of the picture and where to do the actual proposal. My fiancé and I are so thrilled with how the pictures turned out. We hired Chris to capture some fun moments of us at our original wedding venue and some other spots around town. Once at our wedding venue (DAR), Chris captured us at our best. He focused on all the best angles, lighting, background, etc. Chris made us look better than we did on our wedding day! Man, we wish we hired him almost 6 years ago! We even brought our dog along for the photo shoot and Chris made sure to capture our pup in just the right light so he could shine too! We jumped around town to other locations and Chris was able to adapt to the location, figure out what would work for the picture. He was quick and he was exact. Chris was professional and able to provide suggestions on poses, backdrops etc. Chris was responsive whether it be email, phone or text. A breeze to work with! He teased us with a couple of photos before sending us the entire finished portfolio of pictures from our photo session and we knew then we’d have great photos. Again, I wish we had met Chris years ago because our wedding photos would have been 100x times better.
Gwen Karasevich: Chris captured our small wedding amazingly! The wedding was just close family, but we still wanted amazing pictures. Chris really delivered! Our pictures are gorgeous, and I couldn’t be happier. He was very flexible and extremely responsive to emails. He made sure everything went smoothly the day of. Jennifer Spencer: My fiancé and I found Chris Ferenzi photography after a thorough web search. We liked his style and I was immediately drawn to his work. When I look at his photos I see a fresh perspective; crisp, clean pictures that look real and in the moment. I emailed Chris’ about his service and availability on a late Friday afternoon and he responded in less than two hours! Prior to booking our wedding date, Chris and I spoke over the phone for about an hour. I gave him our background “story,” what we were looking for in a photographer, and of course what type of final products we wanted. I was undecided about how many actual pictures to purchase and if we should order a book, etc., and Chris help walked me through the options and let me make decisions along the way. I greatly appreciated his flexibility and patience. We truly enjoyed working with Chris and we love the final product. His website is simple to use, even my 85 year old mother-in-law easily navigated her way through it to order the photos she wanted. Chris and I are now working on an album and I’ll be ordering a few wall hangings from his site too.
Tyler Post: Chris took photos for my proposal to my fiancé. The photos came out perfect in every sense of the word. I had a rough idea of how I wanted the moment captured and Chris worked with me to build the image. His coordination and communication with you to create the image and the planning is outstanding. Karen Retana: Ruben was our photographer for our engagement photoshoot this spring. We really wanted the popular Japanese Cherry Blossoms in our pictures. We were afraid there would be too many people and the pictures would not turn out great, but Ruben found the perfect spots and was very patient to wait for the right moments. We also took our dog with us, whom he managed to incorporate in some of the photos. Would hire him as our wedding photographer if we were getting married locally!
Chase Frazier: I proposed to my now wife in front of the memorial and had Ruben meet us there. It was a great experience, and we love a lot of the pictures he took. We had a lot of fun around the D.C. area taking pictures with him. It was a great value for the almost 400 pictures we took.
Steve Fanning: My wife and I interfaced with several photographers before choosing Ruben. Check out his website for an idea of what his work looks like. He is a press photographer as well as a wedding photographer, so this gave us confidence that he would be able to capture fleeting moments at the ceremony and reception that we have seen many other photographers miss at other weddings. Our impressions with Ruben were right on, he captured amazing moments that went by very quickly as well as spectacular wedding party shots that are not your typical staunch posed formal types (although I’m sure he would accommodate that if you want it). We met with Ruben prior to the wedding for an engagement photo shoot and it was well worth it. We all got to know each other a bit and establish a rapport and comfortableness that was really great during the wedding. He was also highly flexible with our requests and accommodating with time issues if things ran long here or there. The end product was simply amazing, the work he does truly takes talent and we are so happy with the pictures we ended up with that captured so many great moments we will cherish forever. Miriam Richardson: Kate made the whole shoot a truly FUN experience. Kate was so comfortable to be around, and her personality made it easy to be ourselves! She had the best attention to detail. Not only is she an excellent photographer but she truly cares about her clients, which showed in how she paid attention to detail like fixing a stray hair or a wrinkled shirt. She also was AMAZING at posing us when we had no idea what we were doing! She knew all the poses and never missed a beat. But she also let us be ourselves which was so fun. Kate is creative, so kind, professional, and responsive. I cant say enough good things about the quality of the photos she took and the whole experience. I have never had a photo shoot produce SO MANY great quality photos. These will be memories captured forever.

Amanda Lewis: Y’all, when all is said and done, no one on earth will have taken more professional photos of my husband and I than Katie will! We found Katie after the photographer that we hired originally, arrived to our engagement session WITHOUT a camera. I was frantic! I was 6 months out from our wedding and concerned that we would have trouble finding an open date with someone new, but Katie responded and was able to not only able to cover our wedding date, but VERY quickly fit us in for a mini engagement session. She’s so efficient that when we got our photos back, I was amazed at how many angles she got of the ceremony, because I don’t remember seeing her moving about. Jenny Pozinsky: Let me begin by saying that we could not have made a better decision than to have Potok’s World Photography capture our wedding day. Pete and Anji checked off every single box for us… quality of work, responsiveness, likeability, etc. We fell in love with their style as soon as we laid eyes on their online portfolio. Their quality of work was apparent, so we were already more than interested… and this is before we got to know them. Pete and Anji’s work is nothing short of remarkable, but we were so happy to find out that as good of photographers that they are, they are even better people! We got to know Pete and Anji through a number of zoom meetings before the wedding and they just made us SO comfortable. They are easy to talk to, and their banter with one another is charming. They are such a fun and loving couple, and they work very well together. They acted as an extension of our wedding party, and were so effortless in their ability to capture all our special moments, we didn’t even know they were there! Total pros. We were blown away when we received our album, and our families went nuts about every single picture. What we love most about our photos is that Pete and Anji capture FEELINGS. Sure, there were plenty of “posed” photos (couples, family pictures, etc.) but their action shots are pure gold. Check out their website, you will see for yourself. To sum it all up, we went out looking for a photographer, and we are so proud to say that we came back with BEAUTIFUL photos, and a pair of lifelong friends.

Mark Baker: My wife and I met Pete & Anji through a mutual friend after them capturing their special day. After our initial consultation we were immediately impressed with their presentation, knowledge, and organization of their information. We began planning a destination wedding and wanted to have them as part of our special day. Through the planning process they were easily accessible and and had great communication leading up to our special day. On our wedding day they snapped away and we barely noticed they were there. They were able to capture all of the photos we wanted without being asked and even enjoyed the reception with us as we danced the night away! Nidhi P: Arvin is an incredible and professional photographer! He photographed our outdoor wedding. Our ceremony was set up in a very sunny location; we asked if we should set up in a different location because of the sun, but Arvin assured us that we would not need to change the set up. The pictures came out beautifully. Arvin took pictures of our ceremony from all angles and there were no shadows or any lighting issues because of the sun. Arvin took candid shots of us and the guests, and he also took great portraits. For the portraits, he directs where people should stand/be to optimize the shots. He also has different camera lenses for great close-up shots. Arvin is really creative with this photography and captures shots from different viewpoints. He also captures all the little details that you put in to the ceremony. I am so happy with how beautifully the pictures turned out, all the pictures are a reminder of how wonderful the day was for us!

Junyi Wang: Arvin and his assistant worked as the photographer for our wedding ceremony. He was very professional and humorous. He was very familiar with our venue and knew where was the best spot to take pictures. My husband and myself we’re not “good” at picture postures. We had pictures taken in postures and we also had pictures taken while my husband and I were just walking and talking to each other. The pictures show our happiness from every detail. The weather was freezing and windy, but Arvin didn’t mind at all! He was very patient and was always looking for the perfect shot. The dreary winter sky was enhanced to give it more pop and the black and white photos were so dramatic. He even Photoshopped my wife’s dirty shoe sole that was visible in one of the photos. Lisa L: WOW! Just WOW! Had to schedule a graduation photo shoot from Texas for my daughter in DC. Not only did Damon make every step so easy but after talking with him on the phone and getting to know him a bit I was even more excited to work with him. He is exceptional...Literally, no other way to describe him. His work style, sense of humor, creativity, patience, you name it are all incredible. The pics we received were outstanding too! Keep in mind that we had no easy task for him... juggling a blended family, a morning when bad weather threatened and a senior pup, he juggled it all effortlessly and made for one of the best and most fun photo sessions I have ever been a part of. I arrived for my headshot session and he was friendly, accommodating and explained the whole process to me as this was my first headshot experience. Although admittedly self conscious, Damon talked me through as he was taking photographs. We looked at photos together and decided whether to take more or whether we had winners. He was encouraging and enthusiastic. He captured my image and most of all, captured my essence. I felt really good after the session and felt confident that the photo we decided upon was the best to present to the world. I cannot recommend Damon highly enough. Caroline Leverett: I hired Erin for my wedding photographer and she did such an amazing job! The pictures came out fabulous! She had the exact look I was going for and the pictures truly looked like they were suppose to be on the cover of a bridal magazine! She also did a great job with direction and getting everyone who was getting their picture taken to take her direction. I would definitely recommend her!

We got her on contract after receiving our engagement photos, and we’re so glad we did. Working with her directly meant she had flexibility to work with us on all the details. She knew going into the wedding exactly what we wanted, and delivered. She made sure we stood up straight, that we were where we needed to be at all times, and the pictures came out better than we could have hoped. She worked quietly in the background all night, pulled us aside when needed, and was just constantly professional. We’ve received a number of unprompted compliments from family members on Erin. Not just on the pictures, but on the way she worked during the wedding itself. While we’re still waiting on the final set of pictures, I would definitely recommend Erin.
Stephanie Halsne: We hired Erin for our engagement photo session right DC opened back up after COVID. She was able to schedule us quickly despite dealing with a ton of reschedules. The day of the shoot she was super accommodating and patient working with us as we brought along our two dogs. She even brought a squeaky toy to hold their attention! The price was super reasonable, and Erin was able to get our photos back to us 9 days before we expected. Would recommend!
Chelsea S: Erin was great! We used her for our engagement photos first, and then signed on for our wedding photos. She was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We were very unaccustomed to being in front of the camera, especially for formal/professional pictures. She gave us excellent directions and made us feel much more at ease. We loved how our engagement photos turned out, but (almost) more importantly, they showed us what poses worked best and what we liked and didn’t like. We met with Erin to discuss all we’d learned during the engagement shoot, and she was really receptive, and excited that the first photo session had served its purpose of being a test run for the wedding. For the big day itself, Erin was amazing! She was, of course, prompt, and prepped and ready to go. She had visited our venue a few days prior and knew exactly where she wanted to photograph us. I (the bride) was running late, so she used this time to snap pics of my accessories, flowers, and dress. But she was also so much fun to chat with, and helped me stay calm! She remembered all the things we mentioned from our engagement session, and gave us lots of posing cues, and reminders to stand up straight and turn this way or that way, to make us look our best and most natural. With so many other things to remember on our big day, it was a huge weight off to have her take care of all that! We don’t have our full gallery of wedding photos yet, but the ‘sneak peek’ she sent out is awesome. It’s a really nice touch that she sends you a quick sample after your photo session, and has enabled us to share some beautiful memories with family and friends. We’re so excited to see the rest!

Hira H: Erum photographed my wedding in March 2012 and did a fantastic job! She really has a great eye and can make something ordinary look extraordinary. I highly recommend booking with her - she books up fast so you have to be quick! She also listens very well and really tries to get to know you and your style and incorporate that into her photos. I really liked non-traditional whimsical photos, and she captured a lot of that in the finished photos. Overall great photographer, friendly, kind and detail oriented.
