When I look at his photos I see a fresh perspective; crisp, clean pictures that look real and in the moment. Prior to booking our wedding date, Chris and I spoke over the phone for about an hour. Osbaldo Artkop: Mantas was absolutely incredible to work with. When we arrived he was excited and ready to provide us with the best experience.He made us feel very comfortable and was extremely professional. We took pictures in a scenic nature setting to make up for a lack of professionally done photos at our wedding, and we could not have asked for a better photographer! The turn around for the pictures was within a month and when we got the photos we were in awe. He has a great eye and we were in love with every photo provided. If you want an amazing photographer look no further. Trust me when I say you’ll want to have Mantas take the photos for your special occasion!

Shikha Chaurasia: We had our engagement photoshoot with Mantas, and it went fantastically! He made it easy for us to be ourselves, and we felt the pictures managed to capture not just us, but our personalities. This lended itself to a rather unique invitation that we were happy with (the back included a picture of us chasing some geese). Our photoshoot was in a garden on a sunny day, I was wearing my favorite yellow dress… the photos are so wonderfully colorful! And yet one of our favorites happened to be a black and white one, I guess he’s just that good. Mantas also makes very creative use of the “props” available (geese that happened to be around, chairs that happened to be empty, an interesting perspective taken through a welcome sign that happened to be there). Definitely would recommend him!

Margie Dwight: Damon Bowe is an incredibly talented photographer! I arrived for my headshot session and he was friendly, accommodating and explained the whole process to me as this was my first headshot experience. Although admittedly self conscious, Damon talked me through as he was taking photographs. We looked at photos together and decided whether to take more or whether we had winners. He was encouraging and enthusiastic. He captured my image and most of all, captured my essence. I felt really good after the session and felt confident that the photo we decided upon was the best to present to the world. I cannot recommend Damon highly enough. I will definitely call upon his talents in the future. He also couldn’t have been nicer! You are in very capable, experienced and gifted hands with Damon!

Lauren Vorisek: Although I was initially a bit skeptical about getting professional headshots taken as I embarked on a career change, I quickly realized how valuable a good photographer is. Damon was not only friendly and professional, but he has great advice about angles and how to pose. He was able to help me pull off that illusive mix of appearing confident without seeming cocky, and serious yet approachable. Damon has a great eye for detail and he has the patience to help steer you to the perfect look. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The hardest part was picking my favorite look.

Leanna Pomponio: I hired Liz for my DC wedding in August 2018. Liz is extremely responsive, professional, personable, and produces the highest quality photography. I had no idea how much planning goes into the photography portion of the wedding (timeline, shot list, backup weather plans, transportation timing, etc.) and I am so lucky to have had Liz help guide me through this process – she was always a phone call away whenever I needed to run something by her. Liz first did our engagement shoot –Liz was extremely accommodating and rescheduled multiple times to try and catch the DC cherry blossoms at their peak. I am so happy we did the engagement shoot with her first – this allowed us to get to know one another and get used to posing. I’d say it was most important for my now husband who isn’t one to want to take lots of photos – he loved Liz and I felt like he could have kept going with the pictures all day. Now on to the wedding day photos – I’m overwhelmed with which photos to choose for my wedding album because I love them all; she also provides every photo in both color and B&W. Liz made everyone feel comfortable – my family, friends, etc. during the formal shoots outside in front of the Capitol. Whenever I’d start to worry about timeline, Liz eased my nerves and told me that was not my concern and we are on track. Having Liz by my side all day ended up being more beneficial/comforting than my day of coordinator – she even helped us figure out how to bustle my dress when we were struggling. Liz was on a mission to make sure we got all of the photos I requested in my shot list and yet Liz & her assistant photographer were hardly noticeable during the ceremony and reception (which is the way it should be!). I was worried about the reception pictures since it was outside at night with dim lighting but the pictures came out clear and bright. Liz provides first look engagement and wedding photos within a few weeks after the shoot and then full photos a few weeks later – she was never late on any date she told me she would have the photos by. Her online album to view the photos is great and makes it easy to share with others and download the photos in different resolutions. If you are looking for a photographer that takes pride in their work, has a sense of humor, takes the time to get to know you and customize the experience to what is most important to you, and of course – produces stunning high quality photography at a reasonable price– then Liz is your girl.

Kaitlin Bigger: Liz is an incredible photographer, and wonderful person to have on your team as you plan your wedding. She was so supportive when our plans began to change due to the coronavirus pandemic. Liz is professional and prompt, and did an excellent job keeping our wedding on schedule and capturing every meaningful moment. Liz also took our engagement photos at the tidal basin during peak bloom of the cherry blossoms. She captured the natural beauty of that area so perfectly, and made us feel very comfortable in front of her camera. We will cherish those photos for many years to come. I truly cannot say enough nice things about Liz, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer that they can trust and depend on to not only deliver incredible photos, but to also make sure that your wedding day is everything you imagined and more.

After our initial consultation we were immediately impressed with their presentation, knowledge, and organization of their information. We began planning a destination wedding and wanted to have them as part of our special day. Josh Tarrant: Carol was perfect! I reached out a few months prior to a ceremony in the National Archives Museum of DC. It’s a low-light room where historical documents are displayed and no personal photography is allowed for their protection (no flash). Carol was easy to work with, engaging with my guests, and I am thrilled with the end result. Her price was fair, and although I can buy prints through her site, she did not require me to. She was very responsive, friendly and captured beautiful images of a treasured memory I can hold on to forever. Highly recommend!

She’s captured multiple family milestones for us (maternity, newborn, family, etc.) and I’m always 110% satisfied with the final images. Her photos are crisp, natural yet bright, and she’s super helpful to guide you along on how to stand, where to look, what to do with your hands, etc. This makes for a relaxing, enjoyable photo session. I never know how she manages to get such great shots of my toddlers, but she always does! Her photos are among my most treasured family possessions, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Heather Tully: I don’t think I can share enough about how simply wonderful Sarah is to work with. She has a true gift when it comes to photography. We’re going on year 5 of family pictures with her and each time she is able to give us images that are timeless and that showcase the individual personalities of both of my children. If I had only one negative about Sarah, it would be that I love ALL of her images and I find it so hard to choose which ones to print and include on holiday cards!

Stephanie Halsne: We hired Erin for our engagement photo session right DC opened back up after COVID. She was able to schedule us quickly despite dealing with a ton of reschedules. The day of the shoot she was super accommodating and patient working with us as we brought along our two dogs. She even brought a squeaky toy to hold their attention! The price was super reasonable, and Erin was able to get our photos back to us 9 days before we expected. Would recommend!

Chelsea S: Erin was great! We used her for our engagement photos first, and then signed on for our wedding photos. She was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We were very unaccustomed to being in front of the camera, especially for formal/professional pictures. She gave us excellent directions and made us feel much more at ease. We loved how our engagement photos turned out, but (almost) more importantly, they showed us what poses worked best and what we liked and didn’t like. We met with Erin to discuss all we’d learned during the engagement shoot, and she was really receptive, and excited that the first photo session had served its purpose of being a test run for the wedding. For the big day itself, Erin was amazing! She was, of course, prompt, and prepped and ready to go. She had visited our venue a few days prior and knew exactly where she wanted to photograph us. I (the bride) was running late, so she used this time to snap pics of my accessories, flowers, and dress. But she was also so much fun to chat with, and helped me stay calm! She remembered all the things we mentioned from our engagement session, and gave us lots of posing cues, and reminders to stand up straight and turn this way or that way, to make us look our best and most natural. With so many other things to remember on our big day, it was a huge weight off to have her take care of all that! We don’t have our full gallery of wedding photos yet, but the ‘sneak peek’ she sent out is awesome. It’s a really nice touch that she sends you a quick sample after your photo session, and has enabled us to share some beautiful memories with family and friends. We’re so excited to see the rest!
