Evan Anthony: We hired Sam as the photographer for our wedding in Haymarket, VA, and he was simply amazing and a true professional. Sam photographed our engagement session as well as the wedding. Working with him for our engagement shoot, and seeing the results only furthered our excitement to work with Sam for our wedding. It is hard to put into words how happy we are after working with him. One thing that we love about Sam is his amazing eye for phenomenal shots. This is very evident after looking through his work. We decided to work with Sam after a phone call where we learned more about him, and expressed the vision for our wedding. In addition to shots after the ceremony, Sam brought us outside for pictures during sunset, as well as moonlit pictures towards the end of the night. We feel that Sam goes above and beyond in his work. He is truly talented, and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Sam if you are looking for a photographer for your event
The Mbimbas: We had the best time during our engagement session with Sam! We were so nervous, but his calm presence made us so comfortable and we were laughing the whole time. He was professional and on time even though he had to drive all the way to Delaware! We love our photos so much and cannot wait for him to shoot our big day. We had to reschedule our wedding because of Covid and chose a date based on Sam’s availability - that’s how much we love his work. He really is an artist. His use of crystals, “ring of fire” and other techniques create such stunning images. I am editing my review because our wedding occurred and it was the best day ever! Sam was so calm and professional. The day went perfectly and I am so excited to see the photos from sunset. Throughout this wedding procession he has quickly and calmly answered all of my questions without getting frustrated. He truly is a gem! If you are looking for colorful, unique photos and a chill, but extremely talented photographer, this is your guy!
Sara Modlin: Wow! What an incredible find! So lucky to have found the PERFECT wedding photographer for our wedding. Throughout our planning process with COVID, Sam was always extremely responsive. On the wedding day, Sam was extremely chill and our wedding party informed us of how much they enjoyed working with him. Sometimes, people may find photos overwhelming but Sam’s experience wasn’t at all. It was easy and enjoyable. Sam shocked us by finding a hidden gem of a location to take our wedding photos. We didn’t even think of this spot. There wasn’t much greenery at our location, and somehow he found a gorgeous area full of trees and perfect lighting. Sam is extremely talented. His photos are not the boring wedding photos that all look the same. His photos have so much character and color. He’s great at not only capturing candid moments, but also great at photographing the wedding decor (flowers, etc). He really impressed us with how many different photos he was able to take during the ceremony & reception. Would highly recommend!! .

He also helped us pose for the pictures since we were not very good at it while at the same time capturing those natural moments that really illustrated our love. Lisa L: WOW! Just WOW! Had to schedule a graduation photo shoot from Texas for my daughter in DC. Not only did Damon make every step so easy but after talking with him on the phone and getting to know him a bit I was even more excited to work with him. He is exceptional...Literally, no other way to describe him. His work style, sense of humor, creativity, patience, you name it are all incredible. The pics we received were outstanding too! Keep in mind that we had no easy task for him... juggling a blended family, a morning when bad weather threatened and a senior pup, he juggled it all effortlessly and made for one of the best and most fun photo sessions I have ever been a part of. I had initially chosen Damon based on the ratings on here and boy they did not let me down. If you are looking for someone with imagination, great communication and a fantastic eye for capturing a special moment in your life book Damon now!!! You will NOT regret it! I only regret that he is so far away from us in Texas..... :)

I arrived for my headshot session and he was friendly, accommodating and explained the whole process to me as this was my first headshot experience. Although admittedly self conscious, Damon talked me through as he was taking photographs. We looked at photos together and decided whether to take more or whether we had winners. He was encouraging and enthusiastic. He captured my image and most of all, captured my essence. I felt really good after the session and felt confident that the photo we decided upon was the best to present to the world. I cannot recommend Damon highly enough. I will definitely call upon his talents in the future. He also couldn’t have been nicer! You are in very capable, experienced and gifted hands with Damon!

Svetlozara Denkova-Knight: Our family photo shoot with Mantas was such a delight as we got to enjoy not only getting the opportunity to create some wonderful long- lasting memories but also enjoy a great convo on parenthood and traveling abroad and in the US. Really a great photographer and a person. I had received a voucher prior to pandemic and he was extremely flexible and accommodating. When we arrived he was excited and ready to provide us with the best experience.He made us feel very comfortable and was extremely professional. We took pictures in a scenic nature setting to make up for a lack of professionally done photos at our wedding, and we could not have asked for a better photographer! The turn around for the pictures was within a month and when we got the photos we were in awe. He has a great eye and we were in love with every photo provided. If you want an amazing photographer look no further. Trust me when I say you’ll want to have Mantas take the photos for your special occasion!
Shikha Chaurasia: We had our engagement photoshoot with Mantas, and it went fantastically! He made it easy for us to be ourselves, and we felt the pictures managed to capture not just us, but our personalities. This lended itself to a rather unique invitation that we were happy with (the back included a picture of us chasing some geese). Our photoshoot was in a garden on a sunny day, I was wearing my favorite yellow dress… the photos are so wonderfully colorful! And yet one of our favorites happened to be a black and white one, I guess he’s just that good. Mantas also makes very creative use of the “props” available (geese that happened to be around, chairs that happened to be empty, an interesting perspective taken through a welcome sign that happened to be there). Definitely would recommend him!

Max Kushner: Chris photographed our wedding and engagement shoot in May - my husband and I could not be happier with the results. He perfectly captured family portraits, the ceremony, and perfect / accurate candid shots throughout the party. There are so many gems. He also helped us navigate the venue to ensure the photos would be perfect in the moment, and reviewed our planners schedule to make sure all the timings would work with photos Would absolutely recommend to all!
Daniel Manks: I am so happy with my decision to hire Chris to shoot our surprise proposal. He was very quick to reply to emails, and offered great advice on angles of the picture and where to do the actual proposal. My fiancé and I are so thrilled with how the pictures turned out. We hired Chris to capture some fun moments of us at our original wedding venue and some other spots around town. Once at our wedding venue (DAR), Chris captured us at our best. He focused on all the best angles, lighting, background, etc. Chris made us look better than we did on our wedding day! Man, we wish we hired him almost 6 years ago! We even brought our dog along for the photo shoot and Chris made sure to capture our pup in just the right light so he could shine too! We jumped around town to other locations and Chris was able to adapt to the location, figure out what would work for the picture. He was quick and he was exact. Chris was professional and able to provide suggestions on poses, backdrops etc. Chris was responsive whether it be email, phone or text. A breeze to work with! He teased us with a couple of photos before sending us the entire finished portfolio of pictures from our photo session and we knew then we’d have great photos. Again, I wish we had met Chris years ago because our wedding photos would have been 100x times better.
Gwen Karasevich: Chris captured our small wedding amazingly! The wedding was just close family, but we still wanted amazing pictures. Chris really delivered! Our pictures are gorgeous, and I couldn’t be happier. He was very flexible and extremely responsive to emails. He made sure everything went smoothly the day of. Jennifer Spencer: My fiancé and I found Chris Ferenzi photography after a thorough web search. We liked his style and I was immediately drawn to his work. When I look at his photos I see a fresh perspective; crisp, clean pictures that look real and in the moment. I emailed Chris’ about his service and availability on a late Friday afternoon and he responded in less than two hours! Prior to booking our wedding date, Chris and I spoke over the phone for about an hour. I gave him our background “story,” what we were looking for in a photographer, and of course what type of final products we wanted. I was undecided about how many actual pictures to purchase and if we should order a book, etc., and Chris help walked me through the options and let me make decisions along the way. Tyler Post: Chris took photos for my proposal to my fiancé. The photos came out perfect in every sense of the word. I had a rough idea of how I wanted the moment captured and Chris worked with me to build the image. His coordination and communication with you to create the image and the planning is outstanding. Laura Benvenuto: Adam was a breathe of fresh air and a delight from the first meeting. He made us feel comfortable and explained everything throughly and thoughtfully. He was always accessible and helped us through planning and postponing due to Covid. We were able to work with him for our micro wedding in 2020 and then again in 2021 for our bigger wedding - both occasion gave us the most amazing pictures that are now framed throughout out house. His infectious energy and expertise made us and our guest comfortable in front of the camera. Adam guided us through us all - from beginning to end - listening to all our requests and was able to anticipate and answer all questions. I would recommend a hundred times over!

dekayla johnson: It really doesn’t get any better. I have the upmost respect for the company they are amazing. So very professional and organized two of the vest things a company can be in my opinion. They are very respectful as well and made me feel so comfortable. Nafa was my photographer she was so professional and easy going she made everything so perfect help me through my poses and posture just everything, she made me feel so beautiful like I was a model!! The assistants Sarah and there was another one I forgot her name they were so helpful and professional as well. Every penny I paid was worth it. The experience was amazing so fun. They provided literally almost everything from wardrobe, accessories jewelry, props, etc. They are so patient and understanding I had to take a small break from getting overwhelmed and exhausted and they were so understanding and waited till I was ready I was shooting for 2 hours which was great because I was able to get so many pictures. My time at Judah Avenue was perfect and I would recommend anyone to book an appointment with this company. I can go on and on but I will leave it here. Jenny Pozinsky: Let me begin by saying that we could not have made a better decision than to have Potok’s World Photography capture our wedding day. Pete and Anji checked off every single box for us… quality of work, responsiveness, likeability, etc. We fell in love with their style as soon as we laid eyes on their online portfolio. Their quality of work was apparent, so we were already more than interested… and this is before we got to know them. Pete and Anji’s work is nothing short of remarkable, but we were so happy to find out that as good of photographers that they are, they are even better people! We got to know Pete and Anji through a number of zoom meetings before the wedding and they just made us SO comfortable. They are easy to talk to, and their banter with one another is charming. They are such a fun and loving couple, and they work very well together. They acted as an extension of our wedding party, and were so effortless in their ability to capture all our special moments, we didn’t even know they were there! Total pros. We were blown away when we received our album, and our families went nuts about every single picture. What we love most about our photos is that Pete and Anji capture FEELINGS. Sure, there were plenty of “posed” photos (couples, family pictures, etc.) but their action shots are pure gold. Check out their website, you will see for yourself. To sum it all up, we went out looking for a photographer, and we are so proud to say that we came back with BEAUTIFUL photos, and a pair of lifelong friends.

After our initial consultation we were immediately impressed with their presentation, knowledge, and organization of their information. We began planning a destination wedding and wanted to have them as part of our special day. Gianina Lash: 100% recommend! came to them with a time-sensitive need for a battery charger for an older DSLR camera that we needed to use for an event 8 hours later. they helped us find a store that had the right type of charger in stock and charged the battery for us in the meantime. So impressed with their service and help when we were in a pinch!
Michael Sanchez: Brought in my Canon AE-1 Program to repair a jam, which they were able to do, albeit expensively (they were very transparent with costs throughout the process). The repair seems to have worked great, however the mirror is now extremely dirty, which is why I’m docking one star. Overall happy with the repair but definitely make sure to check everything before accepting your camera.

As a professional photographer, I always appreciate the hospitable customer service as well as the great selection of products that are competitively priced when compared to online retailers like Amazon or B&H. Tatiana took the time to make sure that she surveyed the winery/outdoor venue where my daughter, Brooklyn and her now husband, Levi, were married last summer.
