Sebastian L. Cooper: Ordered a small arrangement as my partner started as a teacher in a new school. Gave a base flower and some colors and they NAILED THE REST. It was beautiful and my partner was elated! It was even completed way before I was scheduled to pick it up and resting in a fridge. Excellent service and will be using them again!
Samantha Tausendschoen: We ordered the white rose arrangement and used the flowers for our bouquets and the greenery for our tables. It looked fabulous! The roses were big and gorgeous, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Jacob Rosenbacher: Hurts me to put this business on blast — it’s local and in a difficult industry. Moreover, this specific business has overcome generification. However, I had the worst flower shop experience of my life here. I waited to speak to a sales associate and I was mocked when I gave my description of the flowers. Not once, not twice, but three times. The colors I was looking for “earthy tones” are “exactly what all flowers” look like… fair. However, I was pretty understanding but it was said very harshly and not humorously. It was nothing but pretentious especially from this preppy older white dude in a cardigan. I then tried to describe it again, “something very natural looking and duller tones”. I was unceremoniously met with “all flowers are natural”… thanks dude. Suffice to say it was rude, 100 dollars for a smaller bouquet, and the selection was terrible compared to all other flower shops I’ve visited. Btw to the guy who reads this, I’ve walked into a dozen other flower shops… no one else thinks this is a poor description.

Daria Kirilenko: Nice people and pretty flowers. But the peonies were $16 a stem. Still decided to treat myself and got a dozen. Flowers sadly lasted only 2 and a half days and that’s with me cutting the stems and changing the water. Just sad…
Parker Asmann: Lovely flower shop that’s been around for decades. Grade-A experience. I’d recommend anyone looking for flowers and a beautiful bouquet to go to Lee’s. I also picked up a nice candle and card to accompany the bouquet. Wonderful service as well. I had a great chat with the woman working.

Melanie Guinan: My mom is visiting me from Germany and my uncle ordered flowers to be sent for her birthday yesterday. The order was for 9 am and the flowers came at 6:45 pm. Good that we had not left for dinner yet as they were just left at our front door. Nobody called, texted or knocked on the door to let us know. The bouquet looked droopy and most of the roses had areas where they started to dry out (see photo). It seemed that the flowers were either from the day before or in the delivery van all day. Not fresh looking at all! I feel bad for my uncle and the money he spent on this. I left a message last night as soon as the flowers came, but so far nobody has called me back and I don’t expect to hear from them… They already got paid and from the other reviews I see on here now, they don’t seem to care!
Kenneth Ha: Update: FTD was wonderful and gave me a full refund without hassle. That does not change my opinion about 14th street flowers, in fact it only makes me more suspicious of 14th street flower’s business. From reading other reviews it seems 14th street flowers uses 3rd party orders to dump bad/old product. Absolute garbage. Ordered thru FTD and unfortunately these guys picked up the order. They sent flowers that were well past their prime and the ballon was deflated. Their driver apparently can’t get to Alexandria, VA in a timely manner. That said, I have no idea why a DC florist was used for an Alexandria delivery, regardless the driver contacted the recipient and ruined the surprise because she was “rerouted.” FYI these were ordered two days before delivery. The business did manage to get the order to the address, but it was after the recipient left from their full eight hour day, and later then the ETA giving in the I’m running behind text. Anyhow, my girlfriend connected the florist on my behalf because of how dissatisfied she was with the service that cost me well over $100. I had no idea she contacted them till just now. She thought Flowers on 14th would of contacted me to make it right. They have yet to contact me and from reading other reviews it seems they’ll blame FTD, so now I will now try to recoup with FTD and get them dropped as a partner. A little more info, this is the first time I have used FTD. In the past, I always used 1-800-flowers, and after this experience I’ll never FTD again. If you’d like your joyous, heartfelt gesture treated with no care while helping out a flower shop, that doesn’t care about customer service, cut costs by using subpar flowers go ahead and use this terrible shop.
Andrea Briones: Great Customer Service was provided for my order. Asked for morning delivery, and while they usually don’t deliver in the morning they made it happen. Flowers looked great.
Ronald Schouten: I’ve been placing orders through ProFlowers that then get filled by different florists. Those that have been filled by Flowers On Fourteenth have been the best in terms of quality of the flowers and size of the arrangements.

Karen Swindell: I have been a customer of Caruso Florist for over 10 years and the flower arrangements are always beautiful! Caruso Florist customer service is awesome and they deliver to Capitol Heights, MD. l find ordering Caruso flower arrangements easy. Because I tell them the occasion and let the highly trained staff put together the most amazing flower arrangements. I spoke with the owner on several times and he offered good ideas. My family, friends, and co-workers love Caruso flower arrangements. Once I ordered an exotic flower arrangement which included the bird of paradise and my mother still talks about the flower arrangement. I highly recommend Caruso Florist.

Ron Moses: For those with loved ones interred at Arlington, Caruso’s is a veteran owned florist with a very excellent record and quality, much better than any other in the area, and can do a regular or scheduled service to Arlington. I first found Caruso’s a year ago when we needed a florist quickly on a short notice to produce a number of bouquets for my father, MgySgt/SgtMaj Herbert Moses, who passed away Nov 5th 2020. Not only did they do an exemplary job, they did so with care and speed. It was such a great job, that I have a standing order of flowers to be delivered every two weeks to my father at Arlington. I was originally concerned that Arlington groundskeepers would remove the flowers after a few days and was super surprised to discover the flowers are still there after a week (see below). I’m not affiliated with Caruso, they don’t pay me anything, and they didn’t ask me to write a review. I just read the last guy’s review complaining about Latex balloons not lasting a weekend, and anyone with kiddos knows that they don’t last but a couple days esp when it’s cold out. Not fair of a review for a truly great florist (and not a balloon shop). Thank you so much everyone at Caruso’s for honoring my father with so much care.

Sherry Swerdlow: I needed flowers in a hurry and this place didn’t disappoint! I ordered on a Friday night late, and they were delivered at noon on Saturday. They were even more beautiful than the photos on website. The recipient called me twice, once to thank me and say how gorgeous they were, and again the next day to say they were the most beautiful flowers she’s ever received!!

Jessica Kidane: This place has been a lifesaver for me the last few weeks when I needed to grab quick, last minute gifts. Their chocolate selection is very good and they make beautiful arrangements. Most of all, their customer service is top notch. They once delivered a last minute arrangement on Valentine’s Day for my boss’s wife with detailed instructions. They saved the day (not to mention a tremendous headache on my end) and followed the instructions to the letter. I’ve never been disappointed with them!

Kirsten Sherk: Ultra Violet was recommended to me by a friend as a talented and well priced florist. They did not disappoint! I gave them a budget and told them to use their discretion to make a colorful arrangement for a colleague. She was so delighted with her bouquet. It really brightens up her room.
Sarah Andrews: The BEST place to gift a bouquet from. My order was completed quickly and the arrangement actually looked full and beautiful unlike most florists. Highly recommend as a last minute gift if you’re just stumped as to what to get. Who doesn’t love fresh flowers?
Amanda Rose: I’ve been here twice now. Each time I just wanted a small arrangement for my house/for myself, around $40. The staff has been so kind and let me pick out whatever and mix and match what I want. The pricing is incredibly fair (other florists in the area have increased prices an absurd amount) and their selection is like nothing else! They have the best seasonal colors and keep with the trends. Other florists in the area look like what you see on 1800 florists and can’t compare to their product.

earl gadberry: The floral arrangement for my mother’s funeral didn’t arrive, Mary’s shop was across the street, she delivered a beautiful floral arrangement 1 hour before service! In a full circle story, after receiving my first paycheck from my first job as a teenager, I purchased a floral arrangement from this shop to surprise my mom, decades later Mary remembered me!❤️

Elaine Tenner: Found them online. But checked out their work on Facebook and instagram. I realized I had viewed their work at the Ritz Carlton in DC. So, I checked to make sure they would deliver to my nephew and his wife, then used the online service and the arrangement looked like exactly what I ordered!

Laila Awar Shouhayib: I needed an extraordinary bouquet of flowers for a dear friend and I was told I had many florists to choose from in DC. But I knew they were all wrong. I had only one choice: Volanni! I knew his work not only from different friends but also from my volunteer work at the Smithsonian, specifically the Freer/Sackler museum. Every week Volanni made a beautiful arrangement for them and each was a piece of art. The beautiful bouquet I ordered was not made by a florist, but by an artist. The orchids, the succulents, the many choice of flowers were lovely, exotic, textural and beautifully displayed. It took my breath away. I will order from no other place from now on. J CH: Stunningly gorgeous flowers in every form with wonderful customer experience. I had a variety of needs, and Julia & Amber were the ideal, patient designers as we discussed and got excited about the order. The Extra Large Bouquet (pictured) was perfectly designed and the flowers are so fresh! It was delivered on time, with ease, and great communication. We also ordered a combination of flower cuffs as a unique way to honor our out of town VIP guests staying at hotels sans vases, and whimsical hand-tied bouquets for our local VIP gala guests. Had I perused the website earlier, I would have ordered a floral hair clip as well to complement my formal dress! Their floral design work is truly delightful and every recipient was thrilled with their gift. I order a lot of flowers, both for my own home and to send love and appreciation, or just a bit of joy, to others. My search for the perfect design shop stops here: Little Acres brings a little piece of the flower field home. 10/10 will be using them regularly as my go-to florist.
Joya Banerjee: A friend send me the most gorgeous, fresh, beautifully arranged bouquet. I loved how all the flowers were locally grown, and it smelled so good, especially the peony. There were some very delicate flowers in the bunch and I was impressed by how intact it arrived and stayed! The ball reusable pickling jar (and lid!) were a nice touch for the vase. I just ordered an arrangement for a friend :) Little Acre is my new go to!

Sophia Forte: Sent wrong bouquet. Also sent a bouquet that was smaller than the size I ordered. Some of the flowers were wilted but not too bad. The woman on the phone was rude and did not to rectify it so I just returned it and got my money back.

Purple Luva: My beau ordered a birthday cake flower arrangement for my mother’s 70th Born Day. Unbeknownst to him, he didn’t know the delivery time was until 7 p.m. to residences. That’s asinine! One’s birthday is almost over. He was under the auspice that she would get it much earlier. The driver calls me after 7…we were at dinner, so I asked if he could he leave it. He obliges. It was a pulchritudinous arrangement…extremely eclectic! I called the next day because there were no instructions about maintenance attached. I began to articulate why I was calling, and the rude associate said, “he is about to get fired!” I definitely don’t want that. He wasn’t supposed to leave the arrangement. I said ma’am, “I asked him to!” She hastily said, “then what are you complaining about?” I said, “excuse me…complaining?” I will never order from here again! She was extremely defensive. #phoneetiquette101

stephanie choi: Surroundings is such a quaint shop, and though they are small, they do amazing work. I stopped in the other day to get an arrangement and left with two gorgeous bouquets. Carlos arranged them by hand and trimmed the foliage so they were perfect to put in a vase just as they were. His customer service was outstanding- he even explained how to dry the hydrangeas so I can keep them long term. Highly recommend supporting this business!

Christopher Young: I called this florist on Thursday evening (12-16-21), after getting the funeral service church address for the following morning! I’m offering a three (3) star review because they did in fact deliver the flowers and our loved one received them. The real reason for the three stars is based on the final floral arrangement. I’ll post pictures and let you all decide if this was a $130 arrangement!! I think this was purchased at a local Harris Tetter and dropped off at the church, LOL. At the end of the day, I’m guessing it was the thought…haha. Whew! I’ve sent flowers for less and the design, the attention to detail was stunning (of course, at the hands of another florist)!!! Won’t call this florist again. Based on my conversation with the elder who answered, I don’t think they read these reviews and it’s obvious they don’t care!! I’m just saying…but where else could I have vented? I don’t even reside in the DC METRO area, but I needed flowers sent at the last minute. Ok, blessings to all on sending flowers.

LaVanda Gaskins: I love to support black businesses but this company right here is horrible. Why they been in business for so long is absurd. I ordered flowers and paid in full for a funeral. First of all they delivered them in the middle of the service and not only that I ordered two different sets and only one was delivered. After the funeral when I called to let them know they was late and that they didn’t send my other set of flowers the owner in which lies to me and told me she was the Manager informed me there were no refunds! How when I didn’t receive what I paid for. After informing the owner that I would dispute it with my bank if she didn’t refund my card! Please take yur business elsewhere because when you already dealing with a death you don’t wanna have to deal with people and businesses like this.
