Hospitality & Tourism Law Program at American University Washington College of Law: what do users think?

Rachel Dodd: The Hospitality & Tourism Law Program at WCL is truly one of a kind! I participated during Summer 2018 and so happy I decided to take part. There was a great mix between lectures and practical exercises! Not to mention, Professor Shapiro brings in people who are working in various facets of the hospitality and tourism field to come and teach! There also was the opportunity to go on site visits to different places around D.C., which was really cool! Overall fantastic experience and would recommend to any student who has the slightest interest in learning more about this field of law.
Response: Rachel. It has been a pleasure for us to work with you and we are looking forward to watching your career path. There are many us waiting to help, if ever needed.

Matthew Mason: The Hospitality & Tourism Law Program at American University was my favorite set of classes during law school. During the day, students are able to learn about contract drafting, hotel management agreements, and franchise disclosure documents. Furthermore, students are taught by professionals in various hospitality fields including big law firms, corporate counsel, and ownership groups. In the evening, students are able to tour various hotels, casinos, and other hospitality venues around the DC Metro area. These experiences allow students to see how to draft a hotel agreement and what that agreement eventually turns into. In conclusion, I highly recommending taking these classes if you have an interest in hospitality, transactional work, networking with hospitality professionals, or just want an exciting class experience.

Laurinda Frederick: This program is awesome. It's a must do for anyone looking to work in the hospitality and tourism industry. I've made lifetime friends and connections, and none of it would have been possible without this program. It's packed with useful and timely information and taught by well respected industry leaders. I highly recommend.

Adot feeney: Amabel was very helpful and polite, overall great service and friendly staff , Juan was also a big help.

Yuliya Brel-Fournier: I participated in the Grant Proposal Writing Workshop at BAU International University in November 2018. I am very grateful for this wonderful opportunity to learn from the experts in the field how to write successful grant proposals to secure external funding for various purposes. The ability to write such proposals is an important skill required by Universities, NGOs, and other organizations. That is why I was so excited to participate in the workshop. I can say that it was worth every single minute of it. I really enjoyed the professionalism of the presenters, the warm and friendly atmosphere of the BAU University, the perfect organization of the event, and how informative and useful the workshop turned out to be. Thank you once again to the organizers. I would highly recommend this workshop to everyone interested in acquiring this important skill.

Cristina Stanica: I attended the "How to write a grant proposal" workshop at BAU University in November 2018. It is a great opportunity to learn from practitioners with substantial experience in grant writing and implementation both at domestic and international level. I received a lot of hands-on experience, together with a great volume of online resources that are necessary in designing a successful grant project. The interactive approach of the workshop allowed for a lot of sessions of Q&A so that students' needs are immediately covered.

Viviana de Jesús: Attended an inspiring Ribbon Cutting event for Can I Live, Inc. President of BAU is a Woman who is supportive of Enterprising Women of Color. Congratulations on a beautiful partnership. 💫🎯👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏾👭🏻👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏿👭🏿. We rule the world.

Gurpreet Kaur: I reaseched many universities.. But this university attract me... Because this uni provide study loan... And people can debt repaid back for life time....

Rami ASN: Great place to get your master degree

Francine Carris: Great school and perfect student service

İbrahim Altay: The people who works at the frontdesk, they always will try to scare you..

Munkhtsatsralt Baasanjav: Great school, awesome faculty and outstanding student service

University of the District of Columbia Community College (UDC-CC): what do users think?

Henok D: The most terrible school I have ever been to. Both the main campus and the Community college are the same. A lot of slow, unprofessional, and rude staff who keep yelling at students when they are not even doing their jobs properly. I submitted a certain paper to the Financial Aid office and they told me they lost the paper after weeks that I had to pay about $1700 out of pocket. During the 2020 Pandemic, I tried to contact them as I was having difficulty to waive the Student Insurance that is provided through the school because I already had an insurance coverage; no one answered my call until it was due. And now Miss Gaskon told me that I have to pay about $1300 for the coverage I never needed. Mis Gascon was there in 2018/19 when I had the same issue; she helped me waive it then. I could not go to her office in 2020 be a of Covid restrictions. I tried to solve the issue communicating with them but nothing got better yet. I would not recommend anyone to go the UDC unless one needs a headache. I cannot deny that there are some great Professors such as Prof. Sonnie Abebaku. However, individuals are very helpful to us, it’s overall experience at the university that makes a difference in our academic lives. So far, my overall experience is just TERRIBLE!

Danielle Carroll: I went to school here for my AA and it was a breeze. Yes the admissions needs some work (never fixed it) but the education, the teachers and the school itself is fine. It's so affordable and you can always learn something new. I got a paid internship through UDC and even though with it's slight hiccups, this school is still great. I'm at the main campus now working on my Bachelors and I'm 16 classes shy of finishing. Don't pay the haters any mind.

Edgar E: Worst administration I have ever had to deal with. Not only do they never respond to email or phone calls, they can't even keep track of ELECTRONIC applications, that required my daughter to submit 3 times and be forced enrolled late into classes due to their incompetence. But they also can't even have the literacy to read the applications correctly to charge the correct rate to students. They went ahead to charge not only my daughter but several other students out-of-state resident rates when all their applications illustrated DC residents. Like how can you not even read what's on the applications! How many other students were charged nearly 3 times when they should have been charged as a DC residents scares me on the level of corruption and neglect this body demonstrates to it's it's attendees.0 Then to not even have the decency and competence to even respond to emails and calls to try to correct this is just completely absurd, no wonder UDC is a laughing stock of a school to attend they can't even serve as a place to get extra credits for actual schools. How neglectful can you be to students and applicants, like seriously!

Lucien Graves: I was interested in nursing but the department leads never answer even with me contacting them daily for the last 3 months. Not to mention the admissions department takes 2 weeks to email back and never answers a single call. Just go in person, it's faster but still highly unprofessional since they eat and have conversations with others in front of you. You can see why they never answer.

Yesly Turcios: GLEN DOMINA rudest person ever if you are working under a facility and a Student is inquiring on information/assistance you should be able to provide that at your upmost ability but unfortunately that was not the case here..

Danny Hirschfield: I graduated UDC-CC with an AA degree in Liberal Studies Fall Class of 2015 Alumnus. This college really helped me develop my learning skills as I am an older non-traditional student that started as a freshman with very little prior knowledge and discipline in academia. I have transitioned to the UDC flagship campus pursuing my BA degree in Political Science as a pre-law student. This university is the most affordable place to get a good quality education being the only public higher learning institution in Washington, D.C.

Jamilya Allen: Okay So I applied about 3weeks to a month ago and I’ve yet to receive any papers informing me if I was missing any documents or etc. I’ve called at least 5 times a day for about two weeks straight leaving voicemail after voicemail and no one has yet to return my call not only did I call multiple times I have also emailed them multiple and no response. It’s ridiculous what’s the point of having an admissions office if they not even going to pick up the phone, guide you in the process of being admitted or anything else like you guys get paid to do nothing it’s sad.

h T: This University has only good professors! But getting a Bachelor from the UDC will not get you a job!! Their jobs faire is just to get a website from the companies and brochures lol!

Jordan Stewart: The financial aid lady with gray hair and dreads is disrespectful af. Most of the staff here are disorganized and rude. I disenrolled 2 months ago. When I went to disenroll the lady was eating crab legs in front of me. Come to find out she never really disenrolled me, and I had to go back up there today. Smh. I really wanted this to work bc I’m a Dc Resident but I’m enrolling at PGCC.

Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies: what do users think?

Hemant Gaule: Great institution, excellent faculty and resources available to students. A lot of impressive events and conferences are hosted at the institute.

Amy Friedlander: Like many others have said, the support staff, to include the Deans Office, is absolutely awful. Unhelpful, discourteous, unprofessional. I expected so much more from this institution, but the SCS is a disappointment and can only be described as a mediocre school at best.

Larry Poe: The classes and the professors are superlative. However, I concur with many comments here....THE SUPPORT STAFF SUCKS!!! You expect a lot more from the admissions office, registrar and folks that answer the phones (oh, by the way, if you call the SCS you usually receive the voice mail) when you pay 60K for a Master's degree. Georgetown is truly "resting on its laurels" and academic reputation in the customer service department. Every time I needed assistance from someone, it was as if I was asking for a favor and not paying for a service (lots of attitude and unhelpful comments). CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRULY NOT A PRIORITY AT THIS INSTITUTION....
Response: Dear Larry, Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding Georgetown SCS’s Emergency & Disaster Management program in the Middle East. We’re sorry to hear that the student support services have not met your expectations thus far. We’d very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you further about your experience and do what we can to help with any outstanding issues. A member of your program support team will be reaching out to you as soon as possible to arrange a time to discuss. Sincerely, Office of the Dean, SCS

Karina Valverde: I love being a student on campus again. In pursuit of my masters in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. This campus is for the grad school and certificate programs. The culture is professional, high caliber students.

Patrick Revord: Convenient location, beautiful building, great instruction and great classmates. Georgetown runs a class act, even away from its main campus.

Monica Puerto: I enrolled into the Data Science Certificate Program at Georgetown. It is a waste of money and your time unless you have a robust background in Python. Most students did not because this certificate program appears to help you turn into one. I have background in SQL and data analytics and was hoping to gather some skills to make me a data scientist. Although I understand that a certificate program can’t turn you into one (although the marketing and messaging of this makes it appear so with the “robust” curriculum). This was purely taught on slides and wish it was more hands on. It is very expensive and you don’t start learning till the 3rd class. The first class was an introduction on what is data science (around $900) for some powerpoint you could have read at home. Second class was to get into groups to create a data product on a process that you barely know about. I recommend General Assembly they are more hands on. Although they don’t have the prestigious name (which I think Georgetown takes advantage of to teach this way), you will learn more and actually do projects AFTER you learn the material. I thankfully dropped out and sadly was only refunded the classes I did not take although intro to data science and getting into groups does not feel like real classes..
Response: Dear Monica—Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding Georgetown SCS’s Data Science Certificate program. We’re sorry to hear that the program did not meet your expectations. We've received your feedback on the course and have worked to integrate improvements, including communicating the Python expectation and resources available to students. We invite you to speak further about your experience by contacting a staff member of the Center for Continuing and Professional Education by email at ccpeprograms@georgetown.edu or by calling 202-687-8128. Sincerely, Andrew (Office of the Dean, SCS Georgetown University)

Don Johnson: Thought Google users might enjoy seeing what this building looked like in 1919.(credit: Library of Congress)

Rose T.J. Perna: Georgetown SCS staff are unorganized, unresponsive and unprofessional. My son had a horrible experience with the administration. They do not return phone calls or emails. It may be an "elite school" but the SCS program has less than stellar staff and administration. I hope that they clean up quick, his actual program was very well and the insturctors were very qualified. But if you need a document or any type of administration assistance- you'd be better off going to another school.
Response: Hi Rose! Thank you for your message. We're sorry to hear about your experience. Thanks for being in touch so we were able to resolve your issue.

Gouled Hosh: I would like to study here for my EHLS program next year.

syed pervez: One of the best schools in DMV area.

University of the District of Columbia: what do users think?

Carolyn Taylor: This was a enjoyable experience, the seating was great for Covid safety . I would definitely attend an event here again

nina: The worst university ever, my experience at this university has been draining and miserable. Some off the professor are rude and highly unprofessional. I had one professor a couple off years ago name Samuel Walters tell me that he doesn't have to respond to my emails, and if I reported him they wouldn't even listen to me. I will never forget that, it was odd to me as well because, other professors' I had encouraged students to email, and come in during office hours for assistance. I reported this to the dean, and she told me that professors' are not obligated to respond to students' emails. I couldn't believe it, in addition I wrote the president off the school who is a joke in my opinion, and he never responded. Anything, goes at this University. I blame myself, for returning to this school I was told things have changed, and it has not. Different departments loose papers, I had turn in my vaccine exemption forms August 02, 2021 and was told it was never received. When, I inquired about the documents again, the representative had told me they forgot to submit the documents to another department. But, by then I was already dropped from my courses. At this point, I said forget it, I am glad I transferred to another University that's extremely professional, the transition was great. The staff are rude as well, I remember almost getting cursed out by a lady in the student health department, because I simply asked if my health waiver was received, she was so rude. I honestly, despise this University. Returning, to this University as a readmit student was not worth it, it's beyond me because, UDC reached out to me to come back this past summer and it's still a joke. The women bathrooms, are a joke it's been like that since I started a couple off years ago. Some, off the doors don't lock, the library needs to be remodeled. I remember part off the ceilings in one bathroom was completely missing. Elevators were not working, and some parts off the building were not cleaned, the math tutoring lab couple off years ago was, leaking and ceiling was completely gone. I believe, some individuals work at this University because they can display their dispicable disposition. It really, amazes that the student center is appealing. But, if you go to other departments off the campus the conditions, are horrible or layout is outdated. I blame myself for being at this University for so long, never again.

However, individuals are very helpful to us, it’s overall experience at the university that makes a difference in our academic lives. So far, my overall experience is just TERRIBLE!

Mohamed Moustaghfir: I wish I finished my nursing degree. So many UDC graduates 🎓 get successful professional life. A friend of a friend back in the end of the last century, moved back to Ethiopia and started his own company. I also learned a girl moved to Dubai and became the youngest successful millionaire at her twenties. Success is you, but the school and faculties help also mold you a pathway. Look at me now doing pizza delivery. Making people days when I'm sadly sad.

angel almonte: One of the best experiences I have had as a student. The professors were extremely helpful in guiding me to obtain an education . The facility is improving and they have an excellent student center. The student body is very a diverse population. The administration staff are as friendly. as you are to them. In other words if you act a fool than expect to be treated as one. 😊
Response: We’re happy to hear about your experience. Thanks for leaving a great review!

C. M.: Took Spanish classes here for one year. I regret slacking on my Spanish.

Danielle Carroll: Yes the admissions needs some work (never fixed it) but the education, the teachers and the school itself is fine. It's so affordable and you can always learn something new. I got a paid internship through UDC and even though with it's slight hiccups, this school is still great. I'm at the main campus now working on my Bachelors and I'm 16 classes shy of finishing. Don't pay the haters any mind.

Mani Shehni Karam Zadeh: I agree that administrative work is little slow but when it comes to education and professors, I would say they are really great, knowledgeable, kind and caring. They always try to help you to learn and never let you down. They always support brilliant students in the class and on the other hand they never abandon weak students too. Some people complain that school building architecture is ugly but just keep in mind the UDC construction completion dated back to 1851. So, I don't let this to impair my judgement about very good professors and education in here.

Scott Minter: As a graduate student that completed a Master's in Education recently at UDC, I can speak for how the last 3 years or so have been. UDC is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The customer service is appalling and it is very difficult to do simple tasks such as pay bills, register for classes, or track down employees. The staff is difficult to reach and rarely call you back or email after a request. I advise finding a different university if you are looking to continue in higher education. Granted, there are some very excellent professors, but it might not be worth your trouble to attend here.

NIKKI HARRIS: It is a shame that after paying the application fee and being sent an acceptance letter I find out there is a hold on my account. After looking into that, I was told I have an unpaid balance from 2005. I was also informed I had made payments which total about 75% of what was owed initially. I was told to see if I qualify for amnesty to cover what's stilled owed. I did and was told no. The reason being is I don't have a GPA of 2.0 at the time of owing. I don't have a GPA because I had withdrew from classes before I had received any credits for the classes I took back in 2004. I am very disappointed and feel let down. After all, I thought I would be starting classes this summer. UDC does not care about DC citizens trying to get an education. My situation is very unfair!

Carolyn Jones: This is a scam. I ordered a $500.00 Marriott Gift Card from the Daily Getaways Program. The money was taken from my bank on the next day. To date, I have not received the gift card. What I have received is the following: 1. Various email responses alleging that Marriott has attempted to send the gift card to my email address. (Marriott Rewards emails me almost every day. No problem there.) 2. I have called in 3 times. No one calls back from this firm. 3. This company alleges that the sender of the Marriott is an email address which the Marriott Corporation does not recognize. 4. The Marriott Gift Card Corporate Office does not know anything about this transaction. 5. I have never received an email confirming the purchase (but they have my money) so I cannot give a transaction number to Marriott. 6. Rude people who will not let you complete a thought answer the phone at this corporate office. It's almost a month since the purchase of the gift card. Is this a scam? To whom do I report it?

Emerald Lake: Purchased Marriott eGift card from Daily Getaways, but did not receive it in the email. Only way to contact is by email. Emails never been replied. Have to file a dispute with mu credit card company. Avoid the Daily Getaways in the future.

Judy Levens: I have emailed them with no answer. Bought a Daily Getaways for a free night at Omni, never received. Finally got a number from Omni. No rooms available in 2019. What a scam. They won’t answer my emails.

Georgetown University: what do users think?

Alex Kolkena: For the record, I didn't go to school here, but I've only heard good things. From a tourist's perspective, there's plenty of neat architecture on campus. It's in one of the older sections of Washington DC, so definitely worth checking out.

Da-Wang Wu: I have several talented colleagues who graduated from Georgetown University, so I always want to visit this school. The campus is very beautiful, especially with the fall foliage. It’s a nice half-day trip to visit the university, the shopping area (mainly on M Street), the canal and the waterfront park.

Danny L: Must place to visit if you are visiting DC. Lots of things to do around the university. Great place for photography and sightseeing. Plenty of Restaurants around that area. You would love it.

David Gilbank: I fulfilled a lifelong ambition when I came to Georgetown to see where The Exorcist was filmed. I particularly wanted to throw my self down the stairs that featured in the finale. Obviously that could cause terrible damage, so I through a soft toy down instead. See photos. Its a brilliant beautiful neighbourhood. Well worth a visit.

Mj Dillenburg: Great graduation ceremonies! Except for the 95 degree heat and humidity....it was beautiful.

Adnana K: I've had my last two kids here. They met all my needs in that time. Both C-sections were done perfectly. Two and a half days hospital stay. Recovery was very successfull. Staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this hospital.

Russ Watts: Excellent university, superb perspective on the political realm, mindful about the Jesuit values.

Enric Piferrer Torres: We stopped for a quick walk around the university buildings, and it was worth it! It reminded me of Harry Potter somehow. Beautiful main building. We parked outside for free in a 2 hour parking (no meter). The neighborhood is beautiful too

Justin Ahearn: So charming and beautiful. Feel like I’m going to get culture of Washington DC and the people that I meet are great

lilian gonzalez: I do not come to school here but it's a must place to visit and see in person!!! The buildings are so beautiful and massive. It's breathtaking. The surrending place to grab food is amazing and you can bring it back and either sit in the rocking chairs or picnic tables they have or bring a blanket and lay under a tree and relax!! It's so nice!!

American University: what do users think?

Praveen Sriram: Stayed here in the summer of 2005 for my internship in Washington DC and the experience was absolutely fabulous with the dining halls and the gym being my favorites. No complaints at all and excellent customer service from the residence hall staff. I sometimes wish I studied Accounting at this university than at the one I studied at. Great school and great residence halls. Highly recommend! A+

cat wu: It's an average college, no particular major that's really standout around the country or the world. Courses are not that challenged compare to some other higher ranking schools and that probably explains why graduates don't get the best careers, you get what you work for. One thing should be mentioned is that dorms have a lot of rats.

洪銘勳: I have received my master of law degree (international legal studies) from the Washington College of Law of this school. It’s a very internationalized and excellent university. I really miss it.

Santiago Tovar: My friend is away at a summer camp and given the precarious infrastructure of your so called "university" has no wifi. He is unable to communicate with friends and family. This is outrageous, its unfair. Please fix this ASAP.

Adam Cox: Graduated school here in 2005. Students are very engaged and staff friendly. Great place to study.

Gabrielle Thompson: Jacksfilms is a notable alum, and yet, I do not see his name. Therefore, I will not spend my valuable time or money on this university!

Sarah Ashworth: Loved my years at American!! Great diversity and learning community!

Igor Dorokhine: Priced at the level of Ivy League University but return is not at that level at all. BEWARE!

t Whittington: Great university. Amazing area. Amazing people.

TechCarsAnd EverythingElse: Mediocre University in DC. Georgetown is a better university.

National Academy of Sciences: what do users think?

Dawn Peters: Not a place to visit... It was an empty beautiful building. There is a giant Albert Einstein for a great photo opt.

Billy Sneed: Attended a conference here. Very well done. The building is beautiful with lots of beautiful, ornate decorations. I recommend any person who is afforded the opportunity to check this place out to do so!

Ivan Racic: Apart being an amazing piece of history and beacon of science in USA it is really interesting for kids to visit and learn. Perhaps to be encouraged to study harder and be a part of it. There is also a great restaurant in the basement which is serving great meals at very affordable prices.

Hamza Kamran: The place is free to visit. There are plenty of paintings and interesting things to look at, however, do not presume the abundance of inventions and technology as you would find in an Exploratorium. It's a quiet place with small, snug gardens in the front-- not to forget the Einstein Monument . Typically, you can spend an hour or two here if you look through everything. It has abstract paintings and small scultptures

Billy Williamson: Beautiful building and wonderful history

Garry Kepes: Building is old style magificent, but the science is new style politically correct

Lisa Fronczek: It is a beautiful place. The grand hallway has a gilded ceiling. The auditorium has a interesting and unique domed ceiling

Jennifer Soto: This is a hidden gem. The nondescript exterior belies the gorgeous interior. Its stunning. It's always empty but is a private building. You only need to provide your ID to the security guard and you can walk around. Takes maybe 20 minutes to see it all but it's a great spot right by the Lincoln memorial to get out of the heat or cold.

Olga Crawford: A very atmospheric place

Austin Graff: The National Academy of Sciences is an off-the-beaten-path experience just off the National Mall. Self-guided tours are free and available during normal work hours Monday-Friday. Here's why I recommend it: 1) Building: It's historic and stunning. There's a theater with a unique, modern design. The great hall is stunning with beautiful mosaics and a giant Christmas tree during the holidays. The atriums are modernized providing great opportunities to photograph. There's also a little museum telling the history of the academy and building. 2) Statue: Outside, there's a large statue of a sitting Albert Einstein. Just blocks from the Lincoln Memorial, it's becoming a favorite hidden gem of D.C.

The U.S. Capitol Visitor Center: what do users think?

TexCat: Thoroughly enjoyed our impromptu visit here. It’s only just reopened fully to the public since the pandemic apparently. We got there and learned that you could scan a code there and get an online reservation if there were any available. We got lucky and got in immediately! Wonderful tour. Our guide was great. She kept it interesting and informative. So glad we came. One of the highlights of our DC trip.

Ashok Patel: The Capitol Visitor Center is not accepting tour reservations at this time. The Visitor Center is supposed to provide a welcoming and educational environment for visitors to learn about the unique characteristics of the House, the Senate and the legislative process as well as the history and development of the architecture and art of the US Capitol. Unfortunately, the Capitol Visitor Center is closed since last two years due to pandemic. This is going to reopen tentatively from May 30, 2022 to limited numbers of visitors. However, we visited the US Capitol Grounds which is the 58 acre very well maintained park immediately surrounding the US Capitol building. The green lush park-like setting looks beautiful against the Capitol building and National Mall. The grounds is bordered by stone wall. Different types of trees and bushes are grown in the grounds with curved walkways. Many trees on the Capitol grounds have memorial associations. Leisurely walk around the world power center to explore the beauty of the Capitol building is great experience. The entry to the Capitol building is closed for the general public but walking up to the steps of this symbolically most important and impressive public building of United States and the world is great opportunity. After six months of enhanced security measures, finally the fence is down and people can now visit the Capitol grounds.

Ivana Purić: Wanted to finally visit US Capitol inside , but unfortunately it’s closed because of pandemic and they didn’t upload this details on Google Maps . It was good weather , so we just walked around .

Kevin Loeffler: Had an excellent tour organized through my district's representative- definitely go this route if you can for a more personal experience. The visitor center itself is beautiful, full of exhibits, statues, and information. It is bustling with activity so watch out for the people who are hard at work!

Olivia Y.: the Capitol building is beautiful but if you do a tour here the tour guides don't always know what they're talking about and they're not the most helpful. During visiting hours it's tough to get through security, they're very strict and sometimes rude. I absolutely love the work they do here and respect every one working in building. Definitely visit the capitol while in DC! can't miss it.

Greg Davis: Book in advance but on the quiet days you can turn up without a reservation and walk straight on to a tour as we did on a Friday. It’s worth doing. The rotunda is fantastic. For international visitors it’s easy enough to get to see the extras (house of senate and House of Representatives) - just give your photo ID to the appointment desk. But note that no cameras are allowed in either of those last two places and it has it own security.

Mark Thornton: Pretty cool place. Beautiful architects as with all DC buildings, not too busy —though through the week. Very structured and organized for visitors. Restaurant onsite. Gets very busy bus is organized and structured well. The food isn’t that great, but has a good variety.

Mishkat Khetran: If I am not wrong, majority of the tourists visiting DC do come here for sure. Place is enormous and is filled with lots of history, magnificent architecture, beautiful sculptures and very well organized educational tours of this place. Only setback of this place is, it's so big that you walk a lot and then you get hungry/thirsty and tired. Food is not available anywhere near. You can only get lucky with the food carts but even for those, you'll have to walk a lot so fill your tummy before starting. You have to buy tickets of course, but I am not aware of the price so you will have to check online. They do have discounts available all year round. Parents must bring their children here to enlighten them with some historical events.

Argentum Sphinx: Very engaging staff. Well orchestrated tours of a building that's far more interesting than you'd expect. All items in the gift shops(North side and South sides) are made in the USA. The shops carry the same merchandise. Plan to take the Halls of the Senate tour. It's only given at 11am and 2pm Monday through Friday.

Chris Shearer: Super organized tour. Got right in to the initial auditorium to watch the starter film. Gave good info and a good overview. Lady herding us in needed to calm down a little. Liked that even though there were a huge number of people, our individual tour guide kept us engaged.

American University Washington College of Law: what do users think?

Joel Horwich: When I attended Washington College of Law back in the late 80s, it was a respectable and close third in the D.C. area behind Georgetown and George Washington. Then, I believe they substantially increased admissions without a concomitant rise in applications. With that, WCL arguably dumped themselves into the Cesspool of mediocrity out of which they are still climbing. For Better or For Worse, my reputation and that of my classmates are inextricably tied to theirs. I would have been much better off attending the far more reasonably priced George Mason University (to which I was also admitted). They assended while wcl .... Paraphrasing Sir William S. Gilbert and Major-General Stanley, 'it's not who your ancestors were .... it's who they are.'

Samantha Berendt: Stunning campus that underwent a $120 million renovation in 2016. Amazing faculty who genuinely are happy to help, even if you are not their student. Smart and approachable students who seem happy to work together. Fantastic alumni network that make sure to look out for, and and take of, current students and recent alums.

Colleen Martin: Beautiful campus!

Pawan Singh Arora: First look is awesome. I can tell you more in the coming year. As that's where I am gonna be for next one year 🤠

Bungheng Taing: A great place to learn and networking. Washington College of Law is not the top ranking of law school but the alumni network is huge and supportive. Been an AUWCL Alumni, i really thank to this school that has sharpen me both skill and network.

Krystal White: The new Tenley Campus is gorgeous! The campus definitely makes you want to stay there all day long!

洪銘勳: I have received my master of law degree (international legal studies) from the Washington College of Law of this school. It’s a very internationalized and excellent university. I really miss it.

Beerend Steentjes: I was here with the Dutch Contigent, It was awesome! World Scout Jamboree 8/8/2019

Claudette Nation: Everyone that I have come in contact with was very knowledgeable and willing to help me my application to the law school

not: the person who founded this place, is the daughter of the guy who made cursive, I don't like cursive

Destination DC: what do users think?

Shannon Boyle: Destination DC does a fantastic job making connections. They connect tour guides, visitors, hotel managers, local businesses and even DC residents to each other to make all DC experiences better. What I really love about Destination DC is that they highlight both big players and small players in the market. Destination DC is MY resource for all things DC.

Lloyd Bell (Joe Bumskin): Want to represent DC to and for the visitors...check the website for employment opportunities with THE REDCOATS and other positions.

Duane Coad: No ad's for the NRA's National Firearms Museum that show a gun? This organisation has fallen into the idiotic PC culture that is making this country one of sissies. Firearms are a part of our history like it or not. Grow up and embrace our true history, not some version you want to show or agree with

Sergei Malevolent: I come to DC a few times a month. Your escaleftor commercial is so terrible that I'm not coming around the rest of the month.

William Kandel: Fantastic that they don't allow ads from the national gun industry association (NRA)

Harry Wiese: Friendly staff and beautiful office. If you need anything in DC then these are the people to see.

Cynthia: Went on an interview there. Everyone very nice.

omar bracero: Beautiful place, glad they dont allow nra stuff

John Kupik: Wonderful source for everything DC

S. Kalugin: Great new place.
