Mary Ebron: My first experience with Medstar Orthopedic Hand Clinic was exceptional. My physical therapist was very good it really helped my problem. My second experience was was my orthopedic surgeon Dr O’Malley he really cares about the outcome you want. He listened to me trusted my opinion about my situation he gave me the best options for me and my surgery went very well. Dr O’Malley called and checked on me personally and that made me feel really good that he cared I got that feeling when we first met and it’s hard to get a doctor with a good bedside manner. Brenda Howard: I found the staff at the Hand Center to be patient and extremely caring. During my in-office sessions they have explained the therapy (answering my questions), what to expect when performing my care plan at home, and how to avoid common mistakes. Ali Al-Sammarraie: I did my physical therapy treatments with a therapist called Jeff. He was efficient informative and I saw great progress throughout my months of treatment. He also walked me through best practices that I can use in between sessions, and by time I left I was almost back to how I was before my accident. A side bonus, you will have the best conversations every time you meet him, on anything from city planning a to astrophysics.

diaa noureldin: The PT team at Lafayette Centre is simply great. They are professional, well-organized and quite experienced with sports-related injuries. In 3-4 weeks (6-8 sessions) coupled with simple home exercises, I was already seeing an improvement. The team is also quite pleasant to work with and the facility is well-equipped and super clean. I worked mostly with Yvonne and Ryan, and they are really amazing.

Collin Church: Highly recommend the physical therapy team. I saw Gregory Lloyd after having injured my groin which prevented me from being able to workout. Kelly Fleming: As a sole proprietor occupational therapist (OT) running a fly-in/fly-out practice each month, I was in need of space to rent to see my clients. The Viva Center offered me the perfect solution! It is centrally located, close to the Metro, and most importantly offers a wonderful environment to work. I have flexibility with my schedule and am able to accommodate off-hours and weekend appointments for my clients easily. It is a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for everyone and I feel very strongly that the work all Viva clinicians are doing in the community is changing lives for the better. I highly recommend independent and private holistic practitioners consider the Viva Center for clinic space as well as a referral source for all mental health and wellness needs!

Jamie Kaplan: Terry is a fantastic physical therapist and one of the best in the area. She works closely with their patients and knows the DC medical community well. The one down side to being one of her patients is that wait times can be long when transitioning from working with a tech on exercises to seeing Terry in a room. Hopefully the practice can address this so that things are a bit more efficient, but again Terry is a great PT.
Jenna Pekofsky: Terry and the whole team at Elite Physical Therapy and Wellness give therapy and healthcare a good name. They all pay attention to each patient thoroughly, are incredibly knowledgeable, and committed to using many tools, methods, and modalities to give you the care you need. They take the time with manual therapy and develop excellent home exercise programs to speed up recovery and find balance in the body. For something as disheartening as having chronic hip pain form an injury, being there makes me feel better every time- it’s just good place to be. I have been to other PT clinics, and they just aren’t as invested and hands-on as they are at Elite. I’m grateful to have found them for my care and recovery!

Robert Scott: How can you get good adolescent care virtually when everyone can go to the movies, hair salons and all the other activities, but a simple in- person program or seeing a psychologist is off limits because of the excuse of a pandemic. Is the psychologist and therapist too good to not meet in-person when all of us are working back at work? We all need to be loud and tell our mental health professionals that we are not going to take virtual as an option anymore. This company just cares for the ole mighty dollar and they think that they can give adolescent mental health effectively virtually as our children keep falling apart. This is ridiculous and unprofessional.
Response: We are working on our reopening plan, being mindful of the various health needs and concerns of our staff while also following the guidance of our regulatory organizations such as APA. We hope to be able to offer in person treatment very soon.
Rachel Wise: When my teenage daughter was experiencing some anxiety, I called the Ross Center and she was scheduled the next day for an evaluation. The entire process was smooth and efficient. The professionals on staff worked with us to figure out the best treatment options. My daughter had an extremely positive experience at The Ross Center. I highly recommend the Ross Center.
Jill Jacobs: Unprofessional, discriminatory, argumentative, and poorly informed. I tried to make an appointment here, and made it very clear that I am willing to pay cash -not use insurance at all - but was told that because my insurance is Tricare, they will not see me. Repeatedly I explained that I have no intention of using insurance nor filing with insurance after the fact, I simply want to get therapy and pay for it myself. In fact, I explained I would be willing to sign a document to that effect or write a letter and have it notarized declaring this. Regardless, I was told that they will NOT see any person who has Tricare, Medicaid, or Medicare, period... This place does not file or accept any kind of insurance at all; they only accept out of pocket payments. Yet they will not take my money, will not even tell me their fees because... Why...? I happen to have a past association association with the military...? This is not only discriminatory, but bad business practice, in general. I would give zero stars if I could.
Laura Webb: The Ross Center has been an extraordinary resource for me. Because of them, I’ve found exactly the right treatment to manage my anxiety, and I’m so grateful.

Stephanie Sneary: Always excellent care! Washington Wellness therapists have assisted me with recovery from surgeries multiple times since 2012 and they are always my preference for PT care.
Dana swendsen: There great I called as a new patient and they were able to get me in the same day. My Physical Therapist Kristi is great she is very caring and I trust her with my knee. The whole staff is always pleasant.
Peter Sexton: Washington Wellness has been great for my rehabilitation! Kristi has been great, and makes sure to put together a plan with your specific goals in mind. I would first recommend not getting injured, but if that fails I would definitely recommend Washington Wellness
James Peranteau: Great physical therapy, I have been very happy with the quality, structure, and service of the physical therapists. On the administrative side, however, I have been disappointed. Washington Wellness directly charged me for my physical therapy sessions, rather than charging my insurance provider. In the process, Washington Wellness overcharged me a couple of hundred dollars. The staff have acknowledged this, but it has been nearly four months since my last physical therapy, and I still have not received a refund. My emails often go unanswered, and the staff typically deflect my calls. This is unfortunate, because the actual physical therapy is quite good.
Stoyan Dimitrov: The whole team is engaged from the minute you walk in the door. Front desk is polite, helpful and extremely nice. Appointments are scheduled easily, reminders are set and send, so you have one less thing to worry about. Everything is well explained and communicated from the beginning. Best place for physical therapy ever. Here, you can find professional therapists and friendly staff. And what is also important - team members fit your needs and accommodate your situation. Keep up the good work!

Jura: This place is fabulous. As a customer of Sports Therapy and Rehab before the pandemic, I was skeptical about switching to online Physical Therapy for my shoulder. Pouneh Dadmanesh: Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation (STAR) offers and delivers great personalized physical therapy services. STAR has truly amazing staff members and excellent physical therapists. I would like to thank Katherine Braun, Jesse Fuller, Allison Evron, Lucia Lee, Natasha Harper, and Hope! In my view, STAR is the best physical therapy center in the Washington D.C. area. Kathy is truly exceptional; she is the best and most compassionate physical therapist I have ever worked with. I have been at STAR many times in the past three years. More specifically, I have been there for torn rotator cuff, chronic neck pain, sciatica, and pelvis injuries. Tissue massage, stretching, strengthening, joint mobilization/stabilization, and athletic taping have been among the treatments I have received at STAR. The physical therapy sessions have been very effective. Kathy has helped me recover from sciatic problems and strengthen the muscles and ligaments in my shoulder and improve my range of motion significantly. Kathy has also taught me proper techniques that I can use regularly at home to manage and alleviate the pain associated with my injuries, words are not enough to express my gratitude. I have also been working with Jesse on core strengthening and mobility. He has created a good and unique workout routine for me. Jesse is a very knowledgeable personal trainer; I highly recommend him.

Andrew Bird: STAR’s commitment to quality of care, attention to detail, and the depth of knowledge and experience from similar procedures/patients is a critical part to my great rehab from shoulder surgery. Did my homework and toured several PT offices prior to surgery back in March. Allison Evron at STAR was my top choice and I am so pleased with her contribution to my progress. What impresses me most about Allison is her keen awareness, intuition, and active participation in my rehabilitation process. She always takes time to listen to my immediate concerns and I think she grasped my long-term recovery and skiing related performance goals before even I did. She knows when to push in exercises, does not hesitate to correct poor form, and recognizes pain thresholds just from my facial expressions. This level of care alone is worth a 5-star rating, but I’d also note our seamless transition to telehealth appointments during DC “stay at home” without losing momentum was awesome. Very motivating experience. I highly recommend STAR, and particularly Allison for all physical therapy care. They have restored my faith in dedicated physical therapists. That is a monumental achievement after an awful experience elsewhere where I felt like a meat pile on a Chicken McNuggets assembly line.

Sylvia Winik: To my gastroenterologist: Just want to thank you very much for recommending Rene Lawson. She is, indeed, terrific. She is compassionate, very clear, doesn’t shy away from the nasty stuff (both physically and verbally), and made me quite comfortable about having to talk about all sorts of very private stuff. She also responds very quickly to messages. AND … my results are stupendous! Once I started doing colon massages once a day (no big deal at all) (as well as using a “Squatty Potty (or my grandkids’ stool)), I began going every single day. This has continued for roughly 5 - 6 weeks and counting. 😎

Cynthia Q: I began my journey with MSHPT a year ago and just graduated today. I had 2 major bone surgeries at the same time and I began with Chris, who was amazing. I did most of my therapy with Alice. She is an amazing human and was a huge help to my recovery. She made every trip of mine fun by keeping me laughing and in good spirits while I was doing therapy that often times had me in tears. The entire staff has been exceptionally wonderful. Thank you so much Chris, Alice, Jessica, Shelby, Audrey, James and my man Joe who was always ready with my ice. Amazing staff.
Sylvia Gilbert: My experience with the Physical Therapy Department was a very pleasant one. My therapists, Cassandra Oliver and Lindsay Branchini, gave me excellent care. They were thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Both paid attention to my concerns and answered all my questions in detail. I was apprehensive at first about being around a group of people, but seeing how the therapists and assistant kept people separated, cleaned the apparatuses, and used clean sheets and towels, made me feel comfortable and safe. I would recommend the Physical Therapy Department at MedStar Health to others, especially Cassie and Lindsay.
Amal Abdelfattah: I’ve had several reasons to attend PT in the past from accidents and such, but this PT has been my absolute favorite! All of the staff are friendly from the front desk to the gym, to the patients. I want to especially thank Johnathon for being such an incredible, a patient and such a pleasant person to work with. He breaks down each exercise we do, educates you on preventative measures, and clearly has a passion to help others. Keep up the good work!
