East Potomac Tennis Center: what do users think?

Hubert Shang: Plenty of great hard and clay courts at a beautiful location, but as others have stated—awful service. It’s almost like they don’t want you to use their courts. It’s almost impossible to reach someone on the phone to make reservations. They either need an online booking system or someone consistently at the front desk to field reservation requests.

Chanpen Tee: Clay courts are ok but there are many cracks on hard courts. The staff is nice and helpful. A lot of parking spots

Mikel Ortiz Fernández: Worst service you can expect. No response to emails at all, unjustified extra charges. I recommend that you find somewhere else to play/take tennis classes.

Nick Pallotta: We hired Charles to coordinate our event. He was awesome and worked really hard. Spent a lot of time with people helping them improve their game.

Nicole Stroner: This set of indoor courts is among the dirtiest I’ve ever played on. So much grit on the floor makes the ball bounce slowly, and suspends time for shot. More like a clay court than hard court. If you want hard court, would not play here again.

Saeed Dornajafi: My brother and I have been taking beginner classes here, and regularly rent courts to practice. We’ve been very happy with our coach, Yared, and have enjoyed the facilities and the location. The staff is very nice. Vernon at the front desk is always very helpful.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Is excellent place for indoor tennis lots of parking available.

Ross Farley: Courts are good but the service is really terrible. The staff make you feel as if they’re doing you a favor getting you a court - which you pay for. They also left us waiting at the counter into the hour while they meandered about chatting to people.

Christian Karasiewicz: They have clay and hard courts. The courts aren't well maintained and it can be difficulty to reach staff to make an appointment or find out about weather conditions and court closings. Parking is also limited as bikers tend to think they can park in the lot specifically reserved for the tennis courts because it's convenient for them.

David Halliday: Great for what it is. Don't expect 5-star service, but the courts are pretty good and the prices are generally good. The clay courts feel overpriced. Indoor is a good value.

Leslie Glenn: It was very nice. A well maintained place. They premiered the movie about Venus and Serena Williams called "King Richard". The very venue that they built.

Austin Graff: The Southeast Tennis and Learning Center is a large tennis complex near Oxon Run Park, a large city park with trails, a playground and amphitheater. This tennis center has ample parking and many indoor and outdoor tennis courts. There's a small playground outside. Inside, the space is clearly newly renovated and very nice.

MH Mosby: Thank you DC for sponsoring a COVID vaccine site for ward 8 residents. Huge shout out to HU, GW, GT for volunteers, and all others that contributed to the success of the day.

Betty Entzminger: Just left an amazing event there. It's a beautiful place with an awesome mission..

andrew: Didn't even know this place was here for so long. Looks good, I'll have to bring my kids here

rhonda mcpherson: I use the gym 3 times a week. Extremely clean and safe. I love it.

Char Jack: Facilities are the cleanest of all DPR tennis facilities. And the staff is super pleasant. Front desk folks always greet you with a smile. Best kept secret in SE! (It’s not SW)

Melissa Godbolt: I appreciated the service that Cora Masters Barry made available to DC residents to be able to get vaccinated.

Timothy Williams: I think it's an amazing place to go for kids and yourself for tennis. My cousin goes goes to tennis camp there and they are the best. I also go to play to tennis on the weekends. The tennis courts are amazing. 5 stars

Chanpen Tee: There are 6 indoor hard courts. The facility is nice and clean. Well managed

Zia: The Citi Open is when this place comes to life! Other than that it stays pretty empty year round. For tennis lovers the courts are well maintained. I would love to see it used more than just once a year.

Anna Johnson (TropicAna): Visited the park for City Open 2017. Awesome experience. The only, parking for regular guests was very unorganized. We drove all the way from Hampton, VA and then we need to go find parking and take a bus to the tournament. But the park is awesome, courts are great. Good experience

J.Brytni B: Such a nice place. I had no idea they offered so much. Including a gym, gift shop, and plenty of vendors.

Davell501: Great courts but need lights for most of the courts and stadium NEEPS an update

Mukaram Syed: Nice setup and friendly staff.

Karl Van Neste: I enjoyed the tennis. They have improved the venue over the years and with Nadal, they are getting better talent. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Be ready to eat food that was processed hours earlier and shipped from one area to another. And, be prepared to spend top dollar on it. $14 for a large beer. $16 for chicken nuggets and cold hard fries. The weather can also be hot, so be sure to wear sun tan lotion. The web site is only partially accurate; its links are average (some pointing to the previous year) and it isn't updated in a timely manner. Lastly, they don't do a good job showing scores on other courts. They used to do a better job of this.

Stephanie Turner: No place to sit down! There are no benches around the venue to rest. No doubt you are meant to go in one of the food place where you're pressured to buy something. Also, not much in the merch tent. Miss the Citi Open of old!

Victoria Hübenthal: 🎾 awesome place to exercise your tennis energy!!

Brandon Wiebusch: The courts at Fitzgerald Tennis Center are great. The clay courts are a lot of fun and the hard courts are nice as well. If you are interested in training Charles is the guy to see. My tennis game has improved tremendously since I started working with him. 5 Stars!!!

Michael Burton: Very poor front desk management. I tried several times to call the front desk to cancel a lesson well in advance because I knew you had to cancel at least 24 hours in advance in order to get a credit for a makeup lesson. Sadly, I couldn't reach anyone until the day of the lesson because no one ever answered the phone in the days prior. When I finally reached someone I was denied a credit because I canceled on the day of the lesson even after I explained I had no luck reaching anyone before the 24-hour cutoff after making several attempts. If you're gonna have a front desk, be there. If you're gonna have a phone, answer it.

Ben C: Really well taken care of public courts. Can get busy on the weekends so expect a wait before being able to hop on and play. Also they have lights that stay on pretty late.

Jordan Parker: Great tennis courts and great lighting. Didn’t have to wait too long to get on the court. The nice thing about these courts is that they’re fully enclosed - which means you don’t have to worry about ruining anyone else’s tennis game. Excellent place for novices and pros a like. Well lit at night time.

Stephen Browne-Pike: The net on Court 1 is low but overall this is a great place to play. Turnover was consistent at 1hr.

Natalie Fertig: Nice looking tennis courts but we waited over an hour on a Saturday morning and there was still no open court.

Juan Felipe Murcia Guerrero: The tennis courts are very well maintained. There are only two courts so make sure to come ready to wait some time before one of them becomes available.

Isaac Gilles: Well maintained, well lit, and have a beautiful view. Pretty awesome place to play some tennis!

Noor Jemilah: Had a absolute wonderful time with my soul mate! The tennis match was intense!

Rahul Dubey: Good public courts...Usually a wait of up to 30 min or you walk on immediately

Marika Wieliczko: They're tennis courts, they were full.

Cara Fulton: Beautiful sunny day and no wait at noon.

Arlington YMCA Tennis & Squash Center: what do users think?

Jack jack: I just had a strange conversation with one of their employees who said I could not hit a tennis ball in a racquetball court lol ??? What? I wanted to rent a racquet ball court so I could help a beginning tennis player practice their tennis stroke by hitting the tennis ball off the racquet court walls. Easy peasy. No big deal. I have been doing this my whole life. Never had an issue with this request till today. It’s like the employee thinks they are running a 5 star country club where hitting a tennis ball in a racquet ball court is so déclassé. Give me darn break! It’s the freaking YMCA!! The rates are way too expensive anyways. This isn’t a darn country club for the rich and famous!! What a joke. I will never come here.

Gavin Watson: Had a tennis racquet restrung here. Lasted 16 days/2 sessions/3 hours of play before the string popped, which is absurdly short and almost definitely the fault of the stringer. Even broke where the string was tied on one side. They refused to refund or restring, so I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Alex D'Emidio: Well I go there all the time for clinics and j am so much better at tennis now

Nida Hasan: Truly incredible customer service and organization. The courts are awesome as well!

Norris Sam: The caucasian female manager is rude and lacks customer service skills.Nice facility

Peter Troost: Squash courts are dusty and bad ventilation

Nikolai: One of my most favorite center for their amazing staff!

Cindy Li: It’s so unsanitary here, there’s mold on the walls.

Local Guide: Not the best. The staff are not good and the place is very dirty.

Washington D.C. Table Tennis: what do users think?

Obi Umunna: Travel a lot to DC for work and wanted to find a place to play and train. I was amazed to find to not only find that but a welcoming community. The owner makes you feel like family. This isn’t one of those stuffy tennis club. The facility and equipment is first class.

Michael Duong: Best place to practice and play table tennis. Open space, excellent Butterfly tables and great people with good players. You can find your own table with 100 balls to practice serves or you can practice with the Amicus Robot to improve your forehand or backhand loops. Very impressive

Dylan Simon: Khaleel, the owner, is super helpful, knowledgeable, and treats you like you would want to be treated the minute you walk into his facility. I come here a couple times a month and my experience has been okay! While I wish it was similar to an experience in Germany, where you have a club which trains together, and then plays fun / competitive table tennis afterwards with a more social aspect , I can say the league comes very close to it. The league gives you at least competitive table tennis for a valuable price!
Response: Thanks Dylan we miss you. Come back soon.

mark williams: I wish to apoligize for jumping to the wrong conclusion about the WDCTT. The owner reached out to me and invited me to come to play at the club anytime and I look forward to doing just that. It looks like a good place to play. I like to play and will be there to play next weekend. Thanks!
Response: Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Rick Servoss: After playing here a few times I am very happy with what this table tennis club has to offer. The head coach Khaleel is very nice and has an uncanny ability to compliment and teach at the same time making the space enjoyable for all levels of players.
Response: Thanks Rick! We appreciate your support.

Allen Lin: Great place for all levels, highly recommend getting private lessons. Khaleel the owner is super nice, 6/5 star recommendation.

Anne Richardson: Super fun place to play for a double date. Khaleel, the owner, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. For some reason I couldn’t reserve on the app, but I just called and that didn’t seem to be a problem. We were definitely the least experienced ones in there, but the vibe was chill and other more experienced players were friendly.
Response: Thanks so much for the review. It was our pleasure!

Jeremiah Kelly: Owner is great, facility is clean and tables have plenty of room around them. Support locally owned businesses!
Response: Thanks so much. It was a pleasure having you guys!

Stefan Simic: This place is a place that Washington DC was missing during past couple of years. Awesome space with multiple tables that are available for hourly play, trainings, sessions and also there is a league that is going on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays! Very good people, very competitive! If you are looking to play and practice, look no more!

John Stith: This center is under new ownership and continues to thrive with lots of adult players. But also, my kid has been going to their "summer camp" and it's the best sports-coach experience he's ever had! The coach there is at the top of the game and also a great teacher.

Banneker Tennis Courts: what do users think?

Shameer Zahid: Great spot to get your tennis fix!

Tim Murphy: Solid courts. Just wish you could reserve them.

Slav Gatchev: Very nice, well maintained and lit but everyone knows all that and everyone therefore makes a beeline there so expect to wait during peak times. By and large people behave and vacate courts within an hour.

Emir Sfaxi: Love Banneker courts. Super well organized but always requires some wait! Some players should be reminded that 1h is the max when others are waiting

David Beckel: This courts here were renovated on 2019. It's a great place to play.

Ignacio Guinle: Tennis court is ok. Concrete is not perfect but not than bad. Really crowded after 6pm, first come first serve. Morning is the best time to play.

Marika Wieliczko: Very nice tennis courts and very cute boys 😏😏😏

Alfie Paul: These are good courts and they are lit at night. There is parking. The down side is that they are crowded in the warmer months and you often have to wait a while to play and then only get an hour on court if there are people waiting. On Saturdays a church group takes over half the courts for most of the day during the summer. The city might pay a little more attention to the upkeep as there are times when nets are a little sketchy, but overall a great free place to play.

John: great surfaces. perfect nets. free lessons on Saturday mornings.

Lyzette Wallace: The tennis courts are well-maintained.

TopNotch Tennis: what do users think?

Chris Clarke: TopNotch is, hands down, the best tennis instruction you can find in the Northern Virginia area. There are clinics available for everyone from young children to senior citizens, from beginners to high-level players, and everything in-between. My tennis game has improved so much since I started taking lessons with the TopNotch instructors. There are scheduled clinics each season, and if you can't find one to fit your schedule, you can design your own - and if they can make it happen, they will. I highly recommend TopNotch!
Response: Chris - You are seriously so kind! We can't thank you enough for the kind words and review. As a small business in Northern Virginia, we depend on great people like you to help us spread the word! Thank you again!

Steve Marx: Took me a while to remember the name of this program. My nephew spent a month with family and took some group classes here. I'm sure if you are a complete beginner this would a place to drop your children off. But my nephew and relatives told me that they had no idea how to coach. Was more of glorified babysitting. As a former Collegiate tennis player I can say that from my nephews cell recordings this place has average ball feeders and game organizers, not professional tennis coaches.

Laura B: Two of my sons, ages ten and eleven, have been taking lessons with TopNotch Tennis at Tuckahoe Recreation Club for the past three seasons, and they've been having a blast! I never expected them to enjoy exercise so much. The instructors keep them moving the whole time, and they love it. They've gained a lot of skill in tennis and are eager to keep learning.
Response: Thank you so much for your review and super kind words, Laura!

Chris Ko: Excellent! The coaches at TopNotch Tennis tailor their teaching to fit the needs of kids of varying age groups. They make tennis fun and approachable by playing games with the kids and bring energy and enthusiasm into their coaching. Very happy with the staff at TopNotch Tennis and would recommend them to others.

Richmond Guide: My friends and I just visited the Tuckahoe pool and decided to take a tennis class while we were in town. The instructors were nice enough but not qualified coaches by any means. I would not recommend lessons here to my colleagues or friends.

JTCC: what do users think?

Isaac: Great management. Great courts. Great program. The perfect blend of school and tennis at the same place.

Maty C.: They have tennis classes for children and adults in the summer. The membership gives you access to a lot of perks like fitness classes and the gym. Instructors are professional and fun.

Chanpen Tee: There're a lot of hard courts and clay courts. Nice and clean facility. Staff is nice. There are a lot of parking space.

Rohullah Moradi: Very good I had great time in JTCC with my children's

Varun Suryan: Great staff and coaches. Loving my time here being a member and feel so supported.
Response: Thanks Varun for the great review! Glad you’re enjoying your experience as a member!

W. Ethan Eagle: Discover tennis is a great way to get introduced to the game and coach Houston is a treat. Highly recommend.

Trevor Lessard: Been an adult member for over 5 years. Quality club at an affordable price. Its a top tier training facility for juniors, so obviously that's their priority. Adult members need to recognise this, and the price savings relative to other clubs because of it, or it can be frustrating to some. But honestly, never really have an issue getting a court. The real problem is the new adult coordinator who seem tone deaf to the adult members needs in terms of clinics and flexibility.
Response: Thank you for the kind words Trevor and the constructive feedback for others. Glad you've had a positive experience with us!

Windsurfing Hydrofoil (FRPGear): During12U sectional at College Park Tennis Center one parent opposed videotaping of his child. The club called police to remove the opposing parent. And, videotaping continued. I have invested several years into junior tennis and never witnessed police enforced videotaping of children while parents oppose. I would be concerned to take my kids to College Park Tennis Center because they may call police to enforce different things on my children. Perhaps, for that rough DC area it's ok. Tennis lessons at College Park are very expensive and do not deliver results comparable to the cost. They self promote to make it look like they are good in tennis development. I watched the tennis lessons of their full timers - nothing special. Coaches are showing off too much. No inspiration. Perhaps, they like to police and videotape more than play tennis. They have good YouTube videos.
Response: Thank you for your feedback. We're unclear with the exact details/events you're referring to, but please rest assured that we take very seriously all concerns raised by parents, members, and children at our tennis facility. The safety and security of everyone here at JTCC is our #1 priority at all times. Regarding our lessons and programs, we have expanded and improved many aspects of JTCC in the past few years and we even have a program called Rally in 10 which offers free or low cost tennis lessons to beginner adults in an effort to get more people playing tennis again. We hope you'll come back out and visit us!

Lynn Lawson: Large facility and very friendly staff and coaches!
Response: Hi Lynn, Thanks so much for the great review! Happy to hear you enjoyed the facility and meeting members of our team!

Brian Bennett: It's quite a bit of a drive for me to take my son to College Park, but it's definitely a top tennis training facility in this area, especially for 10 and under. A couple of other local clubs we tried were mostly a waste of time.
Response: Thank you Brian, we appreciate your words!

Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center: what do users think?

Han Chen: This is only the review for their tennis class. Some teachers are good but some are very bad. Compared to other classes I signed up, this is much lower quality.

Chanpen Tee: There are 6 hard courts. A lot of parking space. Nice and clean facility

Realtor Georgia: Very nice indoor tennis arena, Offering 6 hard surface tennis courts,. Tennis matches, tennis lessons. Highly recommended it!

Thu Pham: This tennis facility is brick and mortar. Not a bubble! I like the setup. The viewing area is in the center and you can see all the courts, assuming your vision is good enough to see the far side courts.

Kara D.: One of the few indoor tennis courts that don't require club membership. reservation only and the court condition is pretty nice

Bob Gegenheimer: Great indoor tennis courts. Very well maintained. $37 for a court is a little on the expensive side but when it's cold and rainy outside, it's worth it.

Nick Stathis: Don't go on the court five-ten minutes before your time or else the receptionist will scold you. Even when it's completely empty. Then I get told how I'm being monitored and there's cameras watching me like I'm a thief or something 🤨. Staff and courts could use a makeover.

BM2Rambus Brandon-Mykal: I Great area! Courts are clean and have good footing... The staff are always helpful and polite.I appreciate seeing so many people pushing the sport of tennis. 🎾

Marc Schneider: Great facility for tennis and the staff has been extremely vigilant in enforcing safety regulations.

Andrew Majett: Best public tennis facility around! Six hard courts, not too fast, not too slow. Good lighting, year round climate control!

Nora Shank: Logan and his team are kind, patient and fun. My boys love them as coaches and have really enjoyed their tennis camps. The environment is laid back, small group focused but offer quality instruction in a safe environment with plenty of space to play, rest and compete. I would highly recommend these camps for all ages

bellaestrella1: Very happy that our non- athletic kid found a sport she can finally enjoy. We attribute her ability to become comfortable with the sport to Logan's coaching style. He and Rocket are great role models for the children working patiently with each child on what assistance they needed without forgetting to have fun.

Olivia Devereux: My son loves this tennis camp. The coaches teach tennis through games that kids like and allow each to progress at their own level. They are also kind and patient, and great at tennis! My son has really improved his skills in just two sessions and we will definitely put him in this camp every summer.

Kathy Hartness: Logan and his team are amazing with the kids. We have 2 in camp in different ages and they tailor the camp to the level each needs. Would highly recommend Go West Tennis!

Holly Williams: One of the only camps that my son is excited to return to each day. He attended the first two weeks this summer and the staff did a great job keeping him healthy, educated, entertained, and exhausted. 😏

Joy Harrington: Logan was a fantastic coach. My son thoroughly enjoyed his week of tennis camp.

ASM Tennis Academy: what do users think?

Dominic Runfola: When we signed up our 15 year old for this camp we were told and also read on the website it be ran by college level coaches and have daily evaluations and feedback. It was sold to my son as a developmental camp not just a day camp with a little bit of tennis. This camp had my 15 yo old son playing doubles with a six year old. He was also told repeatedly to not hit the ball so hard. The boy running the whole camp was 17 and there was not an adult to be found or any kind of adult instruction given. This camp was a waste of money. If your looking for a babysitter that is all this camp is good for and we were not the only parents complaining. On Friday they only had one court for 17 kids so not much tennis happened that day either. Also when we tried to reach someone about this during and after the camp ended it is impossible to get ahold of anyone. They will not return our calls. My sons exact words were I learned absolutely nothing this week.

Alex Curtis: Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis place is all about money. Don't waste your time with them. We had multiple terrible experiences with their so called programs/tournaments. The only good thing is they have a convenient location and that's pretty much it.

Rock Creek Tennis Stadium: what do users think?

Alexandra Ritchie: Was able to park on or near 14th St and walk a few blocks. Very clean space, friendly staff, well organized. Good views even in the cheaper seats!

Emilie K: Came for Citi Open finals with the hopes to see Nadal. Unfortunately he didn’t make it to the end of the tournament but it finals were great! Great stadium! If any out of towners are watching a game over the summer, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!

Sheng L: We saw the men’s semis (Nishikori vs M. McDonald) and women’s final (Gauf vs Pegula) matches last night. There is is so little information anywhere about what to expect so I had to scour through reviews from Trip Advisor, Yelp, etc. from years past. Make sure to sign up for the Citi Open emails as it’ll tell you when gates open for your sessions and provide an estimated schedule on the day of your tickets. Go to Twitter for real time updates. Our tickets said 7 pm but the men’s match that evening actually started around 6:30 pm. We were lucky enough to get a parking space at a restaurant a block away that didn’t have a time limit/zone restrictions, etc. Beware that parking for all the nearby neighborhoods becomes restricted so you need a special permit to park. Parking Lot B, which is the lot that’s on the grounds is all grass, in case it’s raining on the day of your session. Getting through the ticket line and security was quick and easy. The bag checks were merely a formality and they don’t dig around in your bag at all. Your tickets say they must be printed but I saw plenty of people getting in with the one on their phones. If you have a Citi credit card, bring it with you. You get 10% off for all purchases using your Citi card, as well as access to the Citi lounge, which is air conditioned and has TVs showing the matches. Make sure you have your Citi card out as they’ll ask for it. Only one person in your group needs to show their Citi card. You’ll be given a blue wristband so you can re-enter as you please. Freebies in the Citi lounge are: radio earbud so you can listen to commentaries about the matches, all snacks, water, soda and Gatorade. The only thing you have to pay for in the Citi lounge is alcohol but you automatically get 10% off even if you don’t use a Citi card. There were two other large, covered tents that sold a little bit of food and alcohol. Lines can get long. My boyfriend paid $13 for a 24oz can of Miller Lite. On the opposite end (think it was called the Market Square) is a cafeteria where you can just grab food and pay. I got an Impossible burger, chicken sandwich and bottle of water for $40. My burger was cold and gross but my bf said his chicken sandwich was ok. Other food options in the cafeteria were pizzas, onion rings, chicken fingers/waffle fries combo and hotdogs. Also, there was an attendant in the ladies bathroom who took tips (European style). She wasn’t handing you soap, perfume, feminine products but she was keeping the bathroom clean. The women’s line was very long so just make sure to go during a match. No attendant in the men’s bathroom though. As for the actual matches, there really isn’t a bad seat. We could only get tickets for the very last row of the nosebleed seats and even those weren’t bad. Figuring out your row was a bit tricky as the rows lettering wasn’t very clear. We were in Section 10 and halfway through the men’s match when two new ticket holders showed up, the guys below us figured out they weren’t even in the right section. I will have to say it takes awhile to focus on the match as we could hear all the noises outside of the court but maybe that’s because we were up so high. Also, there was a doubles match going on in the other court and we could hear everything the announcer said. Most of the seats on the second level were bleachers but the section behind the camera man were fold up chairs and so we’re all the seats on the first level, box seats. Some people brought cushions and even though we were on the bleachers, we didn’t think cushions were necessary. The staff was very nice and it was very quick and easy to get to our seats. All in all, a decent experience.

Raland Brooks: It's a great way to spend time either watch and learn the game of tennis

Jonás Porcar Ferrer: Cozy stadium. Great to enjoy tennis at the Citi open, very close to the action. The lavatories need an urgent renovation

Tejas Dave: It was a life time opportunity to see Rafa Nadal at CitiOpen 2021.

Dean Pugh: This has been a great venue for hosting the Citi Open in prior years, but it needs some maintenance. Also, there is a need for more space for additional vendors and seating in the kiosk/food service areas.

Jennifer Fang: Went here for Citi Open. The event and everything inside was great - very friendly and helpful staff, good security, and clean facilities all over. We had a good time moseying around the stadium/courts, getting food and drinks, and hanging out with friends. It was a pretty chill atmosphere overall. The only issue we had was with parking. The parking lots filled up very quickly, there were huge lines just to get in, and there were no signs or notices that the lot was full until we got to the front of the line and spoke to the workers individually. We ended up having to go 15 min down the road to another building's parking lot, but the event staff did have shuttle buses arranged to take ppl to and from the event, which was nice since parking in DC is a nightmare. I just wish there was a way to notify ppl beforehand ("lot full" on the marquee, signs in the road, info on website, etc.). Any kind of forewarning would've drastically shortened the parking line, as it was only long bc the staff had to go speak to every car individually.

Eric Diaz: Great tennis venue. Bathrooms were not clean and very old but the rest of grounds were nice.

alex gordiyenko: parking situation is ridiculous! Got the tickets and couldn't even park anywhere within less than 15 mins away, even though were plenty of empty spaces on B just left, wasted $200. Fix your parking before selling tickets!

Yates Field House: what do users think?

Daniel X. Bandong: No music, weight racks have no labels. Highly recommend labeling weight racks to organize dumbbells. I wish it opened earlier so I can go before work or early classes. Included with tuition–unsure how much I can complain :/

Rahul Singh Khokhar: It has all the facilities no doubt, but the pathways are a bit crypted just like hogwarts in harry potter world. No clear markings or signs to guide you, and its easy to feel lonely in the huge compound. Information desk is quite helpful. Some of the alleys need renovation or at least cleaning.

Michael Burdsall: Running of the santas is the biggest ripoff since anything ever. $20 tickets, then an extra $20 cover for an event that never happened!!! But don't worry their specials were $3 more then any special you could find around the area. Will never do running of the santas again. Horrible deal, horrible service, and horrible experience. Would be zero stars if possible. Never again.

Calvin Weber: This place is very outdated. For the amount of tuition they charge students it's actually a disgrace this hasn't been updated. It does offer most equipment and facilities you would expect at a university recreation center.

Kevin Durham: Nice Equipment and Helpful Staff. Overall a great gym, note that I am a student so I am not attributing the actual cost of the gym to my rating.

Luke_1313: Great place to workout! The student staff and the professional staff are well trained and great people. I enjoy the weight room and pool.
Response: Hi swimfly2free, Thank you so much for the very kind words! We are glad that you enjoy Yates' amenities, and have had such great interactions with our student and professional staff. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Kindest Regards, The Yates Field House Staff

Anne Harrison: Great gym. Older facility, but staff is unparalleled. Pool is beautiful.. Parking is tough, but I love this place.

Christina Johnson: Great place to work and awesome managers! They have machines for everything and one of the few places with a functioning lap and diving pools as well as friendly workers
Response: Hi Christina, It's people like you that make Yates so great! Thank you very much for the kind words. We are pretty proud of the many amenities we have to offer the Georgetown community, and love it when people enjoy using them! Kindest Regards, The Yates Field House Staff

Sarah Slack: This is my go to gym at Georgetown. Great place to work out but the construction currently makes it slightly challenging to access.

Sam Atwa: Awful, dirty and always crowded. and please don't get me started on the new director who sent me a threatening message on FB for criticizing the level of cleanliness on their FB page.

The Aspen Hill Club: what do users think?

Kev Kay: Both of my children have trained at Aspen Hill for a while now. My little one has done some tennis group classes, and my older one is taking private lessons from Coach Elliott. Both group classes and private lessons are fantastic. Coach Elliott is an excellent coach and teacher, and has helped my child improve his game a great deal. In addition, the facility is nice, clean and the front desk is very friendly. I would highly recommend Aspen Hill for your children's tennis training and tennis summer camps.

Elie Ravitz-Basser: I've trained at a lot of tennis facilities, but Aspen Hill is definitely tops in my book! The indoor hard courts are fantastic, and the clay courts in the bubble across the street are great, too. The staff are always so helpful with booking an open court. Additionally, the tennis program itself is really great, challenging, and lots of fun. Can't say enough about the Director of Tennis at Aspen Hill, Elliot! He's really invested in everyone's tennis career, and truly wants each person to get better. Thanks Elliot and Aspen Hill!

joanna carmona: The Aspen Hill Tennis Club is an exceptional tennis facility. My son has been taking weekly tennis lessons for over a year now and he loves it ! I am extremely impressed by the coach's tennis knowledge and how skillfully they are at passing that knowledge on to the young players. The club is the perfect place on all levels from beginner to advanced players . I highly recommend joining the Aspen Hill Tennis Club.

E E: I never leave reviews but I specifically wanted to recommend the tennis instructor Eddie. I started by taking group beginner drills with him. He was such a great coach that I soon decided to add one-on-one lessons with him. My improvement has been very noticeable. He’s really nice, encouraging, and professional. He provides specific instruction on how to improve your technique. I’m really glad I found him (and Aspen Hill Tennis Club).

Natalia Abel: My daughter has been playing at the Aspen Hill Tennis Club for several years now and after so many years it has truly become an important part of our lives! It is an amazing place! Great Coaches and staff, wonderful programs! Coach John, Coach Elliott and Coach Julien put so much work, energy and dedication into working with the kids and ensuring that they constantly improve and succeed. Their summer tennis camp program is really great and offers half and full-day options, which has been very helpful for our family. Thanks to Aspen Hill my daughter has progressed from a beginner to a high school varsity singles player. The AHC front desk staff and managers are super helpful.

Etan Basser: This Club is fantastic! Terrific amenities, friendly staff (particularly Tim, the AHC pro shop manager), and a dedicated coaching staff. Coach Elliot especially is incredibly invested in tennis players’ improvement, always offering to provide helpful tips to that effect on and off the court

Don Easley: Aspen Hill has been terrific place for our daughter Adelaide to learn the game of tennis. Coach Elliott Datlow is an incredible coach. He has taken the time to understand her game from the ground up, and goes out of his way to help her get better. He really cares and it shines thru with every practice and tournament. It's been an awesome experience from day one. Don and Tara Easley

Katherine Margolis: I started going to the Aspen Hill Club when my 5 year old daughter was interested in tennis. Before long, our entire family was signed up and enrolled in classes. We love every aspect of the club. We love childminding, tennis camp, kids camp, swim lessons, tennis lessons, social events, and fitness classes. Here are a few of my favorite things: - my kids beg to go to childminding so my husband and I can do fitness classes and tennis lessons together and we don’t have parent guilt! The childminding staff and director, Mindy, are amazing. I know my kids are safe and well cared for under Mindy’s direction - The kids lessons are fun! My 6 year old just learned how to keep score with Coach Julien and now she can’t stop watching tennis with me so she can keep score! He is an amazing coach with both kids and adults. -Tennis Director Elliott encourages my entire family. My kids feel safe and welcome because of the environment he creates. He has taught my kids and my husband and I so much! He genuinely cares about everyone and takes time to listen to any concerns or questions you have. - Coach James is a fun and effective swim coach. He can work with any child including those who are afraid of the water. He’s also given me tips to help acclimate my baby to the water -The front desk staff greets us personally every time we arrive and can accommodate every request. My kids actually look forward to saying hi to the staff. - The tennis store is very helpful and convenient. Tim knows everything about racquets and equipment. And he is competitively priced!

Emma Conteh: My daughter takes swimming lessons every other weekends there. The membership director Eric was amazing. He was very polite, professional and very helpful. Thank you once again for all your help 👍🏾

Lanay Mudd: I love participating in the adult tennis programs at Aspen Hill Club! Coach Hyojoon creates great drills to improve my game, and the Doubles Frenzy social events are a lot of fun!
