Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.
Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..
Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

Alexandra K: We needed a retractable awning for our upper deck, and Eric did a terrific job with having it designed and installed for us. He guided us through the process of selecting the right fabric and color combination, as well as the type of awning mechanism that worked best for our needs. The awning installation site was challenging, given the type of surface it would be attached to, but Eric was able to find a solution. He was a pleasure to work with, very friendly, responsive, and professional. We love our awning, and can’t recommend Eric enough!
Danielle Nathan: We absolutely loved working with Eric Sheaffer, the owner of Patio Shades Retractable Awnings company. We received a referral from Nick Kfoury, the owner of Maddox AV, our trusted JOSH AI and control4 installer and programming company. It was important to us to find an awning system that would integrate with our current smart-home, which is voice activated, and one that would cover a very large deck area. The whole process was seamless! Eric and his team guided us from the exciting part of picking from the selection of numerous colors of the awning, including which cassette we would choose, to the coordination of the install with our electricians from Olympic Electric and Maddox AV. Our family has been able to spend numerous comfortable hours out on our full sun deck now. We opted for the additional drop down screen for added protection from the sun and privacy. BONUS! Our daughter discovered an added feature that the screen could be used in the evenings and night time to project movies onto!!! So many fun nights watching family movies under the protective cover of our retractable awning.
Trevor Mann: This shade covers the entire deck. When it is retracted it sits against the house in a very low profile not detracting from the beauty of the house giving it a very clean appearance. The installers from Patio Shades Awnings came and installed the awning without any issues. They were professional and they are experts and knew their product. It took them no time in finishing the installation. I was very pleased on how fast it took them to finish the installation. We are looking at another project soon under the patio.
Dean Zang Sr: If you really want a HIGH quality retractable awning, THIS is the one you want! The awning has some excellent design and engineering elements from Europe yet is completely manufactured in Maine in a gorgeous state-of-art machine shop. Installation is top tier by a highly skilled and experienced young gentleman that’s a builder by trade. A few extra pennies but you’ll be glad you spent them!

Brian McNally: Martha and the team at Exclusive Awnings were fantastic! This was a complex job that required them to build and design an awning structure on a not-so-easy buildout site on a floating dock on the Anacostia river for DC Sail. They were able to engineer a solution to work in the harsh marine environment that would comply with winds that can reach 80mph and can be quickly taken down in the event of hurricane force winds. Highly recommend them for your next project. We are more than pleased with the results and they we very professional from start to finish.

I had trouble deciding what colors to choose from, but Martha offered to send me a picture of each option to show how each would look in the space. It made all the difference. Even though it is not his department or responsibility, he patiently worked through getting the dishwasher I ordered on January 13th scheduled for installation. If there were 10 stars - I would select all 10 for Joshua! Patient, courteous and helpful and he went above and beyond to assist me!

Mena Ebiasah: When it was time to show my ID to pick up my online order, I realized ink had leaked all in my purse and license and obstructed the photo view. The rep June patiently took her time to wipe down my ink blotched ID until it was visible and gave me some extra Clorox wipes to wipe down my purse. Extra mile. Jonas Kibet: Cool home improvement store. I can rate them better than Home depot. I love their app. So cool you can scan for prices of items on the shelf before you check out. The staff and wonderful. The only thing I didnt like was that I checked out an item online and says I can pick it up from the store but is nolonger available in the shelves.

D Prince: Home Depot in Alexandria you have the BEST employees! I’ve been back and forth to this store for the past few weeks gathering supplies for my remodel. Lillian in the paint department was very helpful in assisting me with my paint colors. She made sure I bought the CORRECT base paint to mix with the colors I picked out for my home. Lawrence (gentleman in the pictures) assisted me EVERY time (and I mean EVERY TIME) I purchased items that needed to be put in my vehicle. And EVERY TIME he serviced with a smile (just look at the pictures). Lawrence is so attentive, respectful and helpful. He made sure the items I purchased were put safely in my vehicle to be transported! THANK YOU LAWRENCE!! Brian Copes: This is my main Home Depot I go to the Northern Virginia area. It usually has any home improvement or household item that I need for my place. My only issue is sometimes the staff is busy handling other customers questions to answer my personal question. Definitely one of top stores in the area in my opinion. Isata K: On Saturday, June 4, 2022 I visited this Lowes. Outside there was a grill advertised for $199. When I went to the customer service counter to purchase it, the woman working could not find it in the system. I was able to look it up and provide item number. Evidently the grill was actually $249, and was priced incorrectly outside. Matt, one of the store managers was amazing. He was able to ring the grill up for the price labeled outside. He went above and beyond to dismantle the grill hood, so it could fit in my SUV. He and another man were able to load it into my SUV without scratching my vehicle. He was very helpful and kind. His attitude was refreshing. I appreciate your assistance.
Omari Black: Listen when I tell you 5⭐️ Service, go to the appliance section and see Mr. Brandon! From the Initial encounter it was top notch professionalism, customer service, and in depth knowledge of the products! Sassy Sauce: Who doesn’t like Costco. It’s filled with stuff we really don’t need, but when we see it we justify why we want it and figure out the rest later. The tire center crew is very helpful and I have bought car batteries from here as well. The ease of rerun for items is really good and the process is very streamlined. I like the selection of items and it’s generally well staffed. I don’t have to wait too long in line before checking out. The gas prices are the best I’ve seen in the surrounding areas. It’s usually a win whenever we visit.

Anthony Stewart: A bit crowded, but great just as every other Costco. If you haven’t been a member for a while, now is your time to go back! Things have only gotten better! Pretty easy to reach by public transport if one doesn’t plan to get much (and traveling by bus and metro forces one to be a bit more circumspect in one’s purchases). Will be returning monthly and already know where to find great holiday essentials. Hadn’t had Costco pizza in years, and it really hit the spot. It’s one of the few places in the country where a meal and a drink can still be had for under $3!
Oceanie De Silva: Love Costco and specially this DC one as it’s the only one that sells Liquor in the whole DMV area! We find some great items- coconut water from Sri Lanka, Dutch ovens for a great price! Hard Liquor and wines and beers etc amazing collection!! And great prices too! The Japanese whiskeys are a treat and also some fine wines from France and Spain! Also the service is great and efficient! Even though it’s always crowded you move fast!! Become a Member and come over to the DC one!
B. Lipkowitz: This is a great store for just about anything personal, business, and corporate. A courteous, efficient staff is ready, available to serve, offer samples, or assist along well stocked aisles of both the familiar and upscale. Libations, anyone? The A+ "adult beverage" section has an exceptional array of wines and spirits.
I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: Its always a pleasure coming into this Costco to see the workers with great customer service. They are friendly and kind. The selections are wide and many. I really like this location and it’s close to home.
Virginia Donnelly: I love this placeThe wine and alcohol in DC are the cheapest price around. Definitely has great bargains. You just have to have the space to store it or the mouths to eat some of the good items before they spoil.

Andy Zavala: A great and reliable location for home needs. Whenever we go there is always a large amount of employees walking around, always willing to help. The multiple times I’ve gone, everything is always organized, clean and in place. FYI there is a box near the front of the store where you can recycle light bulbs! I wonder if they also have a recycling bin for batteries :). Definitely coming back for home needs!

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.
