Jon Schemanske: This is a good steakhouse. Good service, nice ambience, and quiet. Makes for good conversation. Their chopped salad is the best I've ever had - amazing! The dry age ribeye is OK, not bad, I've definitely had better - but overall really recommended for DC.

Tyler Clark: Interesting place for sure. Starting out I didn't really care for the ambiance. It felt dated. On the way upstairs I was asked to remove my hat which put a damper on my mood. But on to the food. We started out with the octopus appetizer. Which was really good. Maybe the best thing I had, it was really tender and flavorful. Next we shared 4 ounces of the A5 Wagyu at $30 an ounce. We ordered it medium rare and it was definitely tender and melted in your mouth but not the greatest thing I've ever had. Will I get A5 again? Yes. Will I get it from here again? No. Moving on to the main course I got the bone in ribeye with truffle butter and grilled shrimp enchantments. I ordered my steak medium rare and I felt it was more on the rare side. My first few bites were cold but the steak was decent. The truffle butter was a good enhancement. The grilled shrimp on the other hand were not my favorite. They had a char to them that tasted exactly like a dirty grill. For the sides we got lobster Mac, creamed spinach, mushrooms and brussel sprouts. The sides were all fairly good besides the mushrooms and I love mushrooms. They had some kind of after taste that I did but care for. Then for dessert I got the vanilla cheesecake, it was good, didn't feel super heavy but I would have liked a thicker crust. Overall the experience was kinda average. Nothing blew me away. I have my favorite steakhouse in DC already and I was just exploring other options. This one doesn't come close.

Michael Grizer: Fabulous place for a pre- Valentine's Day dinner. Short walk from Farragut North, and you get a nice view of the White House and BLM Plaza on the way. We got a great table upstairs with a view of I St. The $100 30oz ribeye for two was amazing, fabulously marbled with a thick incredibly flavorful bark, one of the best steaks I have had in my life. Bonus is we got a huge bone to bring home for soup tomorrow. Jessica and the entire staff, especially Angel at the bar, were wonderfully attentive and personable, capping an all-around perfect experience. The only two comments I have are that they could use some more options for reasonably priced wine and that once it got full, the dining room got quite loud.

D “Mase” Mason: It was our first time visiting. Our server Nick was amazing. The waygu steak was phenomenal, as well as the charred octopus. The black manhattan and traditional Manhattan were mixed to perfection. Everything was great, no complaints. We will definitely be back.

Patrick Young: Got the dry aged prime 22 oz bone in ribeye cooked medium rare. It was $70 so pretty expensive for me, but it was honestly incredible tasting. I cook my own steaks from the grocery store and I could never get it to taste this good. It was cooked perfectly and it tasted so good that I ate all 22 oz there, then asked for a to-go box for the bone so I could make sure I got to eat every last morsel. If you have the money, the place is 100% worth it

Jasmine Coleman: Upon booking my reservation on OpenTable, Rare Steakhouse contacted me a few hours before my booking to confirm my reservation. Upon arrival, the place looked and felt expensive. I loved the ambiance. I ordered the filet mignon medium well with the chipotle aioli sauce and creamed spinach. I definitely enjoyed the steak and creamed spinach. Both came out hot and were delicious and cooked to perfection. Prices are a little steep but I enjoyed the food. I also ordered the Tropical Fizz drink and Riesling to drink. Both were good. It's a nice restaurant for a date night or special occasion.

Jovana Bulatovic: Fantastic atmosphere, very attentive staff. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the wine list is seemed carefully selected. The manager greeted us and stopped by to check on us and make sure all was to our satisfaction. I highly recommend.

Nikki Reynolds: Rare was good once they finally acknowledged us. We sat for quite a while before we had our drinks. Once they took our order, everything was good. We had the Wisconsin Cheese Board. I totally recommend this! We also split a Ceasars Salad, Roasted Mushrooms, whipped potatoes, and a filet. Everything was really good. I don't know if I would get the potatoes again, but only because I thought they were mashed, not whipped. For dessert we had chocolate ice cream. The Ceasars salad was the best I have had!

roman allen sarmiento: Beautiful restaurant, great food, and great staff. Can't go wrong at all. One of the managers, Eduardo was very helpful and knowledgeable about pretty much everything about that restaurant. The bartenders are really good and super friendly. Will def come back! A+++

Lisa Ellis: First timer, would totally recommend this restaurant to any one looking for great food,atmosphere and staff. Price wise is excellent for a place in between medium class and fine dining. And if your looking for a place to (Share) a meal this is your place, portions are plenty big enough.

Janice L: Things started put rocky initially because we weren't greeted by anyone on the front, we went around looking for an employee. But after that, our waitress was amazing! I forgot her name, but she was a very tall female with blondish brown hair, loved her! It was our first time there and she was amazingly helpful with the menu. The oysters, steak and salad tasted amazing. It was the first steak I've ever had at a high end restaurant that WASN'T chewy!! We ordered the NY style cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert. The cheese cake was a bit too sweet for me, but my fiance loved the chocolate cake. Really glad we decided to stop by here during our weekend stay in DC.

The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Upscale dining with an old world vibe, but not stuffy and pretentious. rob santiago: It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Kylie was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations. She understood exactly how I wanted a monkey shoulder rusty nail and that nailed the night for me. I will be back.

Marie A Smith Robinson: The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant. The walls are filled with cartoon sketches of notable people. I would not recommend the seafood dishes, we had the calamari and lobster bisque, they were subpar. We sent back the calamari and the lobster bisque was barely warm. Raisin bread was phonmenal. The steak was excellent mashed potato and asparagus accompanied it well.

Jessica Kelley: Requested a high top, and mentioned a true dairy allergy.. aka anaphylactic shocked and they didn’t Acknowledge either.. even though I made a reservation & made sure to mention this. Also was told to bad we are busy for my high top. My drinks took 20 minutes to get as well! Not a good place for date night unless you want disappointment

Nicole Deloney: The chicken parmeson is probably the best I've ever had. My friend had the steak medallions and they were a little spicey but good to me because I love spicey food. Service was good and prompt.

Called at 8:30 to get a reservation and arrived at 8:45 to be told they close at 9:00 and they could not seat 4 people because they are closing. Really not what I would expect out of a place that bills itself as a go to steak house. Food is mediocre at best, will not return. Bummer because I used to enjoy it pre-Covid. This is the worst review I have ever given.

John Darden: The steaks were cooked just right. Our waiter was polite and make our evening more enjoyable. The lobster mash potatoes had plenty of lobster meat; however, it was oily. If you like lemon drops then you should definitely try theirs because of the taste and presentation. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were huge. We had added crab meat to one of the steaks; however, we felt as though the restaurant could have included more meat relative to the cost of the dish but it was good. You can pay your bill using your phone. That was a nice touch (no need to wait for someone to come back to you) We plan on coming back.

Jaela Ford: This review is strictly for the waitress named Nicole. We would have given 5 stars if she did not taint our experience in the beginning. We were told by the hostess that she would be our “wonderful” waitress. She also came over to bring us menus and ask our water preference as if she was our waitress. However, for some odd reason the waiter was switched. When she was acting as our waitress, she was extremely short when answering our questions & seemed as though she did not want to be bothered. She also never introduced herself. We had to ask our new waiter for her name. There was absolutely nothing positive about her. It was as if she had pre judged us just because we were a table of young black women. Thankfully, our new waiter Phillip came over and saved the night. He was super welcoming and helpful. He answered all of our questions with a smile. His customer service was top tier! The drinks and food were also amazing! Thank you Phillip!

Junaid O: Definitely one of the best restaurants in DC. Went to Mastro's for my cousins birthday dinner, reserved the private room downstairs(check with the team for availability). We got there about an hour and a half before closing, yet they were very patient with us. The shrimp cocktail and Woodford Manhattan were excellent. Tried some of the other appetizers from the table and everything tested pretty well. For the main course I had the Rack of Lamb, didn't disappoint at all. Dessert was no different as well, the butter cake was the highlight for sure. Highly recommend!

Jennifer Driggers Driggers Group Real Estate: Our family ate here for New Year's Eve 2021 on our trip to D.C. We thoroughly enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the service. The Wagyu steak was definitely worth the money. The lobster mac n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes were great along with the Bacon and sau'teed shrimp appetizers. For desert definitely must try the warm butter cake. Wish we had a Mastro's closer to home. We will definitely go back!!

Mary McKay: We couldn’t have chosen a better establishment to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. The service size of everything is huge! You could definitely share every course and spend half the money…or if your like us, we enjoy the left overs the best day 😍.

Michaela: Service is the strongest aspect of this fine dining experience. We reserved a private room for a birthday party, the ambiance was very nice, but the fees are a bit much. The birthday girl had a glorious seafood tower, that came out in a cloud of fog. Great insta moment!I ordered a medium porterhouse that was over cooked, I had to send it back but the waiter was great about getting me a new steak. I will say, I prefer Morton's porterhouse. The star dish was the warm butter cake at the end of the meal. Do stop by and get that at a minimum.

D P: I had a blast at this place. DC establishment. It's hardly any parking but Madtro's does have valet service. In house music. The wait staff is like there and attentive. The food was good. Lobster Mac and cheese, swordfish, steak asparagus and shrimp scampi. All was so good. The drink list is extensive but good. The bourbon. Jet setter was a great choice. The dessert don't get me started on the seasonal butter cake 🍰. Bomb 💣💣. Go and enjoy this place it's definitely worth it. Dress nice. Don't go in there looking homely.

Mark Blanchard: Food was great, but service was a little slow. It took more than 20 minutes for out server to acknowledge us and get us a beverage. The table next to us was annoying. It was 4 people Facetiming someone the entire time we were there, and on speaker. I'm all about sharing memories with loved ones, but use earphones please! It's rude to other customers otherwise. The restaurant also made a mistake on our bill but later corrected it. Overall a good experience, but could be better given the price.

Renee M: Sooo...the wagyu steak was delicious and the seared scallops were the BEST I have ever had! The sear on both dishes was perfect, the flavors were on point, and the meat melted in my mouth like butter! The drinks were CRAZY good, like strong, but made with appreciation for the full flavor profile vs just the liquor. Our server, Rice, aka the Tony Baker look a like was on it. He was very attentive and gave us great suggestions. We have 4 sides, 2 were bomb and 2 were not. The roasted brussels a sprouts and the cream spinach were tasty. The cream corn was gross and the lobster mac was under whelming. For $40 a side I would like more flavor. The atmosphere was cool. The live singer was entertaining and awkward. I would go back just to chill at the bar.

Swastika Nohara: Great fillet mignon center steak! Awesome oyster, so fresh and I particularly love the sour red sauce that comes with it. I think it is tomato based. We asked for medium for the new york stripe but it was a bit too dry. Asparagus was splendid, perfectly cooked. Atmosphere was nice too.

Michael Garcia: I decided to try CPSH and to my delight it was amazing! The staff truly make the experience memorable. You must try their trio crème brûlée ExceptionalOhhhhhh and the French onion soup…… on point

My party visited Charlie Palmer Steakhouse in D.C. as a celebration during our trip and late birthday for my daughter since missing it last year during covid. Being visitors to D.C., we were not sure what to expect or where to go for a celebration dinner. We were treated very well with friendly staff. Our waiter was patient with us to help us with the menu and style of service Charlie Palmer provides. We all ordered steaks which were cooked to order with several sides we all shared. Desserts were awesome and were a nice unsual splurge for us. Overall, we had an excellent time and really felt great after our dinner. To top off our evening, we were treated to a special location to view the Capitol and Mall. We left the restaurant impressed and very happy we visited. Freddy Vega: REFUSED SERVICE, STAY AWAY. If I could give 0 stars I would. These folks do not deserve any star! While visiting DC and after an exhausting walk through the L.O.C. at 3:25 PM on Apr 27th we (my wife and two kids) stopped by this place to enjoy some succulent steaks on our way back to our parked car. The experience went something like this: As soon as we entered there is a reception desk to the right so we went to it. There were two females and one male behind this desk. The male asks me: "May I help you?" - ??? May I help you? what does that even mean? I'm at a restaurant we want to eat, right? Either way, I said (sounding a little confused by the questions I'm sure) "This is a restaurant right? We want to eat." he then asks me if I have a reservation, I said no. He typed something into the computer and then one of the females said, the restaurant is closed. My wife and I looked at each other and left. I took this picture on the way out to remind me to write about this on social media. WE WERE REFUSED SERVICE for some reason unknown to us. Could have been that we had a 8 month old and a 5 year old with us? I don't know the reason, but these folks in the front desk were insensitive, unprofessional and just down right rude. All done in a passive aggressive way so very covert. If you are a family save your time as you are probably not wanted here.

Ryan Rhodes: Classic steakhouse; menu is small, but everything is delicious. The service could be more attentive - they may be short staffed due to the pandemic. The burger and steak are good portion sizes for lunch.

Laura Molinares: One of my favorite spots in DC! The team at Charlie Palmer is always so welcoming. The manager, Mike, is always friendly and accommodating with reservations and private events. The team at the bar is so professional and kind, I can always count on Lamar to create amazing drinks and he always has incredible new suggestions. Danny, Lewis and Alfredo are always at the bar with a warm smile and providing exceptional customer service. The waiters/waitresses and hostesses are always on top of their game too! There are many restaurants in the DMV, but Charlie Palmer has a was of making you feel at home while also providing an exceptional dining experience with delicious foods and drinks and the best customer service. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Krissy Coles: I love this restaurant and the staff was great. This wasn't my first time here, and I love coming here. However, this was my first time ordering the crab cake. I have never been so disappointed in my life. As a Maryland native, crabs and crab cakes are something you learn how to make at 9 years old and can tell the difference between lump and backfin. As soon as the sat the plate down on the table, I knew this was not a real crab cake. You saw no lump crab meat at all. It looked burnt at the top, and the covered it with garnish. This was the worse crab cake I've ever had in my life. It tasted like someone ethnic grandma that never had on decided to add every spice in the cabinet to try and make some leftovers the own together in the shape of a patty taste good. There was no crab meat inside and looked like they added carrots and peppers which is an abomination. They need to immediately take this off the menu. I was ready to go in the kitchen and fire the chef myself. DO NOT order the crab cake absolutely awful. The lobster corn dogs were good though.

Traveling Foodie: What a great place and such an inclusive environment. The steak is so good here. Staff is wonderful as well. Food-the London broil is tender and there is a gravy that is delicious. I liked the fries and how they got a bit soaked from the sauce. The Caesar salad tasted like all Caesar salads. Good standard and I was happy with it. I got it as a salad (9) and it was the perfect additional side. The outdoor seating is really nice too. This place can get crowded so try to come early.

Lou Costanza: Very friendly staff. Our server was very attentive. Shrimp cocktail appetizer was delicious. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was very good. I opted to add shrimp to it. We had a table next to the windows that overlook 17th Street which provided ample people watching opportunities between courses. Drinks were good too. Decent food at a reasonable price point.

Lani: The food was great. The service was friendly. My steak was perfectly medium and the seafood was good. The sides could have more seasoned but everything was good overall. The drinks were a bit slow but the food was out fast. Annie’s ambiance is always the best part. It’s a special part of DC history. Enjoyed my visit.

Jen T: Delicious breakfast options! My husband and I ordered two drinks and two of the breakfast platters and it was so satisfying! We were stuffed full and that's coming from two people who know how to eat well - the portions are definitely filling! Also, their buffalo mozzarella appetizer was worth trying out too! Service was on point (I wish I could remember her name) - she always checked on us to make sure we were ok 💜. Love this place! Would definitely come back!

lewis zajac: We have been patrons of Annies’s since they were located in the space that is now JR’s. It has 100% of the time been spot on. Naturally our favorite server Manno always makes sure we have a wonderful experience. I do believe we have had everything on the menu at this point and the favorite is always going to be Bull in the Pan medium rare, however the Blue Collar Burger is a close second. If you are looking for a lighter meal check out happy hour. I like the house Manhattan, but my Husband goes for the Martini. And the slider’s are great. All in all Annie’s is the place to be.

Arlan Bryant: This place is amazing! This was the first time my wife and I have went here. It was truly a memorable fine dining experience, for our anniversary. The ambiance of the restaurant was classy and comfortable. Plus the touch of having a piano and piano player, playing music throughout the evening was nice. Our server, Roberto, was excellent! Then there is the food; amazing! Literally, every item we ordered was prepared perfectly, and they had a nice wine menu. To top things off they have us an delicious creme brulee to share for our anniversary. We both agree that it was a great experience and we will definitely return.

Ra'Chelle Dennis: Celebrated my Dads birthday and mine with my parents. The food was GREAT!!!! I loved my lamb chops, my dad enjoyed his steak so much! The escargot was good, tasted very fresh... as did the oysters!!! I can't wait to go back!!

Mia Dillard: The food was okay, but bland and did nothing to entertain my tastebuds. The cocktails were of less than average taste for the area, but the wine list seemed nice. The music was joyful, but it’s hard to hear over the conversations of people seated so close to you. The ambiance is nice, but a little too traditional and stuffy for my youthful taste. The service was simply excellent. I even enjoyed the cheesy dad jokes. I would not recommend to a friend.

MO. B: I recently ate here and the food and service was amazing. It was the first day it was open for dining in. I ordered the rack of lamb and my friend ordered the sea bass. I would definitely recommend the creamy spinach it was amazing. They also have this berry drink where they service it with dry ice it was super cute. I would say the prices of the food was affordable but on the mid pricey side. We didn't have a reservation we just walked in. I would probably recommend booking a table first since it was day they were open.

Lin Dinh: I seriously need to know what the hype is over this place because I was highly disappointed. Don’t get me wrong the restaurant is beautiful and the seating upstairs gave a great view of the city. But I cannot say anything else positive about our dining experience. Our server could have possibly been weeded, but everything came out very slow. The seafood appetizers’ saving grace were the sauces accompanying them, otherwise they lacked their natural sweetness. The entrees were also super bland. I did enjoy their sides tho. Would not come back.

Ardavan Tookaloo: I give it 3 stars (over rated) which is disappointing to me for a $$$/$$$$ restaurant! I liked the design, vibe and atmosphere which was classy and beautiful. The outdoor was beautiful too however, we couldn’t sit outside just because it was closer to sunset and there was no light provided and was so dark! We sat inside by the window but it was super super cold in a way that less than 1 minute after serving the $100 steak, it felt like it has cone out of a refrigerator! Even the dish that was hot were cold! I guess our sit was right under the AC! Besides that when you order a dried aged steak for $100 you expect it to be good! The meat itself was tender but the fact that it was cold and dry and no sauce it felt like nothing and I left half of my steak. Later on I realized I had to order a sauce separately and steaks don’t come with any marination or sauce! I wish when I was ordering the food my waiter who was a nice guy was asking me if I want to add any sauce as it doesn’t come with any! Anyway, it was my birthday and I was trying to celebrate with my wife! We spend $200 there and we didn’t like it much! I wish I spend that money at other restaurant!

Tea Jay: First time at this location, server was awesome! Food was really good, I had the salmon entree. Also the meatball, lobster Mac, lobster bisque soup and lump meat crab cakes appetizers were sooooo good. Totally recommend this place, family friendly and has a great ambience for romantic occasions. jazmine moulden: My first time at this restaurant & the food was really good I got the filet mignon steak , spinach dip , lobster Mac and cheese omg that was my favorite and the drinks were also nice. Food was hot and the service was good. I loved the view as well and the booths are spacious it was not crowded so it felt very intimate. My second time I had high expectations but this time my fiancé and I sat at the bar we ordered our food waited an hour our food finally arrived COLD . I notified the manager he stated he would correct it and never came back. The bartender suggested we leave and come back the next day to speak to another manager that is very inconveniencing and we paid full price for our tab and didn’t eat anything we were highly irritated and hungry! Tyler Clark: As good as everything looks in the pictures I can't help but say I was highly disappointed especially for the price. My favorite thing by far was the Calamari and everything after that was pretty mediocre. The steak was just average at best and it being $135, was a let down. Didn't like the mashed potatoes. The lobster Mac was greasy. The mushrooms were kind of bland. The butter cake was eh. Probably won't go back. It was way to expensive for what it was. I've had better steaks from longhorn.

Jamila: I wento Del Frisco's for DC Restaurant Week, and everything was delicious. Pictured is the appetizer lobster bisque with fresh lobster pieces. It was creamy and rich, and definitely the best lobster bisque I've ever had. The raw oysters were also really tasty! My entree was the medallion filet mignon with a mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans. The dessert was buttercake topped with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream.

Jackie Ellis: I came here for the first time for a birthday dinner and the restaurant is so beautiful. It's surrounded by tall windows that allow you to see the city. The staff was very professional. This is a pricey restaurant, however, it exceeded my expectations. The Crab Cake with Cajun lobster sauce was absolutely amazing!! The corn pudding side I had was also amazing. I sent my plate back empty. Our server Tariq was very personable and made us feel comfortable and open to ask questions, and provided a lovely butter cake for the bday girl. This is a perfect spot for a date or for any occasion.

Adam Riemer: Del friscos is consistent every time I go. I always regret getting the oysters because they’re never good, but that’s the only thing that goes wrong. The servers know the menu and will modify to your taste. The wine selection is fantastic and the steaks are cooked to perfection. My ribeye last night was on the rare side and too fatty, but it was still delicious and I love the bacon steak appetizer. You also cannot go wrong with the lemon cake and espresso for dessert. It’s a pricey place but you’re going to have a great meal.

Nicole R: I went here to celebrate my birthday and I had the most amazing experience!! The waiter, Clement, was very attentive and everything he reccomended was on point! He recommended the pan seared scallops and grilled shrimp with truffle butter and let me tell you, I have never tasted such a succulent scallop! It was cooked to perfection and beyond tasty! I also enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich, chocolate martini, and of course the butter pound cake was the bomb! My sisters had the salmon and said it was delicious. I definitely plan to go back.

Patrick Giesecke: We came here for dinner last night and were mostly happy with the experience. The staff were all friendly and our server in particular (Petro) was great - very attentive, explained items on the menu, and interjected appropriately with pleasant conversation. When we were initially sat the host/manager offered a window table because they weren't that busy which I always think is a nice touch. The bread was good (I think I detected a bit of onion or garlic) but was paired with a sweet butter which, in my opinion, didn't pair very well. We got the Petite Filet and Dry Aged NY Strip which were both very good and what I'd expect to get going to a top tier steakhouse. My steak was a bit overcooked for medium rare but just ever so slightly. We accompanied the entrees with asparagus and the pecorino brussel sprouts. I loved the spouts, not over cooked or over salted, but the asparagus were a bit overcooked and droopy (admittedly, I like my asparagus more on the 'al dente' side than most). I also loved the space - it's kind of laid out as a bar with a few tables in front then a hallway that opens into a larger dining room in the back. The bar, though not very busy when we were there, looked like they could mix a cocktail and would be a nice place to grab a drink after a long day at the office.

Ryan Rhodes: A charming farm to table style steakhouse on Capital Hill. The steaks are mostly dry aged and prime choice meats only. They offer a 49 oz Tomahawk, which was amazing. Protip: They have private rooms upstairs if you are traveling on business or with a large group. One of the rooms has a window to the kitchen, or chefs table.

Blake Kelly: Great pizza and apps. Okay drinks. Overpriced steak, which we skipped. $70 for a ribeye seems a bit much.

Lee McCaleb: Amazing addition to Eastern Market Capitol Hill. Dry aged steaks, craft cocktails, great seafood and the most amazing Smith Island Cake for desert. Harvest Tide has great service, wonderful food and service. We will be back.

Matt Caplan: I had an amazing experience! The aged ribeye was superb. One of the best steaks I’ve had in quite some time. My girlfriends sirloin was great as well and she loved it. The cocktails were super generously sized. Tony, our waiter and bartender (I believe), truly made the experience wonderful. He was attentive, fun, and informative. I hope we get him again when we come back!!

Kimberly Forney: A bit pricey, but everything I've tried has been delicious and they offer a great ambiance. Our service was great. The manager on-duty was very accommodating in offering us the best seats in the house (at our request). Quick service. I've also ordered food for pickup a couple of times and all items were tasty with good presentation - they didn't cut any corners for the to-go orders!

Robert O'Malley: Just went to this place to attempt to have a glass of wine. Beautiful day outside so, yes it is somewhat busy. I was seated in a corner table behind a wall facing the front door. The host sat me, gave me a glass of water, and that is the last time I was acknowledged for the next 15 minutes. Nobody came to ask me if I wanted a drink, I literally got zero acknowledgement after I was seated, and again I was facing the front door. Both the host and waitress were facing me as they re-entered the building from serving guests outside. Seems like a cool place with a solid menu, just a poor experience for me personally.

Allgood Computer Services: May 13th, 2022 First time eating here. No bread and butter up front. For the prices they charge the food served was sub par and not as advertised on the menu. Missing parts of the appetizer, honey truffle fries were like skinny McDonald's french fries with honey poured over. Dry-Aged New York Shawarma as an appetizer was missing the yogurt part of it. They had a couple of good cocktails but otherwise the chef seemed too sparse and not well together. It honestly felt like I ate dinner at a teenagers kitchen. I have never left anyone a negative review, but couldn't bare to say nothing at all. This place may have had better days because it looks nice inside and the reviews were good. Maybe the chef or management has switched hands since then.

Paul Legere: Service was excellent. Food just did not deliver. For the most part flavorless. Crab Benedict had hardly any crab and barely enough hollandaise to cover the eggs which were fully hard boiled. Steaks were fine but completely without seasoning. Nothing was horrible but not one thing would make you want to come back.

Micah Thomas: OMG cannot say better things about the food, my steak was so tender I cut it with the butter knife… And the cheesecake…. Cannot be happier!

Ardavan Tookaloo: I really liked the restaurant and its vibe. The service was great and fast. Our waitress, she was amazing. Drinks were tasty and interesting. We didn’t like the Brussel sprout at all so we didn’t touch it, and we didn’t say anything. However our waitress realized it and she was kind enough to suggest and change it for us. We got the caesar salad instead which was amazing!! For main course we ordered the dry aged bon in steak 18 oz to share. it was really tasty and good. However part of my steak was burnt ( we ordered medium, which was really good medium) but not sure why part of was burnt! Also since we wanted to share they cut it for us in advance and put their full butter on Top for each of us which was too much butter for half steak. At the end i wish it wasn’t burnt on outside (part of it) and i wish was less buttery. Still tasty though. Not to mention the lava cake was good too. Note 1. I didn’t know my plate is too hot so I touched it to move it and burned my finger! I wish they told me it was hot. Note 2. If you rely on google map to find it remember it is inside the building on the second floor. So don’t walk around wondering.

Nicole Deloney: My experience at Mortons for New Year Eve was perfect. The service was excellent, Simon was our server and he was nice and attentive. My steak was cooked to perfection, the potatoes au gratin were fabulous and I even enjoyed the Brussel sprouts. The folks working at the hostess stand were very pleasant as well. I thought it was nice that they provided party favors for Nye! Mortons did not disappoint, I will be back!

Patrick Cassino: I can't recommend Morton's enough. Fantastic service, our server was very attentive and willing to help our table out with anything we asked. He was able to a answer any question we asked about the menu, listened to our requests and was overall an amazing part of this restaurant. The main attraction, however, was the steak. Our entire table ordered different cuts as the variety was more than we could ask for. The ribeye, which I had, was both perfectly cut and cooked. The near was high-quality and was neither undercooked, as some true steakhouses may, nor overcooked as an inexperienced grill cook could have done. The sides, appetizers, and desserts were as delectable as the steaks, perfect execution of classic dishes that one can come to expect from an upscale steakhouse. No matter if you're looking for select chops, fitting sides, attentive service, or an upscale atmosphere, Morton's The Steakhouse has it all.

Wei-Tai Kwok: Enjoyed a small private room in back. Every dish was absolutely delicious, from the savory house chopped salad, to the tasty double lobster tails to the classic creamed spinach shared family style and finally massive portion of banana bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. Veronica our server was terrific and for vegans at the table Morton will customize any vegetables of the day offerings into pasta or other dish of your choice. Haven't been to Mortons for years and glad I went. Great experience all around.

Angela Bowen: We arrived at 3pm, when Morton's was nearly empty and had a long wait due to a distracted waiter, who was walking back and forth from various tables and had to be summoned over to take our order. The waiter never returned after our food was delivered to check the quality and when the manager saw we were finished eating, she came and asked how everything was. We informed her that one of the entrees was cold when received, we ordered 4 sides and only received 2, and we ordered kid's cheeseburgers that did not have cheese. Although she replaced the cold entree, took the hamburgers back to the kitchen to have the cheese added and credited our bill for the sides not received, Morton's charges too much money, not to provide excellent service and food. To top it all off, we were seated near the balcony where smoking was allowed! We were very shocked and displeased, because the smoke smell interrupted our comfort and ruined our Mother's Day dinner. Don't waste money at Morton's! You can get better food, service and a smoke-free environment for far less!

Sean G: I took clients to this establishment for a special dinner, spent over $6k. Unfortunately, they kept my deposit ($1,200) and charged me for the entire dinner. It’s been over a month and they have yet to refund me. May have to seek legal action to get my money back. Food was good, not great. Highly recommend going someplace else, if you don’t want to get ripped off.

Teresa Simmons: Amazing food, impeccable service. The ambiance is so relaxing and lovely. A true gem in DC. Oysters Rockefeller was so good, best I have had in years!! The sangria was flavorful and refreshing. We can't wait to visit on our next trip to DC!!! The chocolate fudge pie was decadent and delicious! This was just 1/2 a slice, more than enough to share!!!

Alexander Staufenberg: My parent took me here for their anniversary dinner. I was sort of nervous about the vegetarian options — but I was very pleased with stuffed mushrooms, the potatoes lyonnaise and the steamed asparagus. The portions are very generous. After hearing we were celebrating an anniversary the house gave us a complimentary brownie with ice cream and whipped cream. It was divine.

Konstantin: Great restaurant. Atmosphere is nice, staff is friendly and food is really good. Oysters were fresh and fried chicken was simply delicious. This place is very popular so reservation is recommended there.

Luke L'sk: The one seafood restaurant that is repeatedly being recommended as we search online for dinner it is located very close to the White House so if you're tourism then may as well go there for a night view of the front of the president's home. if you're driving to have a file a talking for $20 right in the front so that you don't have to worry about finding a location to park your vehicle. I would highly recommend that you make reservation a few days ahead as there is hardly any space for time slot when I was booking my reservation; we were seated very quickly after entering the restaurant. It is a large selection for drinks on cocktail and wine. Maturity of the food selection is based on Seafood. We chose to have some raw oyster as well as a sample of the seafood selection for appetizer with entree as the seafood pasta and a flounder on the market price list. We had some question on the wine selection, the supervisor or the manager on the floor came to advise and give us the recommendation for the wine that we would like to have, he was very knowledgeable. Our waiter Kurt is splendid, he was very friendly and attentive, making sure our needs are met. It was a lovely dining experience to spend my friend's birthday dinner there. it was a nice touch that Kurt could gave us a complimentary ice cream brownie with a candle to blow for his birthday wish of the night

James Marable: Had the filet & lobster tail both were cooked perfectly. The lobster Mac could benefit from the addition of a more bold cheese to add flavor as it was somewhat bland. Service was great and loved that they kept my sparkling water on ice! I also had the crab bisque but it lacked crab, it was mostly onions/shallots (nothing like the crab bisque as Jeff Ruby’s in the Midwest).

Swastika Nohara: The best stone crab there is! My favorite was crab stuffed shrimp because it was creamy and delicious! Perfectly seasoned and crunchy at the same time. Creamed spinach and broccolini was also nice. We spent 156 USD for those meals as seen on my photos.

Maryam Sherbaf: We went to Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone crab for our anniversary. The service is excellent, atmosphere is nice , the restaurant is pretty packed. The food is good but it’s a bit overrated and overpriced.

It is pricey so if your going and you have a party of more than 2, expected to spend like 100$ a person. The drinks were good but not strong enough for me. Aislinn Nyx: The service was very prompt and attentive. We tried out the seafood tower, the jumbo shrimp were delicious but the cold lobster with no butter was off-putting. I ordered the filet mignon and it was dry but well seasoned. My husband had the ribeye and a baked potato and mushrooms. The sides were very generous and delicious. The lava cake was standard. Overall, it was an okay dinner but the lack of ambience and quality of food makes the bill seem ridiculous.

Tonia Scott: The steak was really flavorful. I enjoyed it a lot. Was surprised by the limited menu items (what's with that lil paper menu). Went there because I heard about their lobster diablo, wasn't even on that menu. Did I get there too late(reservations were at 7:30pm)? The chef did switch out the shrimp fettuccine for lobster but it was lil baby ones. Had a good taste so I was satisfied. Might go back. Would like to try the porterhouse steak.

Yolanda P.: Bobby Van's was a nice and classy experience! We had jumbo shrimp cocktail, Asian pear salad, Chicken marsala, shrimp fettuccine in garlic wine sauce, creamed spinach, seasonal vegetables (broccolini), cheesecake, and carrot cake. The salad and shrimp cocktail were very delicious! I was not too pleased with the shrimp fettuccine. It could use some added seasoning (very blan). The chicken marsala was reportedly good. The restaurant is nice but somewhat old-fashioned...very classy though! I suggest getting an early reservation or you will feel rushed by your waiter lol! Overall it was great experience and I might recommend it to others.

Rachel Murphy: Went for the first time with a Groupon. It was a ton of food. The filet was well cooked and the sides - mushrooms and sprouts- were very good. Saturday half off bottles of wine made this a very affordable night out.

L J: Went here for an early Father's Day dinner, used a Groupon voucher. All of the food was delicious! Didn't have anything either one of us wasn't thrilled with. Beautiful atmosphere, I will say the booth was a bit tight. But that's only because I'm 7 months pregnant and well, big old belly. Will recommend going back and plan to take more family members. Valet parking across the street is very convenient and made everything easy.

Charles Davis: Sorry, but the filet was a bit old, dry, and average at best. At 3:00 am I woke up with, let’s just say, “gastrointestinal distress”. Not fun. Great atmosphere and service, and I left a good tip because it isn’t the servers fault. However, I’d avoid the Filet. Very disappointed: I had brought a kid who I’ve mentored for 12 years as a special treat because I’m so proud of him: awesome guy. Sorry to say the steak was sub-par at best. The only reason I didn’t send it back is because I didn’t want to sully the moment. Maybe it was a fluke: lots of good reviews on here. Maybe we were judged because he’s a blue color kid, and they felt they could pawn off an old cut. But really? You either have integrity or you don’t. On the bright side, the fries, bread and asparagus were great. 😂

Bill Farmer: Went to Bobby Van's recently on a Saturday night for the first time and has a great experience. The service was top notch and the filet mignon was cooked and seasoned just right.

Charlie: My wife and I found the restaurant through groupon. Paid for a prefixed 3 course fixed menu, great food. I got a filet mignon it was great. The service was excellent, our servers name was David. If you can get David I know your night will be wonderful! The restaurant will not rush you out like a lot of other seem to do, which made me very happy. My wife and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. :)

Thao Huynh: With the Groupon for the prix fixe dinner, this was a lovely experience for our anniversary. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The music choice was interesting though, not what I expected from a fancy restaurant; I thought there would be classical/jazz music but it was modern pop. The sauces for the filet mignon were an extra $6, which was not told by the server so we had no idea. Make sure to ask. Other than that, it was a lovely time.

Jennifer B: This was my first time ever at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse and it was a lackluster experience. I had dinner with 3 other ladies, 3 of us ordered steak and one orders the stuffed chicken. I ordered the 11oz steak(medium) and lobster classic, with garlic mashed potatoes and a steakhouse salad. The salad and lobster were delicious, the steak and potatoes were not. My steak was definitely rare and not flavorful, my potatoes came to the table cold. I sent the steak back and it returned medium well. I had to remind our server that a desert came with the meal and asked him to package it to go for me. The best part of dinner was the great company I had with my friends while I was in town. Our server was pleasant he was just very slow. We saw several tables be seated, eat and leave before we got our desert. Our server was not very present and it took us a long time to get every element of dinner including our checks. I will try Ruth’s Chris again, just not this one.

Dwayne Boyd: The first time I went to Ruth's Chris was 27 years ago. The food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the high price I was charged. So I decided to give them another try. The food was worse than it was my first time. My steak was so salty I couldn't eat it. I had to send it back 3 times and they still didn't get it right. The third time I took it to go and they didn't charge me for it. Not that I would have paid for it anyway. I took it home and gave it to the dog. He wouldn't eat it either.

Janay McIntosh: I visited this location for the first time the other evening for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised! Hands down the best Ruth Chris I have experienced. I'm not sure if the company changed the menu or if this restaurant's chefs are just really good at their jobs but the half roasted chicken is my go to and it was better than I remember it being at other locations. Even down to the presentation and the heirloom tomatoes *chefs kiss*. This is going to be the Ruth Chris I frequent from now on.

Nice steak & lobster combo. I made reservations, so there was no waiting. Was ushered right to my seat. An have cash for the vallet out front!

My husband ordered a medium steak … the first time it came out it was rock hard ( well done ) we sent it back next time it came out the manager had him cut into it it was rare . The manager himself was shocked . After failing both times the third time it came out it was fine but at that point we were over it. I ordered a $10 fully loaded bake potato when it came out it had a little butter and about 5 pieces of bacon in it. When i asked the waitress if it should have cheese in it she said uhhh yes. At that point i sent my potato back as i did not want it. When you go to these high class dining you expect a certain amount of customer service and for your food to be correct the first time. Especially when you know you're going to have a $200++ bill. It was my first time trying ruths chris and i was NOT impressed

Jennifer Baxter: Everything from ambiance, service and food - all exquisite. The filet mignon,(not in the pic) melts in the mouth. It was a pleasurable dining experience that we had. We will definitely be back.

Yongdo Lee: Food is top notch. I came for steak but was pleasantly overwhelmed by the fine dining quality of the dishes. However, I did go in for porterhouse steak, which I've been advised to order later (after finishing the appetizer) and been told that they were out of them. That was ok, inventory management is not easy. However as we were walking out of the restaurant, we saw other tables enjoying their porterhouse. Surprise! I'll definitely come back for the food (kudos to the chef) but hope to be able to improve the rating on my next visit.

jasprit Singh: Hi guys. Just tried BLT steak house for a formal business dinner. The restaurant was quiet impressive. Staff was friendly. Ambiance was good. There food was very good and they serve a very nice table bread too. Prices were in the higher range as expected from at a good steakhouse. The only reason they will not get a 5 Star rating is because they were not carrying any Single Malt whiskey above 12 years, generally a 18 year single malt is expected at a high end restaurant. The several round of alcohol that were ordered to the table were messed up and sent back twice. On the whole a great experience and if you are willing to spend top dollars for a good steak I would recommend you try it out.

Ed Weaver: Great atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional staff. I would have given this 5 stars, but my aged bone in ribeye was a bit dry and over charred for my taste.

DeJuan Price: I wanted to love BLT. I did not. It’s unfortunate because the food was tasty — and more or less consistent with other fine dining steakhouses I’ve been to. However, I was sorely disappointed by the quality of the service. Our waiter seemed to disregard us and was very disconnected from our table and our needs. He never introduced himself; he rushed through answers to questions, made no note of specials or recommendations, and averted eye contact for most of the service. Similarly, the manager was happy to speak to and check in with other guests and patrons but never came to our table. He spent over an hour talking to one guest and never glanced in our direction. I want to believe it was not discriminatory, but for the cost — the level of service to Black patrons in my experience was lacking. Though I enjoyed the food - I will not be going back. Tonight was supposed to be a celebration for a younger cousin and provide her exposure to a high-quality dining experience - it did not meet my expectations or accomplish this goal.

Domenick Grieshaber: Everything was great from start to finish. Service was second to none. More importantly, It’s not just about eating it’s about your dining experience. Marco and his staff made us feel like family. They anticipated our every need. It’s hard to get good service these days, Marco and his staff were on point!

Betty: Food was great. No complaints there but our service was terrible. Our server Lajuan was not attentive. Took us absolutely forever to order dessert. And almost 30 minutes to receive the bill after everyone was clearly done, looking around, waiting. We were here for some birthdays and the table next to us got a special experience where as he just dropped our desserts with a candle and left. Also had some major attitude.

J Mac: The Yorkshire Pudding and Rack of Lamb were FABULOUS. Those foods paired with the locally bewed Hazy IPA made for a marvelous combination that I will certainly recommend and enjoy again. The service was outstanding, even in the face of a crowded "special event".

Chrissy Doe: I love this place and we go here often enough. I was super excited to go after they renovated. The food was amazing as usual and our server was excellent. However, the America wagyu ribeye I ordered medium rare came out medium-med well. I did not return it because we had an even afterwards and I’m just not a return food sort of person. I will go here again, but to spend 90+ on a steak that’s over cooked felt like a waste. Everything else was exceptional as usual.

andrew: Super cute place, spacious and fun! Had dinner here with some friends on a Friday night. We made reservations for 630pm and was seated inside at one of their booths. We started off with biscuits, cooked Oysters, deviled eggs, and giant prawn as our appetizers. The biscuits are a must order item. They’re fresh and warm, and comes with a side of polenta spread. Every bite melts in your mouth. The Oysters were good and had a nice flavor. You couldn’t “taste” the sea. Both the prawn and deviled eggs were pretty standard. A bit boring and standard in taste. I had the steak as my main course, along with a side of broccoli and baked potatoes. Steak was medium and full of flavor in every bite. The broccoli was just okay, and worked as a side going along with something that had more flavor. The baked potatoes are much like fries, seasoned with herbs. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but i still recommend making a reservation. They have some great large, private booth areas outside to accommodate guests during the pandemic. I sure hope they get to keep it all up for a while. Parking can be tough in the area on busy nights and weekends, but the Union Market parking lot should work. Service was fast and friendly.

Evita Pass: I took my nephew here for his post-prom brunch and we loved it. He had the Bodega breakfast sandwich and I had steak and eggs which had a perfectly cooked medium steak that came with a side of their deliciously crispy potatoes. Mike Ragsdale: Incredible steak in a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Feels like a neighborhood bar where I wish I was a regular, yet packs the punch of a 5 star steakhouse in the menu and wine list. The grilled mushrooms are the best I've ever had, and I don't like mushrooms.

Cyriac Edappully: The service and our server were excellent. However the food was just okay. Came here with high expectations after going to La diplomat. The ribeye was good but not great. We also tried the skate wing which was something we've never tried before. Unfortunately we could only taste the seasoning on the skate wing. So I couldn't really say how it's supposed to really taste like. The Bobo chicken was also just okay. Same goes for the New York strip. The best dishes there were probably the lamb steak and the biscuits. The sides were also quite good.

Jean Ng: The atmosphere is great. Lots of outdoor booth tables and inside decor is a mashed up of someone’s luxury cabin with a touch of industrial. While the decor is interesting and the service was good, the food was just ok. I read that other patrons was raving about the butcher’s steak but mine came out a little chewy although cooked to my request of medium rare. We both find that the pan fried potato was a little too herby for our taste. One thing for sure we both love the rich ice cream cake that put a sweet note in the end of our meal. I do believe in second chance, we will be back next time. Theres some dishes I would like to try like the baby iceberg and ax handle ribeye.

Our server was very attentive and the service was very quick! The food…OH MY GOSH! That ribeye is up there with one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Such a fun date night. We will be back! Also, each plate is unique and you get a postcard with the check!

ESB NYC: Cool place in Union Market. Kind of an old school steak house with a modern vibe. Excellent service. I had the draft Vieux Carré cocktail, $14, pretty tasty. We shared the blue crab deviled eggs ($14) and the oyster appetizer at $19 for 6 cooked oysters. My husband had the butcher steak which was $34 and flavorful but pretty tough. I had the rockfish entree (also $34), nice piece of fish in a mussel cream sauce. A little fishy for my taste (freshwater fish) from the Potomac, lol?! We shared the fried mashed potatoes and creamed spinach sides. We shared the ice cream cake dessert, I think it was $11. Tasty but just a little rich after a fairly heavy meal. All in all, expensive but pretty good.

Vy H.: LOVE THIS PLACE!! My work company had our holiday lunch gathering here recently! The restaurant has a nice and fancy vibe, and surprisingly was packed for a weekday lunch. Their salad bar is awesome—with a huge selection of choices. Their meats (that come around your table) is so delicious and well flavored. In addition, staff is very friendly and attentive. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the chocolate cake as a dessert option for our meal, but the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was really good!

Kevin Amaya: Went here for a company brunch and was blown away! If excellent service, high quality food and drinks in a comfortable and relaxing setting then this place should be in your top places to visit. You won't be disappointed with the selection of different foods to choose from.

Joseph Middleton: Went for my first time ever at Fogo with my siblings to celebrate the end of a trip together. This dinner was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our waiter as well as the entire waitstaff and all of the gaucho chefs were wonderful, knowledgeable, and professional and made the experience all that much more enjoyable. The selection of meats rotated through regularly and the market table had a great selection of fruit, salads, and other delicious food. The side dishes we were brought were delicious. We were celebrating my sister's graduation and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. I cannot speak highly enough of this dinner. It's truly an excellent experience and was a memorable one for my siblings and I.

Morgan: Fantastic service. The employees here really work well as a team. The food is always great. I took my boyfriend here when we first started dating and he loved it. Took him again along with my grandparents, who were in town visiting… I didn’t tell our server, but we were also celebrating my grandma being cancer-free. Our server went out of his way to give my grandma a free dessert that said “Welcome to DC” (see picture)… That was really nice. Thanks for many great experiences.

Pro Tip, They get busy quick, they have a full dining area. Tables fit 2, 4 & round tables that must fit about 8. They fill up pretty quick. (And this was a Thursday) Try the bottom steak & lamb. It’s the best. I wasn’t a fan of the beer marinated chicken however it wasn’t bad. Last thing get the soda in the picture it’s AMAZING. Jesse Campo: I don't know why I'd never been here before, but I'll certainly be back. Got super lucky with a reservation being available last minute. I'd recommend getting a reservation if you're coming for dinner, especially on a weekend. We still ended up waiting about 15 mins for our table, but it was well worth it. The food is amazing, and it's pretty much all you can eat high quality meats and salad bar (with delicious sides)! I didn't expect there to be so many different meats. I was seriously impressed with it all. It came to about $80 per person after tip - not cheap, but definitely worth it. If you haven't been here and you're looking for an awesome meal, get a reservation and go! Make sure you're hungry and don't waste *too* much time at the salad bar - ha.

Autumn Bishop: We went for the first time for my birthday, everything was amazing. Our server Denzel was overall a 10/10 super attentive even though it was crazy busy he made sure our needs were met and even offered to have specific meats brought to us if we hadn’t tried them yet. Charles Leftwich: My first visit to this establishment was a party of two for a special Valentine's Day Menu. The maitre d' was kind and had a full smile, she promptly asked if they could take our coats followed by a swift pass to our waiter for seating. The ambience is nice, an open dining room concept allowing you to view most of the dining room. The lights are dimmed and give a candlelight style vibe which was nice. Service for the table was spot on, the waiter was amazing, giving great wine recommendations and proper service the entire night. I started with the bang bang shrimp appetizer which was honestly, the best I've had (definitely better than Bonefish). The flavor was rich and texture was a bit more creamy with a larger shrimp size than most places serving the same app. The main course of Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass was cooked well, the firm texture of the fish went well with the sundried tomato risotto. The mac and cheese was lackluster, it had a great velvety cheese texture but lacked the sharpness I think defines a "good" mac. The cheeses chosen were too mild in my opinion. The creamed spinach was good. The Lemon Crunch Cake dessert was darn tasty, not too acidic or lemony but well balanced, not a great deal of crunch but the flavors coming from the dish outshine the need for "crunch". Great overall experience, I would recommend going when it is not so crowded to truly enjoy your experience (some tables may be a bit close to other guest, but this is to be expected during a holiday/high volume day)

Gerald Brown: Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious and visually appealing. We had Caesar Salad, Chicken Noodle Soup, a Crab Cale Sandwich with fries and onion rings (fantastic!!!), Filet Mignon and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Very satisfying meal.

Renita Lake: I knew it would be good, but HERMAGERD! The steak was like butta. I got the steak and cake (fancy surf and turf). It was a steak and a crab cake. The cake had too kuch filler and not enough Old Bay, in my opinionation, but otherwise delicious. The wine was fab-o, and our waiter was wonderful, knowledgeable, and had a great wit and sense of humor. Imma go back~

S. Renee Weaks: Great service from Aaron and the entire waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. The steak, duck fries and Cocktails were superb; the shrimp cocktail was good, but a bit overcooked prior to chilling. I would pass on the Mac and cheese. I would definitely return in the future for other menu options and the ambiance.

Mike P: Great steak and the sides like the truffle macaroni and cheese as well as the asparagus were perfect compliments. Expect to pay the price for the food you'll get here, but worth it if you're looking for a good cut of steak. The service was also very friendly and patient with our group while we met with customers. The only thing I feel they could improve would be the atmosphere. Seems a tad dated, but overall great location being in Georgetown. Also though, that means you'll want to come on a weeknight for parking close by, valet, or ride-share.

Saminda Wijegunawardena: Had an incredible dinner here, and the entire evening was epic from start to finish. We grabbed a couple of drinks at the bar. Highly recommend the Yo, You Got Beef: Wagyu fat-washed bourbon with Cocchi vermouth, served smoked (it's a high end Manhattan). Their duck fat fries with a trio of seasonings and sauces are great to nosh on, too. When we sat down at our table, we kicked it off with the tuna tartare, smoked bone marrow, shrimp cocktail, and the Caeser salad as starters and then for our mains, we indulged in 4 oz of the sanuki A5 (epic) and the 7x ribeye and the snake river farms filet, seared, sliced and served to perfection. Incredible.

Mark Blanchard: Good steaks and great service. Fries were pretty average at best. Our steak knives were dull as butter knives. We asked for replacements, and we got equally dull knives. Good thing the steaks are tender, but not a good steaks for a steakhouse not to invest in new knives or at least sharpen them. Dessert was amazing!

Tim Smith: Went here for a special dinner and wasn't disappointed. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly and provided truly next level service and care. I loved and appreciated the extra complimentary side's that were delivered with our meal. The food was prepared exactly as ordered and was delicious. I will return and not only when it's a special occasion. Do note and be prepared that this is not an inexpensive experience. You will pay for top quality food and the wide selection of liquor and wine. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Even though it’s understandable to focus on someone’s health aside from serving a table, the staff took responsibility for the delay on our food and service and offered a great amount of remedy. We were surprised with complimentary appetizers and enjoyed every bite. The steak was amazing, we both had the Australian Ribeye. We left stuffed and happy. A great restaurant with extremely attentive and helpful staff. The cocktails were also great. I had two of the autumn cocktails and they were both great. We will definitely return

moshix: Went to this incredibly noisy (and very dimly lit) restaurant around 8pm. Good service. A bit presumptuous at the maitre d’ station (not sure why..), but the waiter was very nice. The steaks are very good quality. The fois gras appetizer is really good. What kills this restaurant for me is the incredible noise that makes it hard to have a conversation, the speed at which they want you in and out, and mostly the crazy crazy prices. $400 for two people with only a glass of wine each. It’s not worth it. Go somewhere else to eat a good steak and pay normal prices instead.

Jassett M: I have only gone to Bourbon Steak for their cocktails, but never for food. So this was a first for me and it did not disappoint. I had brunch with a few of my friends and everything on the menu sounded delicious. I decided to order the King Crab Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. My friend had the burger and it was very hard not to order that for myself because I heard so much about in the past. But that gives me another reason to return. Even the side dishes were great, truffle macaroni & cheese, sauteed kale & broccolini. Finally, we decided to share the desserts..the Brioche Doughnut & Pecan Sticky Bun and they were both out of this world. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience ...from the ambience, the wait staff & the food. 5 stars.

Steven Dominguez: Steak is top tier, dare to say quite possibly the best steak in the city. The sides, service and calamari appetizer left MUCH to be desired. It's a shame you have to make this trade off to enjoy such a good steak. Didn't try the seafood. Value? $250 for two with no alcohol seemed slightly overpriced, especially with a comped dessert.

Solana Cox: We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here all the way from Pittsburgh and let me tell you, Ocean Prime did not disappoint. It was well worth the start of our road trip to DC. Everyone who came to our table went above and beyond. I ordered the teriyaki salmon and it was scrumptious! When I told the waiter that it was our anniversary, they made sure it was going to be a night to remember. Highly recommend this place.

Syerra Carigo: We visited for happy hour on Wednesday and it wasn’t too crowded. I tried their delicious steak tartare and my husband had their oysters. I also tried their “berries and bubbles” cocktail which comes with dry ice, Belvedere citrus vodka, marinated berries, house made sour, and Chandon Brut. This drink was so sweet and very cute! The staff were all friendly, and all the bartenders attended to you whether they were serving you or not. We had a very nice time. I’m looking forward to returning for dinner.

Danovel Tolli: This was my first time Dining at Ocean Prime. Taking my lady out for her birthday. It was nothing more than a top tier experience. The waiter Briyan was awesome..extremely friendly, warm, and you just knew he enjoyed serving us and you felt it everytime he visited the table. The first thing I tasted was the Surf and Turf Scallop, and prime rib..Amazingly tender and full of flavor. Nothing more than immaculate. The Lamb Chops were the best I have ever tasted from anywhere. Prepare to be here for a while as they do take their time to give you an experience. I will be going back for the Private dining experience for sure.

We drank a lot of water! She was helpful and polite in her suggestions. We started our meal with steak tartare and it was spiced and flavored beautifully! It was the best steak tartare we have had in a long time. I ordered the scallops over risotto and my husband ordered the chilean sea bass. Both dishes melted in our mouths and we were relishing each bite. The food was beautifully presented. The staff all seemed to work extremely well! That takes a lot of training and good leadership. Bravo! I saw a few business men having their lunches as well as older couples. We were not dressed in business attire, but it didn't seem to matter. Service, food and presentation were SPOT ON Amazing! Thank you Ocean Prime for making our DC lunch a wonderful relaxing delicious experience.

The check in crew were friendly and professional- found our reservations and table was ready on the spot. Our waiter Alexander was superb !! He was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu, wine, sprits and dessert. His recommendations were excellent. He truly made my birthday special by treating me to my dessert. How sweet. The Food was Delicious 😋 😍!!! The prices were upscale but so was the service and food- definitely worth it. The portions were large. The variety was awesome. We tried a bottle of Resling wine from a California venue which was light, fruity and semi sweet - just like i like it. There were 6 of us coupled off with a meal price around $150.00 to $250.00 per couple. I will definitely keep this place in mind for a return visit.

The Lobster Tails were perfectly cooked and it’s a big portion! The carrot cake is good but it’s a tad too sweet for my taste, it is a big portion so it’s good to share. Our server Derek was very attentive and friendly.

Valerie Laub: Absolutely wonderful! The new location is great and the inside is very nice with fun artwork. We celebrated Mother’s Day and had an excellent meal and our server, Miguel was so friendly and accommodating! He made the experience great. The food was delicious and the favorites were the filet & lobster tail, lobster mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts! For dessert, the cheesecake was amazing! We will be back for the next celebration!

Yauchin Lam: I proposed to my girlfriend here and it was the best service here. The steaks were good, the waiters was a good person, the wine was good, and the soup too. After I propose, we got really good tasting desert. Be prepared to spend money, but it is worth the price. I hope to go there again for our future wedding anniversary.

Beebea H: My daughter made a lunch reservation for 4 at the Capital Grille for lunch. We arrived slightly before our time and were seated immediately. Our server, Joharra (I hope I got that right) came over and told us the menu specials and took our drink order. She was friendly and professional. Throughout our meal she came at all the right times. She definitely helped make our time there more pleasant! Soon afterward we gave our drink order, and our bread selection w/butter was brought to the table. The bread was nice and warm, the butter was fresh with salt lightly sprinkled on top. It was very good. Our drinks came soon afterwards, and Joharra took our orders. I ordered the Seared Salmon with Avocado, Mango and Tomato Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette. My fiancé ordered the Parmesan Crusted Salmon with Roasted Garlic, white wine and lemon butter and he also ordered Potatoes Au Gratin as a side. My daughter ordered a special that had steak and a salad, and her boyfriend ordered the Signature Cheeseburger. We ordered calamari for the table as an app. We also ordered 2 crème brûlée , and an espresso flourless cake for dessert. Everything came very promptly. First the calamari. The flavor of the calamari was very good. Whatever it’s breaded with had a nice flavor that complimented the calamari. However, some of the larger clusters of tentacles were somewhat underdone. The breading wasn’t crisp in those clusters, and it had a bit of a wet, unappealing feel in those spots. All of the rings were done perfectly though and they were lightly crisp. My salmon was tasty, but a little overcooked for my taste. I like my salmon cooked to medium with a moist middle so it melts in your mouth. The accompanying salad was really good and perfectly dressed. I don’t like too much dressing and usually ask for it on the side. But this was perfect. My fiancé enjoyed his salmon and his au gratin potatoes, very much. My daughter’s boyfriend enjoyed his burger and said it was done the way he likes it. My daughter had asked for her steak medium rare (the server confirmed deep pink inside with medium pink throughout and my daughter agreed), but I think her steak came more medium or medium well. She seemed to enjoy it regardless and enjoyed the salad too. The desserts were very good. The espresso cake seemed a little too dense at first, but I think it was just a bit cold… we were seated outside (it was very hot that day) and after about 10 minutes the cake was much smoother. A much nicer texture. The espresso flavor was prominent and amazing. The crème brûlées had a rich vanilla flavor and a very satisfying crack when you broke the top, but didn’t have the soft-set, ‘barely holding its shape’ texture it should have. This was almost a custard-like flan, but still very good. Overall we were happy with our meals at the Capital Grille, and the service was perfection, as was the company and atmosphere. We had a wonderful time. I would go back any time we’re in DC. (Just discovered I put this review under the wrong Capital Grille so this is late getting up)

Racquelle White: Honestly one of the fanciest restaurants in DC. Not only is the cuisine impeccable, they also have incredible service and a healthy wine cellar. I'd recommend for a fancy date, or celebratory dinner. Price is worth the expense. My only complaint is that I wish it was just a bit more lit because the lights are extremely dim.

Lou Costanza: Sat at the outdoor patio on 17th Street. The service was very attentive. Steak was delicious. I really enjoyed my salad which was fresh. They have a nice selection of wines. Since we were at Malbec we ordered a glass of Malbec! Very impressed and will definitely be back

Traveling Clown: Loooved the dressing on the Classic salad. Tomatoes were so fresh and just the right amount of ripeness. Ordered the Parillada and enjoyed the variety meats with the red pepper and chimichurri dressings. Paired with Bornada red wine. Finished with creme brulee.

Belen Webber: Absolutely amazing food!! We had the barbecue for two which has every staple of a traditional Argentinian asado. I have to say that every bite was exquisite, good quality meats, cooked with smoked flavor and seasoned to perfection. We had the crepes and flan for dessert, both were as tasty as the entrée. Would go again on a next trip to Washington DC.

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because we've been there before and the food was great. So, I guess if you know the owners, you're in for a good time.

RC51rydr: Yeah went there for Valentine's dinner last night and honestly was not impressed for the money. The service was fine but the quality of the meats was not the best. The short ribs and skirt steak, which what I assumed would be the things to shine, were very grissley and chewy. Not what I was expecting for the money. Don't get me wrong, the flavor was there, just was spitting out more into a napkin than I was eating. Also they ran out of Salmon which is what I would assume was the delay in our food. I had noticed that 2 couples that came after us had their main courses a good 15-20 minutes before we received ours. They played bumb and just brought the food out and hoped we didn't notice there was no Salmon. Lol after bringing it to their attention they apologized and brought our more shrimp and meat to compensate....which the skirt steak the second time was of a much better quality. I don't know guys, I'd like to give them a second chance but not sure at the moment, so many more restaurants to try for this place not to leave a good memorable experience.
