Direct Answer, Inc. Call Center, E-Commerce Fulfillment, Lockbox: what do users think?

Cory Williams: I have been using Direct Answer for about 3 years now. I own my own HVAC company, and my only regret is not finding these guys sooner. After a friend recommended Them to me I placed an order of work shirts, sweat shirts, and jackets. Not only were they WAY cheaper than the other bids I had received and the other company I had been using. But they arrived faster and were a much higher quality than previous orders. I recently made a large order of button down dress shirts with my company logo on them. Not really having a specific brand or material in mind, I explained to Katie what I liked and didn’t like. Katie not only picked out one of the most breathable, comfortable, and best looking shirts I could imagine. She was also able to get me a great price on them. On top of that, when the order came in, Andy personally delivered them to me because he had gone through my entire order. Just to make sure the logo/ colors were perfect, and the stitching was up to his standards. This week I am having Direct Answer take over as the virtual receptionist for my company. To say that I like and trust Direct Answer is an understatement. They are as honest and upfront as a company can be. Being a business owner I take customer service very seriously. And yet I am blown away each and every time I deal with DA. If you’re looking for a company that does amazing work, saves you a lot of money, and makes running your business MUCH easier, then use Direct Answer.

Info MyBuckleMate: Exceptional Fulfillment Business Partner! MyBuckleMate has been working with Direct Answer since we launched our product company in 2013 and they have helped us grow from a tiny start-up into an international brand seamlessly. The customer support Katie's team provides is exceptional. Direct Answer's inventory management, order tracking and fulfillment are accurate and consistently beat our customers' timeframes which saves us money and has helped us earn repeat business and grow sales. Their service and capability matches anything we've seen in the market but what truly sets Direct Answer apart is that they are able to provide world class solutions at competitive prices with unmatched customer support. They are integral to our success!

Michele Loiacono: I have been working with Direct Answer for over 10 years now. The dedication Katie Rogers and her team at Direct Answer has for our mission and needs would make you think we were their only client. From bending over backwards to fulfill a simple or multi-step request to implementing all possible services necessary when needed, shows their commitment to our satisfaction. I would recommend them to any company/non profit who is looking for an extension of their own office staff....they literally are an extension of my office staff.

Steve Smith: Direct Answer staff is friendly, helpful, professional and a fountain of creative ideas. Their editorial suggestions, logo creation and design were unexpected but welcome additions to our marketing efforts. The service was prompt and professional and within original cost projections, no surprise additions. Product delivery was sooner than estimated and in great order. Finding a good print shop can be tough. Now we need look no further.

Tiffany Shaw: I love my position and my team here at DA. I feel like I am a part of something here and I love the work/life balance of being able to work from home! The management is fantastic and I feel as though I can reach out to them if I need to for any reason!

National Center for Weight and Wellness: what do users think?

Anna S: I have had the great pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Kahan for a number of years. Working with Dr. Kahan and his team has been a life-changing experience. They are by far the most caring group of health professionals I have worked with. Long term weight loss is tough and can be very depressing; Dr. Kahan remains positive when I may not be, and he puts weight loss ups and downs into perspective. Most importantly, he makes it clear he will never give up trying different approaches until one is found that works. I appreciate that he advocates a holistic approach to health care, recognizing that weight loss is both a mental and physical process. The team he has put together has diverse areas of expertise and there are a wide variety of supports in place--from individual to group work—to help. In all my years I have never met a doctor who is as compassionate and concerned. He gives 200% to help ensure your success.

Kendall Almerico: Dr. Scott Kahan at NCWW is one of the most caring, knowledgeable and professional physicians I have ever met. The entire staff is great, caring, and make you feel welcome and comfortable every time you visit. When I needed to drop a few pounds and just couldn't seem to make it happen, I reached out to NCWW and Dr. Kahan after receiving several glowing recommendations from friends and co-workers. Immediately when I first met him and his staff, they put me at ease and helped develop a safe and effective customized program that helped me to lose the few pounds I needed to lose, and more importantly taught me important lessons on how to keep the weight off, which I have now done for several years. I wish every doctor was as supportive and effective as Dr. Kahan. I also wish every physician reminded their staff to treat patients well as they are a reflection of the practice also - and Dr. Kahan certainly has done that at NCWW. I highly recommend Dr. Kahan and NCWW if you have health care/weight loss needs. You will not regret the decision. They are top notch!

J Co: If you need to lose a lot of weight, and it seems like you've tried everything, consider calling for an appointment to meet with Dr. Scott Kahan at the National Center for Weight and Wellness (NCWW) in DC., and just go from there! I first saw Dr. Scott Kahan on a Ted Talk and thought he was amazing -- and then I was able to see him in person, and he is in fact absolutely wonderful. He's non-judgmental, so supportive and extremely knowledgeable! The NCWW has an incredibly fun and supportive staff and there are a number of really interesting sessions you can attend throughout the week (from weight management classes to yoga -- to food shopping skills). Invest in yourself, give them a call!

marc machlin: I have great respect for the work of Dr. Kahan and his entire staff. They are extremely supportive and knowledgeable. With their advice and support, I have lost a substantial amount of weight and have reduced my blood pressure significantly. I am having success and I feel energized. I am extremely grateful to the entire team for their guidance and support.

Beth Jeans: When I stumbled across Dr. Kahan's Center, I was excited about the NOT-one-size-fits-all approach and myriad of activities and options. But "why even bother" haunted me. After all, trying program after program, *this-is-the-one* inevitably morphed to stumbling/gaining/giving up, with the customary emotional fallout . I was exhausted, and my health was bad. But slowly it became evident - the Center's approach is different: sustainable, life changing and life saving, if you are open to what the amazing staff offers. After reading another review, I'd like to mention that the Center has many plans and a la cart selections. Trying to explain it all via phone would take an awfully long time, not counting the inevitable questions. (I had a ton.) So orientations are held every Thursday and once a month on Saturdays. (No pressure, though.)

Erica Rothman: Dr. Kahan has not only been a great doctor to me the past few years, he has really become a friend that I look forward to catching up with. He is always positive and keeps things in perspective. When I moved from DC he made it clear that he would still always be around for me if I needed anything. We have had phone appointments to keep me on track and they have been really helpful. I cannot say enough good things about him!

Bernie Robinson: The female and male professionals who staff the National Center for Weight and Wellness genuinely care about those of us who reach out to them for advice, counsel and timely assistance. Our prospects for achieving our goals are totally within our reach and are our responsibility. The short and longer term benefits of working with the men and women of NCWW is access to their banks of knowledge, practical experience and their flexible willingness to custom tailor a program that works best for each of us !!! Bernie Robinson May 23, 2015

Rod Aminian: NCWW offered the most well-coordinated, comprehensive weight management program I've ever encountered (and I've been through a lot of them). They help you approach the issue from all angles, including nutrition strategies, monitoring your bloodwork, cognitive behavioral therapy, specific meal plans for your goals, etc. Services are offered both in one-to-one appointments, group work, and even some exercise classes (yoga). The staff are some of the most empathetic and knowledgeable people in the field of weight loss. I wholeheartedly recommend NCWW to anyone who struggles with weight/eating issues and seeks a long-term solution.

K Santora: I have had a terrific experience at the National Center for Weight and Wellness. I am a long-time patient and find the doctors and staff to be professional, competent and caring. They care about me as an individual and have made a difference in my life and my approach to health. I am ever grateful.

Clay Katsky: NCWW was exactly what I needed because Dr. Kahan and his colleagues focused on my individual needs, rather than trying to indoctrinate me into some sort of one-size-fits-all program. There is no "do this," or "do that," only "let's figure out what works for you." That's why they are the real deal.

Medics USA - Primary and Walk-In Care: what do users think?

James Matthews: The Columbia Heights location is trash. The wait time is ridiculous and I did all of my forms online. I don’t know what took so long to be seen. There was barely anyone there. The MA was cool and got what I needed. The doctor had a bad attitude and continued to over talk me while I was answering his questions, and even rolled his eyes at me. Just go anywhere, but here.

Mutanu D: Horrible! Horrible! Horrible and unprofessional! They rush you, are rude, talk about their potential patients in a foreign language, rush you and don't give you grace to figure out your insurance. Now I understand why the mortality rate of black women is high.
Response: Mutanu, we take complaints seriously and will investigate. Could you send an e-mail to our website, telling us which Medics USA office you went to and when? Thanks.

Ernest Robbins: Well I usually I don't write these post but the nurse here is very rude. She constantly rushed me and attempted to go her speed she stopped me. When u expressed to her how rude she has been she's not. I tried to move on with the test she actually stopped until she was ready. This is the Columbia Heights location , the nurse have attitude, the doctor wasn't too much. She didn't know my name and didn't introduce herself and why I asked her it "Its Erica". All of it just seemed rushed and unpleasant and uncomfortable.

Sylvia Krohn: Not as bad as the Dupont location, but that's not saying much. Although the place was empty I still had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. Front desk staff was awkward and couldn't understand the very basic issue I was having. The doctor was also awkward and rude, and spoke down to me several times. Why does this company employ so many people without basic social skills?

Aaron Angeles: I have had excellent service here multiple times. When my doctor has not been available they took care of my needs and communicated well with my pharmacy. I never waited excessive times. For emergency this place is very professional and effective. Lower back issues.

David Merrill: I have been going here for a few years, whenever I need to see a doctor right away. My regular doctor is usually too busy to see me without a wait of at least a few days. I have had nothing but good experiences. Of course in a walk-in type place there is sometimes a wait, but it isn't usually very long. (I noticed another reviewer complained about a 20 minute wait. In a walk-in clinic, that is great! Some places you will wait an hour.) The staff is courteous and professional, the office is always perfectly clean, and the doctors are great. I especially like Dr. Africa but all the doctors are good.

Paul: doctors seem fine and professional, but back office just does not care... Every time as I leave I ask what I have to pay, I pay whatever is needed. Mind you, obviously they also have my information, so they could call me. Instead, every time, about a month after visit I get a collections letter. Last time that happened, while annoyed I just paid that bill immediately, 2 months ago, yet I am trying to refinance my house and i have 120 point hit on my credit score, because they still didn't report my payment... That is the kind of service you can expect from them...

Vance Cunningham: I normally do not write reviews however my appointment recently with Dr.E was disappointing. For brevity, I've listed reasons below: 1. Upon arriving, she did not introduce herself which I thought was odd as this was the first time I'm meeting her. I had to ask her her name before I left. 2.Though I responded the first time and was met with "ok", I was asked 3 more times if I was allergic to penicillin. I started counting after the second time. 3. My questions were met with brief answers. Some facts I would expect her to be the first to mention such as "it appears you have a throat infection" or "I'm prescribing ____ to/because." 4. Aside from checking my lymph nodes. I cannot say that she looked up from her computer more than twice during our visit. Overall it was extremely impersonal which is ironic in a healthcare setting. With a policy change to pay $100.00 before ever seeing a doctor and being met with this service, I am doubting that you're getting your money's worth. I gave two stars as this has not been a reoccurring event but I would encourage looking at other professionals for medical help.

Matthew Mansfield: This is a great place to go if you have an emergency. I often don't need to see the doctor until I have an emergency, and they do a good job of getting you in and writing you a prescription. I've had them successfully treat me on a moment's notice for a stye (a few weeks before my wedding), the flu, and bronchitis. It's not a perfect service--the website has flaws that need to be fixed. But in a pinch, this is my go to for anything medically simple requiring immediate attention.

Alex DiCaprio: Service was very quick at the start. I was quickly brought in for the initial check by the nurse. Unfortunately waiting for the doctor was way too long. I was left waiting around 20 minutes. The doctor was nice, however, I feel as if he did not provide me enough verbal communication. I had an eye infection and was worried it was pink eye -- he instead immediately went to see if my cornea was scraped. He numbed my eye and then jabbed my eye with a needle without warning. I mean -- no one wants to know thats going to happen but I think communication would have gone a long way to me not screaming expletives with a needle in my eye. Regardless -- as far as the service is concerned -- I left with an antibiotic which eventually healed my eye,but I didnt feel as if I ever had fully understood what I was actually suffering from.

Washington Vascular Specialists: what do users think?

Mike Young: I went to the Takoma Park Maryland office for vascular work in my left leg. I have had trouble with this leg for over seven years and over twenty surgeries and I have never been treated better Than I was at the Takoma Park office. Everyone from the admittance personnel to the Techs, Nurses and Doctors. Chris and Bill have to be the nicest care givers I have ever met. I experienced a problem after the procedure and the staff went out of their way to help me. I ended up having to be transported by ambulance to Holy Cross and the staff stayed well after the office scheduled closing to make sure I was in good care. No amount of words can express my appreciation for the wonderful people at this office. Thank You Michael Young

era marshall: I am a very picky person when it comes to my health. When I went looking for a cardiovascular doctor, I searched around a lot until I found this wonderful office. Yes, they are extremely busy most of the time and that is because they are great at what they do. Sometimes I have waited several hours to get seen but, it has always been worth the time. The staff is always considerate and professional. Dr Choudry is simply amazing. He is very thorough and takes the time to talk to you about your complaints. His nurse is caring and as smart as can be. My surgery went well. I think his surgical team are the best. I thank God I found them.

Vivian Swann: My visit to Dr Choudry's office was a very pleasant experience. His staff not only saw to my comfort but to my visually impaired husband as well. I really appreciated that. So even though the wait time was long we were in no distress. The sonogram technician was efficient and helpful also; based on his results Dr Choudry was able to determine that one of my medicines is now unnecessary. The only drawback is the parking;; there is none except for paid parking because the office is near a hospital. So I left there a happy camper.

Irene English-Johnson: The office staff is very professional and yet very kind and helpful. Dr. Choudry was very understanding about my medical needs and and worked with me to make my office visit less stressful. It is extremely easy being a patient in a medical office that is so compassionate, kind and understanding.

Stephanie Kavounis: My experience today was amazing . His staff is wonderful . So loving and concerned about you as a whole person . You are not just a number . Warm kind words from staff I have nothing but praise for Dr Chaudry and his loving staff Ashley is amazing . Naomi is an angel .

Khalid Akhtar: Great front desk services, staff and excellent consultation. Have been with Dr Choudhry for the past 26 years. Cannot thank him enough for his treatment and advice. Saved me from a vary dangerous situation in 1995, and since then treated me throughout with excellent monitoring and health.

John Mullaney: Every visit I’ve had with Washington Vascular has been prompt and professional. Dr Choudry is always caring and informative with his patients. He has an excellent bedside manner. Ashley runs a tight ship, always making sure the patients are the priority. Victor, the ultrasound tech, was highly experienced and excellent with explaining the procedure. I’ve worked in the medical field for 33 years in both the clinical and hospital settings and will call it like I see it. I feel very comfortable having Dr Choudry and his staff take care of me and my vascular issues.

Jennifer Strachan: The doctors and nurse practitioners that we interacted with was very caring and professional. Dr. Choudry and nurse practitioner were very thorough and the crew on the other side who does the procedures were outstanding!

Stephanie Kavounis: Caring and loving and kind words are given to you the moment you step into the office . Jason , Ralph , Mark , Angie , Charlotte are excellent . They go above and beyond the call is duty . I have nothing but praise for Dr Choudry and his team of professionals . Ashley is an Angel sent from God . She has been there for me since 2016 .

Jackie Hancock: You have provided the best diagnose of PAD to me. You have my full attention as it pertain to my health. I am taking my meds daily and have gotten myself into the gym. Feeling better about myself and health. I will see you in six months. Thanks for opening my eyes as it pertain to PAD.

Farragut Medical And Travel Care: what do users think?

Christina Guglielmo: Loved Dr Bergstrom - was no nonsense and straightforward about all our travel precautions and concerns. Advised me and my husband how to protect ourselves abroad, was extremely timely and our nurse who administered our vaccines was wonderful. Expensive, but vaccines for travel are a part of the trip cost!

Digestive Center for Wellness: Dr Bergstrom and her staff at Farragut Medical are simply outstanding. I refer all my patients to her - as well as my family members. She provides the highest standard of medical care, and is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I know. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Francesca Darvish: So happy we found this place! We were in a pinch to find a place that performed expedited RT-PCR tests (the Nasopharyngeal Swab kind) for a trip to Barbados. It was super easy to make an appointment, and the staff helped answer a few questions for us ahead of time. Parking was really tough though around rush-hour, so definitely recommend taking the metro if you can. Once we got there, I was excited to see the test was performed outside. As soon as we got there, someone immediately checked us in, and the person actually performing the test came out soon after. Shutout to her (I wish I knew her name) because she honestly made getting a COVID test somewhat enjoyable. She was super friendly, bubbly, and even made me laugh during the test. On top of everything, we got the results the same evening, instead of 12:00 pm the next day. Can't recommend this place enough, and thanks again to you all for everything. Happy New Year, and wishing you all a safe and relaxing holiday at Farragut Medical
Response: Thank you!

Anusha Kashif: As someone who took their family from a different country here thinking they would be treated nicely I was shocked by the way the lady on the phone just started being rude when we asked her simple questions asking about confirming if our appointment went through. Also, asking to confirm for the location because as we booked the appointment it wasn’t showing on the confirmation email. Never going here again!
Response: So sorry you did not have the experience you expected. Our office, like many especially in in the healthcare in the US right now, is experiencing extremely limited staffing due to COVID and the pandemic. We have attempted to automate all our Covid testing communication to our website in order to be available to our primary care patients who need us on the phone. A small business like ours cannot confirm appointments that are already confirmed via email because we just do not have that manpower. Instead we have moved our resources to be able to help as many patients as we can. Thankfully there are many other places in DC where you can find testing and people have choices in where they want to go.

Laura Bennett: When Omicron struck our family of five, Farragut Medical was there for us. Dr, Bergstrom called immediately, and shepherded us through a trying time, including making herself available at the office for testing on a holiday weekend and patiently answering many questions on protocols, timelines, etc, to ensure a world-class standard of care. We can’t thank her and her team enough!

Konstantin: Great service. We did Antigen test there and results came 20 minutes after

Matt B: Avoid this location for PCR testing if you’re a government employee needing a travel test. While it was easy to get an appointment, the staff was very helpful and the testing experience was quick an easy. My issue is that they list “doctor visit” on the receipt for $150 (the whole test is $300) which is not reimbursable per DoD travel policy. I contacted the office to see if I could get a new invoice just listing the test as $300, they said “no” because of HIPAA rules.......🤔. So thanks, I’m out $150!
Response: Please call our office today and ask for the Medical Director

Erin Radomski: My husband and I had a great experience at Farragut Medical to get COVID tests. When we called to schedule we were given clear instructions/expectations over the phone and they were able to schedule us for a drive-up testing appointment that same day. Once we arrived, the whole thing took less than 5 minutes and the staff members were extremely friendly and professional!

Le Bustiere Boutique: Rapid PCR test was worth it since some of the other places the results are not coming back within 72 hours of traveling from experience.
Response: Thank you for your support!

Gary xyz: I will return to write my comment as I don't want to badmouth before but watch out. Don't go here. They are overpriced and not on the national network for healthcare providers so don't plan on any reimbursement from insurance. That's why they charge $295.

Eye Doctors of Washington: what do users think?

Janice Alder: Just had the best eye exam of my life! Ejiatu was the tech/physician’s assistant who did the tests and prep. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. I felt well taken care of. Dr Khan was also excellent! She understood my myriad issues and has a game plan for me that encompasses my overall health. Highly recommend!

Catherine: This is a terrible doctors office! My experience was the epitome of unprofessional. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment to sign in. After doing so there was no place for me to sit so I was forced to stand. A number of techs and doctors walked passed me, but no one acknowledged the fact that I was the sole person standing in the lobby. Turns out they were running terribly behind. I ended up waiting over an hour for a doctor that basically forced me out the door. She was kind enough to provide rudimentary information about a condition I've had for six years, and recommend doctors to which she only provided the name. "You can Google the addresses and numbers, right?!" Dr. Shah asked me after waiting over an hour to see her. Very classy! She informed me that she does do the procedure I inquired about but won't be getting more kits in this year. She refused to schedule a follow up appointment and acted as though they would never receive the kits ever again. This just sounded very fishy, and given how rushed I felt, I didn't feel as though me or my eyes were any significance to the people here. I saw Dr. Luckie for a few minutes on a previous visit, and she was very patronizing. I was scheduled without regard for my condition and wasted time, money, and was scheduled at the wrong office. They meant to schedule me with the cornea specialist who didn't have any more kits to perform the treatment she recommended. Please please stay away from this doctor's office! Go somewhere where you matter and where they take you as seriously as they take their money from the insurance company!

Jennifer Pack: Eye Doctors of Washington have been excellent in caring for and treating an eye condition I have. I feel able to ask them anything, and they give great explanations that teach and explain. Dr. Luckie in DC fits my Scleral contact lenses amazingly! She and her staff are so friendly and caring.

Miki'ala Miller: Staff at EDoW were great - communicative and caring. I was very impressed with them. My only issue with the place was the awkwardness of the waiting area. No tables on which to put place a purse, book, umbrella, or phone or coffee cup. I had to put all my stuff on the floor or try to hang my purse off the arm rest. Chairs were not spaced far enough apart for Covid concerns. And the chairs were really dirty. They need to make efforts to re-arrange the waiting area into a more workable, accessible set up.

Scott Mackey: I had my Lasik surgery done here yesterday, and my experience from scheduling my initial exam to the post-op appointment was top-notch. I scheduled my initial exam, which consisted of some scans and tests done by friendly and well-trained techs. After those tests I met with a wonderful gentleman named Johnny, who is the Refractive Coordinator. He was extremely friendly, and walked me through the results of my scans and how the procedure would go down. After he had explained everything to me, Dr. Clinch came in to meet with me himself and reiterated a lot of what Johnny had just said. From what I've read about him online, Dr. Clinch has an impressive portfolio of patients, and despite that, he was very humble and down-to-earth. I really appreciated that he felt it necessary to meet with me personally at this initial visit. I scheduled my next round of exams and scans to be conducted by another doctor in that office, Dr. Lee. In what came to be an expected trend of the staff here, she too was very friendly, thorough and professional. She also made a point to go back over how the procedure would go, and the after care that I would be expected to do. My next appointment was to be the actual surgery, but they needed me to come in for an additional round of scans beforehand, just to make sure they had all the information they needed to ensure my surgery would be as successful as possible. This was also conducted by Dr. Lee. On the day of my surgery, they had me come in about 30 mins before the actual time of the appointment to help prep me by giving me eye drops and medications to make the procedure easier. This was administered by Johnny, who was just as pleasant as ever. Afterward, they moved me to a very nice and comfortable waiting lounge area while I waited for my turn for the surgery. Admittedly, I had been really nervous about this procedure. However, Dr. Clinch was amazing about being very calming in his demeanor, and explaining everything he was doing as he was doing it. I always heard the surgery was painless and easy, and I would have to say that was absolutely the case. It is a weird experience overall, but they made it as comfortable as possible. Dr. Clinch was deft in his execution and I felt as at ease as I possibly could have. He finished my procedure, did some checks immediately after, and they sent me out with my take home bag including sunglasses for the light sensitivity, and goggles to protect my eyes while sleeping/resting. They fully prepared me by explaining that after the anesthetic wore off that it would feel a lot like having sand in my eyes and be fairly uncomfortable for about 6-8 hours. That was the case for me, so I took their suggestion and took a nap as soon as I got home. When I woke up I saw that I had a missed call from Dr. Clinch. He left a voicemail just checking to see how I was doing and thanking me for choosing him to do my surgery. I can't believe that he personally reached out to me like that! Really above and beyond! I had a post-op check at another one of their offices this morning with Dr. Luckie, who was very friendly and helped put to ease that my eyes were looking as they should be and that everything looked good. All my follow up appointments will be with Dr. Lee and Johnny will continue to be my point of contact should I need anything. As of today, not even 24 hours after my procedure, my vision is crisp and clear, with just a slight haze that, I understand, is a common experience this soon after the operation. I can already tell how life changing this will be. If you are considering this procedure or anything else that these offices/doctors provide, I HIGHLY recommend you go through with it. Honestly perfect experience! Thank you again so much!

David Fago: Dr. Fisher was very personable and helpful. She explained her findings thoroughly and noted that what I thought might be a problem (cataracts) isn’t yet, but that another concern (optic nerve health) will require further evaluation and follow-up. I’m very pleased with her care and attention.

Jeremy Faircloth: I went in because I had just recently begun having minor but recurring issues with my eye. All the people I dealt with in the hour wait prior to actually meeting the doctor were lovely and wonderful. The doctor walked in, gave me 30 seconds to talk, diagnosed me, and tried to hand me off to an aide. I had to stop him as he was heading out the door to ask what the cause was. “I don’t know. Any other questions?”

Ardella Newman: DR. Kenneth Schor M.D. is simply the best. I would definitely recommend him to others because of his knowledgeable caring manner. Plus, he engages me in my appointment in a thoughtful, respectful manner, he makes it easy to ask questions. He is AWESOME!👍🤗👍

Flo Lee: I was extremely afraid of getting LASIK because I had an extremely high prescription. But after a few of my friends had good experiences even with PRK, I decided to search around for a consultation. I am so glad I found EDOW and cannot say enough good things. Maggie was my coordinator, and she was amazing. She was constantly available to answer my many questions leading up to the procedure and was extremely communicative about what to expect. I had some trouble getting the eye drops I needed due to some health insurance coverage issues, but Maggie was really quick to help me troubleshoot and find a good price. I am so grateful. The procedure itself went smoothly as was my recovery. Dr. Clinch was efficient and his manner put me at ease before, during, and after the surgery. If you are looking to do LASIK, I highly recommend at least checking out EDOW to see if they are a good fit for you!

charles osborne: Dr. Schor and Team are wonderful. Went thru numerous eye tested and was explained each process and what to expect. Dr. Schor was super professional and thorough. He explained everything to me and several options. The office was clean and orderly and had plenty of covid protocols and protections in place.

The Washington, D.C. Center for Neurocognitive Excellence LLC: what do users think?

Neal Eckert: I had the privilege of working with Schuyler in a contracting-type role for several years. During that time, I grew to understand the rare combination of abilities Schuyler possesses. He continuously educates himself from a mental health standpoint, is extremely detail oriented and whip-smart. At the same time, Schuyler is driven by an uncommon, non-judgmental compassion for individuals needing mental relief. That humility, approachableness and authentic concern, combined with expert clinical abilities, will put you at ease, make you feel valued and ensure that excellent treatment takes place. I have no doubt that Schuyler and his team will do anything they can to help you and your loved ones.

Sarah Katherine Tipler: I worked for The DC Center for Neurocognitive Excellence for several years and had a wonderful experience as their lead therapist. Schuyler, the practice owner, was great to work with and he and the other therapists at the center provide exceptional, cutting edge services to their clients. I highly recommend them!

Jeff DiNardo: I've worked with Schuyler before who is a clearly skilled provider. I enjoyed working under his supervision and have since referred many individuals to this center for these specialized services. Definitely recommend reaching out for a consultation if you are looking for services.

Mary Kay Rehard: I have been fortunate to work with Mr. Cunningham, and I especially appreciate his expertise in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based trauma treatment. He is a skilled, compassionate clinician who understands the importance of human connection in the healing process. Mr. Cunningham is energetic, wise, diligent, and committed to ethical practices. I highly recommend him and his team for anyone seeking a strengths-based approach to recovery and wellness.

Brendan Hines: I am a neurofeedback technician who has been working for DCNE for nearly a year, and my experience with the center has been incredible. From the expert training I was given as a new tech, to the educational and professional opportunities that have been afforded to me in my work at DCNE, I have had nothing but positive experiences. And these extend to our patient contact as well: we provide a supportive environment for patients with ADHD and other psychiatric issues that extends from our technicians to therapists and upper management. If you are someone seeking treatment or counseling for ADHD or other mental illnesses, I cannot recommend DCNE enough. You will be supported by a network of people who are knowledgeable about mental health and truly care about your well being.

Calli Bianchi: I began working at DCNE in 2021 and have always felt incredibly supported by the staff. My favorite thing about working here is feeling like I am part of a team of practitioners that care about making a difference in others' lives. I really value working with my clients in the Washington, DC area and am thankful for DCNE for making it easy to do so.

Ben Turley: I had the pleasure of working with DCNE as a provider and contractor. I can attest that it is an excellent clinic that takes a a personalized approach to mental health with staff that care deeply about their patients.

Rachel Brandon: Schyler is an excellent clinician, mentor, or researcher. Having worked with him on research projects and learning from him at NIH, I can confidently recommend him.

Will Hopton: Extremely professional and conscientious. This clinic is very well run and promotes a welcoming atmosphere of judgement free engagement.

Joseph Mendrala: I highly recommend this Center for everything you and your family. If you're looking to build authentic connections and relationships that align with your treatment plan, this is the place for you.

Medics USA - Primary and Walk-In Care: what do users think?

Laleh Pedramrad: It is awful urgent care. I had an appointment to see the doctor and I arrived 10 minutes earlier. The place is not crowded at all as you can see in the picture but I need to wait for ever to see the doctor and put me in the patient’s room for ever. OMG I will never ever go back to this place anymore.

Latoya Domino: I will never go back to this place. They are extremely unprofessional, incompetent folks. The doctor was great and he didn't take long to see me but upon waiting to get my blood work done and to have my medication called in because it was my first visit... I had to wait a whole hour just to get blood work done. I had to go in the hallway to find out what was going on and why no one came to draw my blood or even attempt to check me out. Their attitude was very rude and lack of care and they didn't even know what was going on. In my opinion I feel the whole staff needs to be replaced with folks that care and have compassion and knowledge of their skills. My advice... Go here at your own risk. Reading these reviews I see I'm not the only one that feels this place is full of incompetent staff.

Nunu Loedrr: This doctor cursed me out about a mask. He was one of those radical pro mask activist DO NOT RECOMMEND this place the Doctor John Spargo he’s tall Caucasian man that looks like hank hill. He smell like liquor and his eyes were bloodshot red as if he just took a long lunch break at a bar. DO NOT SERVICE THIS ESTABLISHMENT because if he talk to me like that in my face there’s no telling what he saying about you to yours. Good day

Ryan Fleming: Apart from being remarkably rude in general, and for of course long wait times, Medics USA had two other things going against it. First, they failed to process the insurance claim correctly which caused problems. Second, the physician made pretty disparaging remarks about minority populations which was a bit shocking. In general both doctors I saw had horrible bedside manner, but being casually racist is beyond the pale. I would highly recommend that you go anywhere else.

Noah Slosberg: Really awful experience here, believe the other reviews. I scheduled an appointment for 1:30 at 1, and was told I could come in immediately. When I got there the wait was 1 hour!! The front desk told me it would only take 30 minutes, which was a blatant lie because the receptionist in the back said it would be more like an hour!! I currently have Covid and desperately needed a prescription, to which the doctor sarcastically told me that I should go to the ER and get monoclodial antibodies! It was really incredibly rude and an awful experience. I really recommend skipping this place and going literally anywhere else. Why would they tell me to come in if they then clearly were overbooked?? Especially when I knew I had Covid and told them this and they said there they couldn’t help me! Really awful experience. And they were incredibly aggressive about it too and told me I wasn’t wanted when I was just following their instructions!!

Nicole Ward: The make it incredibly difficult to get a prescription refill and have not been accommodating during the pandemic. I have asthma and have needed refills for my asthma medication. During the height of the pandemic, before vaccinations, they expected me to make an appointment for a refill. I was in the office 6 months ago and the doctor wrote me a prescription with zero refills. I now need a refill and they won’t give me one unless I come in for a full physical.

Bernardo Berges: The only thing this place did well was diagnose me with the flu. Everything else was horrendous. I called earlier in the day to schedule an appointment for later in the evening and confirmed with the person that the appointment was scheduled. I gave them all my information and was ready to go. When I arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment, I was disappointed to find out that there was no record of my appointment on their system. I showed the front desk agent my call and the info I had but I was put on the list as a walk-in. It's fine I thought, these things happen sometimes. After waiting for about an hour and a half, I was finally seen by a nurse. I explained my situation and the symptoms I was feeling for two separate issues. He did two tests, one of which was the flu test. The other test was not the one that I needed so I still have to visit another doctor because he did a blood test instead of oral test even after explaining to him that my symptoms were with my throat and was explained at another place that I needed the oral swab. After the tests, I had to wait again before the doctor saw me. The doctor spent some time with me and informed me that I had the flu. He said he put in a prescription to my pharmacy and that I should go pick it up tonight. However, because of the large wait times from the appointment not being properly booked and then waiting for everything after, my pharmacy had already closed. He said he would resend the prescription to another pharmacy close by that was still open. Feeling extremely sick from the flu and wanting to go home after the 2+ hours I had spent, I forced myself to go to the new pharmacy. Lo and behold, they had not sent any prescriptions to that pharmacy and could not find anything in their system for me. I tried calling Medics USA but because it was now past their closing time, I was met with an automated answering machine and no way to reach anyone who could help me. I had to go home and wait for the next morning to get my medicine. The next morning, I went to the original pharmacy where I expected my prescription to be ready. Unsurprisingly at this point, they were unable to find anything in their records for me. After a little bit of research, we finally figured it out. They had indeed received my prescription and it was ready, the only issue was that Medics USA got my name, phone number AND e-mail all wrong. In other words, they screwed up every single piece of identifiable information. I had to call them to update my info and make sure that I could register for their web portal after this because I had not received an email since it was sent to the wrong address. This place deserves 0 stars and judging from the amount of reviews here, I am not alone. If you have the option, I highly recommend finding another urgent care center as this place is simply not acceptable. I will not be returning.

David Pansegrouw: I have been going here for a few years as my PCP. Very satisfied. Members of my family have come here at times also and have always been treated well. Dr. Rashid and his staff are excellent.

Julie McCune: I brought my friend to the R St NW location for a few stitches to her forehead after a fall. The front desk service staff were very helpful and friendly. We were walk-ins without an appointment and only had to wait 45 minutes. However, I don’t feel confident that my friend received the best care. Based on a form we filled out, they said she probably had a mild concussion. But they didn’t check her pupil dilation. They also didn’t ask follow-up questions or check her head for injuries to her scalp or facial bones. My friend got three stitches but was not given any instructions for wound care until we specifically asked for them. The PA who did the stitches told us that we shouldn’t get the wound wet or apply Neosporin for 2 days. After the PA left and the nurse came back, the first thing the nurse did was swab the wound with water, and then recommend that we use Neosporin. It shook our confidence to be given opposite instructions by two different medical staff. I was also a little concerned about the hygienic standards. The office was clean but the PA and nurse both wore gloves and touched many surfaces in the office, even the door knob, and didn’t change the gloves before treating her. Overall, I expected a higher quality of care and clearer communication. In the future, I would try a different clinic rather than go back to this one.

David S: Urgent care, no frills! I got seen when nobody else would take my appointment. Doctor listened and helped me with get diagnosed. Called my insurance beforehand so I didn't have any issues.

International Spine, Pain & Performance Center: what do users think?

Sandy B: Very impressed with how efficient the whole team is. From the front desk to the nurse to the doctors. My appointments have always been on time and the facility is always clean. The doctors are great, and my first time steroid shot experience in my back couldn't have gone any better. They put you at ease and explain the whole process beforehand. They are very good at distracting you away from the needles :) Thank you to everyone who took care of me during this process. I could not recommend them enough.

Jason Burns: Dr. Desai and his team are amazing. After years of back pain, and not seeing any improvement I am on the road to recovery. The doctors and staff are compassionate and caring. I am lucky to have found them.

Robert Oerter: Dr. Desai is very knowledgeable and you really feel he cares about you as a patient. He took time to discuss the results of my procedure and the next steps. My only complaint is that sometimes it feels like he has one foot out the door when he is talking to you. At one appointment he literally had one hand on the doorknob as we were finishing up our discussion.

Erik Lang: Dr. Desai is very perceptive and proficient at diagnosis and care. He is a good listener and very proactive. I would highly recommend him. His staff are nice. He usually has a few Residents and/or Interns that he is mentoring. It’s good that they have someone like him to learn from.

Michael McClellan: Dr Desai and his Staff are friendly, capable, and efficient. Dr Desai is excellent at comprehending your situation, summarizing it, responding to your statements and questions, prescribing treatment options, and helping you to your solution. You are invited to contact him (through his office) with inputs/questions and to return for further treatment if needed.

Jackie Smith: Dr. Desai and his staff are always incredibly kind and helpful. I've been coming here for a few months to manage a lifelong cervical spine issue and I can't say enough good things. (And I've seen about 50 specialists throughout my life at this point....so lots of data here.) Dr. Desai really listens, considers the evidence and offers rational advice -- being conscious in my case that I don't want to take a lot of medications (if I can help it) and would like to put off surgical intervention for as long as possible. He keeps up with the latest tech and knows about the newest techniques for management and intervention, so if you have questions about that latest procedure and your chances of success -- this is the guy to go to! It's easy to schedule an appointment (<10 mins on the phone, not an hour-long process like some places) and I'm able to be seen within two weeks, which is not always true of specialists. They also utilize an online portal for managing paperwork, results and receipts etc. -- wonderful! The physical therapy staff is also top notch, working with Tori has been the best PT experience I've had. I can't recommend Dr. Desai and the team enough!

Erin Phillips: I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to leaving a review for Dr. Sayal and his NP Gwen. If it was possible to leave more than 5 stars I would. For the past 5 years I’ve been living in pain, in and out of the ER and frequent hospital admissions due to pain related to a chronic illness. For those that experience chronic pain you know how difficult it can sometimes be to find health care providers that are understanding of your pain and are empathetic towards it, as pain is so subjective. Dr. Sayal and Gwen have amazing bedside manner and take the time to listen and work with you to establish the most appropriate plan of care. They understand that everyone and every case is different. I’ve never had an issue with getting an appointment that fits into my complicated schedule and their office staff is always friendly and welcoming. They are very punctual and on time, I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. When I’ve been admitted to the hospital at VHC, Dr. Sayal comes to see me at the bedside to lay eyes on me and ensure that my pain is being properly controlled by my care team. This practice has been an absolute blessing and has given me hope again at being able to live a normal life. Hands down, 100% would recommend to anyone in need of pain management.

Tania Rodriguez: Dr. Desay is not only well versed, educated and an expert on his field. He hears you as a patient which for me is a very crucial part of a pain management doctor. His office staff is excellent and his team for procedures is excellent. Can’t say enough good things about him and his office

Jasmin Naficy: I left my visit with Dr. Desai with the impression that he is a really intelligent guy with an excellent/sorely needed good bedside manner. He’s very kind and present. Where are the other doctors in shining armor like this. He knows his stuff. Dr. Desai was able to test and observe my joints and identify with authority a previously unknown orthopedic problem with his team. I have a very tough case of pain, and am seeing someone for long-term management. Dr. Desai was not deterred by the challengIng nature of this awful situation and treated me with the utmost dignity. For the current orthopedic requirement I feel assured and comfortable around him. I am super pleased and feel more comfortable overall, like I’ll finally be able to move forward now. His doctor’s assistant was focused, super-kind, effective and thorough — I hope he gets into the med school of his choice. :)

Donald Featherstone: Dr. Desai's office admin was able to schedule an appointment within days of my initial inquiry. The nurse timely interviewed me upon arrival, and, to my surprise, I was able to be treated on that first visit. Very professional.

Eye Doctors of Washington: what do users think?

Ms Ma: Second visit, since my long-time ophthalmologist retired. My primary care physician highly recommended Dr. Jacobson. He, and his assistant Christopher, give thorough exams, and detailed explanations. Don't hesitate to make an appointment.

Michael Orenstein: Through my visits with Dr. Jacobson I feel confident in saying he is a caring practitioner, one who actually listens to patient concerns and symptoms, develops a game plan, and then carefully explains the testing and his diagnosis and treatment options. He also welcomes your questions if his answers get a little blurry (pun intended). And just today, he wasn't quite happy with an image of a muscle(??) around the eye, so he took additional time with me for a re-shoot. I would hope ALL doctors operate this way.

Kecia Reynolds: Dr. Luckie is great! I highly recommend her. The assistant was also good. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because neither the receptionist nor the glasses person in the lobby said hello when I walked in and either was helping anyone.

Amin Shaheen: One of my most time efficient visits to Dr. Jacobson. He is very thorough and has a great bedside manner. His staff was very friendly, courteous and professional! Keep it up guys!

Chris O'Flinn: Dr. Jacobson is the most thorough ophthalmologist I've ever seen. He inspires confidence. The office is very well equipped and well run by pleasant people.

Mark Jacobson: Dr. Howard Jacobson has been my ophthalmologist for at least 20 years. He is extraordinarily thorough, professional and conservative in his examinations, treatments, and recommendations. I have never hesitated to accept and follow his advice. Definitely a "top doc" in his field.

Nick S: I totally trust my eyes to Dr Jacobsen and his staff. They are knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and great in emergencies as well as routine checkups. The best.

tamika sujuane: Dr. Luckie was very attentive and informative, answering all of my questions and adressing my concerns in detail with patience and grace! I consider myself lucky to have found such a wonderful, insightful and caring ophthalmologist!

sophie DiBIase: specially asked if i could be fitted for contact lenses when making my appointment over the phone was told yes and then came in and was told i would have to make another appointment to see a different doctor to get fitted for lenses completely ridiculous to not be fitted for contacts when getting an eye exam. really disappointing. super frustrating to have to make another appointment when i was told over the phone that would not be an issue. EDOW is bad.

Allyson Terry: Dr.Jacobson is the best eye doctor I have ever been to. He is thorough. Takes his time. Nobody better.

The Retina Group of Washington: what do users think?

Angel Jackson: I have really bad anxiety when it comes to medical procedures of ANY kind. They were patient with me, even when it almost seemed like I couldn't get it under control. They gave me time, water & thoroughly explained the procedure that was going to take place. Dr. Huang was really nice & thorough. Don't think I'll be as anxious my next visit

princess abudabah: The office staff are friendly and typically greet you by name as you enter the door. I miss Dr. Spellman’s personal touch though. Even though he was always busy he took time to speak with you and remember things about you. Since he is retired I now see Dr. Venkat. I have no complaints about the excellent service she provided. I do wish she were more personable. After waiting for over 45 mins for the office visit, her actual examination felt rushed and perfunctory.
Response: Princess, thank you for sharing your feedback with our physicians and staff.

roderick johnson: The assistants were helpful and courteous. The time at the clinic has improved from 3 hours down to an hour and a half. Superior service would be in and out in one hour.

Jacqueline Hancock: My experiences here are truly outstanding. Dr. Sonya is the best ever. Staff is constantly cleaning to keep clients safe. Thanks for caring.

Xenon Booth: The wait is always quite long, but everyone is very friendly. Dr. Bryant is amazing and as well as all the nurses.

Dab B: The staff was very personable and professional. Dr. Bryant was very patient explaining the issues and provided options as necessary. Very professional.

Richard Greene: An overall good experience. The reviews indicating that there is a wait time are true. I had a 2pm appointment and did not leave until 4pm. That said they have a lot of patients, which means there’s a slight delay in appointment times. That aside I felt the staff was professional, courteous, and had a good bed side manner as they explained everything they were doing and answered all my questions. The doctor (can’t recall her name at the moment) was also good and gave me confidence that she knew what she was doing, which is what you want when someone is messing around with your eyes!

Laura Scharfenberg: I am uncertain how to rate my visit today. I had to leave the office after waiting for approximately two hours. When I asked when I might expect to be seen, the receptionist said it may still be another 30-45 minutes and that when coming in for an appointment, I should plan on allowing 3-4 hours. I have high regard for Dr. Spellman, and appreciate his willingness to be thorough with his patients as well as the fact that he has a number of emergency patients each day. However, I do not appreciate spending 3-4 hours in the office, the vast majority of which is in the waiting room. There must be a better system. That said, his staff is very considerate and professional and I have great respect and confidence in everyone I have encountered in the office. I am considering making a follow up appt with his colleague for whom I was told the time in the waiting room is not nearly as long.

Brian Niemiec: Had a really great experience. They were able to see me the same day, which was awesome. Dr Huang did a thorough exam and helped me understand what was happening. It alleviated my fears. I would highly recommend Dr Huang at RGW.

F Slacum: Great customer service from the start! Thank you Dr. Bryant! And thanks to your entire team!!

Washington Eye Doctors - Downtown, DC: what do users think?

Jim Liu: I visited Washington Eye Doctors for my dry eyes. Dr. Rosenblatt is awesome, he is very respectful and professional. Zero pressure when you talk to him. After the treatments, I feel absolutely better. Eye dryness is painful, and someone says it's more like a disability than a disorder. I can't agree more. Before I get the treatments, I can't even sit down and type these words for like 15 mins. Now I am not 100% recovered but at least I could work and study like a normal person. I am still using prescribed medications and I am confident that this problem is treatable. If you have dry eyes, try to contact Dr. Roosenblatt is the best advice I could give.
Response: Dear Jim, Thank you for taking the time to provide us and others with a great review. Our mission is to make certain that every patient "Loves What They See." and how they see. Our goal is to provide every patient with exceptional: Quality, Service and Knowledge, our three founding pillars.

Amanda Blake: The absolute best choice for dry eye! I had been suffering for years, and now my eyes are drastically better after only three months of proper treatment. Dr. Abraham is excellent. He explains things very clearly and listens to concerns with compassion. I really appreciate his help and cannot recommend Washington Eye Doctors highly enough, especially for dry eye patients.
Response: Dear Amanda, Thank you for taking the time to provide us and others with a great review. Our mission is to make certain that every patient "Loves What They See.". Our goal is to provide every patient with exceptional: Quality, Service and Knowledge, our three founding pillars.

Karen Moe: Dr Rosenblatt has been my eye doctor for many years and worked with me to get my proper correction for nearsightedness. My extra-sensitive system was previously over-corrected and his prescriptions enabled my vision to be more relaxed and stabilize. The glasses are high quality and good fit. I’m especially fond of the nearly weightless frames and lenses.
Response: Dear Karen, Thank you for taking the time to provide us and others with a great review. Our mission is to make certain that every patient "Loves What They See.". Our goal is to provide every patient with exceptional: Quality, Service and Knowledge, our three founding pillars.

Jacques Moore: I’ve been a customer and patient at Washington Eye Doctors for about a year and a half. Overall it’s been great. The front desk staff are pleasant. Dr. Rosen later is knowledgeable, kind and takes time to answer questions and explain things in layman’s terms. I think perhaps one of their frame and lens specialists might need more training on listening to the customer and clearly understanding my needs before recommending something that doesn’t work (i.e. fit me properly). But the other two I’ve worked with have been excellent.

Janet Davis: I have been a patient of Dr. Michael P. Rosenblatt's for 12+ years. The staff has always been professional, polite, accommodating, and pleasant to be around. Dr. Rosenblatt is knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. I have never had an issue and have recommended at least 5 friends to them. Within the last 4 years I had to change insurance companies which meant that I had to change eye doctors. Even with a long absence upon my return I was treated like family. Although I only visit for contact lenses he is still my favorite eye doctor in the city and I will continue to recommend the Washington Eye Doctors.

They guided me through bifocals as a kid, contacts as an adolescent and Lasik as an adult. 25 years after Lasik I still have near perfect vision. I just went back for night driving glasses. Always quick, efficient and thorough consistently over the decades.

Shady Grove Fertility Center in Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Nithya Mani: I highly recommend Dr. Nair and Shady Grove Fertility. Dr. Nair (and all the staff at the practice) were incredibly compassionate and attentive to our needs. I feel so lucky to have found her and had her as my fertility doctor. She always listened to me and made time to answer my questions. I never felt rushed or pushed to make decisions and always felt heard. She personally called me on several occasions to discuss next steps and was cheering me and my husband along every step of the way. I especially appreciated her advice and support as we moved from IVF to donor egg IVF - it was something we had not explored and are so grateful for her sage and kind advice throughout the process. She will always be a key part to our story and I hope to stay in touch for the rest of our pregnancy and journey! We also loved our IVF nurse, Christina - she was always super cheerful, helpful and patient in answering all my detailed questions and made the process feel less daunting. Thank you SGF for all your support!
Response: Nithya, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Dr. Nair, Christina, and or K Street team! Feedback like this really helps motivate us on a daily basis. We appreciate that you chose SGF for this journey.

Aisha Williams: The IVF journey is frustrating, challenging and emotional. I have waited three weeks to allow time to reflect and share my personal experience with SGF (K street) as a patient. Overall the experience was not very positive due to how things were communicated, limited access to my physician and certain standards of communication. The positives first: my sonographer, Latrice was amazing. She took the time to learn my cycle as we went two rounds together. The amazing and musically joyful crew who constantly kept me smiling and jamming as they drew early morning blood. Beyond that, I wish I would have done better research in my choice selection. The website boasts “individualized approach” my engagement with SGF was attuned to a fast-food chain. The interactions rushed, cookie cutter updates, like going to McDonald's but receiving a bill for a five-star wagyu steak dinner. If you are looking for one-on-one attention, look somewhere else. All the doctors are on a rotation, and it is rare you will speak or even see them at appointments. Unless as I was informed, I change what is best for me to what was on the schedule for my doctor (Dr. Nair). On the rare occasions, Dr. Nair had to change her schedule to meet mine. It was often met with disdain and the unnecessary sharing of “how busy she was, or how she’s making so many adjustments just for me”. This was a theme I heard multiple times from her and her nursing staff. My advice to SGF is to hire more people; clearly you aren’t short of income. As a “self-pay” patient who’s insurance didn’t cover IVF to be told constantly how busy everyone is or how I should be grateful for Dr. Nair’s time was very disappointing and counter to the “individualized approach” advertised. In no situation is anyone’s time more important than anyone elses. The unsatisfactory communication happened during both of my processes. I had to constantly ask for updates, challenge why we weren’t taking a more aggressive course and even get my mom involved to combat frustration or repeating myself and still getting the same behavior from staff. If you’re a gluten for punishment and decide to go to SGF don’t get shamed into feeling like you can’t ask questions or question a recommended path. (especially if you’re multiple rounds in). This is a multi-million-dollar industry where the hospital, doctors and pharmaceutical companies always win. Make sure you hold people accountable and are in the right place, with the right team to increase your chances of a winning hand.

Katie Wagner: I had a fantastic egg freezing experience at SGF! Dr. Widra and his team were knowledgeable, communicative, and reliable and through every step of the process. The K Street teams were consistently friendly on each visit and made themselves available for phone calls when I had questions in the beginning and throughout my cycle. Don’t be afraid to ask your questions about the process as a whole, medication options/pricing, what you’re seeing on the ultrasound screen, etc. The team was always happy to help and explain. I highly recommend the injection class as well—it was very helpful to practice and ask questions. SGF is a top-tier fertility center and I’d recommend it to anyone pursuing fertility preservation!
Response: Katie, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Dr. Widra and our K Street team! We love hearing from our patients, it really helps us to ensure we are providing the best possible care.

Ruthlxss ?: Horrible place to go. they only care about the money. They are very rude from the upstairs management to the bottom floor medical staff, They will definitely talk about the patients who can not pay their co pays at of service when they leave. They will lose paper work and make it a blame game. The MA are horrible and are on there cell phones all day they can can careless. Half of the financial team just pushed paperwork thru for the money and not even try to help patients with a solution.. Lets not get on the team leader of the front desk we don't have all day to spend on how she seems to never know or be confused about everything she is doing then she becomes agitated and pushed you out the door so she wont have to deal with you . when you call to make an appointment that alone is a struggle. I called once and spoke with cecila who was rude and also did not know how to book my appt which resulted in her hanging up on me. I called back someone stated "Oh she must have disconnected by accident" when clearly it wasn't. Over all please spend your money at a more professional place that actually cares about your journey and not your deposit.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We use all patient feedback as an opportunity to learn and improve. We would like to hear more about your specific situation, please reach out to our SGF Patient Experience Advocate, Susan Allen, RN, by emailing at SGFPatientAdvocate@sgfertility.com or at 571-350-8493. Thank you.

Luísa Ulhoa: Shady Grove is a zero empathetic and horrible place, which is all you don't need when you are seeking fertility treatment. I came in for a consultation with Kimberly Moon due to recurrent miscarriages and her knowledge on the subject was almost zero. She had no information to give us other than what our OB had already given, being completely outdated with the latest research on the subject. She offered no extra tests for us, although many tests could have been requested that have been already scientifically proven to be the cause of miscarriages. Then she proceeded to push IVF on us, which was completely not the solution in our case. After a frustrating visit, I kept receiving thousands of emails and calls from Shady Grove asking when I was going to start the IVF processs. Clearly, they are only interested in the money, not in finding a solution to our issues. To top the lack of knowledge and completely wrong follow-up, they charge you USD100 to schedule the first appointment, that they claim will be used for future visits/ treatment. On top of that, they charged me for the copay on the appointment (that should have been covered by the USD100), and even after I paid, they charged me AGAIN!!! If you want or really need an IVF, this might be a place to get it, since it's what motivates them and makes their money, but if you need a sympathetic place that really looks into your needs and treats you like a human, not a wallet, run away from this horrible place.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We would like to have a better understanding about your experience. Please reach out to our Patient Experience Advocate, Susan Allen, RN at 571-350-8493 (or by emailing SGFPatient Advocate@sgfertility.com) at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to resolve this with you. We use all patient feedback as an opportunity to learn and improve our care.

GraceFaithJourney: Good Morning, I usually do not like writing reviews, but I had a great time this morning here at SGF D.C location. To me, the staff are very friendly and respectful. I wish I had everyone that help me names. The service was very fast and professional. The lady answer all my questions . I know before going I took time and was reading everyone reviews. My husband told me, “ let God go with you and everything will be ok” and that what I did. Thank you
Response: Gracefaithjourney, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with SFF K Street team! Feedback like this really helps motivate us on a daily basis. We appreciate that you chose SGF for this journey.

Zygmunt Czykieta: The staff are polite, however, their lack of understanding how their own organization functions caused the situation where—after multiple calls and a previous visit—my sample was throw-out in front of me. Be prepared to waste your time, or at a minimum, spend time learning how their organization operates as their employees do not know themselves.
Response: Zygmunt, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We have strict regulations about accepting tissue samples, including requiring an order from a SGF if you are a patient or by an outside physician. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept/analyze walk-in samples without a physician order specifying the test required. If you have further questions please call Amy Davis, Regional Executive Director 301-545-1366

Luwecine Stephenson: The team is so warm, nice and welcoming! The only downside is the location. The staff works hard at getting you in and out. The nurses are so nice and patient. I have no complaints! Amazing team!
Response: Luwecine, Thank you for your positive feedback! Providing patients and their families with the highest level of care is our number one goal at Shady Grove Fertility. Your review is sincerely appreciated.

Alex B: The staff at this center had absolutely no compassion or sensitivity. The waiting room was packed, in spite of the pandemic, with no social distancing. I asked the technician to explain what she was going to do before she did it, and she refused! She didn't even introduce herself. Her attitude was "strip and spread your legs, or get out." Absolutely no effort was made to help me feel more comfortable, even after I started crying. I was not treated like a patient and was barely treated like a human. Apparently they think they are selling fast food, and not getting involved in one of the most private and intimate parts of people's lives. On top of that, they "forgot" to give me my test results for weeks. I had to call multiple times to get them to do their job. I am so glad that I am going to a different clinic for the remainder of my treatment. I could not endure this kind of behavior a second time.
Response: Alex B, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Thank you.

Page Little: We had a very positive experience working with Dr. Devine and her nursing team, KC, Vanessa and Toyin. Everyone was very responsive and always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr Devine and SGF for your fertility journey!
Response: Page, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Dr Devine, KC, Vanessa, Toyin and our team! We love hearing from our patients, it really helps us to ensure we are providing the best possible care. Your recommendation means so much to us!

Eye Doctors of Washington: what do users think?

Esther Thomas: My experience with Eye Doctors of Washington have always been positive. I am greeted with kindness by the staff. They are very professional and respectable towards myself and others. My doctor, Dr. Schor, has always been respectable and friendly. Dr. Schor always provides me with updates about my treatment for glaucoma. He's highly qualified providing all the advanced treatment options for me to manage glaucoma . Everyone is very kind and caring.

Jocilyn Budda: Dr Lee and Dr Clinch have been wonderful through every step of my lasik experience. They answer all of my questions and they urge me to reach out if I have any concerns. Their demeanor is calming and put me at ease through the entire process. Would recommend them to anyone considering lasik.

Paula Bobys: My visit today was to measure my eyes for cataract surgery in 2 weeks. The technician, EJ, was very reassuring and patient. Dr. Shah then examined my eyes and discussed which procedure and type of lens she thought would be best for me. She answered all of my questions and together we decided on laser surgery with a toric lens implanted. Dr. Shah is very professional, thorough and thoughtful. .

Pifong Shiek: My first impression was that it was an efficient doctors' office. The technicians seemed to know their job and the operations were smooth and well oiled. I did not have to wait unduly and the process was slick. Moreover, Dr Schor impressed me as a knowledgeable doctor. This is my first visit.

Katherine Hubley: Fabulous staff! I has a very efficient visit - everything was explained well to me. All techs are professional and pleasant. Dr. Shah is also wonderful and takes the time to answer questions and be sure that patients understand her explanations.

Barbara Neitzey: I have been waiting one week to be contacted by Dr Shah’s surgical scheduler to schedule cataract surgery. I have left messages and spoken to telephone receptionist with my concern. I don’t believe it’s the patient’s responsibility to chase down the scheduler. Last week I had my last appointment before surgery and was quietly told by a competent technician that she wasnt in her office and that if she didn’t phone me, to keep calling her. RED FLAG. Now what to do???? Is there another scheduler or doctor I can see?
Response: Hi Barbara. We pride ourselves on creating the best patient experience possible. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that was not met. I have passed your concerns along to the management team. You will be contacted directly to discuss further.

Robin Schoen: Professional from start to finish, this busy practice took care of the cataract in my eye with a minimum of pre surgery stress, down time, and inconvenience. The huge staff operates under a culture of care and efficiency, as well as kindness. I paid more from my pocket than my insurance company would for the procedure and lens I got but it. Was. Worth. It.

Joe Blanton: I have always found the doctors and technicians at EDOW to be first rate, professional, compassionate, and friendly. I like that Dr. Clinch carefully explains what is going on with regard to my eyes, and wants to make sure I understand his explanations. I feel that the care of my eyes is in good hands at EDOW.

Filomena Lococo: Office moved efficiently; see great improved even over pre-pandemic times. Each technician moved quickly, calmly and efficiently. Doctor Shah was well versed with all tests and looked over tests with me while also examining me herself.

Eye Doctors of Washington: what do users think?

Mel Morvillo: Posting on behalf of my Mom, Flo, who was there for her appointment. Everyone was very friendly & nice. And her exam was certainly thorough. She was very happy w/the experience. She needs to go for surgery & was promised that she would hear w/in 48 hours about an appointment; but that has come & gone. In trying to call to follow up you cannot get through, only get the usual recorded message about the high number of calls. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. She'd really like to get that surgery scheduled so that she can see properly again.

Heather L: I went to Eye Doctors of Washington regarding my dry eyes that were causing blurry vision as well as irritation. I saw Dr. Fisher- she was wonderful, along with her staff! They ran very specific tests to measure the moisture level of my eyes as well as to look at ducts that supply oil to the eye- things previous doctors never did. From that data, she developed a protocol for me to follow- the very next day I was seeing results! I beyond thrilled! The staff there are professional and knowledgeable and polite- I am so happy that I am under their care!

Donald Stevens: My primary care provider highly recommended Dr. Mayer. I've struggled to find good quality eye care until now, but Dr. Mayer put my mind at ease. He has an excellent bedside manner and provides very clear explanations. I'm looking forward to continuing as his patient.

Despina Belle-Isle: This is a very professionally run office. Everyone, from the front desk staff to Lamar, Fatima and Ni, who performed my eye tests and Dr. Mayer was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and kind. They all made me feel like they were invested in providing me with great medical care and a positive, pleasant office experience. I would recommend this office to anyone needing specialized eye care. They really stand out as a stellar group.

Michele Meyer: The practice was professional yet friendly. I had used another facility further away and decided to change because parking was a challenge and making appointments was almost impossible. It was a difficult decision because I had been going there for ten years. Eye doctors was a wonderful relief. Plenty of parking, ten minutes from my house, All the latest technologies and treatments. All the employees were very friendly and good at their jobs. The ophthalmologist I saw was knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. He took his time to explain everything about my eye condition, and possible procedures in the future. I even have my next appointment scheduled. For those older than 65, they take Medicare.

Shane & Alisha Johnson: This was my second visit to the Tyson’s Corner location. The admin staff at the front desk was nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The technician who checked out my eye was really kind and helpful. He shared some bad news with me but was comforting and he educated me on options to get to a healthier place with my eyes. I was in and out of the office in less than 45 minutes.

Linda Rinker: The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. They know their stuff. They explain everything and answer all my questions with patience and respect. Dr. Mayer is great. He takes the time to go over everything that is happening and gives the different alternatives. He doesn’t rush and always has my best interest at heart.

Laurie Brandt: Friendly staff, well-trained assistants, professional and efficient vibe. Have seen Dr. Fischer 3x now and will continue to do so. I get a sense that she is invested in the health of my eyes, but also find her to be social and interested in the patient. Five stars is warranted!

David Felt: They mixed up the doctor I was supposed to see. Thus, after the initial meeting with the PA, I cooled my heels for about an hour and a half until the wrong doctor walked in and introduced himself. Then was shuttled to another room to wait another 10-15 mins. However, initial meeting with Brianna was great. She took us in right away (my wife and I were 30 minutes early for my 8:40 appointment) and answered all my questions. Dr. Mayer was also very informative and friendly when we finally got in to see him. So providers get 5 stars and back office gets 1. That averages to 3. Follow up appointment after surgery was far better. No wait. Everything went smoothly. Staff and professionals were all polite and friendly. Raised the rating to 4 stars.

Patrick Moon: I was pleased with experience at Eye Doctors of Washington in the Vienna/Tyson’s office. The wait after arrival was minimal, and the staff were friendly and professional. Dr Mayer carefully explained his analysis and proposed course of action. He was not rushed, answered all my questions and made me feel confident in his diagnosis. I would have rated my experience five stars were it not for the 2.5 months I had to wait to schedule an appointment.

One Medical: what do users think?

Lindsey Warburton: Happy to have been a member here for almost three years. The service especially at the Adams Morgan location is incredible. Makes me feel comfortable and cared for.

Heidi Rees: I've visited One Medical doctors at the Penn Quarter, Tyson's Corner, and Adams Morgan locations and have always had an exceptional experience. With the $200 membership fee, my expectations for One Medical were high, and they actually delivered. The offices are comfortable, my appointments have always started on time, walk-in blood-work is easy as pie, and every single doctor I have seen has been exceptional. In particular I recommend Dr. Genie Concepcion at this location and Susan Olsen at the Penn Quarter location. In December 2017 One Medical stopped supporting my insurance and I am genuinely disappointed to have to look for a new provider. I'm not going to switch up my entire insurance plan just to stick with OM, but I will really miss them. That said, the cherry on top of my experience is that when I learned they would be changing their policy and would no longer support my insurance, I requested a prorated refund of that year's membership fee and it was given to me immediately, with no hassle. I'm so impressed and so bummed to have to go elsewhere. If your insurance is supported by One Medical, I definitely recommend them.

Eli Feldman: If there were a 6/5 rating, I would give it. One medical provides fantastic care on all fronts. The front desk is very friendly. The phlebotomists are great. My primary doctor is warm and explains everything that is going on/she's doing. They have lots of availability for spot appointments with other doctors. Their admin has responded within 1-2 hours every time I couldn't have had a better experience since joining.

Holden Rhodes: Really great location and efficient, kind and upbeat staff. Particularly right now, many medical facilities are struggling with elongated wait times and the difficulties of implementing new entrance, exit, and sanitation procedures. One Medical’s was very clearly marked with instruction and the process was seamless. Would VERY HIGHLY recommend.

Lori Evans: I was able to make an appt online. I went to the Adams Morgan location. They took me promptly - no waiting. The staff were super nice. The office clean and tidy. My healthcare provider personable and professional. A smooth process. Thorough and impressive. A great system.

Justin Chapman: Chris Saj and the team at One Medical in Adams Morgan are amazing. I'm so lucky to have found healthcare professionals that understand my needs.

C R: Beware! They can't tell you how much their services will cost prior to paying your $200 fee. Person handling the new patient line at the Adams Morgan location gave me plenty of reasons not to join. Actually said "this isn't in our wheel house". Disappointing!

Mary Webb: This place has a good business model but the service could be better. Waiting an hour to get lab work done.

Dennis Dunbar: Really nice place Doctors and staff are awesome!

Eye Doctors of Washington: what do users think?

Stephen Taylor: Dr. Vicente is a wonderful and truly gifted doctor! I really appreciate Dr. Vicente’s “bedside manner” and all the time he took to provide a thorough explanation of all the details of my procedure. as well as the recovery period. He really put me at ease. Similarly, my post-op care has been exceptional. In addition to Dr. Vicente, I want to thank his superb team at Eye Doctors of Washington for their great service to me. I am enjoying my new sights!!!

Jan LaRocque Kappas: Fantastic practice. Dr. Vicente is a fabulous pediatric ophthalmologist. He has been great with both my children. It takes awhile to get an appointment (~3 months out in my experience), but worth it. The assistants and facilities are great as well. Easy to get to with plenty of street and public parking available if the spots provided by the office are taken.

Desireè: The office is clean, tidy and the lighting is pleasant. The front desk staff are warm and friendly. Nelson is Dr.Wong’s assistant, he’s professional and has a cheerful disposition. Dr.Wong takes the time to explain things thoroughly and discuss treatment options appropriately. She’s both highly intelligent and kind which sadly is a rare combination in the medical field. If I had to mention one gripe it would be the kiosk. You have to sign in on the kiosk before a team member can assist you. It’s not my favorite but considering everything else about this office is pretty great it’s not a deal breaker.

Emily Menard: I really enjoy the experience received with Eye Doctors of Washington in Chevy Chase. Dr. Wong has seen my child twice and each time they have a nice conversation while completing the eye exam. They do several tests/screening in new patients and a follow up. They bill insurance as medical verse optical (not billed as a routine exam). Might cause some insurance issues for some people. Parking is tight in their parking garage, so I prefer to park across the street (use quarters in the meter). The building directions are great, but the suite is a little hard to find the first time. Located in a One way road. Allow time for parking.

M A: Dr Vike Vincente is one of the best physicians I’ve dealt with hands down. He is so personable and friendly while being thorough and accurate. We came early and we’re seen early. Cindy was amazing too. The whole staff were polite and efficient. I can’t thank the whole team enough for making our experience easy and informative. If you need an eye doctor for your child this is the doctor to see!

Haneen Shalabi: Dr. Vicente and staff are wonderful with kids! So caring and really took time to engage my son and try to get him comfortable. Highly recommended office.

Binila Abraham: Dr. Vincente was super personable and great with my 11 yo son. He explained everything to us and answered our questions thoroughly. Dr. V. changed my son's opinion about going to the eye doctor for the better.

Muzit Mesfun-Mehari: I took my 6 year old daughter to see Dr. Vicente today and I can say that we both had an excellent experience. Dr. Vicente has an excellent rapport with children and matching expertise/knowledge which is a magical combination!

Ted Unnikumaran: Dr. Vike Vicente saw my daughter. Quite possibly the best doctors' visit she has ever had. He took his time explaining everything, was affable, and didn't try to sell us glasses which weren't necessary.

Bukola P.: Dr Vicente is an amazing doctor. He listens to your concerns and is very informative. He is wonderful with children. I would highly recommend him.

Whitman-Walker Health at 1525: what do users think?

Tom Emberger: Over the past year or so attempting to work with WW has been actively worse than not receiving treatment at all, as I've wasted large amounts of time thinking I could make progress on something there only to find that I cannot contact anyone for even basic administrative things like getting needed prescriptions refilled. This time could have been better spent finding somewhere that actually provides care. Really sad to see such an important institution fall to pieces like this EDIT: The good news is WW seems willing to respond after poor public reviews, the bad news is doctors feel it's completely appropriate to condescend and insult when they do. Deeply saddening but not at all surprising in this environment.

M Freeman: I've been calling for over a week trying to get my prescription refilled, but the "doctor" in charge of authorizing my prescription hasn't responded to the pharmacy's repeated requests to fill my order. I'm out of meds, and they still can't get ahold of any doctor there to authorize a refill. And good luck scheduling an appointment; half their staff are ratchet and rude (there was a nurse there who was horrible to other staff and patients and they kept her forever), and the other half who were actually kind and caring quit because of how ratchet and unprofessional the staff are; including a friend of mine who got fed up with how ratchet, aggressive, unprofessional and uncaring the staff are towards patients.

Jason Thomas: Let me start with I know every at WW is very busy and I am very grateful for all every at WW does. I honestly do not know what I would do without them. However, it is impossible to get in touch with anybody. Knowbody (except Erica) returns emails within a reasonable timeframe, most are ignored. They seem to enjoy passing the buck off to someone else. I have never dealt with the same person twice. Each time I get in touch, I'm told someone else is responsible for my inquiry, and then it stops. Be prepared to do things on your own. If a Supervising Attorney has time to promptly reply to an email, I'm not sure why nobody else can even acknowledge an email.

Jaemi Hagen: The first two times I got my blood drawn here a few months ago, the person doing the blood draw was on her phone talking to someone (a friend?) through her AirPods. I thought she was saying something to me, then she pointed to her AirPods. Why is someone talking on the phone while about to poke someone in the arm!? A couple weeks ago, I made an appointment to get a BC shot done here. The provider I see here called and asked if I wanted to get the vial from the pharmacy. I thought I’d just give myself the shot then, because I give myself shots already for other meds. She wanted me to go in to the clinic after buying the vial from the pharmacy just for someone to show me how to do the shot. My original appointment would’ve been for a nurse to give me the shot with their own vial. It cost me $70 (and co-pay) for one dose of BC meds, whereas if they’d just left my appointment as it was and had a nurse do my shot, insurance said they would’ve covered it. Because I had to pick up the vial from the pharmacy, it’s not covered. What’s the point of getting the vial from the pharmacy if I’m going to the clinic to get the shot done already? It’s the same stuff in the vial, I’m just here for a shot. Aside from this, they are friendly and professional (usually). I will not be using their pharmacy at all, and will not pick up any vial meds or other meds that they can administer during an appointment.

valeria Alvarez: Hi I love this clinic helps you and gives you good treatment I been coming to them for more than 11 years and they helped with my surgery process love them

George Kerr III: Great place to receive a full service of your health care needs.

Steve Satran: While I have previously had good experiences here, today was a disaster. I had a non-life-threatening but nevertheless urgent medical issue for which I had scheduled an appointment at 11 a.m. When I arrived at 10:30, I was told that I had been mistakenly scheduled for an appointment that did not exist (?!?!?!) and someone should have contacted me. No one did, and there were no other appointments available today. Now, not only am I going to have to spend god-knows-how-long at an emergency room today, but the domino effect on my work and living situations -- not to mention my personal life -- is going to create massive problems for me. This level of incompetence -- especially in the medical field -- truly boggles the mind.

Darryl Carter Stevens: This place has been my health care provider for four years now. I receive all of my health needs here, which very convenient. Everyone from the doctors to the folks handling check ins and appointments to the pharmacist and dentist are very knowledgeable, passionate, and kind. It's nice to have a centrally located place for all of my health needs. The public benefits department is excellent at helping you obtain insurance and even social programs to help you pay for that insurance. I've always had a wonderful experience and have come to know and respect the people who work here. A bonus note. I love how inclusive this establishment is at making sure that those who are marginalized are seen and represented and treated with love and respect.

Tyler Dufresne: Had 3 appointments canceled on me and no one told me. Went to the office which is over 2 hrs away btw. Arrived early to be told someone else had been scheduled. There wasn't anyone else there that talked to the same person. Next time went and was told the appointment had been canceled because the Dr wasn't available? (Mind you I have been very flexible so far) they should ask the Dr when he is available instead of me. Scheduled us for two days after for them to text us the day before (first time was told without having to drive two hours away and right back) that the Dr had canceled. Get your schedule in place before telling people that you are available the same days in a week!!!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

Wood Privacy: This is difficult to review. I went in for a COVID PCR test and they said results would be sent within 24-48 hours. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and professional and seemingly efficient on-site. It's now been over 48 hours and still no results and so I continue to self quarantine. Calling them pretty much results in no one picking up the phone and long wait times on hold. Someone eventually answered yesterday and told me results actually take 3-5 days. So false advertising? I guess I don't recommend getting a PCR COVID test here. Better to pay and get immediate results.
