I am from out of town and when my car became disabled, I received a tow to and excellent service from this station. Elizabeth Jaffee: I have received super service from Jack and the team. The entire staff is great! The work is always done right and very fast-- both for regular servicing as well as larger jobs. They have always been able to help, even on very short notice. They are really honest and friendly as well! I highly recommend them.
Leslie Phillips: These guys are terrific. I have a 20 year old jalopy that they have kept running for me for years. Jack, Rob and the mechanics are incredibly friendly, funny, and a pleasure to work with. They do fast and good work. Lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

Tim McDonald: I lost all electric on the car at Tenleytown and prayed to make it home.at 22nd and P. I pulled into the Shell, where it stopped. It was about 4 and the mechanic said he could have it the next day. Needed an alternator which I thought and parts and labor were very reasonable. Highly recommend Tom and his team.

Jonathan Someone: Always a wait as a lot of drivers know that this particular location tends to have the lowest overall price of a Shell in the District. Others claim to be lower but from my experience, only when paying with cash. I knocked a star off since their pumps are slower than molasses in January.
Master Gardener: Usually in the mid to lower price range for gas in the area. Convenient and has a small inside store with a good amount of food and drink.

Jay P: Just had a bunch of work done to my truck. Carlos is a great and honest mechanic. Marie (service mgr) is a pleasure to talk to. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and was VERY helpful as to what parts I needed and what the cost would be. She is very knowledgeable and does her job VERY well. Rodney Small: Last night, I returned to Reagan National Airport from a trip to see the total solar eclipse (awesome, by the way). I had left my car at the Sheraton Suites garage in old town Alexandria, and I made the unfortunate discovery that one of my tires had picked up a nail and was flat. I tried to change it, but after removing the lug nuts and jacking it up, the tire would not budge. I enlisted the support of the building engineer, who applied WD-40, but still no dice. So, I took a cab home at 11 PM. Fortunately, the cab driver recommended that I call this service station in the morning. When I did, Charlie informed me that his team normally does not do road repairs, but since my car was only a block away and I already had it jacked up, he would make an exception. I stopped by the station around 1:30 today, and Charlie immediately found a mechanic to walk with me to the hotel garage, where he promptly loosened the tire with a well-placed kick with his boot to the top of the tire. He then removed it, put on the temporary spare, and we drove to the station. Charlie informed me that the only charge would be for plugging the tire ($20) or patching it ($45), and reinstalling it. I chose the patch, and was out of there by 2:30. Highly recommended!
