American Girl Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Elizabeth Christy: This is an experience not a shopping trip. It is a world-class tourist destination in fact! The displays are incredible, the staff is engaged, knowledgeable and helpful, and we have spent hours here without getting bored. Honestly I think we could spend all day. The bistro is incredible and they offer events. My daughter took a hair styling class, which was very reasonably priced and small class sizes, plus she got adorable things to take home including a salon apron and stylist belt, a brush, and an adorable pretend acrylic balloon. Every once in awhile we also schedule Samantha to have her hair done- what they can do is phenomenal. It always looks like she has brand new hair - she was made in 1992! The salon prices are great. Samantha had her ears pierced last year for only $6 and received 4 pairs of earrings on top!
Response: Elizabeth, we cannot thank you enough for your glowing endorsement. Your visit is what we hope to provide for all of our guests and we thank you for sharing! We look forward to welcoming you at any time! 🎈👍😊 🤩💕🤗🌻🌼

Junbin Xian: Beautiful Doll, Same Name as my Daughter I purchased this doll not only because it is the first Chinese-American Girl of the Year, but also because she has the same name as my daughter! She was so excited to see a doll that looks like her at the store and even shares the same name! Thank you American Girl for representing Asian-Americans especially in this current social climate. Positive representation and inclusion of Asian-Americans is so important. Our Chinese-American family appreciates this very much, and my Corinne loves her new beautiful doll! Best toy purchase we have ever made. Will purchase more from American Girl in the future.
Response: We are super happy to receive your rating and review, Junbin! Thank you for sharing the excitement and joy of our 2022 Girl of The Year Doll! Your positive recognition and support is job well done for us! We look forward to welcoming you and your daughter and her new doll back anytime! Happy New Year-see you soon!🤩😍🏂⛷🐕‍ 😁

Kevin Brothers: It was a beautiful store with lots of experiences. My daughter was looking for a particular doll that was on backorder. They were able to have it shipped right to our house quicker than anticipated thanks to the salesperson. She was super helpful!
Response: Thank you for sharing your beautiful rating and review, Kevin! Our helpful staff is always happy to help get our dolls to their new homes. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. It's always great to welcome our new friends back-hope you will visit soon!🤩🙋‍♂️👩‍🌾👩‍⚕️👩‍🚀👩‍🎨👩‍🍳😍

Virlene Myers: My daughter 10th birthday was ruin. The party was scheduled for March 12, 2022 at 3:15 . We arrived at the store at 2pm early with the girls . We took pictures and I bought 3 dolls. The store ran out of food . After two hours and multiple changes to food order because they did not have it. After 2 hours of waiting we never got our food and was given a partially frozen birthday cake with no ice cream . The cake icing came completely off the cake when cutting into it because it was still some what frozen. My sister had to light the cake because server didn’t have a lighter that work. The birthday girl very was disappointed. The worst experience ever for a party . I had to take a party of 8 to Fridays in the Mall to eat .
Response: The party you describe is certainly not the experience we wish for our guests! We will certainly pass your post to the DC location. We do apologize for this experience and sincerely hope we can make up for the bad experience. We appreciate your bringing this to our attention. American Girl leadership will be reaching out to you.😘😉🤩😍

Angelica Maldonado: It was a special day planned for my a granddaughters birthday. We went shopping and spent $200 in the store which is easy to do. Then we had a reserved for the Bistro and that is where things went wrong. Let me start by saying that our waitress was a sweetheart, but she couldn’t help the fact that we waited 1 hour for our food!! How hard is it to mess up hamburgers, and a hot dog?? The burger was burned (well well done) and when leaving I noticed other diners burgers looked the same. We paid $25.00 per person and we didn’t even get some of the items that were included with the meal. It was very disappointing. Especially with the kids asking when the fries were coming!! Not a good experience at all for the money!!
Response: We do apologize for your dining experience. We have sent your post to the Washington, DC bistro, so they can address your concerns. We are truly sorry for your experience. 🤗🌹🌼🌻😃 🎈

Francessca Prado: I went here with my niece in 2019. We had a blast, Even as an adult I enjoyed seeing all the dolls that I grew up with. And reading the history. It's like a little museum. It's a bit expensive but good quality dolls. They even painted the dolls nails. And pierced their ears! We didn't stay for lunch. But I have eaten here in the past. The food is better than I thought it would be. Like ikea quality but better. It's a nice roadtrip.
Response: We are so glad you came and thank you for the 5-star review! We hope to welcome you back! 🎈👍😊😃😄😁🤗🎈✨✨

Michelle Lewis: American girl dolls are so cute and fun. My husband and I brought my daughter here for her 6 year old birthday. My daughter was so excited and dashing through the store picking up EVERYTHING! Rashida was assisting us the entire time. She was very knowledgeable about the dolls and accessories that came with it. Her service was immaculate, she signed us up for the reward program because she knew we’d be back based on the happiness from my daughter! Thank you Rashida for all your help and I look forward to working with you again soon!
Response: Thank you for sharing your high praise for one of our amazing staff members we will gladly pass this along. This is exactly what we strive for. We are super happy that your daughter enjoyed celebrating her 6th birthday with us! Your return visit is welcome anytime!🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️👩‍🍳👩‍⚕️👩‍🚀👩‍🌾👩‍🎨🤩🌟😍

Xrijlov Bagaporo (Lilov): Our daughter took her 2 American Dolls to the American Doll Hair Salon. I was so impressed! Such a good experience. Note that I have been intimidated by the prices of these dolls. In fact, my daughter's dolls were both presents for her. But it kind of changed my perspective seeing how happy and excited she is, how kindly she was treated in the store... just the whole experience of it makes it all worth it!
Response: Xrijlov, we are delighted your daughter had a great time. We are proud of our store and of our customers! Thank you for coming! 🎈😍👍🤩👍 😊💕🤩

Stacey Black: My daughter just loves American Girl. We had appointments at the Doll Salon. No real wait time. They have lots of new dolls and accessories for girls and boys to choose from. We usually eat at the Cafe but they were booked. Food is absolutely delicious everything we go.
Response: Your rating and review makes us very proud, Stacey! Thank you for sharing, it is a great invitation for our guests to come in and participate in all that there is to enjoy. Thanks for being a valued American Girl fan-we hope to see you again soon! Take Care!😍👩‍🎨👩‍🌾👩‍🚀👩‍⚕️👩‍🍳🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

Adrienne Leo: This isn't a complaint about this specific location, but about a policy which is probably company-wide. We aren't rich, so we got my daughter a Journey Girl, which is just almost identical to an American Girl Doll, but cheaper. It didn't even occur to me when we visited the salon at American Girl Doll store that they wouldn't do the doll's hair. Maybe I should have thought of that, but since the dolls are virtually the same, I didn't think they would refuse to give her a hairstyle (it's not like they're giving them a perm or anything. You can braid the hair or give a ponytail to any doll.) My daughter was really hoping to do the thing where the doll and the owner get the same hairstyle. But they refused, and my daughter broke down crying in the store. My daughter was also hoping to have a meal at the American Girl Doll cafe, which apparently you need to have a reservation for. I didn't think of that, either. So what was supposed to be a fun, special day turned out to be a big disappointment for her. She got a dog for her doll, which was a consolation prize, but not what she was counting on.
Response: We do apologize for your daughter's disappointment. Thank you for reaching out to us about our Doll Salon services. While girls are welcome to bring in any doll to our Café to enjoy a meal and do any of the free experiences, doll hairstyling and Pampering Plus services in our Doll Salons are limited to American Girl dolls only. Our stylists have only been trained to work on our own dolls. Other companies use different materials, especially for the hair, and we don't want to damage the doll and can't replace it if we do. We hope you understand. Ear piercing, doll nail polish, and Doll Hospital services are also limited to American Girl dolls. We hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have additional questions by emailing us at reviewsites@americangirl.com. Please include your contact information. 😉 👧👩👩‍ 👱‍♀️👸😏

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Jessica Boada: Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart Supercenter offers a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and other optional food and items to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. This location offers a free underground parking garage.

Nsoseh Quistoran: I went there to pick some stuff for myself. Good prizing and amazing products. Recommended to go shopping 🛒🛒

Will Kidd: I'm from Michigan this is my first time being to a Walmart set up like this and it was great basement parking and the crazy thing the escalator for your shopping cart that's wow 😲

Brittany Jeffries: It's crowded, there are never enough lines, and the place is heavily disorganized. But when you need stuff late night, it's nice to have around. I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.

K A: Easy, convenient and affordable shopping. I really enjoyed shopping at this particular Walmart location. It’s big, organized and well stocked. They have different sections such as the pharmacy, bike shop, auto care, money center, entertainment and household items section to mention a few. Express Self Checkout✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Entrance✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Parking 🅿️ Adequate Parking Space ✅ Shopping Cart Conveyor ✅ 🚻Restroom ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Restroom

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? Please consider getting some kind employees for self checkout. 04/25/22 6:00 pm

Child's Play Toys & Books: what do users think?

Scott Selliers: While in town for my wife’s work, my son and I have been out exploring the city. We have never been much for buying tchotchkes as souvenirs, yet few things can bring back the memories of travel like a material thing found along the way. After visiting the gift shop at the National Aquarium in Baltimore and seeing the crummy toy offerings, I told my son we’d find a real toy store - and Child’s Play Toys & Books is definitely that! We were greeted and assisted by passionate toy aficionados - professional retailers. Take your time when you visit this store - there’s a ton to see. Now my son has a quality toy that will bring back memories of our DC trip. We also had a puzzle gift wrapped for free at the counter as a gift for my father-in-law for watching our animals - this was the perfect store for us today! (You know you’re dealing with a serious store when they have an entire shelf dedicated to the best board game ever made - Catan!)
Response: You made our day! Thank you so much for visiting! We look forward to seeing you on your next trip to town.

Martin Lucero: What an awesome story, great toys and games for people of all ages. The store is far bigger than you might first realize and they are incredibly well stocked. The staff are passionate and helpful. They were able to discuss Legos in detail with my seven year old son and help me find the perfect board game based on my vague requirements. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable.

beyondTabu: Lots of options. Shelves were sparse which is expected as it’s Christmas time. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have wrapping at the back of the store for purchases.
Response: We've been hit by the supply chain issues, too, unfortunately. Thank you for the kind words!

Christabelle Cruz: The best toy and gift store ever! I’ve come here multiple times and every time, a worker asks if they can help. I tell them the ages of the children I’m shopping for as well as the interests, and they always direct me to the perfect options and gift. They are super knowledgeable and helpful! Always a positive and happy shopping experience at Child’s Play!
Response: Yay! We're so glad you've had great experiences. We appreciate your business and your kind words!

Walt Nicholson: This is one of the best toy stores I’ve come across in years. If you have a child who needs a toy - it’s here. All ages, abilities and interests. Lots of fun educational toys as well as sheer joy. Big Lego section, model rockets and tons for little ones. The staff were super friendly and made perfect recommendations. Will definitely be back for birthday presents to come!
Response: Yay! Thanks for the kind words!

Lisa Lavelle: This is the best toy store ever! Love the helpful staff, they always have great recommendations and they are incredibly knowledgeable about the products. Wonderful selection of toys, games, and books.
Response: Thank you so much, Lisa! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Leif Engler: Amazing place to buy toys, especially legos and figurines. There is also a small book area in the back aswell. Would recommend.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave such a nice review! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

PauloMichelle Dorsey: This place is amazing, my son has been busy in an adventure of a lifetime. You may not have Toys R Us, (RIP) but you can bet the adventure awaits you here. The pictures is just a point of the mass of toys. There's parking in the back and the front. Food and Starbucks next door. The employees are Soo helpful with joy.
Response: Thanks for stopping in & for your kind words. You made our day!

Martha Coe: Best toy shop in the district. You can always find something good for a present.
Response: Thank you, Martha! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Christina Valentiner: This place is magical. I want to buy everything for my kid but I dont- they have a huge selection and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgable.
Response: Thank you, Christina! We appreciate you taking the time to write such a lovely review!

Target: what do users think?

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Very nice and clean store parking available in the basement, Only problem always low on the food inventor and produce and grocery.

Cliodhna MacFadden: We purchased the Element 65” TV, and after 3 days the backlight broke. We tried everything to fix it. Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Jasmine Thomas: Mobile Tech Has A Rude Raspy Voice Lady Working There. Ms.Kathy Is Extremely Unprofessional & Doesn’t Know What She Is Talking About. She Lied & Told Me That An AT&T Phone Was Unlocked. The Phone Wasn’t Unlocked & I Was Trapped In A Contract. I Explained To Her That I Wanted A Unlocked Phone & She Insisted On Telling Me The Phone I Bought Full Price Was Unlocked, Yet I’m Getting Stuff In My Email Saying I Have A Contract That I Have To Pay Off My Phone. Her Attitude Is Stank & She Never Has Her Mask Up On Her Face. Columbia Heights Target Do Better, Her and Her Unprofessional Ways Are Bringing Your Company Down Tremendously. I Will Be Reaching Out To Corporate!

Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Kaila Gilbert: Good store, could benefit from more helpful signage 😂 idk throw a digital map on the wall or something. but even though I got vertigo/whiplash/confused trying to find a suitcase (they're on the 2nd floor in the wayback) no complaints and the people are good. Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Adah Deveaux: This review is for the starbucks within target. My drinks were great but a little of a wait. The actual target was customary.

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

buybuy BABY: what do users think?

Stoyan Dimitrov: excellent experience at this store. store reps are extremely knowledgeable. Joe who works at the strollers/car seats section is the go-to person. He is super nice, very helpful and knows what he is talking about. He is trained and very resourceful individual.

Shana Shaffer: PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! JANICE IS NO HELP AND SHE'S THE MANAGER (ALSO WORKS OUT OF THIS STORE). I placed an curbside order at the Rockville location that was later cancelled by the company with little to no explanation as to why. I spoke with Gabriel moments after the store opened to confirm availability of a particular travel system and was informed by him that it was indeed available. I feel as if I took all the necessary steps in order to reserve the travel system to only be extremely inconvenienced later. On top of that, I was told that if I show up to the store to retrieve the item that I purchased, I would have to pay an additional $742. This amount has already been debited from my account. My son is due at any moment and I have to wait several business days in order for this to be resolved. This is time I simply do not have. This is robbery essentially. I spent nearly all the money I have to purchase this item for Janice the AREA MANAGER AND Gabriel to tell me "there is nothing we can do about it." This is no way to conduct business. This has caused me unnecessary stress at a time where it is least needed. DO NOT EXPECT SERVICE AT ALL FROM THESE TWO, I'VE SPOKEN TO AUTOMATED SYSTEMS THAT WERE MORE EMPATHETIC AND HELPFUL!!!!

Short and Sweet: Staff on floor is super knowledgeable and helpful. Be sure to ask for Joe as he knows the ins and outs in baby products. Cashier laddy was a little slow and could use improvement in costumer service skills.

Manos Diakoumakis: We had an excellent experience this past weekend. We were looking for different essentials and the associates of the store that we spoke with were knowledgeable and patient with us. Monica was wonderful and cheerful. Joe Cluen was the superstar however. His product knowledge is impressive as was his patience with us and our many questions. He seems so willing and eager to help. We were very happy with every aspect of our experience and would recommend this Buy Buy Baby.

Behrouz Sabah: Great customer service, Joe helped us save a lot of money by pointing us in the right direction for buying head and neck support for the baby’s carseat.

Jonathan Greenstein: Full service baby supply chain. Cribs, strollers, diapers, furniture, home decor and more. Usually quiet, well stocked and friendly staff. They usually have clearance and deep discount items available. Baby Registry and a Picture People are there as well.

Mariela Pilotte: We worked with Joe in Gear and he was the BEST! We had been looking for a stroller that was out of stock everywhere and after a few weeks of calling local stores and looking everywhere we had no luck. I finally got in touch with Joe and he was incredibly helpful going above and beyond to help us find it. His out of the box thinking connected us to a store in GA that was able to ship it!!!! We had such a great experience with him and can't thank him enough.

Jayde Burgos: Did you know that they have a 90 day return policy? I didn't! In and out. Be attentive to what is deemed clearance!

Karen Garcia: As soon as I walked in I wanted to buy out the whole store!!! They literally have anything you can think of and me being a first time mommy, I wanna get anything and every for my son lol. I came in because I found the stroller I’ve been looking to get for months and it just so happens that it was in stock here. Joe was at the stroller section and he was AMAZING! He answered all my questions and he went above and beyond. I asked him if they would be able to assemble the stroller at the store and this man did it. I was so happy & I am so grateful I walked out of the store with my son’s stroller assembled so we could hit the mall. Thank you so much Joe!!! He is the reason this store is getting the 5 stars!!!

Nick Longworth: The associate that helped me in the stroller section and with child seat selection was fantastic, everything else was pretty much awful. We ordered a chair for the nursery after so many trips to different stores to compare. We selected a chair from here and ordered it, yayy, the shipping window basically said sometime in June as the date range was quite large. We figured it was fine so proceeded with the order. Well the other day we received an email with no explanation as to why our order was cancelled after a full month. We're now too close to our delivery date to even bother trying again. What awful customer service. I mean it was a 600 dollar item and we also had a registry here and there was no effort to contact us to advise maybe another color or anything... I moved our registry to Target and Amazon as they actually have customer service. I recommend you all do the same.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Henok Garedew (Henny breezy): There is always problems in this specific Walmart all the timeI don’t recommend it

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Target: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: This store opened a couple years ago and it’s always nice and clean. The day I went after work the store must have just received a truck because there were boxes of product on most of the aisles. But this store is generally very clean and organized. This isn’t a normal sized target though, it’s definitely smaller and has more of a convenient store type feel. But all of the normal Target staples are still there. There is parking under the store and it’s accessible using the escalators or elevator. There is a Starbucks as well. It’s a great store to visit!

Amreen Shafiuddin: poorly managed target.. no one knew answers for anything. customer service was poor. stocking issues in all the aisles. boxes everywhere.. the food items especially bread section don’t have best before stickers on them. when questioned, they just saw each other faces. poorly managed.

Tracie: Pros: Near my home. New store. Available parking structure. Decent customer service. By decent i mean - I haven't had a negative experience with the customer but no one has gone above and beyond helping me. Cons: Generally feels empty. Yet every time I enter the store i notice staff are in the middle of restocking and have crates of things in the middle of the hallways blocking the pass way. This was even before covid so not sure whats going on (pictures shown from Dec 2021). Also, doesn't appear to be a parking attendant so anytime anyone lost their ticket, their is chaos trying to get out. Finally, prices seem a little higher than other targets, i get the sense that because its smaller things are limited and maybe marked up? Or maybe its just inflation and the whole food chain/ports being a hot mess.

Mysiki X Valentine: Whoa! Let me begin on a positive. There is a cashier (older Black woman) Joan, who is the most pleasant staff worker. However, the younger staff can often be found tucked away on phones, having side conversation and etc..so finding help is always difficult. In addition, the customer service could never be described as friendly. But it does not end there, this is one of the worst Target’s I’ve ever went shopping. The store shelves stay empty. I recently order Beats headphones online for pick-up, I was emailed saying my order was ready—but when I got to the store the manager cancelled my order, stating the item was not in the store. Long behold, I walked to the back and there sat 3) pairs of the same item I came to pick-up. Her attitude was out of this world, I couldn’t believe she worked in customer service. No matter what time of the day, the aisles have carts full of products yet to be put away. Makes the store seem chaotic and disorganized. If it’s a quick stop, I’d advise going elsewhere. Looking to do serious shopping, never stop here. To end on a positive the food section is normally well stocked and presented nicely.

Kareem Carter: Lets start by saying I am appreciative of having a Target in this area of DC. The parking facility is safe and well lit, the store was reasonably stocked and clean. My gripe is with the professionalism of the management and the completely ineffective way they run the checkout line. they funneled everyone through one line and when several customers skipped the single line and went straight to the register, they were allowed to do so.....causing frustration to the other customers in the line. This was brought to the lead employees attention and she sarcastically dismissed my frustration. They should really signage up on how the checkout line works!

Erin Truax: I have been to this Target a few times because it is the most convenient for me (and parking is easy) but I always leave feeling very frustrated. There are constantly boxes of inventory waiting to be unpacked that are blocking the aisles and many shelves are often missing product. I have shopped at different times and on different days, but this seems to be on ongoing issue for this location. If you’re able, I recommend a different location.

J Por: Went in for some quick toys for my nieces and nephew. Turned in to their Loss Prevention racially profiling my partner, and followed us around the store the entire time for 60 dollars worth of merchandise, part of which, we had to find an employee to get. We initially went in to make a return, and unfortunately had the idea to shop the last bit of our list. Workers letting people (guy in a blue hoodie was wearing a red shirt so possible employee?) walk around without a mask even though DC has a mandate, and the stores inventory is always in the way. Should have been more concerned following him to give him a mask instead of two people who were in your store less than 25 minutes. Overheard an employee talking about managers asking the team to get tested because of a potential positive employee. Overall, the worst experience I’ve had by far. I’ve been a consistent customer for three years, but no more. This location is best avoided. Trust me.

livingmytruth 2: Joan has the best customer service ever. I came in this location with my 98 year old grandma and she made my grandma feel sooo good and proud and she really has a positive attitude. Thank you for making my grandmother’s shopping experience so pleasant . I will actually make this my home store now because of her pleasant demeanor

Aaron Blackmon: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to a Walmart that is all red and has Target signs? Well wait no longer! This will fit the bill. The validated parking is a mess. The store is never stocked but simultaneously stocking everything at once and the lines are NEVER open. I only went there after learning my initial lesson months ago because it’s so close and I wanted to get a few things but even still it wasn’t worth it.

Chris Todd: The staff inside the store were friendly and helpful. However, the parking attendant was about as useless as a square wheel. I wanted to recharge my car. The sign in front of the chargers read "See attendant to activate". This dude was just sitting in his car. He refused to get up and wave whatever card he needed to wave to unlock the charging station. He didn't even acknowledge me other than saying "Uh". I tried activating the station with my SemaConnect app, but the station was locked out. I'm sure this Target is great, but I wouldn't come here in an EV because the dude who runs the chargers can't be bothered to get out of his car to do his job.

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

VIRGINIA Parker: Very well stocked and clean associate ready to help you. Only one problem not enough cash register open to get the people out. But that's the problem in every store.

Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

Terrencia Lester: I found everything I was looking for and a few extra items too. The staff was very friendly and helpful because I am in a wheelchair they offered to help me with items I couldn't reach. They had a variety of all kinds of foods and beverages. This will be my Walmart supercenter that I will be attending from now on keep up the great work and I will continue to be a valued customer.

Sarah West: A large mixed selection of items you can get any 3 for TEN DOLLARS. Selected high end new items are priced accordingly. Kids, mens, and womans apparel and shoes. If you have the knack for treasure hunting in thrift stores.....THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. thrifty and unique pieces all year round

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

carolyn jackson: I love this store. My favorite associates work here. This store always have a lot of cashier's on duty. The store is as least fully stock.

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Sean Shanahan: Went grocery shopping. Had a full cart of food and ice cream. When I finished shopping I went to self checkout and the lady running self checkout told me I couldn't use self checkout because I had a full cart. I went over to the line in one of the cashier isles and the line was slow and long. I told the lady in self check out if she wasn't gonna let me check out there that I was leaving the full cart of food and ice cream. If you can offer fast service so that the ice cream doesn't melt before I get home then I won't be shopping here any more.

Patricia Miles: All items were available. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially helping me get a scooter to drive since my walking is limited. No wait at checkout.Asked if I needed help to my car to unload groceries, then took scooter back.

Laquethia Norman: I had the worst experience at this walmart. On 5/16/22 between 10am and 10:30am I wanted to make an exchange and return. I had 5 pieces of clothing to return and two shorts in smaller sizes that I wanted to buy. A heavy set woman with red hair and a slightly receding hairline told me I had to go to the checkout line to redo my purchase and gave me a giftcard when I simply wanted cash. It didn’t make sense being that I am returning almost $30.00 and maybe buying $10.00 worth of items. The moment I ask her why I didn’t receive cash instead, she caught an attitude with me and proceeded to raise her voice as if I should’ve comprehended what she pretty much forced on me. Now I have no other choice but to spend ALL of my money on Walmart since she wanted to be inconsiderate. The only good news is I filed a complaint with a manager after waiting an hour on the phone and multiple departments hanging up on me when I tried to contact a higher up. Hopefully they strive to be better.

Sam Hayashi: Great. A nice young lady from the customer service counter helped me and again after I was having a hard time with the app. Honestly feel like I don't see that kind of service these days. Great to feel it again 😊

Kathy Franchi-Alfaro: For as few people that were dining you would think you could get seated faster. Instead of keeping track up front of the seating the hostess felt the need to go to the different sections to check (?) And see who wanted more people before seating people.

jenalomba: Unfortunately by the time an associate actually takes your call they hang up on you as you hear them making a store announcement. Plan plenty of time to set aside for this unrelenting process because every time you call back it seems the same person who doesn't know how to answer a phone will answer and subsequently, hang up on you. Doesn't make you want to actually frequent a store in which an employee who doesn't know how to pick up a phone is in charge of answering one, mind sometime in this century. Still don't know if they even have what I'm looking for because of their nonexistent customer service.

Gloria Aaron: Poor TLE service shop. They installed mew battery. My jeep broke down. My other car repair owner don't blame install new battery. They took caps red/blue of top battery. What are wrong with the team? They're not training nothinh. Next future never go back install new battery again or tires for good.

Kiah Bennett: This is not what I'd consider a supercenter. Yes it has the grocery and all the other items, but it's on the smaller side. Smaller Walmart means less variety of all the products in the store. I was looking for an under bed storage bin, king blanket, and some double insulated water bottles. I found a king quilt with a soft side that fit my needs, but I wish there were more options. I'm definitely used to seeing a much bigger selection of the bottles, but I found a couple I liked. There should be more options without straws. And they had next to nothing for storage which was really disappointing. The store is cramped and you're basically on top of whoever else is in the same isle. The parking lot was small and full. I will not be returning here. I need an actual SUPERCENTER.

Brianna Morton: Accused us of stealing and made a commotion, when they finally confirmed the purchase and allowed us to leave they offered zero apologies for falsely accusing us. We we’re buying formula and diapers for my 5 month old nephew. The greeter at the door was screaming at us and would not allow us to explain that we paid for the items, even though he could clearly see that we did because he was STARING AT US the entirety of the time we were at the self checkout! Poor service all around it took about 5 employees before a nice woman finally went to check the transaction. They were attempting to seize the similac formulas we purchased with our remaining WIC balance, and if they had done so my sister would not have been able to feed her son! If one person didn’t stop to actually check if we were telling the truth he would have gone hungry that’s ridiculous! Not to mention this ordeal occurred in front of all the customers that were staring and employees kept walking up to see the commotion, it was absolutely HUMILIATING! This is why I never go to this Walmart, extremely unprofessional and nobody knows how to act.

Rebecca Chapman: This is a nice super Walmart. It was clean the employees helpful. The selections were a lot less than I’m used to seeing at a super Walmart. But a nice experience overall.

Walmart: what do users think?

Leroy Rantan: Most people go to Walmart for deals and good prices but you also expect a tiny bit of customer service. This location I believe is a reflection of management and who they hire to be honest. I had an issue where I was profiled by a lady at the money transfer counter. I called the corporate office and they were helpful, they said the manager would give me a call but they never did. Basically I went to the Bowie location and had no problem receiving my transfer without issue the next day. All the other times employees walk by you without greeting you, asking them to locate an item is like asking Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles to go locate the item. Like all jokes aside this location needs help with customer service training.

Joshua Hubbard: Still a nice store. Lines are always long. The remodel takes some getting used to. But overall reasonable experience.

Angela C: I tried several times to call the store for assistance but every time I selected an option the phone disconnected. I tried calling the number listed for the Auto Center and it was a recording thanking me for calling the pharmacy. It then, disconnected me before I could speak with anyone. I was merely trying to price tires with installation because you can't get an exact price online. They want you to pay for the tires online and come into the store for the true installation price.

Rose: Most walmarts are nice clean and want not, this was too but lack of customer service..Not bad service though

Adam Sinsir Lamoureux: Clean store and always well stocked, helpful associates, they have everything, from fresh produce, diary and seasonal sales items

pretty p: Bad customer service. They don't have time for their customers especially those at the photos section. They get on my nerves never on time. I came in the morning to print pictures, my pickup time 2:15 came later at 6pm only for them to tell me they did not print my pictures they ran out of papers after driving 20 minutes. Why did they not text or call to say my pictures are not ready i should come the next day. And the lady have a very bad attitude i wish i can recall her dammn name.

Dee Jay Davis: That was probably the worst Walmart I've ever been in. I went to get a handful of groceries, for a hotel stay for a night. The store was very did organized. The grocery was right in the center of the store, with only about 6 isles total. 1 isle with freezer/refrigerator items. And mist of it was out of stock. Then standing in the mile long line, some guy approches me, ask8ng if I would buy his stuff. I said sorry, I only have enough for what I'm getting. He says OK I will put something back. I just walked off. I don't mind helping, but every time I come to this area someone asks for money or something

Kaliq Campbell: Can't stand this walmart. Lines are always all the way to the back of the store, they never have what I need in stock and the customer svc and cashiers are terrible. Choose another location to go to.

AH Farhan: Nice location with ample parking space. On Sundays, too crowded and you have to wait a couple of minutes extra to check out. However, the self check out has multiple counters, you just need to use a card at self check out, no cash. Staff is very friendly and the return policy is supper easy.

Candyce Adams: Store managers allow people to cut in line in front of people who have been waiting 10 minutes for the lines to open. Then berates the pregnant women and mothers with infants for trying to resolve the issue or get another line opened. The customer service is abissmol. And the employees just scream at you and have horrible attitudes. Screaming at elderly people and disrespecting pregnant women and mothers. An African American female employee by the name of Deitra, with the blond braids, was very rude to myself whom is 8 months pregnant, my 1 year old and my 65 year old mother. She needs to be reprimanded and given a lesson in customer service.

Target: what do users think?

Connor Black: My friend is a former employee at this establishment and I decided to post this on their behalf to protect their anonymity. First off, HR is prone to scheduling shifts at horrible times with little regard for the time you will have between shifts. Now this could be fixed if HR was more present and was available to talk about shift scheduling and issues that arise from how they do it. Secondly, the General Manager is very aggressive with their style of management. They often are talking down to people and attempting to single them out for ridicule or to give attitude to. They also have zero regard for a worker's wellbeing or health, instead putting the business before the people who have to make sacrifices for it. If you ever do call out and the GM answers, be prepared because she will try to gaslight you and talk you out of whatever your legitimate reason for not being able to come in is.

Portia Massado: I was a former employee there and the reason why I left was for a career choice and also because of the GM Jemima Canage. Jemima Canage is THE WORST GM to work for the company. Target is her LIFE and if your in school or have a second job PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. Control freak YES she is. Jemima will over work you and will not give gradititude in return unless your a male that work in her store. She talks very mean and nasty to associates like they are nothing to her. I even had an incident where she yelled and charged herself at me like I was a child. It made me very very upset and if another manager wasn’t present I would of lost my job for walking out due to Jemima poor management skills. I even had customers come in and complain about how rude and mean she is. She also like to try to undermind people like they lack common sense. She recently fired someone for no apparent reason at all. She forced that man to come to work sick after expressing that he wasn’t feeling well. And he called the ambulance for himself just to prove to Jemima that he was sick. And in the process of her firing one person she lost 8people from that store. Even her ASM left because of her, 3LPs, and 4 associates. And right before I started 6months ago the original associates that were there had already gave the new people the rundown of Jemima Canage and how much they hated her and how she acts towards her employees. She doesn’t onow how to humble herself or treat people with REPSECT. She demands it then earning it or giving it back in return. And the nexr person she raises her voice at WILL NOT be as nice cause trust me I was VERY VERY ANGRY about it. Please get rid of that bad engery in that store. I feel sorry for all the people that are still there.

Kerry Delf: Small but fairly well provisioned food section, with both snack foods and some home groceries, heavy on the convenience foods. Prices are high but better than other stores in the area. Conveniently open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays, in an area where other stores close at 9 or 10, but it closes earlier on other days of the week. Free parking with store validation. Downside: Service was sparse and heavily dependent on self-service—there were no employees on the floor helping customers, and of three employees around the checkout counter, only one was operating a register, quite lackadaisically.

Peyton Doyle: Great small format Target in a really accessible part of Cleveland Park (and just steps from the Metro stop). Impressed with their selection of fresh foods. Nice home goods section too. Unique underground store. Really friendly employees! I will certainly be back.

Daniel: Right off the metro so it's convenient, not to mention, definitely bigger than you'd think. They took the investment of digging underground for the store (kind of like their NYC Tribeca location) and it definitely paid off. Validate parking when you leave since there's a lot attendant and a gate... no joke. Prices upscale for the location, but they had what I needed and would probably visit again.

Larry Gamble: I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the surroundings is a very beautiful place with a lot of awesome deals! it was a very nice experience for people are just super awesome everybody was all friendly and lot of excitement going on just keep it in the parking lot list fire I loved it

Lindsay Cooper: Purchased baby food online that was listed as in-stock. Received notifications that it was ready to pick-up. My husband went to pick it up and not only did they not have our order, they didn't have the product in stock. My husband then decided to purchase other items while he was there and was followed closely around the store by security so much that he had to ask the person to back off. I called Target HQ and they confirmed that the order was ready for pick up. I'll be going back to Amazon after this experience.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: It is Very nice and very clean. It is small in size, but they've got everything from groceries to clothes and electronics. It is conveniently located near the red line Cleveland park metro station, and bus ( L1, L2) stop. when you walk in this location, it looks like you're at a duty-free shop at an airport. It is also a quick 5 minute walk from the zoo.

M P: Free parking but you MUST get your ticket validated in store. Great for quick Target run. You can always find helpful employees and if you don’t see what you are looking for ask and they’ll get it in stock. Great manager. Super clean store. Perfect location.

Sassi Whayz: Clean store, I love the floor separate.. x feels like a department store. Found a new favorite lady part cleaner

buybuy BABY: what do users think?

Ari Wilder: Gabe helped us immensely with choosing the right stroller and instructed us on all of the configurations and ease of the Cyber Gazelle S. He was thorough and attentive and continued through the store with us! Amazing store and even better staff. THANK YOU GABE!

Shana Shaffer: PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I placed an curbside order at this location that was later cancelled by the company with little to no explanation as to why.

Caitlin Ravida: Absolutely the worst place to buy anything. We bought a swing for my daughter and she ended up not liking the swing. I had the original box and receipt and it’s within the 60 day return and they wouldn’t take it back. The dumb lady said the left side of the store you can’t return those items. I will never buy from them ever again.

Stoyan Dimitrov: The kid at the strollers/car seats section is beyond useless. I walk in “sir, I have a car seat question, are you available!” Kid looks at his watch and says “yeah, I have a minute” He lost me there. I am not going to even comment his incompetence. He knew nothing about car seats and it found it funny: not sure why. It was clear that he didn’t care about his job. You’d think buybuybaby would send their employee to a basic training course when it comes to baby stuff, especially car seats.

Jesseca castillo: I literally just walked out this store and the customer service sucks well actually I guess the employees don’t communicate at all, maybe they’re mutes. I walked up to a black lady, I didn’t even get a hello and she didn’t even tell me what my total was or asked for my membership. I work at a gas station and I’m a firefighter and to say a gas station has way better customer service then this store is ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE. Way better places with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

jeff goldberg: Very nice store with wide selection of everything from toys, clothes and furniture... reasonable price. Not many staff on hand to help or check out.

A R: Great customer service—Hwan was awesome in helping us maximize savings!

Kevin Wu: Kudos to Ara at the Rockville location for going above and beyond for customer service. I appreciate your help.

E: Horrible experience. The customer service has completely gone down the drain. There were more employees than customers there and couldn’t get anyone to help us, when we finally found someone it was two employees who acted as if we were a bother to them. No plans to go to this store again. We would have bought significantly more items if any employee cared to work that day.

Bine Chapman: Buyer be aware this store is a huge SCAM ! I ordered some nursery furniture which took three hours for them to even place the order. Then I had an issue at the time I was paying since the two cashiers made a mistake and charged me the wrong amount - 45 more minutes of my time wasted. Next day I read so many bad reviews about this place and I decided to cancel my order. I called Buy Buy Baby to cancel my order and whoever answered the phone said the person responsible for the cancelations would call me back (which they never did). Next day I called again and the exact same thing happened except that I kept calling until I talked to Adeera. She got all my credit card information to issue the refund and she never did ! I had to start a dispute with my credit card and just found out they gave me store credit rather than refund. Who would want a 2k store credit ? I asked for my full refund! Not for a gift card. This is absolutely insane. Not to mention they have the absolutely worst customer service.

Carter's - Curbside available: what do users think?

Kimi Fergus: Great place to shop. The store is very clean and organized. The employees are nice and helpful. Great deals to shop for baby's and toddlers. I purchased an item online for instore pick up and it was fast and friendly.

Sandra Penoyar: Carter's and Oshkosh are my go to place for baby gifts and kid clothes. Why they stopped carrying gift bags is a mystery. Need more dresses for Toddlers. What they had was beautiful, but I bought all 2 styles.

Kelly M.: After dealing with lots of returns from online shopping, I finally mustered the energy and time to go to a physical store to shop for my baby and I’m glad I did. There were plenty of options here and the customer service was great!

Alex Navarro: Nice store. Friendly and helpful staff. They are always happy to order sizes you can’t find in store and have them shipped. I do wish the store had more room between racks. It’s sometimes difficult to navigate with a stroller.

Leiston Gaddis: If a store is going to offer curbside pickup and require you to call the store when you arrive, they need to actually ANSWER the phone!! It wasn’t busy inside (as I found out when I was forced to go inside to pick up my order) so there’s no reason why an employee couldn’t answer when I called several times in over 10 min. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, I really did. I don’t mind waiting in my car if need be to get my order, but when you don’t even allow me that when offering curbside service, your customer service could use improvement.

Allison Jordan: We usually buy Carter's clothes online, but had a pajama emergency and headed to the store. The staff were helpful and kind and seemed to genuinely like kids. The store itself was well laid out and organized, and it was easy to find what we needed.

Vanessa Canaviri: Carters itself offers excellent prices but on this particular visit to the Falls Church location there was a huge line and a crying baby (I do not mind this at all I have a baby myself) and the person in charge I’m assuming the manager (as she had override authority) did not even attempt to help the mother with the baby, instead she would enter her code and disappear (twice if we are counting) mind you there were about 5 people in front of me trying to pay. What an awful experience and lack of sympathy from the ”manager”, let’s try to use common sense and help a mother out, it’s not too hard!

Tatiana Sokolova: Grate store! Everything clean and organized. Jeremy was very helpful on my return and telling me about current sales. He also very knowledgeable about products and suggested me other carters location to look for the winter pease, that they sold out already. Thank you very much, Jeremy

M.Fahim Nazary: This store always full of quality and good items but the customer service is in Zero!! They need to have a good attitude and its 2019 not old days. They must learn that people coming here not because of the goods but also to feel comfortable and relax while shopping. I have been visiting this store for along time but they dont improve their behavior or customer service.

Sabrina Parke: I love Carter's brand but this store is the worst on customer service and frienliness. They are always understaffed so makes the wait times long to check out and the staff that checks you out is not very friendly. I have gone to this carters plenty of times and its always the same. But the last time i went there the lady was so rude i have not returned back to that location and never will. I go to a different location since there are a lot to choose from or i shop online. But i avoid this store at all cost after my last experience.

Carter's: what do users think?

Drea Dawson: The customer service wasn't good overall. It was a back and forth to different counters or sides randomly. Also, the prices were a bit pricey. No great sales like usually when I go there. Cute kid clothes, but the store needs to dedicate a section. To Toddler boys like they do girls. It's very difficult to find 2T through 5T boys. Spent $150 on a hand full of clothes. Kids especially little boys go through clothes too fast for Carter prices.

Eladdieyo Robinson: Great customer service. Handled complex return situation with professionalism and grace. Great selection of clothing!

Matthew Hock: Lots of childrens clothes, shoes, coats, accessories, ect. Many discounts. The store is not organized very well, so you have to search to find the items you are looking for.Mostly decent quality.

Jan Tilley: This is an average children's store, but they do not carry Stride Rite shoes for the children. The store used to be a complete Avenue for children. However they seem to carry a less variety. I do love the clothing for children. I just wish they would bring back the shoes so that you could do one stop shopping.

Jennifer Perez: This store is clean and well lit. The aisles are very narrow making it hard to navigate with a stroller. I came to pickup an online order and took over 15 minutes for them to locate the package.

Ashley Werner: Lovely store. I'm disappointed but how crowded it is and how there is no little play area for the kids. I dislike that there are toys by the register you have to purchase...I wish there was a little thought given to keeping the young ones entertained while parents shop.

Jose M. Cabezas: Here you can find all the clothing needs that you u have for your babies, toddler and kids. We've compared the prices with the outlet locations and there are good discounts all the time. We actually prefer to the regular store than the outlet ones

Jazmin Bibb: This used to be my favorite place to work and shop for my son. It's been awhile since I worked for this organization and I used to work under a different management, and I know we used to run a tight ship. We had to make sure customers were greeted and make sure they head help throughout the store, we wore walkie-talkie so we can properly communicate and ID badges with our name on them. There was always somebody on the floor. After management was rearranged this store has fallen short. Today I came in the store the first time in a long time. When I was checking out the cashier had her back to me on the company laptop. I had to purposely drop the hangar on the counter so she would notice that I was there. I knew that I could not combine a coupon with doorbusters, but just to test the manager I asked her was everything a doorbuster that I had. She replied, I don't know. As if she did not know her own stores promotions. Not only where the signs confusing, the store was a complete and total mess!!! Dirt everywhere, the tables were thrown all over the place. Only reason why I was in there is to do a gift return and purchase. If it wasn't for that I would never sit back into THAT carters again

GG Simmons: To the manager: Please reinforce the importance of friendly greetings, for example, "How may I help you?" and ""Hello". Please let employees know they should attend to customers first and then return to their personal conversations. Also, advise they can straighten the racks if they find themselves with down time.

trickynic303: Not organized properly. Display case make check out area clustered. No assistance offered and boy section needs work. Discount signs not clear to chopper.

Carter's - Curbside available: what do users think?

Rojina Al: Hopefully this store will stay. I love their customer service as they have one of the best and most friendly staff. And with no doubts their collections are very great.

Noorjahan Oomatia: Good quality infant clothes and accessories. The cost of clothes are all reasonable. And the staff managing the store and excellent👍

Debbie Jacobs: Great store. Clean with friendly, helpful staff. They will order items if they don’t have the size you need.

Chelsea Norris: I love this store! Lots of cute clothes & basics, mostly for infants & toddlers. They have a small selection for young kids but they have extended sizes available online & will ship items to the store for free. This store has good sales & the staff is always super friendly & helpful. Bonus: there's a toy (almost like a bead maze) at the register to keep my toddler entertained while I pay.

Kana Nagato: My daughter loves the clothes here. You can participate the reward program here, $10 cashback for every $75 of purchase.

Fairfax City Reporter: City Fairfax’s leading brand on Main St. selling premium clothing, shoes, gifts and other accessories for children. Almost all the products here are child-safe like Handi-Cuff mitten sleeve that protect baby skin from self-scratching earning the trust through generations of families.

Jenni Rea: I don’t normally shop at carter’s. I have a gift card. I’ve been in this particular store twice and both times the staff are difficult to work with and make shopping difficult. All on top of really expensive prices. Be sure that when my gift card is used I won’t be returning.

Negar Nouri: Back in June I made a purchase of swimsuit for my nephew that he was 7 month old at that time, with one visit at the pool he got a really bad rash all over his top body,I contacted customer service and told them about the problem after couple messages back and forth finally I was told that now insurance department will contact me,long story short they did absolutely nothing, the reason I'm sharing this that parents out there be careful with some of products, they may have the same problem,we are talking about kids health.i will share the pictures as well, please share to help improve the quality.

Matthew Jaquith: Always great selection of little kids clothes that won't break the bank

Kaye Baldwin: Wednesday August 17 2016 Store is not open. Posted hours says opens at 10am it's now 1043am. What gives??

Build-A-Bear Workshop: what do users think?

Emily Ford: Helpful and friendly staff really made my visit magical. Would love to go again sometime.

Ankhi Lindemyer: This is a fun thing to do, but the people who work there were not very enthusiastic. Kinda puts a damper on the whole thing. It was our first time being in a BAB workshop. I really think it could have been fun if the people there took a second to explain things or just be a little nicer.

Courjae jones: So amazing and nice. Everything was adorable

Peta Towns: Best experience for littles. They are not able to help build their own best due to Covid restrictions but the experience is still one that children will love!

Gregory Atkins: I got the cool kid Griffin Claw from this location! 10/10 would recommend!

Wa Wa: Nice and full of items you can purchase!

Bri Stallings: It's really unfortunate that I have to give this store a bad rating because I actually like Build-A-Bear as a company, but at this location there is a particular employee by the name of Bryttney that gives a bad taste in my mouth. Given the fact that this young lady comes in my store on a regular basis quiet as a mouse and normally pleasant to everyone, I find it shocking, confusing, and quite disrespectful that she somehow finds the time to go on Google to post a rude and disrespectful review about one of the sweetest and most hard working baristas in our store. I honestly don't know how she could possibly have a problem when she mobile orders 90 percent of the time meaning that she's IN AND OUT within a reasonable amount of time (except busy days) on top of the fact that whenever she comes in everyone on our staff is very nice to her (including myself). Hopefully this store gets better and more positive employees to represent Build-A-Bear, it's brand, and the positivity that Build-A-Bear stands for. Thanks for reading viewers!!!

Bernoullie Doricent: We had my daughter's 4th birthday party at Build-A-Bear National Harbor and she had a blast. The host was super friendly and entertaining. We were happy with the service.

Johnathan Randall (GameDotExe): We arrived early for the age promotion after a 2 hour bus ride and had to leave the line to let my daughter use the restroom (this was a surprise early birthday trip and treat). Upon returning to the line we were directed to the back and upon arrival told no one else could get in line. This is all well before 11 am. We even saw a family leave the line and the employee refused to allow us to return to the line to take their place. Absolutely ridiculous. The store disconnected the phones so all calls get rejected. Customer service must be so swamped that I get a circuit full messages and call reject. There is no way to reach anyone and I'm standing out in the heat with our 7 month old and two year old completely floored by the uncaring attitude and compassionless response to our situation. Edit: Apparently build a bear is sending out vouchers, but that doesn't excuse this employee or store. My wife was even able to return to her spot in line (thanks to those in line near us previously) and the woman who turned us away from trying to do the right thing kicked her out of line just because she saw her near the back. She even threatened to call the police. I'm not sure if this was due to my wife's race or religion (African and Muslim) but she was the only person getting threatened for returning to her spot in line when others were definitely doing the same to seek shade for the kids or to find a bathroom just like us. Maybe it's time to seek a lawyer. Would avoid this store if I were you.

Eric Larson: Go to a different one. I've never had such a glum Build-a-Bear experience in my life. My girlfriend and I went here for our anniversarry on 11/14 at 7:30 pm, and the only person in the store was lifeless and bored throughout the whole experience. Our plushie's voice box is missing somewhere in its stuffing, we asked for a carry-out box that obviously turned out to be too small for it and the store clerk didn't say anything until we had to point it out, and she couldn't describe a single thing about the membership program that was offered. I was just told, "It gives you coins and stuff." I swear the plushie we built had more life than the person who assisted us! Anyone interested is better off at a different workshop. Build-a-Bear, as the name suggests, is about the experience, and I wouldn't want anyone to have ours.

Target: what do users think?

Tyler Isabelle: I ordered one thing for pickup at noon, got an email it was ready by 1pm and to come any time, and went to the store at 3:30pm. Only to find out the order had still not been fulfilled. Finally they bring it out and I just got home and I got the WRONG item. Attention to detail folks!!

Helen Mengesha: I go to the pharmacy here and I never saw some pharmacy that refill prescriptions without the customers consent just for money. Beware at the pharmacy here that is only after the money and don’t care about the actual care of the medicine for the individual client like they want to play games on health.

Joanie Reynolds: Super small Target, not much bigger than a large CVS. Has a decent food section of frozen and non perishables. There is not much for clothing and home goods. Better to go to the Potomac Yards Target is you are able to drive. It works for one off things and is in walking distance of most apartments and work offices.

Ree A: Pretty small branch of Target. It has fresh fruit and vegetables, CVS pharmacy and grocery but lack to parking

Chris DeLorenzo: I think I may have just had the worst customer service experience of my life. I'm not exaggerating about that. I went to this Target today and tried to buy a few things. Since Target is too cheap to pay actual cashiers, I went to the self-checkout. I scanned a few items, but when I tried to scan my bananas, the screen on the machine said "thank you for your patience, an associate will assist you shortly." I looked around. There was an employee next to me. She seemed not to notice. But I figured the system must have alerted someone, so I waited. The employee walked behind me. I guess she saw the message on my screen. She flagged down her co-worker and pointed at me. Yes, just pointed. Didn't interact with me at all. Didn't say, "this gentleman needs some help." Just stood there and pointed her long, bony finger at me, as though I were a piece of defective merchandise. Her coworker said "I'll be there in a minute." To her, not to me. Again, no interaction with me at all. I stood there for another 45 seconds or so while both employees also just stood where they were, not appearing to be doing anything. Finally, I had had enough, so I left all the things I was going to buy at the checkout machine and walked out. As I was leaving, I heard the second employee say "oh, he left." Not a single attempt to get my attention, apologize, or avoid losing my business. Not a single iota of interaction with me, even though the store was mostly empty and neither of them were dealing with other customers. Also, they were selling apples at $1.09. No, not $1.09 per pound. $1.09 per apple. Even the most nefarious Whole Foods executive would consider that a rip-off.

Alicia Halim: Of course we all love Target. The Rosslyn location was a gem.

Leigh Edmonds: I regularly visit the Rosslyn Target location because it is within walking distance of my residence. It does not carry nearly as many products as a normal Target and it’s prices are often higher than the larger Targets in the region, but it’s convenient. During COVID, this store took every precaution to keep customers safe - carts and baskets were properly sanitized between uses and self checkout kiosks were as well. When things began to open up, however, the sanitation practices ended and the courtesy wipe station has been empty….this has gone on for months…months. We are still in a pandemic! I hope they rectify this soon, but until then - bring your own wipes and something to layer the bottom of your filthy basket because if you ask a staffer for a wipe, they’ll tell you with an annoyed tone that they don’t have them.

Rina: I just purchased a laptop here 10 minutes after I called the store and told them that I was coming to pick it up. I waited a good 10 - 15 minutes to be assisted and Ms.Toi stopped what she was doing just to help me when she seen no one else would. Her kindness and patience is very much appreciated. She has amazing energy, was respectful and was really quick at getting me checked out . I would definitely visit again just because of her .

T Sloan: Worst Target I have ever been to. Inventory was lacking with shelves bare all over the store. Confusing store to navigate as well. I went to buy basics like Windex window cleaner and a tub/bath mat; none. Never again.

Debbie Yen: While this Target has most things you need, the staff here is so unfriendly and often outright rude when you ask for any service above self-checkout.

wind day: Great customer service ! I have been here quite frequently and the women working there have been super helpful and sweet. Even the male guards are polite and greet you at the door :) Great place to shop !

Michael Miller: Great customer service. Public bathroom. Clean well organized store. No on sight parking.

Mya Sinclair: Just fair that I will review after shopping here so mnay times. Love the Old Navy and what they make. Prices are OK and amazing on sales.

Darryl Carter Stevens: Everyone is friendly and helpful. My cousin and I went to buy some clothes for my nephew. It was easy to find his size with plenty of options we able to find some great stuff. Plus we were able to get a discount. A very pleasant shopping experience.

Rebecca Jones: Store is so neat and clean. Everything so well organized and Mgr and male staff member was so helpful and pleasant. Very nice store and they are having a great sale this week. Will definitely be shopping there more in the future.

keva bates: This particular location did not have a lot of customers at 5pm on a Sunday. There are new items out with a nice size clearance section in the women's department. The lines were quick. Employees were helpful and friendly.

Lonshanda hillard: I love to do in-store pick-up they are on point with it

UNIQLO Union Station: what do users think?

Kody B: Not the biggest selection of items. I could understand them rotating options depending on the season, but that didn't seem the case. Why was there not a larger selection of items for the current season? For long pants, you had Chinos, Jeans, and Sweatpants. Why have so many aisles of shorts stocked already, it's in the 30s and 40s outside. Makes no sense. The customer service was ok and store was really clean. Just need to work with with what you got being a smaller location.

Alec Augustine-Marceil: UNIQLO is great but their old pop up downtown had a better selection. Odd location.

CHIA-JUI TSAO: How could a Uniqlo don't sell heating clothes. Ridiculous. Waste of my time to come here.

Sophia Wiggins: Yosco and employee at Uniqlo was very rude I will not be returning to shop.

Drea M: Purchased a shirt and washed it the next day following instructions and it came apart. Called the customer service number and waited a few minutes to talk to someone and they told me I have to call the store but I called the number listed for the store on their website. When it comes to solving customer issues thing need to be improved.

Malik M. Hemani: Manager is extremely rude. Wouldn’t share her name properly. Team is not willing to help at all. Small store. Better off going to a nearby store.

Rian C: As far as selections go, it can’t compare to the big box Uniqlo’s in other places, but you still get the essential Uniqlo items so that’s good. Seems to be well staffed and staff were friendly.

Justine Soucy: I love Uniqlo. It's my favourite retailer. So of course I had to find a store while I was in Washington. This location is great! It didn't have a great selection of athletic wear but it did have the new fall collection. Found some really nice shirts and my mom was able to find some nice print t-shirts from the Andy Warhol collection. Staff is nice, the store wasn't busy even though it's location is central, and everything is nicely displayed.

Yuechen S: Good products but bad customer service (uniqlo in general, not this store). I put a pickup order. When the order was ready for pickup at the store, I tried to call the store to let them know that my boyfriend was going to pick it up for me because I don't live there and I cancelled my trip of visiting. There is not a phone number for the store. I waited 15 minutes on a central line only to be told that there was no way for me to change the person who would pick up the order, nor a way to reach and talk to someone at the store. Because this is the policy of the company. It is ridiculous to me that there is no way that I can call the store. I am also appalled how hard it was to navigate myself in the automatic call.

Joshua Halpern: Horrible or NO return policy. Ony returns in that exact store so if buying as a gift, forget it. I have been all over the website and am on hold for 30 minutes now trying to figure out how to return an item. They say you can't mail it back to a warehouse.

Target: what do users think?

Edward Holman: I’ve been coming here since August and they are rarely ever stocked, even when the website says items are in stock. Target needs to find a better way for the in-store inventory to better communicate with the website inventory and keep the shelves stocked. I don’t think it’s a individual store problem, rather a problem with Corporate. I will rate this Target 3 stars because of the floor associates. They are always nice and go above and beyond to help out. Kudos to them!

Yessenia C: This location is conveniently closer to my home than other targets however their product availability is limited. I believe this is an express version of Target. They have small electronics, clothing, market, and home sections. The health, beauty, personal hygiene section is pretty large. Once you know what they do and don't carry it's easier to know what you can purchase there. But it's always clean, good customer service.

MAC Cover: This review deals only with drive up services at Georgia Ave. and Eastern Ave. store in Washington, D.C. Due to a physical impairment another collects my pick up orders. I would not be writing this review if the incident happened once but several times is too much to handle. This location isn't set up for drive up because they constantly leave items out of your order but charge your card. Either Target has someone working drive up who can't read, see, or both. Recently, placed drive up order for paper towels and other items. Got notice from app order was ready which included the paper towels. When order arrived had all items except paper towels which was a huge disappointment. Okay called customer service to make them aware of the hiccup, paper towels were included in total order, charged to my card, but not with my other items. As usual, phone rang and rang but no answer. Finally, customer service answered next day. I explained about missing paper towels, gave order number and got no help. It was like talking to someone from outer space. Young lady said I had to prove I ordered the paper towels. I told her it was a drive up order, gave her my order number, and advised her that store could pull up my order as well. Got no where with customer service, asked to speak to manager, didn't happen, so stressed, had to hand phone to another to talk on my behalf. Still don't have paper towels I already paid for. Not only do they leave items off orders, they stuff a bunch of heavy items in one bag making it awkward to carry. Please check your bags before leaving this location and if you want to avoid a stressful drive up experience, shop Wheaton/Westfield mall location, much better. Target is still my go to store but not this particular location for drive up service.

Dimitri Ivanoff: It's about 1/3 in size of regular Target. Has a fresh produce & meats section, basic grocery items, cleaning supplies plus some clothing, beauty, electronics. Right now (April 2021) mostly serves on-line orders & curbside pickup. Parking is at the back of the store, but there's entrance from Georgia Avenue. Self service at this entrance almost empty while one at the back has waiting line. Pricewise it's inline with Giant, even some groceries could be cheaper.

Dorie Kane: This is a "mini Target" so keep in mind you can't expect it to have the inventory of the large stores. That said, I go there for essentials and typically find what I need (including hair care products which many have complained about). Staff - including security - are overall nice and helpful. Like another reviewer I did find they were unable to place an order for me - I needed a different size and wanted to apply the credit to an order. They have me a refund and I placed the order myself online. I guess there are some things smaller stores can't do but I do like this one for its convenience when it comes to basics.

Janice Temple: This Target Store is well-lit with wide aisles. I went there on a Sunday evening. Some of the shelves were empty from Saturday shoppers. I wanted to buy Figi Water but they were sold out. I am impressive by the organic selection of groceries. The parking was plentiful the day and time that I went.

SW: Neat small Target. However the security there is awful!!!! Everytime I’ve visited there is a security guard (man with National jersey) following me and whoever I visit the store with. I live in the area, so I frequent this store a lot. Mind you he is not clever with the following. He straight goes to whatever aisle I am in. This makes me not what to use this Target

Bryan Cortez: Don't understand the negative reviews? This is a smaller Target, of course you won't have everything you have at a regular Target - but it has all the essentials. Need milk? eggs? chicken? They have it. Need a spare shirt, or pair of pants? They have it. Need some airpods? Need a spare controller? Maybe you need shampoo, or medication? Target has it. They have all the essentials you need all in this store. Seriously, if you want to know if they have something before you come - use the Target app, it'll be your best friend on each Target Run. This store was definitely needed in the area! Prices are very fair, compared to other retailers nearby. Very clean, organized ---- and the best part are the employees - Very helpful!

Bre'Anna Scott: Pushy and profiling security... scolds children who's parents are in plain sight. Unprofessional and aggressive in their approach.

dontec H.: I was just in my neighborhood store to purchase Goodfellow t-shirts. My preferred size wasn't available. I went to guest relations for assistance. She called over a Manager for assistance. I asked if he knew when the t-shirts would be back in stock. He said the store didn't do the ordering. The company sends over inventory based on their sales, etc. . He said one pack would be sent over in L in a few days. I needed medium. I asked if the Store Manager was in store. He let me know the Clothing Manager was on duty. The clothing manager came over and I explained my need for a medium size. He went to check the shelf. He returned to let me know that the item wasn't on the shelf and is a high theft item. He then said he doesn't know when they'd be coming. He was talking to me very loudly to the point that other customers could hear our conversation. I asked him when the Store Manager would be returning. I let him know that he was speaking to me in an elevated tone and I was standing in front of him. He then said that he was the store manager. Target has employees that lie and render poor customer service to paying shoppers.
