Jacqueline Dobranski: We have been enthusiastic customers of Ligne Roset DC since 2012 when we bought a set of 12 formal "So" dining chairs and the iconic pumpkin chair. The store is locally owned by a warm and welcoming community-minded family. This translates to amazing customer service! Owner David Zein has an exquisite eye for design. He patiently helped me choose the right pieces and the perfect colors for my home without sales pressure. A couple of years later I stopped in and purchased the Ploum love seat - like sitting on a cloud! The first night I had it my dog chewed a hole in the seat! David had an upholsterer there the next day and you cannot tell anything happened! Last year we replaced our casual dining table and chairs at Ligne Roset. David swore the chair fabric would not stain, and he was right! I have two young kids - soy sauce, spaghetti sauce, you name it - it all comes right out of light gray fabric with a damp cloth! I have always admired Ligne Roset, and we get compliments on the style and comfort of our furniture all the time. Thank you to David and wife Dani for an excellent shopping experience. We are customers for life! BTW their newest store at the DC Wharf is stunning!

Quoc Thieu Tran: I reached out to Tim to see if he and his team could help move the same Boconcept pieces I bought a couple years ago. Tim was able to accommodate and the furniture was disassembled, wrapped, and moved to my new apartment. While assembly manuals are helpful, having someone who already knows how to disassemble/assemble these furniture pieces definitely expedited my move. Would highly recommend!

Shailesh Kumar: Purchased "Indivi" sectional after customization. It fits very well for two families and perfect for our family room. Very sturdy and contemporary style. We also purchased a customized large leather ottoman to go with it. Quite satisfied with the quality- bit on the expensive side but I guess worth it. Very thankful to Aymann from DC store who helped us for this purchase and spent a lot of time explaining and choosing the right stuff. Looking forward to few other Bo-Concept furniture in our home.

Michael Nagan: Two big thumbs-up for BoConcept, and Tim. The first thumbs-up is for the furniture itself. We purchased several Mariposa chairs and a Granada table. We have absolutely loved them both! They are probably our favorite pieces of furniture. The table is incredibly easy to expand and contract, so we actually do it all the time. (The mechanism is kind of fun to use, so I actually like doing it, rather than dreading it.) And the chairs are beautiful and comfortable. The second thumbs-up is for their service. We had a problem with one of the chairs almost five years after we purchased it. The warranty had long since ended, but I contacted Tim (who wasn’t even the owner when we purchased the chairs) to ask about it. He concluded that the problem shouldn’t have happened, so he offered to fix the chair for free. That involved replacing a substantial piece of the chair - which couldn’t have been cheap for them. And they did the repair in about 15 minutes at their warehouse while I waited and chatted with the lovely repair people. I guess you can tell that I feel pretty positive about BoConcept, but they’ve earned it!

Rob Streicker: I cannot say enough nice things about BoConcept DC and its owner Tim Machenaud. I purchased an office chair from this shop almost 5 years ago and it held up beautifully until one of the wheels popped off -- it appeared that normal wear and tear had stripped a bolt of its threading. Despite the chair being out of warranty, Tim immediately offered to replace the entire chair at no cost to me. It was available to pick up from the showroom the next day. This is customer service at its finest. I'm now sitting in my new chair writing this review -- a very happy customer.

Patricia Strohm: The team at Bo Concept did a terrific job in helping me find the right furniture for my new place. I've always liked the furniture and other products at Bo Concepts but the Georgetown store is the best (better than the ones in London) I have visited.

Laura Lee: Seriously, the best customer service EVER!. We bought a couch and a rug here and Tim is so expeditious with his replies to anything we needed. There was a little piece of fabric that was sticking out after we got it delivered and he came right away to fix it. The delivery was also the BEST delivery experience I have ever had. SOOOOO OD professional! The inside of the moving vehicle was even cleaner than my house! Definitely NOT a 3rd party delivery service and fake white glove delivery. They wore booties when they came into the house, came within the time frame of said delivery, and gave 20-25 mins notice as promised. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to ANYONE! Superb 5 star service.

J Powell: Purchased the Jagger counter stools, an ottoman and the Emory sofa. Love, love the sofa! It’s everything we wanted in a sofa. It’s super comfy and great for lounging. We had the tanner barstools, but they didn’t pair well with the other decor. Easy process switching them out for the Jagger. All and all, it was a pleasure working with Marnie.

Thule Huff: I spoke to Liz, the store manager today and admittedly, I was having a conniption. I was upset that the side panel for my Palmer storage bed was not going to be replaced with the right color as it was previously delivered and assembled with the wrong color side panel. I know this was NOT Arhaus' fault. I learned that one of the redelivered side panels was damaged, but the other one wasn't, so the delivery men were able to replace the side panel as originally planned. Liz is phenomenal! Why? She not only was able to calm me down and stayed professional the whole time. Which was amazing, as I didn't seem to wan to le her get a word in edgewise. What wasn't planned was that the platform for this particular bed set the bed up too high. She called the warehouse and received authorization to let me return the platform that same day, which provide me a refund when it is returned to the warehouse. I asked and she delivered! Pun intended. Arhaus is quality furniture and she provided quality service. She is a definitive asset to her industry! Thank so much, Liz!

Nick Byrnes: Absolutely gorgeous showroom! Each setpiece was well designed, stylish, and really comfortable albeit you pay above average prices for it all. We went in looking for a sectional for our living room and happened to sit on this "Emory" modular sectional. The one helping us, Hazel, was super nice and walked us through its features and helped price out the configuration we wanted. She was kind and not too pushy.

Pavel Romanenko: We received our sofa with holes and scratches. We submitted a report and then we had to chase Rebecca who is responsible for returns. She said we can get a new one in April as a replacement. I asked her if is it possible to get a compensation instead, she promised to call me back. She did not call me back, I called her again and she said she would investigate and call me back. Now, almost 6 months passed since that phone call. She never called us back! I called to the store and they said that we would have a new sofa in May. Why didn't their representative ever called us as she promised twice? Also, how could they do it without our formal content? If someone from the store is reading these reviews, I want to use it as a formal complaint!

Jill Tuchmann: sales staff is wonderful while your in the store and the furniture is great quality. once you leave the showroom it takes months longer to deliver now, my main compliant is no one calls you, no customer service If you can wait twice as long as they say and are happy with no communication your ok if you want someone to ignore you, otherwise you have to call the store and hope someone calls you back or you have to keep calling. Customer service is horrible and they keep blaming the pandemic, the pandemic does not excuse bad communication EVER

Steven K: Hazel Harrigan is the reason we bought our sofa! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us and politely and enthusiastically showed us around the showroom. I originally came in on a $2,000 sofa I saw online and thought that was the one. However, Hazel showed me the value in the Pavo collection sectional. Although it was an additional $3,000, we ultimately ended up going with the Pavo due to Hazels professionalism and immense knowledge of Arhaus products. I felt no need to look any further. Matt Jepsen: Whatever you do, don't order online. BBB uses UPS Sure Post where UPS delivers to your local/regional post office who in turn delivers it with your mail. I'm a big proponent of the US Mail and I have no beef with UPS. But, they often don’t work well together and the handoff makes for significant delays. If you're going big box for online shopping, stick with Walmart/Target/Amazon or better yet, support a local business.

Patrick: The people working do not wear the masks appropriately - mouth covered, nose not. One employee was kind enough to put more disinfectant wipes for the carts after asked him to. Cool products and great place to get small sized items for travel.

It’s been a lengthy process since I ordered in January, but we live in a different world than before Covid… I hope that I didn’t come across as too impatient. The entire BoConcept team did a fantastic job in advising me plus communicating - Lina, Laurence, Tony were a pleasure to work with and they are true professionals! Especially Lina was an excellent, quick, and patient consultant, who was very helpful when it came to ordering, then making changes, and providing a leather sample. The beauty and quality of my new RENO chair speaks for itself and, in my opinion, is worth the price. I easily put things together once items arrived and assembly was no problem at all. Harsh Bagde: BoConcept product selection and customization options are incredible. We worked with Lina Afzal to customize and order a 3 seater sectional. She is very knowledgable and diligent. Throughout the order lifecycle, she kept us updated on the status of the order (orders take time given the current supply chain issues). Once the order arrived to the warehouse, the delivery team executed a well timed white glove delivery. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for high end/quality furniture.

He also personally delivered the last furniture I bought and assisted me in helping schedule a delivery so that I would get the furniture sooner than the original ETA. I'm giving two stars as a general review because I am extremely disappointed by the unprofessional tones and service from another consultant Julie from a few interactions on the phone and email when I asked for basic questions concerning updates in regards to changes made to the order or delivery. I called to check in when I didn't hear from delivery team on the set date I was told originally. The original delivery ETA was set earlier according to computer, but changed to another date later on due to logistical changes, which is understandable. After that, it was changed again but I wasn't informed so I waited a day and then simply called/emailed to check in and ask but when I spoke with Julie, it was a very curt and unpleasant interaction. I asked for details concerning what happened and what may possibly be the timeline given the new logistical details. Julie was very unfriendly and I did not want to ask any more. I then email my main consultant- Lina but then was responded by Julie saying I was impatient, stating incorrect details about original ETA of delivery that was on computer back when I placed the order. I understand that this is a busy stressful holiday season for everyone, however, asking about changed updates or just being informed on when to expect an email on delivery etc. is not an unreasonable request, especially since I have been told that I will be updated if there are changes by email, etc and I also need to work out a busy schedule with the delivery team as well. This is extremely disappointing to me as I see that Julie is the team leader. I have enjoyed working with my consultant Lina as she is very patient and looks up information for me to ensure I am happy with what I purchase (which resulted in me buying a dining table, coffee table and sofa) but unfortunately I am not sure if I would like to come back if other consultants are not professional and it is a very unfriendly atmosphere when I call or email for questions or concerns. I have contacted the owner, Tim through the email he provided in responses to other reviews. I will update if there are any changes since.

Sang-Jin James Lee: My wife and I probably visited a half-dozen different stores looking for contemporary, modern furniture before BoConcept. We're glad we found Tim and his team here at the Tysons Galleria location! From start to our delivery day today, he was professional and knowledgeable with everything in his showroom. We initially walked in for a bed for our master bedroom, but ended up furnishing majority of our place through them. So happy with our decision!

Gill Cook: “Go to BoConcept. They’re simply the best.” That’s what friends told us when we set out to find a table for our new kitchen two years ago. They were right. At BoConcept, with the help of design consultant Julie Bareits, we found what we had not been able to find anywhere else: a beautiful 51” round pedestal table that expands to seat 8 and stores its own extension leaf in the tabletop. The ingenious expansion mechanism allows one person to open and expand the weighty table with ease, while the table remains perfectly centered. It is both a work of art and an engineering marvel. What has made our “customer experience” even more special has been the top-notch professional service and personal attention BoConcept has given—before, during, and well after the sale. Over the past two years, I have called Julie and members of the installation team to ask questions about table maintenance or operation; they always respond promptly, with clear explanations (even offering to come out and demonstrate again!). Last month, I noticed that the tabletop, when viewed in a certain light, seemed to have lost some of its initial luster in places, and, if I squinted, I could see part of a dim ring left by a glass of ice water. I also noticed a tiny black spot on the tabletop. None of these areas was easily visible, but, since Julie had been so helpful all along, I called her and asked if she had some suggestions about how I might touch them up. She asked me to send her pictures, which I did. Within a few days, I received a letter from BoConcept’s Warehouse Team Leader, explaining that he had convinced the supplier, as a “good service,” to provide us with a new top for our table, which the BoConcept installation team would install free of charge when it arrived in December. We were stunned. And very grateful. Never before have we encountered such “good service” from a furniture retailer. Now we’re recommending BoConcept to our friends. And we will definitely be back.

Mitch Katz: BoConcept has two gorgeous showrooms worth visiting, one on M Street in Georgetown, and the other in Tyson’s Corner. BoConcept furniture is terrifically designed, perhaps with a modern yet tastefully stylish European/Scandinavian orientation and done in warm colors. Most importantly, their furniture is truly meant to be lived in and enjoyed every day. Especially valuable to non-designer types are BoConcept’s design services. As examples, we have discontinued all PU leathers (used by IKEA) because of their lack of durability, we use high end materials like Ceramic tops (not used by IKEA), our hardware has the same technology of luxury brands (Roche Bobois, DWR, Ligne Roset, Restoration Hardware...). My young daughters have IKEA bedrooms which I have assembled personally, so I know very well the difference between our brands in terms of product and service. Robin Toomey: The sales and service at this store is horrible. Ordered some furniture with a sales person who had no idea what she was doing so it was very frustrating. Next day called her to see if they had a certain chair in stock that we could look at and to finalize order on another piece of furniture. Went to store next day to look at chair and add to our order and was told she no longer worked for the company. Started over with another sales person who also had no idea what she was doing. Made some corrections in our order and added another item- took forever because she didn’t know how to use the system. Received message that some of the order was ready . Called to confirm that we wanted it to be delivered and was told we would receive a call to schedule. After 5 days and no call to schedule delivery we called the store and they took info and said we would get a call back that afternoon. No surprise that we received no call back so called customer service who told me the sales person put the wrong date on the delivery- used February instead of January. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for something I needed buy 2/1. Complete incompetence at this location. The Tysons store is much better.

Brian Ruther: Staff unwelcoming and not helpful. While we love the look and quality of Arhaus, we could never find anyone that was interested in helping us. Staff generally seems uninterested in assisting customers. When asked a sales person the benefits of ordering in store versus online, they stated "we can provide updates on orders"....so if I'm clear, the benefit is they can track orders for me? Similar to what I get from every major shipping company? Updates such as, it has been shipped or it has not been shipped. Arhaus sales pitch- quality furniture if your willing to deal with lousy customer service and lazy unprofessional sales staff.

J Powell: Stopped in at this location just to take another glance at some pieces I purchased from the Fairfax location … just wanted another look before finalizing my order. NO ONE acknowledged us as we walked in. I went up to the counter and asked for the location of the counter stools. Mariana proceeded to say something, but I interjected and called the furniture by name b/c she started to tell me that the store didn’t have … Again, I was there to take a glance and really didn’t need her help! The store is fairly big, so I asked. Her willingness to assist us changed as I asked for difference pieces by their name… She escorted us to the elevator and came along … if looks could kill… whatever that saying is. She looked my partner and I up and down, side ways, cross ways and all. As she was doing this the entire time, I made contact with my sales associate in Fairfax to confirm the items I wanted and we left. Before leaving, she asked for my phone # to follow up because prices were soon to increase ( I already knew this). I gave her my phone # and name. Assuming she would look me up in their system to see if I actually had an open order, SHE DID! I got an email a week later and a phone call from her asking if I was ready to purchase. I never shared my email with her. After reading other people experiences, I’m not surprised! I hope this location works on its customer service! If I didn’t already have an open order at different location, I would not have shopped here at all!!!! I don’t care if I’m just browsing or decide not to comb my hair on a Sunday, my money is just as good as the next person walking through that door!

Tassey Russo: This was my first visit to Arhaus. What a beautiful, welcoming and, yes, enticing showroom.The furniture tends to a style of modern traditional. Very well made and totally customizable to fabrics Lead times to delivery vary but tend to be 6 to 10 weeks, even 14 weeks possible. Service was superb. Our rep took time to understand our needs and addressed our opinions with options. The negative is the cost of parking. There are 2 free hours but expensive rates thereafter.

Silvia Florian: Arhaus has a beautiful selection of furniture. The staff in Bethesda is great specially Kent. However I placed an order over 4 months ago and paid in full for a pretty expensive table. Arhaus lack of customer service and commitment is disappointing ! Arhaus has not taken the initiative to call me not once to offer an update about my table. I was told the table should arrive within a month of my purchase. I had to call Arhaus concierge three times for an update and I have every time been told “we are sorry your item is delayed “ . Three weeks ago I called concierge and requested to speak with upper management, I was told I would receive a call back from the Regional Manager in a 2 day period. NEVER GOT THE CALL. I Emailed concierge last week. NEVER GOT A FOLLOW UP. You would assume Arhaus is a serious and committed company. Unfortunately that is not the case here. I believe a 5 month wait is absurd. I also bought furniture pieces from stores such as WestElm and my furniture was delivered within the time frame originally promised. I would hope Arhaus will read this review and someone will follow up with me with an update other than “we are sorry your item is delayed “ Extremely Disappointing.

Maggie Gaddis: We placed an order in May for 2 sofas and Janine promised that one of them would arrive by August and the other in the fall. It is now September and we have not received the sofa promised to arrive in August. We called the manager and she was very disrespectful on the phone stating that they never promised and that there was nothing they could do and that she is unable to provide an estimate of delivery. This is awful customer service and we will never purchase from this store again. I suspect we were given a false promise just to make the sale.

Loc Truong: Bought a sofa set on March 25th and was promised a delivery date around July. Someone reached out to me a month later and said that it would be August. I was patient and waited until now. It's August!! Not one update, but I get spammed everyday. I reached out to them on Monday the 9th and have yet to receive a response. I called the customer service number and requested to speak to a supervisor and left a message. Crickets. Called again asking for someone to speak to and supposedly the District Manager will reach out to me. I'm not going to hold my breath. What upsets me the most is that I've been paying for something for months now and haven't even received it. I wouldn't be so upset if I just received an update. You would think that I would receive a excellent customer service experience from a high end store.

Mark Christian: Complete bate and switch. We purchased a sofa months ago with a promise of a delivery date at the end of May. If I knew what a hassle this would be to get a product we payed for months ago I would have certainly gone with a competitor. Azeb Tamrat: I was at the store yesterday afternoon and stumbled across a sales man by the name David. David's professionalism is in another level. Aside from being extremely pleasant, He assisted me with every item on my list by taking me around the store. Frankly, this is the best customer service I have ever received in my life. Leslie Barrack: Had horrible issues ordering online on the app. Part of the order was for in store pickup. My daughter went to pick up the in store pickup and it wasn’t there. I went in a few days later to see if the store could help me sort what happened out on their system since the app would not show the history or what happened to the order. I stood in line and when I was next and employee came up to see if he could assist while I was waiting. I explained I wanted someone who could look on the computer and since the person in front of me was just finishing up I asked him to let me just get helped by the desk as someone else was trying to slide in front of me. As soon as I got to desk the woman behind wouldn’t let me speak and just us me step to the side with someone else. So no one would look online and I still don’t know what happened. Just going to make sure my bank disputes any balances and never shopping here again.

Rhonda Medina: This is a "pharmacy" Bed, Bath & Beyond because it has over the counter medicines, hygiene products, hair care and more, but no actual pharmacy. They carry some products you can't buy other places, so I find myself visiting every couple of months. The store is clean and staff is helpful and plentiful. The only drawback is their prices are a little high compared to other stores.

Edward Parelhoff: My wife and I were very impressed when we visited the Fairfax Corner Store and purchased a kitchen table and four chairs. The problems began after the sale. Our salesperson told us that the chairs we ordered were discontinued but there were still 9 in the system. We paid a deposit for the table and were told that we would hear about the chairs. One month later, she called and told us that she had reserved them and we had to pay a deposit for the chairs. I agreed and then she mistakenly overcharged my credit card by thousands of dollars. I called and had the charge reduced to the agreed upon deposit, but it took a week before the credit posted. A week later, we were informed that the chairs were no longer available despite the deposit and that we had to come in and pick out new chairs. At this point, I cancelled the entire order (too many mistakes). They are a very expensive store and I would have expected much better customer service.

Aaron J Evans: Beware - they'll say anything to get a sale. I ordered a chair but given build delays was told at least 6 months on the delivery time. After a while I decided to just get something that was an in stock item. When I asked the store they informed me there was a 50 percent cancelation fee. I told them I wasn't made aware of the cancelation policy and that I would not have purchased if I had been told. I've spent well into the 5 digits at Arhaus over the years and they completely dismissed me without even an apology of their stupid rule. I was expecting at least the store manager to reach out but nobody bothered other than the non empathetic sales person. I don't recommend this store or its dishonest salespeople. Buy at your own risk!

Nathan W: I had a really bad experience here when purchasing a sofa. I selected a custom fabric but ended up receiving the stock fabric after 5 months of waiting. Waiting for the right fabric will take another 5 months. The mixup is inconvenient but not the end of the world. Where things went sour, however, was when the sales person misled me to believe some things were true when they were not: the exchange order was being expedited, I could expect the new sofa in 6-8 weeks, he had asked his manager to compensate us for the inconvenience (they ultimately did, but this was untrue when the sales person made the promise). Eventually I recognized the problem was the sales person and not the store, and Arhaus has been helpful and attentive since I requested a new sales person on my account. That said, they were unable to meet the expectations set by the sales person, so I’ll be waiting on the new sofa for another five months. My advice: if you make a custom order, ensure you know the name of the pieces and materials; don’t just trust the sales person did it right, and make sure to check every detail on the order form with them before you leave the store. Also, if you feel your sales person using predatory tactics, just ask for someone else.

Kim T: From the beginning ~July 2020 to present, Arhaus has been our number 1 go-to furniture. Modern, contemporary furniture with top-knotch craftsmanship. If you're looking to design your home you're probably looking at the other major frunishing stores (crate&barrel, west elm, pottery barn, RH, etc.). Look no further. Arhaus' quality compared to those other stores can be felt and seen as soon as you walk in. We originally stepped into the Tyson's corner location (Tyson's 1 mall) before they moved to the new Galleria location. We were walking around with the Carrina table in mind. Why not? It was a work of art we found online and had to see in person. A few staff walked passed us, but when Patti walked by she immediately greeted us and introduced herself immediately. She also recommended that we work with Katie for our interior design. We were not sure of the interior design process but Katie sat us down and got to work! Showing us what our home would look like with the furnitures we were interested. She immediately created a 3D rendering of our space and emailed them to us immediately. I'm sure we had this should and would have been a long processing but Katie did it all in one day. With her recommendation we went with EVERYTHING she picked out. Made a few changes with some color but everything she designed for us was eye catching. We worked with Patti to secure our furniture. She made sure were comfortable with the delivery dates and payment processing. She also gave us a tip about making purchases before closing on our home. Btw, shipping delays is a thing in the pandemic. It's not anything anyone at the store can handle. There are many companies trying to get their shipment and everyday goods into the ports and warehouse. I'm glad Katie and Patti were upfront about that and we knew our expectations. Katie provided the estimated arrival dates and Patti has reminded us throughout the past 6+ months. We've been adding additional items and Patti has been able to help us over the phone and answering all of our emails promptly. I am not sure how you can even knock on their customer service and outreach! We still have more items to deliver (new items we added on recently). I am constantly on their site looking at the amazing furniture to furnish our entire home. The delivery process has been efficient. They usually call you about 5-6 days out from the first availability date. You'll have the chance to pick that date or something more convenient for you. I must say we had at least 6-7 deliveries and would say 6/7 were very efficient. Don't forget to tip them if for heavy and volume delivery! It's not required but is appreciated. I've had one damage my walls but Arhaus concierge has allowed me to file a claim to receive compensation for it. Lastly, some items may not come super sparkling new. Which is most likely damaged or due to sitting in the warehouse for a while but no need to worry, Arhaus concierge to the rescue! They were able to exchange/ replace a few of our items without a hassle. I've also dealt with their furniture repair service. Those guys were super helpful, especially Chris from the Maryland area. He came and provided detailed information on our Wyller bed. Beautiful bed, but it came damaged. We are waiting on the next steps. Overall, our expectations have been met and I recommend shopping at Arhaus for all of your home furnishings! I recommend Patti as your sales consultant. She's amazing to work with and will make sure you are happy and satisfied with all of your delivery and furniture. + As of May 2022, I am still satisfied with Arhaus concierge and Patti's customer service. We still have items coming (our house is basically an Arhaus showroom - hah!)

Amber Chaudhry: I bought a bookcase and originally that was supposed to take 3 months to deliver but it ended up taking more that 6 months. I was never informed of the delay, I had to call for updates. All for it to be delivered with scuffs/scratches on both side. Spending over 1k on a item for it to be received damages was not worth it.

Nohemi King: So I was very excited to buy new furniture for my husband’s office. It was beginning of May and I was hoping I could get it by the end of May, I ordered several thousand dollars worth of furniture and was told it would come by beginning of June. I was fine with that. I was then told the furniture would not come till mid July but the desk would not be delivered until August. I get the first delivery and it was NOT what I wanted. Since it was a surprise for my husband he was not aware of the contents and he accepted the delivery. I came home excited to see it and immediately called to tell them it was the wrong furniture. Left a message and I did not get a call back! I called them again the next day and talked to them. They will fix the mistake and deliver the new piece but not until end of August. This info was given to me after I called them because they did not call me to give me an update. Very frustrated and very disappointed that I could not give this belated gift without such hassle. They are also terrible about calling back, I am the one who has to call them. Close to $9,000 worth of furniture and horrible service. Very disappointed. I’m waiting on a call back for price difference, we’ll see if I hear back from them. Tysons location

Jessie Cohen: I’m writing this review for in store customer service. I just ordered a sectional and we worked with Patti. She was knowledgeable, gave great advice for the space we were furnishing, helped us narrow down fabrics and got our order processed in no time! She was very friendly and we really enjoyed working with her! I’ll definitely seek her out for all future purchases with Arhaus. Cannot speak to quality or delivery yet, however our item is in stock and should be delivered within a few weeks. I’ll update my review once I receive my piece.

Barbara A Meisler: In recent visits to the Rockville store, I have been surprised by many empty shelves or spaces. I still find most of the items for which I shop, especially cleaning equipment and products, as well as most, not all, cosmetics, I have been disappointed that the supply I once counted on is no longer a given. I do like the online selection and the fine gift selection in the store so I will continue to be a customer. I also give kudos to the staff, especially cashiers. The PR department must know it all!

Luis Rojas: WORST “company” to deal with…. Unprofessional, my wife and I placed an order more than a month ago and we never received it. Requested a refund back and it has been a month plus 1 week and we still see the pending charge on our bank. I have called this “company” like 10 times and today they just told me that since it was never shipped the credit card was never charge so they put a request to remove the temp charge …. This is unbelievable, unprofessional, feels like fraud i will have to contact my bank at the end….

Mathias Serfaty: This store is great for browsing and looking at new gadgets. They definitely do not have the best prices. Their system of discount via coupon is too convoluted and still doesn't result to a lower price than the competition. They also seem to have more restrictions on returns. I am frankly surprised that they are still in business.

PERFECT TWO LOVE4LIFE: They have wonderful stuff that start at $10 and up but, when you go to the register you can leave with 5 or 6 items for $80 or more.

Avik Dutta: Crockery collection is amazing. Sometimes you will find great deals on selected products. It’s better to use the coupons. You can get the coupns if you subscribe. The bedding collection and kitchen collections are good. The prices are in higher end. You can order online and pick up in the store. The seasonal items are worth checking. Then he asked another Bed Bath and Beyond Team Member who sent me to Home Decor. I didn't see so I asked someone to look at inventory for another store. Then he took me back to Home Decor and there was this huge display. I am trying the relief roll-in with the Bed Bath and Beyond $5 off coupon.

Marissa Frank: Friendly staff here, at registers and customer service. Some sections are a little crowded with items like a grocery store, and other sections are huge with less inventory, like the bedding. It makes sense but it's not a relaxing shop. There are clearance shelves scattered around so take a look.

Natalie Buffington: This is the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. We didn't even come in to look at chairs. Our list of wants quickly grew from just a dining room set, to this chair, and a bar area set up. Allahna helped us out tremendously, she was very informative, warm, personable and come to find out she has only been there for four days. The style of this place is unlike any other. Stop in and ask for Allahna.

Urvashi Sagar: Ordered almost $10k worth of furniture only to find out one of the pieces was placed incorrectly. Called the store multiple times and even talked to the manager who only spoke with attitude and was of no help- didn’t even return the phone call as she promised. Chris Huff: The furniture is very nice. Unfortunately when we had a credit check done for financing, it was returned that we were only approved for a low amount. We told them we weren't going to go with the financing. The person at the store did not end the process there but signed us up for a credit card without our permission. I have spent a lot of time on the phone trying to get this resolved. I am very frustrated with this as it will now affect my credit score as I attempt to get financing for a vehicle or house. Update: I did not follow up. I have a family and many commitments, just as everyone does. I just want things to work correctly. Don't put a hard hit on a persons credit then give them a credit card they didn't request. Just because 'it is our process' doesn't make it correct. I should contact the BBB.

John Ward: Stephanie Strott visited our home in Loudoun County (all the way from Columbia, MD) and intently listened to our ideas and concerns. A few days later she provided some design boards with everything from seating, tables, lighting to wall coverings and paint ideas. Upon meeting her today in the Arhaus store, she walked us around to all the pieces and highlighted how they would enhance our area. After listening to our uncertainty about a particular design, she effortlessly introduced us to another look that we ultimately purchased. She was not pushy whatsoever during the sale. She even suggested that we buy less now, see how it feels, then procure more later. Spiral Tote: 4Dec.2021I was browsing and a mgr have his employee a compliment about his work(the employee was either shy or didn’t know how to receive a compliment)and I chimed in about how nice it was to hear a mgr to tell his employee or just to say that to another person. The store is well organized and clean very easy to move through. 10a.m. cashier working today at main register is slow and low on the greetings. Polite, kind, and professional employees. Makes for great shopping at anytime.

Hilda Kroll: All the other BB&B stores I used to shop at are now closed, so it was nice to walk around the store and remember the large variety of items they offer. Not easy to get here if you rely on public transportation.

Peyman TalebiFard: Visited this store at least 4 times in the past 6 months. The in store prices are generally higher than other stores in the VA. The store is rather clean and easy to navigate. Located in a busy area making it accessible if one is visiting malls across the street.

KATHLEEN Calahan: We needed a new mattress pad. The inventory was very low. We made a selection. When we checked out the price was $60 more than what we thought it was by the prices on the shelf. The cashier shrugged his shoulders and said “ people move them around”. We bought it anyway because inventory problems are not uncommon these day they had few choices. We didn’t want to waste time and gas looking further. We’ll probably won’t go back for other purchases. At least the department stores or online purchases have more clearly marked prices, more assistance, and a bigger inventory.

Jason Williams: I picked up an order I placed online from here. I think they have slightly more options to buy from than the store in Alexandria and the aisles and shelves were well organized when I visited. The store itself is also a bit less cramped. My only complaint would be the people at the customer service desk were kind of rude, it could have been that all three of them had a bad day and it was a one off thing. One of the representatives at the register was pretty nice when I asked them for help. The item variety and cleanliness of the store is five stars and you can find some good deals at times. I'd rate my customer service experience two stars, so three or four stars for this location overall is probably fair

Nate Schley: I came to rebuild the foam insides of a dog bed, but the proprietor offered better (more economical!) advice to restore it. While there, I got a look at his handiwork -- very good stuff. The shop is all about reupholstering, including cushions and fabric. I know refurbishing is not the Modern American way of doing things -- Correct American Thinking of the 21st Century dictates that one trash all tarnished or dated items and buy new stuff, but -- if you happen to be a cultural renegade, and If you have furniture with any degree of quality,, then this is certainly the place to get it refurbished. As a cultural renegade, I look forward to bringing my furniture here for refurbishment in the future. (Reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5: because I've only seen the shop's work; I haven't brought any of its work home.)

Nancy Holderman: Purchased the Good Morning pillow and it has saved my neck literally. Have worked with them for years on various padding, foam and replacement for bed foam. Always willing to help and it has solved many problems over the years. My quadriplegic son on life support has also been the recipient of many of his foam/upholstery solutions. Vi Rodriguez: This is a very cool building to visit. The history behind it is also very interesting which you can learn all about it in the basement. The building is very clean!! Lots of staff available to help answer any questions you may have. The first and main floor is the Apple store but it’s not like a regular Apple store. There is a huge selection of all of Apple’s products. On the second floor is a digital art gallery and the library but they were both clothed when I came on a Saturday. Still a cool visit and it’s free to enter and walk around.

Swire Ho: From out of town and we almost didn't notice it is an Apple Store. It was the old Carnegie Library built back in 1901. Went during a weekday at 1PM so there were more employees than customers. They have a gallery on the Top floor and basement. We walked there from our nearby hotel and I don't see any parking near the building.

B Dunnegan: Wasted so much time waiting for reps, while reps who claim they can’t help just stand around. How many reps do YOU see?? I get calls and emails on regular from business team yet when I come in store, none are available to help. Also—the store operation is inefficiently run. What should be pinging/cueing up clients at check in is a belaboring dog and pony show that passes you from one rep to another. Over it. As a small business owner, who was literally called and emailed every day by what was described as a small business support team at the Carnegie location has not produced one iota of assistance. Over it.

livingmytruth 2: Michael, Gunner and Taylor were absolutely amazing. This was by far the best Apple store i ever been in. As soon as i walked in the door i was greeted by Taylor and Michael. They made me feel at home. They answered all my questions and eased all my fears about this big new location. Then i met with Gunner ( who happens to be deaf) and he was absolutely a joy. He was efficient, fast and he really made me feel comfortable through my process of getting an new ipad. Way to go Apple, this is the kind of experience i am looking for

On the plus side, they are very accommodating for employees with disabilities. Overall though they are pretty bad at letting people just stand around

Don C: Rude Ripoff! Studio 3B Pillows sale for 25% off - see pic. What I wanted were marked $20. I went to buy 4 @ $15. Computer said $25, and "manager" type(?) would not honor the sales price on 4 - when they are trying to clearance things out! Rude - I say rude, because she could barely speak 3 works to me after hiding in the section for a while to avoid me. And then only after I asked for definite yes/no. Clerk was nice but clueless. Said manager(?) type would have to decide. Ripoff - I say ripoff because seems clear to me someone SHOULD HAVE MARKED UP the price before the 25% sale came out, so the next cost is about the same as the original $20. That's a ripoff ... and probably illegal. Too bad because it confirms everything I feel about BBB - should be a fun great experience, instead overpriced ripoff! Wonder why they are having "profit issues".

Jonathan Walker: I just have to give a special shout-out to the ladies in the front and on the floor for the outstanding customer service while being busy! They helped me find what I couldn’t see nor find TWICE while making sure I got the product I wanted, a product recommendation, and a great deal. Although this chair is no longer under warranty, Jeremy Schneider, of Sofa ETC, came to her home within two-weeks of my phone call. He made the quick repair to the frame and noticed the arms needed adjusting and tightened them. Additionally, he offered to deliver the tool needed if the arm rest becomes lose gain. He also demonstrated how to use the footstool to recline properly ... something my Aunt hadn't known until that home visit. I am very appreciative of Mr. Schneider and the customer service he provided on behalf of Sofas ETC to my Aunt.

Mikia Heard (Meek2442): The sales woman was helpful in offering feedback and recording the product numbers for the item I requested. She was also helpful in choosing additional catalogs for me to look through and was patient enough to sit with me throughout my contemplative tenure. The owner was also helpful in sharing some insight about their products and floor room. I recommend coming into the store. It has a big floor space so you are surely to find something that you like but what brought me to this particular store was there availability of a specific product and the current location near Baltimore.

Tere Hentges: I made my second precedent sofa purchase today in Parkville. MD. I couldn't be any happier. Customer service, from making an appointment by phone to finalizing the purchase, was above expectation. Debby was, as were all the store personnel, were above expectation in their performance. I am more than pleased as I knew I would be. So in-store shopping for my second sofa in Maryland. The first sofa now resides in northern New Jersey with my twin toddler grandchildren and, after 3 years there, is holding up extremely well. I know this sofa will be no different. Today's purchase was a cakewalk... Thanks for being there!

Paul Hawver: My wife and I went into the Sofas ETC store on Jappa Road, looking for brand of sofa that we were interested in. We met with Debbie Kent, who explained all of the pros and cons of that brand. She then showed us other brands of sofas on display and explained the pros and cons of those brands. She educated us on the various types and grades of leathers available. Even though we had planned on visiting other stores, due to Debbie’s friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable services that she provided to us during our visit to the store, we made a decision to make the purchase on the spot. Peggy Lucien: I can't say enough about M.C. Interiors... Every interaction was pleasant. There were a few issues that came up as far as fabric availability, and a frame on one footstool was broken. I was reached immediately to change the fabric and to explain the foot stool issue. They are honest and thorough. These chairs were my grandmother's and then my mom's. They are updated and fit back into the family decor. I'm sure they're smiling from Heaven now.

Shaquita Wilson: A++. Had no idea they existed & was looking for a more reputable fabric store nearby, which has closed. Came looking for fabric and they helped me pick an item closest to what I needed. Was done with my purchase in less than five minutes! Two staff assisted me (when one couldn’t find my item, initially, the other rep (Kevin) did. Friendly, professional, great team work, & helpful. I will certainly return for drapery, custom window treatments, & upholstery projects.

Unal Family: Stay away from this business. They have no concept of customer service. They would not accept that they did poor job and used poor quality material. Just stay away.
Response: We did offer customer service to have you test 3 different types of firmness (soft, medium, and firm), your foam firmness is selected by you and then come back to us 3.5 months later with a complain that you don’t like the foam. Then using this baseless complain to insist discounts on a new firmer foam. To make it worse, are you leaving us a bad review?

Khadijah Tarawally: Terrible customer service. The owner just seems to always be on edge. Also a very high turnover rate. Edit: Never been an employee in this establishment but I have visited and also family members. We all noticed different employees working here every time we’ve came. Again, owner seems angry and upset!

Did you mean our employee's turnover rate? That has nothing to do with your service and it's none of your business. Lexy McCauley: Great selection and service! This store has everything you need. I was surprised to see how much stock they have for beauty and wellness items. There’s a wide selection for each option and they have sale items as well. Although some things are a little pricey, the sales are worth it if you go at the right time. They have curbside pickup now and a lot of options for shopping. There are bathrooms once you enter, too! There’s a good number of staff on the floor that will help you find things.

Jasim Ahmed: I asked for help. They seem to be lazy and not helpful and if you ask questions regarding the items, they get agitated and it seems like they don’t want to be bothered with questions regarding the items that I was looking for. They also didn’t apologize and seem like they don’t care at all about the business or the customer whatsoever. They were also gossiping while customers were roaming around. It was very hard for me to locate a person as well to help me out. I moved to the area and was prepared to buy thousand dollar worth of goods. I never shopped at Bed Bath and Beyond and I don’t think will be returning there after this experience.

Sourabh Choudhary: Haughty store manager at this location who is completely indifferent to the customer pains due to the miscommunication between BBB online reps, in store sales reps and the manager herself. I seem go have found the reason to why so many of their stores have been closed recently - they do not give a thought to the customer experience and just go by their version of rules - which by the way differ as per the date time and the sales rep present at the counter. I had a gift from a friend purchased from BBB who did not get the gift receipt. Since I already had that product I checked with my friend who in turn checked with the BBB helpline if the product may be returned to a store location without the gift receipt and they said yes. I visited this store and the associate processed the return but then asked for my driving license - a fair request since I was returning it without receipt. I was not carrying my wallet that time so had to cancel and go back. Next day I return to the store and lo the store manager changes the rules - no returns without receipt!!! Had I been in her place I would have processed the return just for the hassle caused - even if I assume that all others lied to me and only store manager was telling the correct policy. But her haughty indifferent attitude made me promise not to buy anything from this chain store - which should not be an issue since they anyways seem to mark up their products.

Micha Webb: They only have self checkouts. Everytime you scan an item the screen says wait for assistance. It takes forever to check out. They charge you for bags also. If a company cuts out employees and customer service they should have an easy self check put system.

Robert Cardoni: What do you need? Cause they probably have it. The staff are all extremely nice and helpful. There’s a self gift wrapping area for gifts and be sure to check out the coffee sampling station! And don’t forget your coupons

cemora harrison: The store Manager was very short staff & yet still she helped me place an online order for my towel sets which were on sale. She was very professional, friendly and could multiple task. She gets an A+ for customer service. I wish she could train others in retail stores how to do their job because she was a gem 💎. I will definitely visit her store again in the future 🙂.

On the first floor, you will find an Apple store, but on the second floor there are two main exhibits: The Big Picture, with great panorama pictures (before smartphones), and a room with a timeline on DC history. Totally recommend to go and, please, if you love it as I did, leave a voluntary donation.
