Anacostia Park: what do users think?

Carolyn Grant: This is an underrated park, it has lots to offer. I took my class off preschool down here and just playing they had fun. People who know just know.... fishing ,roller skating ring, basketball, picnic, nature watching, walking, playgrounds. Rowing, Kayaking and so much more.

Nathan Lapin: Great trail to walk or bike. Has nice stopping points so one can overlook the river. We even saw a helicopter land nearby!

Austin Graff: Let me count the ways I LOVE Anacostia Park: 1) It's one of the best running trails in all of DC. It stretches for miles along the Anacostia River and the path is well kept for runners. 2) There's a lot of green space to picnic and enjoy nature. 3) There are hidden gems throughout from murals under highways and even a famous skating ring. 4) It's great for kids. One of DC's best playgrounds complete with a pirate ship is in the park. I could go on and on so instead how about you head on over to Anacostia Park and check it out for yourself. It's a GREAT spot!

Margaritta L Martin: Washington DC has changed since I left the metropolitan area when I lived in Maryland It was my favorite park to go too and relax or grill near the river I asked my sister who lives in Dc did Anacostia Park and other Parks I visited existed and she told me all still do

Jessica Light: Nice little spot for a doggy play date

Brian Burrell (Big B): There can be heavy foot traffic. But good for a bike ride or walk sf cookout. Starting to be kept clean often

A'nya-Rae Ebb: I've enjoyed this wonderful park for 40+ years. Looking forward to the new amenities!

Richard Newman: Not the park I grew up with back in the day. My hats off to those who made what it is today 100% better. not the feds . everyday people !

L. Butler: I love Anacostia Park because it's a walking distance from my neighborhood to walk for miles without interruptions. It's a great place to walk and to jog while watching beautiful sceneries...species of variety birds flying, boats cruising, Rowers rowing, athletics of basketball, football, soccer, fishing, rollerblading and families celebrating.

K Wallace: When that weather gets warm in the park

Smithsonian National Zoological Park: what do users think?

Alex Pierce: If you are a local or just visiting from out of town, the National zoo is a must go-to location. They have a wide array of animals to sight see and interactive learning activities throughout the park. Entrance is free for everyone, but you should note you do have to download tickets before entering. You can bring your own food in, no alcohol is allowed in from outside but is sold within the park. As a local, I come here for the experience and also to walk when it is warm outside. Parking is slightly a hassle as you have to find parallel parking on the narrow streets of DC, the zoo also has parking but it is $30 per car. The shows are now back, which i really enjoyed this interactive bird show hole I was there. My only suggestions are removing the lines for indoor exhibits. Masks are not required nor is social distancing within the park, but they limit the amount of people in some of the indoor exhibits causing extensive lines which took about 15-20 minutes to get inside. Also, the bathroom facilities were not clean and did not have paper towels. Additionally, there was hardly an security and no one checking bags at entrance. Just a heads up I also went on Memorial Day weekend, in the morning there wasn’t much of a crowd but after 12 there were so many people it was difficult to walk. I would recommend during the weekday or coming at opening if you want less crowd. Overall though I had a wonderful experience and will be back.

Sassy Sauce: The zoo is great and we really enjoyed the experience. You have to request tickets ahead of your visit. You can print them or it can be scanned on your phone/tablet. Not overly crowded when we arrived around 11 am. Some of the vendors were closed but for the most part everything was open and easily accessible. You have to walk a lot so I advise parent to bring strollers and any buggy/cart for the smaller kids. I overheard some younger people complaining about the strollers but it’s a lifesaver during the visit. There are carts you can rent as well but bring your own to save money. Also, bring your own food, drinks, snacks etc. The prices for food and souvenirs isn’t crazy expensive but we managed with our own snacks. We only bought ice cream for the kids and a small toy. Definitely recommend for young kids and all the young at heart. The animals were delightful to see.

Melissa C: You need to make reservations if you want to visit. I reserved my tickets a week in advance. I left my car parked in the parking garage and then took public transportation to the zoo. Street parking around the zoo is limited. Once in, I just took in the breathtaking environment. It was organized, clean and you can just walk around looking at the animals and the people. It was truly a lovely experience.

Aaron Ochse: Really wonderful experience. Great zoo. 6 year old niece had a blast. Pandas were playful and active. Other animals really diverse and beautiful. It’s a pleasant experience and the zoo is laid out really nicely and clean. Perfect day! Tickets free as well but book in advance.

Sherlock Holmes: Great place and it's free. Kids will love it. Ample vending machines n places to relax. Parking could be a challenge but you can find street parking meters around the zoo. Overall best place for the entire family and a good amount of walking. Must visit !

Bianca Chang: There are many animals living in this zoo. Panda is one of the many highlights. Most of the walking path is covered by trees to avoid direct sunshine. There are many chairs and tables to allow visitors to rest or catch a bite. It's clean and orderly. The animals all look healthy and happy. We were lucky to run into some feeding times. It's amazing to see animals' food and how they eat. Due to advance, online ticket reservations, it's not crowded and parking is not a problem. It's a family friendly place to visit. I highly recommend it for any ages.😃

Tiffany L: Excellent zoo and the best part its free! Wide pathways and the best animals to see. The pandas were the best. If you go early it is not crowded at all. Many restrooms and snacks throughout entire zoo. Our favorite were the pandas and the bears. We will definitely be back! The maps are posted but not handed out so print a copy if you want before you go.

Kimberly Menjivar: I love love love this zoo. I had the greatest experience being here. Get there early and wear your most comfortable shoes. Lots of walking. It cost 30 dollars to park your car inside. Make sure you reserve your ticket. Don’t forget to do that. I drove all the way to this zoo because this is the only place close to me that have PANDAS!!!! Yes pandas. Any panda lovers I recommend taking the drive to go see them in person. Everything is section out nicely. We ate the bbq food at the food center and it was really good. Try to get food at a decent time because their food runs out. Highly recommend this zoo. Take your family and kids !!!!

Julie Helms: Lovely shade for the walkways throughout the zoo. Food and drink stations strategically placed so you can get something easily. Smooth walkways so good for strollers and wheelchairs. Some interesting animals I had never seen in person like the ant eaters and Pandas. The elephant sanctuary had a nice interactive facility.

Leilani-Z: Great experience! Beautiful zoo with lots of exhibits and educational areas. We parked onsite. The process was easy. We arrived around 9:30am and it didn't start getting crowded until around 11:30-12. The best part was the Pandas. There are so many different areas to view them.

Nationals Park: what do users think?

Kyle D: Beautiful ballpark. Wide open concourses and plenty of good choices (very pricey though but that’s expected at at a ballpark no matter where you go.) Convenient location close to the Metrorail station. Coming from Boston, this ballpark doesn’t compare to the charm, history, and character of Fenway Park but it is nonetheless a great place to watch a game and it seemed like no matter where you sit, you have a great view.

Elliot Schumacher: National's Park is a classic ballpark, with no crazy field dimensions or other gimmicks used at other ballparks. It is super easy to get to. The metro rail has a stop within sight of the center field entrance. While the Nats do use dynamic ticket pricing to raise costs when playing league rivals or on certain weekends, there are still plenty of affordable options that still give a great view of the game.

George: Great first experience here in DC at National's Stadium. We are Astros fans and had a great experience the past two days, first day sitting lower level for a night game and 2nd day sitting upper level in the shade for a day game. Any/all staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We ate everything from pizza, chicken tenders, steak of the union sandwich, french fries, hot dogs, and Dippin Dots. Everything we had to eat was good and there were multiple places to choose from, lines were never long when we went. Kids had a blast and we made memories to last a lifetime. Our hotel was within short walking distance which was very convenient getting to and coming back from the game.

Anthony Rinella: Nationals Park is a beautiful stadium, we bought tickets to sit in the PNC Diamond suite and while it was a nice experience and you have great views of the game it doesn't compare to the Legends seats at Yankee stadium. The food options within in the suite are good but not great. In any event, that is a beautiful park to watch a ballgame.

M. Scott Zimmerman: Great view from almost all seats although smallish for 6ft 1 and 230lbs. Food adequate but pricey and varies in quality between vendors. Love the concourse round the main level and the diamond club is nice.

Archbishop Dr Smith Abrams Almasi MDiv DD THD PhD: DC National's Baseball Park...Step into Washington, DC - USA...with 5,378,000 people who now call this region home...according to the 2020 US Census report. Just check it out and tell me what you think… Let's make it plain...straight talk. "DC " has a new makeover from Chocolate City to Ivy City. A new face of life is spreading all over the DC/Maryland/Virginia-Metropolitan area. Real Estate is king in DC.location, location, location. If you own property in DC don't sell...prices are going up in 2022 you are sitting on a diamond in the rough. Demand is high...and more are coming down Hi95. Let me show you the way. What can I say about this groundbreaking development? It is pleasant to look at. Good look, and good feeling for this new community. Upscale, quiet surrounding. 24/7/365. Close proximity to all transportation points: taxi, service to first class limo, as well as, top-shelf concierge service, metro bus, metro rail, to MARC Train, on to your plane… catching your flight right on time... Reagan International Airport, (BWI Baltimore/Washington, DC International Airport), and even Dulles International Airport. Pet walking trail, everything including for your best friend. Pet park, pet grooming nearby. Spectacular, spacious, fresh atmosphere... This is the feeling of excellence. Be the first one to rent or lease one of these dynamic spaces for your home or for your business. Very nice accommodation, state of the art amenities, galore landscaping. Just beautiful. Upcoming architectural design building for 2022. The surrounding area is also great with plenty of amenities such as shops and popular restaurants.

Cindy Luetkemeier: Great Game! We love the Nats even though they lost today, they put up a good fight!! Pizza was good & the beers were cold!

Christian Matlock: First time at this ball park. I didn’t have a ticket and didn’t know where to get one from. There was a helpful young lady at the front that walked me all the way around the stadium to help me get a ticket. Once I was in, someone greeted me from guest services and gave me a first time certificate and welcome pack. Such a great experience.

Juanita Barnes: I was there for Enchant, a winter display of lights. It also happened to be bring your dog night. Lots of people, cute and sweet, friendly dogs, hot coca, and vendors. Personally, it was nice and worth it, but a one and done kind of event for me.

Henry Garcia: Love the Stadium. And I love the atmosphere there! The people are so nice and the fans are very friendly.

Barcroft Park: what do users think?

Hind KH: I love it. I just discovered it since it’s near my apartment. It has place to gather with friends and path for walking and cycling with the beautiful sound of the stream.

Damien Lawrence: Often crowded but great park. Only 1 shelter.

Cristin Harber: Fantastic facility. The staff goes well beyond what you might expect and the instructors are knowledgeable and excellent with kids. The indoor gymnasium is clean and offers an excellent space for all levels of gymnastics. An upper level has seating for parents. There is plenty of well lit parking and outdoor space for various athletic programs. The space is well kept and a large expanse of sports programs are offered for all levels.

Nizar Farsakh: Lovely little Park with narrow trunk trees and lots of shade. There is even a playground on both ends for little kids. It's not very big but big enough for the neighborhood.

Beth Bolish: Who could ever believe that you can find such a gem within the city. Trails are well maintained by the city, the park is wonderful and when you are there you can imagine being in the forest instead of a major city.

Ree A: nice park for walking , playing with various sitting area, for BBQ and walking.also, you can celebrate in the covered area. I like that provide a free wifi .A lot of 🐿there.

Paul Donaldson: It had been many years since I had visited this park. I was attending my grandson's baseball game. What a surprise for me to see this spacious well maintained park again. There are soccer and baseball field and tennis courts. A large parking garage is reassuring that you will always find a parking space.

Carey Helmick: Beautiful park! Almost completely shaded by gorgeous trees, and the creek is just the right adventure level for little ones. I want to have my son's third birthday here in the fall.

J Michael Daniel: Excellent sports facility for baseball and soccer in South Arlington. The baseball fields are generally in good shape and the facilities are well-kept. The fields have lights, so games can be played at night. The community center there has an extensive gymnastics area as well as basketball.

Live, Love, Laugh!: Beautiful scenary, nice trails where you dont feel secluded - my lil girl loves this park :)

Six Flags America: what do users think?

Joshua Russell: We started coming here in the Fall of 2021 and decided to purchase season pass, they are very affordable. We have come a few times and I have been really impressed. They have different themes through the year which is nice to see how they decorate and celebrate. We have been to Halloween, Christmas and just went to the Fiesta theme. The wait times were really fast or nonexistent for all the rides. They had water sprinklers going which was good because it was so hot! Our family enjoyed all the rides throughout the day. There is always a staff member nearby ready to help which was really great to see and we saw a lot of people cleaning the park throughout the day. I do wish there was more mobile food ordering available though, when we were looking only one location was offering mobile orders, so hopefully that will grow. Overall great park for the family!
Response: We appreciate the review. Thank you for taking the time. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Alexandra Gross: Was very pleasantly surprised! Thought it was going to be a small cute park, but there was SO much to do there! The performers were absolutely fantastic and so talented in so many different shows! The park was very well maintained and all the staff were kind and friendly. I'm from NJ and this Six Flags definitely has mine beat!
Response: Thanks for the great review. Have a great day!

Tim Bergstrom: Great place to take kids in DC for a break from museums and tours. I enjoy museums and tours quite a bit, but let’s be honest, for kids, they can be little bit like a church service. Six Flags gave my kids and me a break from the usual and gave them a chance to blow off steam. Our favorite rides were Superman, Bat Wing, Joker’s Jinx and the Firebird. Have fun.
Response: Glad to learn your experience was a positive one. Hope to see you again soon!

Rittik Bhowmik: Great experience. Strong suggestion is to get the tickets online before visiting, there is almost always a long queue for tickets. Most of the rides were usually not that busy, so everyone can finish all the rides at-least ones, and can even go for seconds if interested.
Response: Thank you for the review. Have a wonderful day!

Jeremiah Gore: Needs another solid coaster as Superman Ride of Steel is great but where is the number 2 coaster? Some good rides throughout the park including a fun coaster built in 1917...The Wild One. By far this Six Flags has the friendliest staff of any Six Flags park... including multiple manager level employees we met while walking around the park.
Response: Hi, thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of your experience. I am pleased to hear that our team made your experience pleasant and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

pam wright: Rides were barley open, lazy river, the pool with the purple slide, the purple & green slide, renegade rapids, penguin blizzard, shipwreck falls, & more ALL we’re NOT OPEN! I don’t understand why these rides are not open. You pay your money to come here, but it’s not worth it because more than half of there rides are not operating. What a shame Not to mention I have diamond elite membership, I pay 20$ extra per month for what idk? Need to cancel that! Update 6/28/2022 im going to change my rating from 1 star ⭐️ to four stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I came back here again to give them another chance. Can you believe it after maybe 1-2 years the finally opened the lazy river.. Wow renegade rapids, penguin blizzard, shipwreck falls, was opened today. It’s good to arrive early get a good spot, we ordered food it was ready and condiments was available. 🤩 However, the staff there are really young and the don’t know how to talk to people & families. They all act like they don’t want to work.
Response: We appreciate the review. Thank you for taking the time. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Terri Young: If you want to be able to ride the rides without a long wait go early during the week.. We were able to ride the rides several time without a long wait park is not that crowded when u go early it was a nice experience 😉. By the time we were ready to go the park was getting a bit crowded....
Response: Thank you for the rating. If you’d like to share any details about your experience, we are always looking for ways to improve.

Shah Md Mayen Uddin Chistee: This a great family fun place. There are so many rides that you will never get bored. I enjoyed most of the rides I took. You can take your kids there and they will love it. I recommend buying online entry ticket and parking pass. This will save some time for you.
Response: Hi Shah Md Mayen Uddin, we’re thrilled to get this kind of feedback. Thank you for taking the time to review us. Hope to see you again soon!

tammy mcilhaney: Wait ?? There are rides here ?? Could’ve fooled me!! Everything is closed! Workers cranky! Burger was a joke! Shops closed “register” issue. Maybe 1/4 of the food stands open. Maybe 1/2 the rides open. Got stuck on the Superman! The one operator for a ride abandoned her post because of a spider!

Christopher Lew: tl;dr: Relatively inexpensive tickets for a pretty fun time, although the park does its very best to nickel and dime you. Park is pretty small, but can definitely do the entire park in 1 day (depending on ride lines). Rides - 3/5: The roller coasters were very fun! The wooden roller coasters look like they could fall apart at any moment, and are so rickety it made our party very nauseous. My favorite was the batwing, and the waiting times were not crazy. It could be the time of year but the average wait time for the rides were ~ 5 minutes. Getting to the park - 4/5: Buying tickets online was very straightforward and you are paying for both Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor which is the water park. Very easy access from DC (only a 30 minute drive). Parking online is cheaper than at the gate, but when we went the POS stations were down, so they let us park for free ($30 normally)! Lots of parking with good markings to remember where you parked. Very little security at the door which was kinda concerning, but we were able to bring in snacks. Food - 1/5: We were very nauseous from some of the roller coasters, and wanted to buy some ginger ale, and it was literally 6 dollars a bottle. There is a mildly concerning food stall called ChopSix (like six flags) with "Chinese" font that served knock-off panda express at double the price. Very overpriced. We kept food in our car, and went outside the park (we could reenter) to eat.

National Mall: what do users think?

LISA HANEY: It's a beautiful place with numerous monuments and museums based on the History of America. Very interesting and informative. Can easily spend a day here by just strolling through the entire area visiting all the memorials. There's a lot of walking involved. It would be a pleasant experience. If you decide to visit the museums, it may take more than a day. So plan accordingly.

Saiprabhu B: It's a beautiful place dotted with numerous monuments and museums throwing light on the History of America. Very interesting and informative. Can easily spend a day here by just strolling through the entire area visiting all the memorials. There's a lot of walking involved, but if weather holds good (not so hot/cold), it would be a pleasant experience. It was slightly drizzling when we were there and so we loved all the walking and could go on and on without getting tired. If you decide to visit the museums, it may take more than a day. So plan accordingly.

Warman Hall: It is simply amazing to be in one spot where you can take a Sunday stroll around a beautiful lake and blooming orchard of trees while seeing some of the most important and stunning monuments in the world! I only wish I had more time on my visit to simply walk around and take in the sights. I got to visit mid-morning on a Thursday in early March so the crowds were not bad at all.

Dr. Michael Shur: National mall is one of the most interesting and enjoyable places to visit in DC and, actually, in the entire country. Museums second to none, great memorials, and lots of tourists. The only blemish, truly embarrassing for our nation, is the toilet facility next to the Lincoln Memorial. Many establishments in Washington, DC, have serious problems with plumbing and sanitation. But this one is even worse than average. My wife and I visited the women an men facility, respectively. The lady’s room had a long queue (that took about 45 minutes) to reach one of three available stalls. The door of one of them was broken. The filth of the place according to my wife’s report could only be matched by the men’ facility with broken facets and suspicious liquid on the floor difficult to avoid. Not even restrooms in Central Park in NYC come close. And you are really well advised to avoid those at all costs if at all possible. --

Gee Queue: They do a pretty good job of maintaining the grounds despite the best efforts of the populace to screw them up. The scale of some of the monuments is difficult to comprehend until you are there in person. I recommend a night tour. They are much more stunning when lit up.

Leilani-Z: Full day of exercise and definitely could spend more days here. We parked at a nearby parking garage, and by the time we got back to the car at the end of the day, we had logged 9 miles. Beautiful and clean, so much to see and learn about. We went to almost all of the monuments and two of the museums. The ice cream / food trucks are great, but the music they play should be banned 🙈

Nikkicole8890: My boyfriend took me here for my first time in DC and I loved it! It was so beautiful and I really enjoyed walking around and seeing all of the monuments and statues! I would love to go back again one day!

Ashok Patel: National Mall is not a “Shopping Mall”. It is a National Park containing iconic monuments and memorials of some of the greatest people and events who shaped America as a nation. This is called the front yard of America and a symbol of democratic values. This is a green lush park between United States Capitol building to Potomac River. Every citizen of US should visit and explore these incredible memorials like Lincoln Memorial, MLK Jr Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Washington Monument, World War 2 Memorial and the list goes on and on. Park rangers offer variety of programs and activities free of charge, otherwise you can explore and enjoy the park in your way and pace. It’s lawns and pathways are mostly crowded by school children, joggers and visitors and tourists from all over the world. This is where the history is made and witnessed. The American forefathers and heroes are honored here who paid ultimate sacrifice for the country. This is the national stage where people gather and movements take place and their voices heard. Everyone should wander here in the tree-lined pathways and take in the scenery and history of America. There is lot of walking involved. This is open 24 hours and you can visit during anytime and enjoy the different beauty at different times.

Joe Hughes: This was our first time in Washington DC. First 3 days it was very hot and humid but over all we had a great vacation. The National Mall was interesting having everything pretty close together in walking distance. It was even more beautiful at night. We are glad that we went.

scott bowman: The museums are always great to visit. Masks are required in all museums, and there are bag checks at all of them, too. There are not many water fountains and no water bottle filling stations in the museums we visited. Hand sanitizing stations are available. There are plenty of food vendors/ food trucks around the Mall. This Is Not A Shopping Mall. This is the strip from the Capitol Building to the Lincoln Memorial, called The Mall.

Long Bridge Park: what do users think?

Ajith Jadhav: Airport and railway lines on one side, National monument and long bridge aquatic center on the other side, & surrounded by soccer fields and Boeing office & crystal city skyline. It take you into a whole different world..! Must see places in DC Metro region.

Tenny Kristiana: New in the neighborhood and found this park. It is a nice park. You can walk or run or just chillin there, watching plane take off from DCA

Rebecca “Bex”: Stopped here because we had some time to kill before our flight back home from a family trip. The kids loved this park! There are three separate play areas all with rubber flooring to protect from tumbles and falls. Very unique and imaginative layouts where the kids are left to their imaginations in the best of ways. Very clean restrooms made available to the public. Finely manicured beautiful fields and ample parking. Also as an added bonus their are many friendly dog owners with well trained pups nearby that are happy to let you take a pet or two 😊

Jonás Porcar Ferrer: Great park for plenty of activities: walking or running along its 2 loops (the longest one is 1.2 miles including a long elevated walkway parallel to the railway), sitting on the grass (super well taken care of), or bringing your kids to play at its playgrounds. Special mention to the fantastic soccer fields (3) and the new aquatic center which looks amazing from the outside. Parking is easy.

Michael Portman: Great linear walkway style park for walking/biking/etc. Next to an active railway and under the approach path for DCA so also a good place to bring kids who find that kind of stuff fun. The new aquatic center looks quite nice, but confirm with yourself if the long term passes are worth the price.

Mr. C: Beautiful area right on the water, great fields, lots of free parking, very walkable, family friendly, and convenient bathrooms. Some of the fields (they are all turf) need some TLC and have some gashes in them The bathrooms are quite dated and have non working handicap buttons/hand dryers. But overall a very fun family friendly place to come and hang out

Dr. Gonzo: Great set of fields beautiful turf. A bit hard to get to once you past the pentagon. Once you find it you are good. Just an amazing field. Night games with planes literally 100 feet from your head is something to experience.

Aránzazu Ascunce: Affordable. Clean. Friendly. Spacious. Gorgeous 360 views of DC, especially Potomac River and Pentagon. Stunning sunsets. Pools look amazing but often full with swim teams. Absolutely love the group workout room. Kid pool looks like a blast. Easy parking too!

Wade Family VIBEZ: My family was looking for a park that stayed open late. The Park closed at 11pm, it was well lit and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Beautiful view of the city!! Great place to walk your dogs as well.

Antonio S: Amazing, expansive park. I imagine the huge soccer fields get used because the lights are on 24/7 with or without players on them. It is close but set back in by Boeing Headquarters which means only serious, committed swimmers, soccer players and other serious athletes meet here. Great views of planes taking off and landing. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

Huntley Meadows Park: what do users think?

Jennifer Bowling: Like many of the other reviews- this is a cool spot. I mainly like coming here with my 4&5 year olds. We often invite other little friends with us. It’s a safe spot for kids to explore with many opportunities to see wildlife. The parking is limited on the weekends. There’s a few bathroom opportunities just before you get on the trail. There is a long boardwalk with lots of fun things to look at. We enjoy this spot!

Abby Thompson: Excellent bird watching! The park has a variety of environments (forest, marsh, meadows) that support a variety of bird species. I saw mostly other birders and photographers during my walk. There are two sides to the park, and they don’t have an official connector. So plan ahead and make sure you drive to the side you want! The park is very well-maintained and the trails are wide and groomed.

m rivera: Very nice spot to go for a walk and immerse yourself into nature. Much better than virtual world that is trying to come about in the future. Nature is beautiful and as humans we need to step out of our homes to appreciate its beauty. Bring a canvas, notebook, camera to capture this lovely place essence. Bring also a friend who will feel peace and will have a wonderful time.

Laura Inglis: Lots to see, but even if there isn't much wildlife around it's still a nice area to walk around. Plenty of signage with information including the wildlife you might see. Lots of photographers like this area, kost of them are also happy to answer your questions and point out what they're looking for. Note that dogs are not allowed in the boardwalk. There are a few lots where you can park, the lot by the Visitor Center has the most spaces.

MkMG09: - park is free. - parking is limited. - have a few porta potties. - park is nice, quite and a good place to Walk around and see some small wildlife. -place is pretty big, could spend a few hours here walking depending on how fast you walk and how busy they are. - seen turtles, birds, frogs, snakes, fish, ect. - lots of photos opportunities. - nice atmosphere. - overall a nice place in general to get away.

Laura Inglis: A couple of different trails, including a boardwalk area. No dogs are allowed on the boardwalk. If you take your time, you might spot frogs, Turtles, ducks, herons and hawks. Muskrats, beaver and deer may also be around as well as a variety of birds. Stop at the Visitor Center to learn more about the wildlife. Parking is limited and there are signs warning of car breakins so use common sense.

Cas Crim: Very well maintained, I went on a Monday morning in the summer and it was very busy with lots of strollers. Seems like a very popular outing for people with young children. Lots of wildlife that's easy to see like toads and turtles and birds.

Katiria Quijada: This is the kind of place you never get tired of. You can come again and again and always see something different. This is what nature should look like when we will along beside it. Very clean, bathrooms indoors as well as portajohns. And the education center there is very informative even if you're just passing through to use the restroom, you're bound to get some facts! Absolutely adore this place and wish we had more like it in Savannah, Ga!!

Jessica Long: Just beautiful especially with the fall colors changing. There is wide life like turtles and birds to see. The boardwalk goes over the water, which is awesome! FYI: there are port-a-potties when the visitor center isn’t open.

Kelly M.: My husband and I randomly decided to come here on a few afternoon for a walk and were pleasantly surprised. There were multiple, well-maintained paths that you could definitely take a stroller or wheelchair. There was some wildlife to I serve and a few photographers with the most expensive lenses I think I’ve ever seen. And who doesn’t love a nice boardwalk path over water? Highly recommend

Cabin John Regional Park: what do users think?

Roel Feys: Nice park for kids of all ages! The highlight is the small train ($3.50/person). Make sure to check the schedule, as the train only runs certain times of the year. Also, the playground gets busy on weekends, so plan accordingly.

Myra Jacobs: We reserved one of the picnic shelters for a festive gathering. The park amenities are very well maintained and it was easy to set up and clear up using a nearby parking area. There was ample seating at several tables. We did not use the bbq grill. There were restrooms a few minutes walk away Our party was blessed with wonderful weather but the picnic spot was covered, so we'd have been able to go ahead even if it had rained a bit.

Jeffrey Blander: We LOVE Cabin John. The playground has been an oasis of fun for our family for many years. It is a treasured spot for kids to play all year round. Where infants or old kids, it is a place to swing, slide, explore, and imagine. Also lots if fun to ride the train when operating and plan a picnic too! Of course the Starbucks at the nearby mall is a parent favorite on the way, especially Saturday mornings.

Big Joe: Cabin John Park is georgious and impeccably maintained by park staff personnel. One section with numerous play areas for children has eight restrooms with one of them open during winter. The other section has a beautiful and wide circular walking path with two restrooms that are closed for winter. This section also has pavilions that people can reserve for picnics and events as well as a beloved train ride. Furthermore, there is a much longer, and more rustic path that encircles the entire park for those who seek a more adventurous walk with some hills and a beautiful stream. My wife and I, and I am sure many others, are thankful that one restroom (in the children's section) is kept open during winter as in previous years all of the restrooms were closed. Plenty of parking and I occasionally see cars from other states there.

Robert F: This park in Potomac, Maryland has all the facilities needed. There are several playgrounds, areas for group activities, walking trails and lots more. There is plenty of parking.

Jo Jo: Nice hiking trail and nice playground for big and little kids. Mainly stroller friendly

Rebeca Cabral: Cute environment supplied with restrooms, picnic shelters, party room, space for dog exercise, and for a $3,5 ticket you can enjoy a train ride throughout the park.

Ny'Asia Brooks: Was quite fun. Was lots to do for the little ones. The train ride was the cherry on top. And a more than reasonable $5 for anyone older than 2. Definitely coming back.

Bharath Varna: Nice park with a lot of picnic shelters. Ideal for gatherings. A nice train ride when you visit with kids. Kids love the train ride.

Vakhtang Koroghlishvili: I love this place. Everything in one place! There are great playgrounds for kids, nice trails, beautiful landscape. There are good mountain bicycle trails too. It's beautiful even if it's winter. Glorious!

George Washington's Mount Vernon: what do users think?

JoJo Q: We visited George Washington's Mansion last weekend at Mount Vernon, VA. We had a great time. It's a must see and good for all ages. The mansion and location itself is well preserved and maintained. I love how the tour guides are knowledgeable about the historic place, they are friendly too and answers your questions well. Don't forget to stop by the museum too, they have a lot of interesting historic items that they use back in the days. And good information about The Washington. If ever you got hungry, they have a restaurant right before the entrance that you can also try, or the food court upon exiting the museum. They also have a souvenir shop upon exiting the museum. Overall, We had a great experience.

Mark Wells: Incredible! If you can go, Go! Great for all ages. We took a family of 4, ages 10-40 and everyone enjoyed it. History and information galore that you didn't know you wanted to know, but you absolutely do! We went on George Washington's Birthday celebration which provided so much entertainment. The museum and 4D movie is a must! The mansion tour is worth the time. I'm not sure if Washington himself is there all the time, but meeting him on the estate was a fun surprise.

David Cardone: If you’re a history buff then this is a must. Great little tour of the interior of the mansion with other available tours to add on. They do offer a National Treasure tour that provides some interesting facts about the mansion and grounds in relation to the movie. This tour takes you into the basement of the mansion whereas the $2 mansion tour does not. Beautiful gift shops and there is food available. Good for kids. Check out the Inn next door to entrance for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Rodricka Elliott: Great for a nature walk. I did some birdwatching while there and enjoyed the scenery while there. A lot of open space to have a picnic after seeing the house and grounds. Overall, it’s a great day all day activity for the family. I did go during the day on a weekday so it was not too crowded.

Green Angel: Great services, very helpful staff, good for all ages. I learned that Washington real body was transferred to the new tomb. The tomb of George Washington on the right along with his wife Martha on the left and 25 other families members are entombed there. The gift shop is huge, they are two sides for shopping. One for decoration stuffs cost up to $2k+, another one for souvenirs gift. Spending about 3hours to walk around and learning history about Father of our country.

Darwin Parker: What a great place to visit! George Washington worked hard to serve and improve life. It was amazing to see where he lived, his tomb, and his legacy. Side note- my son passed out in front of the entrance and the staff was incredibly helpful and prompt to take care of him and get an ambulance to come check him out. The staff checked on him throughout the day multiple times to make sure he was okay.

Stephens Basement: I have always wanted to visit My. Vernon but for some reason never did till yesterday. I am so glad I did. It was a very well maintained national landmark. I did think the entrance fee was a little high but they provide a free audio self tour and the tour of the house is included in the price. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have a habit of asking lots of questions and they had an answer every time. George Washington was an outstanding man and leader.

Diana Hidalgo Díaz: The location looks very well preserved and taken care of. The tour guide we had during the house tour was knowledgeable and friendly. The museum was remarkable too. The souvenir shop is big and has a wide variety of items to purchase. I had a very good experience overall!

Brian Cummings: Large and well kept. You can easily spend an entire day. There are a number of far flung attractions. The distillery requires riding the shuttle or driving. The mansion tour costs extra. On busy days, it's wise to book in advance. It is very nice, but calling it guided is a slight exaggeration. You move from room to room with experts who may offer a thirty second introduction and then are available to answer questions.

Virginia VanKeulen: Went on a Tuesday in May. Several school groups but they were easy to avoid. Otherwise not very busy. Learned a lot about George Washington. Really enjoyed the enslaved people tour, the house tour, Martha Washington, the fifer and the beautiful flowers. Rangers were plentiful, helpful and informative. Definitely worth a visit.

NOVA Parks: what do users think?

Julia Morris: Evil money hungry organization only looking for ‘donations’. Would like to see this itemized list of donations and how they are being spent. Seems very illegal. Will never go to Medeowlark gardens again. Also staff is so rude and morally bankrupt. Should be renamed the garden of hell. They do not care about the public or nature. The only green NOVA parks cares about is money. Disgusting.

Anna Anderson: Our event was at the Park @ Brickmakers!!! Who ever is in charge of the food/beverage contract with the park should know that We had the absolute worst experience planning event here. Save yourself a lot of headaches and go somewhere where you will be appreciated as someone paying hundreds of dollars for an event. The catering food/beverage manager was so rude he literally told me to go somewhere else because what did I expect him to do, and then he proceeded to hangup on me. This is not the type of place that values customers. I had 50 guests due to arrive for a graduation party event and not one thing was as planned. I’ve left several messages today for a manager, and no one has responded.

Brian Bauer: This address and review is for the NOVA Parks Headquarters/Corporate Campus located off Pope's Head Road in Fairfax Station, VA. While comprised completely of meeting rooms, offices and business machines, the lobby of the building does offer maps, brochures, flyers and other information, and is 100 percent open to the public for this purpose from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Visitors can also make reservations for shelters, birthday party areas and other NOVA Parks offerings at the front desk lobby.

John Herbstritt: NOVA Parks Headquarters is easy to find and a great organization with a history of 60 years managing numerous parks across the Northern Virginia area.
Response: Thank you John! We're so glad you enjoy NOVA Parks. We work hard to preserve and conserve many acres of parkland and historic sites in Northern Virginia. We hope to continue this tradition for 60+ more years!

Glen Echo Park: what do users think?

beyondTabu: Nice open area. The aquarium is a must visit, as well as the carousel. Even though the aquarium is small, there’s lots of info provided on the local aquatic life and they have a life fish in tanks to see. Not much else was open though. Def has potential.

Moving on with Old Man River Old man river: The national park service is not on-site at this time. I was told the park information and stamps were in rhe tan building next to the carousel. It is a100 year old carousel, it was operating when I got there. The price for rides is 2.00 or you can buy the 5.00 unlimited rides that day. I got the 5.00 wrist band, it was great and highly recommended.

Eileen Coxe: Glen echo is a park that seems to be a bit outdated. Most of everything is open during the weekends. Its very pretty though as youd want to sit and have a picnic lunch. Its definitely a place youd want to visit on weekends and check out. Its definitely a throw back

Clarke Fox: There's an unmistakable magic clinging to this place. An Art Deco sanctuary masquerading as a theme park tucked away on the banks of the Potomac, where it's evaded the passage of time. I went on a Friday night when nothing was happening and saw four or five people trickle through in two hours. Glen Echo Park is a peach, a gem, a must-see, with little wonders in every direction

CB DCDiva: Hidden gem and throwback to old DC, Glen Echo Park is a gorgeous vintage "amusement " park with vintage mid century buildings, attractions and grounds. The carousel, Spanish Ballroom and shops all give a seaside, Catskill, old time movie set vibe that is kid friendly and very walkable. Free to the public. There are threatres, shows and rentable spaces for just about any occasion.

Tabitha King: Very neat park, especially for kids! I enjoyed the feeling of a vintage amusement park. Would love to come back in the evening to photograph the buildings.

Lou Fegans: Unique historic amusement park, worth a quick detour if you are in the area! Parking: park at the large parking lot titled "Glen Echo Park Parking" and cross a beautiful stone bridge to reach the park. Attraction: small historic amusement park managed by the National Park Service. There is an aquarium ($8), historic carousel ($5 for day pass), a theater, artist studios, small museum with art exhibits, and lots of buildings with historic decor. There are informational signs throughout the park highlighting the history. Duration: If there are no events going on you could visit the site in 30min-1hr. Be sure to also check out the Clare Barton NHS at the entrance to the parking lot.

Jeff Tong: A quiet place with numerous small wonders. The Spanish ballroom is elegant, open, and breezy especially in summer. There are several art related buildings that teach photography, painting, glass art, and pottery. There's also a carousel and aquarium.

Krystal Hamlet: Loved being here especially after learning the history. Would be cool if they rebuilt this entire amusement park. But my son and I enjoyed the carousel and the beautiful trails.

Karen Smith: Its a kid friendly park with multiple art classes, music, puppet theatre and adult dance classes with live music swing bands and such on certain evenings. Plus the carousel and a snack shop with picnic tables. The carousel is open most weekends may to October. They have open house events throughout the spring summer season.Leafy back drop. Pleasent for kids and adults. Oh they also have a little marine museum and a short film explaining the parks place in the Civil Rights movement from hot spring resort to amusement park to arts center.

Frederick Douglass National Historic Site: what do users think?

Pavan Kumar: I visited this historic site during African American history month. I was little disappointed since I can' t tour the house and visitor center. The view from cedar hill is great and the US Capitol dome and the Washington monument are visible from this location. Their are lots of parking spaces and lot of steps to climb the hill.

ash Austin: This house was a lovely sight to see on the hill overlooking a small section of Anacostia. Mr Douglas even had his version of a "man-cave" on premises and a nice house he bought in late 1800's...

Gabriel Craft: A hopeful and inspiring place for all Americans as Frederick Douglass was born into slavery yet became free an spent his life working for the rights of African Americans and also women's rights.. Amazing view of DC cityscape and the capital. If you have kids, bring them to see this American hero's final home. They will be interested to see Lincoln's cane as well (which Mary Todd gifted Frederick after Abraham Lincoln's assassination). It flies under the radar so not usually busy. Free admission and free tour but you must register online or by phone or at the visitors center before you can enter the home. Short film in the visitors center available for viewing prior to visiting the home. Free parking but beware **the front gate closes** a few hours after the open hours and your car may be locked inside if you decide to walk or bike around. See you on the road, 📸 🙋‍♂️@gabrielcraft.me Frederick Douglass was an American social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman. After escaping from slavery in Maryland, he became a national leader of the abolitionist movement in Massachusetts and New York, gaining note for his oratory and incisive antislavery writings. ~Wikipedia

Matthew Henry: If you don't know Fredrick Douglas, come find out. Incredible place to learn of a man and family that changed history. The home is well maintained and offers breathtaking views of DC. You won't be disappointed. Thankful for the life of Fredrick Douglas.

Chris Petote: This was an extreme privilege for me to see the Washington home of such an important and influential man. Frederick Douglass, from former slave to supreme abolitionist, an extremely well versed speaker and brave human. The house is wonderfully kept, the guide was very knowledgeable, this is history at its finest.

Alisha Thompson: If you do not know much about Frederick Douglass then this would be the perfect place to visit. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and life of Frederick Douglass. The house was very well preserved and it was a very fascinating tour overall. To be able to witness how life was back then compared to now was really eye-opening and I'd definitely recommend this tour as part of anyone's first time visiting Washington DC.

Nacre Coleman: We had our dog and didn't schedule a tour in advance so make sure to do that. However, we were able to view a short video and see some interesting facts. We were given the ability to drive up to the house and observe from the outside. I really appreciated that.

Aaliyah Green: Frederick Douglass home was such a Fantastic visit. I took my children as sort of a mini field trip to tour the grounds. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and informative about the timeline of Douglass life when his incredible Family lived in the home and on the property. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the home had to offer, it was marvelous to have a window back into time in such an extraordinary way. I recommend all families near and far visit this national treasure!

Mind Queen: Wow. I learned more about this man and his legacy via a 15 min tour than I did in school. The house is amazing! Beautifully upkept since the 1800s early 1900s same as it was left. You literally step onto a time portal. I didnt like that their park rangers were not giving out proper instructions and information about the tours start time. When I walked in and being someone who had never been there before I asked them everything to take the tour and those 2 rangers gave me a wrong time, didn't say I needed a ticket, told me to meet right where we were standing but it was actually supposed to be somewhere else. And for that I was there for an hour and missed the tour because of the rangers failure to explain what to do. They didn't know when the shuttle buses were coming and going. I mean they were not that organized. It was strange! The book store clerk was extra helpful and thr tour guide was even more. They seem VERY protective of F.D. and its interesting that he died with women protecting him and to this present day women still do.

Dawn Daly-Mack: The house was well preserved. The tour guide was well-versed in Frederick Douglass' life. The visitor center plays a film about his life that is very informative. I recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the history of this country.

Sky Zone Trampoline Park: what do users think?

Binod Gupta: Good place to let the kids release some energy. Its a big trampoline park with lots of attractions but a few were closed. Isn’t too pricey either. There are party rooms which can be booked for birthday’s etc. definitely worth a visit for the kids. Our kids had a lot of fun. Socks came with the tickets.

M Williamson: This place used to be fun for kids to play on the weekend especially in the winter. Expensive and overpriced, but still fun. Tonight, we waited an hour to enter and afterward realized that half of the attractions are closed. The above-ground obstacle course, rock climbing, and all of the open space trampolines are closed, which are basically the best part of the experience. The open parts are the two small trampolines connected to the two ball pits, which seem to be reserved for the smaller children at this time, the basketball course, and the obstacle course in the back. My kids are still having fun but for half the attractions to be closed admission should be discounted and I feel like a victim of bait and switch.
Response: We're sorry to hear about your experience you can reach out to us Springfield_jump@skyzone.com

Ronnie Villarroel: What the hell Sky Zone? Many of the climbing attractions are closed on a Saturday when is busiest time, why!? Many of the climbing wall were also removed. Place is filthy, trash everywhere and trash cans are full. Sky Zone is using the main area as storage? See photo! The place is clearly operated by teenagers, they try their best but this place does not have good management. Totally disappointed. Sky Zone you can do better than this
Response: We're sorry to hear about your experience. We would love for you to reach out to us at springfield_jump@circustrix.com

Ethan Clark: Lots to do, but still under construction and renovation. Chaotic on a Saturday afternoon. As of today 6 areas were closed.
Response: We're sorry to hear about your experience. We would love for you to reach out to us at springfield_jump@skyzone.com

Charles Black: This is a pretty large trampoline park. Its a great place to take your kids for an hour or two of fun. They also have party rooms if you want to throw a birthday party.

Robert Crawford: There was not a single Trampoline area open (both closed) . The climbing areas are closed. The obstacle areas are closed. The challenge course is closed and the inspection certificate is three months out of date. The VR is closed. This place is not maintained and you should never come here.

Mery Mamani: Horrible place, poorly maintained, most of the actual trampoline sections were CLOSED! We are very disappointed.
Response: We're sorry to hear about your experience if you would like please reach out to us a springfield_jump@skyzone.com

Kiersta Navarro: Great for kids of all ages! Even the adults can have lots of fun here! They offer a family membership which is a really good deal if you come here frequently!
Response: Thanks Kiersta

J.C. D.: Cool park with a lot of newer features. But… as others have noted. Don’t bother showing up before noon on a weekday. Half of the areas are unmanned and closed off. Including some of their best stuff. I know their slow but when there are more people working the counter than the play areas…
Response: We're sorry to hear about your experience please feel free to contact us at springfield_jump@skyzone.com

Siiri Stinson: We were pleased to find the trampoline park open midweek and a welcome break from the heat. The process to get tickets reserved, including grippy socks, was easy. Once we arrived we were able to get right to jumping. There were activities for all of us to enjoy. The youngest in our group was 6 and he had a blast. I was the oldest at 45 and I jumped with them, flipped into the foam pit, and did Wipe Out, too. The teen and preteen in the group loved it, too. The variety of activities meant we could cycle through and no one got bored. We ran out of steam before we ran out of interest. It was a great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful and everything was clearly marked. We’ll done!!!
Response: Thank you Siiri, please come back and visit.

Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site: what do users think?

Cee Bee: Worth the stop, especially if you're killing time like we were. Very enlightening and inspirational.

Love Lacy: After many years of passing this historic site I finally went in as a part of a tour honoring the 144th anniversary of Ms. McLeod's birth put on by the NPS. When you think of all the amazing and influential people who once stood in the space you stand....wow. If you are into NPS Passports they do have a stamp!

mary walker: Very interesting and educational. Will visit it again.

Robin Taylor: Very disappointed that I caught the Metro and walked to get there only for the gate to be opened but the doors to be LOCKED! Would have loved to have seen such a historical place!! Please update your info to reflect that it's still CLOSED!! I even called the number but the voicemail was full!!

Michelle Jamison: Historically sound and well maintained!

Austin Graff: The history behind Mary McLeod Bethune is very important and for that fact alone, it's worth stopping at this museum. Like many museums in D.C., it's free and open throughout the week. However, it is TINY. It's a small row home in Logan Circle with two floors with several rooms. If you know about Mary McLeod Bethune beforehand, it's interesting. If you don't. Google her when you're there. The museum does very little to educate you on her life. There aren't helpful posters throughout the museum. Your best bet is to go on one of the few tours they do to actually learn about her.

T: This place is a great historical site unfortunately ot was temporarily closed....It was still a good experience.

Manuel Navia: Mary McLeod Bethune was a titan of the civil rights movement that is not as well recognized as she should be. Many thanks to the knowledgeable, enthusiastic and incredibly helpful National Park Service staff at this site. The Bethune House is one of a number of sites in the Logan Circle area that are managed by the NPS, and we look forward to visiting more of these next time.

Fern Lim: Temporarily closed. Check the NPS site for current status.

Shenna Wheeler: It was awesome seeing first hand one of descendants be immortalized and honored in such an amazing way.

Pirate's Cove Waterpark: what do users think?

Natasha Mills: It's not big, so, if you're from out-of-town like us, just know that. That being said, my kids (teens) had a great time. It was our first trip to a pool in a while, and they really enjoyed the pool and little slide. Not too pricey, and we didn't really mind the drive. Overall, great trip. ALSO NOTE (because it doesn't say anything on the website): there is also an $8 Entry Fee to get into the Regional Park where the actual water park is.
Response: Thank you Natasha! We're glad you and your kids enjoyed your visit to Pirate's Cove Waterpark!

Adrian Reyes: We came today for the first time to Pirates Cove Everything was ok untill an little incident inside the main pool happened and everyone in there had to go out. For maybe almost 2hours. Lifeguards went into the pool with nets, someone may drop some stuff there. Here We are waiting to see if may go in again or go home

Kimberly Naveros: Took my 16 month old here yesterday and had fun! There are lots of water slides and a sand area. Everything was clean and the staff was really nice. All of the lifeguards were really attentive so I felt safe there. My baby is still getting use to the water but I think he will enjoy it when he gets a little older.
Response: Thank you Kimberly! We're so glad you and your 16 month old had a great time at Pirate's Cove Waterpark! We hope you come back and visit us again very soon!

Kara goodman: I’m so impressed by the life guards and staff at this pool! They are well trained and do a great job ensuring everyone is safe. The pool is very clean, lots of chairs, and space, so you’re not too crowded. We got a season pass so we can enjoy it all summer long!
Response: Thank you Kara! We appreciate your kinds words. We're thrilled you will be joining us this summer for Endless Summer Fun! We look forward to welcoming you back!

Elizabeth Navarro: Get there when they open its the best time if you have really small ones. Especially when all the different aged kids start going down the slide in the toddler pool, it gets nuts. Great for a couple of hours, if you have the season pass. If you don't want to eat inside just get stamped and have a picnic right next to the park on the grass and then go back inside. Nice to see how they rotate lifegu6a lot so they never get bored or unfocused in just the same spot all day.
Response: Thank you Elizabeth! We're glad you enjoy visiting Pirate's Cove Waterpark. We appreciate your feedback as our waterpark does get more crowded as the day goes on. We hope you come back and visit us again for another day of endless summer fun!

Ebony Nash: Horrible experience. A group of 8 of us Arrived at 1pm, was not able to get in the pool until after 3. Was not informed by staff at the time purchase that the pool was closed. When I asked about a refund, I was told refunds were not available, but a rain check could be issued. I traveled far to get here and a rain check would do no good. The kids wanted to at least get wet so we stayed, since there was ONLY another 30 min wait.. Even if I lived close I'm sure this is my first and last time here. The funnel cakes were cold, the fries was Luke warm but good..
Response: NOVA Parks strives for consistency between all waterparks and agency policy provides rain checks during event such as these. On this date there was a fecal contamination and due to health reasons, the pool must close for a period of time to ensure safety of all our guests. Please feel free to reach out to the management onsite by calling 703-339-6102 so they can discuss further with you on this matter.

Alex Navarro: I will start by saying I would visit again. My kids and I had a great time. Pros: -big pool -slides for many ages -life vests for public use -lots of shade and chairs -lots of life guards -fenced baby pool -sand pit and water table for the little ones Cons: -this place was sooooo inefficient. We were maybe the 5th group in line and it still took a good 10 minute to get in. There is no reason they can’t allow for online ticket purchases ahead of time. There is also zero shade to wait in while your waiting to enter. -bathrooms were not very clean. -no changing rooms for women at least. Just one large area with open doors. Zero privacy. -no one at first aid when I needed a bandaid. Waited for 10 minutes. -waited in line to order dipin dots, only to be told they were out. Put up a sign. Again this was so inefficient. 10 minutes to take 2 orders ahead of us! Only one register open for the whole place!? -$8 for non county residents to park on top of paying for tickets to get in the waterpark.
Response: We appreciate your feedback and will work with the staff to rectify these issues and look at ways we can be more efficient. We do offer a gate house pass as a more economical way to enter the park for non- jurisdiction residents. If you would like more information about this, please reach out to pohick@nvrpa.org.

Mari Uribe: Terrible experience yesterday! Lifeguards at baby pool do nothing. I addressed a situation and the Lifeguard was upset and ended up approaching my 3 and 5yo saying they were mean just because it bother him I said he needed to give instructions to kids on how to use the slide. I addressed everything with the lifeguards manager after. Not going back ever!
Response: Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at Pirate’s Cove. We will review this information immediately with our waterpark staff to ensure that we continue to improve. We prioritize safety and customer service. If you have any additional information about your visit that you would like to share, please reach out to pohick@nvrpa.org to provide more information. Thank you.

Netta B.: Had a terrible experience here on 6/18/22. Pool manager Cameron Cardinal was very rude and disrespectful. When he was confronted about his rudeness he called the police on a group that was there celebrating a 4 year old’s birthday party. Will never return to this water park again. DO NOT recommend.
Response: Thank you for your feedback. Our staff want to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests of the waterpark. We sometimes employ the assistance of law enforcement when situations become elevated. We appreciate your insight and use this to review our responses and seek tools to provide a high level of customer service in the future.

Donna Grethen: This was a nice/cute little family oriented pirate themed water park. This park offered different swimming areas, water slides and a sectioned off area for the smaller children. They had changing rooms, showers and lockers. They also offered a snack bar and gift shop area, that had towels, swimwear, etc. Unfortunately, both were a little pricey. Overall, nice place to visit, children enjoyed it.

Pinstripes: what do users think?

Raja Haider Hussain: Went for dinner with family this evening. This location is perfect for a weekend drinks, lunch and dinner. One of the best spots near Georgetown waterfront. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and both options offer a lively ambiance. The staff is very attentive , efficient and courteous. They have carefully selected menu and the food we ordered was served fresh and the quality was above par. Their Calamari, Wings, Pizza, Ceasar Salad, Lasagna and chicken sandwiches were really good. However the grilled chicken with Caesar salad was very dry and not that great. We were also offered dessert on the house ( Brownie and ice cream) which was delicious. Over all a nice hangout spot and highly recommended for a casual friendly outing with good food and surroundings.

Benjamin W.: Went here for bowling. Reserving a lane means a server will periodically come by and take food + drink orders. The only thing is their happy hour menu isn't valid while bowling. I'm already spending money to bowl, why can't I get some cheap beer and snacks. Food and drinks were good and staff was responsive. Bowling was fun, so I'd go back. Maybe offer bowling only food and drink specials and clearly state where the happy hour menu is valid up front. Overall solid experience.
Response: Dear Benjamin, Thank you for taking the time to write a review and feedback! We are so glad you had a wonderful time bowling at Pinstripes. Hope to see you again soon!

Khoi Nguyen: Great place for happy hour. I've dined here multiple times. Stopped by on a busy Sunday. My family and I ate some truffle fries, flat breads and wings. The wings are a must order especially the spicy calabrese. Prices are reasonable and on Sunday HH is between 6-10 pm. The drinks weren't bad either. You can get mixed cocktails for around $6. Fun place to celebrate something or enjoy some happy hour food and drinks. Service is always at a high-level

Mark Orebiyi: My project team had out quarterly engagement activity at Pinstripes recently. We had a slot from 4-6pm. They give you a 15min grace period which is nice. We started bowling and 30 minutes in our lane started acting up. The lane mechanic came to fix it while me and my team ordered food. The food is fantastic. From the wings to the pizza we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our lane was never fixed. After an hour from when it stopped working we were offer to go play Bocce Ball for 30min prior to use leaving. The Manager (Leo) was very accommodating and cover our bowling cost as we well as you bocce ball game. Although they had issues the food was amazing and they took good care of us.

Fredrik Otter: Generous portions and innovative kitchen. Happy Hour prices are fantastic and the location fabulous. Slow service, but when the weather is nice that is only a plus!

Stephen Balza: Just enjoyed a nice meal outside along the C&O Canal on a stunning July evening. Our server was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food portions (Baked Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich) were on the small side, but tasty and moderately priced. It’s a unique place in a great location (Wisconsin Ave a couple blocks from M St and a couple blocks from the Waterfront). We didn’t try the bocce or bowling but it was full of folks who were enjoying it.
Response: Dear Stephen, Thank you for the five star review. We are thrilled you enjoyed our delicious selection of dishes on our patio. We are glad you enjoyed our Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich. We are glad you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again soon for bowling and bocce.

Judy Gordon: I couldn’t be more impressed with this experience in DC. From the minute I walked in with my 2 young grandsons until we left I found the staff to be professional and caring. They certainly care about cleanliness and sanitizing which I appreciated. The food was just delicious- we shared a pizza and scrumptious warm brownie with ice cream for dessert. Do not miss it. The boys loved having the bumper rails automatically pop up when they took their turn. They also loved being able to create various scoring games using animated characters. It was so kid friendly. I felt that the each employee went out of his/ her way to make our experience a terrific one. There’s no other reason to go to any other bowling facility to have a good time.

Bri M: It was my first time bowling at Pinstripes. We had a great time. I will definitely return. The food was awesome and the staff very friendly and attentive. Found that the music was a little loud at times but overall it was a great experience. Parking is underneath and accessible off of Wisconsin Avenue which is very convenient if you are not one to look for street parking. Highly recommend if getting together with family and friends interested in experiencing an upscale bowling activity.
Response: Dear Bri, Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so glad you enjoyed the food, service and bowling! We hope to see you again soon!

Lucie Lautenschlager: Waiter were very kind they know how to do their job. I loved the food. All of it the desert especially I loves going bowling their and from being somewhere not luxurious then this is taking it 2 steps up and I'm in love with this place. I'd recommend to stop and dine in for good food. Have to come again when I visit again. The price and flavor of the food is perfect.
Response: Dear Lucie, Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit with fun bowling, delicious food and service! We are so glad you enjoyed the desert as well! We cannot wait to see you at Pinstripes again soon!

Thomas Weber (halifax9): Very good bloody Marys. Not overly done. Just right. The lobster and egg bruschetta is delicious. Although I would say the bread is unnecessary. Service started slow but got better. A very nice place. Oh by the way, they have bowling and bocce too!
Response: Dear Thomas, Thank you for the feedback. We are glad you had an amazing experience and enjoyed our Lobster & Egg Bruschetta and Bloody Mary. We hope to see you again soon for bowling and bocce.

The Escape Game DC (Georgetown): what do users think?

Benjamin Flores: I brought my team here for a Team Building activity, it was great. The atmosphere in the main area was very chill and relax. The chess sets and giant Connect 4 was really cool. The Pirate Adventure was a lot of fun. The whole team had a great time solving the clues and escaping game. I would definitely recommend for team building or just going to have a good time.

Eric Hawkins: Our daughter chose to go to The Escape Game in Georgetown during her Make A Wish trip in June 2022. These guys and gals did an awesome job! We barely noticed that our little girl's favorite band, The Beatles, was playing over the PA when we started our room. It wasn't until we uncovered a clue that unlocked and interior door that we discovered just how far they had gone to make this visit special. The employees had placed a gift bag in the uncovered room behind he door. It was a Beatles bag with several goodies inside. Her favorite piece was the handmade music box that plays "Let it Be." We escaped our room with four clues with about 3:45 remaining; but, our best memory will always be how we were treated by the amazing staff. Thank you!

Diana: The Escape Game was an awesome experience. We entered with a party of 3 and awesomely had the room to ourselves. We chose the Dr Whack room and we had a ton of fun. This really an awesome experience and the staff is exceptional, especially Hyde. She really brought the experience to next level.

Jacob Jackson: We did it!! We escaped the titanic! 5th escape room. Much smaller than what I’ve done in the past but the fit a lot of FUN into a small room. Cool interactive experience, polite game leader, good hints when we needed them. Relatively straight forward, there are one or two things that I’m not sure you’d get without the hints. Nice rest rooms and lockers. Very neat waiting room. Would love to come back and try more. Not a great parking situation, but hey that’s what it’s like being a city slicker huh. Parking? Who’s she? Amirite

Ashleigh McNew: I’ve played all the games except the pirate one and they are all exceptional. Alex was my game guide today and he was top notch! This location is an excellent addition to The Escape Game!

la Au: Such fun. We are from new jersey and this wasy first escape room ans i was able to escape. The staff is great and helpful with the clues when need. Absolutely recommend and will come back on my next trip to Washington dc.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Sophia Guo: The rooms were fun and challenging, and the staff was great. Hyde took her time and was thorough in her explanations about each room and with all questions i had asked. It was extremely helpful because it was my friend's and I first time at an escape room so it took us a while to pick a room and she was very patient about it. From her enthusiasm to the cool/thrilling rooms, this made the whole experience fun and exciting. Also, you're not bored while waiting for your turn because the wait room have some board games like connect 4 and chess. Hopefully their bar will open up soon!

Tim K: Team members were very good and friendly. Reception area was huge and great for groups. We took on the Egyptian room with two adults and three kids. We’ve done over 50 rooms throughout the world. We finished the 60 minute room in 40 minutes and really felt let down. It was very ornate, but was really worn out and should be retired. Several key components did not trigger or were so visibly worn so you could tell what others did just by looking at the worn paint or materials. The puzzles they had were far too simple and lacked creativity. This felt like a ‘kit’ room and lacked the true love and attention mom and pop escape rooms put into much better escape rooms. One last note… the walls must be super thin. At one point we could not concentrate based on the yelling from the next room over. For this price, and considering they want you to pay for a guaranteed private room, this was a let down.

Julie F: I took two of my classes here for an end of the year field trip and it was a big hit all around. Ash and Alexis could not have been better and accommodating hosts. Most of the students had never been to a room and their audible screams of surprise were a clear sign of how much fun they had. Ash and Alexis walked everyone through the whole process and our game masters were very helpful as well. The space was perfect for us to have our pizza party and booking could not have been easier with the large group helpline. Thank you 1,000 times over for such a wonderful end to the school year. Most of the students fell asleep on the bus ride back!
Response: Thank you for joining us, Julie! We are so glad the field trip was a big hit and that everyone had so much fun! We look forward to your next adventure.

Emily Becker: My son and I stopped in on a whim and were met by the kindest people ever. They were full that night but helped us book a room for the next night. The room was a blast and our guide, Gregory, was so awesome and helpful. Highly recommend!

The Cheesecake Factory: what do users think?

YOUNG-i The GOD: Great service, hot and prompt food. I tried the clam chowder and salad. It was my first time trying clam chowder and it was pretty good. I also asked to swap the regular salad with the mix greens (no croutons). Everything tasted fresh. Also had a margarita and the sugar free cheesecake. Really surprised at how good that sugar free cheesecake was! Also, our waitress Brittany was excellent and attentive.
Response: Thank you so much for this review. We're glad you enjoyed our Clam Chowder, salad, and great service. We look forward to seeing you again soon for some more of our Low-Licious Cheesecake.

Eric Olkewicz: I had a great experience here. We were able to make a reservation and got seated right away without having to wait, on a Saturday night. Our Servers name was Colby and he was great! He was attentive to our needs and frequently checked up on us to see how we were doing. The food itself was delicious, as it always is. Love the bread especially. I highly recommend going here.
Response: Thanks for your review, Eric. We're glad you enjoyed the delicious food and great service our team provided during this visit. We hope to see you again soon.

Karine Rafferty: The staff was courteous and professional. I liked the salmon, but the accompanying asparagus were so thin they were mainly there for decoration. This was my first time eating in since the Omicron surge. I felt pretty safe. Masks were required and people who were seated with at least an empty table 's distance.
Response: Hi Karine, we're glad you enjoyed our salmon and courteous service. We are so sorry you were not satisfied with your asparagus. Next time, please let our managers know if anything can be improved so we can do our best to make it right. Thank you for your review and we hope to see you again soon.

trickynic303: Excellent service! Followed DC Health Mandate to show proof of vaccination to eat inside.
Response: Thanks for your review. We're glad our team provided excellent service when you dined with us. We look forward to your next visit.

Meet Miss Sallyy: Their food in this location is not as good as the one in Bethesda. I used to be a big fan of Cheesecake Factory.
Response: We are so sorry you were not satisfied with your meal, Sally. Next time, please let our managers know if anything can be improved so we can do our best to make it right. Thank you for your review, and we hope to see you again soon.

Kerrie Blackwell: My family and I went to celebrate my mother’s birthday around 3pm. We were a group of 6 people. Upon entering there is a sign about happy hour that starts at 4. The hostess seats us upstairs and the waitress was amazing. But when we asked about happy hour we were then informed that happy hour was ONLY for DOWNSTAIRS!?. So after we ordered food and ate a couple of us decided to order happy hour drinks from downstairs. After we ordered our drinks we returned upstairs after paying. After we paid upstairs a few of us returned downstairs for happy hour drinks where a new hostess/manager told the bar tenders not to serve us without expressing that to us not explaining why. So after a few moments I asked anyone I was with if they had ordered, it was not until then the hostess/manager decided to explain to us that she wasn’t serving us because WE HAD A TABLE UPSTAIRS!! Upset I expressed that we actually spent at least $250 in the restaurant and closed the tab and left the table already. She continued to say she can’t serve us and didn’t give an explanation why so we just left and told her CHEESECAKE FACTORY will no longer be a restaurant choice of ours.
Response: Hi Kerrie, we are very sorry for this experience with our staff. We'd like to speak with you more. Please visit our website’s Contact Us page. Select "General Questions and Comments" from the menu and allow us a few days to get back to you. Thank you.

Karen o reilly: Huge menu here so you need time to peruse it. All items have calories beside them !!!! Friendly waiter. Opted for a steak, Korean chicken and a skinny turkey and avocado sandwich. Fries with steak. Food was tasty but it could be hotter. I don't get Americans not getting hot food to the table as fast as possible??? Steak was large and for a 14yr old who loved it. Fussy sister who is usually not satisfied when she diverts from her "usual" just loved the Korean Chicken. The skinny sandwich was very tasty. All Flavourful food and huge portion of steak and chicken so doggy bag required. Restaurant was cold so didn't support us remaining on for cheesecake. Bill $72 dollars.
Response: Thanks for your review, Karen. We're glad you and your family enjoyed our Korean Fried Chicken, avocado toast, steak, generous portions, menu options, and friendly service. We hope to see you again soon.

Eli Argueta: This is by far the worst Cheesecake I’ve ever visited. I’m also not one to leave negative reviews but the food was BLAND and flavorless!! Also our waiter always forgot about us!! Had to wave him down Like I was at a concert! Than after 2 and half hours of mostly waiting around. Only spent a few minutes actually eating because the food was bad. I decided to pay my bill and order our desserts at the to-go section. They also took long (wasn’t busy) and I ordered 5 cakes and only received 4!! The one they missed being the birthday persons cake!! This restaurant has literally made me so upset, i spent over $200+ For horrible service and food!! Cheesecake is expensive too and I didn’t receive it. Honestly unhappy and mad.
Response: Hi Eli, we are terribly sorry for the food and service you received. We know you are frustrated and we would like to understand more. Please contact us by going to our webpage - http://www.thecheesecakefactory.com/connect. Click "General Questions and Comments" from the Contact Category drop-down menu. Thank you.

Chanpen Tee: Food is delicious. The staff is nice.
Response: Thanks for your review. We're glad you enjoyed the food and service our team provided during this visit. We hope to see you again soon.

Jasmine Ramos: On 2/15/22 me and my fiancé were having a day in DC and we had a lovely server named Anna, kind and humorous. Brought everything in good time even though she had another table she made sure to take care of everyone, good place for a quick lunch enjoyed everything food was amazing and Anna was too! Thank you Anna :)
Response: Hi Jasmine, thank you for your review. We're glad you and your fiancé enjoyed our amazing food and service during this visit. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
