The Yards Park: what do users think?

Da-Wang Wu: The area was nicely designed with beautiful bridges, lawn and chairs along the way. It’s not too crowded on weekend evening in late April. The night view was pretty amazing, and there seemed to have some great restaurants, winery and stores around this area. We had a fantastic dinner at Chole and walked around the park after it. Highly recommend!

Jason Persaud: Lovely park with excellent views of the Anacostia River and Frederick Doulgass Memorial Bridge. Very neat and well-kept. Lots of walker, joggers, runners, strollers and pets…but more than enough space for everyone. The area itself has lots of nice and trendy eating options a block or two in. A short scenic walk to Nationals Ball Park. Street parking in the area is tough but there is a large parking lot on Water Street SE and 4th Street SE which is reasonably priced…$2-3/hr on weekdays/weekends. Retrieve ticket upon lot entry, pay at muni meter when you are leaving and insert paid ticket into turnstile. (Pretty common process)

I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: The Rose All Day event was beauty!!! Everyone was dressed to impressed and the crowd was a sure fun feeling. I’m so happy I came but was told at the lat minute. Il’ll be sure to attend more events with such prestige.

Ismael Negron: Very nice remake of the old Anacostia Waterfront. A lot of good restaurants and even the only winery in DC, District Winery. Walks along the Anacostia Riverfront from the new Frederick Douglas Bridge to the Navy Yard are very enjoyable, with lost of benches to rests, and sights platforms with weird art instalations to take pictures of.

beyondTabu: Really nice area with shops restaurants and bars. There was a live concert which was really good. Lots of kids and adults alike were dancing and relaxing on the grass. It got really busy as it was a Friday night and parking gets tough.

Stuart Miles-McLean: Beautiful walk along the west bank of the Anacostia River on a boardwalk with beautiful views of the river, lots of benches, shady spots, a shallow pool w/ waterfall for kids to play, plus entertainment and dining options. You can also make it a nice walking, running, or biking loop by going across the river on the 11th Street bridge, through Anacostia Park on the east side of the river, then across the Frederick Douglass bridge, and back around to Yards Park -- lots of pretty views and good trails the whole way.

Carmen Rodriguez: Great place for pictures and lots of restaurants to choose from.

Richard Miller: Great area for restaurants, bars, and shopping. There's an area for kids to swim in a shallow pool. Great place to walk dogs. Also has dog park.

Skylar J' PR Agency Social Media Management Company: 2 THEE I WED #2theeiwed #dmvevents #supportlocalbusiness #weddingservices #bookyourappointmenttoday Skylar J' PR Agency LLC, Social Media Management Company Work event with my client 2 THEE I WED #SupportSmallBusiness

Elizabeth Saxon: Absolutely Outstanding. I moved out of the Metropolitan area at 14. It was the first time home on 36 years. What a beautiful experience to see such beauty. What a gift to feel so safe.

The Park at 14th: what do users think?

Racquelle White: I have been going to park for near 5 years and I never quite liked it because I used to go when they were more of a club and I never thought I would really pick up and the vibes were a bit off. However, in the last year it has become one of my favorite restaurants to visit in DC! I have gone a few times with my friend for fancy dinners where we dress up And their food is actually top tier here. I've also attended some of their black professional networking events and paties which I enjoyed!

Gabriella WOWITSGOLDIE: Had a blast here !! Food was really good for brunch … it’s like a big plate of food and unlimited mimosas … salmon was so good ! Wings came off the bone, delicious. You pay one fee and spend like 3 hours there. The music was pretty good too, after you drink a few glasses you might even get up and dance. Bathrooms upstairs are very tiny and a little outdated other then that service was very good and food was great would definitely recommend! We will be back!

Tasha Fuller: It was all good, from the drinks, appetizers, entrees, to desserts and service. As you can see we were ready and The Park at 14th did not disappoint. We all agreed that the spinach and artichoke dip was “da bomb” the dip was creamy and full of flavor and the the fresh baked chips were the perfect compliment. We also enjoyed the shrimp and calamari. For dinner we ordered jerk wings for the table and I had the lamb, and I was not ashamed to pick up and clean the bone, it was that good. Everyone ordered the brownie for dessert and then we ordered a bread pudding for everyone to sample. I could have eaten them both and some would say I tried. You must check them out when they reopen in March.

Solana Cox: We came here all the way from Pittsburgh to celebrate our 5 year anniversary weekend. Every occasion and celebration that comes up, I will choose this place every time. The service and the DJ was on point. After a nice fine dining experience the night before, this is exactly what we were looking for the next day. Good vibes, good music, good food and drinks, and an all around fun atmosphere. When we told them it was our anniversary, they went above and beyond for us the entire night we were there. All the staff were so helpful and kept checking in on us even if it wasn’t our actual waiter. Special shout out to Dre which I’m assuming is the manager, that guy was running circles assisting staff. I’m a manager myself and now I feel like I need to step my game up watching that guy work lol. He was on top of everything and made sure we left with a memorable experience. I plan on coming back every time I visit DC. If you’re looking for a night out with good food and drinks, a live DJ playing hip hop/ r & b hits from early to mid 2000s, and all around exceptional service, this place is it. Highly recommend.

Jenn (Jenn): A small group of friends and I had dinner at The Park for my friend’s birthday and it was a good time. It was our first time eating dinner here and the food was presently good. I ordered the baby lamb chops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My meal would have been really good but the gravy was salty so that ruined my meal. The lamb chops were nicely cooked, tender and juicy. The size is accurate for the name, and they were indeed baby size.

Lani: It was okay. The food / drinks came out fast. The happy hour only had two drinks on the menu and they weren’t strong. It was busy so we didn’t see our servers as much. I feel like the entrees are over priced now. We didn’t get enough to match the $30-40 price tags per entree. The wings werent good anymore, they were soggy. The vibe is definitely different now that it’s a restaurant only, which isn’t a bad thing but it should be noted. I think the quantity of food should match what you’re paying. I liked that I could let any server know my order if I didn’t see my server and they took my requests. But I don’t see myself returning here. The servers energy was that I couldn’t just come for drinks anymore and had to order a meal and not just appetizers. He was pushy & kept asking me what I wanted to eat and I had ordered many drinks and apps at the point, didn’t like that. The party next to us was overwhelmingly loud and we couldn’t hear each other.

Kar Ruiz: Great experience. We went for my friend’s birthday and the service was excellent; food amazing. We just loved it. Planing to come back.

Behanka G.: Food was bomb! Drinks were good. I had the pan seared chicken, a tuxedo, and daily punch. First time here and I had a friend visiting. She enjoyed it as well. The place was lively and well decorated. Parking was hard to find on a friday night but luckily there’s valet for $25.

Dan Richards: Went here for brunch as part of a group conference. They gave us a sampler of different foods and everything was great. From the French Toast to the wings every bite was an experience. The mac & cheese was one of the best that I have had at a restaurant. The eggs were fluffy and the bacon was perfect.

Latasha Perry: We made a reservation on open table the day prior as a recommendation from a friend. At our arrival we were greeted and seated promptly. The staff was friendly, attentive and swift. Our food arrived hot and was so good. The jerk wings amazing and the salmon juicy and flavorful. Mac and cheese was perfect. To note: There is a bar for seating as well. The atmosphere is dark themed and the music was complimentary of a Saturday night out.

Maxwell Park - Shaw: what do users think?

Melanie Smith: They have really upped the food game here since they brought on Masako Morishita in the kitchen. The food is creative, innovative, complex, yet unfussy. Loved the gyoza- which was filled with a rich edamame and garlic purée. I could’ve eaten them all night long. The taco rice is the traditional comfort food like you find in Japan, but the beef is cooked in Japanese curry spices… making it even better. Also recommend the braised daikon as long as it’s on the menu. This dish is of the caliber of something you expect to find in a Michelin rated restaurant. Really really great. Oh and the wine is good too.

Katherine Koehler: This is a fabulous wine bar. Knowledge servers, some truly different and wonderful wines. Also the snacks are delicious! So happy this is in my neighborhood

A M: My new favorite wine bar (really the only wine bar I know). Multiple staff members, including the owner, are sommeliers and are very knowledgeable of wine. They have a monthly theme that keeps people coming back for more, and they do cool events all the time. Get there early for a table (I don't think they do reservations), get an Uber, and hey ready for a great night.

Amanda Baum: Best wine bar in DC by far! Amazing wines from around the world on a fantastic wine list that changes monthly based on monthly themes. Staff/owners are very knowledgeable and very kind, a combo that’s hard to find in DC wine circles. Maxwell is truly a gem in DC, it is decently priced and offers wine by the half glass - perfect for tasting new wines!

Sherman C: Knowledgeable and professional service. Good selection with option for half glass. Wine’s price range is a bit wide so be careful . I would suggest they have a separate “Premium” section to make it clearer for customers to know what range they are buying.

Meghan Schott: All the staff have interesting shirts. Also a good atmosphere with great wine.

Sol Febus: The best wine bar in DC! For anyone looking for a low-key place to enjoy a glass (or more), Maxwell is the place to go. They have great selections, and offer half pours, which is great for exploring new styles (that's how my journey with Georgian Amber wines started). Also noting the staff members are knowledgeable, and not pretentious at all. I don't even look at the menu anymore, they pick wines for me, and never disappoints. :)

Brucie B: This place is awesome!! The drinks were amazing and the wine is phenomenal!!! I give the customer service five stars!! The owner Ms. Lang did amazing job on giving my friends and I choices on wine and cocktails to choose from! Her interaction with customers in this high end DC location makes you feel you’ve been there 1 million times!!!I love this place!! by the way the Lamb burger is to die for!!The facility it self is so classy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend everyone to go check it out. If you want to go on a date with a significant other or just have a good time with friends, this is the place to be. Plus, they do a great job following the COVID-19 procedures during this pandemic!!

Alison Burmchester: My husband and I always stop here to enjoy a bottle of wine. This particular evening we were greeted by an unpleasant and dismissive staff named Nathan. The way he talked to me was different than the way he talked to my husband. One thing that really bothered me was the "mansplaining" about the wine. When I confronted him about the situation, he proceeded to dismiss my concerns. The one star is for the other staff ( I think his name is Ted) who provided great customer service. The newer staff needs to be trained properly on professionalism. If we do decide to support this business again we will be going to the Navy Yard location.
Response: Allison, I’m so sorry to hear this. Can you please email me at brent@maxwelldcwine.com? This is not what we go for at all and I appreciate you letting us know.

Kelsi Genday: The food was AMAZING!!! The wine was pricey but that was expected- it’s a great place to go to get some fun and interesting wines. The service was a little slow, but they seemed busy. It’s definitely a must try if you’re a wine lover

Austin Graff: Tucked away in Kalorama next to the police guarding the street the Obamas live on is a small park. Small gates block he entrance turning it into a dog park. Once inside, you'll find a narrow green space with city views, a little library and wooden chairs with unique designs. It's a quiet place for a book and an easy place to social distance. There are signs on the fences that say the park is sprayed down weekly to help reduce mosquitos.

Tony Sheh: Small simple area with hard packed dirt.

Jessica Mers: Perfect place to bring the pup!

Xyan Rose: This place is a hidden gem

Meridian Hill Park: what do users think?

Shay Wright: This park is beautiful 🤩 it has educational information about local plants and you can even purchase them. The park is larger than I expected with garden grounds and a pond.

Debbie Perez: Had a great time at the park over the Valentine's day weekend. I photographed a couple for their engagement pictures. Big day is in September of this. So happy to be working and sharing in this special moment. Great park, lots to see and do.

Leslie Williston: this place is great for dog and people watching! could use some freshly planted grass though as it’s a bit dry and dirt like. overall fun times here!

Shannon Curvey: Nice park! Great place for an impromptu yoga class!...Wonder why the name changed to Meridian Hill?

Brian SHIELDS: A hidden gem 💎 among the many others eclipsing it, this place is the "Holy Grail" of public gathering venues, bar none! Multiculturalism thrives here...group activities (mostly during weekends) are abounding...yoga, 🧘‍♀️ meditation 🧘‍♂️, musicians, 💃dance, juggling, tightrope walking...myriad entertainment attractions...all within the hallowed realm of Meridian Hill, or, Malcolm X, Park. And yes, there's public restroom 🚻 access daily until 6pm as well. But for the longer Summer Solstice hours of daylight and there's the need for bathroom duty, just visit any of the local restaurants conveniently located nearby and indulge your natural appetites for food, fun, and festivities...but DO return to Meridian Hill Park where "true" community bliss is found and shared!

Ashley Deck: Wonderful park. Stunning architecture. Great people. The drum circle is just the icing on the cake. Such a heartwarming vibe 💗

Tarika Smith: Born and raised in D.C. and yesterday was the first time I've ever visited Meridian Hill Park. I must say it was amazing. Just a overall great vibe. A nice place for people to gather and socialize or just have a relaxing sit down on a blanket. I enjoyed the drums as well as the DJ that was playing music. The only downside is there is not a place where little children can play. It would be nice to have a small play area.

courtney mims: I love this park. It's a 15 min walk from our house but I drive and never had a problem with parking. I love to take my two pekingese to walk at sunset. They get to socialize with over a dozen other pups. They love it even more than I do.

Ryan Conklin: Malcolm X Memorial Park (how you’ll hear most DC residents refer to it) is a gem of a green space in the beautiful Adam’s Morgan neighborhood. Kissed my beautiful girlfriend here, 10/10 experience, we go regularly and so does half the neighborhood. Great sense of community and good jugglers, a taste of a European city in DC.

María VC: Every Sunday afternoon there is a “drum circle” playing! Dozens of people come to watch, dance or play their own drums. You can also have a picnic or take a nap under the trees. Lovely park!!

The Yards: what do users think?

Tyler Harris: I remember coming to this area just 10 years ago and it was not the part of town where you would want to bring your family. Now it has several beautiful boardwalks, bridges and green space that make this a great hangout venue. There are lots of great restaurants on the water with even more just up a ways.i really enjoy this area.

Aram Kamel: I thing the water need to cleanThey should find away for that .There is a sewage outlet in the same place people is hanging out. I don't know what is the reason.

Alex Novik: Nice and fresh place. Holidays with children are wonderful, there are many lawns, an outdoor children's pool with a waterfall, a beautiful view of the river!

Dwayne Clayburn: This place seemed like something you have seen on tv or a book about another place in another state but this beautiful spot is right here in DC. I think I have seen an old photo of this area on a Facebook post but from years ago when they were young. To miss out on the view for so long ahh. My favorite spot is Hanes point on the airport side and now i have another the yards. I only saw a little bit of it and was amazed at the amount I saw. Come down check it out there are places to go in a dine or just get the food and find a spot outside on a beautiful day. When I went it was a little cold but beautiful. I'll be back with either pizza or some Popeyes and lemonade to chill for a bit.

DAVID GILL: Great views of the river. Nice large boardwalk and many trees for shade. Grass area for kids to play. Also a good variety of restaurants to choose from close by.

Keith Delk: Perfect place for a photoshoot after good meals and drinks! Golden hour here is gorgeous (5-7pm.) Love the views and plenty of areas to sit for a nice chat or self introspection.

Giselle LP: Plenty of eateries, pathways to walk, bike and picnic, and beautiful views. However, when you look over the railing down below at the water, there are heaps of accumulated garbage - mostly plastic waste, so please don't litter. Apparently there's a waste management system in place, but why is there so much garbage floating around?

Rodger Brown: Great scenery and plenty of space to dine or grab friends and sit outside. The waterfront it so peaceful and there's plenty new attractions in 2022. The pier wraps around the area and gives a cool breeze as you bask in the sun. From ice cream to the winery, to Nationals Stadium, the Yards provides a lovely, diverse experience.

Bob Landes: Fantastic light and lanscaping. Wonderful place to walk along the river boardealk and over pedestrian bridges with many places to chill or have food and refresment.

Bas Harkink: Nice place to walk around and take a look.

Rahul Panchal: Great place to watch games, place is getting all tight up with buying tickets from machine and getting food at stall. Price are getting super high as well with beer for 15 bucks and so is cocktails. But worth it if you go before game and buy ctuff as its cheaper. #frederick #localguide #WashingtonDC #DC

Michael Aaron: Was there for a holiday party- an unusual choice compared to the normal renting out of a bar. It's pretty, and good for people with kids but too expensive. I'd have expected for the price of a ticket you'd at least get a free drink or snack. Perhaps with a camera more advanced than one in a cellphone, it could produce some cool pictures.

John Knippenberg: This is our meet-up, and most times, game viewing area at Nats Park. Awesome BBQ close by.

Thaddaeus Cox: Top choice to pregame! $5 bud and bud light until 30 minutes before start time with great bbq option next to the bar. Craft beers and wines also available. Lounge sofas, high chairs with tables, and lots of standing room provide great views of the game before heading to your seats.

Don H: I've been here a few times, usually it's decent. Acceptable service with overpriced food and beer, par for the course at any stadium. Tried to get a table last week during a game and was told there was an hour and a half wait. I looked outside and counted no less than 10 empty tables. There were no line ups or crowds of people waiting to be seated. They took my name and phone number so I could be texted when a table was ready. Clearly I'm not going to wait an hour or more so we went back to our seats. Within ten minutes I got a text, but wasn't about to walk all the way back. For a place that's only opened during games and events, you'd think they'd be smart about getting people in those seats and serving them those expensive beers. Someone needs to be fired because this place is turning people away and leaving tables empty.

Douglas Quackenbush: This is a wonderful place to "wait" for the game to start. Of course the prices are high and they only have InBev beers (Belgium company that owns Budweiser). Bit at least they have an IPA. Very tasty BBQ on the loft also

Michelle Jafari: we were served by Don, he is personable and a pleasure to work with. The view to the field is great and bathrooms are convenient. They have large cooling /misting fans which are great but a bit noisy

James Walker: Nats ready to finish the fight, at home after grabbing series 2-0 lead from the Houston Astros.

David G: Went here for game 5 of the NLCS when they clinched the world series! What a team and what a park!

Fredrick Ferguson: Really like this park, mostly left field seats when I get off the metro!!

andrew bowden: Beautiful great views of Washington D C from this location. Great to get away from noise and people while visiting Washington D C.

Trish Hicks: Great place to sit, ride a bike or take a walk by the water since it's along the Mount Vernon Trail. There are always people sitting and relaxing as well as fishing...Spring is beautiful here with all the tulips in bloom.

Basel El-Shrafi: I frequent this park a lot. Its a great escape and has a 360 perspective of the DC/VA border.

F Chavez: This is one of those places that many people see while driving on the parkway but never take the time to visit cause it takes a walk.

Jaye Beringer: It's a gorgeous park! The W&OD trail runs right through the park, and it's along the river. We ran a 5k along the trail through the park and even though it was windy that day, it was wonderful to walk through it and see all the monuments.

Uddin Nipu: Its a nice calm park for family get together and obviously for children to play in a open area. Good place for picnic in summer. It is just near the river and just opposite the national monument from where 4th july, independence day's fireworks display can be seen so clearly.

Ulas ISSI: Such a beautiful place to enjoy the nature and water. But for such a good place, that dirty restrooms doesn't fit.

Victoria Caceres: This place is amazing a good view

Yishen Li: One of my favorite urban parks for a relaxing evening stroll in DC along the Potomac!

James Abys-Smith: Great park that's often forgotten. Beautiful flowers in Spring, with beautiful river views year round! Nearby is the Merchant Marine Memorial, an often forgotten and overlooked but important monument.

The President's Park: what do users think?

Mac: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! Very cool being right up against the White House too and seeing all the Secret Service teams as well. EXTREMELY VERY VERY LONG LINE so when it opens back up get there super super early

Rena Correia: We happened to be walking by when the new Justice of the Supreme Court (Judge Ketanje Brown-Jackson) was being introduced to the nation and got to take a few pictures!! The grounds were all cordoned off today as it's right behind the White House gardens. Another beautiful park to enjoy!

Cece Peterson: Being from California and moving to the east coast this was such a beautiful thing to see .. lots of traffic.. over priced water and food.. make sure u bring your own waters it was very hot out the day we went lots and lots of police.. and we got to see the president drive by us at least we thought it was him they shut down the roads and ju6 a few minutes before that we saw the president helicopter fly in over us so that's why we think we saw him drive by us and plus the vehicle he was or whomever it was had the president flags on the front it was such a lucky opportunity to just be able to walk around and see this amazing place

v3j: Always great sightseeing. Be aware of your surroundings: folks on electric scooters and bikes take needless risks and it'll be you that will be injured! A lot of food trucks too.

Jason Clise: I have never made it to this part of DC so this was an awesomely clear day to be outside. There was a great deal of security which was comforting after seeing some of the unique protesters we ran in to. The White House is so majestic and a bit overwhelming. I just love the architecture in DC. Too bad Trump was out of town. I will certainly visit again.

Matthew Prado: It's decent as you can see many items and rooms with importance to the president, but there's nothing of importance in terms of major events for the United States.

Cheryl Anderson: The Lincoln Memorial took my breath away! It was such an amazing feeling/sight being in the park. I have to go back. I still didn't see everything I wanted to see! Omg, it was awesome!

Flavio Polverini: Great area to visit.

KC Mitch: Very nice setup with the tree on the lawn. Lots of security so you feel safe. They need to cut the trees so u can see more of Donald’s house.

Chaz Stickels: It was cool. The national Christmas tree is worth seeing if you're nearby. There are a bunch of model trains around it as well, which are fun. It's probably better people watching that being impressed by a tree but that's good too.

green RITA: c adjacent 2 Park, the Common Good Farm 4 mineral rich veggies grown organic.

Giovanna Dixon: The refurnished park is nice and very well lit at night. Be careful, shootings are common and unexpectedly possible.

David Lasker: Great community park recently renovated to add a small splash fountain for kids, shade sails for the playgrounds, a new grass play field, seating, and 60 new trees. It is also home to Common Good City Farm, the LeDroit Dog Park, and the LeDroit Park Community Garden. I would like to encourage anyone who has left a previous Google review to please revisit the park and consider updating your review now that renovations are complete. The Park at LeDroit is better than ever!

Adan Sierra: Great little park to hang out with young professionals, new families or athletes. Great space in general. Been seeing some people do yoga or just large get togethers.

Austin Graff: The Park at LeDroit is a large pubic park in the neighborhood of LeDroit in NW D.C. The neighborhood is historic and makes for a great walk looking at the beautiful homes. The park itself includes a playground, an urban farm run by Common Good, a Capital Bikeshare station, a beautiful mural, and benches for sitting. It's also a great place to walk your dog!

Gregory Moran: Ive visited LeDroit Park 3-4 days a week for the past few months and am surprised it is not generally busier, for being so nice.

Rene Wallis: Two playgrounds, one toddlers. Dog park area. Urban farm on one side.itter is almost always an issue, sadly.

Sharnese Clemons: I live in the neighborhood and my daughter and I use it daily for working out, swinging, or just enjoying the view.

John MacNeil: Nice open space with two playgrounds, a dog run, and community farm and garden plots. Plus there are pull-up bars and other pieces of apparatus for push-ups, dips, and sit-ups.

Bala Subramaniam: Lovely playground facilities for toddlers and children below 8. Wish there was some shade, on Bright and Sunny days to help maximize the Fun.

James Monroe Park: what do users think?

T S: Since the new construction is completed, the place is more frequently crowded at lunch time. I enjoy an afternoon sit in the sunshine if I can get away from work, but it would be nice if they'd get the fountain up and running again. Way fewer aggressive squirrels than in Lafayette Park, as well, so enjoy when the weather is nice!

Jonathan Etheridge: Nice quiet, very clean, stand alone park. Plenty eateries around and of course, a few departments belonging to the famous "George Washington University".

Karl 1974: Leafy green space next to George Washington campus offering benches, walks & a decorative pool.

K M: Small nice park

Vladimir Mikhaylenko: Good for a short stop between Georgetown and White House

Brian McKain: Probably best to view the Tricorn Sculpture at night.

Sr. EL Boogie: Wonderful park ..

Jordan Davis: Great

Satpal Singh: Good

mke rom: Peaceful

Rawlins Park: what do users think?

roel g: Fountains not flowing, seems neglected. Few homeless folks sitting around. One couple who appeared to not be homeless. Lots of benches.

Peter Smyth-Hammond: Neat park located in the middle of the East bound and West bound roadways of E St., West of the White House grounds. Would be great for a picnic, but there not much here, and the proximity of the homeless camp make it less appealing as the encampment grows. Closed 9PM to 8AM.

Eileen Morris: I've always wanted to photograph the cherry blossoms! Beautiful.

Francina Thomas: This is very nice park in the middle of downtown DC. There are plenty of park benches, which makes it a wonderful place to walk, relax, or have lunch.

Fahad Aqeel: Nice and quiet. Good for a relaxing lunch or to read a book.

mary sharbatz: Fairly bland and empty place with currently drained ponds. Nice place to stop during the magnolia bloom. The park is lined with saucer magnolia trees, so it turns very pink for a limited time!

Jon Trevino: Loved the blooming flowers in the spring time

Austin Graff: Rawlins Park is a small park to the west of the White House and easy to miss. There's a statue of Rawlins himself looking toward the pool of water in the park. Along the edge of the park are benches to relax on or enjoy your lunch when the sun is out. This small, unknown park becomes famous every year during the cherry blossom festival. Bright pink blossoms emerge and on a sunny day, it's one of the best photo opportunities of DC in the spring. Icing on the cake is there's no crowds unlike the Tidal Basin during the cherry blossoms.

Tyler Larsen: Trees are beautiful. Squirrels are aggressive, so guard your food closely. Turns into a public bath after dark when the fountains are on, so shield your child's eyes.

Dawn Cain: We were able to park here and find 3 Lime scooters to ride to the Mall. We fully enjoyed the day!

Eric E: This is very small park which is full of magnolia trees. They are usually in full bloom in April. If you are going there in April be prepared to take loots of photos 📸
