The Yards Park: what do users think?

Da-Wang Wu: The area was nicely designed with beautiful bridges, lawn and chairs along the way. It’s not too crowded on weekend evening in late April. The night view was pretty amazing, and there seemed to have some great restaurants, winery and stores around this area. We had a fantastic dinner at Chole and walked around the park after it. Highly recommend!

Jason Persaud: Lovely park with excellent views of the Anacostia River and Frederick Doulgass Memorial Bridge. Very neat and well-kept. Lots of walker, joggers, runners, strollers and pets…but more than enough space for everyone. The area itself has lots of nice and trendy eating options a block or two in. A short scenic walk to Nationals Ball Park. Street parking in the area is tough but there is a large parking lot on Water Street SE and 4th Street SE which is reasonably priced…$2-3/hr on weekdays/weekends. Retrieve ticket upon lot entry, pay at muni meter when you are leaving and insert paid ticket into turnstile. (Pretty common process)

I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: The Rose All Day event was beauty!!! Everyone was dressed to impressed and the crowd was a sure fun feeling. I’m so happy I came but was told at the lat minute. Il’ll be sure to attend more events with such prestige.

Ismael Negron: Very nice remake of the old Anacostia Waterfront. A lot of good restaurants and even the only winery in DC, District Winery. Walks along the Anacostia Riverfront from the new Frederick Douglas Bridge to the Navy Yard are very enjoyable, with lost of benches to rests, and sights platforms with weird art instalations to take pictures of.

beyondTabu: Really nice area with shops restaurants and bars. There was a live concert which was really good. Lots of kids and adults alike were dancing and relaxing on the grass. It got really busy as it was a Friday night and parking gets tough.

Stuart Miles-McLean: Beautiful walk along the west bank of the Anacostia River on a boardwalk with beautiful views of the river, lots of benches, shady spots, a shallow pool w/ waterfall for kids to play, plus entertainment and dining options. You can also make it a nice walking, running, or biking loop by going across the river on the 11th Street bridge, through Anacostia Park on the east side of the river, then across the Frederick Douglass bridge, and back around to Yards Park -- lots of pretty views and good trails the whole way.

Carmen Rodriguez: Great place for pictures and lots of restaurants to choose from.

Elizabeth Saxon: Absolutely Outstanding. I moved out of the Metropolitan area at 14. It was the first time home on 36 years. What a beautiful experience to see such beauty. What a gift to feel so safe.

The Park at 14th: what do users think?

Gabriella WOWITSGOLDIE: Had a blast here !! Food was really good for brunch … it’s like a big plate of food and unlimited mimosas … salmon was so good ! Wings came off the bone, delicious. You pay one fee and spend like 3 hours there. The music was pretty good too, after you drink a few glasses you might even get up and dance. Bathrooms upstairs are very tiny and a little outdated other then that service was very good and food was great would definitely recommend! We will be back!

Tasha Fuller: It was all good, from the drinks, appetizers, entrees, to desserts and service. As you can see we were ready and The Park at 14th did not disappoint. We all agreed that the spinach and artichoke dip was “da bomb” the dip was creamy and full of flavor and the the fresh baked chips were the perfect compliment. We also enjoyed the shrimp and calamari. For dinner we ordered jerk wings for the table and I had the lamb, and I was not ashamed to pick up and clean the bone, it was that good. Everyone ordered the brownie for dessert and then we ordered a bread pudding for everyone to sample. I could have eaten them both and some would say I tried. You must check them out when they reopen in March.

Solana Cox: We came here all the way from Pittsburgh to celebrate our 5 year anniversary weekend. Every occasion and celebration that comes up, I will choose this place every time. The service and the DJ was on point. After a nice fine dining experience the night before, this is exactly what we were looking for the next day. Good vibes, good music, good food and drinks, and an all around fun atmosphere. When we told them it was our anniversary, they went above and beyond for us the entire night we were there. All the staff were so helpful and kept checking in on us even if it wasn’t our actual waiter. Special shout out to Dre which I’m assuming is the manager, that guy was running circles assisting staff. I’m a manager myself and now I feel like I need to step my game up watching that guy work lol. He was on top of everything and made sure we left with a memorable experience. I plan on coming back every time I visit DC. If you’re looking for a night out with good food and drinks, a live DJ playing hip hop/ r & b hits from early to mid 2000s, and all around exceptional service, this place is it. Highly recommend.

Kar Ruiz: Great experience. We went for my friend’s birthday and the service was excellent; food amazing. We just loved it. Planing to come back.

Behanka G.: Food was bomb! Drinks were good. I had the pan seared chicken, a tuxedo, and daily punch. First time here and I had a friend visiting. She enjoyed it as well. The place was lively and well decorated. Parking was hard to find on a friday night but luckily there’s valet for $25.

Dan Richards: Went here for brunch as part of a group conference. They gave us a sampler of different foods and everything was great. From the French Toast to the wings every bite was an experience. The mac & cheese was one of the best that I have had at a restaurant. The eggs were fluffy and the bacon was perfect.

Latasha Perry: We made a reservation on open table the day prior as a recommendation from a friend. At our arrival we were greeted and seated promptly. The staff was friendly, attentive and swift. Our food arrived hot and was so good. The jerk wings amazing and the salmon juicy and flavorful. Mac and cheese was perfect. To note: There is a bar for seating as well. The atmosphere is dark themed and the music was complimentary of a Saturday night out.

Maxwell Park - Shaw: what do users think?

Melanie Smith: They have really upped the food game here since they brought on Masako Morishita in the kitchen. The food is creative, innovative, complex, yet unfussy. Loved the gyoza- which was filled with a rich edamame and garlic purée. I could’ve eaten them all night long. The taco rice is the traditional comfort food like you find in Japan, but the beef is cooked in Japanese curry spices… making it even better. Also recommend the braised daikon as long as it’s on the menu. This dish is of the caliber of something you expect to find in a Michelin rated restaurant. Really really great. Oh and the wine is good too.

Katherine Koehler: This is a fabulous wine bar. Knowledge servers, some truly different and wonderful wines. Also the snacks are delicious! So happy this is in my neighborhood

Amanda Baum: Best wine bar in DC by far! Amazing wines from around the world on a fantastic wine list that changes monthly based on monthly themes. Staff/owners are very knowledgeable and very kind, a combo that’s hard to find in DC wine circles. Maxwell is truly a gem in DC, it is decently priced and offers wine by the half glass - perfect for tasting new wines!

Sherman C: Knowledgeable and professional service. Good selection with option for half glass. Wine’s price range is a bit wide so be careful . I would suggest they have a separate “Premium” section to make it clearer for customers to know what range they are buying.

Meghan Schott: All the staff have interesting shirts. Also a good atmosphere with great wine.

Brucie B: This place is awesome!! The drinks were amazing and the wine is phenomenal!!! I give the customer service five stars!! The owner Ms. Lang did amazing job on giving my friends and I choices on wine and cocktails to choose from! Her interaction with customers in this high end DC location makes you feel you’ve been there 1 million times!!!I love this place!! by the way the Lamb burger is to die for!!The facility it self is so classy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend everyone to go check it out. If you want to go on a date with a significant other or just have a good time with friends, this is the place to be. Plus, they do a great job following the COVID-19 procedures during this pandemic!!

Kelsi Genday: The food was AMAZING!!! The wine was pricey but that was expected- it’s a great place to go to get some fun and interesting wines. The service was a little slow, but they seemed busy. It’s definitely a must try if you’re a wine lover

Meridian Hill Park: what do users think?

Shay Wright: This park is beautiful 🤩 it has educational information about local plants and you can even purchase them. The park is larger than I expected with garden grounds and a pond.

Leslie Williston: this place is great for dog and people watching! could use some freshly planted grass though as it’s a bit dry and dirt like. overall fun times here!

Shannon Curvey: Nice park! Great place for an impromptu yoga class!...Wonder why the name changed to Meridian Hill?

Ashley Deck: Wonderful park. Stunning architecture. Great people. The drum circle is just the icing on the cake. Such a heartwarming vibe 💗

Ryan Conklin: Malcolm X Memorial Park (how you’ll hear most DC residents refer to it) is a gem of a green space in the beautiful Adam’s Morgan neighborhood. Kissed my beautiful girlfriend here, 10/10 experience, we go regularly and so does half the neighborhood. Great sense of community and good jugglers, a taste of a European city in DC.

María VC: Every Sunday afternoon there is a “drum circle” playing! Dozens of people come to watch, dance or play their own drums. You can also have a picnic or take a nap under the trees. Lovely park!!

Tyler Harris: I remember coming to this area just 10 years ago and it was not the part of town where you would want to bring your family. Now it has several beautiful boardwalks, bridges and green space that make this a great hangout venue. There are lots of great restaurants on the water with even more just up a ways.i really enjoy this area.

DAVID GILL: Great views of the river. Nice large boardwalk and many trees for shade. Grass area for kids to play. Also a good variety of restaurants to choose from close by.

Keith Delk: Perfect place for a photoshoot after good meals and drinks! Golden hour here is gorgeous (5-7pm.) Love the views and plenty of areas to sit for a nice chat or self introspection.

Bob Landes: Fantastic light and lanscaping. Wonderful place to walk along the river boardealk and over pedestrian bridges with many places to chill or have food and refresment.

Bas Harkink: Nice place to walk around and take a look.

Nationals Park Bud Light Loft: what do users think?

Rahul Panchal: Great place to watch games, place is getting all tight up with buying tickets from machine and getting food at stall. Price are getting super high as well with beer for 15 bucks and so is cocktails. But worth it if you go before game and buy ctuff as its cheaper. #frederick #localguide #WashingtonDC #DC

John Knippenberg: This is our meet-up, and most times, game viewing area at Nats Park. Awesome BBQ close by.

Thaddaeus Cox: Top choice to pregame! $5 bud and bud light until 30 minutes before start time with great bbq option next to the bar. Craft beers and wines also available. Lounge sofas, high chairs with tables, and lots of standing room provide great views of the game before heading to your seats.

Douglas Quackenbush: This is a wonderful place to "wait" for the game to start. Of course the prices are high and they only have InBev beers (Belgium company that owns Budweiser). Bit at least they have an IPA. Very tasty BBQ on the loft also

Michelle Jafari: we were served by Don, he is personable and a pleasure to work with. The view to the field is great and bathrooms are convenient. They have large cooling /misting fans which are great but a bit noisy

James Walker: Nats ready to finish the fight, at home after grabbing series 2-0 lead from the Houston Astros.

David G: Went here for game 5 of the NLCS when they clinched the world series! What a team and what a park!

Fredrick Ferguson: Really like this park, mostly left field seats when I get off the metro!!

Mac: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! Very cool being right up against the White House too and seeing all the Secret Service teams as well. EXTREMELY VERY VERY LONG LINE so when it opens back up get there super super early

Jason Clise: I have never made it to this part of DC so this was an awesomely clear day to be outside. There was a great deal of security which was comforting after seeing some of the unique protesters we ran in to. The White House is so majestic and a bit overwhelming. I just love the architecture in DC. Too bad Trump was out of town. I will certainly visit again.

Flavio Polverini: Great area to visit.

KC Mitch: Very nice setup with the tree on the lawn. Lots of security so you feel safe. They need to cut the trees so u can see more of Donald’s house.

green RITA: c adjacent 2 Park, the Common Good Farm 4 mineral rich veggies grown organic.

Giovanna Dixon: The refurnished park is nice and very well lit at night. Be careful, shootings are common and unexpectedly possible.

David Lasker: Great community park recently renovated to add a small splash fountain for kids, shade sails for the playgrounds, a new grass play field, seating, and 60 new trees. It is also home to Common Good City Farm, the LeDroit Dog Park, and the LeDroit Park Community Garden. I would like to encourage anyone who has left a previous Google review to please revisit the park and consider updating your review now that renovations are complete. The Park at LeDroit is better than ever!

Rene Wallis: Two playgrounds, one toddlers. Dog park area. Urban farm on one side.itter is almost always an issue, sadly.

Sharnese Clemons: I live in the neighborhood and my daughter and I use it daily for working out, swinging, or just enjoying the view.

Francina Thomas: This is very nice park in the middle of downtown DC. There are plenty of park benches, which makes it a wonderful place to walk, relax, or have lunch.

Fahad Aqeel: Nice and quiet. Good for a relaxing lunch or to read a book.
